they've been dismissed interest of Justice those fees are bail and they should be returned after dismissal okay you know what I don't have a problem with returning your thank you hey everybody it's James Freeman somebody sent me this video and asked me to show it on my channel I usually don't show stuff like this uh because it quite often seems to be a lot of Truth mixed with a lot of lies some deception and sometimes just misunderstandings but let's watch this video where this guy is in court arguing and he ends up getting his traffic citations dismissed and then let's talk about why they may have been dismissed for the record uh my name is Ryan Thor I'm the living man I am not the entity known as Ryan Michael Thor just to clear that um I am here uh on special appearance um under threat duress and cerion to challenge uh subject matter jurisdiction and also personal jurisdiction as well I uh filed my paperwork for you on Friday and the clerk illegally uh denied it I went again this morning and filed my paperwork again for you the clerk again illegally denied it even though I gave her a notice telling her it's a felony for her not to uh accept my paperwork and actually it's in law it's considered filed when I gave it to her so there what do you want to do today sir um well your honor I mean I'm going to have to ask a few questions first which first of all is I need to understand the nature and the cause of the charges against me as well as I need to know is this a civil jurisdiction or criminal jurisdiction okay it's Criminal jur crial just approve a correction on August 26 2022 or Ryan Michael for did if you're are you saying that's not you Ryan Thor is the living man Ryan Michael Thor is the defendant and error it's the artificial person so thank you your honor uh let the record of the Court show that the action against me is Criminal and now I have another question because the Constitution grants us two different criminal jurisdictions okay one criminal jurisdiction is under the common law and the other is under the Crim uh criminal jurisdiction of admiralty or Military Tribunal venue from article one section 8 Clause 17 of the Constitution can we come back to your in a second I got to do some other cases and then I'll take the time to do all this with you well I need to know which of these two jurisdictions that uh you intend to try me it's very important because they they're done different ways the rules of civil procedure are very different in a criminal jurisdiction obviously for common law and mil civil no one's asking you you know no so we just need to show did you were you able to cure your license with the DMV or you don't know you honor I I again I I need to get these other questions answered I you know I need to know what the jurisdiction is and uh I need to know also um who the injured party is you know the nature and cause of this I need to know who the injured party is I need to know who's bringing the claim how about okay date is so here here's the deal do you want to have a trial day I can give you many trial different dates and you come in and you can ask all the questions and they have to prove the charges against you thank you your honor but I I don't think you'd be violating your oath of office by doing your duty under the Constitution okay I Mr Thor I'm gonna have to come back to your case I have all these other cases and I'll take all the Time in the World to do you know I your honor I I just motioned for dismissal because uh if this is a criminal jurisdiction as you're claiming I need to see a verified complaint and I need uh from the injured party and I have to have an opportunity to face my accuser as you mentioned at the beginning of this entire hearing so who is the injured party that's the question who's the injured party why am I here I don't understand why I'm here all right what else so he just has count one and count two all right sir I'm going to just um exercise appreciate your time welcome next case Matthew martinz CMZ thank you for being paent all right so the reason I chose to review this video and talk about it is because it seems to me that there are some people who mistakenly believe that cases like this get dismissed because you made some sort of solid undeniable legal argument in court that is not why these cases get dismissed this court is a business they're here to collect Revenue there are a room full full of people here who are going to pay Their fines and citations to the court and they're not going to take more than 10 minutes probably 5 minutes of the Court's time to do that now don't get me wrong more power to this guy I'm proud of him for doing this exactly the way he chose to do it and for getting his case dismissed saving himself a lot of time and money but if you believe that this case was dismissed because some type of solid legal argument was made then you are badly mistaken it was dismissed because this court is in business to make money and this guy is a pain in the ass and he is going to cost the court more money than they will ever make off of him and this judge was actually smart enough to realize that was smart enough to realize that she has a room full of people who won't argue anything at all who will just pay Their fines and fees uh and these are all for traffic violations I don't know why she said it's criminal these are all traffic violations that's what these people are here for and she knows that almost everybody else in this room isn't going to argue anything they're not going to waste any of the Court's time and they're just going to