I'm not getting in there. Stop. I have a metal plate in my wrist for no reason. Thank you. You're abusing your authority and that's not right. You abuse your authority and that's not right. Get her away Get her right. I still haven't seen her drop it yet. That's it and I told you that that it might have been it was a mistake if I missed anything. Everything I see in here even the stuff that cost you more than a light. Testing their luck it felt like an irresistible game for shoplifters. From daring to see if they could walk out with an entire cart unnoticed to scrambling to fabricate lies when caught but how would it all end? Stay tuned for today's video when shoplifters push their luck with a full cart at Walmart. We are This is law. Don't forget to like and subscribe. Start with this tweaking repeat shoplifter. I appreciate she has more stuff which is she was in cosmetics. In the last aisle. She was just but you still have the other ones. I have what? Three other warrants? For what? Uh two for shoplifting. On the 16th of January 2025 police were dispatched to Walmart after receiving a report of an ongoing theft. The suspect was identified as a woman who concealed merchandise on her person. Upon arrival at the scene, officers confirmed everything through surveillance footage. So what do what do we got? Um I haven't identified her yet. She took this so far. I'm pretty sure she's sticking more. That's the only thing I saw. Where she at? She's right here near HBA. She's right here in this corner. Okay. So where did she put that? She for sure already Yeah she so she just took the the actual dye. She tossed the box over there in toys. Which one was it? The one with the red or the >> The beanie. Beanie. I know she's trespassed I just I I don't know her name. Okay. >> I remember cuz of her tattoo but I I'm trying to get them identified. In the market but I want her to stop it. All right we'll just go in like two three more minutes before we How long have they been here walking? Uh I'd say they they came in around 10 minutes ago. So like a 14. Where did she put the the hair stuff? The conditioner conditioner? Yeah it's in her pocket. Actually I appreciate she has more stuff which is she was in cosmetics. In the last aisle. She was just going at it. I just couldn't see cuz we don't have a camera. And you don't know her name either right the one that's stealing? No I don't. So for sure she just has one thing right now right unless you think she has something That I know for sure yeah she's got but I appreciate she might have more than something. You want to wait for the search? Somebody wants to go. Um That's on that side right? This is on GM side so it'll be on the other side. Okay. Any gloves? No. All right. Thus all the wrongdoing had become clear. Immediately after that the police approached the woman. It seems she was not surprised by the officers' next actions. All right. Did you put something in your pocket right now? My phone. What else you got in the other pocket? My earphones. Okay cool. You're going to be detained for now okay? All right okay. Cool be careful. Thank you. Not too tight? No. What what's your personal stuff from here? Huh? What should I take out first? My jacket. Just the jacket? Okay you want to give me those things in your house? Okay all right let's go. I'm not going to do a full search on you thank you. I just put them in there okay. What's that? I said I didn't I didn't even notice that I had put them in there. Okay. We'll talk to you in a bit. Um can I can I can I call my boyfriend? I was going to buy a We'll do it we'll do it right now. Where she at? You guys were together? Huh? Where she at? You guys were together? I don't know somewhere in here. Oh okay. And that guy? It could be seen that she implicitly admitted her actions without any shame and when taken to the loss prevention office she further clarified additional details. Uh so we're going to do like a pat down search cuz you're technically under arrest right now for that shoplifting right? Um you don't have anything else on you before we find it? No okay. Where did you put the the whatever that is I don't know if it's like hair dye or whatever. Cuz you took it out of that box and had it in your pocket. It's in the in the pocket. In the pocket of on you or in there? In the jacket. Okay is there anything else in the jacket? >> No. No okay. Did you take anything else before just that? Okay. And we were asking you earlier that lady who is she you said she's your girlfriend? Yeah. And the guy the one that passed us I couldn't hear the noise. He's just random guy? Yeah. Okay. I'll go talk to him. Really are your pockets just empty? The woman did not simply take the items. The reason she was easily detected was that she had already opened the products which made it difficult for the officers to verify exactly what she had taken. You don't have anything inside your pockets or anything? What's that tattoo? Uh I don't Where did she put the actual brush? The brush? I have the brush in there in the basket. Okay. This is good stuff. This is a Revlon This is a piece of artwork. No it's brand. So this is Can you just get me a receipt for now cuz was there anything else? This is all her stuff. Okay cool thanks bro. It was noticeable that the woman kept fidgeting and could not sit still as if she was under the influence of something. In addition officers quickly discovered that this was not her first time being involved in wrongful behavior. Phone number is there? They refused to extradite me. Yeah that's probably not but you still have the other ones. I have what? Three other warrants? For what? Uh two for shoplifting one for criminal trespass. I was just in locked up. Oh well that's what they just said on we can confirm and then if they say then they messed up then we'll be good to go okay? I was just in jail. When? Like barely like a week and a half ago. Okay for what? The same thing? Um well no. Okay. These ones are >> they didn't bring them up here. Or they are assisting. On the computer they're showing 45 43. Okay that's it. Did you get arrested here? Huh? Did you get arrested here or where? >> I was they brought me from El Paso. So you got arrested in El Paso and they brought you here or you were arrested here and they took you No that was in El Paso and they the guy came and picked me up. Okay. Cool. Okay. So I was just going to give you a citation but if they confirm these