How can you touch me? I come and love to touch. You cannot without permission. You cannot. >> This is the value protecting millions of people. This is the value you do. Sh. >> Oh my. Oh my god. Do anything. >> Stop. >> Please don't put me in handcuffs. Okay. Don't put me in handcuffs. Don't put me in handcuffs. Don't put me in. >> Okay. Don't put me in handcuffs. I >> I will put you in handcuffs cuz you're not listening. You're walking away from me. Ma'am, ma'am. >> You're hurting me. I'm taking it. I'm hurting you. I'm pregnant. You're hurting me. >> Some shoplifterss think they can take whatever they want without consequences. That overconfidence often leads them to bold attempts like trying to steal an entire cart only to find that reality hits much harder than they expected. Here are the moments when shoplifterss thought they could steal a full cart. Make sure to like and subscribe to support us. Start with this woman claiming this right. Stole and showed no remorse. >> How are you? I'm not I'm not talking. >> Okay, wait. Wait. You got to talk to me. You got to listen. Shut up. >> On August 30th, 2025, police received a call from Walmart reporting a shoplifting incident. Worse, the woman even attacked an employee before fleeing. When officers arrived, they trailed her into the parking lot where she fought back with violent resistance. >> Hello, ma'am. How are you? I'm not a I'm not talking. >> Okay. Wait, wait. You got to talk to me. You got to talk. Shut up. How can you touch me? I I'm allowed to touch. You cannot without permission. You cannot you. The woman clearly showed her sense of having rights, and her violent resistance made the police try very hard to handcuff her. >> You got a cop over here? >> Yeah. >> Put a cup on. What's their location? >> Security stating the back wall and that Alpha 3 is currently physically fighting with that individual. Got one on. All right. Just be advised that we have Sergeant Maywood out there. Alpha 3. Steve. >> It was clear that the woman didn't realize her actions were wrong as she even wondered why this was happening. Not enough. >> Get in here. We're on circad He tore my head so badly. >> Take this off. >> Keep your arm here. Stop. >> Stop resisting. >> Okay. >> She's been trespassed before, so we'll Okay. You know, you >> Yeah, I do. You guys have information on her or no? >> Shut up. >> Shut up. >> Shut up. >> Inside the patrol car, the woman's rage erupted in a flood of cursing, likely because this shoplifter didn't want to be treated like a criminal. Won't cancel. >> I hate you. Oh, mother. Sorry. 48 years. coming up. >> At this point, the officers reassessed the situation and even the manager stated that this was not their first encounter with the woman. >> Don't know any of this. >> All I know is that they said they wanted her off. I went to approach her. >> She's been uh trespassing before. I've actually trespassed. >> And then she started swinging on me. So then we went down. >> All right. I guess resisting trespassing. Um, >> so she was on property and then you were >> Yeah, we were She was in the bathroom doing her. >> She's been trespassed multiple times. She's in the bathroom stuffing toilet paper and everything she can stuff it in. We told her to leave. She left. She came back. She left. She came back. She was just pouring bottles of water in there. I asked her to leave again. Started yelling and screaming at me. And that's when you pulled up and then00. >> All right, cool. Thank you. >> The woman was taken in for questioning, but the officer's struggle continued as escorting her to the room proved equally challenging. >> One foot, the other foot. Get out of the car. >> No one thought you were fighting >> so much with the >> serious. Let's have an honest conversation. If we're going to have this problem the whole >> stand up, >> do not. In the end, the woman was charged with theft, criminal trespassing, resisting arrest, and battery on an officer. Always recognized the consequences of defying the law. Resisting officers only escalates trouble and ensures harsher charges. Even more cunning, this serial shoplifter carried out her acts far from home. >> You're not free to leave because I believe you have stolen all this stuff. >> No, I did not take this. This right here, the dress. >> Who is this? >> Um, that's my friend. My two dad. >> Hm. That's not show. >> On July 29th, 2023, police responded to a reported shoplifting. The suspect, an older woman, had loaded nearly $940 worth of merchandise into a shopping cart. When approached, she tried to leave without a receipt. >> Hello, ma'am. >> Yeah, I'm offering police department. Just being an RV recorded. Do you have a receipt for all this? >> Um, that's my phone. Bye. >> Okay. Can I see it? >> My phone is going out. >> Okay. Why? So, they just watch you walk out past all points of sale without a receipt. So, >> oh no, nobody who >> can we go back and figure it out then? >> My Uber is coming, sir. >> Okay. Well, then