shut up get right over here I don't get who you are get on your knees this is how it has to be you know how many people are involved in this I guess we're supposed to take care of it yeah we are yeah I've been doing this for six and a half years bro and if I came to your county and I put you in this position I'll take you home like you take me home after your sergeant shows up on scene and everybody's got cameras this is Mommy day baby we take care of you like this is this is what we're supposed to do I know that's what we're supposed to do but unfortunately I can't do that I know we're supposed to take care of each other and cover up each other's crimes unfortunately and everybody's got cameras everyone's got cameras have you ever wondered why some cops and departments fought so hard against body cameras and now continue the fight as hard as they can against citizens recording police the only thing a camera can do is show the facts and events in an unbiased way and that is why so many departments and officers fight so hard against it let me know in the comments do you think this cop would have been let go if what he did wasn't caught on camera on the evening of July 10 2022 a Florida Keys deputy he parked on the side of the road in his marked unit noticed a white four-door sedan blow past him at a high rate of speed he immediately activated his emergency lights and attempted to pull the vehicle over at the time he was unaware that the driver of the speeding car was a sovereign citizen which is described by the FBI as an individual who doesn't believe that they are or should be accountable to the laws of our society the FBI describes these people as the biggest threat to America today the vehicle attempts to elude police at speeds over 100 miles an hour almost crashing multiple times before finally coming to a stop [Music] up over here walk right here shut the [ __ ] up get right over here then you'll listen to me when I tell you to get on your [ __ ] knees player there you used to work for Miami-Dade stand there be quiet don't say another word you hear me in any other case like this the suspect is rather Miranda rights told that they have the right to remain silent and then questioned the goal in questioning the suspect is to get them to admit guilt making it easier for the prosecutor to obtain a conviction in this case the officer traded the suspect like a friend telling him not to speak and then walking away you can see and feel the level of discomfort the officers have with making this arrest I've never seen cops show this level of discomfort before when arresting a non-police officer who's suspected of being drunk and just ran from the police why a criminal is a criminal right they should all be treated equally right this was the first indication to me that these deputies would likely let this cop go if they thought that they could get away with it let me know in the comments is it just me or are you seeing this too stand there yeah be quiet don't say another word you hear me look at this cool sounds of course of course we gotta check this car first there's there's guns radios and all kinds of shoes what's up man what's going on I haven't seen you in a bit yeah holy [ __ ] [ __ ] he's for Real Jesus what Sarge I can't see it well that wasn't not when he passed me no he's drunk did you turn that did you turn that on or it was on um son of a [ __ ] and uh well you guys want to do what we got to do what Casey Do you have a let's do this by the books do you happen to have a Miranda card wait a minute shouldn't every arrest be conducted by the book at what point did he decide he wouldn't do this by the book and then at what point did he change his mind and decide that he would I think the conversation later on was pretty revealing where the criminal cop says that cops are supposed to take care of each other the arresting cop agrees but points out that there's a lot of people involved in this and a lot of cameras so if the allegedly drunk cop and immediately pulled over and no more units had been called in is this one of those deputies that would have turned off his camera and made a few cell phone calls to cover up for a fellow boy in blue I suppose we'll never know for sure because there were too many cameras and too many people present to really consider a cover-up Casey do you have a let's do this by the books do you happen to have a Miranda card foreign Donovan what's your first name don't say anything just yet understanding you know how this goes yeah yeah I don't wanna be quiet before I ask you any questions you must understand your rights you have the right to remain silent anything you say can be used against you in court you have the right to talk to a lawyer for advice before we ask you any questions you have a right to have a lawyer with you during questioning cannot afford a lawyer one will be appointed for you before any questioning it if you wish if you decide to answer questions now without a lawyer present you have the right to stop answering at any time do you understand each other these rights I have explained to you I get it brother with these rights in mind do you wish to talk to me now I'm not saying okay I feel you're impaired me yeah no okay are you willing to perform field sobriety I success to dispel my suspicions okay is this an agency vehicle yes sir this is his agency car it's an agency car exactly I just asked him I haven't run the tag I just got here um so she doesn't want to talk refuses feel sobriety exercises absolutely he's [ __ ] up all right let's thank you that's what it is all right I will notify what are we gonna do you want a rotation or what are we going to do with the car we're going to do rotation okay by everything agency related yeah we need to take a store because I don't want to be responsible for in-cars Firearms yep uh whatever you get here's a box you can toss all his stuff okay that we need to take I'm gonna take him to the rough if if you just want to drop it off or well how can I help you yeah so I'll leave this here so you have somewhere to put everything I think so so everything like agencies yeah this is an 80. I was right there with you guys rest in a cup Jesus [ __ ] crazy at this point I don't think it could be any more clear he articulated to his buddy that he didn't realize this was a cop when he tried to stop him is he trying to insinuate that had he known this guy was a cop he would have refused to enforce the law I mean I was right there with you guys what's your name bro the rest in a cup Jesus [ __ ] crazy after arriving at the station to be booked in the suspected drunk officer Donovan Rojas who fled from police at speeds of over a hundred miles per hour makes one last plea for a cover-up the arresting officer doesn't claim that he refuses to help cover it up because Rojas did something wrong he claims that he unfortunately can't help out Rojas because too many people were involved that had cameras visit houses you know how many people are involved in this yeah we are yeah I've been doing this for six and a half years bro and if I came to your county and I put you in this position I'll take you home like you took me home after your sergeant shows up on scene and everybody's got cameras this is one of the day baby we take care of you like this this is what we're supposed to do I know that's what we're supposed to do but unfortunately I can't do that Rojas is later seen in the interrogation room covered in gang tattoos refusing a breathalyzer test it's hard to tell exactly what he might be thinking in this moment but if I had to take a guess I'd say it's I hate truth I hate transparency and I hate cameras after refusing the breathalyzer is put back in the cop car and given his phone own so he can make some calls the camera in the patrol car catches him on a phone call with his father crying to his father that they do [ __ ] different out here call the PBA for me please call the PBA for me please don't call me because I don't know whether it's a blow or not well I'm gonna get booked I'm gonna get bullied it's different over here the PBA is the police benevolent Association a police officers Association and from what I've seen he definitely has the right idea trying to call them police officer associations usually protect bad cops while destroying the careers of the good ones fortunately for the public and unfortunately for him there was just too many people with cameras involved in this not even the PBA could help he was booked for DUI and relieved of his duties at Miami-Dade Police Department click the link here to see a video about police associations
