The stranger asked them to roll down their window and then shot Savannah. Brennan immediately rushed her to the hospital where she is now battling for every breath. >> We're taking care of her, okay? >> They're they're wanting to know, our supervisor definitely confirmed gunshot wound there. >> There's a There is a big wound right here. I can't confirm a bullet, but there's a big wound right here. >> Hey, listen. What's your first name, buddy? >> Brennan. B R E N A N. >> Listen, I'm Dan, okay? It's a crime scene. >> He put his [ __ ] hand in the car. >> Okay, so where was the car parked at? Show me on the map. >> I just lost it. >> Was it in the front of the building or the back of the building? >> No, it wasn't at the at the Microtel. We were close to it. I'm just trying to I'm not from here. >> You're fine. You're fine. Show me where you think it was at so I can get I can get it I can find a crime scene and start looking. >> I don't even know where we're at on this. So the Microtel is here. >> The road [snorts] to the Microtel >> is right here. Yeah, so listen here. The road to the Microtel is on Kingswood Drive. Were you on Kingswood Drive or in the parking lot of the Microtel? >> There's [snorts] like a [ __ ] park down the street. >> Graham Swamp, maybe? >> I don't know. It's down It's down the street. >> know. It was It was like a There was wood in There was a wooden fence and it was a dirt pool of of >> I'm not going to work that. Yep. Listen to me. >> [screaming] >> You're not in any trouble. Were you guys there to do anything else? What were you guys there to do? >> No, I promise we were trying TO FIND ANOTHER HOTEL cuz it's spring break. And we were literally staying in hotels. You can look. >> Okay, and you were parked in the dirt parking lot. All right. What did this guy look like? >> He was black. He was wearing a like a [ __ ] black like hoodie shirt and he had dark jeans on and like dressed It was DIRTY LOOKING LIKE REALLY GRUBBY. >> What did he After he shot her, where did he go? >> He took off running and I I [ __ ] just looked at her and tried TO HELP HER. >> [screaming] >> ALL RIGHT. TAKE [crying] A DEEP BREATH. >> NO. OH MY GOD. >> From the information gathered, detectives know one thing for certain. A dangerous man shot at an innocent couple in broad daylight for no reason. And they need to find him before he disappears. Real quick, if this is the kind of content you like, feel free to subscribe. We cover a lot of cases just like this one. Now, back to the story. >> Alpha 216, black male. I thought it cannot go in the car. >> The cigarettes are literally >> No, hang on a second. What is advised this possibly took place in the parking lot of the Gram Swamp. He advised it was south of the hotel dirt parking lot with a wooden fence. It's probably Gram Swamp. >> As another team of detectives searched for a man matching the description Brennan had given, they expected it might not take long to find him. After all, he was supposedly on foot. But, no one expected the search to end almost immediately. Just beneath a nearby tree, officers spotted a man who fit Brennan's description perfectly, calmly enjoying a cigarette. >> Copy, we're both on foot. Hello, this is the Sheriff's office. >> You work here? Oh, no, no, sir. I was just sitting here smoking a cigarette with my girl. She's still sleeping. >> How long have you been out here for? >> I just I literally just came out here. I have my keys. >> You're good. You're good. You're good. Have you seen a black male, black shirt, blue jeans in the area? Running, anything suspicious? >> What what room are you staying in? >> Um, 314, sir. >> Okay. Look, listen, for your safety and mine, I'm just going to pat you down. >> Oh, yes, that's fine, sir. >> Cuz I'm I'm going to be straight up with you. You do match the description so far. Okay. Can you just have a seat? >> Do you own any firearms or anything like that? Go ahead and just tell them to add that to the over teletype. Did you hear any commotion, arguing, anything like that, fighting when you came out? Okay. Got you. We're going to be out with the Bravo Mike matching description so far. Possibly not one in the same. Do you mind if I just check your the inside your bags real quick? Just quick open, look, make sure there's no firearms in there. Okay, we got somebody that just got hurt, okay? That's why we're out with you. You match the description. We I just want to make sure you don't have any firearms in your bag. >> The strikingly similar suspect claims he is simply minding his