warrants then we're going to have to take you to jail okay? Is there anything that you want to leave with your girlfriend? I mean we can call her and then leave stuff with her. >> is in there. Your what? My phone. Okay and this jacket do you want to take it or leave it cuz they're probably just going to put it in a bag and put it in Um yeah leave it in there. Okay and your beanie? I'll leave it to him. Okay. Do you want a hair brush? Yeah. I'm going to leave it with him also. Thanks. I'm good to go then. Um they have me arrested up here in the front so can you come and get my things? Hold on a second. At this point the police decided to take the woman away and disappointingly there was no sign of remorse shown until the very end. Don't forget your bag and your stuff back there right now. Yeah just uh stand up. Do you need a seat in your unit? Yeah. All right here you go. Left side of the back seat. You're going to go to the left. Yeah pull up. Perfect. Okay so wait before they come to your search look it's empty right? So if there's anything back there that shouldn't be back there it's going to be yours okay? You have anything in the car or is it All right should I go and sit by her We have a female officer here that's going to search her okay? You can just face the unit right there. You got anything in your pockets that's going to poke me or stick me? Once I approach your feet. The woman was charged with shoplifting along with additional consequences due to her prior warrants including previous shoplifting offenses and criminal trespass. Repeated wrongdoing without accountability only leads to harsher consequences and refusing to learn from past mistakes will eventually close off every second chance. Next this entitled woman believed that no one could stop her. Stop. >> Stop resisting. >> What the I'm literally reporting What are you doing? Let go of me. Did that make you feel better? Dude don't touch me. >> Can I read you your rights now? On February 28th 2026 officers received a call from Walmart reporting a woman who had committed theft and failed to pay. She was even believed to have engaged in similar behavior before. Even when she was stopped she had already prepared excuses for herself. Hey police department okay? I paid for everything. Okay we're not even detaining you. I paid for everything. >> Put your phone down. I paid for everything. Put your phone down. But I paid for everything. Okay. 6700 Is there anybody available there? I paid for everything. Okay well we watched you on camera not pay for light bulbs. >> Yes I did. >> Yes. And then Yes I did. Look again. Yeah it's not paid. I watched it. Okay, I paid for everything. I paid for everything. Well, I don't We'll figure it out, but right now you're being detained. For what? I paid for >> I told you that. But I paid for everything. Okay, I'm telling you right now I watched it. We've watched it. We have it on cameras. That's fine if you feel that way. I did. Okay, that's fine if you feel that way. Right now you're not free to leave though. But I paid for everything. You can keep saying that all you want. >> for everything. Well, we'll check your receipts then. Check then. Where? So, check then. We're doing that right now. So, do that. Well, right now you're not free to leave though. I just showed them to you. Come over here. No, I paid for everything. Don't touch me like that. No, I'm not I'm standing right here. No, stop. You're going to get more charges for resisting. I have a broken wrist. I have a metal plate in my wrist. No, I didn't do anything. She appeared confident as she denied all suspicions, but her tone and repeated wording revealed a more suspicious sense of anxiety and fear, even making things more difficult for the officers. I have a metal plate in my arm. Stop. I'm going to give you more charges for resisting if you don't stop right now. >> I didn't even steal. Okay. Hey. I didn't even do anything. Hey, put your hands behind your back. I didn't do anything. I paid for everything. Okay, we'll figure it out, okay? Oh, you don't have to twist my I have a broken I have a broken wrist. Stop doing that. Stop. >> Stop resisting. What the I'm literally reporting What are you doing? Let go of me, you psychopath. Put your hands behind your Don't ever touch me like that again. Okay, stop resisting. >> crazy. 67 has one. Okay, we're going to walk out to my car. Okay, can I get my phone? I'll get We will get your phone. It's in the car. I didn't I didn't take anything. Hey, Lori, we're going to go over here. What the hell? I literally paid for everything. Like I said, I watched you on camera. Okay, you saw me ring up multiple transactions. I did. Okay. So, why would I not ring up three or four like What do you mean? I don't feel comfortable with you guys touching me. >> Okay, that's fine. We're going to search you, okay? >> That's fine. I don't give you consent. I want a woman I want a woman No, because of how you guys handled me, I want a woman officer. >> have any female officers. >> So, I don't give you consent. I do not give you consent to touch me. Don't touch me. The woman did everything she could to stubbornly resist the officers' actions, even invoking her own civil rights in the process. For theft. I didn't steal. >> Okay, yes, you did. I watched >> I don't give you consent I want a woman officer. You're against the No, it's my right. Okay. So, don't touch me. No, I do not give you consent. I swear to God, do not touch me. I know my rights. You're not allowed to touch me. Okay. So, you can't have this conversation again. This is going to happen. I want a woman officer. I don't want you to touch me. You hurt me. We don't have any female officers. >> wrong. Too bad. I It's my right. So, right now you're under arrest. No, I'm not. I didn't steal. No, I'm not. No, I'm not. Yes, please. insane. Negative. What's your name? Lori. Lori what? So, it's not your right to tell us we can't search you when you have something on >> is to have a woman officer. I am allowed to legally request one. We have our sergeant here and he's going to be >> him. We are waiting for an officer. >> Great. Can I sit down? You're not going to sit down in here because we can't search you and I don't know what happened. So, if you allow us to search you, I'll put you in the back of my car to sit down. >> want you touching me. You guys already hurt me. Do you have the items? We have everything in the car over