Yes, that's what you squeeze it and it's a stress ball. Is that Hello, thank you very much. And I just wanted to say I just don't I didn't I'm embarrassed. I'm sorry. I've never stolen anything. >> car. And and I mean go right on ahead. Go right on ahead. Immediately after arresting the woman, officers confirmed all of the items she had taken. I have a hat and a stress ball. $34 for a hat? For a hat, bro? That is wild. For a hat, too. Yeah, that's what I >> that the lady tried to get it back from her and she called her a [ __ ] and left. I would say you probably paid $19.99 at least. Yeah. I mean I guess it's like custom. It's not really a thing. It kind of looks like it was like handmade. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Like it's like custom, but still $34? I don't think they're going to want it back. Her hair is greasy. >> [laughter] >> This is why you don't try on hats at places. I'm going to go out there. Thank you. At that moment, another officer arrived at the store to update staff on the situation and they also provided additional details about the charges the store wished to pursue against her. Hello. Hi, did you get my stuff? Yeah, um they're with her right now, so I'm not sure if they were able to get her things or not. She had a white bag with her? Yeah, they're out with her. She's detained right now. Okay. She said name 358. Y'all have going to paint trees property by any chance? It was red hats that were sitting over there that's missing. >> How many of them were there? I couldn't tell They were just sitting right here and she grabbed some. And did it just say dog on it? >> [music] >> No, not dogs. It was some different ones. They all different. She probably grabbed one of these, too. I couldn't see. I was in the back. I just saw from the mirror. And you don't know how many she grabbed? But I know she grabbed. Okay. Um >> [music] >> What are you looking to do? Do you want to press charges with them? Press charges? I have Press all the charges in the world. How do How do folks say it in the in the street? I need to press charges to the full extent of the law. >> [music] >> I've never seen her before in my life. I've never seen her before, so I'm Every day you call. I think it's your sergeant over there that files over there that file house in the day that he's [music] not there. And he didn't look like he had hands. Yeah, that's the west side. Although the female suspect admitted to her actions, officers continued gathering evidence that revealed calculated, deliberate behavior rather than the she claimed Okay. Oh, no, she put it back. Okay. Then she grabbed the the hats. >> Uh-huh. And you weren't able to tell how many, right? Did she pick something else up? It looked like she did. Yeah, she put some in the bag. I couldn't see. Yeah, I couldn't tell what else she had grabbed with her left hand. Did she grab a cup? Did she grab the lime? And the cap. Okay, there's like something white over there. Is it a baseballs, maybe? Yeah, I saw some balls. And then I didn't see it. That's when I was looking at the camera looking at the thing and I was like, "Come here, honey." >> And then those really don't matter, right? Cuz you have to actually pay for them for them to actually be valuable. Which one? Yeah. Well, she had on Okay. That You might want to wash that. It was on her head. Her hair is very, very greasy. [clears throat] Yeah, that is. Yeah. How much are the balls? Uh it's the label right there. Okay. $34 All right. Do you also want her to trespass from here? >> Yes. Okay, cool. And I want to see her on the mall over here. Yeah, banner. All right. You You can do up to 2 years for Yeah, they did 2 years. She was charged with shoplifting and obstruction of an officer. Actions done calmly can still carry serious consequences and losing control when confronted only makes the outcome worse. Next, she stole as if she had the right to do so. No, I'm not running. I'm not doing anything. I can get a citation. I will come to court. I cannot go to jail. On June 19th, 2023, police received a call from a local store reporting suspected theft involving two women. Upon arriving at the scene, both had fled outside but were intercepted by officers. Y'all So Okay, that's fine. I don't feel comfortable doing that. You know what I'm saying? You know what It's too much going on. Too many stories going on. Too many Okay, I got it. We'll make it real simple then. Go find out Go find out which which one of them it is. Which female they said it is and then that's the one we're going to deal with. We're going to let the other one go. So ask them which female it is. >> Okay. All right, which one was it? It was the one with the light green shirt with the denim shorts. She has the lighter brown purse. Copy that. Green Huh? Green shirt and the denim shorts? Yeah. Okay. I'm just trying to figure out why they're lying. Why is two different stories going on? Are y'all not going to talk to them at all? Yeah, we are. So what they saying? All right. I'm just asking. So they're saying she didn't have anything to do with it. She said that she I mean, at the end of the day, that's wrong though. Yeah. There's two different things going on. You said you were just honest and said You come right here and honestly What? No, I'm not I'm not Listen, you're you're you're Ma'am, you already came right here. >> No, no, I don't want I'm not running. I'm not doing anything. You don't have to do all this. Why does she have to go and cuff you? Come with us. Come with us. Both women denied the accusations and appeared confused by the officers' actions. On the way to the office, she continuously voiced her complaints. I'm not doing the most. I want for y'all to talk to them now. Yes, sir. Parker, I'm going to park the car real quick. I'll be right away with you, okay? Okay. All their personal stuff, all personal property goes away from them, please. You got to show them. >> Oh, really? You think a AK-47 can fit in here? >> it's still here. I'm being extra. Yeah, just that way we don't lose your stuff. You think a AK-47 can fit in here? So what you got? You guys You stay around for Go find out what they Do you have an ID on you? This is her first day, huh? No, I'm not going No ID? Okay. What's your name? Makayla. Makayla? Yeah. Yeah, but why do y'all need my ID? I thought y'all were asking what we doing. Asking what we did wrong. What happened? I'm going to ask a lot of questions here and like Um we don't have time for this. Dead ladies. I know, I'm just saying like y'all can leave and get No, I'm not trying to I'm really not trying to be argumentative. You know with the program, he's going to ask you some questions. He's going to do a bunch of stuff you might not get. We'll answer your questions, but you might not have time for it, but you're going to take the time. And you don't have a choice. What's your first name? Those were the repeated warnings from the officers in response to her continuous resistance. Shortly after, the police began questioning their personal information. Pay close attention to their attitudes. What's your first name? What's your first name? Makayla. And how do you spell that? S E S E U U? O I A O I A. And your last name? Bodley. Bodley? Mottley. Mottley. Okay, how do you spell that? M O T T L And what's your middle name? You need my middle name? What do you Can I I have to put you in the system. For what? Okay, cuz right now I have to identify you because you're being investigated for shoplifting, okay? So you're going to be documented in our in our thing. So what? Can I just ask you this question? Okay. Are y'all trying to arrest me? Y'all not charging Right now we're just investigating. Um I'm just asking. We're We're not there yet. I have to have to figure that out, okay? I just need to know so I cuz I don't reside here. You don't reside here? No, I don't reside here. >> Okay, where do you reside? I live in North Carolina. I don't live >> North Carolina? Okay. Do you have an emergency contact? Me? So we can call somebody just in case something bad happens. What's bad going to happen? I don't know. It could be a lot of things. Right. Are you Okay. What's your name? Erica. Erica? Mhm. How do you spell that? E R I C A Erica? Yeah. At this point, after reviewing the surveillance footage of the woman in the green shirt, each officer began to uncover exactly what she had done. So what we got here is the one in the green that was posted to you. Um they caught her on camera putting a dress inside a bag. Okay. Um a bag? What kind of her purse or her bag, whatever. And then they came to walk out. They They made past the front doors. Front doors? So they did walk out. Yes. I'm sorry. Excuse me. And they were talking to them, they denied it. The first she denied it. The one that was further away said that she had nothing She had nothing to do with it. The other one you