own business, pausing only to enjoy a cigarette. However, Brennan states that the cigarette was the very reason behind the brutality. >> was rolled up or rolled down? >> Yeah, they were up. They were up. He came up to the window and I rolled it down. I I look out for the homeless all the time, all the time. He came up to my window, my window, the driver's side window. >> Okay. And then what happened from there? >> He asked me for a cigarette first and then I went to look for it and then he pulled a [ __ ] pistol and he said, "Into your [ __ ] pockets." And I'm a fighter. I'm not I'm not that guy, and I was like, "No." >> you ever exit the car? >> No. No. >> Okay. >> He pointed at me, and I leaned back, and I grabbed his arm, and he just pow! >> I think he was planning what I was just >> We just [ __ ] proposed, dude. >> All right. All right. >> Please tell me you're [ __ ] saving her. Please tell me. >> I have her insured right now, okay? >> He's still breathing. >> I have her insured. >> She's not dying. >> I have her insured. She's still alive. >> [groaning] >> Oh my god, no. Please, I need my baby to be alive. >> Brennan was just months away from his wedding. Now, he sits outside the hospital, his girlfriend fighting for her life with a bullet in her head. But Brennan's past isn't as spotless as it first appears, leaving detectives struggling to make sense of a story that only grows stranger. >> Hey. He has I thought he has a warrant out of Pennsylvania. I have not sent a head confirmation yet. Do you guys want me to Do you want me to wait? >> Um >> It's full extradition for aggravated assault. >> I mean, you can. >> Okay. All right. So, I'm on to I get here. He's outside coming up from the ER crying. The car's here secured. >> Perfect. >> He's upset. Basically, what I got out of him is they were at the Microtel in room 310. Their time was up. They couldn't check out no more. So, he said he drove He showed me on the map. He described Sounds like Gram Swamp. So, he drove south of the hotel a little bit, found a dirt parking lot with a wooden fence. >> Okay. >> That's pretty much sounds like Gram Swamp to me. So, they were sitting there trying to find another hotel. Uh the black male dressed in black with the black dreads knocks on his window, says he looks really dirty, it's possibly homeless. So, he says he always likes to help the homeless. Rolls his window down. The guy asks for a cigarette. As he reached for a cigarette, the guy points a gun in the car, says, "Give me all your money. Give me all your money." And then he just shoots his girlfriend in the head. He drives right here. Um you can see in the car there's blood everywhere, there's all that stuff. Um and And that's as far as I got with him. Secured the car. That's about it. >> Okay. >> All right. >> I'm just reading CAD notes through what's happening. Is there something going on at the at the Red Roof? >> We He originally called it in and he gave us and had it at the Microtel. So, you just went to the Microtel and I talked to him. He says, "No, I don't know the area." So, he used Microtel as it. So, he pulled up his map. He showed me they came out and he just said he destroyed the parking lot. He said it was set It was a park with a dirt parking lot and a wooden fence. That sounds like either Graham Swamp or that area just north of Graham Swamp. Um >> I'm just reading the notes. Is there blood on towels now? >> I I know you're not there. Honestly, with him screaming, I couldn't So, no one's gotten in the car. No one's touched the car. We've sealed it off for you guys. Um They I had them bring him into that room to get him out of here to public's view. Um let me finish writing down his name. I'll write down the victim's name and give it to you. I'm going to I'm going to go off now since he's in there. >> Even as Brendon's past comes under closer scrutiny, the other man who perfectly matched the original description remains far from cleared. Investigators are still keeping a close eye on him. >> That's all. Okay, do you mind if I just unzip your bags and take a look? Nope. No. I'm just here to see if you have a firearm. That's all. You can come stand and look while I'm looking. Okay. I don't care if you, you know, whatever you got in there. I just want to make sure you don't have any firearms, okay? >> Are you just visiting from Jacksonville? >> Yeah, literally came down to see my girlfriend. She lives in Jacksonville. I came down to off at her house. >> Alpha 212. >> I don't think I'm going to like this, Barbara. I just thought of