there. There's three items I believe it's game. That's not true. So, here's the thing. You can't have those until the judge. He He told you you're under arrest. He He's going to be searching you. That's right. The sergeant is going to come here and he's >> I want someone else who isn't an [ __ ] who touched me like you did. So, don't talk to me. Thank you. Okay. I don't need you to. Thank you. You hurt me. You hurt me for no reason. Thank you. You're abusing your authority and that's not right. You abused your authority and that's not right. To use that kind of force, was that necessary? Did that make you feel better? She clearly knew what she was doing as if this wasn't her first time dealing with the police. Yet moments later, she began to act as though she were the victim. But I can't have a male search But I'm not It's not my It's my right. I need a woman >> Everything's being recorded. >> that. That's fine. That's fine. You can record me. So, I don't know why you kept the need to tell me that again. >> We tell people to sit their way. But you told me like four times now. Cuz you keep saying we're not allowed to search you and so we're saying we're recording. Nothing's happening. So, what? But except were you recording when that officer like hurt me? >> That's Both of our My camera was on. >> Okay, using excessive force when I wasn't So, so I did tell you to stop resisting multiple I wasn't resisting. You told me to go against the wall. And then I told you to turn around and face the wall and you wouldn't. >> the wall and I did. >> No, you didn't. And then you grabbed me and then he grabbed me 10 times harder. >> not going to talk about that. >> harder and he didn't need to. Okay, well, I can look into that part of it. No, you won't. It hurt. That wasn't me. You can talk to my sergeant about that. >> hurt and it was unnecessary. So, talk to my sergeant about it if you have concerns. That that I can't do anything about that. I'm not He twisted my arm back further than you needed to and he hurt me really bad even after I said to stop. What was your reaction? >> I have metal plates in my wrists and that it just hurts. Okay, I can I can review the body cameras and all that stuff and then I'll look into that. All right, as far as So, what is the So, you're under arrest for? She's under arrest for theft and obstruction of justice. >> anything. I paid for everything. I have receipts. Did you recover the property or anything? Yeah, we have it. I paid I I watched I watched them take the What about the things that I paid for? You can have those back or they'll reimburse you. How? It was cash. It could be seen from her statement that she had indirectly admitted to only paying for part of the items. At that point, the officers did not let things drag on any longer and continued their duties despite the rising tension. I'm not searching I'm trying to pull up my pants. Don't touch me. No, don't touch me. Don't touch me. No, you don't get to touch me. No, get the away from me. Don't touch me. No. So, okay, lift that up for a second. You got So, nothing through here? No, I was pulling up my pants. So, he said something in your front left pocket that I have money. That's it, dollars. That's it, dollars. I have dollars. Just dollars? Yes. Literally dollars. Okay. We're going to walk to the side of the car. Can you like not knock me around here? This hurt Well, it's not so >> Because I didn't do anything. So, like I told you, you're not being compliant with us, so that's why we're making this decision at this time. >> I not? Cuz I don't want you to touch me? I have a metal plate. I get I can loosen this one a little bit. Let me I'm going to need to see your hand over here. Can you push your legs that way a little bit? Thank you. I'll loosen this one, okay? Can you let go of your fingers while I'm loosening it? I don't want to hurt your hand more. You really you tightened it. I didn't. I loosened it and then clicked it a couple more. It's But it Can I loosen it? >> okay, well, they're loose. I can get two fingers in there. Look at Face forward. You have to turn around now. She believed she had more right to be angry at the officers than to feel remorse for her actions and only after arriving at the police station did she begin to accept reality. Talk now. If I read you your rights again, do you want to talk about what we found in your pants in your pocket? If I read you your rights You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. Do you understand each of these rights as I've read them to you? Having these rights in mind, do you wish to talk to me now? The meth we found in your pants Remember I told you about that? You can tell us about it or it's felony charge. Did you get your meth in Auburn or you getting it somewhere else? From Auburn. Auburn? Okay. Do you want to talk about it if I do it on body camera so no one can ever hear about it? Yes. Okay, it's for your safety and my safety. She was charged with third degree theft, obstructing a law enforcement officer, and possession of a controlled substance. Actions driven by denial and defiance only make consequences worse. Taking responsibility early can prevent a situation from escalating beyond control. Worse, this woman became even more brazen. What's that? You're taking me to jail for real? You have a warrant for your arrest. It's There's a lighter leash on the Come on, you guys, please. I really promise you I'm not trying to be I'm not trying to be an ass. I'm not trying to be On December 15th, officers received a report from Target about a woman known for repeated shoplifting and upon arrival, the suspect had already been taken to the loss prevention office, prompting police to act immediately. Hi, how you doing? Put everything down. Hey, hey, put everything down. Put everything down. Put your bag down. Okay, put your bag down. Am I being arrested? Yes, you're under arrest. For what? It's okay. You got a DOC warrant. Okay? Relax. We ain't We're not confirming yet, so everything is recorded on video and video, okay? Where's that Where's that sling bag going? But listen, I don't have anything. Okay. Okay. All My keys are in there. Yes. My car's out of gas. What kind of gas is it? I don't know. I'll talk to Madam to arrange for you. I don't know anything. Why did you guys have to take me to jail? What's that? You had a warrant for real? Yeah, but a warrant for your arrest. Said no bail warrant, ma'am. Everything >> You had no clue you had that warrant? No, I I wasn't sure, honestly, because I had uh >> you're rolling the dice then, right? Well, yeah. Well, I I guess. I guess I wasn't sure because I Then you're under arrest for your warrant, okay? Anything you want to quote me or write me down here? It was clear that she showed no remorse for her own offenses, and even in today's incident, she began to deflect and deny it altogether. I'm telling you guys they messed up. If I didn't scan something, it was total accident. And everyone could see me scanning. You could see me scanning everything. The mop was the first thing that I scanned, and he said I didn't scan it. Watch the camera. Clearly watch the camera. I shop all the time at Target. Have you been arrested for shoplifting? Never. Ever? Not in your life? Never. I was 12. Okay. And I'm 42. You never Why start now, right? No, that's not what I was doing. I got two to a man. I'm telling you, please watch the >> Hey, can can you just listen to this for a minute? >> Yeah, you go watch the You have the right to remain silent. That's all And have a representation here card ticket switch That's what she did. She did a switch all the all the dollar items. Except this way. twice twice this guy scanning, but she's scanning all the products. And the same thing I scanned it twice. Ma'am, do you understand the right there right there? Okay. I scanned everything. And then at the end, what I didn't get, you see me set it on the counter when I walked out because I didn't pay for it. The pet The two little pairs of pajamas, doggie pajamas, so those ones I paid for. So, she insisted she had scanned everything, but when officers questioned specific items she hadn't paid for, she gave a different answer. So, you're telling me all those LEGOs they I don't I I can't hear you. So, you're telling me the LEGOs, the Amber Cup in the back No, wait, that's what I scanned. There's something that that mice and LEGOs, but that was it. That's it, and I told you guys that it might have been It was a mistake if I missed anything. Everything I scanned >> Okay. All right, yeah. Even the stuff that cost you more than the LEGOs I scanned. Okay. All right, how much was the scanned items versus the unscanned items? >> What do you mean? I didn't unscanned nothing. If I So, the whole vacuum scanned in as 99 cents, and I don't think they sell vacuums for 99 cents. Ma'am, let me tell you something, okay? These guys are professional. Everything was 99 cents. Ma'am, I'm going to tell you something, and you have the right to dispute it in court, okay? All right, here. These guys are professional. They arrest shoplifters 10 50 times a year. Okay, but for you to scan a vacuum cleaner that comes out 99 cents I didn't even pay attention to what it scanned out as. I was just scanning it. That's where we're trying to meet here halfway, okay? I don't care. Well, okay. I'll tell you what. I'm going to give you a break for not being stop feeling. You're not being booked for your theft charges. But you are under arrest for your warrant. We have We have probable cause to arrest for your warrant. You're going to jail for your warrant. Let's go. It seemed the woman knew no shame as she chose to argue rather than show any remorse. And even when her denial failed, her attitude still showed she couldn't accept it. consequences, right? Of doing all this stuff. So, let let's not start trying to ask for all these favors when you put us in this position. I don't want to be here. Okay. Okay. Can I keep all your daughter for you? Yes. Yes. No, because if you smoke a cigarette, I quit for 20 years, and I want to smoke a cigarette, too. No, you'll be out tomorrow. No, I know I won't. Hell no. How many DLC you have? I don't know. I It's It's crazy. I didn't even think I was still on I wasn't even sure if I was still on it because I had I got my felony lowered, and all this other other stuff happened. What is your car? Um okay, one more row over to the right where that white car is. It's a white Corolla. It might be one more after that. Yeah, but way towards the back. It It's either that truck or the white or the white truck is the one next to it. Is somebody else in the car? >> No, nobody else. I'm just asking a question. It's a question we ask. Her frustration with the officers became increasingly evident, and her brazen selfishness continued throughout the entire encounter. Then You know, there's in in Let's go on that side cuz the seatbelt That is That is side That is side. Let's go on that side. Can you please let me go on this? I didn't steal nothing. Please, cigarette. I just want to get my legit license and insurance. I just want to go home. Can we take this earrings, the big earrings? Is that something we could take off? Yeah. Yeah, how do I un unclip this? >> just lifts up. The back The back just lifts up? Like the back just You see the Ouch. Yeah, there. Just pull it out. Pull it out? >> Yeah, after you unhook the You lift the thing up off the back, and you Hey, officer, can you help me with the earrings and the lights? You got to pull it all the way back until you'll feel when it stops. Yeah, that's right. We'll take it to jail. Now it's pinching my ear, though. Sorry. Your purse and everything went inside there. Wait, wait, where's the key fob? I have it right here. Can you come down? Jeez. Okay, you see the cigarette in the middle up there underneath the radio kind of? You're not going to drink a Dr. Pepper. Well, then maybe you shouldn't have been smoking a cigarette, dude. There's no slider. Where's your lighter? It's on my purse. God, jeez. It's There's a lighter leash on the Come on, you guys, please. I really promise you I'm not trying to be I'm not trying to be an ass. I'm not going to get pulled. I just don't want to go to jail. No bail, no city warrant. They want you. Judge Hey, we have a warrant. Judge writes off on it. I don't even I don't even have a car list. I don't even do anything anymore. Now, step out cuz I don't want smoke in my car. The woman was taken into custody on her felony warrant and charged with retail theft. Starting with this shameless, deflecting shoplifter, her actions showed that refusing to take responsibility only made the consequences far worse. In the next case, everything seemed to be a story built entirely on lies. And I don't see it. Okay. She saw that she has her money and all that stuff, but she's missing her credit card