Sir, >> why is he doing that? >> I didn't do nothing to him. >> Relax. >> I didn't do nothing. >> GET OFF ME. >> I HAVE NOTHING. >> Get in the car. >> I SAID I HAVE NOTHING. >> They said that. They told me that. >> Hey, their cars. >> You got an ID on you, huh? You got an ID on you? >> Sit up now. I'm going to put you back. >> You can't just jump on somebody. Where the is your problem, >> sir? Son, what is this problem, man? >> Large shopping centers welcomed thousands of customers every day, but thieves slipped in among the crowd, blending in with ease. When caught, they even prepared roles for themselves, flipping the script to play victims or pull the racism card. All of that unfolded in today's video. When cops had enough of these Walmart shoppers, we are This is Law. Don't forget to like and subscribe. Starting with this entitled family. They thought they had the right to be the victims. Sir, listen to me. >> I know my law. I know my wife. >> I did everything that told me him to do and he going to manhandle me. >> Stand up for me. >> Man, you suck like PLEASE DON'T LET HIM TOUCH ME. >> On June 23rd, 2025, police were dispatched to Bosau after receiving reports of three suspects involved in shoplifting. Upon arrival, the suspects were still in the parking lot, completely unaware of the unfolding situation. >> Excuse me, sir. >> I am officer I'm officer SC with the Eatontown Police. >> I need I need her backpack. I need all the stuff in the car. >> Just let you know since it's being recorded. Okay. Hello. >> Hi. >> Hi. >> Could you shut off the car for me, please? Shut off the car for me. >> And you can just exit. That's fine. Exit. We're going to talk. We're going to talk. You, too, ma'am. You got to exit the car. Okay. >> I'm Officer Scout with the Eaton Town Police. >> I need the backpack. I need the chair. >> Just let you know since it's being recorded. Okay. >> Yes. >> Come on out of the car there, ma'am. >> We need the chair that's in the back in the car as well. Whatever's his. Go ahead and give him whatever. >> I don't have his. Nothing of his. >> You don't have anything of his? >> No, I'm not. I don't. >> Okay. All right. All right. We're going to figure it out. >> You see it? >> Can I see the bag? >> Can he see the bag? >> And there was like a big blue uh chair that you had slung over your shoulder. Where's that? >> She's got a lot of pillows in here. >> Okay. >> Whatever's yours. Just find yours and take what yours >> exactly. >> All right. I got plenty of plans. The >> lady I sit there and tell you we need to register and pay for this [ __ ] >> Guys, guys, guys. We called here. We're going to figure this out. >> We're going to figure it out. Okay. We're not here to give you a hard time. We're just going to >> give us a hard time. >> No, we are not giving >> I've been nothing but polite to you, man. >> The woman's arrival escalated the situation, forcing the officers to work hard to calm everyone present, though their efforts seemed largely ineffective. like this profile though I'm stealing something bugging >> we're going to figure it out >> my job is to my job is to protect you and make sure that everything is correct okay so let me just take care of it and if he's wrong we'll determine that okay >> a friend of mine just pick me up >> that's fine guys do you have ID with you does everyone have ID do you have ID with you sir >> okay can I see your ID please sir ID >> you're invol you're involved in a you're involved in shop. >> I'm not involved in nothing. I'm with I'm not involved in nothing, bro. I came in and bought Sir, listen to me, sir. I know my law. I know my rights. >> I know my rights. I came in the store. I bought something. I bought what I bought. I'm not involved in nothing. I don't have to give you my name. If you want to go further with that, you can. I don't I got Look, I got big idea on me. >> Yeah. >> It's right here. >> Okay. So, sir, listen. >> I got a big idea on me. I'm not I ain't hide nothing. Hold up. >> Yeah. I I didn't >> I know I got big money on me. >> All right. So, listen. I I didn't accuse you of anything. Okay. I'm investigating the crime here. >> I got money right here. Okay, >> I don't have to steal. That's profiling, bro. Blowing, bro. >> The man tried to justify himself by showing the money he had, but of course, that offered no excuse. Nor did the woman's subsequent statements. >> Um, so he's going to determine how, >> but he said we took out and here is the book bag. He went through the book bag. Nothing's in the book bag. Sean stuff. >> So, coming from the police point of view, they called us. We're just here to try to figure out what's going on. >> I understand. >> So, we're going to see what >> you can talk to. At least I get my >> ma'am. I'm getting my lunch. >> Where's my phone? >> I dropped my phone. >> We're trying not to make this a big deal. >> You're doing all three. >> All three of them for what? >> She walked out. The uh woman with the yellow shirt walked out with the comforter. >> That's the blue. >> I didn't know honestly. I just >> I watched you do it. >> Yeah, but I didn't know it was >> You watched them try to stop her in a bag and then she >> No, she didn't. Cheryl, please. >> No, she did not. >> No, she did not. >> Cheryl, please out the court. >> For what? >> Thank you. Well, we're going to figure this all out. So, >> why am I stepping out the car for >> Because it's an active investigation. You might be placed under arrest. We don't know yet. >> I'm not being placed under arrest. I'm I'm right here. >> I know. Yes, she did. Yeah. >> Anything else? >> She took this blueberry. >> Yeah, I did. >> She put that cup was mine. To clarify, the woman confidently denied any wrongdoing because she had used the blue bag to steal, but then left it inside the store before exiting. This gave her the confidence to challenge the officer so boldly. >> But I never came out the store with that. >> That stuff I never walked out the store with. >> He had this in his bag and she had all this. >> But I never walked out the store with that [ __ ] >> All right. >> At all. >> I didn't walk out another store with none of that. >> This was in his bag. Okay. But we didn't go through we didn't go through the bag just yet. He just he just forfeited that to us, >> right? >> Okay. And this was in this black bag. >> I never had that. That bag was stayed in that store and never came out that store. >> That bag never came out that store. >> Yes. >> Right. >> She went behind the register. >> That wasn't in no cart. >> And then she took uh the three bags of chips. Uh >> yes, I did take the three bags of chips. >> Bag. >> Okay. >> She picked this up out of the display, put it right over her shoulder. They walked out. He put this concealed it. >> That's when I already used >> and the girl in the officer uh picked this up off the selling floor and walked out with it. >> Okay. All right. >> But it never came out the store. >> My point is it never came out the store. >> What? >> I stopped you outside the store. >> It didn't come out the store. It never moved out that door. >> Tell the truth. >> The woman was even certain about a black bag that hadn't left the store. Clearly aware of the stolen items inside. It seems she had a keen understanding of what legally constituted stealing. >> All right. >> Once you walk out that door, then you're stealing. >> Sure. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> All right. Uh, guys, listen. Everyone, uh, you're stealing. >> Once you come out, >> guys, listen. You're being placed under arrest for shoplifting. Okay. >> Stop. >> Nothing walked out that door. >> You're being placed under arrest for shoplifting. >> I never got back. >> I'm telling you. Just put your hands behind your back. It's going to place resistant. >> I know you're not. I know you're not. I will take care of anything. >> Bring this in with this. >> Let her laugh. >> First of all, do not tell me. >> She has to laugh. >> Right now. >> Turn around. Put your hands behind your back. >> Turn around. >> Let me get around. I am. Please don't grab me. I said I will. >> Put your hands behind your back right now. Turn around. >> All right. Can I Can I turn around? >> Turn around. >> Let me go then. Turn around. >> Let me go. I know the law. >> Turn around. >> I know the law. Turn around and I'll turn around. >> Turn around. Be nice. >> Turn around right now. >> Be nice. Turn around. >> Be nice. Don't grab me. >> Don't push. >> Why is he Why is he doing that? Stop. >> I didn't do nothing to him. >> Relax. >> I didn't do nothing. >> Relax. Camera. >> Relax. Camera was showing. >> Turn around. Relax. >> Stop resisting. >> I'm not resisting. I'M NOT DOING NOTHING. >> I'm not even resisting. I'm just scanning. Put >> your hands behind your back. Put your hands up, bro. >> When I tell you to do something with you. It's up