Go back to your job. I am I am It's dealing with you now. You just made it dealing with I'm watching you film my officer in a car that's interfering. So, I've been working on a documentary on a handful of guys in Tucson, Arizona that have spent the last few years documenting police activity and the corruption within the city of Tucson. As part of that documentary, I've been following them around, documenting them, documenting the government. On the evening of June 21st, 2025, I experienced the bullying and harassment that these men have been experiencing for the last few years. Courts have affirmed on numerous occasions, including in the Ninth Circuit of Appeals, which covers the state of Arizona, that citizens have the right to record and document police in their official capacity. But no matter how many court rulings go in favor of the people, police continue to bully, harass, intimidate, and even physically attack people for recording them. As I approached to record Roy recording a traffic stop, the police officer immediately started blinding my camera with the spotlight on his car. I didn't realize at first why, but he was only blinding me and didn't seem to care that Roy was there. When I watched the video back, I realized that as we walked up, I was holding up an actual camera and Roy was holding his phone down discreetly by his side. And this proves something that I've said for a long time. Police don't care how close you get to them or how close you get to their traffic stop or how long you stand there. just so long as you don't record them. I had to fix some settings on my camera, so I crouched down behind the car to avoid being blinded while doing so. As soon as I stood back up, the harassment and bullying continued. Nobody's even said a word to this cop. As soon as he sees me again though, he just wants to pick a fight and cause problems. I shine my own light back at him. He decides that the golden rule is not fitting and that people should not treat him the way he treats other people. Hey, what's your YouTube gentlemen? Can I help you? No. Okay. You seem to be having an issue here. You seem to be having an issue shining that light in my face. Yes. Okay. So, dude, you're coming up on this stop traffic stop. Go back. Go back to your job. I am. I am. It's dealing with you now. You just made it dealing with Go back to your job. Okay. I am. You're doing great, guys. Yeah. You're You're really doing a service for the community. Hey. Hey. Out of the street. You shut your mouth. Don't come up. Come here, boy. Come here, boy. You wonder why cops get shot? That's probably why. Because you treat people like that. Sorry. Huh? Yeah, he's blinding me with his light, too. Mark Brown walks up and tells us that he heard the cop calling for backup on the scanner, claiming that somebody was shining a light at him. Said, "I can't stand in the street, but he can." Yeah. Right. He made you stand right there, didn't he? In between two cars. For our safety, don't stand in the street. He'll put you in between two. Did he make you stand right there? Just tell me to stand right here down for guns. got you for expired registration. Yeah, I was telling him I had my car in the shop for like 3 months and I just got it back. So, just completely spaced it. But yeah, May of 2025. You feel like he's doing you a good service here? I mean, when he pulled me over, he got me out. He just pulled me kind of pulled me out the car. Pulled you out of the car? Well, he didn't like He told me to get out the car. Did he say why? Um, back up. You don't have to You don't have to talk to him. Don't interfere. You guys can do all you want. Shut up, Tippy Hat. I'm not like the other guys. I will win in court. Okay, dude. Shut up. Shut up. The backup cop is officer lunchby. He was given the nickname Tippy Hat by another cop watcher years ago because of the old school police hat that he wears. A lot of the cop watchers like him, but I could see straight through him from the first time I met him years ago. I told them all way back then though, "Watch out. This guy is dangerous. He's got a bad temper, a gross misunderstanding of the law, and a belief that you have to do anything and everything he tells you to. They thought he acted good for the camera, but I saw right through it, and I knew eventually he'd show his true colors to everyone. Tonight would be that night. You have some enemies just drove by. What? Some enemies just drove by. They were saying about you just now. Please keep your hands where I can see them, man. What are you doing? I want you to back up over that way. Put your hands where I can see. I want you to back up over my car. I'm going to back back up over to my car. Oh, I'm on a sidewalk, bro. Yeah. Okay. Well, I have to control this area. So, I'm telling you to back up over this way. Control this area. Don't touch me. Don't touch me again. I'm telling you to back up that way. Tippy hat. Tippy hat. Relax. This is how cops No, you you don't want to do this. No, I'm not listening to you. You're not controlling. What's wrong with you? Go do Go do your traffic stop. Don't touch me, mother. Hey, this is this is why bad