we refer me do solemnly swear affirm that I will support and protect and defend the Constitution and the government of the United States and I will support protect defend the Constitution of the government United States and the state of Florida because I think that this city is a great city we got some great plans for it not only policing but community [Music] [Music] I think it's important that the show the deputies that I'm part of any organization that I'm going to lead from the front and I'm never gonna make it this issue without being out of history and see it exactly what they go through you know whether it's easier goals whether it's the equipment whatever it is I'm the one that has to make that decision and I want them to know that I'm and I'm not making a decision in a vacuum the first thing I'll tell you is the only thing I've ever learned I've been a police you can took place it's been 18 years in Philadelphia the only difference in police work is the shape of the badge police work as police work the cops are good cops bad cop to bang cops so there's no difference in that aspect of it for me it's gonna be the obviously the organization is two times two times bigger what they tell is and obviously covered the county we're talking about covering a county it's the size of Rhode Island