me a birthday present for me. >> No, you're good. All right. >> Thank you. >> Um finish up that cigarette, head inside, okay? For a little bit. All right? >> Detectives, meanwhile, are delving deeper into the matching suspect, hoping he might give them the break they need. Instead, all they got were a few break time snacks, with little else to go on. They decide to question him further, but he insists he was there merely to drop his girlfriend. Back at the hospital, however, Brennan's girlfriend is in far worse condition. And now, Brennan is being placed under arrest, but giving a wild story isn't a crime, at least not yet. >> Face the wall for transport in your back. Put your hands together like you're praying. Come on back with me. >> Just so we're clear, right now you're being arrested for the warrant up in Pennsylvania, okay? >> Yes, sir. >> You got two fingers that get in there, man. They're not too tight. >> What? It's too tight. Can you open them, buddy? They're way too tight. It's the reason you're [ __ ] cutting into my wrist. >> All right, hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Where are they Where are they at? This side? >> Yeah, both sides. >> Well, how about this? Let's I'm going to remove your watch right now because that's probably >> into me. >> I know. Probably hurting you a little bit. Put your watch up here. I'm going to take off this watch. Free up some stuff on your wrist. >> I count it in front of you. You're only >> Just hang tight. I'll get some air back there for you, okay? >> Two watches, yet Brennan's time is not in his favor because within moments after his arrest, the matching suspect is cleared out. He was released free with nothing tying him to the crime except for his clothes and Brendan's story. So, they decided to listen to more of it beginning with some cigarettes. >> Hey Brendan. >> Yes. >> Yes. I'm Detective LaVergne. This is my partner, Detective Sioui. >> Hi. >> Uh real quick, just kind of a standard practice we do uh when detectives come Is it okay if he can do a quick pat down? You don't have any weapons on you, right? >> Okay, put those Just put those down. >> Brendan has been arrested for an old warrant, but in this case, he's still a witness and possibly a victim. So, this interrogation is absolutely crucial to decide what role he plays in this case. Now on my Patreon, watch the interrogation of a father accused of killing his baby. The detective snaps and starts hitting him on camera. See the full video at patreon.com/stranger stories plus. >> Again, man, this is That's something crazy to be going through, but the the best thing that we're here we're here to help you the best we can. We're here to help her the best we can, okay? So, what what's her name again? >> Savannah. >> Savannah? >> Yeah. >> Okay. The best thing that we can do the best thing that you can do to try to help us is to just Yeah. >> The best statement you can give us the best statement the most accurate that you can recall. I know it's stressful and I'm sure it things are moving really fast and it may be hard to remember everything, but if you can try to the best control the emotions and try even if it's only for 5 minutes, 10 minutes, whatever you can do to try to give us the best details to help us to Can you really try to do that for me? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> We literally just sitting there [ __ ] in the car and >> Whatever. You you guys live here? >> Yeah. Yeah. >> You guys live here? Okay, where do y'all live? >> We're homeless. We've been in a hotel. It's so [ __ ] boring. I'm ruined and we were literally just sitting there and looking for a [ __ ] room cuz it's spring break and we can't find nothing. >> Oh, yeah. >> [snorts] >> And then [ __ ] I'm I'm nice to all the homeless people. Like I give them money all the [ __ ] time. >> Okay, so you pulled in to the to the little dirt [snorts] parking lot there? >> We were sitting there for like probably 3 minutes or so and then [ __ ] comes out of nowhere. I didn't even know where he came from and he's just like knocks on my window and I he asks me for a cigarette and I'm >> Okay, hold on. Hold on. Who was Who was he? Who was he? >> White dude white dude and like a tall white dude and like [ __ ] dirty looking dreads. He was like wearing like a I I know if it was a hoodie or a long shirt, but it was black. >> The story is chaotic and somewhat changing. Black guy, white guy. He seems to be saying anything at this point. >> Black or long sleeve shirt or something like that he was