Yeah, I got matches in a row. >> Do you have a receipt for the transaction? >> Huh? [screaming] >> My stuff. Make sure your [laughter] fire >> the clothes. Oh, the clothes. The clothes. You tying the bag of clothes. >> What? From blatant denials to chaotic resistance, the thieves did anything but admit their guilt. But justice always prevailed, and their ending was never going to be a good one. Here are the times when the worst shoplifterss ever caught on police body cam. One wrong step always leaves a lesson behind. Don't forget to like and subscribe to support us. First, the shoplifterss believed they still deserve to be treated like a child. >> You know, so much going on. Our dad is going through surgery. Look, this is my last time before I put you in handcuffs. Give me the purse and everything and get in the back of the car. >> On June 12th, 2023, officers approached two girls at Walmart's loss prevention office on suspicion of shoplifting. But instead of cooperating with the officers to clarify the situation, they made everything more complicated with their pleas. I've never been through nothing like this. I've never been to jail. I've never saw anything in my life. This wasn't a thing. Like, we literally have so much going on. Our dad is going through surgery. My mom bust her head open. It's a lot right now right now. That's why we're staying with a friend. And we have not literally got up to go shopping for brunches or did anything because we're just going to stuff. >> That's up to y'all. While one woman cried in an attempt to gain sympathy, the other remained strangely calm, which raised suspicion about whether this was a calculated act. >> So, let's go. >> We're going to jail. >> Can you come on? Like, y'all are crying. Like, that's >> Can I please get attention before I go? >> I don't have any. >> This is why we're going to the car. >> Please. >> No, we're going to the car and we can have all the conversation you want to have. >> Sir, please. >> Can we please go? >> I'm not trying to put you in handcuffs. I literally didn't feel anything though. I was just sitting there the whole time. >> Please. >> You got anything illegal on you? >> No. Please. >> Face the car. Let me pat you down real quick. >> Oh my god. >> What did I do wrong? Can you please watch the tape? I didn't scan anything at all. >> I did not scan anything. That was exactly the problem. She took the items without scanning them for payment. Yet, the woman completely portrayed herself as the victim, forcing the officer to calm her down. >> I'm really trying to be nice with you. Give me your purse and everything. Okay. >> Can I at least go get my sister? Can you walk with me? >> No, I'm trying to be nice. Okay, let me just go tell my mom. >> You're not calling nobody at this time. This is an investigation. >> Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. >> So, get in the car. Give me the purse and get in the car. >> Wait, can you tell me what's going to happen at least? >> Look, this is my last time before I put you in handcuffs. Give me the purse and everything and get in the back of the car. >> Okay, >> give me that. >> Okay, >> that too, please. If you wish, you could decide at any time to exercise these rights and not answer any questions or make any statements. Do you understand each of these rights I've explained to you? >> Yes. >> Having these rights in mind, do you wish to speak to me at this time? Do you wish to speak to me about this time? What happened? >> No. >> I have a question. >> It's a yes or no. How you going? You can't ask me a question without asking without saying yes. Yes. Oh, >> no. So, you would like to talk to me at this time? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> Although tears streamed down her face moments earlier, the instant the officer began pressing her about the story behind it all, those tears suddenly disappeared. >> What was your intentions when you came into the store? >> My intention was to get groceries and go home. >> So, why you guys So, what happened in between that time and y'all trying to walk out the door? >> No. When we were getting the groceries, the lady kept coming up to us. I told y I had a lot going on. I'm not paying attention. I'm just putting She putting the [ __ ] in the car. I'm okay. Cool. Like we just want to get the groceries, go home. We got an appointment at 6:40. Our intentions was to never to steal. You can look at her purse. We got money. We have money. We play with Link. >> So, how do So, why did you guys cross the last point of sale? >> What do you mean? She literally came to our car and said, "Okay, you guys scanned everything." Okay. She was checking our cart. She Okay. And we were like, "Okay, cool." She just kept coming to us and then she was in the baby face and then it was like a lot going on and so she was like okay you guys scanned everything you're good to go have a great day and we're like okay cool not thinking anything of it we walk out and the lady stopped us and we were like she was like you guys didn't scan a couple things and we were like what we the lady literally just told us that we scanned everything cuz she checked our car before we left and so we went in the room and she said I'm not going to I'm not going to Um, I'm going She said, "I'm just going to let you guys go before the police come and you're just going to get a trespassing pass, a trespassing thing to just go because this is like your first time >> ever like doing this >> or something like that." And we were like, "Okay." And then you came and then she said something different. So, we're looking at her like, "But you literally just said that >> you weren't going to call the police. You were just going to let us go. And I've never stolen nothing in my life before. I'm not a thief. >> So, you never came in the store with intention of not paying for anything? >> No, I pay for everything. >> What did you think about the detailed story the woman tried to tell? In contrast to the second suspect, she almost completely accepted her fate by refusing to speak after her rights were read. >> Do you understand each of these rights I've explained to you? >> Yes. >> Having these rights in mind, do you wish to speak to me at this time? >> No. Okay. Just to let you know, you're under arrest for retail theft, but I'm going NTA you. Okay. So, that mean you'll have a court date. >> So, you have to be in court. >> So, I can just go home. >> Yes. But you will have a court date to where you'll have to appear in court. >> She's going to jail. Literally, >> who? >> My friend. >> We both were at the register paying for stuff. >> Am I getting arrested? >> Can you hug up the phone? No, he said, >> but anyways, you both are doing it. >> So, she'll get arrested, too. She'll get NTA, but you will have to appear to court. If you do not appear to court that on the paper that I gave you, they'll put a warrant out for your arrest. I'm trying to cut you apart, give you NTA. This is why I didn't put you in handcuffs and I'm not going to send you. >> Thank you so much. I'm so sorry. >> Don't say sorry to me. Just don't do it again. >> I'm not I'm not a thief. I know. >> In the end, both of them were charged with retail theft and trespass from the premises. Once a line is crossed, consequences follow, whether intended or not. Stay aware, stay accountable, and never let emotions or distractions push you into decisions that can damage your future. Next, the woman thought she could shoplift like it was 1,987. >> Put the phone down. Phone >> say I was stealing until I left the store. >> You saw you leave the store. Go off. >> On April 15th, 2024, officers were dispatched to Walmart after receiving a report of a fraudulent return that had taken place, suspected to be theft and