okay yeah it's not quite finished yet man yeah so go on the outside yeah I don't like I don't like it either but until I get it fixed yeah so um can you explain yes so um my wife and I we walk down here with our dogs back and forth then we go to then we go to 10 Street which is right up there make a right go Street come back and then Contin down we stay on the sidewalk we were trying to stay on the sidewalk ESS um so make a right on 10th Street which is eight turns into 8th AV East and like two houses in there's a a Fen in home but it has a big dog it's probably like 800 lb big dog sidewalks blocked off so we walk outside on the street we have our three dogs with us the big dog busted through the gate and attacked our medium size he's about 15 lb tore his whole guts on the side um I had to pick him up throw him a few times and our other dog our other dog helped out too um and we had to take our dog to the emergency room last night for bet so we want to file a report against them for to collect something back mhm that's the safety I mean yeah and now now we're afraid to walk down the street with the other two dogs because it's probably going to bust it the fence again the dog it's can you say bigger dog it's a big dog it's probably about 80 to 100 lb it's like a it's a brindle color darkle probably maybe like a German Shepherd Pit mix maybe to that effect all right the owners that they ever did you make cont oh yeah they had like five people there and all they did was stay inside their house yelling no no stop like they didn't come out to grab them there was no reaction description of any of them one was a young kid um 15 no he's taller he's taller than me 15 16 give or take one was an older lady like she seemed like the grandma of the family and she was just like in shock like I think she saw the whole thing the other one like a mom Hispanic black hair uh caramel size caramel color skin um she was blaming us saying our door our door was locked it's not our fault and I have my dog like gushing blood and I'm like look at my dog it's we're in the street like we didn't go to their house and she looked and she's like oh my God like you know but and then there was a gentleman that was getting into his white truck but he was quiet he didn't say anything anything um and I want to say there was somebody in the back but them I didn't see very well I saw more the the young boy the grandma what appeared to be the grandma um the mom and then a gentleman older gentleman and I saw like the dog's dad he's probably like in his 30s Hispanic yeah that's well I don't know if it's the same person I don't know if it's different or not I know he d a blue truck and I don't see it over there okay and um can I get your information sure my name is um and you guys got the address of the well I was asking if you could point it out say you saw the truck from here yeah so um I'll walk out here and grass the guys see I'm used to it now have ch currently they changeed up the but uh I have a pictures yeah we got pictures of it this is how it looks now after the fact so you want to step down where it's more level are you okay there I'm leaning on my good one thank you though yeah um but I'll show you so that's once I already passed happen yesterday yeah yesterday at 600 p.m. okay if you notice they added wood to the entry how could we go about like feeling more saf on down they put all I wish there was a quick way to take care of it unfortunately when it comes to dog bites it's a lengthy process we have to control they're going to come out proba ask you a lot of you last night I don't remember yeah so typically it goes both ways we do a report they do a report as well in coordination usually so we'll be on the scene at the same time as them that way we don't ask you the same questions over and over again maybe I should ask them about they on there I didn't even I don't even do something typically they have to animal control has to build a case so if this was the first inent involving the dog for instance it's the first of the paper trail right so if it happened again well they have the documented that it already happened once now we got a second occurrence now we have a problem dog right I don't it's always tricky when it's dog on dog they do have a some dogs are Territorial and they don't like other dogs right side the dog came from the left you're right should happen I'm not saying that I'm saying when it's dog versus human one wayg Tak another way I was literally walking cuz I had my walk and my dogs unleash you can carry some sort of ma when iank on my dog cuz I I we were past the house probably not a taser youd have to get pretty close to do to use a Taser some sort of Mace usually is a good deterrent get it in their nose mouth eyes that area had to do with dogs before I'm in the military my so I yanked and I felt so horrible cuz I I almost feel like when I yanked it's when proba you solu so it was in the short term you know from both sides you can't somewhere you got the freom to walk wherever you [Music] want the whole Road the whole househ with with cars or like half out they don't want to release them yet still in the so um I'm animal over yeah no it's it's completely uncalled for and I've walked through there before and yeah I've seen the dog it's barked but it stays indoors so it's kind of like okay I mean it's public property it's a sidewalk you know they c a sidewalk but for it to come through the fence and then they don't take to me a bigger Ang they're not taking responsibility they're like oh the gate was locked I didn't go open your gate like why would I go open your gate honestly if I was if I wasn't there oh I would have been so screwed I had more than one dog yeah I I mean I can't