wearing. Did you see if he was wearing jeans or shorts or >> Yeah, like he was in He was like, "Do you have any cigarettes?" He asked me for a cigarette and >> So that's on your passenger >> My window. >> Your window, and you're >> My window window down and >> Your your driver? >> Yeah, and I said, "What's up?" And he was like, "You got a cigarette?" And I said, "Yeah." And I leaned over I leaned over to grab cigarettes when I looked back he had full [ __ ] gun on me. And I was like he said, "Hey, just give me what you got." And I went like this and I grabbed it and he said, "Pow!" Right when I grabbed his arm he said, "Pow!" And I let go and he took off running and I looked over and >> You've never seen this guy before? >> No, I was there. >> Never >> Take a deep breath for me, okay? I know it's hard. Deep breaths. What did he sound like when he was talking to you? Like what was his voice like? >> He was like, "You got a cigarette, man?" I don't know who the [ __ ] He didn't say he said What? I'm trying to remember what he said. He said >> When he did that, so he you see you get a good look at the gun? Do you have any idea Can you describe it at all? >> It was black and it was compact like this. >> Okay, so it was a smaller smaller handgun that looked like a um like a semi-automatic style handgun, not a revolver. >> Mhm. No, it wasn't a revolver. >> Okay. And he reached in through the open window? You remember which hand he had when he came? Was it right hand or left hand? >> He used his left hand. I believe it was his left hand. >> Okay. So he comes in into the car with it and you say and you look back and you get the cigarettes and you're like holy [ __ ] >> I went over to get the cigarette. >> Yeah. >> And I look he had it he was just putting it up to me and he got it >> So he had it in your face. >> Yeah, he was pointing it at me trying to put it on my face. >> Okay, so how did you get >> Right I Right when I looked out he was like trying [clears throat] to put it on me and I just went back and I pulled it. >> Okay, and you pulled the So he had his hands and the gun was past you. >> Soon as I Soon as I grabbed his arm he said pow and I let him I let it go. >> Oh, okay. >> So apparently Brennan never realized Savannah was shot until he looked at her which is strange considering the fact that the mysterious man's hand was wrapped in Brennan's hands. He only heard the man say pow and didn't hear the gun go off and he never felt any recoil. >> My queen this is my queen. >> Are you guys together? >> We've been together for eight months now. But he's he's the best thing I've ever had. He's the only real genuine anything that I've ever had in my whole entire life. He just like makes me want to live. >> Hold on to that, okay? Just I know this is hard but we're trying to help her and we're trying to help you, okay? >> Yes. Really? >> So there's There's You can't think of any reason why somebody would want to want to try to do this to you guys. >> Have you had beef with anyone at all that you can think of recently or >> Was it teenage kids? No, it was just an argument but no no not at all. >> When was that argument? >> This was months ago months ago. >> What about her? [snorts] Any arguments with anyone anything like that? >> Oh man, she's a [ __ ] angel. She literally will do anything to help anybody. >> According to Brennan, Savannah had no beef with anyone and she was an angel. But there was a devil somewhere out to get her because by now we can confirm this to you. This was no random accident. It was a planned attack. Savannah, according to Brennan, made him want to live. But that cannot be said for Brennan. In the next few hours, these police officers received a mysterious call from someone who claimed to be her real well-wisher. It's going to give this case the big break it needs. >> I didn't do it like that. No, I wouldn't do that. I don't do this. I don't want to do this no more. No. >> [clears throat] [screaming] >> The rabbit season is like that. You know? Oh. I don't know what it's like. I don't >> [snorts] [screaming] >> It's the worst when you love leave her there. There's nothing you can do. What are you trying to say? No, I would have I should have ran THAT GUY OVER. >> BRENNAN, look at me. You did the right thing. You got her here. >> I should have ran them over. >> That would have taken away time that you were helping her getting her here. Do you understand? You got her here. >> No. I don't want to lose my baby. Oh. No, baby. This don't feel real. Like I don't even feel her. Like