What? Green is with >> He's down on the bus. He's going to the bus to meet with the other. >> Thank you. >> What's going on? >> She said what? >> What does that mean? And this this thing >> snapping at you. >> Yes. >> Did she say anything to you? >> Yeah. I was sitting here with my things and then he approached and start like this and I just like see her and then I had my back here and she just like something and like like what is your problem? And then she started like yelling something at me and she was here and I like push her away like I don't want nothing with you. And then she started hitting me and I try to defend myself then some friends came to me and like tried to separate also a woman came and that's what happened. >> Okay. How did she hit you? >> Like I don't know like those punch. >> Where did she hit you? in the arm. See in the face like >> Okay. >> All right. Do you know this person? >> Never met her before. >> I just started work two days before. >> You what? >> I started work two days before. >> Okay. >> Oh, so you're new here? >> Yeah. >> You want to press charges? >> You want to press charges? >> Yes. >> Okay. Have a statement. Is >> that the video? >> Yeah. >> Paper towel. Thank >> you. >> We've only got the one call. No, it didn't. You want her on this one, right? >> Yeah. >> So, >> kind of behind everybody. >> Yeah. So you can grow right behind the other side. >> Can you smile? Smile. You >> stand for me. >> You said your lip was >> there anything else. >> I feel like you got hit anywhere else. Commander dizziness. >> Yeah. Problem is so grainy far away. It's like hard to really like >> we have any witnesses or people that are willing to be witness. >> Yeah. But are they willing to give me a state? I I just saw her bleeding and she was getting upset and I stopped because they were all just staring. >> What's your name? >> Ala, >> do you have your ID? Is it on your neck? >> What happened to your neck up here? >> Not from today or was that okay? Okay. >> Um, so that Orlando Police Department form just right under right here. Just print your name and then just tell me what happened. I know you already kind of verbally told me what happened, but just write down what happened. Just try to be as specific as possible. Um, anything she said to you, all that kind of stuff. Um, is your fingernail is that from today too or >> um and then at the end just put on there that you want to press charges. >> Okay. >> Huh? Okay. Yeah. When I get back here, when I got her here, I saw her hitting the other girl. >> Okay. >> For no reason because she asked women that the other girl. >> Were you there at the beginning? >> The other girl said that she was just sitting there minding her own business and this girl like walked up to her like she wanted her to get up or something. >> Walked up was like her and this girl started hitting her. I need to get >> Can I get your name and stuff real quick? >> They got it. Yeah, they got >> they get a phone number for you. >> Yeah, they have the ID. The ID. When When do you work back here again? >> Tomorrow. >> Tomorrow? Yes. Okay. >> We got all his contact info in the green shorts. You guys give them a safar. >> Yes. >> I mean it's not great. >> See everything. >> What? >> He has one apparently. You saw everything last. >> I mean it's it's zoomed in potato quality camera but you can >> Yeah, that's the same thing I saw >> from uh the high point now. Yeah. So that's the same one. >> Doesn't really show cuz there's like other people around. So, it's kind of hard to see like what exactly happened. >> Unfortunately, the ones that are right above it aren't required. >> That's what I was going to say. Y'all have a camera out here. >> Cameras over there. >> They're fighting with a network issue with services. >> Was there any employees working that saw it happen? I know we have a bunch of employees here, but >> who's the one that recorded it? >> Uh, I just I just got informed of it and so I know he was in that. Yeah. >> What's your name? >> Charlene. >> Charlene. >> Yes, sir. >> My name is Officer Stanley with Orlando Police Department. Um, obviously >> something happened here today. Um, sir, >> do you care to give your version of it? >> No, not at all. Um, so essentially what took place, I was here for some time. I got the day off uh because of some issues with having my bags. They weren't fitting in the locker room. I I tried to do some things, ended up here. Before I took off, I wanted to make sure I had a plan before I left. So, I've just been contemplating, just making sure I had something to do before I just reacted and just