So, do you recommend I take the back roads like to to like avoid this like type of situation? >> Well, do you know where you're at right now? >> So, right now I would be closer I guess to West Palm, North Lake like area. Um, >> this is North Lake. Yeah, this is North Lake right now. >> Exactly. Sorry. So, so like I was thinking that like you know a Well gas station would be my best bet. But unfortunately those people that the only two people I talked to they um didn't speak English and there's no Wi-Fi available. So like this phone >> Well, Wi-Fi ain't going to fix that. Yeah, but but I I I did I do have an old old old phone that I could potentially I this is never until I go to Apple tomorrow. This is I'm screwed. But I was thinking with the old phone that I have this one that if I connect Wi-Fi, I could just screenshot the directions, you know? >> Maybe I mean >> we can get you in the neighborhood of that area. we can tell you like at least the proper direction to go and maybe you'll start recognizing >> and let me let me know like your suggestions like if you don't think I like should go on the highway because you know like >> well yeah know if you can't see out of the window and I don't those things shouldn't be doing that that's that's no good at all this fog's not on the outside though this is on the inside >> that's why I even said to him I cranked up the heat >> it's well it's because you have the heat on the problem is the temperature is too different >> the heat >> well if you just turn the heat on the heat will burn it off but if you've been riding around like that the whole time with the heat on. >> No, no, no, no. I didn't >> cuz you see how it's on the inside. >> I just had it turned over. >> Yeah. >> Oh, yeah. That'll that'll eventually burn it off. So, where are you coming from tonight? >> So, at first I was um in West Palm. Uh my girlfriend went that was 4 hours ago uh to dinner at Bukan, right? >> Bukan. So, then >> where's that at? >> Um that's in West Palm. And >> like Clatus? >> No. Um I believe so. If I were a Betty man, I would say um more so Paul. >> Uhhuh. So, I tried to get home and this is when this happened, >> right? >> Literally as I'm driving. So, you trying to find your way the whole time? >> The whole time. The whole time. And I can't call anyone. Literally can't call anyone. >> Okay. Well, we'll see. We'll see if we can get you some directions home. How much have you drank today? >> Zero. Like, you haven't had anything at all. >> Not one single thing to drink. >> Have you used any narcotics, cannabis, medication? >> And And I'm not allowed to because of I'm an engineer and they drug test me cuz you're what? >> I'm an engineer and they drug test me every 30 days. Who are you an engineer at? >> I my main contractor is >> Okay. Um you know your license is bad though, right? >> Well, so so I just went um to my court date. Um she said it's good. I just >> Well, even if you go to court, you still got to go to the DMV to get it reinstated. >> The court can tell you it's good all day. >> So I did. She So I have a a letter from uh Brucey. Brucey is the clerk and controller. Yes. So it's all day. >> You have to take that to the DMV though. >> That's not the DMV. Yes. That's the county. That's the county saying that. All right, Gabrielle's good. And >> yes, cuz then you take that letter to the DMV and it lets them know everything's paid so they can reinstate your license. >> It's It's all cash cuz you got to pay to reinstate your license. So, it's just another >> paid $250. >> Well, no. You paid whatever penalties you had. You got to go to the DMV to actually reinstate it. So, I'll be honest with you, Gabrielle. I think you might be under the influence a little bit. All right. >> I swear I I will do a breathalyzer if you aren't. I >> I want to do some standardized field exercises. I can't breathalyze you because you're not under arrest. I just want to do some standardized field sobriety exercise with you. Okay. >> Uhhuh. >> So, go ahead and step out with me. >> Uh, this side or that side? Sorry. >> This side's easier. We got this whole road block off. >> All right. So, come on back over here for me. Do you have any medical condition with your eyes? Not corrected by glasses. >> Oh, yeah. I do wear glasses, but I don't have them on me. >> No. Aside from glasses. Anything else wrong with your eyes? >> Do you have any medical condition that will prevent you from walking in a straight line? >> Nope. Any medical condition that would prevent you from balancing on a foot on one foot? >> Nope. >> Okay. So, I'm going to check your eyes out real quick. Go ahead and bring your feet together, hands to your sides. >> Feet together, hands on my sides. >> Yep. You see this red light? You see it? You're