a cash refund. At that moment, the officers and LP staff were able to see the details of her actions through the surveillance screens. >> She return. >> We might get you to go sit on the other side. She just loaded up a bag of stuff. I think she's doing some frog returning right now, but she's in the middle of the front, so she may go out that side. >> She thinks she is so good. Ain't going to deny it. Deny it. Deny it. >> Deny it till you die. >> That's it. This is easy cuz >> No, she had selected them toys. What I said I just said I saw she was fixing the bags and bags all that stuff in toys. >> Did she have anything when she came in the store? I can now. >> So that's that just the whole cart is fraudulent returns. >> You got to register not register. Um he's talking to register. See still. Mhm. Well, she still that drink for [laughter] she for the drink said she pays for the drink. She right at register two and three. Well, between four and five, putting everything in bags and bags and bags. >> Wait, the clothes. Oh, the clothes. The clothes. You tying the bag of the clothes, you know. So, >> a short time later, the staff showed clear signs that they were ready to move forward with detaining the woman. Let's see. She probably see >> I know she's on the phone. >> Yeah, she got some fraudulent returns and then she's got a bag for all this clothes and stuff she didn't pay for. She got some drinks she didn't pay for. >> Yeah, he said she walking back and forth. >> She need to go. She need to take that ride to the downtown. >> If you got Norah no more. Come on now. Tell her get on. >> Oh, there she is. Put the phone down. >> The woman had not realized that her actions had been under surveillance, so she resisted the arrest, which caused chaos to erupt. >> How are you all doing? composition. You have the right to handle anything you say can be used to get you in the court of law. You have the right to turn. If you got forward turned to anytime doing investigation, you can stop answering questions. Do you understand your rights? >> Do you understand? Don't throw me down. >> I don't understand your rights. >> I thought you understand your rights. No, I I wasn't even near the store. What are you talking about? I'm waiting. I'm stupid. Do >> you understand the right? >> Yes, but I want to know why y'all just did that to me. >> So, I'll put you against those. >> So, what can I do? >> And return. >> What's in return? >> Let's go. >> What's What's in return? >> It's when you return something you didn't buy. >> What can I What What did I buy? What did I not buy? >> Stop lying to me, >> sir. What did I not buy? >> Time. The time now is to be honest. You don't need to be lying. >> It was clearly seen that she had stepped outside the designated shopping area of Walmart, making her arrest entirely understandable except her own mind at that moment. >> The van, the van is still freaking looking for me. >> Y could have let me store it. I was silly. >> Put your money right here. >> Okay. How can y'all say I was stealing until I left the store? >> Sorry you leave the store. >> No, I'm done. I was outside to go instead of asking us to help me find a basket. Sir, >> we're done. We're done. The difference in you getting a ticket versus getting booked in jail is over. You're going to jail. >> We were going to give you a ticket. This is going to be going to jail. >> Wow, that's so stupid. >> Pick up the one you stole. And then you did pass on points of sale. Now you're saying you hate me again on the video. >> I've been watching you for the last 30. I I just bought. >> Do you have anything that's going to focus or stick in your >> pockets? 30 minutes. >> Yes, I don't. >> What is this? >> I just That's why we're safe. >> Anything that's going to focus or stick us knives, scissors, needles, >> dude. Why did he say it all? >> No, sir. about your house. >> Oh, I just purchased all of that and it's on the receipt. >> How can you tell me it's not the receipt? >> You start talking >> and I have the receipt for the pool. I paid man with all that. >> You're good. She's good. >> How can y'all please not show me I didn't come in with all that? >> Okay. I didn't know if you want to put her in here. Yeah, she'll bring in the office. Where's the A with the bag? >> Uh, she's coming. That's the store. >> Shortly after, officers proceeded to search the woman's bag and discovered several suspicious items. Where's your license? Is it wallet? Is it >> That's probably the closest thing I have so far right there. >> ID. >> No, I don't have another. >> That's my father-in-law's medicine. >> Why? Because someone tried to steal his beds. Well, you're going to be taking taking a charge for that as well. >> It's all prescribed. >> It's not a prescription bottle, which makes illegal. >> So, it's stol by >> you have to carry you have to carry prescription bottle. >> Okay, that's fine. >> That's fine. It's your your >> What's your name? >> Huh? >> What's your name? the ride. The way you beat up on me like that was not fair. >> Oh, the way you resisted. >> I did not resist, sir. I was trying to tell you I hadn't even left the store. >> I was asking. >> During the process of verifying the woman's information, officers discovered that she had outstanding warrants. And at that moment, they made their decision. >> So, the thing is, you are still going to jail. Okay, you're not getting a theft charge, but you are still going to jail. Could you help warrants? You resist the police, >> right? And you're not resisting offense. >> OWI second offense. >> I think I resist y'all. >> Okay. So, you put the basket in the garden center whenever they >> get to the resist. It was to the point where you had to get put into a basket for you to stop. And then this grown man had to tell you. >> In addition, officers uncovered several details in the case that raised suspicions the woman might have been involved in illegally reselling stolen goods. >> Do you have somebody that's here to pick you up? I was I was like >> So there's nobody here right at this noise. >> What about the chick that was filming you? >> Huh? >> What about the chick that was in the SUV right across? >> That woman that was in the SUV right across. You don't remember her? >> No. >> Who are you on the phone with? >> When when we arrested you, you were on the phone. Who you were talking to? >> No, I was giving somebody a message earlier. you were talking. Who was the person you were talking to? >> I called someone on marketplace earlier to see if they were going to meet their client. >> I I don't really know who they are. It's people I buy stuff marketplace, but it would be always >> So you called someone, but you don't know their name. >> Well, I mean they're they put like a marketplace, but that's necessary their name, you know. So it was like a handle like a Twitter handle back then. >> Yeah. Like Yeah. >> Like cuz that's my middle game like you know like I had to >> They're not They're not able to pick your stuff up. >> I can't I got to make >> Well, yeah, I understand that. But would they would they come back and pick it up? >> What's those white pills in the baggie? Finally, the suspect was charged with theft and prohibited acts, resisting arrest and bench warrant. Don't let one wrong decision spiral into a chain reaction that makes everything worse. Being honest from the start and cooperating with law enforcement always proved far wiser than denying it until the very end. Before moving on to the next thief, take a moment to reflect on the lesson this woman left behind. >> Come here. >> What's wrong with your hands? >> What is going on? >> Relax, man. Being detained. You're being detained right now. question. When I told you to stop when >> On December 26th, 2025, officers