uh I'm going to have no choice. You're being detained at this point. You're not free to leave because I believe you to have stolen all this stuff. >> No, I did not take this this right here, the dress. >> Okay. Can we go back inside and figure it out then? >> That's what she's saying. >> No. Can we go back inside and figure it out or were you >> Well, listen, sir. My Uber is coming. So, >> no, you're not going then. Why >> 14? >> Okay, let's figure it out. >> Okay, let's go. >> I'm I'm going to be late for my order. >> Can you show me on another contact at the front wire? >> Well, then you'll just have to call a new one. Let's go. >> No, I don't because my my insurance is not caught. My insurance is not covered. >> Okay. So, this is what's going to happen right now. Either we go figure this out or I'm going you're being detained for this. We're going to figure it out and then if you've stolen this stuff, then I will arrest you for it. or we can go inside and solve this issue and then we don't have to go down that route. It's your It's your call. >> I was I was standing right here when you walked out. So, let's go back inside and just try to figure it out. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> After repeatedly making excuses and trying to leave, failing each time, the woman grew anxious about the consequences and admitted to taking some of the items. >> Can I go to jail? >> You We're going to see. >> Well, I didn't pay for it on this. >> Okay. Well, we're going to see what they want to do. >> Okay. >> This is an employee here. Uh, one other employee watched you walk out. That's how I know that none of this stuff is paid for. Okay. >> Yeah. >> All right. So, it's up to him if he would like to provide you the opportunity. Do you have the money to pay for this? >> Not all. >> Not all of it. Okay. So, here's what's happening right now. You can sit there if it's a little bit better. So, I appreciate your honesty. Honesty goes a long way with me. Okay. So, I appreciate you being honest. Um, did you not see me sitting here? Okay. Okay. So, they want to press charges for the the Okay. So, I'm not going to take you to jail. All right. >> But, >> so, um, when you press charges, what happens? Well, you're going to get So, I'm not going to issue you a site today because then I'd have to book you and release you. Okay? So, like I said, I appreciate the honesty. Honesty goes a long way with me. If you keep that up, then this will be a much quicker process. Okay? There's two options that we have. Okay? So, right now, you are under arrest though, okay? Just you're aware of that. >> Then, officers searched her purse. Inside, they discovered even more suspicious items that appeared to be stolen. And when confronted, let's see how she reacted to all of this. Is there anything else in here that doesn't belong to you? No. >> Are you sure? >> Where'd you get these? >> I got those at Target. My daughter did. >> Do you guys sell these? >> Yeah. >> That's my daughter. I use some. >> Okay. >> So, you don't have a ID or driver's license on you? >> Yeah. Where? Right here. >> Oh, on the front. No, it's not. >> Yeah, I got it. >> No, it's not. That's my >> That's my friend. >> Okay. Oh, >> stop. Stop. Stop. Sit down. >> It's right here. >> Stop. >> Who is this? >> Um, that's my friend. My sugar daddy. >> H. >> That's my sugar daddy. That's my That's my grandmother. >> Okay. Well, I'm gonna call him. All right. So, it's not in here. >> I might as well be arrested. >> You're not. Just hold on. >> Okay. So, right after taking her into custody, officers spoke with the store manager and delivered the final verdict for this serial shoplifter. >> Working on scanning all that stuff. There's quite a bit in those. >> I know. I'm just assuming threeear trespass on this as well. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Okay. And just so you're aware, you've been trespassing this Fred Meyers for 3 years. If you come back, you're subject to arrest. Today's date is the 29th of July uh the 2023. So if you return by July 29th of or 2026, you are subject to arrest. >> Yeah. I'll just take the uh the itemized sheet once you get it. And then um uh can you pull video? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Cuz I'll um and then I'll get you a case number and a card. Uh have you done the Axon up link or do you normally email it? >> Okay. >> Yep. So, I'll give I'll give you an email so you can send me the link. