today I traveled up to Wetumpka Alabama which Wetumpka I'll spill it right here for you you may also remember we Tom cusine this video that I did but I'm in a different location today I'm at Fort Toulouse State Park [Music] the sport for toulouse was erected in 1717 by the french who they were they were trying to combat Georgia and North Carolina British who were advancing in this direction so they built this fort try to fight off the British the sport has been here for 300 years good God at the Sun that just popped out through the trees let's check out and see what the fort looks like here's that they were some of the ins houses or barracks stationed here you can see the fireplaces the lookout post that they would stand on there's another lookout post on the other side over there in that corner this is what it looks like on the inside there's a ladder go upstairs maybe for storage or a lookout or email sleeping area they obviously didn't have heat back then item you see right here is a burning oven to cook a couple of times a year they do reenactments here where everybody would dress up in period clothing they'll light up the fireplaces light up the burning oven and show you what it was like to live during that time period [Music] let's check out some of the park this building here would have been one of their old stables during that time period this trashcan was not from that time it's kind of cool today I might should've wore a jacket the Sun is in the direction that I am heading and blinding obviously this section is not completed yet apparently just like they're gonna have a floor going straight across covering that way it looks like they started work on it doesn't look like it's been maintained in a long time there's nobody out here it's so peaceful and serene let's go check out the American for this monument is it almost looks like a mini replica of the Washington Monument in Washington DC was kind of wrong it says here stood for Toulouse a defense against the Indians some spring on this spot earu Jackson to Fort Jackson which was named after it says he defeated the creaky Indians here the Battle of Horseshoe Bend which this edge right here makes a horseshoe and it's a river you can almost see this tree here behind me the limbs are so big and so low to the ground you could almost see it in a movie live I don't know Forrest Gump for example him and Jimmy sitting on the tree yeah I see that you're gonna walk over and check out this orc now another thing I really like all the moms hanging from the trees [Music] neat-looking old cabin here quite sure why this bridge is here there's no water or a ditch underneath [Music] so last night Adam the woo a YouTube idol of mine posted like I said before Adam is my favorite youtuber I've enjoyed everything he's done I've seen everything he's done and I've been watching that on many years now with knowing now that he's gonna post his video in a week it's gonna seem like the longest week ever he says this is his most expensive most ambitious project he's done understandably I'm ecstatic that means a week from today his new video will be out so in his post he says he hopes everyone is excited the release of his new video as he is so Adam I'm sure you'll see this just to let you know yes we are just as excited as you are [Music] that's all I've got for today my last Adam the whoo update video has now gotten over 3200 views which is huge so I can't wait for Friday to come Adams new video that comes out I'm gonna end this video there I want to thank everybody for watching I'm gonna think Adam for putting out a new video which we all get to see on Friday and I'll see you tomorrow [Music]