received a call from a nail salon reporting that a woman was in possession of stolen bank cards there and had fled the scene. As soon as they arrived, a tense pursuit unfolded. >> Back to me. It's going to be a choice to back up. >> Hey, come here. >> What's wrong with you? >> Goodbye to you, sir. >> Listen to me right now. >> Listen to me. Put your hands right here and see your hands. >> I will hit I will tase you. You don't put my hand. Please don't scare me, sir. >> All right. Relax your hands. Face face towards the back. >> Please don't scare me. >> All right. Come on. >> What is wrong with you? >> What are you doing with me, sir? >> Ma'am, >> you're scaring me. >> Let's go. from my mother. I >> got the hand. >> All right, your phone. >> Ma'am, relax. Stop moving, ma'am. Stop moving. >> I don't want to slam you on the ground, man. But I need you to relax. You understand me? >> Stop moving. Stop resisting. Stop resisting. >> I have a medical issue. >> No, you do not. Stop resisting. >> Stop resisting. Stop moving your arm. >> Stop moving your arm. >> My mouth will be >> Can I come my mom, please? >> Relax, ma'am. >> The woman did not show any denial when she was detained, which indirectly suggested that she had engaged in wrongdoing. However, that did not mean she did not make the situation even more difficult. Ma'am, relax. Right. >> Want to make sure you have nothing on you. Relax. Relax. >> Stop. Resist. >> Stop. >> I don't have anything on you, man. [panting] >> Ma'am, I need you to relax. All right. Stand fast. Don't move. I need you to put your legs shoulder width apart for me, please. Shoulder width apart. You have anything out here? >> No. Got your camera looking? >> Yeah. Yeah. >> What are you doing? >> I'll make sure you have no weapons on you. Okay. >> Stop playing games. There's no scary. You know exactly what you're doing. >> Allow the deputy to do his job. >> No weapons. >> I don't have any weapons. >> I have no idea. >> What in the world's going on right now? >> Let me see. >> What is going on? >> Relax, man. Being detained. >> You're being detained right now. Question. When I told you to stop or when I told you to stop, you took flight. Okay. Yeah, but I'm scared cuz I'm literally You know why? >> Stop. >> Relax. >> Move your feet. >> Okay. >> An officer returned to the store to clarify what had happened, watched the details, and gave us your thoughts on how this employee handled the situation. >> All right. So, we got a call here full of fraud obviously with the credit cards. >> Yes. >> Okay. >> So, she randomly walked in. She wanted to buy $700 worth of services. Were the credit cards to her? >> How do you know it was not? >> They're in her phone. They're all in her phone. She had like 17 different cards all in her phone and she >> mobile wallet. >> No. >> Or a picture? >> She wouldn't show me. >> Okay. >> Cuz I She's like, "You have to manually put them in." And I was like, "All right, well, show it to me and I'll put it in." She was like, "No, no, I'll I'll just do it. I'll do it." And she wouldn't let me see her phone >> or see if they were typed or if it's a picture of the card. So, I don't know. But it was all on her phone. >> Okay. >> And then they kept getting declined. It was like declined, fraud, declined. How do you know? Fraud. Fraud. Fraud. Yeah. It kept saying fraud for a bunch of them. Two and through. And then I had three clients call here and say, "Hey, Bank of America just sent me a message. Someone's trying to use my card at your business. It's not me." >> Okay. >> A woman walked in. She said she had her aunt and her mother with her and she wanted to pay for services. >> And how do you identify this woman? What was she wearing? Uh, she was wearing a black t-shirt that said from me on it. Um, and then she had short blonde fluffy wavy hair to her shoulders. >> Describe to me how she looked like in terms of is she black? She's Hispanic. >> Uh, she's Hispanic and uh, she was a little larger. >> Okay. All right. Keep going. >> The woman was confirmed to be a regular customer at the salon, which clearly explained why the employee remembered her appearance so well. But the question remained as to why she was suspected of fraud. >> How do you figure it was suspected of fraud? it showed up on my screen. It said it was declin declined suspected card, >> right? >> So, um, two. So, then she was like, "Well, let me split two. I'll tried 100 on this card and 300 on a different card." Those ones went through. Um, and then she still owed another 300. So, we tried like seven more cards and all of them were declined and said suspected fraud. And then she went next door to get a pedicure. Um, and I had three people call the salon and tell me that Bank of America or whatever bank they were using sent them a message saying someone tried to use their card at this business and it's not them. >> Okay. >> Is there a way we could pull up those transaction that said it was decline card? >> I looked. I don't know how to pull up like [music] declined ones. You could probably get it through the credit card company. >> Maybe it's the history. No, cuz I went through the history. These are all ones that went through. >> What about the opens? >> Opens are just those are ones that went through, but those are ones just from today. >> Okay. Do you have the phone numbers [music] for the individuals who called you? >> The woman was charged with felony credit card fraud and resisting arrest. This was a hard lesson for businesses. Never let familiarity turn into blind trust. At the first sign of fraud, call law enforcement immediately. Even worse, this petty thief did nothing but cry like a toddler. >> For what? >> For shoplifting. >> I did not know. I just bought that shopping. >> MY STUFF. MY OFFICE. My stuff. >> On January 4th, 2024, officers were dispatched to a subway after receiving reports that a woman suspected of shoplifting at Walmart had fled there. When they approached her, she appeared to have already prepared excuses for herself. >> Hello. We have somebody matching your description that was shoplifting at the Walmart. >> They said they took off towards the subway wearing an orange jacket striped by >> Oh, yeah. No, I mean they said they thought I was but I don't have a flashlight I didn't have a flashlight that I got at their store. >> Okay. >> I got one at Harbor Freight a lot earlier >> and I have I got matches in a rope cuz I'm setting up on my camp again and it's dark. You know what I mean? But I didn't need that. I just needed the matches in the rope so I could set up the tarp. Do you have a receipt? >> Um, >> for any of the I thought you said you got matches in a tarp. >> Yeah, I got matches in a row. >> Do you have a receipt for the transaction? >> Huh? >> Do you have a receipt for that transaction? >> No, I'm just getting a sandwich now. I don't know. I mean, I brought it all over here. >> For what? >> The rope. The rope finished. >> Okay. The officers quietly moved aside the items that she could not prove she had receipts for. And in the midst of the woman's confusion, they caught her off guard. >> For what? >> For shoplifting. >> I did not know. I just bought that. >> I didn't know. >> Hey, relax. >> You're being detained. >> For what? >> Shoplifting. You do this. >> I didn't shoplifting. >> Relax. >> You have to make Please don't do this. >> [screaming] >> Give me a hand. Give me a hand. >> Why are you doing this to me? I don't want to hurt you down right now. I have to start everything by the time you can go every day. You for training. I'm not training you in dude. Why do you have to rescue? >> Why? Hey, >> relax. Don't do that. [screaming] >> MY STUFF. MY opposite my stuff. >> It's not important. It is important. THAT'S NOT FAIR. NOBODY SHOULD GET my