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. This guy got >> Yeah, I know. I got her ID. So, she had another ID in her purse that for a male. She says it's like her boyfriend. She call him her sugar daddy. Uh and uh so I don't know. I got to figure out if she can have that or not have that or whatever. >> Did this happen while you were here for the other time? >> Dude, she walked out with my car right there. Like I'm just going to start parking like like in front of the doors. After everything, the police changed their decision about her arrest, but you know, this wasn't her first time. What do you think about that? Leave us a comment below. >> Okay, so here's what I got. Um, where So, your do address is out of Yakama. I know you don't live in Yakama. So, where where you live now? >> I live in Shoreline. >> You live in Shoreline? >> Yes. On North. >> Okay. How'd you get here? >> Through Uber. >> How? >> Uber. >> You Ubered here? >> Yeah, through my insurance. through your insurance. >> I have night care. That's not >> Yeah. Okay. So, why did you come here? >> Because um it's nice out here. >> Okay. So, just due to the amount um a little bit of game change. I know. Um >> I'm going to get arrested. >> Hold on. It's going to be what's called a book and release. So, you're going to get driven to the jail. You're going to get processed. Okay. And then you're going to be released directly from the jail. Okay. With all your property. Um, but you you did take almost $1,000 worth of merchandise. >> Oh. >> All right. >> Wow. >> So, just due to the the volume. All right. Uh, that's what we're going to do. All right. That was a lot. That was a lot of items. All right. So, I'm going to have to have you go ahead and take a step out for me. So, she needs to walk her to walk. >> In the end, she was charged with felony shoplifting. Admitting the truth didn't erase the crime, but it kept the situation from getting worse. Once you've crossed the line, honesty is the only thing left to hold on to. Next, the kind-hearted mother bought toys for her daughter, but in a guilty way. >> Where's the receipt? >> It was in the bag, dude. >> Sit down. Calm down. >> People killing each other here in Naples. Don't worry about me going to another park. >> On January 15th, 2023, police were dispatched to a shopping mall after receiving reports of a woman and her daughter engaging in suspicious shopping. At that moment, the woman stepped outside, unaware that police were waiting for her. >> Already >> Oh my Oh my god. Do anything. >> My car. Then look for my receipt. I dropped it. I've already been to this aisle. I see. I'm here all the time. >> Okay. Where's your receipt? >> I don't I dropped it then. I didn't steal anything. >> So, you weren't bagging the stuff up in the toy section? >> No. >> Then what? I guess I guess I was imagining things. >> Yeah, you were. I was not. >> All right, just hang tight. So, why don't you why don't we go into the security office and >> put my daughter in the car then? >> Huh? >> No, no, no, no, no, no. >> Okay, we're all going to go to the security office right now. We're review the footage. >> My kid. >> Okay, stop. The woman denied everything and refused to cooperate with the police, using her family as an excuse to try to get away. But that only led her into a situation no one would want. >> Okay. Don't put me in. Don't put me in handcuffs. Don't put me in. >> Okay. Don't put me in handcuffs. I >> I will put you in handcuffs cuz you're not listening. You're walking away from me. >> I'm detaining you right now. >> I'll give you my I'll buy it again. I have my debit card. I will give you I bought that and I will give you a debit card. Please go a long >> We're going to the security office right now >> so we can review. >> It's okay, sweetie. While being escorted to the loss prevention office, the woman continued trying to change things, repeatedly pleading, >> can I at least pay for it again >> right now? No. >> Yeah. Why? >> I've already paid for it. I've already paid for it. >> Sir, I paid for it. >> Well, we'll see. >> Okay, but I've been in here twice today. Please let me pay for it again then. I have money. So, we're going to watch a video. >> Okay. And then what? >> And and then if you if you conceal stuff without paying for it, then you're probably going to go to jail. >> But I have the money for it. >> It doesn't matter. The crime is already committed. >> Can I just pay for whatever you think I >> It's too late. Oh my god. >> Stop. >> So mean. >> Even her family pleaded as if she understood it was wrong. When staff checked the cart, it became clear that all the items were toys. >> Not because I already bought this stuff. >> I bought the two things earlier. >> Forgive me. Don't be a lot. >> It's not a lot. I have the receipt. >> Okay, mommy. Sit down. >> I have the receipt. >> Where is the receipt? Where is it? >> It was in the bag, dude. >> Sit down. Calm down. >> Well, then if it's in the bag, then we'll find it. Sit down. Calm down. >> Sit down. >> I didn't steal anything. I didn't steal anything, dude. >> Who is this? >> My husband. >> My wife in here. >> He has a little receipt. Do you have the other receipt to show them, please? I >> What's going on? >> What's going on? >> Hi, Mommy. >> So, your wife, we believe that your wife has uh concealed items. >> Okay. >> I gave her calm down. >> She's being detained right now. We're going to review the video. Okay. >> Okay. Do you have a receipt for the