no. [crying] >> [sighs] >> Deep slow deep breaths, okay? I know. I know it's hard for >> No. >> Yeah, and I got on I jumped on the [ __ ] highway and I bee-lined it straight here. Right here. >> Yeah, that's a pretty fast way to go, man. Sounds good. >> Yeah. >> You want to stretch and make it You're making the right call, man. That's That's That's probably the way to go, too. >> I almost wrecked twice. I'm going to say to this lady, um I didn't even hear her. It didn't matter. I was like, "Fuck this [ __ ] car. [ __ ] your [ __ ] car. I got to go, you know? I got to go." And she's looking at me like I'm crazy, you know? I'm like, "My baby's dying." >> Okay, don't worry about her. She's all right. That baby You're not going to think about it tomorrow. >> My baby. No. >> How do I get him to say that? >> We're going to give you a little bit, okay? Just for a little bit. >> you a little bit here cuz obviously he's been asking a lot of tough questions, man. So, all right? Just do the best you can try to relax and I think your mom's out here. >> Yeah, I can tell how long. >> I can have her come sit here with you, bro. >> And then you tell him to get some fresh air. >> There's a bunch Here's Here's the thing. There's a bunch of people outside >> I won't. >> No, no, no. You Listen, your emotions are not my problem. It's more protecting you from prying eyes and nosy people and the press that might show up and take your picture. That's They don't need that and you don't need that. >> Yeah. >> Okay? >> You You You know, have you heard of private life? No? Okay. Well, here's a guy who loves to get in everybody's business. Well, he really doesn't. >> People see lights and >> So, the best thing looking out for you and obviously the state you're in and everything that you're going through, the best suggestion I can make for you would be to stay here in private. I can have your mom go and hang out with you, you know what I'm saying? Just kind of Just give me a second for that and just just do your best to process what you need to process, okay? And you know, you can call me Dan to make it easier for you. You can know me that way, too, or whatever the heck you want to whatever you want to do. Um if you need anything, okay? We're just going to talk real quick. I got to make a phone call. And just uh you know, just uh we're here for you, okay? So, if you need something, just let me know. All right? Just give me a couple minutes, okay? >> Brandon is saying all the right things a grieving partner would, but there's something about it that feels over the top, almost rehearsed. The sadness, the soft-spoken mommy's boy demeanor, it all feels less like grief and more like an act. >> It's not real, Mom. This is not real. >> Are you with the detectives, Mom? Do you hear me? Are you with the detectives? I just want to I can't come home, man. I don't want to be in this room no more by myself. Like this is [ __ ] torture. Mommy, I can't. I can't. I need you. Like I'm getting sick to my stomach and [ __ ] I believe you got to see my room. I keep hearing her, Mom. I keep hearing her in my head. No. No, it don't feel real at all, like even I keep seeing her in my [ __ ] head. >> Brandon, right here. You mind if Can this off? >> Yes, you can. >> All right, man. Just so you know, I'm Corporal Flinders with the Sheriff's Office, okay? >> Yes, sir. >> We're just kind of bringing me up to speed on on what's going on. All right. Uh Right when I find out what's going on with her, I'll let you know, okay? >> Within hours, Brandon's apparent wish came true. He is about to be finally told the exact words he seemed eager to hear for the entire day. >> She's not dead, right? She's alive, right? >> Yes. >> Then my baby's fighting. She's fighting. >> Okay. >> Keep her eyes open, okay? >> Do you know for sure that she's alive, right? >> Yes. >> Is she alive? Is she going to live? She's not going to die. She's not going to die. Please. >> Where did you Did you pick her up from home? >> No, she lives with me. She lives with me. >> Okay. Do you know any of her friends that know >> I don't have no way of getting in contact with none of them. >> Give us her number. >> I don't I don't I don't I have none of her numbers. I I only know her mom's name, Elizabeth Gonzalez. >> All right. Do you know what section she lives in? >> Um >> The R's or the C's? >> See, I think I think the C section, I think. >> We're going to We're going to see if we can find her. >> Did you say that they're taking her to Alex cuz she's not dead? She's not dead. She's not