wanted by the federal government for human trafficking and for an incident that happened that resulted in the deaths of 17 people including an infant child mamian officials have launched a criminal investigation into a suspected human smuggling operation more than a dozen Haitian migrants are dead after the boat they were on capsized off the Bahamas and officials believe they were heading to Miami 17 Haitian migrants are now dead including an infant after a speedboat capsized off the coast of the Bahamas Crews were able to rescue at least 25 survivors found holding on to the boat and police believe the vessel was on its way to Miami when it got caught up in Rough Waters and police believe up to 60 people may have been on board meaning it's likely several migrants are still missing and unaccounted for Bahamian authorities say they've taken two people into custody both from the Bahamas in connection to the suspected human smuggling operation Travis Jamal Moss pled guilty to forgery for giv him the fake name and DUI and he was sentenced to8 years of Probation and $1,500 and fines but he wouldn't be able to serve his probation because he was immediately handed over to the federal government to answer for those human trafficking charges and he was eventually extradited back to the Bahamas and charged there several days later after he was extradited back to the Bahamas the Fort Lauderdale Police Department and the Orange County Sheriff's Office both contacted vosta and they both had received a DNA hit from the blood draw that Valdosta had done one once that DNA was entered into the system it matched DNA that both departments were looking for and it turns out Travis Jamal Moss was wanted in Florida for a string of violent sexual assaults and armed robberies from
