this video is sponsored by established titles this video contains the interrogation of a teenager who fatally shot another during a drug deal gone bad on March 14 2022 Michael Anderson agreed to meet frequent customer and friend fifteen-year-old Justin Antonio Gonzalez to sell him some marijuana this was a transaction that the 17 year old had performed numerous times before and he didn't expect there to be any problems with Gonzalez he was wrong Witnesses testified that there was a heated altercation and later during questioning Anderson told investigators that Gonzalez stole the drugs and ran Anderson gave Chase and Warren Gonzalez to stop when Gonzalez didn't give up Anderson shot him while he didn't intend for the shot to be fatal Gonzalez was unable to be saved by paramedics foreign all right we'll get you some there we go a little better yes sir all right you want some more reason no good enough you're good all right I'm gonna go get you a cup just in case you'll have it with you okay all right conduction all right I'm detective Harmon uh we've never met before this is detective Adams um I think you know why we're here um and here's the thing we're not going to disrespect you or put you down we're just here to get your side of the story uh it's been a long week for everyone and you're no exception um but we're not here to berate you or put you down or or anything like that okay I understand sometimes things happen nonetheless I think that today needs to be a turning point for you to put all this behind you and you want to offer you the opportunity to do that um do you need anything before we get started no okay um before we can talk I have to read your writes you've been Reggie writes before yeah okay foreign anything you say may be used against you in court you're interested in that you have the right to talk to a lawyer before and during question without charge understand that if you cannot order a lawyer and you want one can be provided for you a question without charge you understand that okay that's strong is that my bag yes your song man I have a quarter pound in there oh man foreign and is it real at all what is it it's like catnip the detectives finally enter the room and after reading Anderson is rights they try to put him at ease to increase the chances that he will speak with him but before we learn what happened next let's hear a quick word from today's sponsor established titles is a Project based on a historic Scottish custom where landowners are referred to as lairds or Lords and Ladies in English both my dog and I are already Lords of our kingdom and I just surprised my parents with their own titles as well established titles packs gives you at least one square foot of dedicated land with a unique plot number on a private estate in edelston Scotland and an official certificate with Crest they also commit to planting a tree with every single order so your first deed as a lord is already making a positive impact on the planning you can officially include the title Lord or lady on your credit card plane ticket date profiles and more it makes a great last minute gift the first 200 people purchasing a title pack using my link will effectively be right next to my plot if enough of you decide to become Lords and Ladies we can build our own stranger stories Kingdom together go to establishedtitles.com stranger10 and help support the channel plus you can get 10 off any purchase with the code stranger 10. thanks again to established titles for sponsoring this video [Music] weed or something and then well it's like it looks it just looks like grass and then they just sprayed chemicals on it to make you high true does it like mess you up yeah [ __ ] you up one hit really yeah you know it takes like it only lasts like 10 minutes though but it's tripping like like do you see hallucinations or is it more like my boy almost killed me on he only hit it like three four times and he started swinging and he blacked out started yeah you don't really know what they're spraying on it from like now from batch to batch is it like it's different every time gotcha so what if it smells like the K2 of a real stuff yeah okay so does the K2 smell no you can't smell it it smells like ass when you light it all right so I guess it's good that it's not to get him to let the dog bite the [ __ ] [ __ ] the bucket the dog the dog maybe we should have a time when they're talking about the drug addict there's gonna be some homeless guy out there a great day oh oh man but you're but you're okay you didn't get bit or anything like that oh good yeah because the guy said that you were real smart I was just like I don't know I was just scared that's a tough situation yeah I understand from what Lindsay was saying you you really uh you probably wanted to come and talk to us a lot sooner but you probably had some maybe somebody talking in your ears you may have been scared or something I was uh yeah it sounded like that something like that yeah I didn't know what to do it's a hard decision to make that's why I came back well up to eat back to like Apopka well okay the Parker you're from that area yeah I'm from Oklahoma well where they caught me that's where I was born and raised at in that neighborhood where the Wawa area yeah I I live in Ocoee well I used to with my dad me and my dad moved out there last time I got arrested for foreign [Music] so you just kind of move back and forth I'm a jumper but you're you're a jumper I've never heard a label like that before you're 17 so you're pretty much out on your own now right yeah I've been living I'm lived everywhere really you're by myself and my dad I'm fine I started raising myself I like 14. well because my dad's paralyzed and I I used to have to help him like I was taking him to the bathroom at 12 years old I was cleaning this piss buckets and [ __ ] um that's how I learned just to make money and do it myself and 14 15 years old I was living with my dad but basically on my own so you had to become a man pretty quick then give brothers and sisters got three brothers and one sister I'm the youngest you're the youngest you're