the absolute most important thing is Officer safety I just want to get down to his level of training okay so you're trying to be empathetic at the sacrifice of your officer safety look in the mirror and ask yourself can I kill a kid can I shoot a grandma can I shoot a mom can I shoot a dad can I shoot a brother why is it so hard you're in the wrong profession my friend if you can't live with that how many of you made that decision one out of seven how many brothers do you have out here how many sisters they mean less to you than some a mental subject you go home you Soul search and you figure it out and if that question hasn't been answered tomorrow I suggest you don't come back the absolute most important thing is Officer safety hey everybody it's James Freeman today I just got a little short one for you with a tip that just may save your life or the life of a loved one I was watching a police pursuit video in which the police had set up a scenario that was going to result in almost certain Serious injury or death to innocent civilians most of these innocent civilians probably think that police keep them safe and therefore believed that wherever the police told them to park they'd be fine we know that often police Pursuits end in crashes that also involve innocent civilians who had nothing to do with the scenario and in most of those crashes there was nothing that the innocent civilian could have done but in this particular scenario you can see it coming a mile away and when you see it you need to get out now sometimes police chases involve a suspect that's an immediate threat to the lives of the public these are the only police chases that should occur because once the chase starts the chase itself is an immediate threat to the lives of the general public so if there wasn't any immediate threat before the Chase has now created one so in the chase that I was watching I do believe the chase was justified and this man needed to be stopped immediately because allegedly he had already ran multiple vehicles and refused to stop so he's already shown Reckless disregard for human life multiple times and so we can only assume that if we let him keep going he's going to keep doing it so Colorado State Police managed to get the suspect stopped and they put him in the back of a state police cruiser don't move don't move [Music] don't move you got him got me I have a vehicle out of the vehicle [Applause] lift up okay what the [ __ ] going on just feed it [Music] someone can potentially serial number foreign [Music] get the information on all the victims and it's up to you because it was your Pursuit if you want it um so the agency has said it's an agency that says basically for a Pursuit so it started with the crash yeah that's the only reason we got involved in Dallas oh [ __ ] thank you hello you just stole the patrol car [Music] the suspect manipulates his handcuffed hands from the back of his body to the front climbs into the driver's seat and steals the police cruiser they forced oncoming traffic on the left side of the road to pull over and sit there waiting then they deploy a spike strip that's almost certain to cause a crash at these speeds with these civilian vehicles on the side of the road you got skis in it good sticks luckily the cruiser hit the trailer of the 18-wheeler rather than the cab or one of the cars that was forced to sit there and wait for this inevitable crash luckily none of the innocent civilians were seriously injured in the crash but setting up a scenario like this is just rolling the dice on people's lives what if the officer's Wife and Kids pulled up in a car to sit in this line waiting for an inevitable crash do you think the officer would have encouraged his wife to stay there or do you think he would have encouraged her to get the hell away I'm not going to sit here and tell you that police think that their life is worth more than yours even if you're completely innocent of anything but I will let them tell you that in this inside view of police training the absolute most important thing is Officer safety I just want to get down to his Level Training okay so you're trying to be empathetic at the sacrifice of your officer safety look in the mirror and ask yourself can I kill a kid can I shoot a grandma can I shoot a mom can I shoot a dad can I shoot a brother why is it so hard you're in the wrong profession my friend if you can't live with that how many of you made that decision one out of seven how many brothers do you have out here how many sisters they mean less to you than some a mental subject you go home you Soul search and you figure it out and if that question hasn't been answered tomorrow I suggest you don't come back and it's not like police setting up innocent motorists to be seriously injured or killed was a one-time thing they do this all the time so when you see a police roadblock like this don't be a Sitting Duck get the hell out of there [Music] sometimes a spike strip causes collateral damage oh God oh my God only oh my god oh no what the f uck this is what makes spike strips dangerous the absolute most important thing is Officer safety look I don't care if you love all cops no matter what or hate all cops no matter what or somewhere in between the fact of the matter is that police are truly trained to believe that their safety is the only thing that matters therefore if you are concerned about your safety you need to understand what their mentality is the absolute most important thing is Officer safety you and your family are just collateral damage
