welcome back to the body cam Zone on March 1st 2022 Sheriff Smith of Franklin County Sheriff's Office went on a raid with his deputies at a trailer used by an alleged drug dealer whose name is Zachary coatney major culture also responded to the incident The Raid was done due to many complaints regarding drug deals in the area as someone commented earlier that day the police had sent a confidential informant on a recorded sting to purchase methamphetamine from coatney at the trailer coatney didn't have any meth to sell but one of his female friends Christy glass had so the confidential informant purchased 0.5 grams of the drug from her based on the previous complaints and the evidence they now had the sheriff and his deputies raided the trailer to arrest its occupants Courtney feigned ignorance of the crime but the sheriff was determined to prove him wrong before we continue let me thank active police cam for sharing this video on their YouTube channel everybody sure what you got in the pockets what's your name all right just turn around good job that's my mom 's shoes for locals and if they don't have anything then yeah yeah okay let's go it's like a hundred they're a problem leave all the time to go call us we'll run them off instead you're selling drugs up here but if I call that's what it looks like it is we got you for two counts of selling methamphetamine hide and watch baby everybody can see you you can be a smart ass all you want what's your name we're tired of it go live somewhere else go do your [ __ ] somewhere else don't do it Courtney and his female friend violated multiple Florida Statutes the first one is section 831.31 which states it's unlawful for any person to sell manufacture or deliver or to possess with intent to sell manufacture or deliver a counterfeit controlled substance if methamphetamine is the drug involved as in this case violation of this statute is a felony of the third degree in addition under Section 893.13 a person may not be in actual or constructive possession of a controlled substance unless such controlled substance was lawfully obtained from a practitioner or pursuant to a valid prescription or order of a practitioner while acting in the course of his or her professional practice or to be an actual or constructive possession of a controlled substance except as otherwise authorized by the chapter violation of this statute is a felony of the third degree a Woman by the name of Haley Lemieux was also found at the trailer when the deputies searched her body they didn't find anything incriminating based on that the sheriff told her to leave the scene but she requested to take her backpack which was inside the trailer some drugs which the officers couldn't immediately identify were later found in the bag Lemieux was arrested the drugs were later found to be Gabapentin cyclobenzaprine and Trazodone no meth was found in the backpack she let her hand it to you there's all kind of dope in there I'm looking it before you get it you got anything in here tell me now I mean not that I know of oh wait a minute yes or no questions let's see what we got right there okay she's going to jail Sheriff that myth Haley I already ran her for 29. 31 Franklin go ahead that female subject got ran she's going to be 10 15. leave my house alone oh you got anything else in the bag just feel me now there are needles in this bag [Applause] and a cigarette pack and after it's on this one all right anything else in that bag you want to go ahead and give it up anything on you at all that's gonna be another charge if you go in that jail now there's another anything inside your cavity area no no all right yeah that'd be fine [Music] we ain't looked at the rest of stuff in there that we thought it looked like a knot of it but it wasn't Point through looking here it's just had something in it turned purple there ain't nothing left of it just residue what about all the types of stuff that were in there you see all that stuff laying around there feels up and I don't know what no I gotta look them up I don't know what they are two different kinds in there I don't know what the hell they are same thing same thing is in there they had one of the same I don't think these are pink I might be telling them what's on that number on that that little round one five six five eight yeah this is uh all right well I'm gonna test deposit from there all right so we're gonna take her position the mat and I don't know whose pills or whose because they tore the name off of them Lemieux claimed the drugs were prescribed to her for her legs spills what are these three possessing or any of these narcotics that are in these any of these pill bottles but I'm gonna look them up I was wondering what they was up what they was foreign [Music] it seemed she was able to prove her claim as someone commented that the charge against her was dropped while Courtney was being taken into custody Sheriff Smith and major Coulter claimed that they observed drug paraphernalia in plain view coatney got five criminal charges which include keeping public nuisance structure for drug activity sale or possession of dangerous drugs sale of Controlled Substances within a thousand feet of a worship center school or business possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine shockingly someone commented that the case prosecutor Jared H Patterson dropped all the charges also Courtney's friend Christy glass was arrested however the same prosecutor dropped the charge of sale of controlled substance which was brought against her if that comment is true it seems Sheriff Smith will be having more work to do in his County well that's all concerning this video thanks for watching