barely walk if it would have just been me cuz I walk my dogs they walk really slow with me if it would have literally been me he doesn't always walk with me I'm out I don't know what would have happened yeah I don't know like I was telling him it might be a good idea to get some mace or something you can carry with you so normally I do but because cuz he was with you I was with him and it's so I have a I work for the post office so I have a dog spray I probably shouldn't use it civilian cuz it was post office issued but I do have it and I normally carry the his spray that it's not pepper spray but it's just hisses so it's supposed to something that like gets their attention yeah get their attention refocus them yes yeah it's like a training I use it for training for my dogs and I like 90% of the time I carry it but I felt secured because we were all of us together I didn't carry it with me well we'll swing by take a look and see if we can make contact with them I I know that they that we know cuz we talked to the to the animal control and they said there's nothing they can do it's animal to animal so they document so they they did they say they're coming out on Monday they said they're going to get a hold of us on Monday get a report they're going to get a report on but essentially like nothing's going to happen well like I was and that's the unfortunate part is like I was telling him uh while y'all were talking is you know it's a documentation process they have to build a case and it starts unfortunately it starts with an attack and then another one I don't know if it goes to three or not but they have to have a pattern that they establish that then they can take action and it's it's tough I know and that's not what you want to hear I no that's not I don't like saying it I wish I could say oh yeah we'll go we'll go take care of this problem right now but that doesn't work like that you know and it's it's it's yeah yeah I get it it's just kind of a who's to say because he can't behind us who's to say he didn't come for him cuz he was behind me and the dog got in we didn't catch everything I caught him when he was leaving but I can't turn I didn't see 100% of everything I can't turn that quick um so I can't say he went to attack him and my dog got in front of him or that he went straight for the dog I think they have cameras they have cameras so so who's to say they're going to actually get give the video you know putting them in in a predicament or if it is it like a ring type thing no yeah to almost it's like a different type of camera okay I know some people limit their range so it doesn't catch all the cars driving by but I'm not going to speak for them I don't know if they've done that or not I don't know so no that's what we have to do too and barely catches that enough to get the the mailboxes Cas somebody steals a mail y but that's it cuz otherwise the cars you get 28 notifications a night and yeah yeah but um yeah we appreciate it I mean just well it'll at least start the documentation process and then you know when animal control gets with you we'll leave you a case number so you know you can share that with them so they have a reference and and they will uh most likely reach out to us so we can link our events um and then we we'll start that process you know I wish it was quicker but it's just it's just not and I mean everything is a process unless it's it's like I said if yeah I had the dog bit him it it'd be a different story but you know and I hate to make it sound like your dogs are less than that's not the case understandable a human is human as a human you know yeah it is what it is we just want to make sure that we document and process it and move forward from because more than likely we're going to go to court yeah so we need to make sure what is what um your dog the one that was injured what kind of dog is that it's a chihuahua terrier it's a small 15 lb dog compared to at least 80 lb dog that they have and I guess he he might have asked I didn't hear uh is the dog still at the emergency or they saying he's in critical condition critical okay he's in critical condition for a point we thought we were going to lose him cuz he said he was turning purple already jeez so um well they lost a lot of blood that that's I know he's older but that's not the way we were expecting to lose him I mean we're prepping for it cuz he's already up there that's not the way we were planning it I mean not that we planned it of course of course all right well we'll make a call to animal control see if they have any on call units that can come out with us um but if not then like like told you they'll probably follow up with you on Monday so we'll we'll at least give you a case number yall you know hang out up there hang out in the AC and we'll be back in a minute okay appreciate it thank you so I wasn't here at the time when this happened I got a phone call and we came here the guy they were gone already uh as far as I know that my dog got out the gate and bit their dog um I didn't know where they live all I knew that they came walking down the road so I didn't know where they lived at see what was going on so we got here back the gym and we just hanging out here maybe the owner will come back cuz my sister did tell him that the order's not here but he's on his way uh so we were outside hanging out maybe he'll come through and and see what's going on cuz I wanted to see how the dog was and um he come so my son so we went out to go to the communion store to get sign something to munch on we come back and my son was like that's him that's the guy cuz my son was here when this happened M um he like that's him dad and he was over here waving down the cameras uh my son that's