said that from the time she was about 4 years old uhhuh until she was 13 uhhuh that you had molested her oh my God multiple occasions no wa in February of 2017 Abraham Gales was confronted at his home by the police who asked him to come to the station for questioning once there he was informed that his two granddaughters were accusing him of molesting them for years the abuse took place between the married oh maybe a year a year how long were you together before you got married uh the first way yeah but a year so you were with you were dating for a year and then you got no no married all all together okay so just a year with dating and then married any kids yeah one daughter what's her name uh and where's now you live okay when was the last time you talked to long time but she never get along with me no why not I don't know there got to be something no because really I don't see him no more the mother took it okay and I so when when she was about 18 I saw her a couple time okay yeah and what about when she was a baby like growing up you didn't see her growing up at all no okay what what are their names uh-huh uh no the first one okay she's the oldest yeah okay uh okay and then uhuh okay and live up the block from you move to okay no and where do live okay but I'm not gal is admits that he doesn't have a good relationship with his daughter but cannot give a reason the detective picks up on that and pursues that line of questioning and is met with evasiveness okay you get along okay with yeah no problems no problem um what about too yeah okay all right so H you where does live I believe okay when was the last time you saw uh I say I say uh two months two months yeah okay why so long I know all them working yeah you're working or he's working no working I saw not too long because we my wife went to see the kid I see him about 3 months so you don't have any issues with no I don't have no issue with that and nothing with no problems no problem never problems no fights no fight no no arguments no well do you have any idea why you're here right now no none no it's weird cuz we've been here for a little while now um went to your house you haven't asked me while you're here well I I H in my house what happened yeah I said I just want to talk to you you want to talk to me so I was scar I I be I'll be H with you I said maybe somebody got killed say I did it what I don't know because my nephew was there say uh why they took you I I don't know did you kill somebody no I don't know do you have no idea at all while no no all right well says that you guys natural to be nervous but curiosity usually overrides that emotion often times someone who is guilty of a crime will say nothing until CLE sure why they are there otherwise they might incriminate spaghetti so I got to take my medicine okay what time you supposed to take that uh whatever whatever you can okay so what happen to well that's what I'm asking I want to know where if you have any problems with no I don't have no problem with that no no I don't have no problem so has made some allegations against you really serious allegations oh well well he said that um he had a meeting with you at your house in June yeah remember that this past summer and he was mad at you uh you remember what that was about I know he went to the hwood but he he I asked him what happened he said I don't go to my house no more okay but I fig you know he's mad on me for what I don't know I wish I know so he didn't say anything else just don't go to my house anymore yeah but I don't put attention to him did he say that to your wife too no just you well she say to me okay so your wife is still allowed to go there you don't want my wife my wife stopped to go you don't to answer the phone okay so so he just told you not to go there to go and nothing else nothing about why just I don't want you in my house I don't know why and then you just shake it off like nothing because you know how can be made then they come back you know that was 6 months ago he says he hasn't talked to you since then no he that's not true did you talk to him on your phone no I know I don't use the phone much yeah okay so why do all that talk she called how you doing so I don't know how to say but she show me the in the telephone hi hi how you doing yeah you still haven't asked me what it's about I just said that making serious allegations about you no you said I don't even know yeah I don't know well he says and the girl say that you've been molested them for years that's not true no no no way can you tell me about your address Gales tries to pass off the 6mon estrangement from his son as no big deal and doesn't even act interested in the reason behind it when the reason for him being questioned is finally given rales laughingly brushes off the accusation most people would be shocked or offended but he doesn't even make a token protest of Innocence this is where you lived the last few years yeah where' you live before that how long you been uh about 4 years 4 years uhhuh okay so and then before that where did you live uh it was in but I forgot the address yeah where's that at is that in KMI Orlando don't believe this that you you touched your vagina with your fingers that you put your mouth on her vagina oh my God that you forc her to make me cry you said that you forced her to um give you oral sex oh no that's not true that you forced her to touch a penis oh my god um and then um in June M she didn't want to go to your house anymore and she started crying when she was going to be left at your house while um the parents went out out of town for work and uh then she told what happened and then said yeah that happened to me too oh my God why would they say that about you I don't know really I don't know I even you I know you say because my they said to you but I don't believe that they said it why I don't know that's why I want to know that's why I'm talking to you my heart to so but you got two girls saying the same thing how you like yeah why why never say nothing about me the other ones said the same thing too never live with me said that when she was very young that that you molested her also see it's not true she never live with me not even not even one week the more took it away from me but why would three people come forward why would they do that even even when I used to go to the house he said like when you come here but when here always preaching I don't like the preaching I don't like you know my wife is Pentecost yeah so she like to you know talking about Bible and everything to that and he never I mean no know everyone once the detective starts giving specific details gal's finally starts to act as expected in the situation although his responses seem stiff and muted as if he is reading a script the allegations are serious and with multiple people making the claims rales is going to have to work hard to dispro oh I we should stay out of my business I wish she come here and talk she make she make right everything she talk about the Bible all that so I told her one time my wife no talk by the Bible no more then see the only one just pray and that's it you know we pray we can do nothing well you know this this this is this I came all this also said that um she thinks that your wife was know was knowing about what was going on that she knew oh my God what you were doing that's my