I know she's having a medical emergency. Her eyes are open a little bit when I first got here. Hey. >> Hi. Have you Are you the one who told us? >> Yeah. Yeah. That's my car there. I came up. I'm coming over from the gate. I rolled up behind her. It was dark. My light wasn't moving or anything. So, I pulled around like I was just going to go left. Saw she was in here. Figured I'd just To be honest with you, I was just trying to get her out of the road, you know. >> So, can can we just talk over here a little bit? >> Sure. >> So, you pulled up behind her initially. Did the light cycle at all when you went through? >> And so, she was kind of off the light, you know? So, I was like just kind of waiting for a minute. >> Yeah. >> And then like there lights on in the car, right? You know, like no rear tail lights or anything. >> Oh, it was like all shut off. >> Yeah, it was all shut down. So, I just thought I'd pull around and make a left and go down the other way. And when I did that, I saw that she was slumped out on the wheel. >> I actually work for I'm a drug and alcohol counselor. >> So, I see a lot of my clients, you know, fentanyl knock, you know, fall out. >> I don't know. So, I'm just >> My whole thing was I was honestly I didn't want to have to call you guys. I was hoping to just get her off into the parking lot here, right? Like I don't want to see some young girl get, >> you know, whatever. should run out of cell or whatever. It may sound medical. I don't know. >> Hopefully. Yeah. >> Um >> I mean it kind of outweigh like what would be better at this point but >> Right. But uh you know and then so I just kind of reached in there and shook her on her shoulder. her eyes were open, but um but then she was just an all her stuff. You know, she didn't say a word. She didn't >> Okay. >> So, you know, I didn't know what was going. So, >> all right. You have your driver's license on your shirt? >> Uh it's in my car. >> You mind if I just write down your information? >> Oh, perfect. >> I think they're going to transport to the hospital, >> right? I hope so. We'll have to get our car. Like I said, I hope it's >> I don't want it to be a medical emergency, but I also want some trouble. You know what I mean? Like I didn't want to have to call you guys. I was hoping that she was just going to, you know, I don't know. Like I said, I was hoping I could take her off. >> All right. All right. Thank you, sir. >> Thank you, sir. Take care. What are they saying about it? >> They're not transporting her. Probably not. >> No, they're just checking her blood her sugar and blood levels. Make sure she had that. >> I didn't see I didn't see the ID. They have their ID now. There's no buttons. I don't know anything else about trying to do it off. >> Oh, get out of the car. Lock it. One leg. >> No, you got it off. But you got to get the key, will you? >> Yeah. >> Does she have it with her? >> Yeah. >> Oh, dude. I know it's not. I know. Nice. >> Well, I got all that dude's info. >> Okay. >> He just said he was stopped behind her. The light didn't even cycle. He just like decided he was going to turn left, looked over, and saw over that. Yep. Shout out. >> I mean, we were We all saw I think you open at the gym and wake up. You open the door, right? I saw one. >> Apparently, apparently the medics asked her if she has any. She's like, "No, I don't have any medical issues." But I've been drinking. That's what that's what she told. I got all the medical issue. I just been drinking. Must been drinking a lot. Can you hear? >> Are you okay to walk over to the sidewalk? Are you able to walk over there? >> Can you walk over there with me? You want to put out? >> All right. >> Can you tell me a little bit about what's going on tonight? How'd you get in this position? >> I'm sorry. 1830. >> Um, >> I don't I'm sorry. I call her supervisor. >> What are you sorry for? >> I just filmed too much. >> I'm sorry. >> Okay. Where are you coming from tonight? >> Just a friend's party here. >> A friend's party. Okay. Is it was it close by to here? >> What what's what's the address of where your friend came from or your friend's party at? >> Just down the street. I'm sorry. >> Okay. All right. How much did you have to drink tonight? >> Um I I don't know. Just a little bit. >> Just a little bit. Okay. All right. Do you know Do you know like what you were drinking at your friend's party? You don't recall? >> I'm just a little Did you I'm so sorry. >> Okay. Nobody else was in the car with you. You were just by yourself driving home. >> Is that what your plan was? To go home for the night. Okay. How long ago did you leave your friend's house? >> Okay. Do you know what time it is right now? >> Okay. You know what date? Sorry. >> Do you know what day it is? >> I'm sorry. >> Okay. All right. And you don't know about the times you left at your friend's house? >> Okay. >> I'm sorry. >> All right. All right. So, what we're going to do is I don't do I don't think you're probably comfortable like walking or anything. You seem like you're a little off balance. All right. Is that something you want to do? Phil, do you want to try Phil soiety test at all? >> I I I don't know. I don't know what it all entails. >> Okay. Well, let's see if we can walk over here. I at least just want to take a look at your eyes real quick. Okay. >> Mhm. >> All right. Can we walk over this way? We're going to come to this area right over here. Just watch the plant. Okay, you're good right there. No flashlight. I got it. I think mine's like dying or something. >> Do you want it bright or is it good? >> No, it's fine. Okay. All right. Can I just use the flashlight real quick? I do. I don't know what's going on with my Are you able to look up at me? Okay. So, like I said, I just want to take a look at your eyes. And what I'm going to be doing is just doing some side to side movements with my pen. Okay. Can you see this? >> Can you see the tip of my pen? Okay. Also, >> Mhm. >> Okay. So, what I'm going to be doing is just moving it side to side. And what I want you to do is just stand straight and then keep your head in line with your body. So you're only going to be looking at it with your eyes. Okay. Do you wear glasses or contacts or anything? >> Okay. Um, do you have a natural nestagmas? >> 1830 20 64 1074. >> Perfect. And then as far as any head, neck, spinal injuries, back injuries, anything like that? No. Okay. All right. So, can