[Music] well I'd like to insert an apology letter into the court because Shan Paul Ray has already apologized on behalf of all of our freedoms okay well if you have exhibits that you want to admit and I don't know who that is um if you have something that you want to admit as an exhibit on the date of trial you're uh free to do so okay oh he's gone and welcome to facts or [Music] frauds what you are witnessing is real the participants are not actors okay this is the city of Taylor versus Joshua ano uh can I get your appearance Mr Greco yes your honor David greo here on behalf of the city of Taylor all right and Mr CS I see you at the defense table I know there had been some um discussions about the possibility of appointing standby Council since Mr lanto desired to represent himself uh this matter was set for 900 a.m. it's now uh 9:37 we have had a jury panel sitting here for uh almost 40 minutes he Mr lanto was last here on March 22nd via zoom and at that time um he was aware of today's trial date and I stated on the record I will see you all um I'm sorry he was here on 3:13 via zoom and at that point there was no settlement agreement reached and I indicated to him that I'll see you in person on 322 for your jury trial he was sent notice of this date um he's not had any uh contact with the court I see that one of our mailings did come back um as returned to Center that he moved and left no forwarding address uh but even with that being the case uh Mr or lant was present just last week and mrl was given his court date and reminded of that court date on the record just last week um he's not contacted the court he's not um made any calls uh whatsoever to notify anybody involved in this as to why he's not here today um and um given the history of this case the age of this case um the fact that um Mr lanto was well aware of today's date um and has um brought it so far as to have us call in a jury panel and failing to appear an immediate bench warrant is uh appropriate and an immediate bench warrant will issue and failing to appear an immediate bench warrant is appropriate and an immediate bench warrant will issue yes just a matter just a little bit of housekeeping I think the court needs to appoint me in a limited scope for today okay you're appointed in the limited scope today and that you're present today and then I need to put an objection without argument as far as the court dist okay um you are hereby appointed for uh the as standby councel uh and for to this morning's Hearing in Mr lant's absence and your objection is noted thank you just for the record your honor Dave gri on behalf of the city of Taylor we are ready to proceed and the uh officers and Witnesses are one moment all right then we're all set today I'm going to excuse the jury thank youor okay you can't fix stupid and once again thanks for hanging out with us on faor frauds make sure you hit the Thumbs Up Button you're subscribed and ring that Bell for notifications so next time prier a video you can meet the live chat with everyone else and leave a comment in the comment section tell me what you think and a huge shout out to every single one of our fax or frauds channel members thank thank you I appreciate you all and if you're still hanging around thank you I appreciate you all make sure you hit that Thumbs Up Button you're subscribe ring the bell and leave a comment in the comment section tell me what you think till next time I'll see you [Music] soon
