today I am in Forsyth County Georgia and on November the 4th of 2018 which actually means just a month ago there was an anniversary of this story but um that November the 4th 911 dispatchers here in Forsyth County they received a call from a man named Jose Barrera Barrera tells the dispatcher that there was a group of people they were having an adult slumber party and then they woke up the very next morning to find one of the participants laying on the ground in the backyard deceased now the story that we're going to be talking about today has officially been ruled an accidental death they say she just simply fell from the balcony at the home but 99 of the people aren't buying it there's too many strange occurrences that took place and too many unanswered questions that went along with this and because of all of that most people questioned the official story here as to what happened today like like I said I'm in Forsyth County a good half hour or so up above Atlanta and today I'm going over the details of this story we're going to go to the home where it happened and I'm going to explain the circumstances and then I want all of you to decide what you think happened in the death of tamla Horsford foreign for this video today I have traveled into uh well it's a residential neighborhood called Quail Hollow and pretty much the entirety of this video took place right here in this neighborhood on Saturday November the 3rd of 2018 it was a college football Saturday and here in Georgia it was the Georgia Bulldogs versus the Kentucky Wildcats one thing that you have to understand about the Southern United States Alabama Tennessee Florida Georgia and probably a few others is that we all love football during college football season it's a big deal for us and everyone gets into it well mostly everyone on that November the 3rd a group of adults in Forsyth County were getting together to have an adult slumber party it was a group of parents and football moms more specifically that had all met as part of the Youth Football League in this community for years their children had played football with each other and they had all become friends because of this all together there were 12 people who were attending this party it was originally meant to be nine people nine football moms but Gene the homeowner her boyfriend was there so when the women were getting dropped off two of the other women had their husbands stay as well which made up the 12 people involved these slumber parties were parties that happened from time to time they happened every now and then this wasn't the first one and it was a way for these moms to take a break from their loves to hang out with some friends and neighbors and enjoy their lives plus it was a celebration it was the birthday of the homeowner where the party was taking place at her name was Gene Myers it was her birthday on this particular night a few of the party goers got there early enough in the afternoon that that they could watch the Georgia football game and then after that Georgia game ended a few more people showed up and they were gonna make a night out of it of course there was quite a bit of alcohol involved there was a little bit of drug use and they were all playing a card game called Cards Against Humanity which is an adult party game where people draw cards that have fill in the blank statements on them that has to be answered by using words or phrases that would typically be deemed offensive risque or Politically Incorrect one of the people that was attending this adult slumber party was 40 year old mother of five and stepmother to one Tamela Horsford Tamila was at her own home with her family for the Georgia game that afternoon and then about 8 30 p.m that evening she made dinner for her husband and their children and then Tamela arrived here at Gene Meyer's home at about 10 p.m on that November 3rd Tamela showed up with a bottle of tequila in hand and she was wearing a white like onesie pajama thing covered in Georgia Bulldog paw prints after Tamil arrived the group drunk a lot of alcohol and they took some pills and they smoked some pot they watched the Alabama LSU game that came on right after the Georgia and Kentucky game and they played this adult card game they conversated and they just had a great evening at some point after midnight most of the people at the party went to bed and passed out Tamela and another woman named Bridget Fuller were up by themselves in the living room and they were just talking at 1 47 a.m Bridget Fuller left Jean's home to go to her own home and as Bridget Fleur left the Myers home Bridget would be the very last person to see Tamela hallsford alive we know from the home security system that two minutes later at 1 49 a.m tamla opened the back door onto the back porch to go outside to smoke a cigarette one minute later at 1 50 a.m the door opened again and then at 1 57 a.m the door opened for the last time that night and it appeared to like have been open the entire night after that like it was never completely shut after 1 57 A.M it appears for whatever reason Tamela went outside at 1 49 A.M she came back in at 150 and then went back out again at 157. no one knows what happened during those few minutes whether maybe she forgot her cigarettes or her lighter or something inside but from 1 57 a.m that morning and on Tamela Horsford was outside on the back deck that back deck right there all by herself fast forward a few hours later on that morning at 8 45 a.m Madeleine Lombardi another one of the party goers she woke up and she headed into the kitchen to make a pot of coffee for everyone as she got to the coffee pot and she got it going she happened to look up and out the kitchen window and what she saw can only be described as chilling as Madeline looked up and out the window she saw the white dog print onesie laying on the ground in the backyard so Madeline raced out the back door and into the backyard and it's at this moment Madeline discovered Tamela Horsford she was laying face down and Motionless in the grass in the backyard like almost right underneath the deck there and she