I PROBABLY SET IT SOMEWHERE. Hang on. wallet Let's window back up. We're messing with her stuff now. Uh I'll help you work on some of this. >> There were three women at the scene, but only one of them would ultimately face all of the charges. And if you guessed it, it was the 29-year-old driver. She ended up receiving a total of seven charges. Here are those charges, starting from the least serious and moving up to the most serious, with charges number one and two carrying the harshest consequences. Charge seven was speeding, which prosecutors later dropped. Charge six was giving a false name to law enforcement. She was adjudicated guilty and sentenced to 60 days of confinement. Charge five was obstruction of an officer. She was also found guilty of this charge and received another 60 days of confinement. Charge four was possession of methamphetamine. She was found guilty and sentenced to 3 years of probation. Charge three was possession of more than 1 oz of marijuana. Prosecutors later dropped this charge and instead adjudicated her guilty on the more serious charge number two, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. She was found guilty on that charge and sentenced to 15 years with the first five years to be served in state prison. Then came charge number one, the most serious offense of them all. She was adjudicated guilty of trafficking in illegal drugs. For that charge, she received a total sentence of 20 years with the first five years to be served in state prison and the remaining 15 years on probation. She was also ordered to pay a $50,000 fine. It's important to understand that all of these sentences were running concurrently. So, when everything was combined, she received a total 20-year sentence with five years in state prison followed by 15 years on probation. She would later mention that she had recently been released from prison. It's also important to note that this case took place in the state of Georgia where certain offenses can carry much more severe penalties as we can clearly see here. This was also the result of a negotiated plea deal with all of the charges running concurrently. As always, let me know your honest thoughts on this case in the comments below. Stay safe out there and I'll see you in the next video. >> NO, THAT'S NOT MINE. NO. GODDAMMIT. I'M TALKING. WAIT, THAT'S NOT MINE. >> DETAIN EVERYBODY. >> CAN I LEAVE? >> NO. >> I'M NOT TALKING. CAMERA, one of those I don't know what you're talking about. >> Sorry. I don't know what you're talking about. Please let me go. >> I'm not going to advise you. >> Sorry, IT'S NOT MINE. PLEASE LET ME HAVE to talk to somebody. I promise. Please, listen to me. IT'S NOT MY STUFF. NO, WAIT. I HAVE TO TALK ON MY PHONE. I HAVE TO GET SOMEBODY TO COME AND GET US.