to me. You're hurting me. You're hurting me. >> Don't move. >> Don't hurt me. >> Don't move. You're hurting me. pushing. She's not listening to me. I'm not pushing you. >> YES, YOU ARE. CALM DOWN. Calm down. [screaming] >> She swatted the officer's hand when they tried to detain her. Yet immediately afterward, she positioned herself as the victim, acting as if she hadn't resisted at all. >> Try as hell. I DIDN'T RESIST. >> I know you didn't resist. >> I didn't resist. >> I saw that, sister. >> I didn't resist. Get the my purse. You ain't ask. >> You ain't ask. Now get out my purse. >> Just be silent. >> You ain't ask. Just be silent. >> Get out my purse. You didn't >> be silent. >> Just help. >> And I didn't resist. >> I didn't resist. >> And you know I didn't resist. Why you take my apart? >> Ma'am, face the car. Don't move. >> No, you face the car. >> Don't resist. You're lying. >> Kick open your legs, >> ma'am. Kick open your legs for me. >> They're open. They're open. >> They're open. My legs are open. I'm not going to spread them as wide as you want. I ain't got no gun or nothing. I don't I'm not violent. I'm not a violent person at all. >> Okay. >> Ask anybody about can I get my glasses off the ground right there? >> Right there. >> Right there. >> Thank you. >> Can I get my purse? >> Bring it all with us. It's all coming back with us. Come on. >> I want my purse. >> Go get it. >> One might think she would start cooperating at this point, but no. She was completely different from the other suspects. fully aware of how to make things difficult for the officers and acted as if she had every right to do so. >> Stop pulling me. Stop. >> Well, THEN JUST WALK. >> I'M WALKING. But he's pulling me. >> Walk in a straight line. >> Why you got to pull? >> I can't walk. >> You got nothing. >> What are you reaching for? >> I HAVE NOTHING. >> WHAT ARE YOU REACHING FOR? >> Your ass. >> [ __ ] out of here. >> Stay right there. Stop. >> Tell me to get off me. I have nothing. I have nothing. Officer, I told him I have nothing and I have nothing. Get off me. Get the off me. GET OFF ME. I HAVE NOTHING. >> GET IN THE CAR. >> I SAID I HAVE NOTHING. >> GET IN THE CAR. >> Can you not pull my arm? >> Get in the car. >> Thank you. I will. CAN I GET UP? I CAN'T GET IN THE CAR LIKE THIS. >> I'm 25 years old. Who the you think you pulling on? and pushing on. Don't push me. Don't push me. >> Get in the car. >> Don't push me. >> Think you are. >> Even back at the police station, her rage remained intense. Peach, I did nothing. Completely contradicted by the stream of insults she hurled. >> I did everything that told me to do and he going to manhandle me. >> Ma'am, stand up for me. >> Man, you suck. Stand up. Don't let him touch. Please don't let him >> I DON'T WANT HIM TO TOUCH ME. >> MA'AM, DON'T LET HIM TOUCH. >> Don't let him touch me. >> STAND UP. YOU CAN'T. I DON'T WANT HIM BOTHERING ME, TOUCHING ME. HE CAN'T HANDLE ME ENOUGH. >> All three suspects were charged with shoplifting. Meanwhile, this woman also was charged with resisting arrest. Trying to hide theft and challenge the police only makes things worse. All three suspects refused to cooperate, but surveillance video proved the truth beyond doubt. Next, this girl even showed no sign of maturity at all. >> I want to go to jail. Yeah, this is all. >> On June 23rd, 2025, police received a report from Target about a woman shopping with her sister who secretly slipped merchandise into her pocket. When officers arrived, they acted quickly as she had already been caught in the act. >> Turn your bag. Okay. >> Wait, can I call my dad? Uh, we can have your sister do that and you can call when you get to the jail. Okay. >> Stop. Don't make it. Don't catch another charge. Don't catch another charge. >> That's not Don't catch another charge. >> I didn't do anything. >> No, she bought me those. I don't want to go to jail. >> Yeah, this is all she can do. So, >> you got anything in the other pocket? It'll be so much easier if you say you don't. >> We're going to check. All right. You want to check the pocket? >> Wait, I'm sorry. I don't want to go to jail. >> Oh, you should have thought about that. Even your sister was telling me outside that she was telling you how much of a bad idea this was and we should probably just put stuff back and leave and you still did it. So >> the woman tried to shift the blame onto her sister while insisting she was innocent. Yet she still begged for mercy as if she knew she was guilty. >> Send the video. >> Can I call my dad? >> You're you're under their custody. >> Can I call my dad? >> You can when you get to the jail. Okay. And then your sister can also let him know what's going on. Uh grab that green bag. That's sister's bag. >> Thank you. >> Thank you. He's outside. I told her left already. I don't know. I don't catch a truck. Ila, what did you tell them? I got to go to jail. >> No, I that you were saying that you didn't want to do it. >> Yeah. Please, please, please. >> At that moment, she resembled a child on their very first day of school. Terrified of going. The car door opening only intensified her panic. Yet she remained calm enough to act even more arrogantly. >> No, >> they said that they told me that she >> stop now. >> Put your hands behind your back right now. I'm not playing. Stop. >> You're not going to be there long. Just stop. >> Stop. Don't even help. I'm playing a ghetto. >> I got arrested. >> No. >> She showed no responsibility, jumping from calling her father to telling her boyfriend, then continuing the fake story with her friend. You know, like our bed on me and they end up on a teleport. >> I'm panicking. >> Take a deep breath. Stand up. Put your knees in your chest. >> I'm not going to be there long. So just take a tail. We'll guide you. >> I will put your hands behind so it's not put your hand behind you. That way it's not about to spend a day or what am I now? >> I I don't know. I would say you should be able to talk to a judge soon, but don't quote me. I don't work at the jail. Well, go find somewhere to charge it and then and then tell him that Do you know which I'm going to? >> Yeah. Champagne County. >> Champagne County. All right. I'll call you as soon as Call me as soon as you get home. Okay. I will. And I I tried to tell them it was my bag, but they kept blaming me. >> Doesn't matter. She was in possession of it. She was want to punch stuff inside of it. I get my shoes. >> Yeah, I'm grabbing them. I want to put them up front with me. >> Immediately after the arrest, officers approached the sister who had been with her. According to her statement, she also did not agree with the suspect's actions at all. >> Okay. You're not lying, are you? >> Yeah. I'm so bad. >> Okay. She said that you're her sister. Is that true? >> Well, she's like a sister to me. >> Okay. Cuz she was asking if you could call her dad or tell her she got arrested. Do you have her dad's phone number or something? No, but I have her boyfriend's number. I'm going to tell him about it. >> I just can't call him right now cuz my family is dead. >> Okay. Yeah, she can call anyways when once she gets to jail. She just wanted to do it for me. >> I'll just call him as soon as I get the chance. But yeah, I just don't want her to think like I was trying to blame her cuz I literally told you guys that my bad, you know, I don't want her to think about >> She was going to jail regardless of that because she doesn't want to give us her name. That's why she's sitting in there right now. >> Cuz then she said it was my fault. I just want to make sure you guys make it clear. I didn't say anything. um make it my fault. I didn't say anything right to make it my fault. >> Is she going to be in there for a whole day? >> Well, she has to wait till she sees a judge, which won't happen till tomorrow. So, >> what is the judge going to do? Just tell her >> most likely they're going to release her with the court date. That's what happens majority of the time. >> How long do they usually stay to her for stealing? Like a day. >> So, was the store like pressing charges on her? >> Yes. If they wanted to, they could press charges against you, too, since you're with her for everything, but they don't want to do that. >> Finally, the girl was charged with shoplifting, resisting arrest, obstruction, and criminal trespass. Trying to deny responsibility while begging for mercy only makes the consequences worse and exposes the truth even faster. Next, watch how this pitiful girl begged during her third theft. >> No, I messed up. >> You've done multiple mistakes. >> I know. I know. And I'm working on it. And if you're not working, >> if he was able to give me a chance, he would give me a chance. So, can you give me can you give me that chance? On December 12th, 2024, police received a call from a shopping center reporting a female suspect