once again this history being made right here the second snow in one winter in Alabama [Music] well today is the day we got bad weather coming in as of this morning they're saying that where I live we're gonna get a pretty big dump of snow here and just like in my last video about snow I'll put it right here where it snowed here it never happens we don't get snow so if they're right and it snows again this winter that will go into the record books it never snows here and for it to happen twice and one year is remarkable although I'm still not convinced it's going to happen we'll see the moisture is coming in it's I can feel it in the air you can see this parking lot is full the parking lots full because well like I said we don't get snow down here so when it happens people tend to panic I'm at the grocery store to get something to cook for dinner but everybody's here buying bread and milk essentials for fear they won't be able to leave their house for the next couple of days everybody paintings I'm finished up at the grocery store still moisture in there but no snow yet a couple hours later now still no snow it's gotten a lot colder though I am skeptical that it'll come at all other people seem to think it will come and be worse than the time before I guess we'll find out snow my wife's leaving for work now because unlike everything else in Alabama the hospitals don't shut down for snow the schools are out and everything is closed down and it ain't even started snowing and it may not snow for about half an hour away from the time they say that it's supposed to start snowing and look at the sky it definitely looks different thirty minutes later well I know it's dark right here but they didn't lie it's just now beginning to come down I was hoping to get over here by the light so maybe you could see it see it so it's a miracle for the second time in one winter it has snowed in Alabama that's more than it has snowed here and probably the last 20 years because I was talking about it I decided to check the data and look it up so I could kind of describe to you how it does not ever snow in Montgomery Alabama before this winter today is the second time it snowed this winter which is history-making but before this winter 2010 was the last time it snowed eight years ago and in Montgomery's history the largest snowfall came in 1993 they dubbed it the storm of the century here because it dropped three point eight inches snow in the city of Montgomery Alabama up north it does snow a lot more but here it does not the last time in Montgomery Alabama was history that it snowed more than once in a year's time was in 1986 it dropped a total of 12 inches of snow on the city of Montgomery [Music] you can really see the snow coming down now so a light cover on top of everything my grill trash can my mechanics chair and the car according to the weather surface is supposed to snow until about 3 o'clock in the morning so hopefully when we wake up the ground will be covered but as of right the second it's not sticking to the ground what you want somebody needs to use the restroom bill ran out to come potty and was only out here just a couple of seconds ran back to the door and she said heck no it's too cold out here wrong on my timeline of it sticking to the ground in the morning it's actually coming down pretty heavy right now and it's already starting to stick [Music] yes that means there'll be layers of snow on the ground in the morning I know all of you are probably laughing and saying man it's just a little bit of snow but once again this history being made right here the second snow in one winter in Alabama where it's been eight years since the last note basically it never snows here I think I'm gonna go in and warm up and check back on that again in a few minutes about 15 minutes since I was out here last and there's already a big difference [Music] well we're about an hour into it's snowing and it's been coming down pretty good non-stop so what we have out here right now is pretty good right now we're at about the point where we've gotten more snow in this little bit of time than what we had before Christmas when it snowed I guess we really won't know how much the total is until in the morning when we get up we still have a they say another three or four hours of snow that's still going to come down so I'm gonna go ahead and in this video there so will to be continued this episode until in the morning so until tomorrow I want to thank everybody for watching and I'll see you tomorrow have a good night [Music] [Music]