the baby well they're uh are they all up in Tennessee um my two brothers live in Tennessee my my older oldest brother and sister they're same dad different mom they live in Massachusetts but my other the rest of my family lived in Tennessee I hear your brother was down here uh yeah I was uh hanging out with him yeah you guys went to the fair yeah did he head on back I'm not sure yet I didn't see him for like I haven't seen him in like two days oh okay you never worked you just a jumper what does that mean you just here and there here and there everywhere at the same time like a grasshopper zipline everybody yeah that's what I hear slowly detective Harmon transitions from casual conversation to questioning Anderson about his life this not only helpful in loosening Anderson's tongue but it can also help Harmon to get a feel for what kind of person Anderson is and what interrogation methods will work best also hear that you're uh disrespect me in any way just as I was raised up the bees don't disrespect you know I have a feeling that's probably what happened the other day I'd like to talk to you about that I know it's probably tough I know you're uh probably had a lot of things going through your mind but from what I understand of the people that have been close with you the last little bit it's been tough on you um it really comes down to when I look at what happened with Antoine um is a situation where I think that you went out there and you did this happen on purpose I don't think so based on everything everybody's told me about you I don't think you have that in you um but certainly I don't want to put words in your mouth and you know say what why why what happened happened um that's why we're here um sorry we don't have to be but I think that you deserve to have a moment and some time to to get this weight off your shoulders and and understand that it's been almost a week now that you've been like playing low and trying to get things straightened up in your head I've been in Ocoee for like three days four days effect I was just trying to get the the kick in my ass to stay at the house wait for you so did you ever think about just coming and like just laying it all out or did you want us to come to you because we certainly tried to find you and talk to you people but I was gonna come talk to y'all to get everything straight but at that time everybody was like oh they got a warrant for you I said why they got a warrant for me I they have they can't really charge me with anything right now well here's the thing we we try to reach out to you yeah but we ran out of options because you turned your phone off and I don't have my phone where's it at I it got stolen I don't have my phone at all when do you stolen um I sometime about a week and a half ago okay about a week and a half ago what happened there I don't know I I lost my phone was that the 615 number yeah 999 317 now okay I've been living and breathing Michael Anderson and all of his friends for the last week I know I know a lot about you they ain't friends well you'd be surprised you got people out there that that uh that care a lot about you and frankly a lot of them were concerned because they hadn't heard from you or seen you in a while and they thought you know you know everybody talking about I went to Tennessee and that I turned myself in I was like oh yeah I was talking [ __ ] bro I can't stand that yeah you're telling me my phone was not would not shut up I had people saying Mikey's in Tennessee uh Mikey's in a Towing everywhere so let's let's talk about Saturday night um I really I really think that you deserve the opportunity to to uh explain that and uh I know you you mentioned a lot about respect and I have a feeling that what happened there was probably something with a little disrespect my understanding you and Antoine were friends or at least pretty tight there's a dog it was and then he tried something stupid as what I'm being told tried something stupid and things happen what have you heard I've heard that he robbed you does that sound right who else is saying the same things oh I can't I can't tell you that you know that we need to hear from you what happened because these are just things that other people have told us either way I'm still [ __ ] but like I've told um anyone else in your situation there's no girl here she is she is am I dead no your girl's here because she covered for you you lied and she did some stupid things along the way Anderson isn't a hardened criminal both his body language and manner of speaking indicate that he is a 17 year old who made tragically four choices In the Heat of the Moment unfortunately someone ended up dead as a result of those choices and the consequences will be more severe than a detention home understand that you have an opportunity to have your words heard and it's important for you and you have an opportunity because anybody anyone else that wasn't theirs they could say what they want but only you can tell us what actually happened care about Lindsay don't you here's your chance to make it right for her get her out of this man sitting over there in that room this has been a tough week don't you tell me this foreign did you mean for it to happen [Music] foreign under the weight of his actions Anderson breaks down this isn't a cocky gang member who is proud of making a hit there's no smug Defiance or callous disregard for Life Anderson unlike many in his place is showing true remorse [Applause] [Applause] foreign ah a um you're not in this alone right I could tell you didn't mean to that it didn't mean for this to happen foreign began with the weed who wanted it foreign foreign [Applause] what's up how's he by himself were you by yourself you guys met down to the end of Anderson place right foreign foreign just take it from you what did he do okay okay this is my understanding that there was some contact between the two of you uh for him to buy some weed Anderson has to struggle to get himself under control he is barely able to answer detective Harmon's questions he explains that the victim robbed him but he doesn't do so in a manner