and all that stuff. On the 28th of February, 2023, officers approached a woman after receiving reports that she had been the victim of a wallet theft at Costco. At that moment, they carefully listened as she recounted what had happened. All right, ma'am. Um can you just tell me to exactly what happened? Uh what happened? I was here, and I I told police. Mhm. And then I went to the grocery store cuz I want to get something for the grocery store. Yeah. And in the meantime, I went to the grocery store. Mhm. So, a guy buy something. Yeah. And And then I pulled my card, and I want to buy the same thing he have. If he bought it Okay. And he went and complained to the cashier, and what he complained about food or whatever. But in the meantime, when I get I went to get the same thing he have in the in there cuz that's what I was looking for. Right. So, I went there. I took it, and in the meantime, I took I took my wallet down there. Down by where the product? >> Where is the product I was I put it right there. And the same time he come to to change whatever he had wrong. Okay. And he took my And then he just grabbed it. Okay. I don't see Did you Did you see him grab it? >> No, I don't see it. Okay, you didn't see him grab it. So, a man had been behind the incident. That same day, officers located the suspect, but it seemed he had a story ready to justify himself. You know better than that, right? >> Yeah. car, so I Yeah. No, no, no, this is what happened. We went in, we bought liquor, came out, and he was like, "Yeah, go grab another one." I said, "Okay." And then I came back in, I grabbed one, but the handle was broken. I went back to the uh cashier. I was like, "Can I grab another one?" He was like, "Yeah, sure." Because the pin was out. So, I went in and grabbed it, and I saw a wallet. I thought it was hers cuz we went in there split second. Okay. So, I thought it was hers, so then we hopped on the highway. I was like, and she was like, "Where's my card?" I gave it back to her. She was like, "Wait, this is not mine." So, we I don't know. I thought I had left it there. Okay. So, that's it. That was it. And then I didn't mentally take it cuz I didn't know if it was hers or not, so that's why I was like, "Okay, give it back to her." But Okay. >> That's all. All righty. Besides that. Yeah. The The only thing is um I'm going to have you just wait here cuz I need her to get here as well. She's already on her way. >> Okay, that's cool. Uh and then from there we would reset, okay? Okay. Yeah, because uh we went, and then we was on the highway. She was like, "We have to go back." And he was like, "Well, we have to pick up the kids." That's why. Okay. All righty. You just wait in your car, and then I'll be I'll be with you in a second. >> see your ID or anything? >> I will in a second. Just I have to give her a call. No problem. Okay. How long have you been staying here in Clearwater for? Uh a few weeks. Oh, not Clearwater, uh Brandon. All right, Brandon, yeah. A few weeks. Okay. Shortly after, officers returned the wallet to the victim and checked to see whether anything was missing. And I don't see it, though. She did it there. Okay, but if I miss it, though, okay, they hold me Okay. Okay, yeah. Okay. Okay. Okay, perfecto. No, no. Okay. Okay, see it's okay. See, see. See, see. Okay. See, see, okay. I understand completely. Okay, perfecto. Returning to the man, taking someone else's bag, even if he claimed it was a mistake, had no evidence proving it wasn't intentional. Therefore, officers made their decision. Then I'm also going to go inside and try to figure out what what she wants. Like I said, these can come off the same way they come on. >> Yeah. Yeah, I'll I'll give her all the information. Do you have anything on your person that's illegal or coffee? No, I just know while I'm on the left side. Okay, this is just face this way. Widen your stance. And I can't find Okay. Let me give her the information first and then I'll I'll come and talk to you, okay? Okay. Do you want to hold on to your hat or want me to pop it off? I'm fine. I can hold on to Okay. You want to check if there's anything with you? No, it's up to you. That's okay. Before he was taken away, a woman believed to be his relative appeared, and it seemed she also had a story to justify his actions. So, are you aware of like what happened? Okay. Okay. Okay. So, and then that's that's the thing, too. So, um What what's going to end up happening he he's going to go to county and I'm going to give you the address and all that stuff. >> Okay. He'll go through processing there and then from there you'll probably get like a bond or something like that that he can just pay and and get out, okay? Okay. I'm not 100% sure how the entire process goes, but I'll give you the address so then that way you can follow the van down there, too, and be able to take it. So, it's over off the 49th Street. Okay, yeah. I'll I'll give you Yeah. Officers had to verify once again whether this had truly been an intentional act of theft as certain details they received made them doubt it was merely a mistake. Okay. All right. Inside the purse, so there was a a license and credit card and things like that. So, the issue that we're having, the only reason why she's moving forward with these charges is just because she you know, she saw that she has her money and all that stuff, but she's missing her credit card and all that information. So, that's why I'm like, "Hey, dude, like if you toss it, it's easier to explain that maybe when you toss it, the cards fell out, case closed." No, I just left it in the car. No, that was it. I don't know. Okay. So, and you don't you have no idea if this credit card could have possibly fell or anything? >> No, I just picked it up and then well, once I opened it, it was like, "No, that ain't my aunt." It was like, "No, that's not her." So, then we was like, "Okay." Yeah. And then we had nobody to call, so we was like, "Pick up the kids first." And then we were already on the highway. Okay. Yeah. Okay. All righty. All right, that's fine. All right, just waiting for another officer to get here, but like I said, that's the only thing. I'm going to give your aunt all the information. She's going to follow you, so that way when you get to booking, you get the processing over and quick with and then you'll you'll be out of there as quickly as possible, okay? >> Okay, but she's worried about her credit