stuff because you're a jerk. >> Relax. >> IT'S UNFAIR. >> STAND UP. >> NO. >> NO. You have to be fair. Please, please, somebody be fair to me. Please, anybody, please be fair. Please. >> In reality, she was only detained on suspicion. And as the investigation continued, she did nothing to help her case and only created more complications. >> What's your name? >> MA'AM. [screaming] >> WHAT'S YOUR NAME? MA'AM, >> you're going to get charged with facility. [screaming] [cheering] [screaming] >> What's wrong? >> Now I'm trying to help you anymore. >> You're being very important. >> How are you helping me? [screaming] Help. >> Well, I'm trying to figure out what's going on. >> You don't know [ __ ] about what's going on. I'm going to tell you. >> Okay. What's your name? >> It's not my business. Nobody will even let me know. >> What's your name? Nobody will even let me know. How am I supposed to help you? >> Okay. What's your name? >> How am I supposed to help you if nobody lets me know? >> You're going to get charged with consu if you don't. >> I'm finally just doing well minding my business. They call me down. >> Okay. WHAT'S YOUR NAME? >> NO. >> NO. >> OKAY. >> Right after detaining the woman, the officers returned to the subway store to gather additional information. >> You guys see me right there? Did did you see her hit by the officer? >> She came in and ordered a sandwich. She paid and everything and then Jess's restaurant. I told her they were out of order and then she just sat. Well, >> that's when I just showed up cuz I saw it going that way. >> Yeah. I don't know. I just >> Okay. Did you see any of that incident that happened right there? >> No, I I walked away. >> Okay. >> All right. Cool. >> They said that they went towards the back and they didn't see nothing. >> I know. So, I just felt like a I'm like, >> "Does that hurt?" Cuz I was like turning your wrist. >> Yeah, I didn't. That wasn't me. >> You going to take over there? >> Yeah. I'm going to try to figure out her name. Have you dealt with her before? >> I never seen a homeless male that was hitting himself in the face and hitting his head on a brick wall. >> You okay? >> I don't know yet. >> Okay. >> All right. This card. >> It's your Mander warning. It's your Miranda warning. I'm sorry. Do you understand these rights? I've explained them to you. >> You don't understand them. So, what do you not understand? >> Are you going to ask me questions after you give me those rights? >> Yes. >> Why should I care what to do? I don't know what to do. >> Okay. >> I'm doing the best I can. >> I understand that. >> I cannot handle all this [ __ ] I didn't do anything wrong. >> Okay. >> The woman continued to deny every report without any proof. While the officers, on the other hand, had information that directly contradicted her claims and supported evidence of her actions. The reason why we got called is because of a shoplift and I was reporting. I did see video footage of you. >> I'll be shoplifting. >> Yes. >> How? >> What's on video footage? >> Where did I lift? >> What do you mean where you lift? >> What did I lift? >> What' you grab? >> What did I shop for? That's not shoplifting. >> If you if you grab something and then you leave >> I pay for all the time. >> Okay. Do you have those flashlights on you? >> What? You guys took everything. I paid $10 for that sandwich that I'm not getting now because of you guys. >> Okay. >> You know how much that's cost and what I don't have. >> I'm sorry about that. Not to mention my house. >> I don't know what I'm supposed to do. >> Okay. Do you have any of >> What am I supposed to do? >> Okay. Do you have any of the >> And then when they let me out, what am I supposed to do then? >> Do you have any flashlights on your >> These people that are going to laugh at me for getting arrested? >> Do you have any flashlights on you? >> I don't know. >> Do you have any >> I don't know what I have on me. I don't even know if I have clothes or not. I feel so stupid. >> You do have clothes on, man. >> Obviously, my flesh is my clothes. >> I'm asking your question. Well, I'm answering your question. Can I Can I check your pockets to make sure there's no flashlight so we can roll that out? >> So, yeah. Deb, you should just take everything out of value off of me because you already have. >> Okay, so right now you're being detained. Okay, for the crime of shopping, >> obviously. Can I get out? >> No. >> Why? >> You're not free to leave. >> I'm not free to leave. I'm not trying to leave. What am I going to do? Leave in handcuffs and then run around like somebody's going to set me free? >> Like, I'm not just going to get thrown out and and made fun of some more because I'm in handcuffs I can't get out of. >> She still believed she could walk away after everything that had happened. When questioned about the items suspected of being stolen, she denied it again, which only deepened the suspicion. >> So, can I check your pockets to make sure there's no flashlight in there? >> No. >> No. >> Is that going to stop you? >> No. Well, whenever we do a When you do get arrested for shoplifting, I will >> I'm not shoplifting. That's what I was saying. They were matches. Matches are supposed to be free. >> Okay. Well, >> I don't know about the rope. Maybe the rope. I'm sorry. >> But still, like, what is that so big? And where does it have me taking them? >> Okay. Two packages. It's just like a regular long flashlight and then the ones that has like the LED bar. >> Mhm. >> You guys want to pursue for the shoplifting? >> Yeah. >> Why? Why can't you just kick at me and make me pay you? Like I would pay you. I just don't have that much to pay you all at once. >> Copy. >> Please let me pay you. >> Okay. Well, unfortunately, that ship has sailed. >> I thought I was on a payment plan. >> No. >> Why can't I just pay you? >> There's There's no payment plan when it comes to Walmart or at least any business. >> That's bull. I had a $25 dividend from them. >> Okay. Do you have anything on you that could cut stab or poke me? >> I have a pie in my teeth, but I'm not sure in my little cage bag. >> Okay. >> What do you have right here? >> I don't know. >> You don't know? >> I don't remember. I have just dropped everything to me and I don't know what I have on me till I get to a spot where I can take it all out and go through it. >> A golf ball. >> I juggle. I taught myself to juggle during the co >> That's pretty cool. >> It's not. >> Is it difficult to learn? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Let's see. That's a useful. >> I don't think so. >> It is. >> Keep me from wanting to hurt myself or other people, but I'll get a very often to do it because nobody gives a about that. Finally, the woman was charged with shoplifting and resisting arrest. When confronted with evidence, staying calm, being honest, and taking accountability can prevent a bad moment from turning into a far more serious consequence. Even more astonishing, she dressed like a robber, yet still believed she had done nothing wrong. >> I don't know, honestly. Like, I'm watching her pull things out that I did not that I took out. >> Why do you keep coming back here if if they if they're stealing from you? >> Tragically, I live around the corner and this is the cheapest place. On November 2nd, 2021, officers responded to a call from Walmart after receiving a report of a woman attempting to shoplift. The moment they arrived, nearly everything was already clear from the overflowing cart and even from the way she was dressed. >> So far, this and what's inside is all that's been paid for. >> Okay. So, she's paid for this, you okay? >> Yeah, that's receipt. This for t-shirts and stuff. And then I'm figuring out what's what's on this receipt, but >> Okay, so