that tries to excuse his own actions if anything Anderson seems a little shocked that the events played out the way they did is that right so far you guys were gonna meet down that um at the end of Anderson place I wasn't thinking that enough I he was at my house like two weeks before that all right so you guys are gonna beat down at the end of uh Anderson's place he walked halfway down the road foreign Anderson place so he was heading down toward Wednesday and then what we're just having a conversation never we turned around instead of walking the other way then he asked me if he could look at it it's gonna be all right oh [ __ ] foreign [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] foreign so if you wanted to hold the weed and you had what an ounce two ounces quarter pound quarter pound and then what happened did did you let him hold it number one foreign we're just talking what about price this is what we're talking about this [ __ ] just we're having a conversation he has to hold it like to just check it out if you let him hold it put a good album he pulled a gun yeah laughs I'm about to throw up I'll get your attractions Harmon doesn't press very hard instead he allows Anderson time to get his emotions out the questions will need to be answered clearly and it will serve no purpose to send Anderson into another breakdown I'm gonna get you a can you guys in case foreign I know that's tough I know it's tough foreign Anderson Street when that happened or we were already out on Lakewood these they used to chase them did you say anything to him I gave him like 10 seconds to turn around he wasn't oh oh [ __ ] life is over it doesn't have to be you can take the right steps right now and do the right thing right now and turn your life around foreign I can see this is tough on you if you could take it back you would wouldn't foreign things just happen and once they're done they're done so did you guys originally meet on Anderson like on the dirt Sand Road yeah house and then is that where he took off running and he followed him down once you shot him then what happened what happened next Anderson gives more details about the shooting the words don't come easily and he doesn't sound rehearsed he doesn't try to evade the questions and there are no convenient memory lapses so far Anderson is most likely telling the truth [Applause] [Music] what was it did he still have it with him [Applause] where'd you go [Applause] right into his room [Applause] and they'll be back down toward uh your house foreign first get your stuff we yeah we went back to uh Lindsay's Grandma's place oh I ran down the dirt road where were you going [Applause] shutting it away I was trying to get away what happened next [Applause] laughs where'd you go let's look off where did you end up on beach street it's like just like I'm laughing on there [Applause] what was going through your mind okay [Applause] into whatever had problems before hands are straight honey ever robbed you or anything before I don't know and you said you saw him earlier in the day I don't know you said before was it early in the day I didn't see him at all that day you guys didn't have any beef or anything that's one when his family called me and said that um that uh I need to come talk to y'all because they have they said that I've met him at bulldog I don't walk and I don't go to pull up [Music] because of what happened down there they said I seen him early before that and I'm like you're stupid and they said that I was by myself I was like I don't walk and I don't [ __ ] live through any parks at all I just and they kept on just harassing me and [Applause] how did you and Antoine communicate before you met [Applause] I met him at nobody's house which one is that I'm sure I've met them at this point we're on Austin yeah talk to him met him the emotion showed by Anderson isn't surprising given the fact that he and the victim had previously been on friendly terms the abrupt change and betrayal would have been startling even without the death and Anderson has to be asking himself exactly what moment things went wrong you met him that night you just mean in general you met him yeah okay I mean that night how did how did you guys know how do you just end up meeting that night how did that come back he texted me off this um kick and what does he want please he said his mom was there and I told him to pull up to the house and then he said his mom's tripping can you come down to him uh I said walk towards me so originally you're going to go to his house I was having him come all the way up to the house your house he said his mom wouldn't drive up there ah like he said he's still gonna come up and he he was walking and that's when we turned back around so you were up at uh Lindsay's Grandma Joyce's house right and um had just pulled in the house just got it you guys are one at the fair or something and so you just pulled up when he messaged you okay so and I know I know it's tough it was really difficult but it's important so when you go down to you're going to meet him you said you were somewhere on the road between like Lakewood and the house where's my dad he's probably down at the house he's all right [Music] dad we'll see if we can get him okay do you need anything else in the meantime back right now once again showing that Anderson is still just a teenager he cries for his father since he is a minor the detective goes to find Anderson's parent s you know his number off stuff your head no I need to call his house number you know it okay let me see if I can find it okay do you know who would have it my girlfriend okay give me a minute all right anybody can get up we're working on getting a number for your dad okay in the meantime um we're just gonna snap some pictures of you so if you'll stand like against the wall there hey put your hat on the table for me while I wait for Anderson's father to arrive the detective takes the opportunity to photograph him all right awesome your family from there or something yeah can you say that we're gonna do like a circle oh you're from here behind you who's from Boston your