going to follow that red light with your eyes only, and you're going to keep your head still. Do you understand? You understand? Don't move your head. Stay with the light. [Music] >> It's a little disorienting though, like cuz there's that. I promise you I could fully like take a piler and be fine. But okay. [Music] Stay away. [Music] Don't look good. [Music] >> It's giving me like this weird thing out the corner of my eye. >> Sorry, guys. >> No, don't worry. Sorry. [Music] All right, for this next part, I'm going to make some circles around your face. Keep following the light. I'm going to come in real close to your nose. Allow your eyes to cross. Okay, so follow it around. Here we go. All right, cross your eyes one more time. [Music] All right, just hang out with that officer right there for one second for me. It's kind of right out of that stick. Um, we can try it. I can't stand. >> All right, ma'am. If you would come to this side of the line and place your left foot on the line. So, I will say you do have flip flops on. >> I know >> this involves walking heel to toe. Would the flip flops get in the way? >> I mean, they would, but I have no secrets. What am I going to do, you know? >> Well, I mean, you can do it barefoot. No, no, hold on. I got to give you the I got to give you the instructions. I was just giving you the heads up that it's uh that it's able to tell. So, go ahead and place your left foot on the line for me. >> I got to explain the whole thing to you while you're in the the position. >> I'm going to listen. >> Yep. So, place your left foot on the line for me, please. Now, place your right foot in front. Heel touch and arms down to your sides. >> All right. Now, hold that. No, no, no, no. Stop. I got to give you instructions. You got to hold the position while I give you instructions. So, go ahead and back up. Back up to this position. Yep. Arms down. All right. Now, hold that position. Don't start until I tell you. >> When I tell you to begin, you're going to take nine heel to toe steps just like this. 1 2 3 all the way up till nine. Imagine this your ninth step. You're going to leave that front foot where it's at. You're going to take a series of small steps to turn around. And you're going to take nine heel to toe steps back. >> All right. >> Nine counts once I do the first one, >> right? This does not count as like so here. So I'm flexed, right? So yes, >> once I do that, that's one. >> Well, you got you got to stay in the in the starting position. I can't give you instructions without you getting it. >> Okay. So tell me. So bring your arms back. >> One. What's number one? >> I'll tell you. But All right. So now that you're in the starting position once you take that step, that's one. So this doesn't count. Okay. So the first one's one. But again, it's nine heel to toe steps. The turnaround I showed you, nine heel to toe steps back. Once you start, don't stop. Keep your arms down at your sides. Count your steps out loud. Look down at your feet as you walk. And that's pretty much it. Do you have any other question? Oh, hold on. I got to make sure you understand before you start. It's all like standardized. >> Any other questions? >> Okay. You don't have any questions? It's really embarrassing, but yeah. >> All right. Go ahead and begin. [Music] So, that was nine. >> Mhm. >> So, now I'm going to turn around. Okay. >> With the instructions. Yep. All right, for this next exercise, be the one leg stand. So, you go just stay right there. Ignore the line. Uh, face me, bring your feet together, hands to your sides. All right, for this exercise, I'm going to explain it to you, then I'm going to demonstrate it. So, hold all your questions till the end. All right. When I tell you to begin, you're going to raise one foot, either foot, approximately 6 in off the ground. It's about the height of a soda can. While you're doing that, you're going to keep both your knees straight. You're going to point the toes of your raised foot out at me. You're going to look down at your raised foot and you're going to count out loud 1,00 1 1 2 1 100 1 3 and so on until I tell you to stop. The whole time your hands going to be at your sides. If you place your foot down during the exercise, just pick it back up and continue where you left off. >> I'm going to watch you do it first because you're saying something like that. >> Yeah. No, I'm going I'm going to show you. >> I'm going to show you the whole thing. So, go ahead and bring your hands back down to your sides. It's going to go just like this. Watch me. Don't Don't do it. Just watch. Oh >> 1,001 1,002 1,003 1,004 1,005 1,006 1,007 1,008 1,009 1,10. And you're going to keep doing that till I tell you to stop. You see how both my knees are straight? You see how my toes, my