was deceased Madeline then ran back inside the home and she woke up the other party goers 14 minutes later at 8 59 a.m both Jose Barrera and Jean Myers he calls 9-1-1 and reports finding tamla laying in the backyard Motionless Forsyth County novel one all right yes um I need an ambulance and the place in my home what is your name my name is John Myers j-e-a-n-n-e okay what's going on um we had people over last night we were drinking most of us went to bed one of them stayed on the balcony she was drinking and we just went out there outside and she's running face down in the backyard hey have y'all checked to see if she's breathing she's not moving one bit she's not breathing I just try to assess her Tesla she's completely face down in the yard um she is stiff okay a few things were mentioned during that 9-1-1 call that brought some speculation to the story like for example at one point while Barrera was on the phone with the 911 operator he points out that Tamela has a small cut on her wrist and he even suggests that it could have been self-inflicted which is an odd thing to say during a 911 call okay and that's the only blood that you would see that's what I can see without moving her over I had a conversation and also in the background of the phone call a woman can be heard speculating that Tamela might have fallen from the balcony which is also an odd thing to say here because at this point no one could have known what happened I'm guessing maybe she said she fell on the balcony but she 9.07 a.m eight minutes after the 911 call was placed law enforcement arrived here on the scene and they began trying to put all the pieces together and they began trying to find out what happened to tamla all of the party goers were questioned and interviewed about the events of the night after hours and hours of law enforcement swarming the house taking pictures looking for evidence they measured the distance from the back porch to the ground which was about 14 feet and they scoured over every inch of the back porch and the backyard looking for any other evidence they can find well law enforcement they just left the home and all of the party goers were free to go in the days that followed an autopsy was performed and it was discovered that tamla had sustained severe injuries to her head her neck and her torso she had a broken neck they discovered that she had Cuts all over her face hands and lower legs Tamela had a broken wrist on her right hand it was noted that her right elbow was hyper extended backwards in a way that it definitely shouldn't be and several of the other bones in her body like a few ribs and some vertebrae were also in odd positions that they shouldn't be it was also noted that internally Tamila had a laceration to her heart on her right ventricle once this autopsy report came back everyone was extremely upset and distraught at the state of tamela's remains and at how many injuries she had suffered apparently during that evening law enforcement went back to talk to the witnesses and there was a little bit of a different atmosphere at this point it was as if these people were now suspects in the investigation but everything kind of changed though when the toxicology report came back because that toxicology report revealed that tamla had taken Xanax at the party that night there was THC in her system meaning she had smoked some marijuana and the medical examiner listed that at the time of her death Pamela was suffering from acute ethanol intoxication meaning she had drank way way too much alcohol the medical examiner actually listed her blood alcohol level at a 0.238 at the time of her death which is ridiculously above the legal limit of 0.08 once these toxicology reports come back the medical examiner listed tamela's death as an accident all investigations into her death just stopped and um that it kind of threw everyone in a Cheesy because it just happened all of a sudden even before those results were given to the news agencies speculation of Foul Play had already began to spread across the internet all of the witnesses reported that tamla did not appear to be overly intoxicated so questions came out of that like how did a woman who seemed to be in control of her faculties fall over a four foot railing down to her death into the backyard how did none of the party goers hear Tamela fall to the ground as it surely would have made a loud thud and how did a 14-foot fall break so many bones in tamil's body her neck wrist vertebrae ribs how did this 14-foot fall kill her on top of that there's also the other question because she landed her hands were by her side like Palms up meaning she didn't like try to prevent her fall if she fell if she had fallen from the balcony her hands would have gone down to try to you know block her fall but that wasn't the case there was another theory that was thrown up that maybe she had fallen down the stairs hit her head or broken her neck or whatever gotten up walked out onto the grass and then stumbled and fell but there's there's no way to prove that that happened either it's the weirdest thing she was face down but like her arms or down like she just face planted is the best way I can describe it so her arms are like by herself yeah they were by her side Palms up this speculation of Foul Play was running wild when it was announced that it was being ruled as an accidental death now that wasn't what the public wanted to hear so they dug their heels in and they doubled down claiming that this must have been Foul Play this Foul Play speculation was the only exacerbated when two months after tamela's death Jose Barrera Gene's boyfriend and the person who called 9-1-1 well he worked for the Forsyth County court system and he used his position and he accessed the case File from the software that they use in their computer systems he accessed it looking for information as to where the investigation was at once it was discovered that he had done this Jose Barrera was swiftly fired but that only fueled the foul play speculation even more people thought it looked as if he was trying to see if maybe he was a suspect or