It all started with something as minor as a license plate light, something barely noticeable from 50 ft away. But what happened after this routine traffic stop would take a shocking turn and send the driver on a path toward multiple years behind bars. >> Hey, what's going on, brother? Can you turn the radio down for me? You don't want to turn the radio down? >> No, I won't. >> Cuz I was hoping to have a conversation with you. >> I don't want to talk. I don't want to >> What's that? >> There's nothing to talk about. >> All right, well do me a favor and shut the vehicle off. I'm giving you a lawful order to shut the vehicle off. Okay, then I'm going to give you a lawful order to step out of the vehicle. Absolutely not. Don't do that. >> this to me. You got to stop doing this to me all the time. >> Okay, calm down and listen to me. >> I will leave right now. You got >> You will not leave. You will not leave. Listen to me. Listen, my supervisor is right there and you can speak to him when you get out of the car. >> I'm not getting out of the vehicle. >> Listen to me. >> There's no reason. It's harassment, plain and simple. >> Listen to me. >> I'm tired of this [ __ ] >> Listen to me. >> No, sir. I'm not listening to you guys anymore. Y'all ruined my life. >> You're going down a road you don't want to go down. >> I'm going to go down the road that we're on. >> And you're going to go to jail. >> I will then. I'm not doing this, sir. >> You're going to go to jail. >> I'm not getting out of the >> Shut the vehicle off and step out. >> Can I talk to your supervisor? >> When you shut the vehicle off and get out, you absolutely can. >> My supervisor is right here. He's right here. I need to speak to him. What's your badge number and I need to know I need to know the reason for the stop. >> I'm giving you a lawful order to exit the vehicle. >> I need to know why you're asking me to exit. >> Because I'm legally allowed to on any traffic stop and that's what I'm doing. Yes, I absolutely am. On any traffic stop, I'm legally allowed to make you get out and I'm going to. Get out of the vehicle now. You're going to go down a road you don't want to go down. My supervisor is right there and you can speak to him when you get out of the car. Get out of the car because now you're resisting, so now you can go to jail for that. You're refusing a lawful order. You're refusing a lawful order. If you put that car in drive, you're going to [ __ ] jail. But you can speak to him when you get out. >> getting out. >> You are getting out. You're getting out the car. >> I need to I need to call the police. >> You need to call the police? There's four cops here. >> I'm calling the police cuz you guys aren't them. I did nothing wrong this first time. >> Step out of the vehicle. >> I'm going to leave, sir. >> Step out of the vehicle. You are not going to leave. Step out of the vehicle. >> You guys are stripping me of my rights like you do every time. >> Step out of the vehicle. >> Sir, I got a taillight. >> Step out of the car. >> I'm not getting out for this. I got to speak to your supervisor. >> Step out of the car. >> I want to speak to him personally. >> This is going to go really bad for you. You need to step out. Yes. Yes. >> No. No. No. >> Yes. Yes. Yes. You have his driver's license or something? Okay, cool. >> I have my driver's license. I want to speak to your supervisor, man. >> You want to talk to him before I get him out of the car? >> I need to speak to your supervisor. >> My supervisor is coming up right now. Shut the vehicle off. >> No, sir. I want to speak to >> So, that's two lawful orders you're refusing. I am lawfully ordering you. That's two that you're ignoring. >> This is not how this works, man. >> This is absolutely how it works. He was asking you Listen, I told him Can I Can I talk? All right, look. All right, look. The reason he was asked to turn the vehicle off is cuz we're going to do the canine sniff of the vehicle, okay? He was because that's what we're So, we're going to do. He was asked to turn the car off for that reason. >> The only reason for it is for a taillight that I got a warning for already. This is unfair. >> And it's still not fixed. >> Sir, it's it's been for 2 days. I don't have a job. >> So, why why are you refusing to cooperate? >> Cuz you guys do this to me every week nearby. >> I've never even seen you, so I've never done this to you. Like, do you recognize me? >> Yeah. >> [ __ ] Never met you before. Okay. That's fine. I don't care about your marijuana. >> I need to speak to your supervisor, too. >> My supervisor is not here, so we're not we're not going down that road. No, you need to shut the vehicle off and get out. >> I'm not listening to you. You're a tyrant, bro. >> I'm a tyrant. Okay. Okay. >> I'm not using my power to assist you. I wasn't even going to ask you out of the car until you refused to shut it off. That's the only reason I'm even trying to get you out cuz you won't shut it off. So shut the vehicle off. Then get out of the car. Okay, that's two law enforcement you're refusing. You're now going to jail tonight. We are the police officers. You're in the county. This Who Who are you going to call? We're here. Why don't you just cooperate? Why are you making this so difficult? You have to obey lawful orders. You have to obey lawful orders. If you feel like I'm not giving you the right order, you can file a complaint on me later. You can file one when we're done. You can get all that when you shut the vehicle off and get out of the car. You're not going to drive away on me. If you drive away on me, you're going to jail. If you want to talk and calm down and have a conversation outside of the vehicle, we can handle it that way. But if you want to continue down this path, you're going to go to jail. He is. He is the sergeant. He is the highest authority in the county right now. Okay. Right. And that's what I'm trying to do here, but you won't even get out of the car. Right. I'm giving you a lawful order to get out, so you have to comply with the lawful order. Yes. You just said you didn't go to jail the other night. You got out of your car and drove away. You have no idea who I am. You've never met me before. I absolutely did not. I asked you to turn the music down to speak to me. Right. So, I don't say I attacked you when I walked to the window. Don't lie about me. After you were already aggressive with me, I said you're going down a road you don't want to go. Because you're you're you're not complying to us. You are not