please Michael stop back in June of 2021 Texas park ranger Richard Hernandez attacked Mike was sski and then charged him with resisting arrest even though he failed to charge him with something that he was initially under arrest for just recently Mike's charges have been dismissed Ranger Richard Hernandez is no longer with the department but they won't say why he's gone here's what happened Mike and his girlfriend at the time were on their way to South Padre Island to meet some friends they arrived outside of the South Padre Island Access 6 but were unsure if they were in the right access points so they pulled over to the shoulder and walked up to the access point to ask for directions then they made a quick call to their friends to make sure they were in the right place and headed back to the car on foot as soon as they got back to the car a cop pulled up behind them with emergency lights on the cop who they later found out was just a park ranger had no Reasonable articulable Suspicion of a crime or even a traffic infraction so he had no lawful right to detain anyone but the driver handed over his paperwork anyways to avoid a confrontation at some point the ranger noticed some closed beer cans in the vehicle and then lied claiming that he smelled alcohol on the driver the driver informed the ranger that closed alcohol isn't illegal to have in the car only open containers are and that he would be happy to take a breathalyzer test right then and right there but the ranger who had no reasonable articulable suspicion for the Stop in the first place wanted to stuff right there I'm to work with him and I I'll take care of it Michael was arrested and charged with resisting arrest with no other charges he begged multiple officers for a breathalyzer test but they refused to do any field sobriety tests or even a breathalyzer they they never made any attempts to make sure he was sober they simply booked him and charged him with resisting arrest just recently those charges were finally dismissed but I'm sure that if you're like me you're worried about whether or not the girlfriend was dismissed I couldn't be more pleased to inform you that the internet and the court of public opinion has convicted the girlfriend of not being a down ass [ __ ] and Michael has dismissed her with prejudice Michael is now looking for a new girlfriend and attorney to sue Ranger Hernandez but he might possibly be pass the statute of limitations on the lawsuit if he is able to Sue I will give you an update when that case settles in the meantime check out
