When he met 15 year old Sadie online in reality Sadie was a decoy something which Stacy never seemed to suspect Stacy moved quickly and only had two conversations before he was ready to meet he would later claim that he didn't bother reading the messages and didn't know that she was under 18. When it comes to lying, Stacy shows that he is not quick enough to think up a plausible story on the spur of the moment. The claim that he doesn't read chat messages when he is chatting with someone online is ridiculous. Stacy's attitude is sulky with the same tone as a teenager who's been caught sneaking out of the house. He also uses the standard line about just coming to meet and whatever happens appens which is used in almost every Predator interrogation of this type. And so it was a possibility that could have happened? Could have. If the opportunity would arose she would have been there and no one else had been home, that could have happened then? Given Stacy's history of attempted suicide he will most likely be placed on suicide watch it is odd that he doesn't know specifically what he is being treated for and they may need to contact his doctor so he can be provided with the appropriate care. Jeff Stacy pleaded not guilty and his case went to trial he was found guilty and sentenced to six months in jail as well as being placed on the Ohio State Sex Offender Registry and was ordered to receive sex offender counseling. His name was eventually removed from the registry Stacy later married and there were no further reported incidents involving Minors.