this is your >> This is for the t-shirts right here. And then I got the sunglasses right here on this one. >> Okay. Says t-shirts in that, but this hasn't been paid for. No. Okay. All right. >> Hello, ma'am. How are you? Um, just want to find out, you know, uh, what's going on? Why Why am I here today? I don't know, honestly. Like, I'm watching them pulling things out that I did not that I took out, sat on the counter, and left and then was like in the cart. And this is like third or fourth time that I've had issues with them that by the end of it they were like, "Oh, my bad." >> Yeah. So, >> okay. Well, first of all, what's your name? >> Tiffany. >> Tiffany. I'm I'm Officer Fields. I'm with Roswell Police Department. It's Officer Curry. Okay. >> It seemed the woman showed no remorse at all, and she already had a story prepared to justify that attitude. >> Um, okay. So, explain to me what's going on. So, you came to Walmart. What were you doing here? What' you come for? >> Winter clothing for my brother, his friend, and my boyfriend. >> Okay. So, you came for some winter clothing. >> Shelving for my >> Notice there's a lot of shades in there. Um >> $150. They're all on the receipt. >> Okay. And then um so talk to me about the shelving cuz that was not on the receipt. >> This I have the receipt of my family and I'm telling you there's seven things with shelving hang up. >> Okay. >> Like >> So why do they think you stole it? >> Yeah. I don't know. They have an embedding against me or something. >> Like genuinely I >> have they have real people out here that genuinely walk in here take. >> So what are they why are they telling us you stole this stuff today? >> I guess that's what they feel. >> Okay. >> But I didn't even walk out the door. So it's like >> they stop you right here. >> Yeah. On the other side. >> Yeah. I was only here so long because like my car had fire. >> Your car? >> They waited until my roadside got hit. >> She believed the employees held a grudge against her. Perhaps that was why she covered her face. But with three or four prior incidents like that, it truly raised serious questions for the officers. >> This is like the third or fourth time we caught her doing this today. Just happened to actually stop her. First time she tried to walk out with over $700 worth of stuff, but they >> they prevented her and she walked out the side just to abandon everything. >> Then another time was like a week ago >> where I stopped the front door cuz she missed all the stuff on the bottom. >> I want to understand if I was if there's video and I look at video, am I going to see you taking anything >> or do anything wrong? >> And I I go about my business. I take these out at the register. I can't afford them. Like you're not tripping. But the last two times that they did this, I was like there was mentioning paper and went inside and spent no issues. >> Okay. Um >> that is not the case. >> Okay. Okay. It's okay. So um have has there been any reports filed on this before for you? >> There's been no >> Can I see your phone, ma'am, with the receipt? >> Got to get away from That didn't happen. They might be confusing me with someone else, but I promise you that did not happen. >> Okay. I was here. I don't know. >> They got a They My phone died. They want to see the receipt, right? >> So, I'm like, "All right, let me charge my phone. I'll be right back." I come back, they put up, they won't give it to me. They won't give me a return. So, they're stealing from me at that point. >> Okay. >> You know, with corporate about that, >> trying to go off. >> Okay. The question continued to linger. If she truly felt she was being treated so unfairly, why did she keep coming back here instead of going somewhere else? >> Why do you keep coming back here if if they if they're stealing from you? >> Tragically, I live around the corner and this is the cheapest place to get stuff and I take care of my grandma. So, >> I understand. >> Okay. >> So, are are they going through all this stuff? Are are they going to find anything? Cuz it'll save you some time and me some time. >> They're not going to find anything that I intentionally would have taken. the girls scanned all that stuff and did a a suspended transaction. And >> I mean, is there anything in that stuff that's going to not show up on those receipts that you provided? >> No. >> You don't seem too very confident when you say that. >> Okay. So, I know y'all don't know, but like scan and go, right? You scan it, you go have people check it, go about your business, takes it off your card, right? >> Mhm. Once you have an issue or whatever, you transfer to the register. >> Yes, ma'am. >> Sometimes it doesn't all transfer through correctly. >> Okay. So, >> sometimes it does and it's like something that I've been like actually like have like spoke with them about >> Mhm. So, like >> you seem like you don't know if they're going to find something or not. >> They should not. But like I'm saying is the stand and go. This is the problem that I had before was that >> machine might give it a >> machine did something. It didn't have everything on there. >> Okay. >> So I went around and paid for it because it was intentional to be paid for. You know, I've scanned it on the phone. He said and he was like, "Oh yeah, I watched you scan." And I was like, "Okay, great." >> Was it like uh you at the self-s serve lane? >> No, but you do it all on like your phone. >> Okay. I don't know. I don't I don't >> Is it like an app like the Walmart app or something? >> All right, show me >> your finger. Whatever. And you go uh see do your view. He's got it in his hand. I'm looking at Yeah. >> Okay. So, we have all the images. So, can you >> So, scan and go. You're going to go like >> It seemed she had carefully prepared for this encounter with the police. Yet, the employees still uncovered her actions. >> She probably scanned them >> the short ones for all of these together. It's called ticket switching when you scan the cheaper items. So >> that came up here. >> So if you scan that six times instead of scanning all of these. >> How much are these? >> That's 14.97. >> That's uh And then >> these are 4156. >> That's this one right here. So So you guys are just verifying to see what she has paid for, what she has not, and then we'll get the training receipt. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Now, is everything rang up correctly? You didn't double ring something for something else? That kind of thing? Like you didn't take the small shelves as a cheaper price and use that for the big shelves for the higher price. >> I think all the shelves were supposed to be the same. >> You think they are or do you know? >> Well, you had the app there. What does it say there? >> Well, I didn't. >> I'm just saying for instance. >> Um, no. They were all supposed to be four tiered plastic shelves, you know. So, >> okay. >> I'm going to assume they should have all been the same. So, it's looking like the two little shelving units that you got right there on the receipt. It says she bought six of them for about 90 bucks in total, but in reality, she only got two of them. And then >> use those for the price >> and and and then she had the bigger ones price. >> U scanned these. So these are like 15 bucks a pop and those are like 40. >> At that moment the officers gave her a chance to be honest, but she only left them disappointed with the story she stubbornly clung to. >> Scann all this. >> Yep. [snorts] So then as I'm going to pay for it, something on their end, nothing to do with me. >> Yep. >> It suspended it. >> Yep. >> So we redo it again and she's like, "Okay, it's time for me to go >> and tosses me over there." And >> when they suspended it, why did you instead of leaving