cards. So, it's her license, her credit cards, her membership card at Costco, which is completely missing. It's a few items from the purse that's missing. >> Yeah, but credit card if someone swipes it, you can bank it down. Say it again. If someone swipes the credit card, you'll know. Yeah, but the thing is that the person hasn't used it. In the end, he was charged with theft of property, but the charge was later dismissed in court. A careless mistake could still carry serious consequences. Always return what isn't yours immediately because actions mattered more than excuses. Next, the woman showed no sign of remorse at all. Hi, how are you? How you doing? You mind coming to talk to me for a second? On June 6th, 2024, the police received a report from a Costco store after a theft had occurred. The suspect was believed to be a woman who had continuously slipped through aisles, forcing the police to organize a search. You want to stay here and then we'll go or you guys you guys want to stay here? Yeah, I'll go check the actual office. Yeah, but they can I can at least relay information on where they might be at. >> Yeah, that works. So, I guess the kids he's he's going to accuse the diamond. Yeah, so Yeah, she speaks Spanish. You habla español? Oh, okay. After some time, the police eventually located the suspect at the wine section, and her reaction suggested that she had not been surprised by their presence at all. Hello. Hi, how are you? How you doing? You mind coming to talk to me for a second? You mind coming to talk to me for a second? All right, grab your bag. You can leave the car here. You can leave the car here. Just grab your bag. Where's your office? All right, let's go over there. We're going to go Where's your office? All right, come on over here. Come on. You don't speak English? No, okay. We're going to go over here. Spanish? No, no. Nothing. She don't speak English? Immediately after successfully locating the woman, the loss prevention officer provided a brief statement about what had happened. So, so I was patrolling the area. I was down 136 area for our foods. I saw her conceal the female version of the razor blades and two aisles down I saw her conceal our Gillette version of razor blades, all of which we can Okay. I can see it from here. The store has been having problems with shoplifting for months across in various Costcos in the area. Okay. So, you you already have her to Not really. You start on property receipt for this? Uh yeah, property receipts and stuff. Do you have Can you start on property receipt for this? Oh, we'll pull them out and sign them. It was clear that her face showed no trace of guilt as she returned the items she had concealed, and the employee also made several observations before proceeding to press charges against her. South Florida? Everybody's been having issues with her returning stuff. And then did it do the same thing? So, that's what I mean. >> In fact, the woman fully understood English. So, the officers quickly carried out the final procedures before letting her go. In the end, she only received a trespass order and waited for her court date. And aside from that, she was still considered innocent until that time. Actions always carry consequences, and even small acts of theft can lead to serious legal trouble. So, taking responsibility and making better choices early can prevent bigger problems later. Even more audaciously, the man showed no shame about his theft. On the 21st of February, 2025, police received a report from a convenience store about a theft that had occurred, with the suspect believed to be an employee who had taken donated charity money from the store. For more details, listen to the store manager's statement. Is there a back door to this? Either you or Pedro stand outside and make sure nobody goes out the back door. So, like right here. So, like right here, on the second, $20. Are you going to make copies of these? While officers were speaking with the store manager, the man in the red shirt, identified as the suspect, appeared noticeably nervous, lingering nearby as he tried to figure out what was going on. Hey, can you give us just a second, man? I just we're dealing with the manager, so we don't want anybody coming back here. Can you Thank you so much. What you want me to do? Can you Are you working out there? Are you working in here? Both. Okay. All right, never mind. Never mind. I thought you were supposed Never mind. Let's uh Can you stay here and just grab all the information? So, so hey, we're going to we'll put him up in Okay. Okay. So, what's his first name? Patrick. Patrick. What's his last name? Dunbar. He had no idea that his actions had already been exposed. And at that moment, officers approached him to begin handling the situation. Hey, Patrick. Hey, um we have some questions to ask you. You mind coming with us down to the station real quick? Why not? To the station? Yeah, to our station, just to talk to some of the detectives. So, not saying you did anything or didn't do anything, but you may be aware of something that we're investigating. So, we just want to talk to you, okay? You come with us? Can I get my things? What do you got? My jacket and my stuff. You need your jacket? Yeah, sure. Hey, can I call you right back? I think fine. Got ID on your person? Yeah, I do. I was trying to say I was just because I just came back from being off work. So, them tacos in there. We'll get all that. And my best I'm I'm I'm sure what's going on. What's up, buddy? I said I'm not sure what's going on. I know. So, like I said, not saying you did anything or didn't do anything. You might not even be related into what we're uh what we want to know about. So, somebody just said that you might have some information on The man moved sluggishly, as if he were deliberately trying to gauge what the officers intended to do to him. And even when he was let outside, he continued acting the same way. All right. So, you're not going in handcuffs or anything like that, cuz obviously you're not under arrest right now, okay? Our guys just want to talk to you. But, anytime we we'll we'll be right over here in this car. But, anytime we put somebody in our car, we we like to just check and make sure they don't have anything that's going to hurt us. You okay if I search you real quick? Just make sure that you don't have any weapons. Like I said, man, you're not in trouble. I'm just >> I'm not worried