item? >> Okay. This very receipt led police to uncover more suspicious activity. While her husband considered it a complete receipt, she insisted there was more. >> A bag for it. >> Here's a receipt that he has. >> There's another one. Is there a fire? >> Guys, I promise there's another receipt. That's a good deal. >> Blanket. >> I'm guessing this is your personal blanket. >> Yes, it is. And her stuff is in here. >> Where's her ID? >> I don't have it for my car. Did you leave her baby in her toys that she carries with her in her? >> Yes. We'll give them to you. Relax. Calm down. >> Sir, I already bought some other stuff. Okay. I swear I did. Here's my gift. Here's my gift. >> Calm down. Sit down. >> She was actually the one who understood the situation best. Yet she kept asking questions and even when given answers, she refused to accept them easily. >> Why are you guys arresting me? >> A squishallow. >> Why are you arresting me? >> for theft. >> A squish that I was going to pay for. >> All right. >> It's all right. It's all right. My mom's an attorney. Don't worry about it. Both your names. How was that? >> Because you can't walk out of the store with merch. >> I apologize. I was coming right back. I wasn't trying to >> They were trying to stop you and I said I pulled up in front of you. >> He tried to grab me. Nobody didn't grab me. I was going to my car. How are you going to arrest me for this? >> Because you passed all points of sale without paying for to get my card out of my car. >> Then you should arrest the cart. >> Then I think >> I shouldn't be arrested for this. I was getting my other money out of my car. >> Are you going to give me another charge? >> Yeah. People killing each other here in Naples and they worry about me going to get another car with plenty of money. They don't need to be freaking accused of theft. >> Items. >> Even at this point, she still treated the incident as if it were nothing. After investigating everything, police took action. >> Give my stuff to my husband. >> Yes. >> Okay, relax. >> No, I'm pissed off. I >> I understand. I am stealing. Stop yelling at me. >> More money. I have $186 on here. I went to the park. >> Come on, man. >> All right. All right. Before we go, hold up. >> Yes. >> Put it down. Give me your hand. >> All right. Tell him I love him. Call. >> Do you want him to have this? >> Yeah. It's got all the money on it. Baby, call all out. EMS is coming cuz I'm starting the detoxing off my suboxin. >> All right, turn around. Wind your stance. >> You don't need to kick me. >> I didn't kick you. >> Yeah, you did. >> The woman was charged with felony grand theft for concealing items in the store. She violated probation from a previous offense, which led to her serving 365 days in county jail. Her attempts to deny wrongdoing and manipulate others only worsened her situation. Honesty and cooperation with authorities are always the safer choice. But what happens when the employee is the shoplifter at her own store? >> I see an opportunity and I kind of use that just so I can put food on the table and a place to stay for my daughter. That doesn't give me the right to, you know, obviously I did what I did in this world. On June 10th, 2024, police were sent to Nordstrom after a report of stolen merchandise worth up to $3,000. Shockingly, the suspect was the store's own cashier. At the scene, it was clear this was a planned theft. >> Get anything out of it today or what? What's you say $2,500? Like, >> it was an accumulation of a whole bunch of incidents. So it started back in May 13th and she was basically bringing up merchandise and handing it off to the customer. So she was ringing up the items but then passing it off the transaction >> and then giving the merchandise still to the customer. So it resulted >> So she was passing merchandise. Yeah. >> So it resulted so many times. One time was like 500, another time was 1,300. Another time was 300. So it all accumulated up to 25. So she was not keeping the money. She was just giving the merchandise for free, >> right? But the merchandise was apparently for her. >> Okay. So that's probably somebody that she knew was coming. >> She said she had just met him. >> So all of them with one specific >> one specific individual. Yes. >> Um have you guys interviewed her? >> Yes. Where interview is process already done? >> Okay. >> Um it's on video. >> Yes. Everything's on recording. When approached, the suspect fully acknowledged her wrongdoing. She unashamedly confessed everything, her crimes, her motives, and even the amount she had caused. >> All right. You want to talk about what happened today? >> I did some things um that I take full responsibility for. >> Okay. >> Um >> what are those things? mother where um I seen an opportunity and I kind of used that just so I can put food on the table and a place to stay for my daughter. That doesn't give me the right to, you know, obviously I did what I did in this room. Um I did take merchandise and