right foot are pointed out? >> I'm shaking a little bit, but >> I'm shaking a little bit, but that's fine. All right. So, you see how my legs are, my feet are, >> my hands are on my sides. >> But your hands are right here, just so you know. >> They're on my sides. They're touching my pants. >> Okay. >> Yep. All right. >> And then I'm looking down on my foot. >> That's all you got to do for the entire exercise. >> Do you have any questions about that? >> Nope. >> All right. Go ahead and bring your hands back down to your sides. Yep. Straight down. My elbows are bent, so I got a gun up here. >> All right. No, hold on. I got to set a timer. All right. Go ahead and begin. >> Okay. 1,00 1,002. >> Make sure your knee's straight. >> 100,004. >> Make sure you're looking at your foot. 100, 105 100, 106, 107,0008 100, 109,10 is 11. You said 10, right? >> Keep going. Keep going. >> 1,23,45, 2016, 2017, 18,920. >> Keep going. Keep going. >> You only do that though, >> right? But I'm not doing the exercise. So, I mean, that was pretty much >> Can you do it on the other hand? Can I do that? >> No. No. That was that was pretty much the whole exercise. All right. So, um, for this next exercise, do you know the American alphabet A through Z? >> Yeah. And I can't do it backwards. Not backwards. Not backwards. I promise you. So, what's your highest level in education? >> College. I graduated with an engineering degree. >> Perfect. So, you know ABC's? >> Yes. >> Okay. So, again, you're going to stand with your feet together, hands your sides. Hands down your sides, just like this. All right. And when I tell you to begin, you're going to tilt your head back and you're going to close your eyes and you're going to recite the alphabet for me A through Z slowly and non-riythmically. That means don't sing it and don't skip any letters. It's going to go just like this except I'm going to close I'm not going to close my eyes. It's going to go A B C D E F G and so on all the way through all the way through. >> If you had your hands like this, would you like me to have my hands like this? >> My hands weren't My hands weren't class. My hands were like this. >> Okay. >> They were touching my sides. Oh, close my eyes. Ready? >> Yep. But hold on. Remember, it's A through Z slowly and non-riythmically. No JK element mon. No A B C. No singing it. None of that. Just slowly and non-riythmically all the way through C. >> Ready? >> Do you got any questions about it? You understand what you got to do? >> All right. Go ahead and begin. A B C D E F G H I J K L N O P Q R S T U V W X Y Z. All right. For this last exercise, can you count to 30? I got to ask. >> Absolutely. >> Okay. So, for this one, you're going to stay standing just like you are. When I tell you to begin, you're going to close your eyes. You're going to put you're going to tilt your head back and close your eyes. And sil and silently in your mind, you're going to imagine 30 seconds going by. However you want to count, one Mississippi 1,000, doesn't matter to me. Once you think a 30 seconds have gone by, just open your eyes and say, "Stop." >> So, I'm I'm completely silent. I'm off with my eyes closed. >> Yes. Okay. >> So, head back, eyes closed, completely silent. Once you think 30 seconds are done, just open your eyes and say stop. >> Okay. And standing like this, fine. >> Yep. Standing just like that. Do you have any other questions? All right. Look up, close your eyes, and begin. Heat up here. Think that was 30 seconds. That was 54 seconds. >> I did. Mississippi is very slow. >> Okay. Well, you're being placed under restroom pair driving and >> suspended license. Yes, ma'am. 54. I did every other thing. >> No, you didn't do every other thing. Perfect. >> Can I take a breath? You never >> When you get a chance, but let me let me remind you. Driving under the influence is not just alcohol. It can be narcotics, controlled substances, chemical substances. >> It's not going away. Let me uh call a female out here. >> I said one Mississippi, two, >> right? But I said with 30 seconds though >> female 1015 reference signal one and signal 19 traffic >> Mississippi three Mississippi four Mississippi I did every other thing perfect why can't I do a bra >> you can but we got to go down there to do it but like I said to you >> my car >> we'll take care of your car like I said to you it's not just alcohol for DUI it can be control substance chemical substance anything >> okay we'll go and take a seat in the back of the really like after everything I've been doing like I have no idea >> at the end of the day I told you to do 30 seconds that was it Mississippi >> well I told you however you want move your feet back in so he can Close the door. >> If you give me one more chance, I'll do it regularly.
