Let's observe the footage captured by a police helicopter. This red SUV, after blocking a silver SUV, had a young man jump out shouting, "If you're scared, go home." He then climbed onto the silver car and threw two people out. The scene feels familiar, like I've seen it somewhere before. Could it be right here? Not far to go now, right? Today, we'll dive into a thrilling police chase in the US with a thief, seemingly living out a real life GTA game. Let's see how the outcome unfolds for this reckless young man who has more guts than brains. 5 minutes before the video begins, a woman at a gas station forgot to close her car door and didn't take the keys with her. Thus, a car thief randomly targeted her red SUV, jumped in, and sped away. But this isn't the most pressing issue. Losing the car is one thing. Calling the police is another. The problem is her four-year-old son is still sitting in the back seat. This left the owner extremely worried, prompting her to call the local police. A helicopter was quickly dispatched to track the red SUV. The vehicle is now on the highway and the helicopter immediately spotted and chased after it. The chase occurred during morning rush hour on the highway near Denver, Colorado, USA. Being a highway during peak hours means there are a lot of cars on the road. Still, there's no sign of police vehicles yet. They might be on their way to the suspect's escape route, which is the right exit off the highway. The suspect turned toward the exit, now driving on the connector road in Colorado. Winter has arrived, making it easy to see snow piles along the road. At this time, after leaving the mountain road, the suspect drove into the city. He just blew through the traffic light without stopping. The police still haven't arrived and the other cars are puzzled about what's happening. As for the red SUV, they must be wondering why it just sped up. It just cut off other cars and even swerved into oncoming traffic. Perhaps it's because the lane was getting crowded, prompting the thief to speed up. The only option left was to weave through lanes. It's truly reckless. The vehicle continues to speed and shows no signs of slowing down. Ahead, there's an intersection with a red light. Yet, he accelerates, ready to run it. Next comes a T intersection, and he keeps speeding, taking a left turn. Luckily, the pickup truck in front slowed down just in time before the turn. It seems this driver is very experienced. Otherwise, they'd say the driving profession is tough. Now, the vehicle has reached a roundabout. This intersection has two exits and the suspect chooses to turn right. To the right is likely a private parking lot. The suspect decides to drive straight ahead and leaves the road. He drives onto the grass that connects to the opposite road. He must want to go straight through this area. From the grass, he drives straight onto the road. And indeed, he has done so. He is merging onto the main road. After re-entering the main road, the suspect continues to accelerate and flee. Now he is merging into the inner lane, the emergency lane on the right side. Today's chase is just like real life GTA. The suspect seems to have completed his mission. This is still the highway and there is an exit here, but the suspect does not drive towards it. Instead, he continues to choose to drive on the highway. Ahead is an exit from the highway. This time the suspect chooses to turn right. He opts to drive to this exit. It seems he is not a local as there appears to be no clear destination based on his speed. The police have no idea where to set up a roadb block. They truly seem more lost than an owl. At this point, a dramatic scene is about to unfold. The suspect being chased is about to make a decision, leading to a situation that only occurs in GTA games. First, he cuts in front and blocks a silver SUV. He rushes in, opens the driver's door, and pulls the driver out after a struggle. He has successfully thrown both people out of the vehicle. He wants to steal this silver SUV. Because his previous car was nearly out of gas after taking the silver SUV, the suspect immediately bypasses the barricade and drives back onto the road. But now he is driving against traffic. It can be seen very clearly. Other vehicles are on the road and they are surely shouting as they go by. It's another bad purchase. Now the helicopter zooms in. This is the highway. The suspect's vehicle suddenly shakes. Perhaps he hasn't gotten used to this car's steering system. Finally, a police car has caught up with him. No, not one, but two cars. The suspect goes around the barricade using the trees to temporarily escape. Now the car is still speeding. His behavior is becoming more reckless. Ahead, police cars are ready to use spike strips to blow out tires. Immediately they throw them, but it seems the throw was weak. Plus, the road is crowded. And the suspect is also very cunning, swerving into the outermost right lane, avoiding two spike strips in succession. He is still driving against traffic. The police have not yet caught up, but surely they are not far behind. The helicopter zooms in again. Ahead is an intersection. The suspect turns left, nearly colliding with another vehicle. He continues turning left into the highway exit. Continue to turn right. After turning right, finally, he drove into the same direction lane while driving here. A police car finally accelerated and caught up with the suspect. Colorado State Police were right behind him. Now the two vehicles were not far apart, but there was still a warning sign about 50 m ahead. What was the warning? It turned out there was a railroad crossing. They had just passed through this