don't need that in my face it's not in your face yeah it's actually on my crotch I don't need there either I'm don't tell me how to do my job all right let me see your registration and insurance I actually don't need any of this right now thank you just wait in the vehicle what is this is this both you can read so where's your insurance it's there and what were you doing parked over there I was on the phone you're on the phone yeah okay you want me to drive and be on the phone or or what what's that you want me be driving and be on phone where are you staying I don't take it business okay when did you get into town a couple days ago all right just to let you know there is no lodging in your vehicle in Key West okay do you have a another um registration or insurance card that's not expired no I no I've I just left okay so are you aware that the vehicle is expired has an expired registration no uh I have to I have to go back to Canada and get grab another one until all okay but did you know was expired is what I'm asking uh no okay what about your insurance no do you have an app maybe that you can pull it up on the card you gave me it's expired oh no I don't you don't have an app okay no enough for me this is hello Okay so your car registration is expired by over 2 years okay and my registation correct and you don't have insurance okay the insurance I could probably just give you a ticket and let you're go in the registration however is a problem okay you cannot drive an unregistered vehicle on the roads or Shore okay well I can leave okay then you'd be driving right yeah we I have to go back to Canada so I know you have to go back I'm not keeping you you're not under arrest yeah but I have to have your vehicle CH uh no no no I can't I well no I'm I'm informing you no I but I don't have like this is such an inconvenience I literally was just sitting there no but I was literally just using my phone I I'll just drive away I don't really need this right now you guys I can't let you drive well can can't you just look the other way no well how like can you not look the other way I I need to I can leave I'm sorry I'll leave I didn't know it was I didn't know it was I didn't know I didn't renew it I can't let you drive an unregistered vehicle okay if you drive an unregistered vehicle that I'm aware of and you get hurt on the roads of Florida then it's my fault for letting you do that okay indirectly so and on its own Merit it's against the law so okay well I don't have money to have it taken out of like like I was to I don't have money for that so this is why it's an inconvenience oh listen I know it's an inconvenience can you just like let me go by like let me pass I cannot let you drive on the roads of Florida well then I'll leave Florida like I'll leave like but but that means you would have to drive away yes I know and you can't do that I don't have money to pay for towing like I'm not trying to be here homeless on the street and that's what you want me to do you want me to be no I don't have money to get paid for toy how'd you get all the way down here from Canada I drove okay so you had money to get down here yeah well I was you've got money to get back no I actually don't okay so get back well my my mom was going to send me some money anyway doesn't matter this is my personal situation but I'm not trying to be homeless out here I need to Canada Samantha I understand you have to go back to Canada be so loud you you're trying to talk over it don't okay this car is going to be towed you are able to get whatever you need out of it okay and we'll give you ample time to do that but it's going to be no I can't have it told okay well I'm informing you that it's to can you just please like let me just go and I'm sure I already explained to you several times unfortunately not okay so you can start getting things out whatever you need out if there's anything of value in there that you can't like have with you please let me know about it I'll annotate it on the inventory sheet I'm going to step back to my vehicle take all directions from officer h I have my ID he's going to get all that back okay he asked you to go ahead and start collecting some of your belongings do you have belongings in there that you'd like to take out just have a minute please I just need to have a minute cuz I got to send you have like where am I supposed to go like I don't know why you guys are doing this to me like where where am I supposed to go so it's Samantha right yeah I samtha we're not doing this to you okay you're an adult you haven't registered your vehicle in 2 years no actually I hasn't been that long I literally 2022 from what he told me we're coming up to 2024 well what no it's only been a year it's probably like just over a year okay anyway it doesn't matter 6 months more than 6 months is okay well I'm sorry I I left the country and I didn't even look at my registration I just left did you guys look at the notes like I've been stopped like notes in your system I've been stopped numerous times like since coming down here okay and you haven't fixed it no I'm not talking about my registration I was in Toronto I was actually in Toronto helping the police out there with their situation their their human trafficking situation and I had to leave look at your notes on in the system that's not going to show us what T is doing well no it's not I'm just saying like I left the country for a reason I didn't bother to check my registration when I left okay that doesn't come up in notes well don't we have notes in the system like I've been stopped numerous times but okay but not all of our systems are connected to an extent they are if this vehicle would came back and stolen I'm saying but if the vehicle was registered if it was stolen and it was entered into the system that we would show but you being pulled over by another agency doesn't so if you had a Florida driver's license we could look up the history on your Florida driver's license but I don't know what state I'm assuming it's out of Canada where your driver's license is from so that system is different than ours we don't have access to find out how many times you've been stopped