This is This is >> We didn't have to go this way. >> Y'all did. Y'all chose this route. God don't like ugly. >> We've been trying to work with you. >> you weren't. >> But you're obstructing us and preventing us from doing our job. >> don't like ugly, but I'mma show you better. I'mma call my lawyer. Don't worry. >> It's all right. >> I'mma call her. >> Maybe Maybe Maybe your lawyer will be more sensible in answering questions for us. >> Cuz I ain't got to answer to nobody. Watch your feet. >> I ain't got no warrants. >> Watch your foot. >> And you ain't got no reason >> Here's your uh >> You get a return on that Sunday. >> Here's the phone. I'll go get their information. >> Okay. >> Sorry about that. >> That's okay. >> So, all we were trying to do is identify her so we could give her the proper trespass. She wanted to obstruct, so that's why we had to take her into forceful custody cuz she kept trying to obstruct us and get away from us. So, if any of your customers complain, refer them to me. I'll explain. Hopefully, they don't >> Most of them are angry. >> blame you for it. Uh you can refer them to me. Did Did that other officer Did he have chance to get your name? >> No. >> Okay. Okay. So, she came in uh >> They They called me over the deli. She went over there first. >> Okay. >> Um the teammates told me that she put her hands on them and were yelling at them. >> Okay. >> So, she did de-escalate it. I finally tried to get her to check out and just leave. She kept yelling. She said she wanted to check out up here, so I escorted her. We stopped at floral. I tried to check her out there. Then she said she'd pay for it. I didn't even care about the ticket. I just wanted her to leave. >> Okay. >> And she just kept yelling. She came back over here, started yelling at teammates again. I came back over here. That's when I told them over here to call the police. Just have her removed. >> Okay. >> I gave her every opportunity to pay for it and leave. >> So, she made physical contact with some of your employees? >> Supposedly over in the deli. I haven't been able to verify it. >> Okay. Uh do you have camera footage? >> Probably. >> Uh that we could review. I'm Do they want to press charges for battery or do they just want her gone? >> She's going to get a charge soon. I got to charge her with >> The only reason I ask on the battery is cuz we then we just got to get some more people's information. Not a big deal. >> I mean I >> Okay. Sometimes people don't want to go to court, and I understand that. Um she warranted a court and obstructing charge with us if she would have just given us her name so we could have trespassed her like you requested. But >> We tried She's obviously intoxicated as well, and >> I I >> I smell it at least. >> I at least smell it. I don't know how >> It was back and forth in kind of a biological conversation, so >> Hello. >> Did you need >> to me? >> Yeah. I guess did you have a Did she situation with the young lady here in black? >> to bring you back to talk to you about >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> Um yes. So, she came out and was mad with another worker about Styrofoam plates. We don't have any. But they've been out for over 3 hours. So, when she got here, they already weren't there. She was mad saying that the girl that she was mad at went back there and started talking about her. But she went back there to tell everybody else we don't have any plates. So, when I heard she was cussing, I came around and she was in my face talking of like saying [ __ ] you and you [ __ ] up and I'm coming for you all that. And so, I told her we haven't had any Styrofoam plates for a while. And she got in my face and said, "No, I got the last one. You remember I got the last one." I said, "Okay, whatever, you know." I know she didn't, so I'm not going to argue. And when she got in my face, that's when I smelled her breath. And I know she Yeah. And that's when she like shoved me and she She didn't do it hard, but she Don't touch me. >> Did she kind of do like this or >> like a Well, you don't know. >> Okay. >> It wasn't like a attack, but it was don't touch me, please. >> Okay. >> And so, that's when she kept getting more mad and I could tell it wasn't going to like get fixed and I kept telling her it's all well and she goes, "I'm fine, but you're not." and just saying stuff like that. And she kept coming back and just standing there. >> Okay. >> So, I called like And once I back, she got even more mad and then started doing that all up in my face again. her ma'am and she thought he said dude. >> Okay. >> So, she went Really? Yeah, and then that's when told me to just walk away and I stayed away since then. >> When she did How many times did she make contact with you? Just once? >> She like She would like do that sometimes, but I don't I don't like care about that. It was just a little shove that was like I'm already nervous, so >> Okay. Were you injured in any way? >> No. >> No. Were you in fear that you that she was going to like slap you or or punch you or anything like that? >> Um I was a little scared she was going to come at me, yes. >> Yeah. Did she take any kind of a aggressive stance toward you or she just was talking in your face and then >> that she was so close to me and doing that that I could tell she was comfortable and she's like, "Oh, if you would have met old me, you you would have this and that." And trying to scare me. And she's like she said, "You should you can That's the girl who used to work here. >> Okay. >> And I'm like I don't I get I I told her I said, "I get it you're tough. I'm not messing with you. I just want to make sure everything's good." >> Okay. >> But >> So we got I got a couple charges on her anyway. We just wanted to make sure that there was no that physical like a battery. It wasn't like you got or you know, we're getting ready to get battered or anything like that. It was just more of like, "Hey, back back away." type thing. >> Trying to assert herself. >> Okay. Uh I talked to her. It's more of like You can't tell me what to do. Okay. So she's good with not pressing charges. Perfect. Well, then we >> her. >> Yeah, we don't have to worry about the the video. >> In the end, officers determined that the woman had repeatedly refused lawful orders to leave private property after being directed to do so by store management. Under Florida law, remaining on a property after being warned to leave can result in a trespassing charge and her continued resistance during the arrest led to additional charges. What began as a simple request to exit the store quickly escalated into an arrest because she chose confrontation over compliance. After a lengthy argument, officers took her into custody and removed her from the property, bringing the incident to a close.
