That's not a right. I know white people think it is a right to police black people and to be discriminatory and to be racist, but that's not a right. Whatever I did to your stuff, I will pay for. It was an accident. You just scared me. You are now having a conversation with me. You're not leaving. I'm leaving. Stop. Some thieves believe they could push an entire cart of merchandise out of the store without anyone noticing, but the moment police walked in, that confidence turned into pure embarrassment and their stories never ended well. These were the moments when cops surprised and arrested shoplifters stealing an entire cart full from Walmart. We were purely for educational purposes and did not make these videos to shame anyone. Don't forget to like and subscribe. Let's begin with the woman who repeated the same line like a broken record. I didn't even steal anything. >> I'll come back and talk to you, okay? I did not come out of the store with anything. >> I'll get you. Just put your feet in there for me, okay? What store are you talking about? What store are you talking about? You said On the 14th of October 2025, officers approached a woman after suspecting her of shoplifting at a store, but things did not go smoothly because she suddenly made an unexpected move right after that. All right. You are now having a conversation with me. You're not leaving. I'm leaving. Stop. Stop. Put your hands behind your back. Put your hands behind your back. The table helped officers block the suspect's escape route, but after her failed attempt to run, she denied the act as if she had done nothing wrong. Sir, I didn't even >> Put your hands behind your back. I didn't even steal I didn't even come past the Put your hands behind your back. I didn't even I didn't Put your hands behind your back. Put your hands behind your back. >> Sir, I didn't even come past the sales. Right now, you are under arrest. For what? I didn't Put your hands behind your back. I didn't even steal nothing. I didn't come past the sales, bro. I didn't even steal nothing. Take it off her. Yeah. I didn't even come past the last point Okay, we're hearing you. We're going to talk to you about this, okay? Yeah, I mean Okay, we're going to talk to you, okay? I didn't even come past the last point of sale, sir. We're going to talk to you in a second out here, okay? >> Yes. Stop. We're going to talk to you in a second. They're trying to fix You just keep repeating the same thing. It's not changing anything. >> Okay. Okay. So, we're going to roll you towards me, okay? Yep. I didn't even come past the last point of sale, sir. And we're going to sit you up, okay? Yes. Hold on, let me just Woah, put that back over. And then we'll take it off in I didn't even come past the last point of sale, sir. Come to your knees for me. I didn't even come past the last point of sale, sir. All right. Okay. We'll walk Walk to the car. I didn't even come past the last point of sale, sir. Yeah, I got it. I didn't even come past the last point of sale, sir. She kept repeating that she had not passed the last point of sale, which only suggested that she had faced a similar situation before. She still clung to that stance and continued making things difficult for the officers. And then, she had another garbage bag full of stuff that's I didn't I didn't I didn't I didn't come out with it. I did not come out with it. I did not come out with it. So, you can't charge me with nothing. I did not come out the store with it. I did not come past the last point of sale, Yeah, can I have a some walking orders? Yeah. No, you're good. I just give you a heads-up cuz you're walking towards me. >> I did not come out the store with nothing. Can you wind your stance one more time? I did not come out the store with nothing. I did not come out the store with nothing. Okay, we'll get to that point. I'm going to tighten these up a little bit, though. You got her for a second? Yep. Uh for now let's just put her in the back. I'm going to go see what other items Everything in here is audio and video recorded, okay? >> I did not come out the store with nothing. Take a seat for me. I'll talk to you in a little bit, okay? Put your feet in there. Am I going to jail? I'll explain everything in a second, all right? I did not I did not come out the store with nothing. Put your feet in >> come out the store with anything. >> I'll come back and talk to you, okay? I did not come out the store with anything. Anything. I get you. Just put your feet in there for me, okay? And then lean back. I'm going to shut the door. I did not come out the store with nothing. We'll have another conversation. The woman had not even realized how serious her situation was because even while sitting in the patrol car, she still believed she could refuse every request from the officers. Uh this thing's a little janky. I'll talk a little bit louder, okay? So, we're waiting on the Bloomington officer to come here. Once the Bloomington officer comes, I will read you your Miranda warning, okay? After that, you can choose to talk to me or not talk to me, okay? What is a Miranda warning? Miranda warning, those are your rights. Okay? But I'll explain it to you once he gets here, okay? Until that point, we're just waiting. I got some paperwork to fill out, but I'll explain all that, too. >> And what? Then? Then we're going to the county. County? Yes. >> For what? Like I said, I'll explain it to you. I'm not going to talk to you. >> I did not come I did not come out the store. Okay. I did not come out the store, sir. Okay. I did not come out the store, sir. Okay. I did not come out the store, sir. That's what Hey, you can I forgot to tell you something. You can explain all that to the officer and him, but we have to wait for the Bloomington officer. So, right now we just got to I did not come out the store. I hear you, okay? You say I'm going to the county. Like I said and he said, we have to wait for the You say I'm going to the county? Yes. For what? We have to explain that after So I got to go to the county jail? No, we're in the Do you know your social? >> I got to go to the county for what? We will explain that. >> to go to the jail? Hey. Hey. Do you know your social? What I got to go to? Hey. Wait, what's what's what what jail? County. I will explain it, okay? Before before we leave before we leave here, I'm going to explain >> wait. What I'm going to the jail for? Okay. >> For At that moment, officers received information that the woman had a history of committing a similar theft at another Walgreens store, even while wearing the same outfit. Let's see how she reacted when the officers discovered this. All right. It's the same shoes and everything. What you mean? What you mean? You're wearing the same shoes when you committed retail theft. When? Look up. When? We have you back in there. Wait, when? Sit back in there. >> mean? I didn't have on no shoes. Please sit back in the car. What you What What same shoes? What you mean? If you fight us, you're going Hey, I didn't have on You're going to get You're going to get charged You're going to get further charged. Put your legs in. >> What you mean same shoes? Put your legs in. What you mean same shoes? If you keep on resisting, you're going to get >> mean same shoes? Do you understand? What store is he talking about? >> Put your legs in. What store is he talking about? Put your legs in. What store is he talking about? What store is he talking about? You said same shoes. You are being arrested for retail theft. >> You said same shoes. What is he talking about? Can you show me a video? Can you show me a video? So