wife oh will you know it's not true it's not true she said that um you started touching her when she was four my God and then um when she was about 11 years old that's what he said she said that's when you started performing oral sex on her oh Jesus no no way that's not true and she said that happened very often that she's now I can't believe it this CH like I can't believe it this and she said recently the most recent incident happened in June June of last year no it's not so true and then you went to her house to drop off um drop off food he was in his room playing loud music and she was on the phone with her friend you remember that no no and you were knocking on the door telling her to open the door that you brought food for her how how you know it's far away but I where they live it's not that far well for me walking you know I don't know for me far away H you know yeah so but she said that she was on the phone with her friend and um the friend she had like a FaceTime and she dropped her phone and the phone stayed on and her friend was able to hear they hear what I don't know we haven't talked to her yet oh I don't know that's not true and she said that you were fighting with her that you tried taking her pants off oh my God and you were hitting her and that um she was screaming for and then came out of the room and then you got up and you left the room and you went down you went out of the room in that area and then um asked her what was wrong and she said that she was just sick and then thought nothing nothing of it but he remembers that though he remembers you being at the house one time they give me uh when I go with my wife kid mhm I love the dog they got two dogs one and I always take care of the dog okay but they never there they always in school working yeah so you go to the house and walk the dog one time no no walk just feeding then because it was out okay couple time so you go there sometimes when they at work to go and feed the dog yeah I couple time how do you get there my wife she right so every time you go there your wife is with you yeah I can't rales says that these accusations can't be true and wants them to corroborate this with his wife however the victims have already said that grall's wife knows about these acts so her word is useless in this situation oh what's name mhm I when she was for maybe two years I don't know two years yeah she was I don't see no more no more she was 18 or 19 I wish I could show you right now the video talking about you and what you what she said you did to her and these are just allegations now yeah yeah but you know when she's talking about what you did to her she's going into such detail and she's breaking down she's crying and you can see like we've been doing this for a little while I've had a lot of interviews oh my God and I can tell you when you when you talk to her and you see the way she's breaking down there's no signs that she's being untruthful like there's nothing like her testimony is so sincere you're talking to her the way she just she kept breaking down it really touches your heart almost like what you saying almost like she completely believes it I don't know that's way the way you see her tell tell what happened to her it's like she's reliving it it's really it's heart-wrenching you know to see her recount what happened he and and here's something I want you to hear me out and think about cuz some people when they're young very young they get an early sexual experience and that stays with them and that becomes their preference you know when you get exposed to something very early in life and it's like a disease and there's help for people that have this mentality that think like this MH so you know when you get exposed to that you can't help yourself sometimes and you know sometimes you know you you misinterpret signals and you can act a certain way and not even realize what you're doing you know and it's a long pattern of hurt that you know people need to heal after time you know now I know you've you're 70 years old I'm sure you've seen a lot in your life growing up and coming to where you are now I I can see you know you you care but I'm telling you when you talk to this girl and you see the interview the way she comes off evil you know to say something two people no you I know you got these two young girls describing very similar situations about you I don't know I can understand that that's how could that happen without it being true Abraham no let me let let me tell you yeah shocked me to hear this you don't look shocked I'll be honest with you well you can say that I did but to me it's no true okay you know would you make yourself available to do a li detector test oh yeah yeah okay because it's this um I tell you right now I the allegations are so strong against I want I want to I don't have no money for lawyer but I want a lawyer to to to to be my you know yeah to because right now you you believe what they say I I say it's not I can tell you I can see their face and when you talk to them I'm telling you that they're they the the way they tell their story and the hurt and the pain is real it's you can't you can't you know unless it's it's not real it's not true it's not true are the girls are the girls Liars what I can say answer me know lying okay but I'm not saying are they Liars in general like you know them to be in the past untruthful like do they tell a lot of lies well they're never lying to me are they bad girls I don't know I don't say B they how can I say that wellan if it's the truth it's the truth no no again you know so me say that to mhm you know I know it's always you know it makes you stories well I don't know the girl going to come out with this to Abraham are you asking for a lawyer right now or do you want to keep talking and you just want a lawyer for the case you know because like I say I don't know how to told you no no he don't never told me well you said shocked why was shocked the way uh just went to the house he say don't go no more to my house and let me tell you I always have when I can and we always together so I don't know why he say that I was was so you went 6 months without finding out why I think he was mad has he ever been mad at you like that before one time he was mad at me what was that for because I know how in that time he got the house he was losing the house mhm and ask for some money did he stop talking to you then but he come back how long was that I long long time long time uh about 4 years ago okay but if he stops talking to you it's because of something serious yeah how long did he take before he went back to talk to you again uh went to house yeah took me about a couple months three or four months okay well we're 8 months it's been eight months eight months he went to my house uh well no I'm sorry yeah eight months he said June so yeah I my wife call in I'm fine and working I he got what I understand he got a job he go a lot of places MH so he said I'm sorry but I'm some play Far Away now you said you have some memory issues is it possible that this happened and you don't remember no no no I got I my my problem my problem with my uh disability you know the the problem uh but I know my children you know I know my children mhm I know then I love them and I like I went to see we went to see him I don't see him almost about two months three