about being in trouble. I have a drink of math. A drink? What kind of drink? It was like a pop. >> That's it? >> It's a therapy uh uh uh Oh, okay. I got you, man. I was sick. How you feeling now? I'm all right. That's why I came to work. Good, dude. Were you Did you miss a couple days or no? I got to take the rest right here. Yeah, that's fine. Okay. So, I Patrick, like I said, you're not under arrest. Uh-huh. Detectives just want to talk to you to see if you have information about something that they're investigating, okay? I don't know what they're investigating. Is it concerning this store? I'm not sure, but they'll they'll explain it to you once we During the ride to the station, officers shared a few observations about the case, suggesting that the situation was far from simple. The manager at the store called us and said, "Hey, this guy is uh when customers come up to the register, he's like, 'Oh, do you want to donate however much money to the whatever charity?'" They're like, "Oh, yeah, sure. I'll throw some money at the whatever charity." And so, he takes their money, and then after they leave, he issues a refund for the donation, and then just pockets it. And so, uh he's done this numerous times. Basically, he's taking money on that he's putting into uh Speedway's ledgers, and then he's taking it from the Speedway. So, So, yeah, victims could be numerous people or What? Uh I believe, like I said, I wasn't there for this part of the interview. I'm pretty sure he puts it in the cash register, and then they leave, and then he issues a refund and he takes it out of the cash register. Yeah, like somebody returns a product. Like they say, "Oh, yeah, sure. I'll give you this donation." Because he's got to give them a receipt. He's got to give them a receipt that makes this person seem that they gave they gave a legitimate like Yes. Okay. He ultimately faced felony theft charges for systematically stealing charity donations entrusted to him. He thought he could quietly exploit the system without being noticed, but repeated dishonest actions always leave a trail sooner or later. The truth catches up, and the consequences become unavoidable. What do you think about cases like this? This situation showed that refusing to cooperate and acting entitled only turned a minor mistake into more serious consequences. If you wanted to witness something even more unhinged, you then met this woman. Are you threatening to kill me, officer? Are you threatening to kill me? Now, we're going to sit still for this search. On March 31, police were dispatched after receiving a report that a woman attempted to steal from CVS pharmacy and then fled the scene. When officers made contact, she initially appeared calm and cooperative, but a sudden twist waited just ahead. Just slow down, ma'am. Hey, how you doing? How you doing today? Well, Okay. You're under federal investigation. You shouldn't even be touching me. I totally understand. Relax. Relax. I'm not hype. Why are you fidgeting around, then? Just relax. Just sit still. She's got the pocket knife on her. I pulled it off of her. She's a 67. Federal investigation. Nah, just that we're under federal investigation. >> Yeah, victim indicates 100%. She She said she was walking around. Obviously, she was using her ID, so They stole all my items. Stole. Over the radio, officers confirmed she was the woman they were looking for, yet the one refusing to accept that reality appeared to be her. I don't have The knife was it, sir. Doesn't matter. You're under arrest. So, now you're being searched. I'm not under arrest. Yeah, you are. Watch how I return. You don't have to take my wallet, sir. Like I said, you'll see how it will I'm sorry. Are you going to kill me like you did Floyd? Get me up off the ground. Are you going to kill me like you did Floyd? >> trying to search you and we're going >> can't breathe. You have to move me. If you can talk, you can breathe. Yeah, that's what they did to Floyd and he killed him. Same pockets, back pocket trainer. She clearly knew that everything she was doing only added more charges, yet she did not care at all as her obstructive behavior showed no sign of stopping. Let's go. Pick me up. You're under federal investigation. Sticking a what? A break. So, how did we get that? You tell me. It's on It's on our way. You're under arrest for possession of a weapon with unlawful purpose and criminal mischief. That's what you're being charged That's what you're being charged with. You'll be put in the car and we're not going to argue about it. That's your charges. For what though? I can't carry a knife in a You'll You'll get a copy of the report. >> I can't carry You get a copy of the report when it's done. Who says What What legal says I can't carry No, it's the way you utilized the knife by damaging property. Okay, have a seat. Shortly afterward, officers proceeded to search the items inside the woman's pockets. Anything that he's done with, I'm just throwing in here. She's homeless. I'm sure if you run her name in our master, she's in there. She's got to be. What's her name? Yeah, if anyone knows, the Charlotte does. Is this her wallet? Yeah, it's hers. She um when I made contact with her, I just asked, "Have you been walking around at all or been around?" She's like, "Yeah, I've been back and forth." And I said, "Do you have any knives on you?" And then she went to go pull it out of her pocket and I said, "No, don't don't pull it out of your pocket. I'll Then I told her to stand up and then she wanted to resist a little bit, just passively. We just handcuffed her, but then once we started once we got the knife and you gave a positive ID and we told her she was under arrest and did started do a thorough search before we put her in there, she started kicking, flailing around. We had to take her down to the ground. Nothing crazy, just she was kicking her feet, so I had to grab her legs and hold her legs down while they continued to pat her down. I want to make sure she had no knives on her before she went in the car. But The woman was charged with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, obstructing justice, and aggravated menacing. Refusing to accept responsibility and escalating a situation only turns a minor incident into serious criminal charges. Next, we move on to this deceitful woman. And I was like, "Wait a minute, my purse gone." And I went to turned around, went in the car wash, and