Bay let me tell you the criminal matter case number 2405 98651 you have an attorney Council Reagan is that you behalf of Mr Quincy travic Bay your honor I was able to B of what he's charged with arm robbery the maximum penalty um and price judge I would ask the court well let me stop here I'll let the court proce counc you wait yes judge thank you I'm GNA of not guilty court dates are October 16 2024 it is a provoc CA conference filed by plinary examination October 23rd 2024 both matters are in front of Judge Jefferson Mr travic Bay there's some Bond conditions sir one is you're not possess any Firearms or any other dangerous weapons including knives machetes pepper sprays uh tasers you are not to have any contact on a feris Muhammad that means no person a person contact no contact to third parties no phone calls no emails no text messaging let's see sto right behind his car on the camera and he told me to leave and I did what he said Mr traic Bay Mr traic Bay everything is being recorded please don't say anything about the alleged incident sir appreciate it and oh you not go to the location 8007 mile do you understand those Bond conditions sir Okay C go ahead please uh yes your hna the people in this matter are asking for 75,000 cash ass shed each other house arrest people know that this is all uh reported on a video that Mr Trav Bay was in at the gas station harassing customers complaint asked him to leave he displayed a knife and threatened to kill him more than one time he then proceeded to take items from the the gas station convenience area at knife Point police arrested him shortly thereafter with the item and the knife the complaint identified SE I do note that Mr tra Bay has a history of drug offenses as well as a 1994 great bodily harm to counts in which he did prison time he was eventually his last time of being on probation or parole was May 5th of 23 I believe that um it appears that Mr uh from the file as well as from the arraignment today that Mr traic Bay May uh suffer from some mental issues based on that and um The Assault of allegation set forth I'm asking for that and his prior uh assault of record I'm asking for that curity bond with the tether house arrest and of course contact with the gas station and go back to that location is that correct counc Cole yeah won't go back to that Lo he won't go back we're asking for5 personal bond with the DPS tether and the I would knowe that he is 48 Liv lives in the city so he has TI Community judge um does have prior as M did State you know but but I understand it it seems minting but it's very dangerous Jud whenever you talk about alleged weapon I understand that but traffic B not go back have no contact uh and if you put him on house arrest can't go out the house so I would ask for a personal Bond personal bond for him with whatever conditions thank you and the court will know that the charge of D robbery falls under the court rules 6.16 where this case can be remand nobody's asking for remand on the people's side but they are asking for monetary amount Court uses CLE convincing evidence standard Court had the opportunity to look at the investigator's report allegedly while the incident is caught on CCTV footage supposedly they observed a knife in Mr traic Bay's hand and the the allegations are is that he threatened to kill at least one individual they tried to stop him because he had some he had just stolen some multiple items I sto from the police owner told me to leave usually I wait for the police to get there he said leave I said okay my bike was gone you don't need to say anything more please Court uses clear convincing evidence standard court is going to adopt the recommendation $75,000 cashy we're not going to place a GPS tether on Mr travic Bay this is an unaffordable Bond Council Reagan is that correct yes thank you okay that means he's going to get another court date this Friday October 11th okay in front of Friday October 11 9:00 FR of Judge bore Judge Williams who look at the bond amount and bond conditions do I get a personal now no sir you're getting another the Jud is looking at am no sir you getting another court