him so I told him okay let me talk to the guy so we're coming around and he's coming this way towards us and the way he's approaching us doesn't look like he wants to have a conversation so I have my 11-year-old son behind me I got my wife coming with a bag of Chinese food and um we're coming in so I'm like you know what let me just put my son inside the gate get my wife inside the gate and then we talk uh but he would not let me talk at all he would just straight yep just straight yelling and curing and uh telling me that I'm going I'm going pay for everything and making threats and stuff like that I'm like look man I can't even talk to you so we can't have a civil conversation me um so he left he left and stuff he left he was hanging out here by the gate he left and then he threw a little stick at the truck which is nothing but still I'm like come on man you know I understand your frustration I I have a dog too and I you know and I love this dog like it was my own family so I understand your I understand your frustration but if you're coming over here let me figure out what's going on I wasn't even here to begin with so tell me what happened how's your dog how can I help you you know but um as far as I know I don't know anything um Right Out New Jersy he came back a couple times this morning I guess my sister said driving around and I'm like I stood here till 11:30 this morning maybe he'll come back maybe he's come back and like maybe we can talk now so um but no uh we went out out and then my sister's like hey the cop down the road and I went by and it's it's that's where they live at that's that's them so and that's why we're like okay so we're hanging out here hopefully I'm hoping you guys actually pull up and see what else we can go where can we go from here or what does he want to do so um at the moment we're waiting for animal control to come out they're going to take their report uh we have our report as well um from that point it's just going to be documented that their your dog had an incident so it's not like they're going to initially just come and take your dog it's something that they're be a pay Patrol before they can act on it but um in the meantime you might want to try to figure out better ways to just make sure he doesn't get out yeah I have my dog in the house she's an indoor outdoor dog so she's in and out she's never she she doesn't do this we have four other chuah was in the house you know the way what happened it's so out of her character like I said I don't understand what happened to her so probably just cuz I have dogs myself she probably like this is home and then you said the challs which actually I have a chah and I have American staish here my American staish here he is protective about that Chihuahua so if he if you're sorry she saw it as a threat to the Chihuahua probably just protect him out yeah see yeah like I said I understand his frustration and everything but uh we couldn't figure out anything yesterday so um so yeah uh I don't do you know how the dog is by any chance do you know how his dog is the dog is actually still at the Animal Hospital uh stay tonight last night and then also tonight as well they were saying critical still waiting to hear if we're going to make it or not said something about some damage to the abdomen had some severe stuff going on um still a little touch and go okay see so you recommend me just hang around here at the house yeah how long it's going to take for animal control to get not sure they're on another call at the moment but um they're aware of the situation and they're be here when they are when they can it might you know we do need your information tomorrow but like he said we're just documenting yeah we're not taking like any kind of action today has your dog ever had an incident like this before she's got out before in the past yeah she she ended up attacking uh yeah another dog like two years ago was that documented um yeah yeah cuz I had to pay a fine for that yeah got well it'll probably be something similar to that I don't know how long the payer trol goes before they take action yeah um yeah last time when that happened you guys you guys did everything like literally um a couple days later I think I got a letter in the mail with the F that I had to pay the court cuz they had fresh charges and um was like a civil thing it was like a su like they sued you for the cost of the No No so it's it was so the her dog and my dog I guess her dog came up to the fence when that happened and my dog ended up coming out of the fence cuz her Pitbull was all the way up to my fence so my my dog literally just took the fence open it up and and when they were out there fighting I guess my dog ended up scratching her and she pressed charges for that yeah see she press chares for the scratches my dog did to her and um called it a bit that my dog bit her um but um yeah that's what happened that one time got you well the animal you know animal on human stuff is taken a little differently than animal versus animal so that's what I thought I don't even know how how how that goes about I kind of figured it was different as far as R end is just a documentation animal can control you know they're they're the ones that are going to have the more in depth stuff and take action on their end so they're on their way in metime just get your yeah so first other than that we're just waiting on them good you guys to hang out till they come or yeah we'll be in the area uh we may we may run around the corner up here got something else going on but we we'll be in the area all right sounds good when they do get here we'll be back okay I guess in the meantime I'll stick around here at home um if you don't see me outside you want to