what is he talking about? Same shoes. What is he talking about? What is he talking about? I never I never When you committed when you committed retail theft What is Where? Perhaps the suspect was the only one still trying to avoid facing the reality of what was happening, continuing to sit in the car and act confused as if that could somehow change her outcome. What the outcome of some fake shoes y'all talking about? Um with it being a felony amount, she's just getting an NTA then. She's not getting any What correct? What the [ __ ] y'all talking about? What is the NTA? Notice to appear. What's that? Your notice to appear in court, your court date. What is he talking about? You are being charged with three counts of felony retail theft and resisting arrest. For what? For what store? I've already explained that multiple times. It's not getting through to you, obviously. >> know? How? Where? What store? Um they are all Walgreens. Are you serious? Um nope, I wouldn't be telling you if I wasn't serious about it. Where's the stuff at? 10-4, that's good enough. Thank you. Where's the stuff? Where's the stuff at? Huh? Where's the stuff that y'all found anything on me? In the end, the woman was arrested and charged with retail theft and resisting arrest. It was clear that she had subtly admitted her actions from the start because instead of saying she did not steal, she only kept insisting that she had not left the store. Therefore, being honest and admitting the wrongdoing would have led to an easier outcome for everyone. Remember that. Next, the woman foolishly believed she had outsmarted the surveillance cameras. So, everything else on here she's paid for other than these dotted items. And those dotted items are on this receipt. And what's the total on here? >> You arrest me? Yeah, can you stand up for me? Why do I? Stand up for me. Face the wall. But Face the wall. On the 24th of January, 2026, police received a report from Walmart about a woman performing skip scanning during checkout. This was what happened after officers arrived at the scene. I like almost everything. I only got like two things and I can't say it here. Okay, so I don't know what you're saying. This is purposely. So, this is what she did. And then this is the stuff that was stickers switched. I'm sorry. Right. Which is all right. So, basically what she does, she has like her own barcode, but instead of like scanning the actual item, she scans that barcode, which is a dollar ninety-nine. a dollar Like >> Is this the scanner? No. She does. The craft. Can I see the receipt for everything she got so far? I don't remember anything or anything. Yeah, I put that in the receipt. The drink receipt. So, whatever is like dotted, like I put like a pen is like a dollar ninety-nine. That's everything she took and switched. Okay. And as he told you there's two items. Uh I don't even know. Okay, we're talking How many here? Uh So, everything else on here she's paid for other than these dotted items. And those dotted items on this receipt and what's the total on here? Uh it's one forty-four. Before taxes. Thus, her actions were confirmed as using a barcode switching trick to commit fraud. The store even provided surveillance footage to reinforce their suspicion. Do you guys have photos of this stuff already? Like if I were to send you guys a community request, would you be able to send me the actual link for you? Yeah. And then what is What is this barcode you guys are talking about? Do you guys have her on camera throwing that away? That one was switched. So we can see what she's talking about. So obviously these items are coming at 118. She has it on her finger. So like I don't She has it like stick that stuff I throw it away. You can see like the little tape on her on her index finger. Index finger which checkout this 120 so it's on your general and she walked out the other side. Can I take a photo of the community request email? I remember it being like something crazy. I think she could also just send you an email and then you could just send that up. If that's easier. Immediately afterward the loss prevention employee led the officer to the self-checkout she had used to describe in detail the actions she had taken. I got to throw some of this trash away. I got some trash so I'll do it you don't got to mess around with it. She hid it really well though. Like it was like clear tape and everything. Yeah, the guy that was here watching if you notice like it was ringing up a dollar 18 and he thought that it was four so he goes up there and looks at it and then he he rescanned it like the actual barcode and it was at 24 hours so he got it. That ain't right. And then he scanned it himself but then he caught me doing it. He said like clear tape. Try to make a mess, but I'm trying to also find it, you know? This is No, it's not my first time doing this, you know? No, I mean obviously it's small to fit on her finger. Yeah. At that point, it had become nearly impossible to deny the act any longer, and the officers proceeded to deliver their decision to the woman. Put her over here. Can you stand up for me? >> You're going to arrest me? >> Yeah, can you stand up for me? >> wine? >> Stand up for me. Face the wall. But Face the wall. Face the wall. Put your hands on your back, please. Put your hands on your back. So, here's the thing. What [ __ ] policy is that? >> No, it's It's not going to No, no one's going to put you in handcuffs. You're not going to put handcuffs Okay, don't put handcuffs on me because I don't want Is that too tight or no? No, it's okay. We wanted to bring the stuff to you so that you could pay for it. You're not going to pay for the stuff that I bought for the wine. The stuff in the car is what she paid for, right? >> Yeah, this stuff Okay. That's all that she paid for? >> Yeah, the stuff that was in the bag I bought at the store. Okay. Try to get 14 out of you, please. Show one adult in the custody. Pardon? No. I'm just searching you in here that way we're not around by everybody else, okay? I'm trying to do you a courtesy, all right? Is anyone else here with you? No, there is not. I'm not asking anyone else. I want to be back. I'm also 303. I don't know. All right. You got her? She was charged with retail theft. No matter how clever the trick may seem, cameras can still capture every detail of your crime and no lie can escape the truth. Being honest from the start would have made everything much easier. Even worse, the woman went as far as fabricating an entire false story. What is in those bags? I want to see what's in there. >> That's my other This is from yesterday. This is yesterday's other TJ Maxx. >> Can I see? Oh, uh All right, relax. Wait, relax. This is all all TJ Maxx stuff. On the 2nd of June, 2024, police stopped a vehicle on the highway after suspecting it was connected to a shoplifting incident that had just occurred at TJ Maxx. And as officers approached, the woman appeared to struggle to remain calm. How are you doing? Just let you know we're recording, all right? Everything is being recorded. Do you have a license, registration, insurance on you? Do you know why we're we're stopping you? Um no, sir. Okay, where are you coming from? Um just shopping. Okay, where? Uh over there at the stores. Going to Walmart. Okay, what store are you coming from? Um Like the title. Wait, can you just step out of the vehicle for me? Do you have your license on you or not? >> Yes, sir. How are you? Hi, how are you doing? Hi, hello. That's fine. Were you inside of TJ Maxx? Uh yes, sir. What What happened over there? She admitted she had been at TJ Maxx even though