um pond it just so I can get a hotel and stuff like that. Uh, like I said, what I did is not saying that it's right because of my situation or anything. So, I do take full accountability for that. Um, I do and willing to pay back to $2,000 that I did $2,500. >> Yes. Um, I am willing to pay that back full price. Um, if I get the opportunity to, >> like I said, you know what I did was wrong. um to pull accountability for it. >> Police questioned her about her elaborate scheme, but doubts remained as to why she carried it out while having a job, knowing it could cost her everything. >> I did take the merchandise, hand it off, and so I can sell it. So, I sold the merchandise >> just have liquid uh pawn shops, >> just generic pawn shops or do you have a pawn shop that you normally go to or >> No, I think it was one on the east side that I was just driving around and I happened to see and I stopped there. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> Who who you were handing the merchandise to? >> Um this person that I've just met. Um I asked him if he can do it for me. Um >> like a friend of yours? >> No, I actually just met him. It was at the club. Somebody's always trying to get my number, whatever the case may be. And um I seen the opportunity to use him um so that I can do that. >> How many times did you do? >> I believe it was three, four, three or four times. >> Three or four times with the same guy? >> Um yes. >> When he was at the store, like did he purchase anything? >> Uh yes. Uh co >> he purchased what? >> Uh Coca-Cola. >> Oh, so he came in, purchased a Coca-Cola. >> I made him purchase a Coca-Cola and um basically suspended the transactions and then um let him walk out with the >> And what you were doing like you were basically he will bring the merchandise to you at the cash register. >> Did you count any of the merchandise? >> C as >> Yeah, like you you you have >> Oh, kept. No, I didn't. >> No. So everything >> except for the clothes for my daughter. >> Okay. So you did keep some of the clothes for your daughter, >> right? >> Um the ones that you sold that it was mentioned that uh the the store price is 24 about a little over $2,500. How much do you get at Pawn Shops? >> Um less than that. They don't never give me the full price. Um >> uh for example, uh a watch a fair watch was 700. I got uh four 400 from you. >> We got 400 for you. >> 400. Yeah. >> Do you have any idea how much money did you get on all the sales at the pawn shops? >> Um a lot of them, not everything I sold to the pawn shops. Some I just sold to people that I knew or um I just sold like basically if it wasn't pawn shops, just people that I knew or people that knew that I knew people that knew people, right? Um, altogether I would say out of everything probably wasn't even a little bit more than half. I didn't get I didn't really get too too much from anything. Um, >> surveillance footage revealed the presence of another man. This immediately raised questions from the police. So, what do you think of her answer? Leave your comments for us. >> So, who's this person? >> Like, this is someone I don't know. You have his information? >> No, I don't. >> You You've dealt with him over multiple occasions. >> You have his phone number? >> No, not I. I have um >> How did you communicate with this person? >> Email. >> Email. You said you got his number at a club and now you send an email. >> No, no, no. I've never got his number. He wanted my number. That's how I got in contact with him. >> Okay. >> So, from there. >> So, what was his cut? >> Nothing. So your age >> because he liked me I that's why I said I use that it was a good idea that because he liked it. >> Okay. >> So when we when if I if I ran your record you would never been arrested for anything related to this? Have you ever got caught for shoplifting before? Anything like that? >> Never I had one miscondina before. It was a better charge. >> Okay. The female suspect even knew that her plan had flaws and needed adjustments, which had actually made store management's job much more difficult. >> Pretty simple. There was one transaction that took a little bit of for us harder for us to find because she started to get wise. By the fourth time, she only run them up for the Coke, but everything else was kind of >> So, everything that you documented today was at minimum what you could what she did scan. >> Yes. >> There's no estimated things. I just want to know >> through the conversation, we were unable to find out that she suspended one of the transactions. We went back cuz I had another partner with me online who went back found that transaction so I can coincide. So the the the four transactions I'm going to give you are the total amount that we can prove as a no loss which is 2549 something. >> Okay. But the ones that aren't exact. Did you even document those? >> No, they're all exact. You have registered transactions of everything. >> Okay. So it was just that one transaction but