things happen. Then you listen to me. I want you to stand back at my car and you can film all you want, but right now I'm controlling the scene, not you. I'm walking. I'll walk. Where's the scene at? Right here where this car is and this stop car is over there. Go over that way or over that way. Under threat of arrest. If you interfere, yes. Under threat of arrest. Yes or no? Go back to your work. D I'm watching you film my officer in a car that's interfering. Stand over there. Stand over there. Are you [ __ ] Go down the street. Are you [ __ ] [ __ ] man? Why are you bullying me? What's wrong with you? Why is your hands in your pockets? What are you doing? Are you I don't see hands in your pockets. What's wrong with you? Are you not wearing your glasses? Go do your job. Cuz my hands I'm doing my job. I'm doing my job. Put your hands on me again. Stop trying to escalate, Tippy Hat. There's nothing going on. Just relax. Just relax. Stop trying to cause problems. I'm not We know what you're doing. You're trying to get You're trying to get a rise out of us and it's not going to happen. That's the very last thing I want you. Then back up. Let's give each other let's give each other arms. That's what you're trying to do. Let's be No, I'm trying to document stuff, man. You can document from over there. You don't have to have him get in the officer's window. And you know that. Just stay back. You absolutely know that. Just stay back. Stop trying to escalate. Are you hungry? Did you miss a meal? I'll buy you. You're always chill. You're usually chill. You want me to buy you dinner? So you You know damn well I'm chill. And you know damn well I'm kind of so what's going on? Because I'm over here trying to control the scene. He's sticking his face in the officer's window. I've never seen you act like this. What do you need? Are you hungry? I'll buy you a burger. I'm dead serious, bro. You I've never seen you act like this before. You guys to chill out. You can stand here and film all you want. We are chill, man. But you need to do it from a distance that I feel safe. Your feet on the sidewalk. Serious. Look, man. Your feelings have nothing to do with this, bro. But again, if you feel hungry and that makes you if you're not you and you're hungry, I will I'm dead serious. I'll buy you a burger, dude. You know damn well that's not what's going on. I know damn well that is what's going because I've dealt with you a hundred times and I've stood I've stood shouldertosh shoulder with you and not had a problem with you pushing people and putting a hand hands on people. So something's different tonight. I'm telling you I get it. When I get hungry, bro, I get crazy. I get it. I'm not kidding, bro. If you need to eat, I will buy after this stop. What do you want? Waterburgry. I'm serious. I get it. Ask my wife. Dude, I get hungry and I just I'm mad at everything. Is that what's up? No, you know what's up. He's the problem. He's not a problem. Yes, I'm the problem. Cuz you guys are standing here and I'm talking and I see him over here in this guy's window and I don't need that. Leave the officer alone to do his job. Don't stick your face in his window. Everything else is fine. He's doing his job. You said filming within the inside of his window was interfering. Is that Am I correct on that? In case you didn't realize, officers don't like you coming up to their car and going to the window. What you like, mother? That's what I'm talking about. A pig with me with a gun in my face. You keep telling me that I'm escalating. He's escalating anytime you want. Leave him alone then. Anytime I want. Yeah. As in what? You keep talking like that. As in what though? Anytime I want what? What are you going to do? You're a tough guy. You want to do something? You're a tough guy. I know. The difference between me and you is you got qualified immunity though and you got that bull state certification to be a slave whipcracker mother. I actually haven't gotten a video of Tucson police acting up in probably three or four years, man. Until right now. Why? Why, man? Just tell. Look, after this stop, just tell them. We come out, we record, we do our thing, we don't interfere. Just stop, boy. Your homeboy over here, as soon as we walked up is intentionally blinding us with his light, trying to cause a Just stop. Okay. You when you guys don't try to cause problems with us, nothing happens. We document what's going on. We go home. You and you know that I'm not looking for trouble with you guys. You and you know that all I want is if you guys want to do your thing, do your thing. Just don't interfere with the officer in the stop. But when he's going up to the window and making the officer feel for his safety, then I have to do something about it. You know what? You know what should make an officer fear for his safety? The way he treated us. Okay. I wasn't If I were him, I would if I were all of you guys, I would stop. Do you see how many cops are just getting blasted on as soon as they walk up to traffic stops lately? I'm dead serious, man. Okay. It's happening. It didn't used to happen. There was two in New Mexico just in the last couple of