could say she had nothing to do with it. Okay. And then finally like he's like, "No, look, we caught you. We saw you take it." And then finally, that's when the police dressed them and took them back in. Okay. The other one's not being detained right now. They're both until we can verify. Verify that she had nothing to do with it. You guys don't have video footage of the other person They're reviewing it right now. Okay, so they're still investigating. Oops, sorry. I'm going to continue getting their information here for the tree. Yeah, all the information, phone numbers, everything you can get. We'll get that and then whatever else you need. Okay. It didn't stop there. Shortly after, the officers discovered that the information she had previously provided was unreliable. We have no record on Either of these names are fake or We just gave it up. Or I said, "Pay it." When this all says she was happening, where were you guys? When we arrested her, we can search for an ID. Um like where you guys We never can identify her, but this person is possibly a fake name. Erica killed Dennis. Okay, so you guys were on the outside of the store. You didn't pay for the dress. I didn't hear you. Yeah. I'm sorry. They walked out of the store and they didn't pay for the dress. That's fine. So you were outside of the store. >> So unprofessional. Y'all Go ahead cuz we got to hear this. So let me talk. Let me talk. You were outside of the store. And the security guard came to you and you told the security guard He stopped you to maybe give back the dress. If you give it back, then we will not call the police. >> Right. Exactly. Exactly. And then what happened >> after And then we said we'll just pay for it. He said, "No." He said, "Um all right, come in." So we were like, "Okay, we'll just pay for it." I was like, "So are you I didn't say y'all were lying." And I'm like, "She doesn't know what's going on." You know what So I asked him. I was like, "So are we walking to the register to pay for the dress?" And he said, "Yes." Next thing you know, y'all are all outside. Y'all You know what I'm saying? I asked him. We're standing out there. And then they were We were standing out there trying to figure out what was going on. So I walked back in the store with them to go pay for the dress. And they started talking about going upstairs. And I'm like, And he actually took us to the register. Yeah, I'm asking why do we have to go upstairs if I'm going to pay for it. You get what I'm saying? What's upstairs that All right. All right, why can't I just pay for it right here? Okay. And then as soon as we went to the register, he talking about So I The dress is right there as you see. And I would leave. That's suggested? Yes. Okay. So in her own story, she inadvertently revealed that she had indeed taken the items without paying. Yet now she portrayed herself as the victim. The officers immediately clarified that her actions were wrong. I cannot You are You are more than old enough to understand that you cannot walk out of a store without having it paid for. Okay, yes, I understand that. Okay, so for me that is the end of the discussion. It is a crime. What was the point of doing all of this extra stuff? What extra stuff? We have to get your information. Y'all talking about y'all got to get Yeah, you talking about y'all Yes, because she from the get-go. You should have just said that. Stop. If you ask me a question, I'm going to answer it. Again, I told you I'm going to shut up and stop answering your questions if you keep over talking me. Okay? So we met you all in the parking lot. It's Stop. There's absolutely no way for us to know in the parking lot what's going on. So we do have to figure it out. We've got to talk to y'all. We've got to talk to the store and figure out what's going on before we make a decision. We're not just going to stop you, place you in handcuffs, which is why I stopped them from doing it out in the road. We've got to understand what's going on. Now that we do, you are going to jail for that. But this situation is so messy. Like how is this even holding right I'm done. Clearly, all the confusion stemmed from her initial lack of cooperation. At this point, the officers also received the item she had returned to the store after being caught. It was like Halls Mentho-Lyptus. Maybe some cough medicine. Was that what it Yes. Okay. I think we're 35 on Bravo. If you got him in Jersey, do you have a Yeah, I'm in Lake Mary Court. Um Yeah. I'm on my way. Do you have a female? Do you need help? No, no, I got this. Okay, Parker. Thanks. You said Seminole Seminole County? Yep. Okay, I'm on my way. It's getting pretty violent here. That's so pretty. I got back to fighting. Oh, and is that a nice ring over there, honey? She was charged with retail theft. This serves as a reminder that admitting mistakes early and cooperating with authorities helps resolve situations quickly and transparently. But this next woman was far worse, utterly irresponsible, shameless, and devoid of any humanity. Can can can you please just un- undo it? Undo undo it. >> That's not going to happen. I'm going to hold my god. On June 20th, 2025, police responded to a hospital report about an employee stealing from patients. When they arrived, they immediately approached her as she left the parking lot. Completely shocked by the police presence, the woman immediately became defensive, clearly afraid of being caught. Viewing the footage, the officer mentioned it showed her caring for a patient, then carefully looking around to see if anyone was watching. In a swift motion, she snatched the watch from the patient's wrist and hurriedly stuffed it into her pocket. At this point, realizing she could no longer hide it, she reluctantly consented to the officer's search, her expression full of unwillingness. No sign of guilt or wrongdoing. It was as if this were just a game to her or some act she believed she was performing in a movie. As a nurse, she should have shown at least some moral integrity, yet she displayed none. So the question remains, why would she steal when she already had a job like that? This thief had the audacity to commit a crime and even the boldness to argue face-to-face with the police. Yet sadly, she showed no responsibility for the consequences of her actions. In the end, she was charged with theft. Committing crimes and then denying responsibility only worsens the situation. Taking accountability early and cooperating with authorities is essential to prevent further consequences. Next, let's see this YouTuber when he was captured on police body cam footage. I do YouTube, but I work at Plastic Pak. >> Okay. >> But you can schedule your own days on there. I mean, this has already been opened. On February 12th, 2024, police were dispatched to the scene after receiving reports that two suspects had stolen merchandise from a Meijer store and fled. And from the very moment officers arrived, it was clear the suspects were far from willing to admit what they had done. We have no buildings like that. I mean, now here. >> Yeah. Yeah. But But when when when did you say you got here? Like a minute ago. Like a hour A minute ago? An hour ago? So you got you got to the terminal. I came from the terminal. And then I got here like a minute ago. I wasn't even here long enough to go to the store, literally. I just had left from the terminal. Then all that stuff had happened at the terminal. And where And where do you work at? You just do YouTube or I do YouTube, but I work at Plastic Pak. >> Okay. But you can schedule your own days on there. Okay. So again again tell me So you're saying like an hour ago you you arrived back in Champaign. No, I didn't come from the charter. I was already in Champaign and we caught the bus over here. Okay. Yeah. Despite the man's complete denial of the police suspicions, once backup officers arrived, he was immediately detained. So just for the >> I don't want to put my I just don't want that Here, I'll I don't want to We're not trying to break nothing. I'm just going to set that down. >> Yeah, I'm not trying to resist or anything. Okay. So just for a minute you're being detained. No problem. Do your thing. Ask your questions. I do YouTube. I work at Plastic Pak. I'm not doing anything wrong. I'm staying calm. Do you mind Do you mind if I reach just make sure that's all you got in there? Go ahead. Okay. You didn't have to use that pepper spray at the um terminal, right? >> him I was going to tase him, but then he got scared and then he just moved. >> You got a taser, too? Yeah, for protection. >> That's That's what's on the ground right behind you? Uh might be. Okay. >> Yeah, that's my taser. I didn't have a pepper spray. I gave the pepper spray to her cuz when I'm with someone I want them to feel a safety to me. So I'll let her know hold the pepper spray, I hold the taser. Could you uh