no further description this Deputy decides that he's going to stop anyone and everyone that he sees on foot in Fort Ben County and hold them until he can get an actual description of the suspects hey I'm going to keep up with y'all no matter what man rather than going to the general area where the alleged crime happened this Deputy finds two black males walking through their neighborhood more than a mile and a half away from where the call was hey come here one of you come here come here there's not no reason if y'all would stop I'd stop following you just stand by the van right there I just want to talk to y'all that's it we're not trying to talk to y'all bro okay while I'm trying to talk to you I'm giving you a lawful order to stop that's no lawful order yeah it is all right go ahead A man was robbed at gunpoint okay I don't know if you're if the boys are involved I asked them to stop so I can speak with them the last thing I was given was that the suspects were walking down West Airport they were walking down West Airport supect from right now we know it's suspects okay so I don't know if it was them I asked them hey stop so I can talk to you they take a around they take start running this way I catch them over here I said please stop stop let me talk to you they say no we're not going to stop stop at that point it's a lawful order all I'm trying to do is talk to them man it's all I'm trying to do so I grab I don't even know what their names are right now I grab one of them he starts actively resisting actively fighting me so I take him to the ground my partners get him in handcuffs we go and get the other young he ends up in handcuffs after he was at taser point because he was not listening he's lucky he did not get tased the other boy was lucky the last thing I heard was a suspect had a gun and he starts reaching in here he's lucky he didn't get hurt he is lucky okay so they're I I'll hold off on the boys for now okay we're trying to get in contact with the person that was robbed see if we can get a better description of them I'm only working off of what I had okay first all thank for sping that life I know I know how bad that can be yeah I didn't murder him after all there is a crime that occurred somewhere in Fort Ben County and this young man was in Fort Ben County and I'm telling you we were literally saying we're going to our to the female deputy naah meaning neither one of these guys fits the description 20 minutes after the arrest of these young men deputies start getting information about the alleged robbery suspects so y'all met at the dead neighborhood um and you said you you and it was it was all offer offer up right um yeah it was a it it was two people that were there with uh that that met up sorry there's a plane passing by it was two people okay sir okay then we thought they wearing comment so we drove up and the dude lied about say he lied about saying he was in the car and they walked on foot okay when you saw them leave uh which way did you fit the description of the people you were with for yes but I don't think well initially yes we're getting more information now um I'm not saying it to him no we're not we're not saying it's him we'll keep you updated we're getting more information so you say that you're not saying it's as of right now yes ma'am so so I'm I'm not sure my partner is the one getting me information right now okay um uh the initial description that we got these two boys did match it I don't know now we're getting more information okay um as soon as we're done my off and I was like whatever you know um and I try to contact our PC what really have the RP didn't answer at the time he said he can't talk right now um but I got him to talk right now basically robed that gunpoint yeah they over a jacket guys took the jacket how many how many suspects they did say two okay uh I want to review my body cam because I may have seen some other people and that jacket may have been on another person in the area Okay wa and were they with them no okay so I'm I'm because if I don't need them here I'm okay yeah all right man look so right now we're just going to review something real quick on our video footage and uh if we can if we determine that you guys aren't involved guess what you're free to go and it could have been way easier if y'all would have just then you lift your seds up make sure you don't have any anything and same thing with like your legs you can raise them up just a little bit your oh there yeah I go um you want to go with the do your mom into the hure that's cool um this is what I got this alleged robbery had happened during a Meetup to sell something the suspect had used his social media account to set up this Meetup and his account had dozens of photos of him as well as all of his identifying information hello man I'm going help you great I that's my nephew I was just trying to see who the officer was that had him detain it was me okaya yeah what happened so we had a call of an aggravated robbery with a weapon right so there was a there was a description that uh two two black males were uh robed somebody at gunpoint okay um that was it just two black males no no no so it was two black males they were walking down West Airport okay I saw these two young men walking down West Airport as I was driving over there I turn back around um I come to find them I end up finding them over here on Old Richmond Road okay I they see me and they immediately start running so last I knew there was armed robbers and they were on the road that they were walking these young men they see me they start running I catch up to them I ask them hey stop I just want to talk to you I just want to ask you some questions they say no they keep walking at that point it's a lawful order from a law enforcement officer to stop okay I'm conducting an investigation they have to stop and talk to me and catch up to him here ask him again ask him again no so I finally catch him I I I grab Elijah and he start he tenses up he starts pulling away he start trying to fight me so right cuz he's not under arrest correct but he is he is legally detained at that point Under Suspicion right yes so what was the description you was given um it'll it'll all be in the report okay yeah it'll all be in the report and where did the uh Robbie take place over on West Airport West Airport and what uh it'll be in the report man I can't I can't Devol too much of the details cuz not cuz it's active investigation and and you're not directly involved yeah neither was he at the time we didn't know that he it was it was we were still con conducting the investigation yes man all right any other officers uh detain him or just you I was I was the main one I was help by another off he up I I I understand that I I completely understand that and I spoke to his mother and yes right now he's not involved in any of this but he wouldn't have been involved even less if they would have just listen to me that's all they have to do I asked them to stop I they weren't doing anything wrong they knew they weren't doing he has a right to say no and he don't have to answer any questions if he's not under arrest okay okay yes that's correct but if I ask him to stop under during an investigation I was conducting investigation he didn't know that you asked him to stop he said no gave him a question not a command no I told him to stop I said you need to stop and then they said no I said you are legally detained they kept walking I said you are law I've given you a lawful order they kept walking okay and the problem cause you had was what I don't have problem C I had Reasonable Suspicion okay there's a difference right cuz you didn't have problem CA so he could have left reasonable suspicion mean that he he could leave prob C me that you had a reason he matched the description just said in the third no man that's that's that's incorrect okay um but I I was legally within my right to do what I had to do okay all right all right it'll all be in the report they had the report okay they don't have the report yet when will they report oh no they'll be able to access so they can go to the Forin County records Lobby and get a copy of it all right is your supervisor out here of course he's right here oh this one okay oh okay all and he just like in an altercation with whoever robbed him no he got an altercation with with me oh he tried to rob somebody no no okay that's fine okay you got you said down we just need to make