on the premises. When officers approached, she was attempting to push an entire cart of merchandise without paying, completely unaware of their presence. >> Hey, come here. >> Oh, sorry. >> Come here. Put yourself down. >> Okay. >> Put yourself down. >> What? >> He told me to go charge my phone to show you the online order. >> Okay. Hey, we're going to go this way. >> Can I grab my purse real quick? >> Where's your purse at? right there. >> Oh, it's coming with us. >> Okay, take a seat. There's a seat. >> So, the reason we have you in here today is this OC. >> Is this OC? >> What's that mean? >> Organizing for anyone? >> Oh, no. No. I just I just I just got my first apartment. And >> what's your middle name? It's my my dad's an initial M. >> I know I know you're an officer and I know you can extend courtesy and I know I'm getting a mistake, but please please don't send me to county. I I'll go to court. I'll do community service. I'll pay the fines. I [music] know I up. If you guys need to put me on a on a payment plan that I need to come here and pay everything, I'll do whatever. Just please don't send me to county. I've never been to jail and I just can't go to county. I can't do that. Tell my parents. I don't want to tell them. >> They'd be embarrassed. >> Well, you should have saw your parents before you started. >> I messed up. I know my hunt NYPD officer, so if you can extend any courtesy for me and just not take me to jail. >> The woman was easily identified by police as part of an organized retail theft ring, making her sobbing nothing more than a calculated attempt to beg for mercy. In reality, not a single tear was shed. >> Deal with every other consequence that I have to deal with. >> Have you done this before? >> Um, I did it once. Yeah. I think Target. >> Were you arrested for it? >> No. >> And another Walmart? >> Walmart? I never got arrested for it and it was not above like $300 >> a month ago. >> Yeah, actually at Walmart they took me county cuz it was there but that was that's not Oklahoma City County and I got a lawyer and I'm I'm doing everything I can. I This is my first time living by myself and I I don't know if you can see this but I had court November 5th and the >> what was it for? >> The Walmart situation and he dropped it to just disorderly conduct if I don't know if you can see that. >> Yeah, we'll be able to find it. So basically the deal is if you have a conviction for lar within 10 years you're going to go to jail. Okay. >> Like I have to go to jail. >> As long as it's more than $900 I have to go to jail. I will you can stack me up. >> If you don't have a conviction then you'll have to do that. But >> um I don't I don't think I don't have a con I don't think I have a conviction. >> Well then you're not you're probably not going to >> but if I do have a conviction can you take me to >> No. >> How will you know if I have a conviction or not? >> We're looking up. Her questions exposed her familiarity with the crime. Proof she had been through this many times. Yet, she begged without a trace of shame. >> There's no there's no courtesy you can extend for me to not >> Absolutely not. You're stealing. >> I know. I know. People make dumb mistakes. >> Well, there's consequences for you make bad decisions, right? >> And I'll make up for them in any other way. Just I don't want to go to I don't want to get raped. I don't want to go to jail. I don't want to get raped. >> Do you have a total yet? >> That's the last case from Brick from a month ago. >> Did it say the amount on that one? This one was 31576. >> Sorry, I'm talking. I'm just anxious. >> So, a conviction means that the judge said like I'm charged with this fine, right? >> Well, it's not a fine. >> I'm charged with the crime, right? Charge. Okay. That's not happening. No. >> Okay. He's looking it up right now. So, if if we do >> and then if I don't have a conviction, I'll just get a ticket and have to go to court. >> Maybe >> if you can any kindness any please don't put me to jail. >> Well, it's not a matter of kindness. >> I know it's I I made a mistake. I know I messed up. You've done multiple mistakes. >> I know. I know. >> And I'm working on it and it's >> you're not working on it because you did it again, right? >> I'm sorry. >> I can't I can't even believe that that you would a month ago get arrested for doing this and then come right back and do it again. >> I know. It's when when you when you don't have money and you're trying to make ends meet, you're you don't know what to do. >> Okay. I know a lot of people that don't have money that make ends meet without stealing. >> I know. I know. And and if my phone turns back on, like my lawyer made me make an appointment with my therapist and discuss it with them to like I can show you all of that and like I'm a good person. I'm an honor. I can show you that. Like this is just my first time living alone and I [ __ ] up, bro. I know I [ __ ] up. >> She claimed she had a lawyer, a therapist, and was still in school yet complained she had no money. Her pleading grew more blatant, as if it had worked for her in previous cases. >> [ __ ] stupid. You can do anything. Just don't take me to jail. Please, you can give me a fine. I'll do community service. I'll do anything. >> So, you are going to be trespassed from all Walmarts. You guys did it literally a month ago. >> Is that forever? >> Um, it's for 2 years, but so let's say you're on Sam's Club and they they can pull you up. >> Uh, it's like Walmart property. So it's all Walmart, Sam's Club, Walmart gas station, mer gas station, anything incorporated. >> So um next month I should be getting a pharmacy inspection job. If you guys give me the total amount of what I've stolen and I come and pay all the amount back, could you slip that? >> That's not my decision and that's not even like >> is that something that I could do though? Um, you'd have to contact our home office people and then they'll be >> So, could you give me a price of everything from both Walmart so that I can know so that maybe hopefully I have the funds and I can I can fix what I'm >> going to have to wait till you get >> Okay. >> All right. >> So, I'm sorry. I'm I'm I'm sorry I'm talking a lot. I'm just really anxious. So, it's your discretion to take me to jail or not? >> I mean, up to a certain point if you have a conviction now. >> Okay. So, if I have don't have a conviction, you won't take me? >> Not necessarily. We'll see. >> The woman stopped at nothing to avoid going to jail, even blaming and insulting herself as part of her desperate please. >> I just made a stupid decision. I'm just stupid. I'm a good person. Like, I do a lot. I do community service. I help people. I just made a terrible mistake today. But this is not who I am. It's my first time moving out. And I just I just I just wanted everything. And I'm stupid. I'm sorry. I don't know if you know the answer to this. If I do go to jail, do you know how long I have to be there for? I don't know. >> How much was it? >> 750. >> Okay. Was it 1,000? >> What was it? >> 750. >> $7.50. >> Oh, no. 750. 750. >> Okay. So, it wasn't a,000. Okay. >> So, the the 750 is the total amount that she took. Is that right? >> So, you think you're going to take me to jail? >> 750 is not looking good. >> It's not a,000. So, please >> I'm just telling you, you're pretty That's pretty close. >> I know. I know. It wasn't like in in the stuff about you being broker that >> No, I know. I know. I know. >> You're you're taking rugs and [laughter] >> I'm just taking house stuff like a vacuum, a mop like, >> you know, and I know $750 is not, but you know, it's not it's not a,000. So, if you can just give me that cuz it's not a,000. Please, just >> She seemed to treat $750 as a trivial amount. Hardly worth a charge. But something else clearly made her situation far worse that day. the issue surrounding her personal information. >> Here's the deal. Sorry it took me so long. It took me a while to find you in the system. Okay. >> It sounds like whenever you do that, you're just trying to change your name so that we don't >> Oh, no. No. That's why I gave you my address and I could give you my social security right now. >> No, no, I found you. I >> That's not my point. My point is >> No, I gave you both. I tried to give you and I also gave him both names, Edu as well. Yeah. Just cuz I don't know. >> You know, she got stopped with literally almost a >> Okay. Well, how did she spell her name to this one? >> Okay. Yeah, that's her name in the system. >> Well, that's not the name that she gave me initially. >> Okay. >> So, deal. Um, >> are you giving me false info? >> No, I didn't give you false. >> That could be an additional charge. Okay. >> Wait, but I gave you I gave you the correct spelling of both names, though. >> Bottom line is $691 worth of stuff. You're going to