I'm sitting inside my unmarked patrol car here in Daytona Beach Florida where the outside temperature is in the low 90s and inside my car the temperature is easily that and the reason I bring that up is yesterday in Orange City Florida not far from here we avoided a disaster Thank You Jessica Keyser saw a Nissan Rogue what they thought was a doll in the backseat well that doll turned out to be an eight month old child the temperature was 93 degrees the windows were up and that child was in the car seat with no air-conditioning she was quickly called the mergency responders who got there on a scene took the child out of the car and 24 minutes after the 9-1-1 call was received the mother of that child came out from other stores imaginable an eight-month law in a car where the temperature in the outside is 93 degrees wind is up no air conditioner law had that woman had Jessica Kaiser not come out and been observant like that we would have been discussing a tragedy of an eight month old child the mother has been arrested and charged with child neglect she told investigators that she thought she dropped their three kids off at her father's house and then proceeded to the store to run some errands that child would've been in this car for 24 minutes now I challenge anyone to sit in a car an adult to sit in the car for 24 minutes at 3 o'clock in the afternoon with the Sun blazing down and see what the end result would be we can't hammer home enough how important it is for parents to stay on top of their game and understand that that little life is depending on you and the same token it's people like Jessica Kaiser by being aware of their surroundings who saved that young baby's life and I couldn't be more proud and more happy and that is the post that is the kind of person that Jessica is indicative to our community somebody who knows what's going on took action decisive action and saved the life