she had earlier claimed she was coming from Walmart. And at that moment, her growing confusion became clear as she struggled to recount what had happened at the store earlier. They I don't know what they were saying. They kind of yelled at me and I just like freaked out and I left. Did you get anything from the store? No, sir. I I paid for everything that was in my car. >> a receipt? Yes, absolutely. Um I'm sorry, one second. I'm a little Okay, nothing to be nervous about if you paid for everything. They just called. I mean, that he came out and he was like, "You didn't pay for stuff in your car." I was like, "I I don't know." And they were all like staring at me and I don't know. I was just freaking out. I just left. I'm sorry. Was uh all this stuff or this too is all from Kohl's? So, all of this right here. Absolutely. And like he made I don't know. He came out I literally I carted everything to my car and then I came out and he's like, "You didn't pay for stuff in your cart." I was like, "I What do you mean?" He said, "You didn't pay for it." He said, "We called the cops." And I just got scared. I'm sorry. You mind if I go through this? Go right ahead. No, absolutely. I And there's nothing in these bags? No, this is my other shopping. This is from like my other returns and everything. Like >> Okay. I'm sorry. This So, this is everything you got from Kohl's, all right? >> Right here. Yeah, I'll just spin it Yes, sir. And what's in here? Her nervous behavior only made the situation more suspicious. And in fact, officers noticed that she allowed them to check only one bag from the store involved in the theft even though she had two. Listen, it's all right if you don't understand. It I mean >> Um what is in those bags? I want to see what's in there. >> That's my other This is from yesterday. This is yesterday's other TJ Maxx >> I would prefer not cuz I don't want to get mixed up with what I bought today. The Kohl's Yeah. All right. This is going to be all on camera. They're going to send this to family court. >> That's absolutely fine. Like You don't have to. If you don't want to you don't have Yeah, I prefer not to because I don't want any >> What? I'm just I'm just giving you a heads up. >> This was absolutely in the cart. Like it was under the thing. It hit the I mean obviously. Let me see this. The freaking Cafe lights. Like I'm not >> your receipt here? What is this? They were like solar lights. Like that's it. Like If they were in the bottom it was a mistake. It was an accident. Like Let me ask you a question. Have you ever been arrested before? >> No, sir. No. Take a deep breath. Relax. >> I'm sorry. I think it's a diet Coke in there. You know that's like the You know Take a deep breath. For God's sake. And the thing is I do have other stuff, but I go to senior night every other day. There's like six items in there. I'm literally trying to like go and grab my bricks. Like that's why I have this. One, two, three, four. What is this? Five, six, seven, eight. It's like not even a spatula. Nine. There's nine items. There's nine items. Okay. All right. At that moment, the officer bluntly explained why the situation had escalated like this. And from that point on, the woman no longer dared to look the officer in the eye, which only deepened the suspicion. Listen, all we got, I'm just explaining to you what we got was we got a call seeing you on the cameras. I got shoplifting, you leaving the store, and that's all we got. So now we're That's why we're here. We're investigating. That's why I stopped you, okay? Fine. Yeah, I just like whatever. Didn't mean to. Things happen. You thought It's a complete If it's a complete mix-up, it's a complete mix-up. I was like I'm going to come back. I was like, what? Like I don't even know what you mean. Then he I'm like, no, I'm sorry. I'm not going to talk to you about this. Like I don't know. I I'm sorry. I thought it was rude. I wasn't trying Not It's not cuz you don't have to speak to me, right? You like You understand? Like you don't have to. Oh, no. You all are fine. I just No, I'm talking about the people there. Like if you were walking out and you felt nervous or awkward, that's why I was coming back from the car and I I don't know. And of course I'm thinking in my head like So what happened? You You like got out of the shopping mall? >> I had the shopping cart. I went to my car. I put this stuff in, the stuff I got. And then I go back to bring the shopping cart back because I'm a nice person. You don't leave the shopping cart outside. And they're there like, oh, we're going to talk to this unpaid person. I leave with it. And I'm like, yeah, there was what's living in your car. So you just for. It's like What do you mean? It's like, yeah, we called the police. Like, okay, no, I'm I'm leaving. >> Yeah, yeah. Like, maybe I should have like paused and like talked to the guy, but like That was her attempt to make excuses for herself, but she did not realize that the loss prevention officer had already arrived, and the moment for the truth and regret had finally come. Okay. How are you? Just so you know, everything's been recorded, all right? What belongs to you and what doesn't belong to Show me the receipt. This is the receipt she has. So, these stolen, stolen, stolen, stolen, stolen, stolen, all that stuff, all this stuff as well. This is all old >> relax. Hold on. Wait. Hold on. This is all old TJ Maxx stuff. I shop at TJ Maxx all the time. >> We're going to We're going to find out right now. So, 9.99 purchase. I saw her purchase that. So, you purchased this. That was fine. >> Whatever I didn't purchase, I will pay for. It was an accident. You just scared me. Where's the beauty items that you took as well? Did you get There's a bunch of stuff. This, like Stuff in there, too. Do you have a bag with you or no? Yeah, I always have >> No, you Me? Do you have anything you can put this in? I can just put it in my car. I just want to separate it. Just uh Or you can put whatever's stolen, put it on my hood. Yeah. Yeah. And then we can figure it out. I don't know if I can grab this. That's That stuff looks all purpose. >> This is all hers? That looks like all hers. So, This one, too. This one's from TJ Maxx. Yeah, I'm not I'm not 100% I'm not 100% sure on that one. Paid for? That's all paid for. I saw her put all that stuff in, but all this stuff on the bottom of the cart was not paid for. That was not on camera. >> these two items? Yes, sir. Uh not this one. This one was paid as well. When everything fell apart, she could no longer deny her shoplifting. Yet, she still tried to prepare an unreasonable excuse to lessen her guilt. When a woman is shopping alone, I apologize. It was not intentional. I will pay for everything that was not mine. >> She walked in with this these bags. She walked in with this bag, right? And this bag. Everything was concealed inside of one of these bags. And so, as she was shopping around, she was concealing items into one of the green Lululemon bags. Listen, you lied to me, too. No, I swear to god. It was I was actually I asked you, "Did you conceal anything?" >> No, I didn't conceal anything. Well, well, we're trying to Concealing is putting You put something in the bag. How do we get a total? Um I You bring it back to the store that you oversee. And then I think your partner's over there as well. I will pay for everything right now. >> I'm going to give you back the bag. If I'm able to get um a just a dollar amount, we could That's all. Not um just information. I got her information. If I could just get it, so I could It looks like it's going to be under $100, so