you see the tip of my pen? Okay. Okay. I'm just going to be looking at your eyes for a second. Okay. Okay. So, again, keep your head in line with your body and I'm going to move it side to side. All right. Just keep your head straight with your body, okay? You're only looking with your eyes. All right. Can you keep your head in line with your body? So, you're only watching with your eyes only. Okay. Okay. Heat. Now I'm going to turn it sideways. I'm going to move it upwards. So continue to keep your head in line with your body and then just look with your eyes only. Okay. Heat. Heat. Okay. So, the next thing we would typically do is a walk and turn in a wood lace stand test or exercise. And these exercises are made to see if you're able to drive. Okay. Are these something that you want to try to do? Do you think you'd be able to do them? Um, >> would you like to try? >> Wait, but it's specific. I I don't know. What do you mean? >> So, the exercises, there's a couple more that we would normally do under these circumstances. Okay. So, right now, I just noticed while you're walking and stuff, you're just having a hard time maintaining your balance. So, I don't want anything to happen to you either by getting injured by falling over or anything. So, these exercises require you to like walk a line, hold your leg out, and stand in one position. So, I don't know. It's up to you on if you want to try to perform those or not. >> Um I I don't know. I mean, it's otherwise I don't >> Okay. >> Would I don't What do you want me to do with you? >> I I can't say. I can only advise you what the tests are and explain them to you. And then if it's something that you want to try to do, again, my biggest thing for you is that your ability to to stand up straight because you're kind of wobbly right now. >> So, I just don't want you to get hurt while doing these. I'm happy to explain them to you and allow you to go through the process with them if you wish. >> Yeah, I'll just take the safest route possible. I don't want to get in trouble a lot. I I don't know. >> Okay. All right. So, essentially we can't we you obviously >> I I don't want to be in trouble a lot. >> Okay. Well, right right now you are in a little bit of trouble. Okay. Because obviously you drove. >> Okay. >> Okay. You drove from a friend's house. Essentially, we came here because someone called cuz they were concerned about you cuz you were asleep at the wheel with your car that's in the middle of the roadway. Okay. And then with you being under the influence from your signs and symptoms, what I can smell, what I can see, all that kind of stuff, I know that you've been drinking and driving. You had to drive from your friend's house. Okay. So, normally when people are under the influence, it's not illegal to drink, but it's illegal to be impaired and drive, right? So, what we're going to have to do now is we're going to have to tow your car for one, but we're also going to have to bring you to the station to do some further tests. All right. >> Gosh. So, wait. Can I call my husband or is How's How does that work? >> You can call your husband later, >> but you're not going to be able to call him right now. All right. Do you have your phone and stuff? Is that all in your bag? Okay. >> Here. It's all in there. >> So, right now, can I I can't I can't call my husband. >> What do you want to call him for right now? >> To pick me up. He's not going to be able to pick you up right now. All right. I'd be happy to give you the opportunity to call him and let him know what's going on. Let him know that you're safe >> and that you're with us, but he's not going to be able to pick you up. >> Okay. >> Do you want to pass on doing that for now? >> Yeah. I mean, it's like whatever. >> Okay. All right. Um, so what we're going to do right now, we'll get your car towed. We're going to have to place you into handcuffs, okay? Cuz you are under arrest for DUI. All right. >> Really? >> Yep. So, put the hands behind your back for us. That's all right. You can leave that. You got small wrists. Okay. All right. Now, we're going to go ahead and we're just going to walk over to my patrol car. Oh, sorry about that. We're going to walk to my car over here. Okay, just watch this meter here. Um, it's probably best to walk through this way. We don't have Yeah, I think they're police. >> Oh, this is >> Jo Leah. Where's the car? Do you have a Ford? Do you have a little Where's that at? >> Not that I found. I didn't see the debit card or >> So, it's on your phone. You have your phone? Yes. Just your uh your phone is what you use to start the car. Okay. Oh, >> what? Like my phone should be in it. >> Yes. This is the question that we're asking. Do you have it only on your phone? Right. You don't have the debit card or anything like that? >> Just like you have to call the husband. Yeah. >> What's your husband's phone number? >> Going to call to see if we can get the husband to pick it up. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Since they don't Right. I mean, is there is there something in there that it starts? >> So, the question is essentially is how how do you start your car? So, what we're familiar with with Teslas is that they either have a key card or they they don't have like a physical car key like most cars. They have like a key card or something that you have to have in the vehicle to start it. >> Yeah. >> How do you start your vehicle? Do you get in there and just >> just to start for you guys? >> No. No. We're asking you how you start it, >> right? But it it should it should just start for you for >> Right. It should just start, right? >> It it should start. The question is, how what do you have to have with you to get it to start? >> Are you the husband of Leah? >> Okay. Leah, >> so that number you gave said it was wrong. >> Hey, I'll show Are you able to grab her phone from her thing and see if we can pull the his number from it? >> So, we're going to grab your phone. We're going to see if we can get your husband's number from it cuz instead of towing the vehicle, it'd be better to just have him come pick it up if he's able to. >> Yeah, just so this this is officer Cythe. She's going to do your search real quick. Okay. So, can you stand up against my vehicle right here, please? She does have some dirt stuff on the side. So, there anything on you that's going to stick me or hurt me? Anything in our cards?