pay their citation these cases get dismissed because the court realizes that they will not make a profit off of someone who is actually going to argue their case and it really doesn't matter whether you come in and argue like this guy did which some people label Sovereign citizen arguments or whether you come in and argue oh well you know I don't think that the police officer had his radar turned on or whatever it is in my experience if you want to argue at all you've got a dang good chance of getting your case dismissed I'll also say though that I've seen these tactics used multiple different times I've even used them myself I wish that people would understand what's actually happening and what's at play here because I've done it myself and I'll do it again I'm disheartened when people try to convince other people that there is a silver bullet to winning in court because there's not I've seen people use this tactic that this guy used and seen every single different type of outcome you could possibly get I've seen them found guilty I've seen them found not guilty I've seen them have their cases dismissed I've seen them thrown in jail for contempt of court and so my only hope is to destroy this rhetoric and this idea that somebody's got a silver bullet and if you walk into court with their script and you use their script and you do it just right you're always going to win and you're always going to get your case dismissed because that's just not the that's not the way it works have I used methods like this yes will I use it again especially in a in a civil case with a speeding citation or driving on a suspended license or something like that absolutely absolutely I'll do it every time but do I walk in with this ignorant mindset that my gosh I'm the smartest man alive and I've got the Silver Bullet to convince this judge that I know the law better than her and therefore my case is going to be dismissed no no that's that's just ignorant you you need if you're going to try something like this you need to at least understand what's really at play here personally I would love to see every single person that ever receives a traffic citation demand a jury trial the court cannot handle giving genuine Fair due process to every single person that they try to extort they can't do it and therefore if every single person that they tried to extort had the time to spend doing stuff like this and arguing with the court they would have to dismiss most of these cases and eventually they'd have to realize we need to stop extorting people for victimless crimes now another thing to consider is that I personally don't think that I've ever seen someone have their case dismissed after just one appear appearance and if you can get it done in one appearance then I think that you're winning but most of us do have jobs we do have careers we have to go to work every day we have families we have a lot of things to do and so for me when I try to decide whether I'm going to go to court and argue something or whether I'm just going to pay the fine just like the court is trying to weigh out hey how much money can we make off of this guy and how much is it going to cost us I'm also trying to figure out hey how much is this fine how much money am I going to lose by taking off work today so for me all of these things are taken into consideration and if I've got a $60 ticket for not wearing a seat belt I'm going to weigh that out and say well gosh I mean if I'm going to have to take a half a day off work to go and argue this there's a good chance I'm just going to send them $60 on the other hand there are sometimes where I will make a stand just simply out of principle and spend $500 worth of my time not going to work and instead coming in and arguing with them to avoid giving them $60 and if that's the the St and if you think that's a principled stance that you need to make then by all means more power to you but I think the most important point that I want to make here is that there is no Silver Bullet to winning in court there never has been and there never will be so please try to understand the fight that you're in before you put your dukes up I'd also like to add that I don't just argue in court for the sake of arguing or to try to get out of trouble I do it because I've adopted certain philosophies including Frederick bot's philosophy on law he said that life liberty and property do not exist because men have made laws on the contrary it was the fact that life liberty and property existed beforehand that caused men to make laws in the first place in other words law was created to protect life liberty and property or at least to get restitution when life liberty or property is taken what this means is that when the state claims that you owe them money because you broke some arbitrary rule even though you have not taken the life liberty or property of anybody else this isn't really law it's just legalized plunder Frederick bastiat also said that when plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men in a society over the course of time they create for themselves a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that glorifies it and of course many people don't agree with these philosophies I've adopted and that's okay I get that but these are the philosophies and principles that bring me to the conclusion that this business that collects $9 billion a year isn't law but an extortion racket run by criminals and I support anyone's effort to fight against the extortion racket whether they're using my personal favorite method or not