if you guys are short-staffed >> I just need this bag, sir. Oh, I'm not. We might be past that point. My sergeant sets up to him. Okay. Yeah, but I think she This is probably at least $150 worth of stuff right there, I guess. >> Of course. That's why we were She was taken away shortly afterward, and she was charged with shoplifting. Dishonesty only made the situation worse. Taking responsibility from the start would have led to far fewer consequences. Worse still, the man stole right in front of his own family. No, I wouldn't do that cuz my wife has got a doctor's appointment, you know, okay? That That's what we're here >> it. That's That's That's what we paid for it. Well, we're past that right now. On June 1st, 2025, officers were dispatched to Walmart after receiving a report about a man behaving suspiciously at the checkout area, and the situation became even more serious when he was accompanied by his entire family. At that moment, officers stopped them before they exited the store, and this was what unfolded. And the car is it? Okay. I wasn't trying to steal anything. I wasn't trying to steal anything. All right, man. You can take a seat for me. We're not involved, man. Hello. Can you take a seat for me, man? I'm here. Can you move this just a little bit more, okay? Okay. You can go on if you want. All right. We don't We still uh We don't know what's going on, so can you just sit down for me? Yeah. And then I got to read you something real quick. I didn't I wasn't trying to steal anything or anything like that. >> me read this before you real quick, okay? The man denied attempting to steal and he immediately produced an absurd excuse to justify the way he scanned his items at checkout. I mean, I would like to stand up cuz Okay. Was there anything that was not scanned for or scanned paid for? I think I forgot to scan the the fishing pole. What makes you What makes you think you forgot to scan that? Cuz when I was scanning it, I don't know if it scanned or anything like that. Do you have your license on you, sir? Some Some form of ID? No, it's in the car. Okay. I got something to read you here. I just forgot to scan it and I'll I'll come Can I come back to get it? You're what? I'm coming back to come get it. Maybe Maybe I didn't scan it. Maybe I didn't want to walk back to my car to get the money. But maybe that's That's about it. Okay. So, you knew you didn't scan that but you were going to come back and scan it? Yeah. No. No, no. Go get the money and come back. I forgot it was in there. I forgot it was in there. >> So, if it hasn't been scanned and you go past the final point of sale, then Yeah. Okay. Yep. So, he's This is You'll talk to this officer. I'm sorry. It won't happen again. You can just sit down for me because we're It's probably going to be a little while on this. Go through your things, please. My bad. It's just I don't know. What else did I scan in there on that on that receipt? >> So, look. I'm going to go through every single thing and then we'll go from there, okay? Okay. And so Definitely more than just the fishing pole. So far, that's not scanned. Okay. I'm sorry. Trevor, I don't have anything to steal. I don't have anything to steal. Yeah, she You guys are good to go if you want, but if you want a second opinion I pretty much scanned everything in the car and I just forgot. No. Okay. Right now it looks like something got separated over there has not been Okay, then not on the receipt. Let's pay for it. Let's Let's Let's pay for it. Well, So, that's not we're past that right now. Because you don't drive and I'm the only one that drives to go home. Okay. I'm not hanging it in jail, trust me. And then I didn't know it was in there. All right. I knew it was in there. I just thought it maybe we forgot it. You didn't know what was in there? I don't understand. The poles. Okay. What about all the other stuff that's not been scanned like the the Capri Suns and the cheese balls and beef cubes and Gatorades. His excuses did not stop there. He even began bringing up his family to make it seem like he had a worthy reason. No, I wouldn't do that cuz my wife just got a job here, you know what I'm saying? Uh-huh. I got you. We all make mistakes. We're all human anyway. So, has this happened before? No. Okay. So, if we look up your cards, we're not going to see this happen in the record before? What, this one? No. So, this type of behavior, right? Where stuff wasn't scanned, we're not going to see that? I don't think so. I hope What we'll do is we'll search the car, we'll verify that this behavior doesn't continue to happen. Okay. No, it's not going to happen again. Well, I'm saying not again, but previously. Cuz we have access to every purchase that you've ever made previously. Okay. Okay, so has it happened before? No. Okay. And then up here is this. Okay. We got lowers under here. No, I forgot I forgot I got it got it in the bag. We're here for like 3 hours, weren't I? In reality, the man remained fairly calm and showed no sign of guilt at all, even when the officer told him the fate he was about to face. That I forgot to scan and I paid for it. No, so once you walk past the final point, they all haven't been purchased. They they don't allow you to purchase it okay. Great for on that camera. Is this his info? Yeah. And you guys have never been stopped before? No. Promise you know how much is that fishing pole, you know? I'm I'm not sure. I grabbed it. I was going to pay for it for real. All right, I just I'm just asking a question. I forgot that was in there. Okay, I will just scan it through. All right, man. I got to take a picture of you, okay? Just look up at me, please. All right, so what's your name? Sierra. Sierra Macy's. So obviously you know you work here, right? Um so the issue today is it's all about somebody that has been stealing from here. This is an instance today whether or not you were involved or not. I have to do the same thing. So for our evidence we have to Yeah, anything like that. I wouldn't be stealing if you were around. Even if what he's saying it wasn't stealing it was a mistake. So and just so you guys are aware, none of those Kinder's are on sale so I'm going to need them. Wait, I scanned didn't I? I didn't scan all that? No. 720 I think. Can I get another picture of that one? Um All right, I'm going to need those Kinder's, okay? I'm sorry. I can do it with my camera real quick. The man was considered a first-time offender. He was issued a criminal citation, banned from returning to Walmart, and required to appear in court to resolve the case. Trying to hide wrongdoing behind excuses only makes the consequences worse. Honesty from the start would have made the outcome far easier for everyone. Next, this woman even believed she had the right to everything. Coming in and shopping >> Okay. So ma'am, again >> and using the computer to see if it works is not illegal. >> I understand that. I'm going to the hospital. Take me to the hospital. There needs to be a woman present. Ma'am, we'll hold her right here. No, there needs to be a woman present. She appeared to agree with what the officer said, but let's listen to her responses at this moment. Each one was filled with clear contempt toward the police. Okay. You're trespassed for one calendar year. Okay. Totally fine. Yes, ma'am. Okay. I am not. Okay. I understand that. They have the right to trespass anybody they want. Yes, ma'am. Okay. I am I'm not. Why would he tell me to go go to the security? I don't I don't So go Why don't you go and check in with him? Okay. Okay. So I'm I'm coming in to shoot people. I said you threatened to >> Okay. Well, other people say otherwise. So it's time for you to go, okay? >> I never said that. So it's time for you to go, regardless. >> And when the manager came in and I spoke to him, that was corrected. So go talk to the manager. >> going to argue this. If you do not exit the store, you will be arrested for criminal trespass. >> No, no, no, no, no. We're not going to talk to the manager. >> Then why would he tell me to come shop? All right. I'm going to give you 15 minutes to collect your belongings and exit the store, otherwise you could be arrested for criminal trespass, okay? The police had truly given her a chance to leave, but she chose to walk over to a cashier to do something, and once again challenged the officers. Yes, ma'am. Go confirm. Confirm the information. One more chance >> Confirm the information before doing this. or you're going to be arrested. We need to confirm the information and make sure it's correct. I'm not signing anything that's illegal. Should I be? >> I'm not sure. I'm trying to give you a chance to comply and just walk out without being arrested. I didn't do anything wrong. So right now you are trespassing. No. Homeboy told me to go and to continue to shop. No, we are we're all done with that. You need to leave. Then you have him confirm that with you. Can you walk out so that these nice employees can continue on with their day? No one else here is going to help you. It's time to leave. You're going to be arrested. You need to leave. I'll be just super simple. And it'll be it'll be solved in like 10 minutes. You don't know who you're talking to me. The time limit the officers gave the woman had expired leaving her in a situation where she could no longer walk away easily. I didn't do anything wrong. All right, ma'am. You're now under arrest for criminal trespass. Go ahead. Drop your bags. No, let go. Put your hands behind your back. Don't tense up for us. >> That's for us. Is that how you do it? Ma'am, you're under arrest for criminal trespass. Stop. >> No, why not? You guys are being racist. I didn't do anything. Okay, ma'am. Just relax. You don't want to get an additional charge for resisting arrest. We're going to pull her forward. You're not. I have a back issue and you can't do that. >> Come No, you're not being gentle. I asked you to get the manager. I asked you to get the security. There's the security guards that were right there. Did he did he not tell me to continue to shop? So what was the issue? I didn't do anything. I came in and asked if you could go get the the security and the manager and make sure the information was correct. Oh, that wasn't the manager's part of the conversation either. And that's all I asked. So what was the issue? She stopped. Stop. No, you stop. No, that's what the security guards that I told you guys to go get in the first You're under arrest already, so. Criminal trespass. It seemed that once she was in handcuffs, everything would be over. But the woman knew exactly how to make things difficult, and the entire escort out was far from easy for the officers. Okay, ma'am. You can just Just walk. Just walk. Please, just walk. Stop. Stop. You are making it worse. Stop it. Just walk. You're not going to walk? Police determined that the woman bit an officer's leg during the escort, an action that added another charge against her. Yet in her imagined sense of authority, she believed she was the one who needed medical attention. So, ma'am, is there anyone that's going to focus to cut us hurt us? My bag. You don't want anything to go with you to jail? >> You can put it in the bag. I'll put your phone in there. Do you want that to go with you to do the jail? >> How? How? Let me Can I make a phone call with that? No. Is there a portable with that? No. Is there a charger with that? No. So, what's the point of having a phone if I can't charge with it? I'm going to the hospital. Take me to the hospital. There needs to be a woman present. >> Yeah, well, hold her right here. Yeah. No, there needs to be a woman present. Ma'am, you're not fighting. Just relax as you're grabbing my Stop touching me. In the end, she was charged with assault in the third degree, possessing stolen property, resisting arrest, and criminal trespassing. When authorities give you a chance to leave peacefully, ignoring it and escalating the situation will only make the consequences far worse. Next, the woman even believed she could outsmart the police. You want to give me your real name or not? I'm not I'm not going to tell you. I I have Wait, wait, wait. Oh, wait. Hold on. Ma'am, it's a little too late. Ma'am. Wait. Wait. Wait. And then real Elmer supposedly went to her account, realized that she would have that money withdrawn from down here. Flagged the account. And now she's back today. Elmer opened a new account or she did? Opened up another account. Okay, but canceled this one. And then she came in to deposit money into the old account. Okay. Elmer, is this your real name? Okay, cuz we're going to fingerprint you. Under the officer's suspicious questioning about the truth behind her story, the woman grew nervous. And every gesture and word she made clearly revealed something suspicious. I'm not I'm not It doesn't matter. You don't have to. Okay. Or because You work He that that gentleman works for the bank? And did mom Mom or dad buy it at the store? Uh I don't know if she bought it. Okay. So, when you get something, when you come to a store like this and you put stuff in your shopping cart, what are you supposed to do once you put it all in your cart? I You didn't do anything wrong, just so you know. You're not in trouble. >> I put the soda next to her, but she forgot it was mine. It was unfortunate that her child was involved, yet at this point the mother fully blamed her circumstances for her actions. Okay. So, what is going on tonight? Honestly, goes a long way. I'm going through a divorce. She's having a hard time dealing with it, too. Okay. So, they have I guess they have camera footage of everything. I've been living in a house with no water. Okay. And yourself, one of the one of the pants was like 25, 30 bucks and put a new tag on it. How were you putting the tags on on that? I didn't put those tags on that. They were hanging in the clearance aisle. Okay. All right. I said that. I bought them, yeah. You didn't take any of the tags off your pants? No. What what tags did you swap? If you look at the video, I'm in the clearance aisle all the time. What tags did you swap then? Just the um sticky ones. Okay. How many items did you swap? >> Um a folder, the LEGO set. I told him that. The folder, the LEGO set, and and nothing. and then a bag didn't have a tag. Okay. That's it. Okay? And I don't I'm sorry to have to tell you that but she made a mistake. Okay? But she knew the mistake that she was making which makes it wrong, right? I'm I'm going to talk with I'm talking with Listen, I'm I'm talking with Tara. He's getting a total amount of everything so I got it's going to be up to them what they decide to do, okay? Well, you know what you're supposed to do if somebody bullies you, right? Tell but nobody cares. That's not true. That's not true. We don't like that. We You know we have deputies in every school, right? You tell a deputy, you tell that person to stop to leave you alone and then you tell a teacher or you tell the the school deputy because they don't tolerate that, okay? That's not nice and that shouldn't be happening to you. You're a nice boy, right? That shouldn't be happening to you. People shouldn't be mean to you. People shouldn't Nobody should be mean to each other, right? >> But