separate your feet a little bit for me? I'm I'm just making sure you got nothing. I got some pajama pants on here cuz it's it's a little cold here. It's cold as [ __ ] out here. I hear you. The YouTuber claimed he carried several suspicious self-defense items and the truth quickly came to light the moment officers searched his bag. I'm going to check through this bag and maybe we can Pepper spray, you don't need that. No, you No, you don't I don't think you do. I'll double check. Did it Have they said at all what was taken? Uh headphones, miscellaneous food item, possibly Yeah, there you go. And a video game controller. They said they separated so they're still >> Oh, he did mention pepper spray. Look at that. Okay. Perfect. Okay. Um Do you want to take this property back there? We will give them the card. Yeah. Yeah. So you want me to put Or do you want us to do that? I'll leave it up to you. It doesn't matter to me. Whatever you Whatever you want him to do. The missing items were initially identified as headphones, food, and electronic devices, and one by one officers uncovered even more as they dug deeper into the bag. >> Let's Let's get everything out of here that looks like I mean, this has already been opened. I think they always bring it. She's got one of those in her bag as well. It's been opened. It has not been opened. >> I would guess it's been taken as well. No, I I I was talking to him and then then he walked up and we just come But so we we hadn't uh read him Miranda. Let's take those phones just for now. What was it originally? It looked like a jacket. Meanwhile, the second suspect was swiftly approached by police, [music] completely unaware that officers were closing in on us here. All right, ma'am. Can you do me a favor and drop this bag? Yep. Put your hands behind your back for me, all right? Um what's going on? Right now you're being detained cuz we're investigating a theft that took place. Can you stop tensing up your arm for me, okay? I'm not stopping. Well, the manager over there had stopped. Put your hand behind your back right now. Thank you. So the manager over there has a very good description of both of you. Matches everything, including the white bag and possibly a stuff in it, okay? I don't have anything like Okay. We're going to We're going to make sure. All right? Can we cut the BS? The We got called here for a reason. People matching both of your descriptions running this direction, we find you here with the exact stuff that they're talking about from Meijer. Am I going to find stuff in Meijer from there? No, It is a good somewhere along the No, I Cuz if they get their property back, maybe they don't want to pursue charges. But if we can't get their property back, even if it's not in here, you still potentially go to jail for retail theft today. All right? Um I didn't have any. So you left the house with no shoes. Yeah. Mhm, I find that hard to believe. Soon after, both suspects were brought together and despite everything being exposed, the man showed a brazen lack of remorse. Like I told her, I want you to understand something. Like you said, you're in the area matching the description, um exactly the description of what the Meijer guy said, red shoes, blue hoodie. >> Yeah, he let me know. I'm like, they said like 10 of these are these on the rack like the stores and >> So you're trying to say someone else is possibly wearing that at the same time in the same area running the same direction that you just told us? Possibly. I literally just came from the mall. Okay. So like like I told her, I do YouTube. I'm I'm betting that, you know, the property's been ditched somewhere. We're going to view the cameras there. If you're seen throwing stuff in this bag, believe and even though we don't have the property, we're still going to jail for retail theft. Doesn't change anything. Sorry, I didn't do anything wrong or anything. Okay. Oh, was he putting her in there? Yeah, they both did it on the side of the Uh Put put it in here. He's going to go on the side of the Shortly afterward, everyone was taken back to the store. The stolen items were returned, and the employees' statements further solidified the certainty of these individuals' wrongdoing. Hey there. How y'all doing? Good. Sorry about that wait. Oh, no problem. So, we think we have everything. We just need you guys to help me confirm everything. Of course. I know they got JBL headphones. I actually don't know if we found headphones. So, those were no There was no box with those. Oh, you did? Perfect. But, there There Yeah, she's got like the red squiggly. Yeah, it's in her bag. All right. So, those are definitely ours. Roughly 115, unless you want an exact number. >> Plus the headphones? Yeah. Yeah. So, that's included in the price. Headphones. Yeah, those are 80. Yeah. Okay. 20 and three one and one. Okay. And are you guys willing to go through charges for this or not? Oh, yeah. We're going to trespass them, too. Cool. Um Um are we We would like, if we can, an itemized receipt that just lists all those. Um I'm going to take a picture of them, which they can confirm if that's yours or not. So, that's the more typical Apple Store? Usually, we'll have them here instead of, you know, [ __ ] miles away. Finally, they were charged with retail theft, unlawful use of a weapon. Denying wrongdoing and showing no remorse only made the situation worse. Honesty and accountability were the only chances they had to limit the consequences. Next, these girls even tried their luck one more time. Let's see how that turned out. It's them right here, right? Right here? Yeah, they're right here. These They're over here, behind the guy. We watched them on the camera, so And then that whole stuff that he's just got the receipt, so get a printout of receipt for what was taken or what wasn't, so On March 12th, 2024, police received a call from a store reporting a group of teens who had previously stuffed multiple items into their bags, but only paid for a few. This time, they returned. Here's what unfolded when they arrived at the scene. So, if you can Huh? Give me like 2 seconds. Give me a second because this train's going to figure out Where are they? Upstairs? And no, you can just shoot for a few seconds. What Why'd you guys call us? Huh? Why'd you guys call us? Were they trying to check out and take stuff or no? Yeah. Huh? Okay. Okay. Come on. Okay. I'm coming. Somebody else is going to be coming in a minute. Somebody else is coming in a minute, all right? Hey, what's up? Not much. How are you? Good. How are you doing? Good. Hey. Hey, what's up? Hey. The reason why we called the my manager wanted us to call Yeah. cuz um yesterday they were actually in here Yeah. and they did the same thing. They walked out with three bags full. Okay. And only paid for two items. They were in here right now. Watching them right now. And they were waiting to see if they could do the same thing again? >> Yeah. So, he just called for just I guess they wanted to be prepared just to The police entered the store's loss prevention room, waiting for the right moment to approach the suspects. In the meantime, they reviewed what had happened during the previous incident. Yeah, so it was basically during the same time frame with them. Okay. So, when I was getting ready to go, I passed by and they were bagging everything up. But, I told my boss, "I'm just trying to get out of here." So, um you know, that's when they walked up. But, when I replayed the tape, Yeah. they only had paid for two items. Okay. >> And there was three bags full like that. And then now, today is the same. I mean, right now, they closed the bag up already in the aisle. All right. They already got two bags in there or whatever. Now, I'm just waiting to see what they're going to pay now today. Did yesterday's get reported or anything? I didn't get to Like I said, you know, it happened like at 9:30. Okay. So, I I got out of here. I didn't get time to call or whatever. And I wanted to make sure that was 100%. Okay. So, I reviewed everything the next day, and everything was good. So, that's why I I didn't get to report it last night cuz I didn't >> Okay. So, do Yeah. So, we're going to do that today and then Yeah. Following their previous crime, the teens returned once again, completely unaware that they were being watched on camera. Um just start making Just start sending another car down here. We're just waiting to them view the security footage to make sure um They're going to shop with everything, but um just start sending another car down here, and so looks like we're going to have two 10-5s, but we'll let you know. Yeah, there they go. >> [music] [music] >> The police intercepted the suspects just in time and escorted them to the loss prevention room, leaving them with little room to justify their actions. So, everyone here is aware our cameras are recording, okay? No head. How old is everybody here? What's that? 20, you? 20, you? 20. 