Look at the hard on this guy's got for me, though. I'm talking to the other officer and he walks up and tries to chest bump me. So, I play ring around the Rosie and he starts chasing me. So, Roy asks him why he's got such a heart on for the ginger and he gets mad at Roy. No matter how much all the cameramen and the other two cops try to avoid a conflict, he won't stop begging for someone to fight him. This stop has been over for at least a minute or two, but he's so obsessed with trying to find someone to hurt that he doesn't even have a clue what's going on around him. On the evening of August 2nd, 2025, the Tucson police were running homeless people off of private property. When we arrived to record and document what was going on, just like the show Cops does, they called for a backup unit. You need a water, man? You need a water? Yeah. Let me grab you one real quick. Be right back, man. See, can I grab my drink? All right, be right back. I just realized they've been in the car all day and it it's warm, man. >> I'm sorry. I don't that work though. What's up, man? >> Good. >> I try to get close enough so that my microphone can pick up the audio between the cop and the gentleman. In the meantime, one of the cops tells my buddy Mark to move. Mark says, "Okay." And then stays there. >> What's that? >> I said you're free to record if you still step behind the car. >> Yeah. You'll >> be surprised some people do. So, you're going to do whatever you're doing. You just need to step back. >> Oh, I They asked me to be uh to take all the notes on everything. >> Who did? >> What's that? >> Who did? >> Oh, the boss. >> Okay, that's fine. Look, can you just step back there for me? I can't have you around here while she's searching. >> Oh, no. No. She Well, they that's what they told me to do. >> Okay. I'll show what they told you. You going to ask you to step back there? No, but they told me to make sure I can get audio. >> Who did? >> Uh, the boss. >> Who is the boss? >> Uh, Val. >> Okay, do me a favor. Step back that way. You feel free to record. Just step back. >> Is it a favor? >> No, it's not a favor. It's a lawful order to step back. I cannot have you around her while she's doing this. Just step back. >> Am I going to get arrested if I don't? >> Can you step back? >> Am I going to get arrested if I don't? Yes or no? >> Yes, I will put you in handcuffs. I'm the scene. We're about to leave right now. >> I'm just asking bring them out so that we can settle this now and here so that the next time I show up on the call, shut up. If I need you to speak, I'll tell you what to say. You understand? >> That's fine. Have a good night. >> I always have a good night. If if we wanted to hurt you, you'd be hurt. Nobody wants to hurt you. >> When you act like that, though, it makes people want to hurt you. >> Thank you, man. Thank you for being chill. >> Pop that air bubble, bro. >> Hey, keep him. >> Is he in this one with the lights on? >> Yeah, he in this one. >> Yeah. Yeah, he's in this one. Boom. Oh [ __ ] Oh [ __ ] Sorry. Now check out this breakdown of what happened from the angle of Tucson to tag. It's going to destroy the narrative that this cop needs me to back up for safety. As a matter of fact, it's going to show that this officer would allow a fellow officer to be harmed because he's being blinded by his ego. In 1995, the Ninth Circuit, which covers Arizona, affirmed the right to record police as police activity as a matter of public interest. That decision was later solidified in 2018 in Asens v. Department of Homeland Security. But no matter how many courts affirm the right to record the police, police are constantly looking for ways to stop you. They'll claim that, oh, sure, you have the right to record, but you can't be close enough to see or hear anything because our safety. If your camera is not picking up video and audio of what's going on, you're not recording the police. Now, if you remember, initially this cop came up and told me I have to back up because I was too close to the female officer. And upon review of my footage, I was closer to her than I realized. Was I interfering with her doing her job, though? No, not at all. Clearly, she was carrying out her duties just fine with me right there. And I still wasn't even as close as the cameraman in some of the most recent episodes of Cops. This is a still frame from an episode released just two weeks ago where about four cops are on top of a guy who's trying to pull out a gun on them. There's hardly a worse situation a cop can get into. But even in this situation, it's okay for the cameraman to be 2 or 3 feet away. So, what is the difference between me and the group of guys I'm out with and the guys who film for cops that are allowed to be close enough to see and hear everything that's going on? Well, I've heard people say, "Well, they know who the guys are that are filming for cops." Eh, yeah, but they know who we are, too. As a matter of fact, Officer Schwinn with the Tucson Police Department just two weeks ago proudly declared on camera that he knows who all of us are. He knows our names, our addresses, our social security numbers, and everything about us. And it's true because they've unlawfully arrested every single one of us for recording them. And upon arresting us, got all of our personal information and backgrounds. So, why are some people allowed to record the police from wherever they know they can get the best shot from, and others are told they have to record from exactly where the police tell them they have to stand? The answer is narratives. They know that if the TV show Cops catches them doing something they shouldn't be doing, that footage will never see the light of day. But that if we catch them doing something they're not supposed to do, it's going to be blasted all over social media. At this point, he shows he was never worried about his fellow officer's safety, though, and that he knows that none of us are going to hurt him. We're just going to record. How do we know that? Because he completely abandons her to try to get a date with me. Look at how many times he tries to kiss me. But Roy and I entertain the guy who wants to get a date with me while Tucson to tag tries to get a date with her. If I wanted to hurt your head, I don't want to hurt. >> If I wanted to hurt you, you'd be dead. >> Okay. >> I don't want to hurt you. >> You want to do the hot chip challenge? >> Huh? >> You want to do the hot chip chip challenge? It's the the like the uh habanero chip. The hot one. >> I think Takis are spicy. >> Oh, okay. Your partner did it last weekend. That's why we're trying to just see if we can get to show him off. You know what I mean? >> He He was >> He was awesome. Can I get your name and badge number? >> Yeah, Larry. >> Thank you. But yeah, we want to show like kind of get one of you guys to show your partner up like, "Hey, you know, I I can do it too, bro." You know, but hey, we gave uh a awesome awesome man. Just like right now conversation we're having. Everything's good except for what's going on. Everything was awesome. >> Look at the hard on this guy's got for me, though. I'm talking to the other officer and he walks up and tries to chest bump me. So, I play ring around the Rosie and he starts chasing me.