counting. Okay. >> Okay. No, you've done this multiple times. You obvious you just got arrested for it a month ago and you just did it again which shows us that you have absolutely no contrition for what you did. >> I know >> you weren't stealing essential items vacuum a broom. >> We're not talking about it. >> You're going to jail. Okay. >> But can I say something? My lawyer My lawyer told me that if it's not if it's below $500 that I don't have to go to jail. >> Your lawyer doesn't make this up on who goes to jail. >> Okay. I'm sorry. I don't I don't mean to offend you or anything, but >> please officer, I I I I know you want I know you want to take me to county. I know you do. But please, >> why would I want to do that? >> Because you're doing your job and I and I respect that and I respect that. But I also know I also know if I don't know like how this like there's someone ringed above you or anything. If he was able to give me a chance, he would give me a chance. Oh, can you give me can you give me that chance? >> In reality, this marked her third arrest. She had been given countless chances. Yet, she kept returning to the same path of theft. And by this point, it was clear nothing was going to change. >> Okay. So, we're going to refund the items that you paid for. So, they're going to take care of that. >> Can I keep the items or No, >> I mean, you're going to jail. You're not going to be allowed to have them there. >> Could I just like put put them in my car key cuz I'll take my car key with me. >> When you take a switch, what do you actually pay for? >> Yeah. So, I I think they're cutting you a break by giving me a refund. >> Okay. Can I Can I say one thing without you hating me? I will I will do it. Please. >> We should be good to go here then. Um you guys need anything else? All right, you guys take care. Go and stand up for me. All right. >> She faced a charge of merchandise lararseny. And no matter how convincingly she swore she would change, history repeated itself just months later, ending with a grand lararseny charge. Repeated mistakes erase second chances. Empty promises mean nothing when actions keep proving otherwise. Next, meet the older male version of Karen. >> You got an ID on you? I I want a grievance. Can you take your bag off for me? Just set it on the ground. You got an ID on you, huh? The man remained completely calm when confronted by police, [music] but they had already caught on to his lies. And he knew it, too. That's why moments later, he made a sudden, unexpected [music] move. >> You got an ID on you, huh? You got an ID on you. >> Put your back. Hold on. You want to put your hand behind? >> I'm on him. >> All right. >> Put your hand by your back. Put him up. Put him up. Give us your hand. Give us a hand. Okay. Stop resisting. Stop resisting. So, leave us your name so we know who you are. >> Okay. What's your last name? >> Is my last name. >> What's your first name? What's your first name? >> Shifting from denying he ran to admitting he did simply because he didn't [music] want to deal with the police. It was clear he had no intention of cooperating. Even when slightly calmer, he continued to make things difficult. >> You can't put your feet out and sit up. Just sit up. Just sit up. You can just sit Put your feet out. >> I'm trying to I'm all right. You You good? >> I think so. What are you looking for? >> Nothing. I was just >> I'm trying to tell you, man. That's it. So, you're detained. So, nobody's asking you a question. >> The man completely avoided acknowledging his wrongdoing at Walmart, portraying himself as the victim of the police. Even during the transport, every word he spoke was an attack on the officers. You ought to be able to talk a truth. >> You're just talking crazy. >> What do you mean talking crazy? >> You're talking about your mom. Nobody's talking about your mom. >> Tell me I ain't living with the law. >> Tell me that I don't live with the law. >> You don't live with the law. >> You [ __ ] >> You told me to tell you. >> You lie about everything you do >> and you're just saying crazy stuff. >> You're a liar. >> Okay. >> You're aing liar. >> You mother lie, man. You took my pockets, man. I got a receipt for everything in that bag. >> Okay. >> Did you take the receipts out my pocket? You took everything in my pocket. >> Is that a potato salad? >> That's potato salad. Or that's chicken salad. >> Yeah, we have a chicken salad. Um, just throw the bag and uh, let's put in the back seat. >> From running to disputing receipts, the man proved skilled at twisting the story as it unfolded, showing he was well practiced in manipulating the situation to his advantage. >> In my back pocket right now, man, he took everything. >> All right. We'll we'll we'll get to that. >> Yeah. How many items did he take? >> Do you want to scan the the rappers to see um to give you the exact price? I actually just sat down to to eat in the office and I saw him walking and I recognized him from the dead. >> The man was arrested for petty theft for the stolen deli items and for resisting without violence. [music] This incident shows how denial and manipulation can only prolong trouble. Trying to twist the truth or portray oneself as the victim never prevents accountability. It only escalates the consequences. In the next case, the girl realized she was not as smart as she had believed. No, >> because I'm black. I'm >> sure it's not because you're blah. >> No, because I'm black. >> I don't think so. >> I don't think you've been very truthful with me. Okay. >> On May 9th, 2024, authorities received a report from a bank about a woman suspected of committing transaction fraud. Police units were already positioned at the bank entrance, prepared to intercept the suspect the moment she stepped outside, >> cuz she can't she can only go out one way. I took a Uber. >> You took Uber with him. >> I was scared to find any of the Fox checks for me detained. >> Know what is going on? >> I I could only tell you once another unit gets here. The bank called. So, >> do you have an ID with you? investigation. Do you want to say with the caller? >> Do you have a Florida? >> No. >> ID or no? >> No. >> Okay. Are you from Texas or >> Did you live Florida? >> No, I stayed in Texas. >> Stay in Texas? >> Yeah. >> The woman appeared visibly shaken by what was unfolding. Yet her questions revealed she had already anticipated the trouble ahead and feared what fate awaited her. >> I don't know exactly what's going on. >> Yeah, I told once the unit comes here, I'll let you know. So, right now, I'm going to have to put you in separately in handcuffs. All right. So, just put your hands behind your back. You're not under arrest or anything. Okay. >> Right now, I just have to separately to change you. You want to lean forward and you could just see anything. So, you don't live in Florida? No. >> Are you visiting or? >> I'm visiting. >> Visiting? Uh-huh. You say you're dropped off by an Uber? Mhm. >> Did your Uber leave already or >> They left already. >> They left. Do you know what car they came in? >> Um, it was like a black car, but I don't remember the name. The type of car this. >> So, like I said, I'll explain everything once I get another unit over here with me. Okay. >> And once we do that, we'll try to see what's going on. Okay. Metro West Boulevard. >> Why are you laughing? >> Cuz that's weird. >> Why is it weird? >> Did the telephone call you guys? >> Mhm. For >> what? >> That's what we're trying to figure out. >> Her attitude gradually shifted. Perhaps she found the situation ridiculous. Or perhaps there was another meaning behind that reaction altogether. >> No, because I'm black. I'm sure it's not because you're black. >> Uh because I'm black. >> I don't think so. >> Have you ever had a Florida license or >> So you never like lived in Florida? >> Have you lived anywhere else other than Texas? >> Mhm. >> I've never been to Texas. >> Really? >> You should come. My dad >> I heard it's nice. >> My dad lives out here. Go ahead. >> She said call her before you come. Go call her. I don't want her here. >> Yeah. >> She said go call her before you come here. Yeah. >> Anyways, back to how I look. How old do I? >> 30s. >> 30s? You think I'm older than you? Damn, I have to go get a facial treatment soon, huh? >> I got to get some Botox. Saying I look 30 if you're 29 and I'm 30. >> You know some Asian you might look uh you might look older than you. >> The officers deliberately engaged her in small talk to ease the tension while another officer worked with the bank manager who raised serious suspicions about every move she had made. >> What happened today? >> She came in wanting access to the account and let me >> this account here. Yes. And anytime we pull up an account, if there's warnings or anything on, like it immediately starts flashing at us. And I and my teller needed overrides