month you know he's working he's busy so and and and I she call the house you know he everything okay house everything okay have you had any issues with or with that would make them make this up no I don't I don't know why they make it up and can you tell us why they would lie about such a thing this a big deal it is a big deal you think Gales can give no reason why his family would lie about such a thing the detectives try to understand why he is acting confused about the accusations since rahal's son had already confronted him but Gales blusters and sidesteps that particular question as much as possible why is they building this I don't know what would they have to gain well right I don't know of anything they would have to gain by making this up no have you ever heard them make this stuff up about anybody else no this is like now could you say remember one time my wife was in the house say don't touch my private and my wife not even touching her and I said to M wife be careful be careful her how old was she then 11 you think that's because you were already touching her private she don't want anybody else touching her private I never touch it I never touch no nobody I believe you believe it you know I uh when they small then we never had this problem they never say my white T white t you know but we haven't talked to everybody else yet there might be more right now we're starting with these two yeah yeah yeah but not true it's not true I can't believe this I one time asked me to take the money because she don't want the money yeah she didn't want any she didn't want anything from you after what you did to her I don't do nothing to her I don't do nothing to her then why would why would she not take money she don't she don't want me she want die up yeah mhm he died she never got me see that no no you see but what I see it she never grow up with me never stay with me you know what never she I used to live broken she see she grw up so she never never never never live with me so if you were us and three different women or a girl and two women yeah came to you and said that someone had touched them would you believe them well I don't know I know my I don't believe it I I don't touch it can you give us a reason why we should not believe them there's three of them I don't know what happened to that I don't know who put them something in his mind as he saying this you know so you talk to talk to well generally if kids and she's Technically she's still a kid I'm talking about generally if kids make up a story they can't stick to it they don't know details and if you question them about it too much they aren't consistent in their statements she is extremely consistent she was asked the same question probably five different ways and her answer was the same every time so there is absolutely nothing about her statement that is unbelievable or not credible I don't know who who play with his mind tell her to do this but I want I just tell you you people can never never touch never the detectives let Gales know very clearly that they believe his family is telling the truth unsurprisingly he is upset by this but nothing he says in his own defense gives them any reason to think otherwise I I can die here and I said never did because that's the TRU that's the truth okay anything else more so let me go over what the process is going to be today um because her statements were so credible um you're gonna be charged with everything that said that you did to her today um you're going to be charged from the St Cloud Police Department you're be charged from the asula County Sheriff's Office and then as part of the case with because you Orlando the Orange County Sheriff's Office is going to be investigating what happened with so you got additional charges coming from everything that happened with and um potentially so if she decides to report what happened locally and they think they were you guys were never never even close to that you see so you got a pretty good defense for that but and and it's a pretty strong case against you um they they're making harsh allegations oh my God and these allegations are life felonies so when you get arrested for this you're not going to have a bond and um if you're convicted you can be sentenced to life in prison oh my God so when it go it's sad to say yeah you know so I'm innocent toward all this I don't even put me in I always say an innoc but here I never do this here's something I i' like to point out to people in a situation like that all right these girls yeah they've been traumatized TR tragically traumatized and I want you to keep in mind going forward as a court process goes through they're going to have to get on stand and testify and confront you and say to your face what you did to them that's going to be like trauma to them all over again well like like I say to you they can be here and I say to them why you say that why are you lying because this is a lie you know why you say I did it when I never did it when I even T you even play do you know what the odds are of three people coming together for the allegations and and here's the thing when you have situation like this there's some level of gain when somebody makes something up like this right there's some gain this is nothing but loss and pain and heartache for that family right now I don't know why they're all going I'm telling you they're going through living hell dealing day by day going to therapy trying to support each other trying to understand what happen the blame has put on himself for not seeing it for not seeing the signs that happen the heartache that he's going through right now he's beating himself up I can see in his eyes he hates your guts now I can't believe all of his soul he used to say you know I got you so high I got this you my true and now that's true now look what you're saying that's all true that's why he trusted you with his children he trusted you with What mattered most to him and you Abus that trust no I don't VI that first I don't VI that which was you you know and these poor kids are are now traumatized that relationship is over and he's got to mend that in his mind and make some sort of sense of what happened you you think in My AG I going to do something like that yes when no I don't believe this you know I don't believe this I I love 10 two pieces you know maybe too much you know I love I I love two pieces you can ask you can you can listen to the to okay let's say let's say I did that so asking and the other one you know okay you going to see the difference just just because you preferred one child over another doesn't no no I mean [Music] I even though it is repeatedly stressed how damaging this has been for his family rales shows no real emotion or consideration for them self-preservation has become his main focus which stems from the knowledge that the odds are stacked against him even if the detectives don't believe him he doesn't stand much of a chance against a judge or jury what I'm trying to say they're never accusing me you know well here's my opinion that you knew about this in June that your wife knew about this in June your wife could not have been more nervous when we were at your house she knew exactly why we were there that's why she was so scared and she didn't ask why we were there she never asked and neither did you yeah I was going told