cooperating now. Cuz you refused to turn the car off. So, we can walk the dog around your vehicle. Then if you want to leave the vehicle, then that's fine, but you're still getting out of it. Yes, you are. I wasn't going to put you in handcuffs. I would I'm not asking you to search your vehicle. I'm asking you to exit, and I wasn't going to put you in handcuffs. But, this is where you're escalating it to. No, you are very much escalating this. Outside of the vehicle, you can. You will get out of the vehicle. That's what you're pushing me towards, and I'm trying not to go down that road with you. You're right, there's no reason to. You can step out of the vehicle like I lawfully ordered you to. No, it is not incorrect. I promise you I do this for a living. I do it every night. I am. So, what's the right thing to do? Right thing to do is listen to what the man is saying. But, you didn't comply to anything that he asked you to do beforehand. No, you did. You didn't tell me that, and then I asked you to step out, which you refused to do, and you refused multiple times now. Right, because you're refusing lawful orders. I am, because you're refusing lawful [ __ ] orders. That's why. They I don't care if they're fair, they're lawful. They are, and you're going to find out when you end up in jail because of this. No, I am not. I'm not abusing my powers. There are four officers out here. Take your seatbelt off. Get out of the vehicle. I'm telling you right now. And you've also already threatened to drive away from the scene multiple times. Get out of the vehicle. Get out of the vehicle. I never said I was going to search you. No, I didn't. Yeah, absolutely. I never once said I was going to search you or put you in handcuffs. I asked you to get out. Because you're lying about me and I have you on camera. You absolutely are. I never once said I was going to search you. You want to try to see if you can talk to him? I'm really trying not to break his window and yank him out of the car, but I'm going to. No, it's not. I really don't want to go down this road, but now he's threatening to drive away. Extremely hostile and when I all I did was ask him to roll his or turn his music down. Do you want Do you want me to position my truck in front of him so he can't back out? Just put a car in front of his. Just the two of us. We're going to have to really box him in though, otherwise he's going to ram something. I'm going to bring yours out front. I'll pinch the back of his. We can do that while he's talking to him. Yeah, when he does. I'll let you pull around first and then I'll I'll get up of the car cuz I don't want to spook him and get him out of the Hold on this boy you're resisting arrest. You're you're you're resisting. >> So I'm under arrest? You never said that. >> Okay you are now. You're under arrest for resisting my multiple lawful commands. You have You have and now I'm lawfully telling you that you're under arrest. I need you to shut the vehicle off and exit. What's that? Let me to go ahead. I need a sergeant. Say yes. Back up back up BACK UP BACK UP. BACK UP BACK UP. >> OH DAMN IT. >> LET'S GO FIND HIM. WHY DON'T WE have his ID? >> It's a charger. There's no reason to go chasing after him. We're going to lose the dope. I guarantee there's dope in the car, but I mean we can't go 10-31 on that. He didn't intentionally try to ram us, so we just forwarded on it. I'm going to drive that way to see if he's around, but Oh, yeah. Do you have his address? Should've tried this. You pop the bottom corner on the older cars like that and it usually shatters right away. Yeah, he's still going to do what he's going to do. I'm going to mute this cuz apparently everybody's going to talk crap. Just [ __ ] broke my window. >> Officers would locate his address, take a short drive, and knock to see if anyone's home. >> Sheriff's office. Means don't run. Come up talk to these people. I saw you peeking through the blinds. Step out. >> What's his name again? >> Jacob. Sheriff's office. Hey. He needs to turn himself in ASAP. He just ran from us. We have his ID if he gave to us. He is going to jail. He needs to turn himself in immediately. Authoritative music. Yeah, he's about to catch a warrant for his arrest for multiple felonies. We We need him to turn himself in immediately. If you can make contact with him and advise him to do so without harm to himself cuz he he almost got himself hurt real bad. >> Can you call him? >> I can try to call him. >> I would recommend it. Sorry, we'll show up here tomorrow and we'll tow his car. Involved in a felony. I hope he likes his car cuz he's not getting it back. As soon as we find that [ __ ] it's getting towed. >> So I'll try for his number. >> Okay. >> But just just Where is he? >> that I'm trying to reach. >> Where does he Where does he frequent? >> All I know he just goes to a place like that. I don't really know. >> Yeah. >> Okay. He's got to be somewhere else. Someone's house that he goes to. >> He almost hit several of us. He was borderline about to get shot because of what he did to us. It's extremely serious. His car's getting towed. He's being arrested for multiple felonies. The dope that he had in his car that he threw, I'mma find some way to charge him for that [ __ ] too. Sorry to bother you. Have a good night. >> There's office. Is Jacob home? >> Yeah, he is. >> Can we borrow him? >> Don't come out. >> We're We're going to go in and get him. >> The inside of the house is redacted per Florida law, but officers would follow the father inside the house with the police report stating they made contact with the dad who advised Jacob was home. They would go on to follow the father inside the house to retrieve Jacob on the warrant with Jacob ultimately refusing multiple lawful commands to lay on the ground. They would go on to place Jacob on the bed and he started to roll around to try and get away from being handcuffed. was rolling around, they ended up on the floor adjacent to the bed [music] and while attempting to gain control of Jacob on the ground, he would continue to roll around and resist. Jacob would begin grabbing at Deputy F's face, cutting the back of his neck and his wrist with his fingernails in the process. Deputy F would go on to strike Jacob numerous times until another deputy would pull out his agency issued taser and discharge it in order to gain compliance of Jacob. Together they were able to gain control, but Jacob continued to be uncompliant during the walk back to the vehicle. >> What my face up like that, bro?