to get in. And once we start reading the notes, it says, "Please call the call." Um that she's committed identity theft. She's tried to open multiple accounts with different IEDs. That's just an example of one of the other ones that she >> But that was stuff that's already been done. What did she do today? >> Basically trying to get into this fraudulent account. >> She just tried to get in this account. >> Mhm. So this an active account? >> No, it's locked up completely. Yeah. And then she's presented that ID on the back there. I opened another account with that ID. >> The 1982 diss. >> Yeah. So she was just trying to get access to money today. >> Yes. >> I think we got enough unit so we don't need >> changing. At first she's like I need my online banking. I need to take money out. Now I need to put money in. She kept saying like all these different things. Um, but I couldn't do any of it. >> Yeah. Okay. >> 43 to 40. Um, it appears she came up here and tried to take money out of an account that has already been flagged for frazzling and stuff. >> From what the bank manager confirmed, the sophistication of her documents made it clear she had not acted alone. There had to be an organized operation behind it. Coincidentally, police had already encountered the remaining members inside a vehicle flagged as being used in the fraud. >> What's your name? >> Evans. >> Evans. What we're going to do is you step out of the vehicle. Okay. Any weapons, anything like that inside the vehicle? >> Okay. I'm just going to pull you out one at a time. Just keep your hands up on the steering wheel for me. You can put your phone on the dash right there. Just put your hands on the steering wheel for me. Okay. >> Open the door. Sergeant is going to grab your wrist and you're just going to step out. Okay. >> Just going to step out. Okay. You're going to turn around. Put your hands on top of it. Mhm. Okay. Like I said, you're just being detained right now. You're not under arrest in the car. >> I got pulling him off. >> Yeah. >> Making sure. >> Yeah. >> We got here. >> Yeah. >> Same. We got here the same time. >> Yeah. >> All right. Go ahead. Step out for me. Just keep your hands up. Yeah. Step out. Okay. Face the car. Okay. >> You're on probation, Bubba? >> Sure. >> You on probation right now? No, I'm on a >> What is that? >> Supervised release. >> No, that's just a monitor like for uh like that's just how they do it in S County like a GPS. >> Like do you have a PO that you talk to? >> You got right. >> So you got a PO that you talk to once a month or once a month. >> Nobody checking. >> Oh, okay. Okay. >> At this point, officers turned back to the woman and used the information provided by the bank to verify her statements, testing whether her story truly matched the facts. >> And when you open the account, was this the ID that you presented? Yes. >> Okay. >> So, is your first name Jessica? >> Jessica, New October. >> Okay. What's your date of birth? >> Uh, October 1st. >> What year? >> 1988. >> Okay. How tall are you? >> I'm 5'6. >> 56. Okay. How long have you had this driver's license? >> Um, >> how about 2 years? >> 2 years. Okay. Uh, since you've opened the account here at Additions, um, have you been having the money going in and out? Have you been making any deposits? >> So, that's exactly what I was trying to talk to them about. been the account has been has been acting weird like when I logged in it say that uh it was too much >> uh too much time so I've been trying to log into the account so when I >> like online >> yes that's why I came up here to talk to them about >> okay uh so since November and now have you been getting like direct deposits in the account to use the account regularly or >> No I haven't been using the account regularly the only time I try cuz I was going to put some money on on the account right now and >> Okay. >> I couldn't do that because they was telling me that they was trying to open finish um with the account. >> Okay. >> Uh or you going to deposit cash or check? >> I was going to deposit cash. >> Okay. So, do you have cash on you? >> Yes, it's in my wallet. >> Okay. How much how much cash is it? >> It's 100. >> 100? Mhm. >> Okay. So, you're coming to deposit 100 bucks cuz want to put money in the account. Everything pointed to impulsive lies spilling from her mouth, unaware that officers had already prepared additional documents to confront her with the truth. >> Do you recognize that ID? >> No. >> With your photo on it? >> No. >> You don't recognize that? So, according to Auditions Financial, they said you tried to open another account with that same ID with your photo on it, with a different ID, different name. You know anything about that? I mean, it's here. You know, the same photo that photo right and which is why we're here right now. If I told you that I talked to Miss Jessica on the phone before coming in and talking to you, would you believe me? Or do you think I'd be lying to you? >> I don't know. >> What do you think? I've been truthful with you this whole time. I don't think you've been very truthful with me. Okay. So, we can be truthful about what's going on or we can continue to lie about it. and I got a notate that you continue to lie to me about it. >> She had the right to remain silent. Yet that silence only reflected her despair at being exposed. Moments later, she admitted to the scheme she had carried out. >> Someone employing you? Are you getting paid to do this? >> I'm getting paid, right? >> Okay. How much are you getting paid? >> 500 >> 5,000 after what though? >> You're not getting 5,000 just for opening an account. What has to be done before you get to 5,000? >> Just this. >> Huh? >> Just this. >> Just open it and then eventually they'll hit the account for whatever they hit it for and then they'll break you off the five or they usually break you off the five up front. >> Uh, break it off the five up front. >> They break it off up front. Okay. Is it these guys that you with? >> Are they just working? >> Just driving. >> They just working just like like you work. >> Do you know them? >> Personally, no. just through through the job. >> No, they they not part of like I just asked them to drop me off to the um gas to the bank. So, they have nothing to do with it. >> Okay. So, they got nothing to do with it. You just know them. Y'all not friends or whatever. Y just know each other. >> No, we friends, but they not they don't have anything to do with >> what's going on in here. You just ask them, "Hey, give me a ride." >> Yeah. >> Okay. Uh, >> in the end, she was charged with fraudulent use of personal identification, possession of a fictitious license, and impersonation. Short-term gain is never worth long-term consequences. Once deception begins, it only leads to exposure, loss of freedom, and [music] accountability that cannot be avoided. Next, let's meet these electric sisters. >> Stop. Stop. Ronnie, please. On January 1st, 2023, police received a report that a U-Haul truck had not been returned on time and was suspected to have been stolen by a group of teenagers. When officers arrived at the scene, the suspects fled in multiple directions, triggering a scene of complete chaos. >> Stop. >> Why are we going to jail? Stop. >> All right. >> What are we getting arrested for? >> Can I get a It hurts. Please. >> Just relax. >> Why are we going to jail for? >> Why'd you run? >> Huh? >> Why'd you run? >> Cuz I was scared of her. Okay. >> That's not my purse. >> That's my sister's purse. >> Okay. She told me to hold it. >> She just rolled over and they tightened up. >> What happened? >> Oh, please don't tell me. Is it their U-Haul? >> What happened? >> Is it their U-Haul or something? >> Whose U-Haul? >> My sisters and nums. >> Oh, I don't know. >> Can I put on my slippers? >> Yep. >> Thus, this suspect appeared to have guessed the reason behind what had happened. Elsewhere, the next suspect was also located, and it could be said that the scene was no different from what HAD JUST UNFOLDED. >> DRIVER, STAY IN THE VEHICLE. SHOW ME BOTH HANDS. SHOW ME BOTH HANDS. STAY IN THE VEHICLE. SHOW ME BOTH HANDS. I CAN'T SEE YOUR LEFT HAND. STOP. STOP. PASSENGER. STOP. >> Passenger's walking away. She's running out back. Bail out. Bail out. Running. Steve. Stop. We're good. >> I'm sorry. >> You got the other guy. >> I'm sorry. The guy, we didn't see him in it. He was at the Dollar General. I don't know if you want to. >> Are there any kick your legs out? >> I don't want to. >> No. >> How old are you? >> I'm 18. >> I'm 18. I never went to jail. >> Driver, I never went to jail. >> Kick your legs out. Kick your legs out. >> I'm sorry. >> Just lay like that. Okay. >> Sorry. >> In reality, there was still another male suspect who had fled without a trace. At that point, officers proceeded to question the remaining suspects in an effort