it's going to be a company. So you're going to see $5. >> So it's like it's like a void item receipt type of deal. >> Yeah. You'll see it just says a Coke for 318, but then I have attached the suspended transaction to it. So that's basically for like ringing it up. >> So everything was at some point scanned. >> Got it. Thank god. >> Not too clever. >> Um, and do you guys have uh OPD witness statements that you could fill out for us or >> I do not. >> I I can get back for you. >> Returning to the suspect, police reiterated that this was not a minor incident. Yet even knowing the gravity of her crime, she remained completely calm. >> Do you realize like what you did was not good, right? Do you understand that? Like there's a difference between petty theft and grand theft, >> right? So grand theft is,000. It >> it's 700. So that's a felony crime. All right. Um for this being your first time, it's a pretty sophisticated operation that you just were a part of. It's not like you stole candy from the store, right? You're an adult. >> I'm more concerned that like you're telling the half h half truth because it's a natural thing to do, right? you want to like downplay what you did. >> That's fine. I I spilled everything. >> But you didn't spill everything because you're being a little um you're protective of this person you're dealing with. >> Honestly, no. >> You don't have any information as to >> the email. >> What's it? And you don't know his name. >> I find that very hard. >> Terren. Yeah. Terrence Wilson. >> Terren Wilson. All right. And he's not in any shape or form leading you to do anything else? >> No, definitely not. Like I said, this was my main thing was for me and my daughter. >> Why? Because >> does he have any relation to your daughter or anything like that? >> No, not at all. It's just that um like I said, he was somebody who wanted my number and um nowadays >> people would do anything for funerals and >> they don't even have to get anything from it. >> So, um not even a piece of merchandise I gave him because it was my my thing. I wanted to get that. full responsibility. He didn't take any money or Well, obviously he he is an accomplice to the crime. You understand that, right? So, he's not completely >> She was taken away immediately afterward and charged with felony grand theft. Even when carefully planned, stealing from your own workplace only brings consequences and laws. Short-term gain is never worth breaking the law. In the next case, this guy even consumed the items right at the place he stole them. >> I'm want to tell you something, son. If you don't want to go through something like this, don't bring your ass in here. Now, you know how many people I deal with that's intoxicated all the time and tell me, "Oh, I'm under control." But >> I understand that. I know. >> On January 31st, 2025, police received a call from Walmart about a man who had stolen items from the shelves and hid in the restroom to consume them. Upon arrival, officers quickly noticed that he was clearly affected by alcohol. >> Hello, dude. What's your name and date of birth? 75. >> Write his uh get his information, please. >> How much alcohol you had to drink on? >> Don't lie to me, dude. Listen, don't don't lie to me. I honest >> What's What's not much? Possibly going to be going to jail today. >> Are you serious? >> Yeah, I'm serious. >> Okay. I don't I hadn't decided yet, but I mean >> I'll be >> y'all told me the police wasn't going to be involved. >> Dr. Understand that I made a mistake and I'm sorry. I'm sorry. >> Okay. Well, everybody makes mistakes. I'm not saying >> I understand that, but I already been through this [ __ ] So, let me [ __ ] talk about this. >> So, you have you been trespassed from Walmart before? >> No, I have never. >> No Walmart. >> My first No Walmart. This is my first time doing this [ __ ] at all. >> The police asked this because they believed he had a prior criminal record and shortly after he admitted the truth, which coincidentally also involved alcohol. >> So, so, so why are you coming into the store >> and drinking beer? I mean, alcohol. What's going on? >> I don't know. I have >> Do you need some help? >> I mean, what's going on? Sanchez. >> Leave your phone. Turn around. >> Put your phone down. >> Nothing else on you. >> I've been I' been so >> What you been to jail for? >> Had 19. How many times you done been to jail? >> I just been once for DWI County. He kept trying to run up on me. >> Although she was told not to take anything else, she thought that since she had returned everything, she didn't deserve to be treated this way. >> You You have to understand, we stepped out. >> Okay, babe. You ain't got to tell him nothing. >> You immediately said I was stealing. >> I know, but I Okay, but I gave it back to him. You feel me? >> How do we know that? >> I swear he took it. I It was in But soap powder. So, we should just let you go after you commit a crime. >> I didn't do nothing. I don't want