hey what's up guys it's James Freeman I was just tagged in this video a couple of minutes ago this video comes from the city of Concord North Carolina uh city of Concord Police Department um is featured in this video check this out so this looks like a two-lane road not a four-lane road by all means correct me if I'm wrong either way what you're about to see is unacceptable so we've got a school bus coming up comes to a complete stop sign is out lights are flashing kid is coming and gets off of the bus it looks like the bus driver yells to the kid the kid turns around and boom City police officer passes on the right hand shoulder as the child is getting off of the bus it looks like the bus driver just saved that kid's life you see the kid turn back around gets off turns around I think the bus driver just saved that kid's life um but the police officer clearly went right past a bus that was stopped with flashing lights uh almost killed that kid so uh super heroic it looks like this kid's parents recorded this on their uh security cameras at home this was on 5 11 2023 as of the time I'm recording this video that was two days ago so that would have been a Thursday I believe um of course luckily the poster tagged the police department in it and of course our uh our hero Spike Cohen is here in the comments uh says hi there why did your officer ignore he stopped school bus and almost run a kid over and one what punishment are they receiving for this crime Spike Cohen always Garners a lot of attention on Facebook if you're not already following him do yourself a favor and follow him follow him two hundred thousand 200 000 followers remember to stop by the Dunkin Donuts location at 30 railford Drive blah blah blah this morning to help raise awareness and raise money for the Special Olympics North Carolina uh people are coming in here and and attacking the cop for almost unaliving a kid that cop endangered all the children's lives should donate his entire salary to this cause and quit his job shameful uh when you're going to arrest and charge the public servant for almost hitting a child and then we've got Charlene Baker here Charlene Baker the police apologist uh this post is about helping special needs kids the officers who raise funds and help with these kids don't have anything to do with the officer in the bus incident good grief people stop just looking at the negative and look at all these men and women look at all the good these men and women do stop attacking them thank you Concord Police I am appreciative of you I'd like to get a shirt to support you uh how do I go about doing that well it's in the post for one thing Charlene Baker if you could just read if you could comprehend anything Charlene Baker they told you how to go about getting a shirt but you seem pretty insincere and disingenuous when you come in here trying to get up on your soapbox and talk you know and how do I get a shirt they told you how to get a shirt Charlene read the post Charlene I couldn't attend the the DD location today thanks again for your hard work and dedication uh I mentioned they're raising money for um special needs kids I said you know she's saying it has nothing to this the cop almost running a kid over has nothing to do with this of course it does the officer in the video tried to turn the kid into a special needs kid so I mean there's that Charlene Baker let's check out some of the other comments I haven't even read all of these in the area of the country I am from a civilian did the same thing that the officer did and hit four children three of which sadly died it is more than just a traffic violation violation please hold these off please hold the officer accountable um show us the video of how one of your police officers almost ran over a kid coming out of a school bus the Concorde cor identified the employee and an administrative investigation is underway following the passing of a stopped Cabarrus County school bus by marked Concord police vehicle the department takes all complaints and allegations of misconduct seriously and is working with Cabarrus County Schools to gather additional evidence on May 11 2023 the Concord Police Department became aware of a video posted by a resident on social media the video depicts a fully marked Concord Police Department vehicle passing a stopped school bus operated by a Cabarrus County Schools operated by caverse County Schools as a student was getting off of the bus while adjacent neighborhoods and homes are within the city limits this incident occurred outside the city of Concord as a result Cabarrus County Schools is following standard protocol and is referring the traffic violation to the appropriate law enforcement agency let's check out the comments in this post too will this person get the same treatment as though and lose points off his license or an easy pass because the system works one-sided do the right thing Concord PD now is the time to truly show if you hold yourself accountable like the rest of us any one of us would have received a ticket if not a ride downtown if a child was almost hit officers should be held to the same standard accountability has never been part of the Concord PD pathetic nothing short of an instant termination is acceptable none of this none of this stepped down and shift from Department to Department bull crap guys a link is in the description to the Concord North Carolina Police Department Facebook page make sure to head over there leave them a comment or two or ten also make sure to check out the also make sure to check out the merch store get that back the blue until it happens to you merch and we'll see you on the next one