up there so what it is in the State of Florida after 6 months is when it becomes more than just a non-moving traffic violation now do you have belongings inside the vehicle that you would like to take you know what I need to I need to make a phone call I need to make a phone call okay so you I have my ID back though and my my stuff no you can step out of the car if you want to make a phone call you can step out of the car and I'll allow you to make a phone call but like I said you're given the opportunity right now to collect some belongings okay fck no you're not going to turn the car on actually I am okay turn the car off stop no stop get out of the car are you [ __ ] get out of the car are you stay here holy [ __ ] all right she just tried to drive away so for what reason the one you make phone call so you decided to turn your car on and hit the gas like trying to drive away it's not okay I don't know how this works in Canada but that it's not how it works down here just made a bad situation worse for no reason no you already just Tred to get away from us no like literally you have handcuffs on me and you don't have to hold my arm St TR to tell m control of you why are you guys being you're not calling the shots right now because you tried to flee yeah well cuz you guys are horrible like literally you're taking me off come up 70 put your belly or put your torso up against the you need her is that for yeah uh negative it's not a signal one okay do you have anything illegal on your person do you have any weapons any drugs no okay you go with her to go in the back like l this is so unnecessary I've never been arrest in my life this is so bizarre you should not have just tried to drive away well I thought it was a good idea it's a terrible idea have a seat sit back like what going on as as soon as she turned the car on I'm like what are you doing so I started to open the door as soon as I open the door she hit the gas on it like she was trying to drive away I'm going offline be disgusted Samantha is there anything in your vehicle that you need that you want to go to jail with you your phone yeah okay where's it where's it at is it like easily visible yeah and my car keys okay so the key to the car is going to stay with the car but any other keys I'll grab those what else gra my cell phone cell phone Keys yeah I just my cell phone so just cell phone Keys cell phone yeah you don't have like a purse wallet no okay cell phone I'm and what no just my cell phone okay is there a cell phone right there it's on the passenger huh it's on the passenger seat I don't know if this thing is in going to turn it off I think it it's it's in dry what no it's it says D1 or is it in par here I think when she sat down she changed it to [Applause] drive well because I open the door let's just turn off that way it's definitely not going to go in no now it's in park okay so it put itself in park great yeah I think because the door was open it's one of the smart features it would have let it dry well lucky lucky for her right she said she didn't have a wallet here's a wallet I'm taking her wallet with her too did she tell you that she was working with Toronto police department which trafficking like something about trafficking human no I think she's a little signal 20 there's a prescription here rise spadone what stay on it just says take one tablet twice daily no I mean what what it say on the it's a little red pill oblong like um like a Tic Tac except red and smaller um put on the uh like Google the it's not coming up I just tried to use a pillidentifier on it and nothing came up well something did but this medication here do you do you need that go with you uh no and um no so this is your passport and this is your wall there's some money in there so I don't want to leave that in there and then some glasses oh no no no no no no all that can be back in my car and um my phone and I also can you also grab me my my jacket in the back seat so so let me get this straight I follow my phone yeah my ID you want me to leave your your purse has money in it no that's no that's fine okay so because there has money in it I'm going to take it with you they'll give it back to you because well I'm just just taking it with you and your passport too just cuz that's not my passport yeah it is no that's my friends oh you're right and you definitely don't want these pills no so it's funny when I first opened this up I kind of looked like her just had a glance cuz it's I just cuz I'm tired but that's somebody else's yeah that's strange said it's her friends H why she possession I know this passport that seems weird right a nice look okay we definitely put that in inventory mhm and these glasses Sunglasses I don't know what they are but and she said she doesn't want her wallet but I'm taking it anyway cuz that's money in it I don't want to leave money in it in here yeah don't and she said she doesn't want the pills I asked her a few times subcribe to her yeah what are they though IDE sub we can't just leave them in the cor um Google this for me real quick rer paradon it's a anticho it can treat schizophrenia bipolar disorder and irritable irritability caused by autism explains a lot so I'm definitely going to take those they yeah I mean they'll take the Nerf yeah we'll take it okay Samantha so this is a citation for having your registration expired more than 6 months okay so there's some options on the back here you can uh pay it you can go to court on it okay you have 30 days to decide in which direction we're to go all the all the options are right here okay okay [Music] so um this is going to go into your property okay so this is yours and it's going to be in your property okay do you have any questions on this no not right now okay so for the feather to stop at a stop sign I'm just giving you a verbal warning for that even though I could give you a ticket I'm not going to for the insurance I can give you a ticket for that as well I'm not going to so I'm going to give you a veral on that okay so when you get out when you get your car call your insurance company and get all that taken care of okay okay any questions no all right any direction