I just want to go. >> Take your word that you undid the crime. >> Yeah, I listen. That's not how it works. >> Can I tell y'all this? I had soap powder. He called me with the soap powder. I gave it back to him >> and I left the store. That's I ain't ain't nothing else. Ain't nothing ain't nothing else in that place. I ain't got to lie. Ain't nothing ain't nothing else. >> Go get my mom. Go back to where I am cuz I ain't I ain't going to jail. I didn't do nothing. Like I ain't do [ __ ] Like damn. The way y'all was grabbing me, I'm trying to tell you like you feel I understand what y'all told you under arrest. You do not pull away. >> I didn't but the way y'all grabbed me. I'm like >> you were pulling away. >> I'm sorry. I apologize. >> Yes. For future reference, if you are told you're under arrest, stop. >> But the investigation revealed that the woman's wrongdoing didn't stop there. Her vehicle registration had expired. This made her increasingly fearful of the consequences and finally realize her guilt. >> No. Well, if it leaves the car to >> I'm sorry. >> No, I'm serious. Can I have my >> Yes. Can you hold on just one moment? >> I'm confused on what you're saying. He said the tax card, but I'm ask >> are expired. >> You guys need to go get license for this. >> He It's only been expired for a week of >> It doesn't matter with the temp tag the day. >> One day expired. >> Okay. I know y I did some dumb, but we ain't got to be like, you feel me? We ain't got to be like that. >> You guys can't drive that vehicle. How come I'm going to get the licensed drivers whose vehicle it is? >> You can't drive. >> Yeah. Bring the owner here so I can give him a ticket for letting her drive without a license. >> I'm sorry, ma'am. Just one second. I'll have >> Let's get her in the car. >> Why do I got to get in the car? I'm going to jail. >> Okay. >> You're under arrest at this point. Let me figure out if they want to press charge or not. >> And she's got one. >> Although she felt remorse, her actions only made things harder for the police. And her pleas for sympathy were attempts to change the outcome. >> The cruiser. >> Can you face the cruiser? >> No, I do got a daughter. I know what's wrong with that. I'm not trying to give y'all no, you know, >> so far you've been very uncooperative. Can you face the cruiser >> because I ain't been in jail in a long time. >> That's That's why. >> Face the cruiser. Cooperate with us and we'll see what we're going to do. >> Thank you. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> Sorry, I was >> I don't like I I got a daughter and I listen I I know I don't want to go to jail. >> Cooperate with us. >> Yeah, I don't want to go to jail. >> Let's just take it one step at a time. They're figuring out what's going on. I just arrived on scene. Look, I just want to just if I get a ticket, like I just want to go home to my daughter. >> Listen, just be cooperative and we'll figure it out. Okay. >> All right. So, >> I know I know what I was I know I was wrong for that. I knew I was. >> Okay. Something means you got to pay consequences. >> Uh, I'm sure they have video in there, but no audio. >> I don't really want to. >> I'm going to read you this, Miss Walker. You're >> I want a video. Is that who you are? >> Well, I'm going to jail. >> Are you What did I do that? >> I'm going to read I'm going to read this to you. All right. >> And I got a daughter that's at home. >> Miss Walker. Miss Walker. >> Damn. >> You have the right to remain silent. Do you understand that? Right. >> What I'm getting arrested for >> at the very minimum. >> I will pay for it. I get past that thing in my pocket to go home on my daughter. I'm sorry. I don't want to ask. >> Okay. I'm going to read this to you because I'm going to ask some questions for you. Okay. We're going to have a conversation. Her pleas certainly didn't help her escape punishment. They only made everything more complicated. >> I got a daughter. I did not want you. >> So the >> Hey, please. I would do anything. >> Miss Walker, then let's get through this. >> I can get a ticket, please. I can't do my dog food. What was I thinking? I just wanted to wash my clothes and knew I had money. Like, >> can we get through this or not? >> Please, can I get a chance? >> Can you answer his question? Will you stop with the the fake crimes? >> I'm not because I ain't been to jail in a long time. I want to go. >> Let him read you this and you want to go home and all this crap, but you're not letting us do what we have to do. >> Okay. >> Having these all these rights in mind, do you wish to talk to me now? >> Oh, yeah. >> Okay. So, what happened today? >> Nothing. I don't know what I was thinking. I Something was already winning. I went in there and grabbed some ties. I some some soap powder. I didn't know he was going to see me. I ain't going to lie. I didn't know he was going to see me. And when he seen me, he said, "Can I have my ties back?" I said, "Yeah, you can have