they only bully me. Why do they bully you? What do they say? They say I'm fat and You are not fat. I know that. That's mean, right? That's real mean. But you know what? You're going to enter your school now so you maybe you make new friends and you won't have that problem but if you do, if somebody's mean to you, you tell them to stop it and you tell a teacher or you tell this you tell any adult. You tell your mom, you tell your dad, you tell your grandfather, you tell anybody and everybody, cuz that's not okay and we won't put up with it. Okay. Give me a pinky swear that you're going to tell somebody if somebody's mean to you, okay? Shortly after, a guardian arrived to assist the police in caring for the uninvolved child, while also testifying that the mother even had money to shop. Might not have pursued charges, but she's done this multiple times in this store. In this store? Yes. I don't understand. I gave her money to go I gave her sleep aids and tea. I'm like, go to Dollar General. She's been doing this, apparently. She didn't know if she stole it. Okay. That has That's not the has nothing to do with your soda, buddy, okay? But and grandpa will explain everything to you, okay? I already kind of gave him a speech on mommy made a mistake. She She took medicine for it. She has uh She takes Xanax. Uh well, not Xanax, it's Klonopin for depression. Not that that she needs social workers. Um so, no. Sorry. She'll get her money back, but she won't get the items, so. Well, if she's if she's on something, they they can look it up at the jail. She needs something, they'll be able to give her some sort of might not be exactly what she gets. It might be, but I don't know. Shortly after, police questioned her about her ability to afford shopping. She seemed to view everyone else's guilty except herself. Why do you keep stealing? Your dad just said he gave you money. He did. He gave me $20 and then I just came here to see if they had my mom's sleep aids here. Why did you steal? Because I've been locked in my house for 9 years with a husband who controlled me. >> What does that have to do with you stealing stuff? >> money or anything. What does that have to do with you stealing stuff and setting a terrible example for your son? Ma'am, you don't have to tell me how to be a mother. I understand that. >> I'm not telling you how to be a mother. I said you're setting a bad example. Multiple times. Yes, you're right. You're 100% right. Thank you for admitting it. And I hope you didn't tell your son that you forgot to pay for it. I didn't tell him that. Okay. And you're really giving your husband, I don't know what's going on with your divorce. You said you're going through a divorce. You're giving him ammunition against you to get possibly get your kids taken away from you. And your dad just said that you just got released for this. So, the judge is >> didn't I just got released because I passed a car and they violated me. Okay. Well, you're on probation and they're guaranteed you that the judge is probably going to violate you. And now you're stuck in jail. Why did you open up the wrapping if you weren't stealing it? >> I didn't. I ripped it in half. I threw the other half. Why? Why not? Who cares? The police decided to arrest her and as confirmed by the guardian's testimony, her bag contained ample evidence. All right. Let me just stand up and face away from you, okay? You're good to go. In the end, the woman was charged with shoplifting and scheming to defraud. Her attempts to shift blame and deny responsibility only highlighted her arrogance and disregard for the law. Next, one word describe the next thief, crazy. Hey! Help me! They're hiring me! Help me! Go get my boyfriend! He's the one that got me in this store in the first place. Go get my boyfriend! He's getting a hobo. On March 31st, 2024, police quickly detained a woman after she attempted to push an entire cart of merchandise out of the store without any intention of paying. This was what happened next. Yeah, Walmart's got 4K cameras, man. I know. It was my niece that did that doing that. Are your hands wet cuz you washed them recently? Okay, I appreciate that. Can y'all just take me around the corner to my boyfriend right there real quick? >> the stuff? Okay. Your boyfriend's around the corner? You know what you're doing? Can I get my bag right there? We're going to take you to the office first, okay? Can you push that bag inside? You got it? I'll help you if you I'll take this. Yeah. At first, she appeared cooperative, but once inside the store, everything shifted. >> I will walk with you. I will walk with you. >> I cannot let you go. You're under arrest today. Excuse me, sir. I got to get through here. Oh, I'm sorry. Appreciate it. All right, we're going to have a seat right here. Actually, give me a second. I'm going to have the other officer make sure you don't have any knives or anything on you. Do you have any pocket knives? Listen. >> you have at least one pocket knife. >> to take me out of here where I can be seen. Ooh, y'all going to do me like that? Y'all going to do me like that? Hey, help me! Help me! They're hurting me! Help me! Go get my boyfriend! Help me! Help me! All right, just take the knife off her. Help me! Get your hands off of me! Ma'am. Get off of me! Help! Help! Ma'am. Help! Help! >> doing anything. Help! Help! Help! Help! Help! Help! Ma'am. Stop. >> Let me go! I don't even have pockets. You're under arrest. >> I don't have pockets. That's great. We're making sure you don't have a pocket knife cuz you were using one on the video. This is all wrong. Her attitude flipped without warning, and she cast herself as the victim. None of it stopped officers from continuing to handle the situation. Absolutely not. Help! You're going to act like a fool? No, y'all know what you just did. What? You tried to run from us and pull away. >> Yeah, right. >> getting a resisting charge. >> Yeah, right. It's all on our body cam and that camera. So, you can talk lie to yourself all you'd like. We're going to play your game. She clear? I didn't find it. I just I don't have a knife on me. Yeah, you're going to make up something. >> I just want to make sure it's not on her. Can you check her? Making up stuff. Making up stuff. Take it off. All right. We're going to walk to the car. I'm going to pull that tail. Hope y'all know that. I know you know that. Everything did not stop there. It became far worse as her resistance intensified, causing the chaos to spill out beyond the store's entrance. Y'all Y'all Y'all got me in this store in the first place. Go get my boyfriend. She's getting a hobble. Yep. Oh my god. Serious? Y'all going to do me like that? Go get my boyfriend. Just hold her for a second. All right, and the bus transit. Call Elliot. Go get Elliot. And this what you're going to do to me? Good. Y'all got me. Y'all got me. too. Somebody go get my boyfriend, please. Y'all going to kill me, too? Mhm? Hot tub, [ __ ] Y'all got me in the store. Y'all can't do the child of God. God. In the end, the woman was charged with retail theft and resisting arrest without violence. Refusing to take responsibility only makes the consequences heavier. Escalating a situation through denial and resistance never restores innocence. It only adds more charges and turns a bad decision into a far worse outcome. >> I'm not running. I'm not doing anything. That's right. I can get a citation. I will come to court. I cannot go to jail. On June 19th, 2023, police received a call from a local store reporting suspected theft involving two women. Upon arriving at the scene, both had fled outside