23, you? 21. How old? 21? All right. Just so you know, saw the camera, everything up there. You only paid for some of this stuff. He watched it, too. It supposedly happened yesterday, okay? Um for today's incident, it's for all four of you. Um you'll be charged with shoplifting. You'll also be >> Charged? Yeah. Um you didn't pay for none of the stuff. You passed all points of sales, and that's considered shoplifting once you leave the store. So, how much is two 10-5s? Two females? Um you'll also be Four females? You'll be charged with So, how much is there? No. Let Let him finish up. And then we'll go We're going to explain everything to you guys. And then you'll also be banned from the store. You'll be signing this trespassing form that you're not allowed in any of our shop books. Those were the initial measures the store had put in place for the suspects. Shortly after, the police handcuffed them. Okay. Hey, everybody stand up. Wait, can I write my brother's number? I don't have it. Bring your hands up. Do you have to like put handcuffs on me? Yep. Stand up for me. Can you put it Can I put your hands behind your back? >> Can't do that. No. I can't. No. And we'll grab your phone. Why do you want to come behind This goes on record. Yeah. All right. Do you need medical attention? She's having a panic I'm I'm asking you a question. It's a yes or no question. Can you just switch out the phone right now? No, I'll I'll do it once you answer my question. Do you need medical attention? Yes or no? Okay, take your name and stuff, then. She's going to do the search procedure. All right. Everything was on camera. I'm sorry? What you put in your We're heartless. We're going to do what we have to do. We're ready to do it, okay? You got to flip over Shelby real quick. Sorry. All right. Take this hand, put the thumb down, and then thumb. We'll start with one, all right? >> [music] >> Yeah, DJ. Yeah. All right. Okay. Okay. What about my car that's here? Is it going to be towed? Your car? We're going to keep it in the parking lot. Do you have anything on you that we should know about? Anything? Any weapons? Um I have a vape in my pocket. >> Okay, she'll find it. You have some, all right? Okay, we're going to search you, but I have to ask you. I'm not swallowing anything. Listen to me now. Put that over there. Mhm. Somebody wants to take her. All right. This No. Back here. We'll get one or the other. All of them were charged with retail theft. Returning to steal after already being caught only led to even more serious consequences. Cooperating with authorities and respecting the law was the only way to avoid harsher outcomes. Next, thanks to the surveillance footage, the woman was arrested at her home. Total unpaid goods is 182. [music] >> Okay, 182 The return is 44. Daniel, step out of the house. No, I'm going to meet you there, but No, no, sir, please. Ma'am, that's not how it works. You're under arrest. On March 26th, 2024, police received a report from a store about a suspect who had skip scanned at the checkout, [music] not just once. All the details were meticulously documented by the store's loss prevention team. She had selected about $182.03 worth of merchandise as well as a $44.99 item that she returned that she selected from the sales floor. So, all together it comes to $227.02. So, I have all of the information here. I'll bring it up for you. What is that returned item that you're talking about? So, the returned item is the Mario Kart. So, it's a toy. She grabs it from aisle eight, comes right up, goes right to courtesy, returns it. We have a policy Yeah, without a receipt, we can give you a gift card. Okay. And that's what we did. So, we're returning the $197.97 gift card with a $2.98 tax. So, she is actually just got free money for it. Um the purchase that she didn't make. The purchase is here for what she did get and then I gave you a copy of everything that she selected. So, the way I do my investigations are I follow them from the time they enter the store to the time they exit and everything they pick up, I write it down and then I go around, grab pictures of the items, go to the register and actually get a physical receipt for you guys. So, I'm going to start with This is the female. Okay. I have two >> Did she pay with a credit card? She paid with She did pay with a credit card, but we only have the last four digits of her card. Okay. It was reported that the woman fled immediately afterward, but fortunately, the cameras captured everything related to her. So, I give you two photos of the suspect. So, you can compare and this is the vehicle. These cameras are awesome. Mhm. Yeah, we just got them recently and I'm loving them. So, I'll show you these. >> Do you have footage of her entering that vehicle? Yep, I have video of her actually physically entering it and the vehicle pulling out of the parking lot as well. Um so, let me set this up for you. So. This video here is going to physically show her coming from aisle seven, walking up with the item, walking to courtesy, returning the item, and then going to self-checkout. This is her right here. The orange reddish item on top is the item she had selected from the aisle. So, the dog food she pays for, bagels, milk, and English muffins are the things that she actually does pay for. So, the total of unpaid goods The total of unpaid goods is $227.02 and that is pre-tax. The total unpaid goods is $182. >> $182 and the return is $44.99. Based on the information provided by the store, on the same day, police approached the residential area where her vehicle had been spotted. It seemed she was still unaware of what was about to happen. She's for sure 41. 227. Hi. Can I help you? Yes. Were you at ShopRite earlier today? Yesterday I was. Yesterday? Yes. Okay. Did you happen to not purchase anything? Let me put them outside. I'm sorry. Come here. Ma'am, if you could just step out, we can have a conversation with you. That'd be better. Uh do you want to step outside and talk to us? I I don't know. I'm a little nervous cuz I don't I I've I've just heard that it's better to talk from inside. Like I don't >> Okay. All right. Well, um I'm going to read this to you really quick, okay? All right. It seemed that by barricading herself inside, she had realized what was coming. Suspicion grew even stronger as she showed no willingness to cooperate after hearing the charges against her. Um yes, I do. I don't have anything to Okay. So, what happened? The heck cuz I'm confused as to what ShopRite has to do with anything. >> Okay. So, then when you went to ShopRite, you didn't end up like not purchasing anything. You everything you purchased or everything you had in your cart, you purchased. Yeah, I don't All I got I think all I got was She used taking care of her household as an excuse to avoid the police. Nearly 20 minutes later, she finally opened the door, but it was clear that things were far from easy. To let you know what? He's right here. The cop is right here. Can you talk to him? my husband. Uh so, your wife's being arrested for shoplifting. So, call your wife when she's done with us and see what's going on. All right? All right. Thank you. He said he said your wife's BEING ARRESTED FOR SHOPLIFTING. CALL HIM WHEN CALL YOU WHEN IT'S DONE. MA'AM, STEP OUT OF THE HOUSE. CAN I see your wallet? This is just a beep. It's not It's not just a regular beep. Do you have anything else on you? I'm so sorry. I did not mean to do that. Can I lock Can you lock that, please? If you press the top button, press all the way on the top. >> All right, ma'am. Push that. >> One? No, no, all the way on the top. And then just turn the Can we Is there any way we could do this in the car? Like I'm not Like I'm not Oh my god. I'm not running from you. Yeah, just turn it. The top part. Yeah, the Like the Yeah, turn to the left. Can you All right. Yeah, like if you press that button and then turn it to the left. The woman was charged with shoplifting, but since this was her first offense and she had no prior criminal record, she was released immediately after processing. She was issued a summons with a court date. The attempt to avoid responsibility or delay cooperating with authorities only makes matters more complicated. Admitting mistakes early and complying with the law is the only way to mitigate the consequences. What do you think about cases like this? On April 20th, 2025, officers were called to Walmart after receiving reports of a woman suspected of skip scanning items at the self-checkout. When they arrived, the suspect had already been taken to the loss prevention office. She got caught red-handed in both the literal and the figurative sense. Hi, my name's Corporal Tilford. What are we doing here today? I was purchasing merchandise and um I I got to scan the wrong