dad your mom your dad and Dad I know sometimes people just wear those hats sorry I talked too much okay did you do the ink yourself or what do you know it did that okay we're gonna collect your clothes too so um to start with the shirt Collective clothes yeah I ain't got no underwear on oh stuff that we haven't seen before [Applause] you dump it on the table I'm gonna have you put it in the paper bag for me yeah yeah we're just working on getting numbers because uh Lindsay's phone is off right now so we gotta probably and then when you're done do you want to talk to your dad when I when I get the number or you just want one to know what to subscribe want to talk to you okay all right we'll do that uh you but then on after you put yourself yeah just go ahead I'm okay I've seen everything [Applause] foreign [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] no no no let me go ahead and throw in the background yeah you need more water do you want to hear me [Applause] [Applause] awesome where are we going after where are you going after this to the jail ers foreign foreign [Music] uh you probably wouldn't eventually end up there um but at this point you're going to jack until the state attorney's office and the court system determines what's going to happen keep them sitting there for like six months I don't know how long um it really depends on on the process Anderson is unsure of what is going to happen next and the detective gives him a general outline of the next few steps Anderson sounds lost and childlike he doesn't know how to handle the situation maybe tonight or something I don't know but I just don't want to tell you one answer and then something else happened and you're like detective lied to me you know I just I simply don't know just my girlfriend okay she's okay she's a little upset and you know frankly she's um she kind of got wrapped up on all this you know um she covered for you hit the gun and uh they kind of complicated things for her do you is she getting arrested she's yeah she's she's here she's under arrest for accessory I can't see you one more time she just left she just left laughs [Applause] I need my medicine what kind of medicine do you take what kind of medicine thing Adderall are you prescribed it or are you just use it what was this guy do it all these five what's it uh what is it for ADHD about boys I'm playing ADHD and bipolar all right I'll uh you have it with you no okay all right well here's what we'll do once you get down to the jack let them know what you're diagnosed with and all that and what you take in the meantime if you feel like you're having some kind of medical issue let me know okay you feel all right right now a little anxious but I mean you feel like you're not gonna have a heart attack or anything are you if you feel like you're gonna have uh some kind of metabolism I have a hard time breathing but that's it okay all right well I think it's if you start like getting worse let me know okay or we're watching you okay so we got a camera here so just focus on your breathing all right okay [Music] listen to me for a second you're 17. okay this doesn't have to be this doesn't have to be the ends okay you can this is a serious situation I'm not gonna lie to you but you control what happens from here okay we all make mistakes of varying degrees of right or wrong okay whatever happened happened to the past but you have the choice to make it to determine what happens from here okay give me a second when he is told he won't be able to see his girlfriend Anderson breaks down again Harmon stays with him and also assures Anderson they will get his medication and monitor him in case he needs medical assistance while they're out of the room foreign [Applause] yeah wait what is your dad uh say under in her phone do you know I'm not sure because would you recognize the number I believe that there's two one all right we'll try it on my phone foreign let me call this person first and make sure yeah excuse me is David available hey David this is detective Harmon with the sheriff's office I got Michael your son here he wants to talk to you okay all right here we go hey [Music] took Lindsay too laughs Anderson is allowed to speak to his father who tries to comfort Anderson and keep him calm it's all too much for Anderson and he begins to cry again foreign [Music] jdc Wednesday a Wednesday Wednesday Saturday this Sunday [Music] can you make it there every every time [Music] foreign I need to write this number down what is it three two one oh I'll take that I'll take that number down for you I love your dad I know I'm not that jdc yet I'm still in Orange County um I'll be booked tonight so you can you can come see me tomorrow all right just make sure you have your ID thank you um tomorrow or Sunday all right I love you Daddy we got a car coming for you all right can I call my mom what's your number three two one two seven seven nine two zero two what's her name Robert sure two seven seven nine two nine nine two zero two yes three two one two seven seven nine two zero two um hey this is the tech department with the sheriff's office I have your uh your son Michael here he wants to talk to you hello are you okay no I love you Mom I love you too baby okay so I need you here I need you to come here [Music] uh-huh what's up what's up calm down they arrested Rosie too they took Lindsay I feel like I'm having a panic attack Anderson isn't holding up well and it is pretty clear that prolonging the interview wouldn't be productive just call back where's everybody at when did you get back when did you get back here when did you get back from to Tennessee [ __ ] where's Mama she's right here I love you too okay [Applause] I'm just I guess what 'd you say it's over everything I'll operate with them and give them whatever the information they want like okay maybe can you please be there for me anytime I need you easier I love you honey I am going to be there for you for you [Music] anything I need I said anything I need of course right here there's nothing I can do right now right behind you don't think we're gonna let you just just