dead, please. >> [laughter and snorts] >> Oh, please, thank you, Lord. Please, Lord. I'm telling you, please. Please, I told her to pose. I'm glad she didn't pose. She didn't pose. SHE DIDN'T DIE. >> I KNOW WHAT THAT IS. I'm so sorry. They're taking good care of her. >> C-section? >> Okay. >> But the news of Savannah's continued survival does nothing to calm Brendan's breakdown. If anything, it worsens it. He keeps shaking, shivering, breaking while officers plead with him to give a more believable story. Unknown to Brendan, an exposure is already underway and soon no amount of tears or screaming will be enough to cover the horrifying secret he is still sitting on. >> Um, he he's the one that has been with me all day. >> Hi, my name is Annaja Tobler and I'm Savannah Gonzalez's best friend. >> Yes, ma'am. >> Um, I do have evidence of him basically saying he was going to kill himself. I did believe that he was mentally ill. She has told me multiple times that he has verbally abused her, physically abused her, and that I do have footage of him verbally abusing her. >> Okay. Um When When you say him, who who is him? >> Brendan, I'm not sure his last name. >> Okay. >> Brendan Hill. >> Okay. Um, and you said you have video of it? >> Yes, footage. She sent me in case anything happened. >> Okay, did you Did she talk to you today at all? >> Um, no, this was I was in school at the time, so it had to be like 2 to 3 weeks ago. I can just look back at that time in the messages. >> Okay. Um, if you could if you could forward those to me, >> Yes, I can. >> I'll pass those on to the uh the lead detective on this. Um, have you witnessed them together? >> Together I have witnessed them together. She posted a video to to them two together on her Snapchat. >> I mean, just just like have you like been with them together? >> I haven't been with them together. >> Okay. When was the when was the last time you you spoke to Savannah? >> Um, last time I spoke to her was like three two three weeks ago. >> Okay. >> So, it had to be like two three weeks. >> Okay. >> She wasn't staying with me. She was staying with I'm assuming Zoey. You might want to talk to her after she she finished talking with >> Is Zoey there? >> Zoey is here at the moment, but she's downstairs. >> Okay. >> They're only going to let two of us up at a time. I'm on her I'm on her mother's phone. >> Okay. Okay, is there any Are you're going to send me that that uh >> Yeah, what number would you like me to send it to? >> Just do it to my my email. >> Oh yeah, he um unfortunately the the gun that was probably used was more than likely purchased by her. >> It was purchased by her? >> More than likely. >> Do you know where she might have purchased it at? >> I'm not sure where she purchased it. But um, I know that legally he's not allowed to own a gun because he has prior convictions of domestic abuse. >> Okay. All right, so you believe him to or her to purchase the weapon. Do you know about how long ago maybe or >> I'm not sure how long ago, but I I know that the first altercation between the two or the first fight was because she wouldn't purchase the gun. He's an avid drug user. I have video evidence of that. Um Uh he has anger issues. Also video evidence. >> As officers lean into the videos and messages that Savannah had forwarded to her friends moments before she was shot, what begins can only be called the unmaking of Brandon. >> Can't do that. It's my lane. You got my wife right here. I'll wreck you. And I swear to god, bro. I swear, bro. You don't use your mother head at all. At all. At all, mother Hope you got somewhere to go cuz I ain't paying for a hotel. I'm paying for some Narcan and I'm going to CVS and getting a bag and leaving right the Hope you mother are happy. >> Nobody's happy. Not even you. And you don't even want to make an effort to be. >> Unaware, Brandon is still making this out to be a rare love story just like this morning as he falsely believes Savannah has no say in it. Little does he realize she is about to solve her own murder mystery while he continues his own rambling. >> Brandon, we're trying to figure out what happened, okay? That's what That's what we're here for. Obviously, we're here to try to try to get as many answers, okay? >> Yes, sir. >> Obviously, we're we're here at the hospital. She's not here. Okay, to have a more organized setting. Are you cool with coming back to the our office so we can figure out what's going on? Yeah? Okay. I'll have one of our guys drive you there. It's literally right down the road, okay? >> I'm