to obtain any information. >> Do you want to talk about what's going on today? How you ended up in this situation? >> They literally just picked me up. >> Who's they? >> My sisters and and her boyfriend. >> Your sister? Your sister and her boyfriend just picked you up? >> Yeah. The two girls and him. They just picked me up from town. >> They picked you up in what? >> The U-Haul? >> In the U-Haul truck? >> Yes. >> Okay. And then you what? Drove down here to the gas station. >> Yeah, cuz they needed to stop and get gas. Where were all you guys sitting at? Because, you know, it's a very small cab and you're talking a lot of people right here. >> Yeah, I know. What do you mean you're talking to a lot of people? >> It's a lot of people. >> I know. >> Like, technically, that's like a two-seater truck. >> That's what I You see, that's how I was talking. >> We got the other your sister's driving it. >> Yeah. >> You're a passenger. Her boyfriend is a passenger. You were in the back. >> Yeah. No, no, no. I was in the um passenger towards the door. I was >> So, you guys just all squished in the >> Yeah. And then when they picked me up, I said, "I see him. How the hell are we going to fit in?" And they're like, "Just get in." And they they hit me up asked me. >> So it was your sister, her boyfriend, and you? >> No, it's four. It's four of us all together. >> Who else? Who's the other person? >> What do you mean? There was two. It's two of us. It's two of us. Me, Gabriella. >> Gabriella. Ariana, and him. What do you mean? >> Did you say there's four of you guys crammed in there? >> Yeah, there's four of us. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Well, we seen you and him get out of the truck. Yeah, because we were going to we were going to come to we were coming to the Dollar General and I was like cuz we was cramped up in there. >> So you're cramped. So you So you're at the gas station. You say I'm cramped up. You want to come to the Dollar General. So you and your sister's boyfriend start walking down this way. >> Me and I decided to come walk >> instead of just getting back in the truck just to get back out to come in the store, you know. >> Oh, cuz your guys next stop was here. >> Yeah, I needed to come over here to get some femin. >> Okay, not a problem. >> According to the woman's statement, there were as many as four suspects involved. Moments later, police immediately broadcast this information to all responding units. >> She said there's um another female. There's two other females. Do you have the other female? >> So, we have four. We have four total, right? >> Okay. So, then Oh, there's one more that got away then. Okay. that popping sound what we heard cuz you can ask to me or just I got scared. Okay. >> I guess that's what scared me. I didn't know if it was I didn't know I got scared. Obviously I'm being honest with you, you know. >> And then you know obviously Okay. I didn't hear when you said you were going to tase me after. I didn't hear that right away. >> Well, I said stop. >> Yeah. I didn't hear you because adrenaline rush is going. You know, I'm I'm scared. You know, I'm trying to figure out what the hell's going on. I feel like we're getting bum rushed. Well, and the way it looked for me when we're approaching you, you started running this way away from everybody. Then when you seen the other law enforcement officers here is when you decided to start going across traffic versus continuing southbound, right? So that that's why I felt like you had to have seen all the cops over here that were entering the driveway to get to the U-Haul truck. >> That's I seen I seen the ones over here. >> So that's when you started going that way across the road. >> I'm not going to lie. I got scared. >> But my thing is this. If you if you got scared if you got scared and then you seen law enforcement, wouldn't you run to the law enforcement? Say, "Hey, I'm scared. I heard like maybe a possible gunshot or something. >> Listen. >> Okay. Not a big deal. All right. Not a big deal. So you hear Did you hear me say stop at all? >> Huh? No. I didn't hear the stop at first. When you tased me when you tased me and I heard you the second time when you said it again, that's when I heard you heard the second first time. Okay. All right. So here's the deal. You had a a purse on you. >> Yeah. That's my That's the um Gabriella's purse. >> Okay. You're saying my envelope that I just put in there. in my envelope. >> As questioning continued, officers raised [music] further suspicions beyond the incident at hand, pointing to another underlying offense linked to this woman. >> Here's the deal. You had a a purse on you. >> Yeah, that's my that's the um Gabriella's purse. >> Okay. >> My mail, my envelope that I just put in there, my envelope. >> All right. >> But that's not my purse. >> Well, that was my next question. Your name on documents that are in the bag, but you're saying it's not your bag. >> No, that's my You can answer it. That's her purse. So, let me ask you a question. If your sister is in the U-Haul truck, right, >> and you're going to meet up with her over here, why would you take her back? Why just let her take her own bag? >> No, because my envelope was in there. You see? And I left my phone in the truck. My phone was the one in the truck cuz it was charging. >> Yeah, your phone was in the truck, right? >> Yeah, it was charging. She gave me her phone. She gave me her phone, which was the one that y'all picked up, I hope, from the ground. >> Yes. So, you have your sister's phone gave me from the ground. In my envelope, I had >> So, even though the purse belongs to her, your stuff is inside of there. >> The envelope. >> The envelope. Okay. Here's the deal. I'm keeping it real with you. I mean, you're you're not really keeping it. >> I am keeping it real with you. >> I don't think you're 100% honest on this whole deal. Here's the deal. There's also there's also white powder substance. Okay. A straw. And there's also a piece of >> Hell no. We don't do I don't know. Y'all can test me. I don't do I don't none of that. Uh-uh. Trust me and everything. >> Can I Can I tell you something? >> Yes. >> You have a little bit of white powder on your nose right now as I'm looking at you. >> I don't have police gave her a chance to be honest, but she lied blatantly, unable to even look the officers in the eye as each lie left her mouth. >> You don't know what the powder on your nose is that you have right now? You want me to take a picture of your face so you can see it? >> No, I don't have to. You don't have to know. You don't have to. >> You have You have white powder all up in your nose right here. >> I know you you don't have to. No, you don't have to take a picture. I don't I know you're not lying to me. >> Okay. Well, you're saying no. No. No. >> I don't do. >> But you snort. >> No, I don't. >> Then what's the white powder substance that's all on your nose and everything? In your nose. >> Um, >> yes. >> Okay. So, it's >> um Yeah, I'm being honest with you. >> Okay. >> I'm not I'm not lying. >> Well, okay. So, you're saying no, no, no, no. >> It's not good, but you do. >> We are. >> Okay. I'm just trying to cuz here's the thing. What I'm Okay, this this Okay, I appreciate it. What I'm getting at is I want to try and identify this powder substance that's in his bag because I don't want I'll make sure it's not another officer gets hurt out here. Okay, that's my concern cuz it really didn't look like but you had rock with the powder. So, I'm thinking it might be and there's a straw with it. Okay. I don't know nothing about no powder. >> You don't know about the powder? >> No, cuz this is that I just >> We all We all do. We all do. >> Well, I'm going to test it and we'll go from there. >> You can test it, sir. All right. Because then the envelope, that's my envelope. I had a blue card in there. >> Elsewhere, another police unit apprehended the man connected to the incident. And it appeared that he was the one truly behind the stolen U-Haul. >> What's your name, my man? >> Jeremiah. >> Jeremiah. Hey, have you ever read your rights read to you before? >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, basically, that just means that you're in custody cuz you got handcuffs on >> and you're not free to leave. So, I want to ask you a couple questions. I got to read them to you before we talk. Okay. >> You have the right to remain silent. Do you understand? >> The lady read it to me. She wrote it to me. >> Oh, someone already read it? >> Yeah, she read it to me. She was bored. She wanted to talk to >> Oh, okay. Yeah. She forgot to mention that to me. >> I was just asking if I was arrested. >> Okay, perfect. So, you're already aware of all that. >> All right, my man. Um, whose U-Haul is that? >> Uh, I only rented it, but >> how long did you rent it? >> It's been like a