yeah it's about 6:00 a.m. get the car packed ready to go we're going to pick up a couple of the quads and let them ride with us and we're hitting on the road hated to Mississippi we're all loaded up two babies Parker in the middle hated the Mississippi hey dougie say hey so hey ducky so hey you monster man so we made it we are in Smithville Mississippi my wife's family has having a family reunion today and once we leave here in a little bit we're spending the night check out a few things around to him [Music] let's go inside and see what's going on by the way it's just some fun the a little bit of fellowship it's all family reunion is you are okay say that again what did you say I gotta eat my food yeah you're so crazy the building and there's this trail that makes a circle around that pole in this lot I'm curious to know what it is here for I was just walking around the trail to see if I could you know if it led off into a different path in the woods or something hopefully we'll be able to jet out of here pretty soon get settled into our hotel especially before Alabama kicks off yeah 6:15 Central Time so there's some kind of trail right there but hopefully we get to the hotel I'm planning it enough time so we can catch the Alabama game do a little bit of sightseeing exploring in Amery tomorrow it's not a lot going on we're getting up and driving straight back it's my wife has to work tomorrow night there's another trail we are wrapping up here the family reunion see what's going on before the Alabama game [Music] [Music] Alabama on the TV 17 to nothing right now town and Mississippi Emory is known for its trains and its transport when you walk into the downtown area you run into this train is the Frisco 1529 and it was in use of 1953 [Music] Roosevelt came did this small town of a marine Mississippi very small and gave a speech he came on his personal train on the same tracks that this train was on many years later [Music] it's a statue to honor Confederate soldiers 1529 is my wife great-grandfather drove that exact train [Music] this is pretty cool too this is the Armory time capsule it was buried July 3rd 1977 and will be opened on July 4th 2000 76 in the backwoods heading into town because I've seen this this old gas pump super Shale this is originally what caught my eye right here that's what caught my eye as we were driving by and there's an old car there man that's great that is still in service it looks like a spaceship this place this place is amazing and it appears to be very much it's very much an active working gas station just got to a local Mexican restaurant gonna get us a bite to eat we've got the Alabama game play in so we're not missing anything this Mexican restaurant doesn't sell any alcohol I've never been to a Mexican restaurant that doesn't sell their tea is not sweet ice cream break I think family reunions are good there's a quote that says family is like an anchor during rough water now what that means is your family will always be there for you it's light I think I'm going to hop in the shower and I think we're going to turn in for the night Alabama 1 441 to 9 over Arkansas so this was a good weekend for college football [Music] [Music] I think somebody at the Reunion was out to get us because we all got upset stomachs after eating that food man not cool