items. Okay. >> A few of the wrong items. Okay. My job here is just to Do you have Oh, there one of them are trading. So, they're just watching. Um are your are your fingers okay? No, I I have a I have my ring lately and I might I need to like I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow. >> Yeah, cuz they're really swollen. I I know. Look Look Look how red my hands are, too. Sure enough. Um do you and you don't have any physical ID on you? That's what my job here. My job here is just to identify you and then that's it. It's good enough. Um I use a fingerprint scanner. It's It's painless. Uh do you Are you diabetic or anything? Have anything wrong with your fingers? Um I am diabetic. Okay. Do you poke which which finger do you poke? Um I I don't I hope that Oh, good enough. Okay. Um so, I'll show you on this and basically I'm just going to check your ID. Um I'm going to identify you. They're going to probably issue a trespass. Anything Anything related to prosecution or any type of criminal, they'll probably handle because it's we weren't involved in that. Does that make sense? Um I mean, we can try to get your name. Did you write her name? What's What's We're going to write down the name that I'm just going to ask you your name. She seemed cooperative during questioning, but in reality, she completely avoided confirming her identity using her medical issues as a shield. And worse, everything spiraled even further out of control. Briana, how do I spell that, Briana? B R I O N A. What's your date of birth? 8 13 91. 8 13 91? >> Mhm. Okay. 91? Yes, sir. And uh what what state is your ID out of? Um I actually don't have an ID. Do you Have you ever gotten any ID ever? >> No. How do you How would you get >> I just I don't I don't leave my house much. That's probably why we don't have an ID. So, So, I'll show you how this works and we'll try your fingers here. It's kind of a cool little technology. Welcome to the future. Can I see your right finger? Do you need medical? [laughter] Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Do you want medical attention? Yes, please. Yeah, could you call fire for an ambulance? Yeah, do you want to sit Do you want to sit back? So, Tilford I'm just Can you Can you breathe for me? You got >> [laughter] >> Okay. Is this something normal for you? You know, it's been getting worse and worse. How old are you? I'm 33. >> 33? Okay. I'm going to have medics come out and take a look at you, okay? Do you want to sit down on the ground? Do you want to sit on the ground? Or do you want to sit back on this? You want to lay down? You want to lay down on your side over here? I'm just preventing you from falling down. What do you want to do? Where does it hurt? My arm hurts now. Just breathe. Yeah, just breathe. Do you want to sit down on the ground? Let's go and escort her to the ground and sit Hey, ma'am, let's let's take your purse off just to make you more comfortable, okay? There we go. Yeah, we're good. I'm not going to take it from you. I'm not going to look through it. Let's just go ahead and move it over here, okay? Okay. The more they questioned her identity, the worse her illness suddenly became. And everything grew blatantly fake when she began acting as if she were having convulsions. But her performance failed miserably. I'm going to sit with you, but I'm still going to check I'm going to still going to check your fingers. Which makes you feel like we have a warrant. Do you have seizures? We're just going to hold you here. Just don't I'm just going to sit here with you until medics get here. Do you have a warrant? No. No or anything like that? Okay, but I'm I still have to ID you, so we're going to sit here with you until medics get here. Okay? Do you want to go on your side? Can you go on your I'm going to put you on your side. >> [laughter] >> I'm going to put you on your side. I'm going to put you in the recovery position, ma'am. Okay? Go ahead and turn sideways. I need to see your hands. What's wrong? Relax. Relax. Take a breath. Take a breath. THIS IS THE recovery position so you can breathe, okay? You got to keep your lungs open. You're making me really nervous that you're not letting me have your fingers, which makes me think which makes me think that you have a warrant and you're preventing this from happening. >> No. No. So I need to see your ID. >> [laughter] >> I need to fingerprint you. This is so I know it's not illegal. This is starting to be resistance and not a medical emergency, okay? There's the fact that I wanted to print you, the fact that I wanted to print you when this happened. I'm a little nervous that you're preventing me from not ID'ing you. So guess what? You can lay here fine. I'll just need to see your finger. Medics are going to need to know your medical history. Can I see your finger? Then we'll go to the other side. Corporal Tilburg, clear no record. [laughter] I'm going to get your ID, okay? I need They need to know who you are. Her seizure led her to twist her body just enough to hide whichever hand the officers needed, and she even managed to argue back at them in the middle of her supposed episode. Everything only made it harder for the officers to help her. But you literally started that the moment I talked ABOUT YOUR ID. YOU DON'T HAVE TO RESIST. DON'T USE YOUR HANDS. STOP. STOP. STOP. STOP. WE NEED TO KNOW WHO YOU ARE. CAN I PLEASE see your [laughter] finger? Why are you preventing me from doing this? Fine. We'll just ID her when she stops doing [laughter] her burning. Why are you preventing me from ID'ing you? What What's What's the name she gave? Um Briana. Briana, why are you preventing me from ID'ing you? Why are you stopping me from taking your fingerprints? >> [laughter] >> Okay. Well, you're okay now, so we're just going to sit here and wait for you. We're still going to get it when she's only burning. Quick frisk on her already. I mean, it's either A completely absolutely or I'm really surprised that the moment we started doing ID this is happening and you're preventing me from looking at your fingerprints. So after after we'll follow her down to the hospital. I'll ID her down to the hospital. HEY MA'AM, SINCE YOU since you're having trouble with your hands, do you mind if I pull your ID out of your wallet? Oh, okay. [laughter] No. That was her answer about giving her fingerprints, and the officer didn't even [clears throat] need a medical team. He already figured out what caused her seizure. This right here isn't isn't seizure resistance. It's on purpose resistance. I I At this point I've never seen a seizure like My family has epilepsy and my family has seizures, and you'll be okay. So we're just going to stop You're just going to ride it out. We're going to prevent you from slamming your head on the ground, okay? Well, the main thing is not to swallow your tongue and to be exactly where you're at. Are you overdosing on drugs? Do you need Narcan? You got something in my pouch right here. To help you with medical? Fire department's going to need to know who you are. Can I verify with your fingerprints? Or your ID. Or your ID. Can I take a look at your ID? Briana, why can't I find out who you are? We're going to I'm about 80% sure this is real, but about 20% believing that you're making a show. If I If breathing changes or anything like that, we'll do CPR. But for now, there's nothing you can do at this point for a seizure. Just prevent her from slamming into anything. The fact that she's so resistant on her fingers which is weird, but I'm not going to force. I am not able to force cuz it's not in her best interest. This was just a courtesy for that. So they'll go with the information that we have. If we can't identify, we can't identify. After the medical team arrived, they confirmed she was completely fine. The officers then found another way to verify her identity, and that was when her lies finally surfaced. Nicole You're Nicole. All right, Nicole. The fact that I'm going to ID you is I'm going to ID you through this, okay? It's important that we do it. Okay. I believe that you're doing this because you don't want me to know who you are, so I'm going to find out who you are. Okay, I'll take a picture and put it back. That's fine. I'll put it back, but I'm still going to ID you. I believe this has everything to do with you not wanting me to know who you are, Nicole. You also gave me a fake name, so if I find that you don't go to the hospital, I'm going to take you to jail for lying to me. So either you give me your real name or we're going to go to jail. Looks like you are at the Players Club at at the So she's Nicole? Well, you just You're not a Briana at all, Nicole. If you're having a medical emergency, you shouldn't be worried about me. Nicole, I'm here to identify who you are cuz now I believe that you're lying to me. So now I'm investigating obstruction. Hey, if you're having