not in the case which only made him look more guilty than he already did to the public another month or so later after all of the heat had died down from the public outcry on February the 20th of 2019 the Forsyth County Sheriff's Department made a rather quiet announcement that the case was officially closed and it was being ruled in accidental death in the summer of 2020 another situation would arise across the country that would bring tamila's Case right back into the spotlight it was after the death of George Floyd when all of the anti-police protests were taking place across the country and everyone was an outrage and all of a sudden during this event out of the blue one day a letter was leaked online by an Atlanta journalist that claimed that this letter was from an attorney for Pamela's husband and the letter said that the 30 witness statements law enforcement took that they were all in conflict with each other they were all different statements the letter said that Barrera had actually moved tamela's body prior to law enforcement arriving at the scene it claimed that the The Little Rider had proof that evidence was disposed of and that the scene was not properly preserved it also claimed that the medical examiner did not take fingernail clippings or do a sexual assault kit after tamela's body had been found and lastly this letter said that tamla's injuries were consistent with those of a physical struggle and that the cuts and scrapes on her hands and arms and shins all appeared to be defensive wounds as if she had been fighting off an attack very quickly after the Atlanta journalists posted this letter it spread across the internet like a wildfire I'm sure by now throughout this video you have noticed that the pictures of the party that night that tamla was the only person at the party who was not a Caucasian who was not white so the fact that she was the only person of color at this party and the fact that she was the only person who died at this party mixed with all of the high tensions across the country at the time on race relations right after George Floyd's murder it was a Melting Pot of controversy and people from all over the country screamed foul protests took place all across America asking for justice for Tamela Horsford people lined up alongside the interstate in Georgia holding up signs that said her name on it there were other signs that said black lives matter on it and then there were other signs of other people who had been killed in the area at different points in time throughout all of this popular rappers TI and 50 Cent both shared post and weighed in on tamila's death which then prompted very popular actress Gabrielle Union and Kim Kardashian to weigh in on it which brought even more attention to tamela's story and with all of this combined and the fact that people had been suspicious about tamela's death all along it forced the Forsyth County Sheriff's Department to reopen tamela's case for a second investigation on June the 12th of 2020 the Forsyth County Sheriff had the Georgia Bureau of Investigation come in to reinvestigate the case now the gbi was not involved during the initial investigation and because the public was weary of Forsyth County's original investigation they gave it to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation so that an independent agency could look at it this time the gbi spoke with all of the witnesses again and they went through all the evidence taken by the Forsyth County Sheriff's department and one year later on July the 28th of 2021 the gbi released a statement saying that they concluded Pamela's death was accidental and that they agreed with the Forsyth County Sheriff's Department's assessment obviously again this wasn't what the public wanted to hear so again this announcement was met with outrage from the public despite two different investigations claiming that tamla fell 14 feet from that balcony the people didn't buy it the public said that there are just way too many unanswered questions to say that this was an accidental death since then petitions have been made online along with people offering to donate money to tamela's husband to get him to hire a private investigation into what happened and since then there has been an ongoing situation where a lawyer connected to the case requested the autopsy photos from the Forsyth County Sheriff's department but they declined to release them claiming that a family member and tamlers next of kin had not signed a waiver allowing them to release these photos because obviously in the photo she's nude and there's laws that prohibit them from releasing photos of victims like that in those type of situations in 2019 Tamela horsford's best friend who was not at the party that night again posting on social media and she told anyone that would listen that Tamila had been murdered by these people at the party every day she posted something new which led to Jose Barrera and Gene Myers filing a defamation lawsuit against her which would eventually get dropped but it was held up in the court systems for um a long time at least a year since all of this the Forsyth 12 as they have been called they've all split up and they've gone their separate ways for the most part in Myers and Jose Barrera eventually sold this home where Tamila died claiming they were exhausted from news Medias and and just random people posting up outside of their home constantly so they sold the house and they moved to Florida or something like that a few of the people who were present that night at the party have turned on the rest of the group under the assumption that one of them who they thought was their friend might have killed Tamela Horsford and then five members of the group have essentially like gone into hiding they have not spoken with anyone regarding the events that happened in those early morning hours of November the 4th 2018 and they are unavailable for anyone to contact today here in December of 2022 this case is closed hamiltonless case is closed and it's been ruled in accidental and death but I want to know what you think let me know down in the