intersection. There was a large intersection here. The suspect turned left and entered the wrong lane. He continued driving against traffic while other vehicles quickly slowed down and yielded. After such a stretch of driving against traffic, the suspect passed through the bypass. Driving in the normal lane, he probably realized that driving against traffic was very dangerous and it wouldn't be much faster anyway, so it was best to just drive in the normal lane. Indeed, there were more and more vehicles coming towards him in the wrong lane. While on this side, there were relatively few cars in the same direction while chasing here. The police car had finally narrowed the gap to 10 m with some surrounding vehicles moving parallel. Up ahead, a car changed lanes to the left and rushed against the police vehicle. So, the distance between the two cars widened again. Suddenly, there were more cars on the road while chasing. The suspect had overtaken other vehicles by entering this lane. Then, he darted into another lane, simply zigzagging and not stopping. There was a police car lying in wait for him at the intersection ahead. They set up spike strips, but before the police could deploy them, he turned left again. The officer's device seemed to be thrown a bit late, allowing the suspect to escape and continue speeding through. In the emergency lane, the police faced a problem that was not knowing how to make him stop. His speed was very high, often maintaining above 160 kmh. And there were no toll booths on these roads, so it was very convenient for fleeing. Not to mention, he could switch routes continuously. Therefore, only blowing out his tires would be the best method at this time. The previous scene flashed by very easily missed. Let's go back and watch it in slow motion. After trying to avoid a white car, he crashed into a person by the roadside. And that person was a state trooper. Very fortunately for him, this officer was not life-threatening, just suffered a broken leg. This time, his crime was serious as it was classified as attempted murder. But it didn't work out. Now he was leaving the highway. He got out of the car. Then it seemed he wanted to abandon the vehicle after some hesitation. He got back into the car and continued his escape. From this angle, it seemed his tires were having issues, so he was looking to switch to another vehicle. After fleeing for a while, he probably found his target. Next, he directly rammed into a white car to cause an accident. The owner of that car probably had no idea what was happening. Slow down, pull over, perhaps to request compensation, and that was certainly not the wisest decision she ever made. The suspect immediately opened the door. He dragged her out of the car and continued his escape. This was the third vehicle he had stolen in just a few minutes. This young man had probably played GTA for over 180 minutes. After a long chase, he seemed to be getting tired. His driving had lost confidence and became quite frantic. Finally, his day of reckoning had come. A police car approached as he reached the intersection. He stepped on the gas and collided with two other vehicles on the road. Realizing his car was damaged, he immediately opened the door and ran out. He wanted to steal the black car. However, the police car was right behind him, forcing him to flee. This time, he switched to running on foot from three gasoline powered vehicles. Now, he was running on his own two legs. This situation was reminiscent of the young men before and after each Euro season or the World Cup, right? He ran into a residential area with quite a few houses. Aiming to escape the police's control, but little did he know. A helicopter had been following him closely all along. Unaware of this, he remained quite stubborn. He even threw away his outer jacket to run faster. However, the game was about to come to an end. Ahead was a fence. He used all his strength to climb over it. But due to the excessive exertion during the chase, he was left powerless and surrendered, especially upon seeing three officers approaching. So finally, the pursuit lasted for a full 90 minutes over a distance of 120 km passing through five different districts. It ended with a victory in favor of the police. The suspect was identified as Ryan Stone, 28 years old, a young man who walked the earth after being tried in court. He blamed all of this on drug use, claiming he didn't remember what he did that day. In response, the judge stated that addicts live with deep emotions, unlike him. The prosecutor then presented a recording of a girl visiting Ryan in prison. He bragged to her about how proud he was of escaping the police pursuit. This recording also revealed the true reason behind Ryan's actions. He wanted to do something to attract attention, to become famous, and to make money. In the end, he not only failed to make money, but also faced numerous charges. Among which were three major charges, including first-degree assault, child abuse, and attempted murder. In total, he was sentenced to 165 years in prison. You're not mistaken. It's 165 years. At the time of the trial, Ryan Stone was just 28 years old. That means for the rest of his life. Surely, he will get state food. The prosecutor also mentioned Ryan. He may be considered for parole after 75 more years when he is 103 years old. If he eats well, lives moderately, and exercises regularly in prison, who knows, he might still be able to reintegrate into society for the rest of his life. And after watching this video, what do you think of the dramatic chase we just saw? And how do you feel about the guy named Ryan Stone? Please leave your thoughts in the comments.