a medical then let me print you and let's take care of this. Can I print you real fast and fix this? Let me print you and we'll call it a good. But if you're having a medical emergency, you shouldn't be worried about me at all. Well, Nicole, I already have probable cause for your arrest cuz you just gave me a false name. So if you want to go that route, we can go that route. The woman turned out to be a perfect actress, still pretending to be a helpless victim just to avoid walking to the patrol car, all because of the real reason behind hiding her identity. Yeah. Hey Nicole, you have a $7,500 warrant. And now we know why this is happening, but now you're going to Now you're going strapped down because now we're forcing you to go to the hospital. Don't worry about it, Nicole. I don't need your fingers anymore. I identified who you were. How's it going, Mr. Bailey? As soon as I tried to fingerprint her, she had a seizure. And then we found out she has a $7,500 warrant. Well, well, well. But now I'm Now I'm deciding if she's playing this game and causing this level of um of level of resistance on this, I'm thinking of charging her for false statement. So this is what we're doing, Nicole. You're going to the hospital and then you're going to go to jail. Because I think this is a show. I think you're lying to me. And I think that that you did this because you didn't want me to know you were Nicole. Yeah. Okay. Nicole, we're going to do this as an involuntary committal. Um but I'm also going to charge you for giving me a false name cuz you lied to me, okay? So when we get over here, I'm going to still take your fingerprint. Nicole, I'm going to be straight with you. Oh, I'm going to be straight with you. Look at me, Nicole. I promise you I will take you to jail unless you stop. I promise you. I work until 7:00 a.m. and I will wait for you at the St. Francis. You need to stop and you need to tell us what's going on. You have a Okay. Why did you lie to me about your name? Yes, you did. You said your name was Briana and your name is Nicole. Medical Medic doesn't doesn't really have a diagnosis for you. Open your eyes. Open your eyes. Okay, that's fine. And we'll follow you there. Open your eyes so She was charged with theft and for obstructing the officers during the identification process. Actions meant to dodge accountability only make the fall harder later. Honesty from the start is always the safest path. Moving out of the shopping center heading toward this extremely arrogant customer at Starbucks. Who was in charge? Let's go. Nope. You're staying [music] here. Get off me so I can get up, dumb ass. GET OFF ME. YOU AIN'T GOING TO LAY ON ME TO GET UP? ON MAY 25TH, 2024, police received a report of a woman causing a disturbance at Starbucks. Things sounded [music] serious. They rushed to the scene and it quickly became clear that the situation was far more complicated than they had expected. >> What's going on? Where is she at? I last I saw she was out here by the door. Inside? Yes. Oh, why are you guys out here? Oh, I was just letting the customers know that They sent me back here. Can we go through here? Yes. What's What's You just saw her leave with all that? Um so yeah, we just All right. What's she look like? Where at? Uh is this the way? What? The one with the egg? Wait. The one with the cell phone? Where? Is she still here? Did she leave? Did she leave? And the book? All right. Oh, I want to find the corporate. That's okay. And I would like my refund. Well, I can't make them give you a refund. Oh, yes, they can. They already told me. Give me my refund cuz I never had a problem. I I understand. Like that's actually how they have issues with them. Like Starbucks and they can't give you a refund. I understand, but we can't force people to >> I paid my money and I would like my refund. And I'm asking you nicely to tell them to give me my Yeah. Yeah. I'm telling you right now. But I'm on the phone with corporate. Like you can be, but they want you to leave. I'm not leaving until So this is what can happen. This is what can happen. Okay. All I got to do is I'm going to go out there and issue you a citation. Wait. You got to You're going to get arrested. You are not going to arrest Corporate trust, yes. You're going to give me a refund nicely because I asked for one and you're being a jerk. All right, I don't have it. Don't have it. For a $5 coffee, the woman demanded a refund [music] for the cup she was already drinking, an utterly unreasonable request. She even ignored every warning from the police. Don't make this bad where you have to get two different tickets and arrest. So they want you to leave. Call corporate. I'm on the phone with corporate. >> I got you, babe. We got to go. After they give me my refund, I'm sitting right here and you're sitting right here. Why can't you just get my refund? Because I This is a civil matter. I need my refund. You're not getting a refund from us. We can't do that. You have to get it from corporate. No, I can get it from them. I've never had a problem. I've been coming for 3 years. She says she says she doesn't want to identify and says she wants to leave. See if they got a name like on a card she used or something. Yes, sir. All right. You still have to go out here. >> You can get your hand off my purse. I'm telling you. Yes. Okay, so she's pissed off female. She's pissed off because she wants her refund back. But uh they won't give it to her. I told her it's a civil matter. She was absolutely refusing to leave and she won't give me her identification so I told her they want you trespassed so you got to go. She says she won't identify and she's refusing to leave here. At this point, another officer approached, [music] but the tension from her words continued unabated. She was fully aware of the situation she was in, yet she showed no concern. Well, what's going on today? I already explained it to him and he got rude with me and that's all that was going to happen. I just got here. I don't know what's going on. Because the lady I asked for a refund they said that I'm trespassing. How in the world am I trespassing if I already talked to corporate and they clearly said that's not called trespassing and I don't have a refund. Look, I know I know you guys are busy and you guys have going on, but we got to situate out here and you guys got to make choices. So she's No, I'm sorry. I just got here. >> want her to go? I got you. You guys want her to go? She's refusing to leave, we're going to arrest her. If you have to I have to hear you tell me. I want her arrested and I I want her off the property and I want her trespassed. Do you want her trespassed? >> got it. That's what we want. All right. So what is it what is her issue? I I really don't know. She had ordered What I can't understand Uh-huh. She had ordered Okay. a drink. Okay, do you have your ID? All right, so have you ever been trespassed up here before? All right. I've been here coming here for over 3 years and I've never had a problem until you guys came. Okay. So why were you asking for a refund? Because they didn't give me my water. But this girl got rude with me in the driveway. Okay. And I politely said, "Can I get a refund?" She said, "I'm not giving you a refund." Okay. So I came inside and asked for the manager. Uh-huh. And she said she wasn't giving me a refund and she walked to the back and walked out. All right. So what what did you order? This drink. Clearly haven't touched it. Okay. And uh some chocolate chip cookies or something. Did you get the cookies? They're in the truck. They're in the truck. So you got everything you paid for? I paid for I just want to say 100% you know what I want to do this for last year. Things quickly escalated as the woman refused to acknowledge the store's authority, [music] even demanding that higher ranking personnel step in. They don't want you on the property anymore. >> the lady that said she don't want me on the property? The manager said that Okay, so So hold on a second. Let me Let me explain it. With management not wanting you on the property they have the right to ask you to leave and at that at that point at that point in time Okay. So So well slow down a little bit. Whenever management asks someone to leave, it does become trespassing at that point. Anyone Anyone who is an employee here has the right to ask you to leave. What is her name? And then I will leave. I already talked to corporate and they said get her name. You're about to get arrested. You're about to go to jail. Who are you? I asked you guys can you please give me her name so I can leave? I will leave after I get her name so I can let corporate know. You can stop looking. I'm talking to him. He's been more calm than you have. You've been rude. Please leave me alone. Anyways, can you please get her name? I can try to get her name, however, I cannot force her to