Doesn't the officer have a body cam? He does, yes. So, I'm I've been told multiple times when recording police interactions, you don't need to do that. We have body cams. That's That's true. So, why did you need to take my recording if he had a body cam? >> Well, since you did record it, it's just additional evidence. >> On October 8th, 2025, Dean Riano with the McKinney, Texas, Police Department arrested me for telling him to shut up. >> By telling me to shut up right now, I can take you to jail right now for that. I'm trying to deal with him. You come over here telling me to shut up my own call. Absolutely not. I can take you to jail just for that. >> If you have any question about the totality of the circumstances, the entire thing is linked below. When they illegally arrested me, they stole my footage of the incident and claimed that they were just taking it for evidence. Evidence of the alleged crime of me telling a cop to shut up. >> Shut up. >> The following day, I went and tried to retrieve my stolen property, but they claimed that they were holding it while waiting for a judge to sign a warrant for them to get into it and extract the videos. >> We were just given the stuff this afternoon. Uh have already submitted the search warrant. Once we get it back, we will have the phone and the SD cards immediately taken over to this team of individuals who does the downloads. >> But keeping my property wasn't about extracting the video. They know I publish it online publicly anyways. It was about further retaliating against me for telling their officer to >> Shut up. >> So, I made them an offer that no rational person acting in good faith could possibly refuse. I told them you don't even need a warrant. I will voluntarily sign away my rights to be free from searches and seizures and give you all of the raw footage just like you want. And then you give me my property back as it no longer contains anything that you claim to need for your alleged case. Let's just let me give you the footage instead of further harming me. Yeah. So, nobody's trying to harm you any more than what's already been done, okay? So, >> But what what's the harm though? I know you're not trying to. >> So, But you are. But I'm kind of shocked that they want my footage anyways. I've always been told that it's ridiculous and unnecessary for an [ __ ] like me to even be recording the police because police have body cameras and they're already recording every interaction themselves. So, for instance, okay? For And I'm just going to give you a some perspective like I This is a body cam and it's recording this interaction just like y'all's cameras are. Um but there is a possibility that if you um were 30 yd away, you could say something that maybe my body cam doesn't pick up. And if you were holding a recording device, it would probably more accurately capture whatever you said. >> So, the more recording devices, the better? More angles, the better? More people in different places circling and and surrounding the traffic stop, the better? I agree. I agree. The more cameras, the more cameras on your traffic stops, the better. The more angles, the better. Potentially. >> So, I'll never hear a cop say you don't need to record, I got my body cam on ever again. >> not I'm not going to tell you what they're going to say. I'm going to make a bold claim and say that the reason they want to be the only ones with recordings is so that they can control the narrative. Within hours of me being arrested, the McKinney Police Department made this post on Facebook inferring, but not quite claiming, that somebody had been arrested for interfering with police duties. The public relations person that made this post was under the impression that the McKinney Police confiscated all of the footage of this incident and that it was all in their custody. Therefore, they could write a narrative and nobody could dispute it with evidence. Shortly after that, Pink Camera Magic, who was present with me on the scene recording the interaction, posted a completely uncut, unedited 30-minute raw footage of the entire interaction and put it in the comment section. Since then, almost 6,000 people have destroyed these lying [ __ ] in the comment section. While myself and Pink Camera Magic have voluntarily turned over all of our raw footage to the police and to the public, to this day, the McKinney Police Department has refused to release any of their body cam footage. The point is, yes, the police have body cams, but if it wasn't for Pink Camera Magic recording that day, then the only thing you would have right now is a written narrative from the McKinney Police Department that in absolutely no way whatsoever represents what we all see in the video. McKinney PD, #attemptingtohidethetruth to control the narrative.