your ties back cuz I got money in me." And I that's when I walked out to I gave him my stuff and that's when I just he said, "Get out my store." And that was it. >> But when asked about threatening the employee, she insisted it was impossible, claiming she couldn't do such a thing. Yet, the statements from the employee told a very different story. >> Threaten them with a gun or say you had a gun or you already beat somebody. I ain't threaten you with nothing. I'm telling you the honest truth. I know I should never took no toss. I know I should have paid for he asked for him back and I gave them to him. I got a whole daughter that's waiting for me right now. I ain't about to threaten him with no damn. >> So why are you out here? If you got money, why you out here stealing time? >> Because I thought I was I should never been doing that. >> I ain't got no gun. I ain't about to do that. I ain't been in trouble in a long time. I know it was done for me even want to goddamn P them ties whatever they is. And I got money. >> I ain't about to do that. I ain't about to risk my life for trying to shoot a man for some damn and that's the truth. I'm mad as I even did that. Just want to go home to my daughter. >> Who was the other person you were with? >> That was my sister. I told her to go get my mom. >> Where's your mom stay at? >> She stay up with her own self press. >> Is that where daughter's at? Where's daughter at? >> With my auntie them today at the competition. >> Yeah. They just They're They're just saying that they told us that you threatened them with a gun. Not that you pulled one out. That you said you had one and you pulled out and put it to yourself. I ain't about to hell no. I see >> we we weren't here, right? >> Yeah. >> Okay. We just happened to be across the bank when it started to come in and I can see him waving his flag. So, we had no knowledge of any of that. >> But you know what I mean. >> I just want to go to my daughter and that's it. >> So, all right. Well, we got some things to figure out, okay? And then we'll let you know what's going to happen. Okay. >> The woman still tried to draw pity, but those tears were hers alone. Her statements only defended herself and did nothing to resolve the case. >> Okay. >> So, you know, the only other option to this if you don't want your child staying with your aunt, I'm going to take custody of your child and CSP is going to have to come. Correct. >> Why? Why? >> Because you are being arrested. >> Why? What is going to jail for? >> Why can't I get a ticket? >> Because I'm tired of people doing this and everyone's begging for a ticket. All these people that that steal and shoplift, they do this. They get they sometimes they don't get caught >> and then they do it again somewhere else. And then the times they get caught, then they give this side story about >> I'm not giving I'm not giving no side story, but I just don't understand. I really got to go sit in an economy for this. I know it was wrong. I ain't going to lie and say it wasn't wrong, but damn, it's better. It's better stuff than >> You're owning up because you got caught. >> I never got Listen, I'm not owning up to it. I'm only up to why would a man tell me to give him his stuff and then when I walk out the store he want to act like I I was about to him or do some weird stuff. >> I thought I could get away with it. So you're telling me >> But you asking me a question. I'm not going to lie to you >> because you got caught. I'm telling you if if you didn't get caught today. You're telling me I'm going to receive a call from you at your house saying, "Hey, I want to own up to to me stealing today." I would have got that call today. >> What you I'm not confused. >> If you didn't get caught right now, right? You made it home. You're telling me you're going to sit on your couch later. I feel bad. Why would I listen? >> That's what I'm saying. You're only owning up to because you got caught. >> But for real to send me to the county for this and I can understand if I hit the man, disrespect the man, call the man ho to listen to police. >> Cuz I didn't understand why y'all grabbed me like that. >> You literally said you knew that you were stealing. >> But I didn't I didn't know they was going to grab me the way they grabbed me. I didn't know they was about to do this to me. Not over no ties. I didn't know that. People get shot. I didn't know that. I was scared the way y'all grabbed me, y'all. Man, I didn't know that. >> Keep saying people get shot. But guess what? would happen to prevent us from having to do that and putting our lives in danger to get in that situation. Just don't break the law. >> The woman was arrested and charged with armed theft and threatening behavior at Family Dollar. Trying to manipulate sympathy and deny responsibility never works. Her attempts only complicated the investigation and ensured she faced consequences. It's a clear reminder that deceit and ignoring the law will catch up with