it was gone. What the [ __ ] is going on? This is all my [ __ ] I was actually doing the right thing. On January 7th, the police received a call from a woman reporting her purse stolen at a car wash. Upon arrival, the victim provided some information about the suspect involved. And I left because my phone kept going off saying that the car was being used right here at Wally's and but when I got here, the man said that it was the one down the street and I went down there. They got a lot of cameras in there, but the man said that they can't watch the cameras till after 3:00. Did you turn the car off? Yeah, I turned the I did. I turned the car off, but my social security card is in my purse and my driver's license and I just got a job, so they're waiting on my background check and stuff. But there was a lady at that car wash when I was there this morning. It was before 8:00. And she looked like she might have been homeless, white girl. Um and she was changing clothes in the car, so I I know she was homeless. But my purse is yellow. And you're going to notice a yellow bag just sitting over there. Time I turned around and went back, she was gone, my purse was gone. All right. You got your You don't have your ID, do you? I don't have nothing. I'm driving I'm riding dirty right now. All right, what's your first name? >> I know my my information though. What's your first name? Casey, c a s e y. The victim expressed clear suspicion, even providing reasoning for suspecting the individual was homeless while recounting the events that had occurred. Oh, it was sitting between the vacuum cleaners at the car at the car wash. I was backing my car out and I drove off and I turned around to go back to get it, she was gone, the purse was gone. Like I literally turned right back around. But I think she must be homeless because she was in like a SUV, like a red SUV and it had a bunch of stuff in it, like clothes, curtains. She had the the curtains and stuff covering the car so she could change her clothes. And the the the SUV that she's pulling I mean that she's driving is pulling a trailer with like some lawn care stuff on the back of it. I'm almost certain that girl got my stuff. Thank you. I went down there, they said that the cameras can't be watched until after 3:00. Is that the Wally's though? Yeah, that's where it was. Thank you. All right, um what color was the SUV? Red. Like a burgundy red color. I would say burgundy. Okay. What's she look like? White girl, white girl. I can't remember the color of her hair. She got blonde hair. White girl, blonde hair, dirty cuz she looked dirty. What was she wearing? I don't remember what she was wearing cuz she was like kind of behind the other set of vacuum cleaners. I couldn't see what she was wearing. Okay. >> got blonde hair. >> And I was the only person out there? That was the only person I'm telling you, it was early. My son had a haircut appointment. >> this? What time was this? Probably like 7:00 something. In the 7:30 area. More seriously, the victim suspected that the purse theft had a deliberate purpose, noting certain behaviors that raised red flags. She had my Target card. Oh my god, I need to turn that card off. >> credit card? Hell yeah. It's my Target credit card. And what else? Um my Target card is in there. All of my credit cards, my my Capital One credit card. That's the card she tried to use. She not tried to use my Cash App card or she, he, whoever. They tried to use the Cash App Capital One and they tried to use my Wells Fargo card. So, Capital One, Cash App, and Wells Fargo? Uh-huh, and it's a SRP card in there. I don't know why I locked that one cuz that's where I keep majority of my money in. She literally >> Is it Are these Wells Are these credit cards or debit cards? Deb. Capital One card and the Target card are credit cards. So, you said she tried to use She tried to use the Cash App one already for $175. Mhm. She tried to use the Capital One card already. And she tried to use the Wells Fargo card. And it's it's still showing at Wally's. Let me see. See it? I I I um I cut the card off already. She Wally's in Hattiesburg. This is Wally's and there's a Wally's down there. 6101 uh 7101 or 7103? Shortly after, the police quickly located the vehicle described by the victim. The items found inside confirmed that it was indeed the car they were looking for. Yeah, it's a older model burgundy SUV with a trailer. What appears to be a bunch of junk in it, but no tag. Female Yellow purse by chance? 10-4. Does the yellow purse say "The Tote Bag" on it? A short time later, the police approached the suspect at a nearby house where she appeared completely bewildered by the unfolding situation. Hey, how you doing? Can you come on and talk to me? Yes. I just stepped out here for me. Okay. All right, I have a question. Um who's the Who drives that burgundy SUV? I do. Okay. You want to step in up front for me? We got her right here. Uh no, ma'am. Um, this is in reference to a theft that happened at the car wash. No, I just found No, no, no, no. I just found a lady's tote bag. >> Okay. And um everything is still in it. Okay. And it's right in my passenger seat. Okay. Yes. Um Everything is still in it. I was Her name was Casey and I was going to get in contact with her as soon as I got here. This happened probably an hour ago. Did anybody else touch this bag? Not that I'm aware of. There was a Mexican guy in there. He was wearing a white shirt. Watch out. Who said that she had it? No, can I have a picture of it? I mean, I went through You know, her license. All right, cool. Do you have a bill of sale or anything? No, sir. Yeah, they have pictures of Huh? I don't know. No, I didn't. Yeah. What? No, no, I found a lady's purse at the car at the car wash earlier. Yeah, I was Although the woman denied any wrongdoing based on the evidence and prior descriptions, the police proceeded with their actions. I I don't know what I mean, I really don't know what >> a yes or no. Yeah? Okay. All right. So, the reason why we're here obviously because of the purse. Right. Um, but there was also some transactions that were made um Who's wanting to do it? It was It was multiple. No, I I There was some transactions that were made at the the gas station. Okay? Do you know anything about those transactions? I I tried to get the gas. I'll put it back. All right, we'll take the purse off you. But Take the purse off. Wait, what is going on?
