An officer pulls over a driver and quickly discovers his license is suspended, but that's only the beginning. Now, if you have insurance now, I don't know, but they had they suspended it in July, okay? So, with that being said, I'm not taking you to jail. I'm just giving you a a court date, a criminal citation, okay? All right, so you have a citation for license being suspended, having your license while being suspended, the registration and insurance, okay? Now, I'm going to explain to you you're going to have a court date. Fix all that, get your license reinstated, get your insurance, get your registration, bring it to court, and if you get all that and bring it to court, most likely the judge will throw it out. Most likely. I can't tell you they will, but it's a possibility if you come with everything all good, okay? So, with that being said, I just need you to sign here what you signed that a minute ago. And then he started walking to the car and I grabbed him and he pulled away. And then he and I'm trying to grab him. He wouldn't hand me the hand back so he went like that to me. I said, "Hold." Our rescue is going to check you out. >> What happened? >> Uh he just had to sign some citation and then he decided to fight. So, we were here on the floor having a little scuffle. >> Is he complaining about anything? >> As of right now, but no. We just need to get him checked out in case he says something after. What you complaining about uh his rib now? >> Okay. >> As a result of his actions, the 52-year-old man was given five charges. Two counts of resisting an officer without violence, one count of battery on a law enforcement officer, one count of driving while license is suspended, and lastly, possession of a driver's license while having your license suspended. The last three charges, battery on a law enforcement officer and the two driver's license charges were eventually dropped, but the two counts of resisting an officer without violence, the man was adjudicated guilty on these two counts.