give me give me her name. So that's that's crazy because you can force me to leave, but you can't force her to leave. >> this point you are trespassing because we've warned you to leave the property. Anyways, can you please go give me her name? Let me see if I can grab her name real quick. Thank you. If you notice, her family was right behind her and she showed no shame in displaying her arrogance in front of them. She even used her phone to try to record everything that was happening. You're so cute though. You're so adorable. Step out of my face, please. Thank you. That's not the manager right there, so Who is the manager? I can't give you a manager's name. I already We keep telling you everything. You're the only one who won't listen to >> No, he said he was going to get the manager's name. Hey, I I honestly think you're going to regret She Even though she's out here, she still has a kid here with her too. Probably Her Her name is And that that Her name is That was not the manager that came. She just came. She is the one who is in charge. She was not here though. You're lying and so are they. I'm not lying. It's all on body camera. I told you look on the camera and see that was not her name. All right, so so here here's the deal. I provided you with the person who is in charge. Pouring the drink onto the floor was a completely defiant act and it was this very action that made the situation [music] escalate dramatically. Let's go. Nope. You're staying here. No, I'm not. I'm grabbing You're staying here. Oh my god damn oh. Let me go. Give me your hands. No, let me go. Stop recording me. Recording you. Recording you. I AM. LET ME GO. STOP RECORDING HER. OH, GRAB ME. The woman could have left easily from the start, but she chose to challenge herself instead, forcing a confrontation that neither the police nor she would wanted to have in front of her family. I've been nice with you this whole time. Yeah, and you got rude when he came out. And he threw ME ON THE GROUND. MINE ARE COMPLETELY TORN to pieces, so Hurry up AND GET UP HER RIGHT NOW. Just making sure I'm not dripping blood. You didn't care if I was. You know, I gave you multiple opportunities. Who are you to get me on the ground and you threw me on the [ __ ] ground. GET THE HELL OUT OF MY FACE WITH THAT BULL CRAP. >> I'M NOT in your face. If you want to see in your face, I'll get in your face. >> going to have a whole contest if YOU YOU'RE ARGUING IN MINE, I'M GOING TO ARGUE RIGHT BACK. AWESOME. I've got all day. It's so what, poopy butt? Send me another officer here. You're going in the back of that car. That's fine, too. But I'm not leaving until my mom can come and get my kids. All right, you're still going in the back of the car. You keep telling us what you're not going to do today. Courtney, can you hurry up and get her name? All you had to do was leave. I don't know why you caused all this trouble. >> Because I asked for a refund. What the hell did you do? >> We can't make them give you a refund. And you can You sat there AND THEN YOU LIED ON THE TOP OF THE NAME OF THE GIRL'S NAME AND THAT WASN'T HER [ __ ] NAME. My body camera Pull my body camera. Pull it. You can You can request And I provided you with And I provided you with the name. Do you want to listen to me? Like I said. Do you want to listen to me? I said what I said. For a third time, do you want to listen to me? Obviously not. Obviously not. All right, well hurry up because they talking about as soon as they They talking about as soon as another car car come, they taking me and I said I'm not leaving until somebody come get my kids. Do you want And then he he stepped on my back to get up off the ground, bro. At this point, the officers moved to calm bystanders and double-checked everything, all while confirming that she appeared completely irresponsible. I just want my baby back. Okay, how old is he? How old is he? I'm trying to let you know, I'm trying to help you out, I promise. I just want to make sure somebody can come here and get you. Well, I just spoke with I guess their grandmother and also there's an aunt and yes, they're supposed to be in the way. The grand The aunt told me she was coming from Granite City, so it'll be a minute, but I said that I would wait I guess cuz there's actually two other children sleeping in the backseat here. Hello. So They all came in this car? When a business calls, any business in this town, and they tell us that they want somebody to leave, they have every right to do that. Now us as the police we cannot make anything that's between the customer and the business happen. So if a customer wants a refund, we can't make them do that. No, I'm staying here. But she's saying that she I got you. But Yeah, but they all they all called us here and said she was unruly and they wanted her to go. I made I made them tell me three or four times. How did it get to this? I'm trying to get there with you, everything You explained it to me, but I'm just saying I asked how did it get to this? All right. So she's saying all she wanted was a refund, right? She said she wouldn't leave until we gave her anything, right? Why did it get to this? That's what I'm saying. You to be here you have to Well, cuz we were called cuz she was unruly. She was charged with aggravated battery on a peace officer, criminal trespassing, >> [music] >> disorderly conduct, obstructing identification, and resisting arrest. Refusing to follow rules, ignoring authority, and acting recklessly in public can quickly escalate a minor issue into serious legal consequences. Even worse, the woman seemed to believe that stealing was something she had the right to do. I don't know why, but I have a feeling Apple Pay is not going to work. Yeah, of course. She I think very much for making yourself viral cuz you get fired for real for real. The police received a call from a woman at Publix reporting that she had been assaulted by the staff there. Leaving the officers completely confused, but things seemed to shift in another direction when they arrived on scene. Let this manager explain what had happened more clearly. Me for morning She like temp things up with soup. Oh. Soup. Put her hand in every box of chicken that we had, so we had to throw it away. She didn't have any money until payday. it. We know that. Go get her. So she can't pay for the soup but I'd like to pay for it so I'll just put it on your card. Oh hey guys, I'm leaving right now. I just after I paid for the food. You're going to pay for the food? Yeah, but they won't charge my phone and they only have Apple Pay for this. The other ones that wanted We got to solve everything. Guys, do you have Apple Pay? No. There's a thousand of us. Oh are you going to the cordial one? I got my voice on that. I'm going to pay for No. Okay, but what I mean He said I was paying for this with Apple Pay. I didn't know my phone was dead. I have the money to pay for it and they were like I hate broke dead ass white people. They were like harassing me. It's all over the surveillance. I promise you on God. And then this one right here with beer glasses is the same she's yelling at me just like she's So ma'am, you're saying you need your phone charged right now to pay. Is that what you're telling us? So if we charge your phone, you're going to pay? What kind of phone do you got? Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max 256. It seemed the story shifted from suspect to victim through the woman's own words. She said she was ready to pay if she could charge her phone but her solution was completely flawed. You got a cell phone charger? Can you buy the broth for this triple C for me and then I'll trade you some soup for it? Which one are you buying? I'm not buying anything for you. Oh I can buy the charger and then pay No, you get No, no Do they have a charger We're going to loan you a charger temporarily to charge your phone. Hopefully. They said no. They said you're going to 33rd. They actually I was like what? How do you know about 33rd? That's you in there? And she was like yeah, flash me outside [ __ ] And I was like what? I saw you back there. When do you need the charger back then? Take her. What does take her mean? I'm going to pay for it. You can't take me to 33rd. No, I did not. We have to give her an opportunity to pay. We got to try. Otherwise it's the State Attorney's Office. State Attorney. I have a feeling it it's not going to work tonight. So but we got to got to try. How are you supposed to charge? I don't want to hold on hold on Ma'am, you said that you want to get your phone charged so you can pay for the stuff you just ate. It was clear the woman's mindset was completely problematic especially since she refused to let anyone touch her phone yet she had no issue plunging her hands into the soup. The officers even saw more products she had opened with no intention of using. The chips too? All