months. One in Florida. You walk up to a car and boom, that's it. People are sick of being treated like [ __ ] And I'm Don't get me wrong, man. I I'm I don't condone that activity, but I can see why it happens. You don't see why. I don't We don't care what you what we don't care to see your perspective anymore. We've been forced to see your perspective for the last few decades. We're tired of it. Okay. People want to be left alone. See, I'm going to do what he pushed him for. Watch. He pushed him for doing this. We call him Tippy Hat for the last seven years. How's it going tonight, man? Doing all right, man. Hip hurts. But what's that? I said my hip hurts, but it's my Friday, so What happened to your hip? I don't know. wearing this belt maybe. Yes, we were that camera crew member last time. I thought I thought you were doing a documentary on I was. Yeah. Yeah. I didn't bring all the whole rig tonight. Yeah. Are you going to submit it somewhere? Uh no, I published it myself. Yeah, we just published one on Cerita uh yesterday. Okay. Hear about the pipe there. Yeah, I did. That's why. Excuse my language. Is that somebody? Guess what? That's just signal. He's been disarmed already. He has stolen his gun. But you know what? The the situation matters, right? But right now, you don't get to decide what the situation is. Yeah, I do. We decide what the situation is. And right, I wanted you guys to stay over here and leave him to do his job. That's all I want. Yeah. No, I get to decide the situation and you'll learn that one day. You know, possibly you'll you'll learn it. People are getting tired of you guys deciding the situation arbitrarily. We're not We're not uh Well, so it's not good for somebody to be able to protect himself against, let's just say, a bad cop for our safety. Well, there's no bad cops here. I mean, you guys have been right. Yeah, there's one right here. Hey, boss. There is one right here. Yeah. No. Yeah. He keeps he keeps trying to blind us with his words for no reason. There's a lot. But and obviously you guys are well aware of all your rights and all that kind of stuff and obviously duty to cooperate and all that good stuff. Correct. Duty to cooperate. Yes. You know what that is, right? Is that like when you say pull down your pants and show me your bum hole? I have I'm serious. Like what where does it I'm not trying to be condescent. When does it begin and end then? The duty to cooperate. So the duty to cooperate would be cooperating with our investigation. That's it. giving us a reasonable distance but continuing to maintain your right to record, right? Mhm. Sure. All those things are in place. These sound like re things that reasonable people would do. Would a reasonable person try to blind me with the brightest light on his car as I walk up? No, that's not what I'm saying. But you know what I'm trying to explain, right? In the context of what I'm trying to explain. And I've never had any problems with most of you guys because most of you guys haven't done this stuff to me in probably four or five years. That was about the last time this happened, I think. Yeah. Yeah. I don't think I've ever met you before. It was about four or five years ago the last time thing really hit the fan with you guys and it be and it was because of exactly what this guy was doing just trying to antagonize trying to blind our cameras you know and I get him needing to see us. Look how well lit this area had nothing to do with that. But all I want to make sure is is that he has a reasonable room to work and we're safe. That's it. That's all unreasonable people don't though. Unreasonable here to make sure you guys are safe and he's safe and that's it. Unreasonable people don't you don't get to be reasoned with. I got some photos. Apologize if I didn't identify myself. Sergeant 505. Hey, I got some photos. You want me to send them to you? Tucson.gov. Okay, I got you. You want me to send them to you? Yes, sir. Some might like them and throw them on your Facebook profile or something. I don't have Facebook. Good for you. Throw them on your ex profile. No, no ex profile either. It's bad for business. None of those profiles are are what I got. That's for sure. All right, we're leaving. All right. Hey, don't pick a fight next time. Okay, man. I'm serious. Don't pick any more fights. If you want to fight, you want to fight. Are you looking for a fight, sir? Don't pick any more fights. Have a good night. I always have good nights and good days, good afternoons, good mornings. Have the night you deserve. We We ended up with one, two, three, four. We ended up with five Tucson police units for expired registration because people were recording it. You ever wonder why your crimes aren't being solved in Tucson? Just maybe it's because they're sending five cops to write a ticket for expired registration rather than solving rapes and murders. But of course, nothing they ever say, do, or don't do is ever their fault. It's always somebody else's. Go back to your job. I am. I am. It's dealing with you now. You just made it dealing with this is over. You didn't have to do this. You You forced our hand. You forced our