but were intercepted by officers. Too much going on too many stories going on. Okay. I got it. We'll make it real simple for you. Go find out Go find out which which one of them it is, which female they say it is, and then that's the one we're going to deal with. We're going to let the other one go. So, ask them which female it is. >> Okay. All right, which one was it? It was the one with the light green shirt with the denim shorts. She has the lighter brown purse. Copy that. Green. Huh? Green shirt And the denim shorts? Yep. Okay. I'm just trying to figure out why they're lying. Why is two different stories going on? Y'all not going to talk to them at all? Yeah, we are. Yes, there are two different things going on here. You come out here and you just honestly say you come out here and honestly What? No, I'm not running. No, no, I don't want to I'm not running. I'm not doing anything. You have to do all of this? Why does she got to go and cuff her? Both women denied the accusations and appeared confused by the officer's actions. On the way to the office, she continuously voiced her complaints. I'm not doing the most. All right. When I go to easy and pay for it, I want for y'all to talk to this man right here. Sure. Parker, I'm going to park the car real quick. I'll be right with you, okay? All right. Okay. By the two forces, so all personal property goes away from them to either your car or Oh, really? Do you have your ID on you? This is her first day, huh? No, I'm not. No ID? Okay. What's your name? Makayla. Makayla? Yeah. Yeah, so why do you need my ID? I thought y'all were asking what we're doing. Then what we were doing wrong, what happened. I'm going to ask a lot of questions here and like Uh we don't have time for this. Yeah, ladies. I know, I'm just saying like y'all can we just get No, I'm not trying to I'm really not trying to be argumentative. and relax and go with the program. He's going to ask you some questions. It could be a lot of things. Are you Okay, what's your name? Erica. Erica? Mhm. How do you spell that? E R I C A Erica. Yeah. At this point, after reviewing the surveillance footage of the woman in the green shirt, each officer began to uncover exactly what she had done. So, what we got here is the one in the green I was posted on do. They caught her on camera putting a dress inside a bag. Okay. A bag What kind of bag? Her purse or her bag, whatever. And then they took him to walk out. They made past the front doors. You mean so they did walk out? Yes. Walk out. I'm sorry. They were stopped them. They denied it. First she denied it. First the one that was really wearing it said that she had nothing to do She had nothing to do with it. She said she had nothing to do with it. Okay. And then finally like he's like no like we caught you. We saw you take it. And then finally that's when they put the dress on and turned it back in. Okay. So the other one's not being detained right now? So They're both being talked to right now. Okay. Verify that she had nothing to do with So You guys don't have video footage of the other person doing it. They're reviewing it right now. Okay so they're still investigating. You got to go in here. Oops, sorry. Just wanted to know I'm going to continue getting their information from the tree. Yeah. All the information, phone numbers, everything you can get. I'm going to get that and then whatever else you need. Okay. It didn't stop there. Shortly after the officers discovered that the information she had previously provided was unreliable. We have no records of it. Both of these names are fake or When this situation was happening, where were you guys? When we arrested her, we searched for an ID. Like where you guys But this person is possibly a fake name. Cameras on the outside of the Okay. So you guys were on the outside of the store. You didn't pay for the dress. Couldn't hear you. Yeah. I'm sorry. They walked out of the store. They didn't pay for the dress. So you were outside of the store. So unprofessional. Y'all You were outside of the store. And the security guard came to you and you told the security guard he stopped you to make you give back the dress. If you give it back, then we will not call the police. >> Right. Exactly. And then what happened after that? >> And then we said, "We'll just pay for it." He said, "No." He said, "Um all right, come in." So, we were like, "Okay, we'll just pay for it." >> She was saying she was like, "So, are you" I didn't know if you were lying. And I'm like, "She doesn't know what's going on." You know what I'm saying? So, I asked him. I was like, "So, are we walking to the register to pay for the dress?" And he said, "Yes." Next thing you know, Y'all are all outside. You know what I'm saying? So, the last one was standing out there. And then there was and then we were standing out there trying to figure out what was going on. So, I walked back in the store with them to go pay for the dress. And they start talking about going upstairs. And I'm like, He actually took us to the register. Yeah, I'm asking why do you have to go upstairs if I'm going to pay for it? You know what I'm saying? What's upstairs that All right. Like, why can't I just pay for it right here? >> Okay. And then as soon as we went to the register, he talking about um So, I the dress is right there as you see. And I would we he said >> that Yes. Okay. So, in her own story, she inadvertently revealed that she had indeed taken the items without paying. Yet now she portrayed herself as the victim. The officers immediately clarified that her actions were wrong. So, you are you are more than old enough to understand that you cannot walk out of a store without having to get paid for it. Okay, yes. I understand that. >> Okay. So, for me that is the end of the discussion. It is a crime to be >> of doing all of this extra stuff? >> What extra stuff? We have to get >> this stuff y'all got to get. >> Yeah, you talking about y'all going to figure out what's going on. Yes, because Y'all Y'all knew what was going on from the get-go. You should have just said that. Stop. If you ask me a question, I'm going to answer it. Again, I told you I'm going to shut up and stop answering your questions if you keep over talking. Okay? So, we met you all in the parking lot. This Stop. There's absolutely no way for us to know in the parking lot what's going on. So, we do have to figure it out. We've got to talk to y'all. We've got to talk to the store and figure out what's going on before we make a decision. We're not just going to stop you, place you in handcuffs, which is why I stopped him from doing it out in the road. We've got to understand what's going on. Now that we do, you are going to jail for >> But this situation is so messy. Like how is this even holding right now? >> I'm going to what? Clearly, all the confusion stemmed from her initial lack of cooperation. At this point, the officers also received the items she had returned to the store after being caught. Well, they called mental aid them. Ooh. They had some coffee nuts. What's that word? Yes. Okay. I got Mary 35 on robbery. Do you copy in Jersey vehicle number? Yeah, I got Mary 4. Um robbery. Um robbery. I think it's a robbery. You need any help here? What? You need help? No, no. I got this. Go ahead. Go ahead. Go ahead. Hey, partner. Thanks. Mary 35 You said Seminole? Seminole County? Yep. Okay, I'm on my way. I guess I'm going to have to wait. It's not so pretty. I got messed up, right? Oh, and they got my purse. I just ran over the hydrant. She was charged with retail theft. This serves as a reminder that admitting mistakes early