it, why did you leave it? I mean, why did you take it with you? >> I was intending to get it. My total was not that much for for certainly not that much. It doesn't make sense. Not even on like some crybaby doesn't take accountability. I'll take accountability for things I've done, but like not for things I haven't done. >> All right. Well, here's what's going to happen. Okay. You have to come with us. Why? >> Because they're pressing charges against you. Okay. They're placing you under arrest. Is that correct? >> Yes, sir. They're placing you under arrest for shoplifting. If you're claiming you've paid for all this, you'll have your receipts. You'll go to court and you'll you'll you'll discover in court. Okay? They'll be there in court with you along with us. Okay? I mean, unless you can prove that you've paid this, show bank accounts, show your, you know, something. But they're claiming that after all the stuff they went through and the receipts that they have on copy, but you claim that they have, this is what's left over. I don't know what I don't have that suspend receipt. I don't have any of that. So like >> Well, who's the employee that that helped you? What was her name? >> Yeah. >> Or was it his name? >> I don't know. She left at 2:00. >> 2:00 was a good time. >> Yeah. >> So if you know Okay. How do you know that? >> Because that's why she tossed me on to someone else. That's why I'm >> Cuz she said, "I'm getting off it, too. Go somewhere else." >> Basically. Yeah. >> After that, the officers decided to take the woman into custody. But what stood out even more was the face behind the mask still showing not the slightest trace of remorse. Seriously, no like other option here. >> No, ma'am. It's a felony amount. If it was misdemeanor amount, I'd probably cut you a ticket, but I can't. >> What is a like What is a felony? >> Anything over $500? >> Okay. Is that okay? >> What do we do? This stuff here. >> Uh, that stuff. >> Do you have anything on here? >> Um, illegal. >> I don't know. >> Turn around. >> Ma'am, you have anybody who can pick up the stuff that you did pay for? >> No. And then we'll just refund it, too. >> You can just stand there for me, man. >> Okay. >> All right. So, Tiffany, um, Walmart is wanting a criminal trespass warning. Okay. >> Tiffany, all this is saying that you can't come back here. Okay. You can go to a Walmart in Canton, Woodstock, wherever it is. You can't come back to this specific >> Walmart. >> Okay. Normally, we would have you sign it. Obviously, you're uncuffed. We're not going to go through the trouble again to uncuff you. So, you can sign it. We're just letting you know. You nodded your head. You acknowledge it. So that way you'll have your copy, the store will have theirs, and then we'll have a one for our records. Okay. >> You acknowledge this uh criminal trespass warning? >> Yeah. >> Can you nod your sir? >> Thank you. >> Okay. So, >> in the end, she was charged with felony theft by shoplifting. When [music] someone keeps blaming others instead of facing the truth, the consequences only grow heavier. No excuse can outweigh repeated choices, and avoiding accountability will always lead straight back to the same outcome. Next, officers faced a full-blown fried food frenzy. >> No, actually she had not given up. >> On March 19th, 2023, officers were dispatched to a Waffle House after a fight broke out. And when they arrived on scene, the situation seemed far more chaotic than they had imagined. My phone. Get in my phone though. I NEED MY PHONE. YOU >> HEY, go outside. Go outside. I get your phone. I DON'T CARE. GO OUTSIDE. GO OUTSIDE. JUST GO OUTSIDE. Just go outside. Just go outside. Just chill. Just chill. Ladies and calm [ __ ] down and get your phone. Don't put YOUR [laughter] HAND. Don't put your HANDS ON ME. [ __ ] wrong with you. me. >> If you were an officer, what did you do first to stop this raging storm? Comment below. At that moment, officers first prioritized protecting the store and escorted those who were losing control outside. Everybody, let's go. Everybody, let's go. >> Everybody, >> all y'all, let's go. >> They don't care. >> They don't care for pay. Just go. They don't care. Just go take the food with you. >> No, I have not given up for the food. >> Yeah, we not out. It seemed that every customer wanted to finish their own meal, making it difficult to clear the scene, forcing officers to make a temporary decision for the store. >> Waffle House is closed. >> Waffle House is closed now. Let's go. >> Let's go. >> Let's go. Get a step. Get a step. >> Yeah. You're about to go too. You got people coming out. You only get them one way to react. Get in the car. Get in. Let's go. >> Hey, whoever this car who's driving this car. >> This what? >> Anywhere. >> Anywhere. >> Anywhere. >> Is this your car? What's going on? >> Whose car? >> At that point, the customers were escorted outside, but instead of helping officers resolve the situation, they only worried about their food. >> You say your food's already done? >> Yes. >> Where Where's the food? It was sitting inside. Why would you grab it when you came out? >> Because they wouldn't allow us. Y'all told us to stay for the [laughter] [ __ ] that came in. 805 hotel 858. >> What we're not going to do is keep talking. >> No, man. Thank you. >> Man, come on. >> What we're not going to do? >> Okay. Go ahead in the car. Listen. Listen, y'all. Go ahead in the car. Let me ask you if they say no, that's what it is. I can't I can't force it. Y'all go ahead in the car. >> Anybody else? >> Y'all go ahead in the car. Go ahead in the car. >> Go ahead in the car >> cuz if not you going to start riding. Y'all grown, man. >> I got to tell y'all not to >> We grown. >> Besides the main suspect believed to have caused the chaos being arrested, several individuals who initially resisted officers were not spared either. It was a hard lesson for those who acted without thinking. Don't you think? I don't know. I don't know. I'm counting. This is Sanford. I just so happen to be in the area. >> Just so happen to be over there. She threw the coffee container and the silver pants walking around. >> No, she's still out there. Still out there. >> We need to go silver. She She threw the coffee whole coffee thing. >> Which one with the what? >> Silver pants right there. Right there. talking to a media. >> She need to go. >> Hey, young lady. You just got to go. Do it, big man. Go ahead and step back for a second. >> I'm not going to jail. I swear to God. I'm not going to jail. I'm not going to jail. Y'all got me fed up, bro. I'm not going to jail. You tripping. I don't care >> who else is involved in this right now. I'm not going to jail. I'm not going to jail. I'm going jail. I don't care, bro. Y'all, I swear to God on my baby head. Y'all want to come with it cuz I'm not going to jail on me. I'm like, you tripping, bro. No, I'm not going to jail. I don't >> be a great witness. >> Oh, my head. Okay. I know. That's why I should back up. >> Three individuals were taken into custody and charged with resisting with violence and disorderly conduct. Resisting officers or escalating chaos only turns a bad situation into criminal charges. Keeping calm and cooperating can be the difference between walking away and leaving in handcuffs. What did I tell you? >> On September 5th, 2025, police were dispatched to Dick's sporting goods after receiving a report that a theft had occurred. As officers approached, the suspects moved out into the parking lot and firmly insisted that the accusation was false. >> Can you uh try to say I was stealing, but I wasn't stealing. >> Okay. I saw both you guys rolling out of the uh the store >> cuz I was standing with my son. I was playing. He said something to me. He said you were stealing out here. He sent the police on the way. I said what I steal. >> Okay. You got IDs on you and then you got receipts for the stuff you purchased. >> What you mean? I don't got no ID on you. >> You don't have an ID on you? >> No. >> Okay. You don't have anything on you? Nothing. Driver's license, nothing like that. >> Okay. Ma'am, you got an ID on you? >> Yeah. What do you want? >> Well, one, you're not wearing a seat belt, so I need your ID. >> Yeah. So, >> all right. We can make this one of two ways here. Okay. So, you guys can cooperate with me. >> I'll cooperate. I'm >> You don't have You don't have any any identification on you. If observed closely, the driver even started the vehicle and pulled away from their parking spot in an attempt to leave. And this action only made the police grow even more suspicious. >> You got nothing on you. What's your first name? >> Be out there back here making faces. >> No. What? >> I see a puppy back there. I see a dog back there jumping around real quick. >> No, you see my damn thing. >> Oh, okay. You know this guy, >> huh? >> You know this guy walking up? