in henry county refused to give her driver's license then she took video of officers smashing her car window to get to her and for license police believe they did everything as they should the woman insists the law is on her side tonight she talked with john sherry officers told the woman repeatedly to give them her driver's license after they stopped her saying she was driving with broken tail lights the woman repeatedly refused to hand over her license this is what happened officers broke through the driver's side window and arrested the woman who was recording it all with her cell phone it was unnecessary it was uncalled for lauren law was driving in stockbridge on friday and a henry county police officer was behind her in traffic and says he saw her stop twice at red lights and her brake lights never came on so he pulled her over and she clicked record what crime have i been suspected of committing is that a crime officer just give me a license lauren law insists a traffic violation is not a crime and according to a court ruling she cites called people versus battle she does not have to surrender her license if she hasn't committed a crime the officer keeps telling her to give him her license she keeps refusing he calls for backup the other officers tell her repeatedly finally warning her that they'll break her window to arrest her and they do they arrest law for launched an internal investigation of the officers but say her video and the police dash cam video show the officers acted within the law and that the law requires drivers to give their licenses to police officers in traffic stops ms law does not have an attorney yet but says she will fight this and when she picked up her car later from impound video shows the brake lights working just fine in