forget that you're our son don't think that please yes we love you have to relax honey and you have cooperate and do what you're supposed to do okay let me talk to your mom real quick man this is detective hormone I just want to talk about that um okay all right you want to say bye to your mom okay all right you're back on with your son hello am I leaving yet yeah just uh do you know be able to say buddy Mom all right well I think I just call you when I get to the Jack okay baby I love you thank you [Music] Anderson also speaks with his mother who assures him that she still loves him and will do everything she can to help relax stay out of trouble keep your mouth without using any coffee [Music] um I love you very very much I love you too okay please relax all right I'll call you in a couple hours okay all right all right I'll be right back okay all right oh God [Applause] laughs what all right it is dry even I've been eating that in like three days you want some more water what were you saying earlier about when you were before you left you were talking to me about something that it's not over with or something no it's um [Applause] well let me say it's not over what I mean is in in some regards it is this all this hiding and stuff all that's over which is a good thing all right so now what you can do is you can start moving forward and put this behind you this is a difficult situation it's not lost on me I I don't believe that what happened out there was the actions of someone that wanted to do something bad I don't believe that at all I don't believe it I don't believe that you're that kind of guy I think that you're a young young guy that um got it a little over his head but the actions that you take from this moment forward can determine your future so I'm not gonna do life Emma I can't tell you what what's uh what's in store as far as that um because that's out of my hands um like I mentioned to you to or to mention to you earlier honesty and getting the only way to move forward with something is to face it head on it's just like when people are afraid of the dark the best way to get over the dark being afraid of the dark is to go in the dark or roller coasters to get on roller coasters this is a similar thing in that in order to get over this problem is to face it in order to face it you have to come to terms with it in your head and admit to yourself this is what happened I was wrong screwed up but you know what I'm not gonna let this ruin my future and that's really that's really the measure of a man and that's really that's really you're at a crossroads right now tough situation but it doesn't have to be over for you okay you face this you deal with this one day at a time and you put it behind you you're a young guy don't let this determine who you're going to be because here's what happens a lot of times people get involved in these types of situations whatever it may be rather than face the problems and say you know what I want to do something better with my life I want I want to put this stuff behind me detective Harmon tries to be encouraging but Anderson probably doesn't find it helpful no matter what Harmon says Anderson knows that his life or at the very least his freedom is over he is 17 and he is looking at spending the best years of his life behind bars right sarna takes a sip of water replaces the cap and then without a pause he removes the gun from his pants and raises it to his left temple there is no hesitation snowballing and they get worse and do worse things you don't have to do that you can I don't know if you're religious at all some people rely on religion and pray to God some people rely on their family and friends everybody believes in something everyone relies on something you have to have something it seems like you have people that care about you greatly rely on those people be there for those people too the next few months are going to be difficult for you but like I said it doesn't have to be over you have to find truth in your mind come to terms of things and put it behind you as if you you dwell on it and you it's the only thing that's getting me is just thinking about this and you're you're gonna have that you're gonna have that but that's one of those things that when you come to terms with it will slowly go away that's one of those things that you're gonna have to deal with it's going to be a struggle you may wake up in the middle of the night and be there all over again every day all you have to do is when you wake up you have to realize it was a dream a terrible mistake but it's over let me move on but you know what and uh what you do have is you have your future you have that okay one day you may want to even reach out to Anton's family that's going to be part of the healing process you may or may not some people find that therapeutic to some years down the road to to address that but those are choices that you're going to have to make but it's not over my friend not by any stretch okay the hard part is over well I got 15 more years to get over it why fiction you got no less well how about this rather than thinking about that think about you're gonna wake up in the morning all right and you're going to have your future and make your future the best you possibly can and work toward your goal what is going to be your goal to move on past this and have a future do all the right things from this day forward so when you go over to jdc do the right things don't get any problems and every day things will get better promise you okay things will get better how long until I'm checking to see if there's someone here now foreign foreign [Applause] foreign [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] back up I'll be right back the detective has offered all of the advice he can and the interview is brought to a close as Anderson is left to wait to be transferred to the jail Michael Anderson is currently in jail awaiting his trial thanks again for tuning in drop a like if you like this video and check out my patreon page if you want to support the channel even more stay safe and I'll see you in the next one