month. >> Okay. >> A month or some change. >> When were you supposed to return it? >> Uh, for my knowledge, we kept it or at least using my name. I didn't know this [ __ ] was coming after me. How long you think >> I would have turned it in to y'all? Like I would have did I would if I would have known I would have turned in like you know like they were charged with failure to return a vehicle, vehicle theft, and possession of [music] an illegal substance, running from the police, and lying only made the situation worse, turning a manageable mistake into serious criminal charges. But this woman thought she could steal a law enforcement job. >> You're not a police officer. >> No, you're not. Not with the not with teeth like that. A rule. >> Did not get a chick kick. >> You can't give me a ticket. >> On April 29th, 2025, a man went to the police station to report an incident that had happened in the Walmart parking lot where a strange woman had come over and left a scolding note on his car. At that moment, the man who was a First Amendment auditor felt something was wrong. So, he explained everything. >> So, I parked where it says reserved for law enforcement. >> Okay. >> Partners. >> Do they have that at the neighborhood Walmart? >> Okay. I knew they had it at the park there sometimes. I have a foot today. So, I was like, I'm just going to I had I literally had to run. >> That's just a courtesy. There's no law against it or anything. >> Well, thank you. >> Yeah. And you're telling me that somebody said something. So, >> so this is the [clears throat] >> Here, I'll hold it. >> The note that I came out. >> Somebody left this on your car. >> I Well, I have I have her on camera, too. >> Okay. >> She's flashed a badge at me. >> And she So, I went into Walmart to ask them about the note and about the parking. Can I get towed for parking there? They said, "Absolutely not." >> I guess she I guess the person the person who wrote this note >> overheard. So, I was walking. I was like, "Whatever. I'm walking back out to my car >> to go home >> and I found this. Well, I found that first and when I was walking back from Walmart the second time, she comes out, flashes her badge. >> She was wearing um I think white shorts, Crocs, and a tank top. >> Seemed like off duty or was it like professional wear? Like was she look like she was working at the time or anything? >> No, she claimed that she was she was on the clock >> in Walmart working on something in Walmart. Walmart asked the managers because she was talking to the managers. >> Yeah. >> Asked the manager. She says, "Well, we don't know what she's doing. She may be working is what they said." I said, "Okay, well, whatever." >> Through his story, the man showed just how irrational the woman had been. And not only that, he also provided the video that captured their tense confrontation during the incident. There's no statue. >> There's no statue. No, there's not. Show me the statue. >> Is there a You're the police officer. Why don't you look it up? >> But why don't you look it up? >> But you should already know it. You tell me what this statute. Tell me what the statute is. >> Does it say anything about the car would be towed? You're not a police officer. >> No, you're not. Not with the Not with teeth like that. Not with teeth like that. >> Yeah. The last thing. >> That's the note I got. >> Tell me what the statue tell me what the statue >> I don't recognize her. >> Yeah, I know. >> No, she's definitely not ours, but >> I mean it could be flash twice before I could record. I was going to say, yeah, maybe I can see on that, >> but it was a Belleview. Is there a town in Florida called Belle? It was a Belleview badge. It was all jacked up and looked like that's not It was a Belleview badge. That's what she said. >> Things even grew more tense and the man decided to walk into the store to find out the origin of the badge and ask the employees directly about the incident. >> She's flashing a badge around like she's a police officer, and she's not. >> She's not a police officer. >> You leave it alone, sir. >> Yeah. But are you guys going to tow my car? >> No. >> Thank you. See, you heard what she said. Your cars can't be towed. You're not a police officer. >> Why are you flashing a badge at me telling me you're a police officer and you're not? You're going to be in trouble for that. >> Where would I get a badge from? You buy it off. >> Do you just carry your badge around when you're off duty? >> I'm not off duty. How do you know what I'm doing? >> You're You're on duty with Crocs on. >> Do you know what I'm doing right now? >> I don't care what you're doing. >> I don't care what you're doing. You broke a rule. >> That's not a rule. There's difference between rules and laws, ma'am. >> That's a rule. >> You did not get a ticket. >> You can't give me a ticket. >> Give me a ticket. I'm going to stay. I'll be right out here. Please give me a ticket. I'm asking you to please. >> Assault officer. >> Assaulting an officer. [laughter] Nobody saw me assault her. that I saw. [laughter] >> This is It's already generated like I don't know how many views like since two I just put this up two hours ago. >> Oh yeah. >> Mark did for me. >> Yeah. >> Now you guys want this? >> Yeah. Sure. >> Yeah. >> After receiving the evidence, the police began investigating the case. Based on the information provided by Walmart, they discovered that the woman was working as a caregiver for a retired officer suffering from severe memory loss. At that point, they arrived at the location to proceed with her arrest. >> Run, but your hands were behind your back if you fall down. Maybe come around. >> Probably come around the front. >> Does this button unlock? Is this for the car? Oh, that's for >> Oh, it's already >> Oh, >> so if you open the door >> Yeah. And see that little black thing on the top? It's got the push button right in the center above the air conditioner. >> Oh, yeah. In there. >> Right in there. >> This >> That's the one. >> Do you want me to actually lock it >> or? >> No, it's fine. >> All right. Uh, let's go see if we can find your dad. I'll put the keys back inside. Okay, >> so the badge was found and she admitted to the impersonation. Everything she did had been impulsive, leaving even her own family shocked by it. >> Alexis [snorts] is is going to be placed under arrest. Okay. Um I'm not sure if you know about Did you tell him about that whole incident at Walmart? >> A chance to >> Okay. Um do you want me to get into it with him? Um the day officer coats came by earlier that day she had a confrontation with a gentleman over at the Walmart market here. Um while um she had a concern a fair enough concern about an individual parking in a law enforcement only spot there. Um while addressing that with them, she identified herself as an officer and actually wrote a note on there like this is a warning from the Port Orange Police. um ended up showing them this badge here and and saying she's an officer. So um unfortunately >> of a serious the incident itself never really turned into anything serious. They ended up going their separate ways, things like that. But in general, something like this could be very serious. Somebody impersonating officer, whether it be with a badge or blue and red lights on their vehicle. >> Do you have that badge or you keeping it? It's going to go into evidence for right now. But >> that's Jim's back. >> Yeah. No, I know. It It'll It'll be returned to him. Um, but I'm not just going to leave it here to >> She was arrested and charged with impersonating a law enforcement officer. Even small acts of deception can spiral. Pretending to be law enforcement destroys trust and creates danger. Stay honest. Truth keeps situations from becoming disasters. Next, the man ran everywhere except to work. Somebody call the police on me. >> Absolutely. >> For real? >> Yeah. Come on. Who did? >> On August 10th, 2024, police received a report about a man behaving suspiciously while shopping inside a Walmart. According to the surveillance footage, he pushed a cart loaded with merchandise to the back of the store, then glanced outside as if checking for any sign of officers. Within minutes, every item in the cart had been bagged as though it had already been paid for. Another man appeared nearby, suspected to be his accomplice, and the two exchanged a quick look before parting ways. After a brief greeting, the suspect confidently pushed the unpaid cart toward the exit, unaware that police were already closing in. The moment he stepped outside, the entire scene erupted into a chaotic [music] chase through the store. This was what happened next. >> Checking for the door. >> Close right here. >> Yeah. >> I was trying to see why. >> You should just stop. >> Huh? >> You should just stop. >> I did. >> Stand him up. I ain't going to stand up like