said, you know, get on the bus. So, I've been here for a little bit and people have been coming and going. >> Um, lastly, there was >> How long is a little bit? >> I've been here since it's what? I don't even know what time is it. I don't have my phone on me >> right now. It's almost 5:00. >> I've been here since about 3:00 now. I went to the bus stop. >> Yeah. for about a couple hours or so because I didn't want to just leave and go someplace without picking it out first. So, and it's Sunday, so most of the bus is going on all day. But either way, long story short, um after two women left, this Hispanic lady came down, sat beside me, and well, she wasn't sitting beside me, but she was sitting beside my belongings. And I came from the bike rack, and I asked her to move her bag, and she just stared at me. I asked her a few times. She just stared at me. So, I moved her bag and then she put her hands on me and then I hit her back >> and then it escalated from there. >> Why did she need to move her bag? >> It was on my stuff and I was just like, "Hey, can you move your stuff?" I didn't want to be rude and just I didn't want to I'm the type I don't like I don't I just I just didn't want to be in her space. So, I was like, "Hey, can you just move your bag real quick? Can you grab my stuff?" type kind of thing and just go. But, she just kept staring at me. And so, I moved her bag and then I went to get my bag and then that's my blue bag was actually on the floor just a moment ago. But that's essentially what happened. I just wanted to move her bag. It wasn't that serious. >> How did you move her bag? >> I just moved it. So if this was this was her bag, I moved and that's when she hit me. >> All right. >> She hit you or push you. >> It happened fast and my adrenaline was pretty good. So yeah, I know I know I did hit her back. I know that much. And I I like I told the other security officer, I wish I would have did more. I'm not going to lie to you. But I did. I held back. I have discipline, but it was impulse. It was just reaction to generally. But I know I was here first, so >> you said you got her ID already. >> Yeah, she had a US. I >> Where do you live at? >> I got evicted. So, right now, uh, like last night, I got to work early and I changed into my uniform and I just needed park services and so I started my shift. >> When you say her bag was on your stuff, what do you mean? >> So, it was just like on my stuff kind of like that. It wasn't that serious, but I was like >> like touching it. >> Yeah. So I was like, "Can you move your stuff?" And she just kept staring at me. >> Why not just like move your stuff away from hers? >> You could have done that as well. >> That would be the easiest thing to do, right? >> Yes, sir. >> I mean, obviously, she wasn't uncomfortable with it. I wasn't hurting your property. >> Yes, sir. I could have handled it differently, guess. So she says, I mean, their stories pretty much match essentially, but the girl upstairs basically like she was just sitting there, girl came up and started like snapping her finger on her face and then like smacked her bag out of the way. And then she said, I'm like, "What the heck?" And then this girl started screaming at her. So she like just cuz she was like in her face. So she just like pushed her back and then this girl started punching her and stuff like that. >> Yeah. trying to trying to do anything. >> Oh yeah. Trying to figure out like probably um um like my car. Yeah, she she pretty much admitted the same thing. She and the whole like Yeah, I would have hit her more like >> Yeah. It's not making even if someone moves your bag or or does this to you, you just can't sit there and start whailing on them and >> or just claim suspense and >> when you're screaming in somebody's face right no local arrest but Sir, good. But uh you know you're like All right. >> Good. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> I'm sorry. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Battery. >> But I didn't start it. >> You did. >> Don't think you did. Right. >> But you just charge. >> I didn't ask you that. >> I asked you that. So that was just a preliminary investigation. I had to ask some basic questions, but there's other factors. >> You have anything on you illegal? Any in your pockets? >> Legal legal or illegal lighters? Anything like that? >> There's a lighter on you. >> Other than that, >> nothing on me. I can I >> can I call my dad's father before you take off? >> Yeah, we'll we'll do that. Receipts. >> Receipts. >> Anything stuffed up in your stuff up here? >> No. >> Okay. >> But she put her hands on me first. >> So when you're screaming at somebody in their face, they have a right to like push back. >> But she put her hands on me first. >> Explain why that's possible. >> But she put her hands on me first. And because I got in her face, that's battery. >> No, battery is all the stuff that came after that. So when you get in somebody's face and they go, "Hey, back up." Which they're allowed to do. >> But she put her hands on me first. >> I just said, >> right? >> She's allowed to do that. And then when you come back and start punching her, that's a whole different >> put her hands on me first. And then I got in her face >> and I'm the one that's getting arrested >> for all the punching. >> But I didn't punch her in her face. >> Yeah, she's got a fat lip and we have witnesses that say otherwise. So though she started it. >> No, you started it. She was sitting there minding her own business and you came up and you moved her bag like you did >> and she was like, "Hey, what are you doing?" >> And you yelled at her in her face. She pushed you back for distance and you punched her a bunch of times. >> That's not okay. >> Are you serious? >> Yes. All right. >> Can I get myself? >> Yeah, we'll grab it. What all do you have in your bags? >> I have uh my panties, some blood soaked panties because I just had a miscarriage. >> Sorry. Come on. >> Do you Is there So, here's the deal. They will not let you take like big bags and stuff like that at the jail. We would have to put it in our property and evidence. Are you still working here? >> I am. >> Do you want to leave it with management here if they will allow that? So you can come back and get it when you come back cuz you're going to have a bond. It's a misdemeanor. >> Are you serious? So are you just So I should have just said I should have pressed charges against him first. >> Well, it's not that. We still have to do an investigation and ultimately you're determined to be the primary aggressor. >> That's crazy. So pressing charges, you know, for you wouldn't have really mattered ultimately because like I said, if somebody gets in your face and starts screaming at you, you don't have to stand there and take that. You have the right to distance them from your face. If you're standing 10 ft away from her and you're yelling at her and she comes over and pushes you, that's different. Okay? But when you're in somebody's personal space like that after just doing what you did to her property, >> the bag and she was on my stuff. >> Okay. And then after all the fighting, you threw a bag across the lane. >> There was nothing in it. >> Okay. I'm just saying you wouldn't be happy if somebody did that with your stuff, would you? >> I've had a lot worse done to me, actually. >> Okay. Well, >> for God's sakes, I can recorded taking a shower in the bathroom at the gym, but I don't. >> Okay. What do you want to do with your stuff? You want to leave it here? >> Uh, can I call someone to pick it up? >> Do you have a phone? >> I do. >> Where's it at? >> It's in the blue bag. >> They're both >> the the Universal team bag. >> Okay, hold on. >> So, they will not let her take that stuff at the gym. >> All right. >> All right. This is Charlene. How you doing, Charlene? All right, we're just going to switch out cuffs real quick and then we're going to switch you over to the other vehicle. All right, be doing your transport. All right. Street. Your dad's on the phone. All right. I'll just grab it for right now. You can stay on the phone. I'll just put it on top of the car. >> There's the vehicle. You put your chest up against the vehicle for me. Thanks for clips. All right. Nothing on you guys taking me to poke me or anything like that. All right. I'm going use the back of my hand to search you real quick. You're going in the back of the car. You probably search you already, but you're going in the back of my car. So, I just got to search real quick. Great. >> I've never been to the bathroom. I've only been to the big one right there in Michigan. >> Yeah. Now we're just getting older. West side. Uh, you can't have phone in the back of the car. So, you just want to talk to dad real quick and just let him know that you're going to to jail. 103. I just You'll be able to make calls with Joe. >> Yeah. Once you get processed and everything and you're able to bond out, we'll uh we'll make calls out to talk to you. Nobody sungass. I'll pick up the phone when I get there. >> You'll be able to get that phone number off off your phone when you get there. >> The suspect was charged with misdemeanor battery and transported to the Orange County Jail.