of it. She opened every single one of them? She put her hand in every single one of these boxes. All that she opened this one. So all these opened? Some of them are not. I'll tell you what, the ones that are not open we'll just get rid of them. The ones that she has opened and touched something we'll just going to charge her for those. What's your first name? I'm a YouTuber and it's What's your What's your first name? Dynasty. Dynasty. Uh how many more things of soup? How many things of soup total? She didn't I think it's going to be like eight things of soup. What's your date of birth Dynasty Robertson? It's 219 1946. I'm going to just confirm that you have the money on your account to pay. I sure do. Okay. But I can't see it right now until the charge comes up. >> Okay and and it won't Hold on. It looks like it's probably going to be over $100. Oh over $100? That's crazy. Okay, as long as you have $100 that's fine. >> Yeah, but they they were acting like it was going to be $500,000. No, I don't I don't think the the bills generally go up that high in this store. And then did not let me charge until you got here. So Robertson r o b e r s o n. Where are you from? I'm from the kingdom. What state is that? Guyana. g u y a n a. How long have you been in the United States? Um I'm I can be deported at any time so I've only been here for about two weeks. Her story kept growing more circular and those very statements made the officers suspicious about her real identity. But you don't have an accent. That's interesting. Well, isn't that how I get deported too? Usually that's how it goes. Oh really? You've been to Guyana before? No, but I know Guyanese people. Oh you know Guyanese people but you have not been to Guyana. I've not to Guyana. See they always do this. That's my past past life. Like 90% of Orlando but they always think that I'm not going to pay for my stuff. But do I look like a broke [ __ ] to you or like you know what I mean? So what year did you say you were born? Uh and we should like to possibly rewind and then play it again because this started recording on your axon where I went So you said 1946 I believe. Yeah, so why did you ask me what year >> So because I don't think that's accurate cuz that would put you at like 70 years old. No, I'm only 77 actually. Okay, are you 77 years old? That's why I'm still over here, see? You think a 21 year old would be over here like this in the bathroom? Well, you look great for your age. >> Oh thank you so much. The whole counter was filled with soup with soup bowls. She was just ladling it out? Yeah. And she kept going. I'm like wait, this woman needs to say something to her because you can't keep putting your hand in the soup. Yeah. So then when she asked her she was saying that she'll feed the homeless with a $25 check and she got mad and stopped. So and I'm like ma'am, if you're paying with a check I can't take a check for She was like I never said that. I'm here with cash. >> I don't know why but I have a feeling Apple Pay is not going to work. That's just my professional opinion. Um And she just start Oh if I touched it you can't sell it and then over every boxes So okay so she consumed out something out of each one of these boxes, okay? Okay. That soup aisle had turned into her own little home making game and she was seen chatting and laughing with other customers as if she had done nothing wrong. And now it was time to see whether she could actually pay like she claimed. Did it turn on? All right, here we go. I was not able to pay. All right, we got just enough juice. Let's pull up this Apple Pay. What happened? It came up? Yeah. I'm going to drive back, okay? Well, I don't think you have a wrong up. Think charged up. Come on, let's go. Let's back up here. We're going to pay. Okay. You want to go to the one of these fine individuals? And I'm pretty sure that you can ring you out. You won't get You can get to the booths. Can it be paid for now so we can get you out? Oh. Sorry. You got to turn. Turn Turn it. No. Other way. Keep going. No, no, other way. There it is. Are you able to walk ma'am? No, that's fine. I'm okay. How did you make it into the store? I I barely did it. I can't. Uh determination. All right. Go that No, no, other way. Other way. Other way. Where's the mirror? Which one are we going to be at? Now she's starting to sound like us. Right here. Right here. Right here? Right there. 19265. Is that what you're saying? You said 192 Yeah, that's exactly what I said. So if you're having trouble Oh we got Oh Oh got it. Oh got it. Hold on. Please wait. Please wait. Not authorized. Oh my goodness. All right, we'll try another one. Don't worry. If you want to use a combination that's also allowed. Is it okay if I put it on After all the delays at the checkout counter the result turned out exactly as the officers had predicted. And based on her own story it seemed this was not her first time. I already knew this too. You got to tell the next person in line. And then the funny thing is I would like not pay for it and they would still keep all the food. They wouldn't give me the food so they win. No, actually if you pay for it it is yours right now. But right now they're doubting that you have the ability to pay for it. If it doesn't go through for some reason they get to keep the food and charge me. That's what they do all the time. They did it at KFC the other night. They did it at Publix all the time. I have class action lawsuits all over the city and I know more OPD than you know OPD and you know this ma'am. All right, who wants to write the statement? I'll tell you this. You write better than me. How about we try another card because I don't think that one's going to work tonight. This is not your card so you wouldn't know how many times you have to swipe it till it actually works. The card is very What's it called? That encryption that I built into it cuz I did cyber security, okay? So I know once I hit 17 it's about right now the food got When you hit 17 times it will accept? People stole victory for the five-oh. Just can't argue with that. So after Apple Pay failed she pulled out her card to pay something she could have done from the very beginning. But the real shock was that the number of cards didn't stop at just one. Oh approved. Approved. Wow. Oh. How about that? Oh so that took $50 off? All right. Now we can get uh I don't know. 142. We'll try the Apple Pay again. Now it's last maybe the Apple Pay will take a little more. I think that card's going to be depleted so we can try another card. People on live right now cuz they're live bad and stuff. To my cash app. That's why they're saying not authorized. You want to hit 17. Hit the watch and get live bad on your access card, cuz you guys are hurting, too, obviously. Here. No, you cannot hold onto this thing. We have one card with $50 and we have a >> [clears throat] >> park for $4. Really? So, we're getting We're getting there. Is the Medicaid card All right, let's skip the Medicaid card. No, I said that's an interesting The souls one worked. No cash back. From Apple Pay to credit cards to a medical card and even EBT, she pulled out everything, yet none of it had enough funds. The woman had kept everyone waiting far too long and to put an end to the stalling, the officers decided to act. Who satisfies the smell of it? Stand up. No, no, no, no, no, no, you can't do this to me. Let me get my cane at least, please. Your cane's going to come with you. Come on, but we'll help you. We will be your cane. You won't let me get my cane? ABA ABA Okay. All right, all right. All right, one for me. Just give me a second. I got to get off this. My ass is so fat. Let's go. How do you apply this? How do you do that? Oh, no. Left foot first. 911 911 I forgot 1-800-No-Bottom. Is there an emergency shuttle for this? 1-800-No-Bottom going to 33rd. Who's got my bail money and bag it for 1137-93 and they took off 50 and they're going to keep all the money and you're going to get free food >> We'll get your stuff. >> and my cards and my iPhone. Trust this is how it goes. And Latoya and Porsche, thank you very much for making yourself viral cuz you get viral for real for real. So, officer Arion, what's up? Follow her. I'm on the way. Get lost. I can't wait to get locked up. Yeah, I'll get I'll grab the Voluntary gang 20730 official [ __ ] I'm crazy. Marie cakes with an S 85 on Snapchat 6000 subscribers are challenging suck my dick. Man, man, come on. There's kids in here. I don't care about them kids. Okay. So, hide your kids, hide your wives. This is what we found. This is how we do it on Sunday night. Free chicken for everyone. In the end, she was charged with petty theft and misuse of 911. Acting careless, turning herself into the victim and wasting everyone's time only made things worse. If she had taken responsibility from the start, she could have avoided all of it.