available at my mom's. >> She's outside? >> I know. she can follow us. Have her follow us, okay? Uh so she can follow us down there. Uh and then so we'll we'll do that, okay? And then cuz we'll be able to get more updates and stuff like that about her and you know what I mean? So we can keep you in the loop as much as we can, okay? So you cool with that? >> Yeah, I need a cigarette anyway. Can you get some or something? >> Yeah, I'll look at your cigarette. Just uh let me see how we can get you there, okay? It's literally right down the road. Your mom's outside. He's talking to one of the detectives. I'm not going out and seeing her and stuff. All right, Brennan. >> Uh real quick, sorry. I was talking to these detectives. They said you were able to grab the guy's hand, Brennan? >> Not fully like >> Okay. But the gun went off when you were grabbing him? Okay, just so you just so we can do it real quick. There's probably going to be gunpowder residue on you. Okay, we're just going to swab your hands. Are you cool with that? Okay. Our CSI here is non-invasive at all, so literally just tapping your just touching your hand and then that's it. Then we're going to head down to the courthouse, okay? Your mom's going to follow and we'll we'll deal with all of this there. We're we're not I mean there's a lot of hustle bustle going on here also, okay? All right. >> And it's for a reason just like you said. >> Just wait right there. I'll bring you this here. >> Officers are suspicious of Brennan to say the least and they are swabbing his hands for the gun residue. However, they are merely moments away from hitting a point where suspicions are about to turn into an ugly reality they will never be able to unsee. >> You think it's a [ __ ] game? You think it's a game? I'm promising you I will be IV intravenously injecting it into my arm today. As soon as this answers the >> Why? >> Bro, why? Why? >> Yes. Cuz I've only been in your life for 3 months. And you were going downhill before. So. Yeah. Yeah, you were. >> No, I wasn't. No, I wasn't. I was doing uphill before I met you. I was actually looking up before I met you. Then when I met you >> You had this flaunted Chanel, you had to spite her and put it all over social media. >> Cuz you cried in my ear and I'm a secret. I'm not a secret, Brennan. I'm not a secret. I got to live like a secret. You got to be a secret to your people. >> No, I said that I don't deserve to be a secret and that if you can't accept me and treat me like your woman, then yes, I was going to leave. >> I hate you. I hate you. >> No, you don't. No, you don't. >> I hate you so much I love you. You did not come out that store when I asked you to come out that store with I hate you. You told you without saying a word showed me my life means nothing. You stupid >> Warning, this seemingly routine argument is about to distort into something deeply disturbing in the next moment. >> It does. >> IT DOES NOT. IT DOES NOT. THAT LITTLE KID WOULD HAVE HAD A GUN THAT DAY. I WOULD HAVE GOT SHOT, YOU STUPID >> THE [ __ ] YOU TALKING ABOUT? When you going to wake the [ __ ] up? Cuz if you threw it away, I'm going to punch you in the face right now. You better hope you getting You better hope you can tell me where it is. Where is it at, Savvy? >> I hate you. I'll get it. I will get it for you. for you. >> Loser. >> I will get it for you. >> No wonder you have nobody. You're a loser. >> I am. >> You don't even use your [ __ ] head. Tell me they're going to call the cops. They're going to call the cops. Slower and slower. Get over forgetting over. You're dumb. >> I'm sorry. >> You're dumb as Not only am I GOING TO GET SHOT BECAUSE you We're going to get charged up. I'm dumb. I got people running in and out the room. They're going to have selling coke. You want to talk this gun on me killing you? If I was going to kill you, I would kill you. You don't need a gun. Like, yo, you're dumb. I'm dumb dumb dumb dumb. >> You don't think at all, brother. You are nothing but an impulsive indecisive person. Talk about everybody else. You don't know the one. I want to be happy. I hate my life. I want to work for better. I've done nothing but put you in position to win. You [ __ ] the ball, not me. You You know standard hotel policy and procedure when they find drugs in the hotel? You know what they do? They give your 90 idiot. >> Then you should be fine. >> No, I shouldn't be fine cuz you're in my car with me. They see me running back and forth busting traps out the hotel on camera, not you. >> We. Go shoot up. Cuz I'm not coming with you and I'm not watching you. I already tried to stop you all day. And you want to put your hands on me and tell me how much of a piece of [ __ ] I am. Look in the mirror. Look in the mirror. >> After having to witness the violence Savannah was going through, this case takes a 180° turn and so does the officer's car. Heading straight to the hotel Brennan and Savannah were at that morning. >> Hey. >> Hi, I need you to actually go to your room. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> Sorry. >> Do you understand like if I ask you questions? Was there any blood or anything found in here? >> Blood? >> Blood. >> In the towels. >> Yes. >> Okay. >> This was the Microtel Savannah and Brennan were lodged. However, if Brennan's story had even one ounce of truth in it, officers should not find what they are about to. But by now, everyone should know Brennan only ever opens his mouth to lie. >> I'm going to need all her information as well. >> Okay. >> Do you mind keeping this open for me? >> Absolutely. >> Did you see them leave? >> Mhm. >> Did you hear any noises? Any top tops? >> 211 copy. 211 flag way. All right, come out. Just signal 14 made started cleaning the room so far. >> Okay. >> She advised that there is a pile of towels that have blood on them so far. You the manager? >> Yes. >> Manager advised the female was the yellow one that was supposed to be in the room. >> Have we cleared it there's no other victims? >> Uh she was in here when I walked in. There's nobody in here. >> your front desk for video if you don't mind? >> Okay. >> Thank you. >> You go ahead, go down with her so she can get all your information, okay? >> The Two people this day people >> Mhm. >> They stay in 228. The cleaning lady said she found this in 228. >> Yes. >> She said this is This is the guy that he was in here. They were in 228 previously. And she said that that's where she found it. Supposedly it was the guy that was here. >> And where did she find this? >> 220 She doesn't speak really English, but she said 228 is what I got. >> Not in here? >> No, that's where they were staying last week, 228. And now they're in here. I don't know if it's Um the only people that answered were 305. Everybody else was nothing heard. >> Let me take this one. Hey, um the maid that we've been talking to found a photo. >> No one heard anything. No one heard anything except 305. 5. But it was a loud sound at like 4:05 and and she doesn't know where it came from. She doesn't know where it came from. No. >> Take it easy, guys. >> She said it was a loud noise and she said that she doesn't know where it came from. She says the walls are thin, so it could have came from anywhere. >> She said 228 is what >> After Savannah successfully checkmated Brennan's evil plans and even uglier cover-up, what remained was sealed by the discovery in this very hotel room. It will become the final nail in his coffin, or perhaps more fittingly, the last lock on his prison cell. There's evidence and witness of the day he carried out his entire plan. It all began with his usual domestic violence that occurred in the hotel room, resulting in bloody towels that the investigators later found. Soon after that, he drove Savannah around when he finally took a shot at her head. And merely 5 minutes later, he was at the hospital repeating the burglary story to anyone who cared to listen. To seal the deal, police tracked Hill's movements using surveillance footage and found him stopping near a wooded area before going to the hospital. They discovered the ultimate evidence of his terrifying acts. >> Yep. There she is, boys. Call off the hounds. >> Good deal. >> Nice. >> I got my camera on, too. >> So, he wrapped it in a towel. >> Nice. >> Yeah, Brian, good job. >> Six, six, six, six, six. >> In the bushes, they recovered a firearm wrapped in a towel with Brennan's fingerprints on it. Months later, Savannah survived the initial shooting, but was left in a semi-vegetative state. She was able to communicate through nodding, confirming to detectives that she believed Hill was the one who shot her. Tragically, Savannah passed away on November 9th, 2022, due to complications from her injuries. At trial, Brennan tried to manipulate the court by changing his story multiple times, claiming the shooting was an accidental discharge while he was unloading the weapon. However, that did nothing for him because the jury put a final stop to these stories on February 6th, 2024. Brennan Hill was sentenced to life in prison for second-degree murder.
