you they don't care about me but one thing that we know that they do care about is Officer safety officer safety is Paramount it's number one and so I did contact the sheriff's department to see if they were going to be making any changes for officer safety Sheriff Office hey is there a uh sergeant that I can speak to what's that reference to uh just want to thank him for his service [Music] okay hold on just a moment can I ask your name James okay the sergeant are tied up at this time but I can take your number and give them a message yeah sure um just wanted how how are the deputies doing that uh were involved in that incident about eight days ago are they all okay uh they're okay yeah yeah everybody's doing good mhm okay um yeah I wanted to just wanted to tell them I was thinking about him I wanted to see if uh I mean officer safety is number one priority right uh if you have any questions regarding it though it has to go to the state police because they're doing an ongoing investigation yeah sure no no no I didn't want to speak about the specifics of it just you know I know officer safety is the number one priority so I was just curious if they were going to you know stop breaking into people's houses so they don't get shot in the face anymore okay thank you for your time yeah you're welcome thank you ma'am I have some ideas of how not to get shot in the face including like one like not breaking into people's houses um that's one way that I've been able to avoid getting shot in the face uh in my life um but I mean these are cops and I'm just a regular Joe and so I doubt that they're going to take it from me that that it's a good idea not to break into people's houses if you don't want to get shot in the face and so I I also have a Sheriff from another County and another state who is going to reiterate that and and I'll let him tell you in his own words what he thinks about you breaking into people's homes and what he thinks should happen to you if you break into people's homes not my words not my ideas just the ideas of a sheriff stay out of people's house stay out of their homes if you don't you'll end up like these last two guys have you don't have a right to forcibly break into someone's home to forcibly break into their home is a deadly deadly decision the father making a life ore decision shot the Intruder and killed him oh yeah I shot him those watching say they don't blame them no no I mean they were trying to break in right no they would have done the same thing he begins to break into the home he tears through the screen he breaks the glass with a tire iron and the homeowner shoots and there's where he dies it appears that the shooter was perfectly Le legal the shooter was perfectly legal to defend her home this is another incident where you just should have left but when you came back to the house that's not your home and you tried to break in wait wait wait 10 bang out bang out and you're shot and killed while breaking into the house that's a bad choice and it's the last bad choice he'll make you can't break into people's homes and from all indic ations that's exactly what was happening but you had the right to protect yourself in your home and to be free from home Invaders armed burglars she stopped him she stopped him permanently [Music]
