the moment Bay Area investigators have been waiting on for a year News Channel 8 was there as suspected serial bank robber Anthony moresca faced a judge today moresa is the suspect in eight bank robberies across Three Counties plus he is a suspect in a murder investigation new channel is canace macowan is joining us live outside the pelis county jail where moresa is locked up tonight hello Candace yeah good evening Keith investigators have been anxious to catch up with Anthony moresa for a while now and he's been successfully dodging deputies for months we've been looking for Anthony Anthony moresa for the past year uh he suspected in the murder of Billy Scher back in May of 2014 so our deputies have been looking for him for some time now when investigators in Pasco County began looking for Anthony moresa last May this is the picture they released but several months later once several bank robberies began across pelis Pasco and Hernando County they suspected moresa wasn't this brownhair Slender Man any longer he has obviously he knew that we were searching for him and because of that he did change appearances probably numerous times from November of 2014 to just last month investigators couldn't catch moresa but they tell his cameras at the mini Banks they claim he robbed caught him in action he was much heavier a lot more gray but with a brown mustache and a gun unfortunately he has been busy in that capacity earlier this week pelis County deputies found the elusive robbery suspect they tell us in a hotel our detectives have active ly been search um and conducting their investigation since the initial bank robbery began and the need to keep moresa locked up was clear as he appeared in court Tuesday your bond is $300,000 per judge web who has said we should not consider reducing it and so far maresa is facing four charges of arm robbery in penelas County one count for arm robbery and Pasco County he's yet to be charged for those other bank robberies in places like Fernando and he hasn't been charged for that murder in which he suspected in Keith well Candace I know you also reached out to the family of the murder victim what is their reaction to this arrest we reached out to them today but we are told by neighbors that the wife of that victim has since left the area after her husband was murdered Keith Candace maowen live at pelis County tonight thank you