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Let me see. All right. You guys You got receipts for me? >> No, I don't have no receipts. >> You got nothing. There's no merchandise in this car. >> You going to let me go? I'll be honest. >> Come be honest with me. >> I I got merchandise. Can you please let me go? I got my baby in me. I do got some merchandise. >> I bought some stuff in there, though. >> Okay. >> I had brought the outfit in there and I had took an outfit in the bag. >> Okay. Can I see those, please? Where they at? He's doing something. I got to make sure. >> We don't know whether the black and white one was mine. >> Okay. So, this is You did not take this bag, right? You took the bag inside. >> He Yeah, he trying to say I took the bag, but I didn't take the bag. >> You I'm good if I look in here. >> Yeah, go ahead. >> I'm going put it right on. >> But I told you it's off in there. One is mine. >> The woman admitted that there was merchandise in her vehicle, but her attitude showed no trace of remorse. On the other hand, store employees firmly confirmed the wrongdoing with clear evidence. >> How's it going? >> Did they take anything or? >> Yeah. Yeah. Okay. >> Yeah. So, that black that big black bag she has that is full of stuff. >> It's full of stuff. >> Yeah. She did not walk in with that bag. That's why we when we verified that she didn't have the bag, that's when we >> Do you guys know what all she took with that or? >> We We didn't see her actually concealed. We just saw her with the bag full of merchandise. We checked camera to see if she walked in with it. It's She didn't walk in with it. So she know we know she got it here. >> Okay. Yeah. >> So that guy from that red hat, he's walking towards over there. >> Okay. >> He was in here carrying around a bunch of shoes. He were watching him too. The guy >> Did he take anything or >> We don't think he took anything. He gave us back everything back. >> There's two of them, right? Two black females. >> There there's two black females. Yeah. >> There's one like a jacket and then that one. So a black bag did it. Is it a Nike or anything like that? >> It's cool. Yeah. It's It won't be branded or anything. It's like quilted almost. like has that pattern and it has stuff inside. You saw them put stuff inside? >> Yes, we saw them put stuff inside it. We just don't know exactly what it was. I know it's most likely Nike. >> Yeah. >> And that bag was stolen as well. >> The bag was stolen as well. Yeah. >> I'll be right back. >> All that stolen bag and everything inside it. >> Yep. >> That bag is not ded. >> She did not come into the store with the bag. So, the woman knew she had been caught red-handed, yet she showed no shame over it at all. At that point, each stolen item was already being confirmed by the police. >> I'll run you. It's going to be probably these are all like 80 bucks. So, we're probably close to selling them on anyway. This is 80 as well. Bring tag on the bag. There was something right here. This is still back in. >> Yeah, it's they said that was fine. She didn't come in with it. >> I'm just going to throw it in back in here. Actually, >> do they want it back? >> I ask. I I was hoping that yes, a receipt or something, but I don't think they will. Did you have the merchandise? So, >> and whatever the bag is. Yeah. Back at the suspects, the man believed to be connected to them deliberately escalated the tension as events unfolded, forcing officers to issue repeated warnings. >> Stay back there. >> Stay back there. >> You going to dor me? >> No, you won't. You'll get off the scene. Go back. Go back there or go to jail then. Either way, it's fine with me. >> You're just getting too close, man. It's all right. It's I understand. You're just getting too close to what we're doing here. >> That's my brother. >> I know, but I need him to stay back. >> Just step over there so they can back. >> I know. I know. It's fine. We're not saying you did anything. I just need you to stay back. >> Need you to stay off the scene. >> All I need you stay >> I know. I understand. I I wouldn't let you anybody walk up here. >> I wouldn't let anybody walk up here. >> I'm here, man. Y'all tripping. >> In contrast to the man's frustration, the woman appeared unfazed, acting as if nothing was serious and even believing she could simply walk away. >> You don't have any physical. Do you have any like you got a >> bro? I just told you I'm warning for y'all and I'm telling the truth. >> I'm I believe you. It just we're not getting anything back. You got you got a credit card or anything? >> I just got to confirm it's you. >> You going to let me go? >> It depends. It depends on what the war is. >> Hey, we got PC. Let's just do it. >> Okay. >> What you say? >> Come on out for me. >> I better get in my car. You're >> good. You come on out anyway. Who? Who? The sergeant right there. Right. So, >> put the [ __ ] out for me. Turn around for me. Man, I ain't even lie about my name >> and my birthday and told you the truth to get handcuffed is crazy. >> My baby crying. >> You got anything on you, man? >> What you talking about? And I just say damn >> my birthday in the >> big I appreciate you being cooperative with me. >> When she was placed in handcuffs, she tried to use her child as a plea for sympathy, but it did not work. And based on her behavior, officers suspected this was far from the first time she had done this. >> So the stuff your stuff you took is over $400. That's a felony. Okay. I don't know who it is over here. >> So, you've done this before, right? >> Yeah, I'm being honest with you, though. I can get a citation. >> I understand that. And I I appreciate you being honest with me. You understand the severity of this, but I got a couple more things. You saw me turn my lights on. I saw you run out. You didn't stop >> because I was trying to park and my baby and I and I was trying to figure I was trying to figure out to call somebody for my baby cuz I knew I had these wounds. >> I wasn't going to run. If I was going to run, I would have just sped off. I wasn't running. >> Okay. So when when are the walls from you know >> Glen Corbett is they is Glen Corbett in Fairview Heights >> in February heights. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. These two out here in Illinois. >> You got any other tattoos? >> Where? >> So I'm trying to confirm this is you >> Yeah, they on my arm. >> Okay. Nothing else on your You got the one that >> Yeah, there's one right here. It just said my baby name. >> Okay. Immediately after the female driver was taken into custody, the woman in the passenger seat was quickly approached and faced a similar fate. And she clearly did not take it well either. >> You hear me? >> By the car. >> What am I stepping off? Please I don't have the car. >> Step out of the car. >> Okay. Get out of the car. Get out of the car. Hey, man. You hear what we're saying to you? >> I'm going to go ahead and sue us. >> I am. I just snatched me out the car like that. as you get out of the car. >> Ask you twice. Get out of the car. You're telling me no. >> Your hand. >> I'm not arguing. >> Let go with this. >> I'm not arguing with you. Telling you to get out of the car. >> Pick my [ __ ] up. >> Whoa. Hey. >> You got anything on you? >> Pick my up. >> This is mine. This I I have nothing in my bag. I did. You see me go in there and grab anything? Touch anything? No, you do not. I have nothing. >> Exactly. I'm still in the watch. Oh, me. Watch. I I ain't got to say nothing. Watch. >> Are you blowing up too much? >> Please turn around. >> Just make it easier on yourself, please. >> No, cuz y'all doing too much. >> We are not doing anything. >> Oh my god. Y'all y'all straight doing too much. deployed. >> At this point, the man who witnessed everything became extremely agitated and the situation spiraled into chaos as he completely refused to cooperate. >> Y'all do anything up to you, bud. >> I ain't coming up on [ __ ] >> Turn around. Do it. Do it. Taser. Taser. Taser. What did I TELL YOU? HUH? WHAT DID I TELL YOU? YOU TALKED YOUR WAY INTO THAT, didn't you? >> Okay, there we go. >> Talk your way into that, bud. Come out here and just mouth on to us. We're going to find out who you are >> real quick. Real quick. >> Yeah, go ahead. We're going to find out real quick. What does that mean? >> What does that mean? Huh? I don't think he expected that one. Hell yeah. I've had enough of it. Been mounting off to us. >> You came up trying to pick a fight with us. Dude, why >> do [ __ ] >> Why? >> That ain't do [ __ ] That ain't do [ __ ] >> I ain't do [ __ ] But knock me down. I mean, you would do it. >> No, I did. I pulled Didn't I pull a drink or some [ __ ] >> right? >> Yeah. All right, let's get this bag off. I've had enough. I've had enough. Mining off for the day. I roll this way. I'm rolling. >> In the end, the woman was charged with felony retail theft, while the man was charged with obstructing an investigation. Arrogance and refusal to cooperate only made the consequences worse. Proving that attempting to intimidate police or deny clear evidence never led to a better outcome. Next, the reckless couple ran to escape, but only to cry. >> I want to be [laughter] about myself. Please don't shoot me. >> Get on the ground. >> Get on your stomach. >> Oh, I got a heart. >> Get on your stomach. >> On February 8th in Ohio, police received a report of a theft that had occurred. The suspects were believed to have fled the scene and upon arriving immediately, officers attempted to track down the suspects based on the information provided. >> They went over the railroad tracks. Yeah, they're in the further that way. Okay. We're headed south to this line. That's where we're headed now. Female got a red shirt, right? The suspects fled into the woods believed to be a vast and difficult area to search. But they forgot that with bright clothing, police quickly located one of the two. >> Stop. STOP. I'm chasing the female right now. I don't know where the male >> stop. Get on the ground. Where's the male? >> That way. >> I'm trying to get you guys. >> Hold on to this. All right. Am [crying] I going to jail? >> Why you laying film? >> I didn't run for you like that. I WAS TRYING TO help you guys. >> I thought that's all I was doing. >> You want to stand up? You want to stay sitting for a minute? >> I was standing down for a minute. >> All right. >> So, why were you running from Walmart? >> No, I was just with my boyfriend and and they stopped him or whatever. >> All right. And then he says, "Do you get away from us?" So that's what I want to do. >> At the same time, on the other side, police also [music] found the remaining suspect. He attempted to flee, but the attempt failed under police restraint, leaving him struggling to breathe. >> Get on the ground. Get on the ground. >> Get on the ground. >> Get on the ground. >> I got Please don't shoot me. >> Get on the ground. Get on your stomach. >> I got >> Get on your stomach. I got on your stomach. >> Get your hands out. >> On your stomach. I told you. On your stomach. >> Okay. Give me your arm. You hurt my back. There you go. >> Well, if you would listen to what Iing tell you, you wouldn't have had that problem, would you? Sir, >> I'm just trying to say I got heart problems. I can't breathe. Please. While the man also faced a theft charge and was taken into custody on an active warrant. Running from responsibility only escalated the consequences, turning a minor act into lasting legal trouble that could have been avoided by cooperation and accountability. In the next case, let's meet the shoplifter with her house cleaner crimes. >> It doesn't work that way. >> That's fine. You don't have to hear me. On April 30th, 2024, police received a call from Sam's Club reporting a woman who had taken multiple items and immediately left. Before pursuing the suspect, officers went to the store to investigate the situation. >> We know what was taken in a vacuum. Yeah, the vacuum cleaner electronics a bunch of stuff. Based on the information provided by the store about 30 minutes later, police immediately located the suspect's vehicle. Let's see what happened next. >> Hey, how's it going? >> Pretty good. I got my CSO coming. I don't know how much stuff they have. >> Vacuums in there. >> Six vacuums. >> Yeah. >> Okay. They said there was a lot of electronics, but she pushing the car out the door. Females in the back. of your your car. >> Yeah, female was in the back. >> Uh mail was good cuz they said the male was in the car and it was just her. I also the she was just the one with the car pushing it out there. So I probably let cut him loose with the vehicle. But I got my CSO coming up to grab all that stuff. I have some pictures of this and I think he hasn't expired yet. This one might be too male again, is it? So after officers identified the vacuum boxes in the vehicle, she was taken into custody. At this point, police tried to gather information about her, but it wasn't easy. >> I don't have it with me. >> You don't have it with you? >> No, I don't have Put your feet in there. >> You have insurance with the vehicle? >> As far as I know, there should be insurance in there. Go ahead and make your face. >> It wasn't in his life in his wallet. >> I'm saying >> this man was deemed completely innocent in the incident and was confirmed to have only been sitting in the car while she fled. However, it seemed the woman didn't want to face it alone. So, she tried to pin the crime on him. >> He knew where I was going. So, >> was he in the car or was he in the store? >> He's in the car. >> Okay. Well, he didn't do the retail check whether he knew or not. Huh. >> It doesn't work that way. >> I can't hear you. >> That's fine. You don't have to hear him. on my phone, please. H you want me on my phone, please? Yeah, I was going to get all your guys. You guys got business cards? >> I know it was easier. >> At this point, police proceeded to recover the items the woman had taken. Those expensive items, making it clear that the value of the loss was significant. >> Truck. >> Yeah, they're not going to fit in the cab. >> Need pictures of this or >> Yeah, I'm going to take a picture. I took a few sitting in here and then I'll get someone to put in the truck bed here. hide out mess >> or is this going back or just going to Sam? >> Yeah, it's going to Sam cuz I'm going to need a price for it all. to die soon.