and cooperating with authorities helps resolve situations quickly and transparently. Get out of the car. Hey, don't you get in the car. Get out. How you got this vehicle? Uh company vehicle, family vehicle. On August 4th, 2025, police received a report from Gifted Hands Auto Service regarding a vehicle that was stolen while still undergoing unfinished repairs. This was what happened when officers arrived at the scene. Hello. Hey, how's it going? Good, how are you? >> All right, I ain't doing too good. Okay, what's going on? This is your job? This is my business. Your business, okay. Okay. I leave to go home, it was a blue Honda back there right here. Honda car, Honda Civic. We come in today cuz we just get back today, it's gone. Okay. Got the report it stolen. But then I don't know cuz somebody just say the repo truck could have got it. I don't know. >> Okay. I called talk with your dispatcher at at the office got what what the tag she say what the army people have? A veteran tag. She said it had a veteran tag on it. >> Okay, so you don't Do you know the tag number? No, she just say it's got a uh veteran tag. Okay, so we can't obviously find out if it was repoed unless we have the tag number. >> Oh, when I talked with her she said they got a couple read they got a repo for a blue Honda Civic, so I don't know if that's it. >> Okay, I mean hopefully it was repoed, right? I'm hoping. I never had a car that stolen from here. Right, but also it could be boyfriend coming to take it, you know what I mean? A son. It It really could be anything. Do y'all have um surveillance footage around here? The cameras went out. We got camera but when it hit when it rained Thursday the lightning it tore them up. We actually waiting on the guy to come out now. Okay. The situation seemed to grow more complicated when their cameras had malfunctioned, but officers still tried to gather additional information from those present at the scene that day. I leave early on Friday and it be him and my son they close. But we all left Friday, so we don't know if it was Friday night, Saturday, when we just seen it today. Okay, got you. And those are the keys? >> That's the Honda key. Okay. Cuz usually whenever a vehicle gets repoed, they automatically think it's stolen, so it's automatically put in our system Okay. that it was repoed, but right now we don't have anything of the sort, so right now it's considered stolen. Yeah. So, vehicle owner said that's the only key she has. Mhm. No one has access to the key or Mhm. She's married. Her and her husband are on their way here right now. She said she's up-to-date on payments. So, she said it can't it couldn't have gotten repoed. She gave me a tag though, so I'm going to go. Oh, yeah. Um, LPR. I'm going to drive around and see if I can find it. Is the vehicle black? Yeah, it is. Okay, I thought it was blue in the pictures. Um, and no one had permission to take it? >> No. All right, so the last time it was being driven and it was hit on a license plate reader was at What does it say? 12:58 last night. So, I have another officer driving around in the area right now, okay? So, they don't seen it already? So, the last one was I think it said Western Park by like Lake Smart, 10 mi from here, so >> It's joyride. Just riding around. Um, but it's real strange like why would you steal a car from an auto shop? It's very strange to me. The clearest piece of information police relied on was the vehicle's license plate number. Based on that, they issued a bolo alert and within just 7 hours the suspect appeared. Get out of the car. Hey, you got your hands out of the car. Get out. You got your hands out of the car. Get out. All right, you got anything on you? Yeah, I got my phone. All right, go ahead and have a seat. Hey, that damage on the side I think was already there. Remember that picture I showed you? That damage was already on it. All right, what's up, my man? What's your uh first name? Christopher. Say it again. Christopher. Christopher? Did you have the keys on you for the vehicle? Yes, they're in It's in the car? All right, so look, I'm going to read you something real quick, all right? The suspect was identified as a 27-year-old man believed to be homeless in the area, but when questioned further about the vehicle, he gave answers that were highly unbelievable. How you got this vehicle? Uh it's a company vehicle. Family vehicle. Family vehicle? Yeah. Where'd you get it from? Helping Hand. Helping Hand? Yeah. What What's the Helping Hand? Company. The company? Yeah. Helping Hand company gave you the vehicle? Yeah. When did they give it to you? A couple days ago. A couple days ago? Or was it like your boss gave it to you or something? Uh this is just a spare loan vehicle. A spare loan vehicle? >> They just keep it there for anybody that needs to use it. Who handed you the keys? A lady. A lady? Well, the lady left it in the vehicle. So she left it in the vehicle? Yeah. Did you see her leave it in there or something? Were you watching her? Uh we just different type of people. We just borrowed a car a night there. So she borrowed the vehicle first and left the keys in there? Well, it's their vehicle, but they leave the keys in there. They leave the keys in there? Okay. And then so you went up there, went inside, grabbed it, and you've been using it ever since? Yeah, I just borrowed the car a night there. Okay. We driving it. Been driving it ever since. Okay. And you don't know who owns the vehicle or nothing? It's a spare spare spare vehicle. Did somebody text you and tell you that you could use the vehicle or something? Uh yeah, I kind of went over there like a week back and told them that I was on feet and I didn't get to take care of them some stuff. You got a phone number for them? No, sir. I don't got no phone, no nothing. So how did you talk to them? >> This is what I'm trying to situate. So how did you talk to them? It's a company that I spoke to. And you've been sleeping in the car this whole time? Yeah, or I or I just go to the Yeah, or I just go to the company and park the car and sleep right there. And what's So, where's the company at if you know where it's at? It's I don't really know the address. I just know it's over there by Reese Towing. So, where is Reese Towing? >> It's It's uh I I could tell you down where it is. Mhm. I just I don't even remember the address. What address did you stop at? So, we'll I'll let you know in a second, right? I'm trying to I'm trying to figure out what's going on. How could How you get the vehicle? Mhm. Is it probably new? All right. All right, so two questions. So, Reese Groceries is right there, correct? So, where did you um get the vehicle from? Man. So, that's all right. That's where you That's where you got it from? Yes. Okay. He pointed to the right where it was at. All right, then I Put that in your report. That's the evidence of him pointing out on a map where he took the car, which just so happens to be where it was stolen. So, if he tries to say I was given the vehicle a week later, and I got it from somewhere else, then I'll be like, "Man, look. You literally pointed to the map where it was at, the body shop." During the subsequent search of the vehicle, officers discovered a bag of crystals later identified as methamphetamine. Finally, Christopher Rodriguez was charged of grand theft of a motor vehicle, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving while his license was suspended or revoked. Lying may buy you a few minutes, but the truth always catches up. When you stack one false story on top of another, the cracks will show, especially under pressure.
