arraignment at this time Mr Reynolds state your name Irvin Reynolds this is case number 246 87701 P said Miss versus Irving Reynolds Mr Reynolds is being charged with count fonus assault did make an assault upon Alisa Jordan Smith with a dangerous weapon to a pistol without intending to commit the crime of murder or to inflict very violent harm less than murder contrary to MCL 75082 a fouryear fing and or $2,000 fine count two weapons fly firearm did carry or have have in his possession a firearm to with a pistol at the time he committed the attempted committed or attempted to commit ay to it F assault contrary to MCL 750.227 B two years consecutively with and proceeding any term imprisonment imposed for the feling or attempted felony conviction mandatory forfeiture of weapon or device count three domestic violence did make an assault or an assault and battery upon aista Jordan Smith an individual with whom he had a dating relationship contrary to MCL 75081 subar 2 that's a 93-day Mis meter and a war fir the fine a consecutive sence may be imposed on 75056 Sub sub small a if the assault was committed in a place of confinement as well as habitual second offense notice appearances please Lisa coil appearing on behalf of the people and again your my honor Sydney rushing P 78830 um on behalf of Mr Reynolds and again your honor I just like to advise the C my client um is objecting to a to a video arraignment you would like to be aranged for the record not for the record Bond recommendation Mrs call your honor based on uh he's currently on a parole hold he has a parole violation is returned to mdlc for his he has a murder too out of 1992 he got 25 to 40 he was paroled in April of this year this occurred in October of this year as the court notes U it's highly assaultive threats of death um with a weapon uh the complaintant uh statements are cooperated by the officer notice a scratch under her chin also they found the weapon um in the backyard where he was detained once he fled from the officers uh so for these reasons your honor although I know he's on a parole hold he's likely going nowhere based on the allegations based on the assault of Nature and I believe my guess would be the technical the violation is the new case but I'm not sure so I'm going to asked for a 50,000 cash charity and a tether if he is released a tether house arrest but likely um I have a feeling this is what the parole is about M ran your honor we'd be asking your honor to consider um a lower Bond um that is an unaffordable Bond again my client is located at the Michigan Department of Corrections currently um so we're asking you for a um uh consider a lower Bond I believe a GPS tether is a least restrictive means um if Mr re is able to be released prior to the um conclusion of this case okay for a clear convincing reason I find Mr Reynolds a danger to the complaining witness and to the community uh based on a review of the investigators report uh there was an assault with a pistol and then what is um troubling in the last sentence the first paragraph the victim stated he has my gun and he said he's going to kill me and given his prior murder conviction I believe uh he has great ability to carry out that threat and so for those reasons I find he's a danger to the community I'm going to adopt the recommendation of other people $50,000 cash shity while his case is pending no he's not possessing any handguns fires other dangerous weapons no contact with Lisa Smith if he's able to post B excuse me y excuse me y i I don't mean to be rude and interrupt mcconico when you have a bond return that's 9:00 am in front of chief judge Mico prob cause December 27th PR examination January 2nd in front of Judge Sab you have any questions regarding your bond conditions and or court dates I have a I have a question concerning conning what is this proceeding is this an arraignment yes this is an arment you just been ared okay the thing I'm trying to uh explain is she not my attorney she don't represent me she been speaking on my behalf and she's not my attorney all right who's your attorney then I'm representing myself and I'm making a special lied so what's your bond argument what's your bond argument I don't have a bond argument I'm making a special unlimited appearance just the challenge matter jurisdiction of the court and I'm telling you
