hey man while you guys were sleeping I was on the road we're back engage then I'll explain it to you in a little bit [Music] [Music] well what a crazy last couple of days has been we gained a handful of subscribers had some negative comments got to talk to Adam who said he would be willing to work on on a video or something with me so it's been a while a couple of days and just all because I said I didn't care for the livestream but we're gonna move on from that now so we're back in Gatson we just left yesterday but about the time we got home Amy's the hospital here called and said they needed a me to come work for them so we basically had to do an about-face and turn around and come right back I didn't get a chance to get a whole lot in today because I was driving this morning and then when I got here I took a nap and I was pretty tired but the next couple of days we have a few things going on I've already got my map out figured out where we're gonna go for these next few days while we're here so this should be a fun week here I would imagine that most people will be should be getting their stickers in whoo I've sent them to anyways as of right now today I haven't heard you know anybody say they got him except for tampa jay he's the only one but he doesn't do videos until monday so it would be Monday before his comes out [Music] I am about to walk in a Walmart here so I can pick up a few supplies what I'm going to do today is a little bit different than what I have been doing so I still have footage left over from the abandoned ghost town Cahawba and I have been making a bonus footage video and uploading it to my patreon but what I'm gonna do today is I'm gonna put that package here for everybody to watch and then we will pick back up with live footage tomorrow to me it only makes sense that way the footage doesn't get wasted plus everybody gets to see everything else that happened that day I am going to run in to Planet Fitness for a minute or for a little bit longer than a minute I'm gonna run in and get a workout in and play in a tanning bed and or stand up in one I'm gonna go ahead though and show you these bonus footage from my trip to Cahaba [Music] back before slaves were emancipated the area we are in right now is a burial site and this burial site here is where slaves were buried prior to their emancipation after their emancipation there is a graveyard on the other side of the property where they were buried you can see is one area here a tombstone you know with its head peeking out of the ground can't make out what it says because most of its still underground there so it appears that over in this one general area those burial sites are scattered all in here I'm not going to walk around and view them all this is a pretty neat area though this part of the property by the burial ground here is said to be the most haunted on this property here on this location in front of me right here on this street corner was salt marsh hole here on this property used to see it a courthouse the old Cahawba first state house was located right there on that open field but back here behind it is also kind of interesting yes that's exactly what you think it is that's a grave this is the grave of mary eliza / peirong she died she died giving she died during childbirth in 1838 and was buried behind her home you can see here this dirt embankment here that's surrounded by trees that was an a railroad embankment the people of Cahaba wanted a better way to get goods in and out of the area so they decided they would build a railroad expecting it and it would also expand the city of Cahawba but it failed ultimately they couldn't get it done and it backfired on and that's what's the left there were no rails there they had just built that embankment up for a railroad but the railroad was never completed speaking of Mary pairing where we saw her gravesite is actually on the other side of town I've come over to this side of town now after she passed away her husband mr. Perrine married another woman a richer woman and they built a $50,000 mansion the will that was erected for this location is called the Perrine well now it's uh it's off of the artesian well they use pipes to have the water flow here which was going to be a factory at one time but that did not materialize so they used it to water the grounds gardens pastures and all of that that would have been out here in addition to that he forced water into pipes into his into his home that he had built inside his home remember I told you this $50,000 way back then and in return because of the way the water is off of the artesian well his home was the very first home in Alabama to have air conditioning because of that he had the water flow through those pipes in his house which stays the same temperature year-round when it's hot the water is cold when it's cold the waters hot here is that will here is another whale located off of the edge of the property this one's called the face whale and the reason they call it the face whale is because if you look here at the front of it in the steel looks like a face [Music] so hopefully you enjoyed getting the series the rest of that I'm glad that I got to show it to you I don't leave any footage so it'll be saved but now I can kind of push it to the side because now you've seen everything from that day so I'm gonna go ahead and in this video now I want to thank you all for watching tomorrow we're traveling over to Coleman Alabama we're gonna check things out over there I'll see you tomorrow have a good night [Music] [Music]