that. Roll up. >> I'm trying to. >> I know there is. >> Please pull me. >> I got you. >> What? I did though. Tell me this. Why y'all was already waiting on me to come out the door? Somebody call the police on me? >> Absolutely. >> For real. Yeah. >> Come on. >> Who did? Who called the police? Cuz you was waiting on me. All right. Listen, do I got to go jail? >> Absolutely. >> Why? >> Cuz you ran. >> Please, man. I don't even >> Oh, well, man. >> Father God. Sorry. Damn. That was so cool, man. I ain't I can't say this is not but I got people that's here with me man. Can I at least tell them? >> You'll be able to tell them at the jail. >> No, I'm talking about here now cuz I ain't going to be able to contact him and let them know nothing, man. >> I wonder who the [ __ ] called the police on me, man. >> The man claimed he had a friend in the area, but never mentioned anything about having an accomplice. It was highly likely this was part of an organized theft, especially when he began begging desperately for leniency. >> OD, I'm just saying, man. I'm trying to comply, but I want to I want somebody to know I'm going to jail. >> You can let them know when you get down to the jail. >> Why I got to let them know when I get down there, though, sir? What What's your first name? >> It would have been easier if you would have just not done all this. >> I mean, [ __ ] >> So, now we're cooperating. We're just going to finish this up and go from there. >> What's your first name? >> Sam. >> And what's your birthday? >> 89. These cuffs are tight though. All right, we'll check it in just a second. You have a George ID, >> huh? >> You have a George ID? I don't. >> Where's it out of? >> Where's it out of? Florida. >> Florida. What's your middle initial, man? >> It wasn't even a >> your arm. It uh you might have skin rash right here. >> A little blood right there somewhere. your hand. >> You call it too? >> No, cuz I mean it was the puncture wounds from it were nothing. I don't know where >> what >> at that moment. Officers stepped into the loss prevention office to verify more details and it became clear that the man had been extremely calculated in carrying out his wrongdoing. >> This initially came down off everything. >> Mhm. >> Yeah. Was looking for exit. We already closed our guard center at this point. I was wondering if he went to the fire exit. Happy he didn't, but that' be more suspicious. But then he paused for a little bit. >> That's when he went to grab bags. >> Yep. Just he checked in there trying to see if there was a way he could get, you know, through guard center, but like I said, we locked it. >> That's when he bags his items. >> Yep. So, we don't I don't actually have him bagging items. He uh was in a blind spot. >> Mhm. But >> but you do have him not going to a register. >> Oh yeah. Yeah. Hell yeah. >> There we go. That's all we need. >> Yeah. Eventually. >> Is there any way you can get all those different uh >> Oh, yeah. On all one disc. Yeah. >> Yeah. Get them in order and everything so y can see. >> That's going to be wonderful. >> Yeah. I got you. Yeah. So, comes here. >> Hold on. Go back to that one real quick. Go back a little bit. >> What was that? >> Yeah. So, his buddy was in the store. He actually just walked off. Um, but technically he didn't do anything like so, you know, charge him with knowing someone who did a crime, but >> Yeah. But he didn't actually help or anything. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> 668. >> 668. Wonderful. >> Yeah, absolutely. It is. On the way to the jail, he admitted why he chose stealing over getting a job. And he revealed that his mindset had already been braced for whatever consequences came next. >> It's all the karma that I just couldn't I'm going to be honest with you, man. I couldn't work cuz I had a violation of probation. You see what I'm saying? >> Yeah. Is this the jail? >> Yeah. >> Oh man, they let people out every day on him. LCJ any 61023. >> Hey man, could you make sure I get good people around me, man? >> Huh? Huh? What's your name is? Edward. >> What? >> What's your name? >> My name is Murphy. >> Murphy. >> Yeah. >> Hey, Murphy. Man, >> I appreciate the talk, man. >> Not a problem. >> I hate that I even had to do on the end of this. >> Not funny. It's not It's not fun in there. >> Not fun at all. >> What they how they jail is? >> I don't know the inside. Hold on. >> Is it a bad jail? >> Um I have no clue. I've never been to jail. So I don't know. >> I'm saying I know you don't heard about it. >> I know. >> Oh, y'all do have a prison down here. >> Yeah. >> What prison is it? >> What? >> What prison is it? about state prison. >> Oh, that's a state prison. That's one. >> Oh, yeah. >> He was ultimately taken to the Vald Dosta State Prison and charged with petty theft, obstruction of a law enforcement officer, and an active warrant that had been waiting for her. Taking the easy way out only led him deeper into trouble. Responsibility and honesty would have spared him far more pain than any quick shortcut ever could. First, meet this woman, completely unconscious of her lies, treating them if it were a habit. I I came up here. You know what I'm saying? I'm not going to lie. I'm on the bus. I had to get off right here so I could go to the bathroom. >> Your name The name that you gave me is not is not a real name. >> It is my real name. >> Okay. You either give me the wrong last name or the wrong first name. >> On July 19th, 2024, the police were dispatched to Sam's Club after a suspect fled following an attempted theft of several items. The officers arrived immediately and what happened next unfolded. >> What's going on? >> Yeah. Cuz Sam's Club told us that you uh stole some items from >> I didn't steal no items from Sam's Club. >> Okay. All right. >> I I came up here. You know what I'm saying? I'm not going to lie. I'm on a bus. I had to get off right here so I can go to the bathroom. >> Okay. All right. Do you have your uh You got your identic? >> No, I do not. >> Okay. First name brother. Black female Illinois. >> The woman completely denied ever entering the store. Even though her car sat right outside, police pressed her for details, exposing the lies, especially with her shopping cart still there. >> So, how'd you get all this stuff? >> I came here with this stuff. >> Uh-huh. You came in there with that stuff? >> Yeah. You like to take a [ __ ] I get off the bus, take a [ __ ] >> Okay. >> Where you coming from? Um, I was living from um Fallon. >> Oh, for real? You stay You live in Fallon? >> No. >> Oh, you don't? All right. >> At this point, Sam's Club staff arrived. They said she not only engaged in suspicious shopping behavior, but her attitude toward them afterward was also seriously problematic. >> So, um, our policy at the exit door is to check people's receipts. Most of the time if people bring in like their old cold or hot bags to put their stuff in, they'll use that bag, but they'll still unzip it and let us scan the items inside. She she got quite a few bags and she said she just came in to use the restroom. Um came out in Yeah. But then coming out and she got real aggressive with the lady at the door was cussing me but walking real fast and just came over here. >> You got you want to pursue charges for theft. Correct. >> Yeah. if if that's what she she did. But I truly feel like she was taking stuff from out of her purchase. >> She got like four or five. She got four or five like >> big 1.75 those gallons of Cheetos. >> Yeah. >> So you guys do got her on camera stealing it. >> Yeah. I mean, no, we we caught her walking out. So we I can go and pull up the cameras from her actually putting the stuff in. That take time. Um but as far as us seeing her come out, yeah, she came right out and all I want to know is you're pursuing charges. That's all I want to know. Yes, sir. >> All right. If you want to stay, uh, >> I can go back a side of this way. >> With all the staff's statements and the woman's blatant lies, the police made their decision regarding the suspect. >> Hey, can you face that way for me? >> Put your head lines back. Can you guys trust? All right. Can I explain everything to you here in a second? Okay. Give me just a sec. Okay. Here's here's a I'm I'm going to lock these cuffs real quick. Okay. Just a second. >> Ain't got no ID on you at all by chance. Okay. Here's where we're at right now. >> I've been pretty cool with you so far, haven't I? >> Mhm. >> Okay. I've been pretty cool with you so far, haven't I? >> Okay. Your name The name that you gave me is not is not a real name. >> It is my real name. >> Okay. You either give me the wrong last name and the wrong first name. Okay, you either spelled it wrong. Let me I'm going to double check and see what Okay. >> Even after being arrested, she showed no shame for her actions. Instead, she remained calm and defiant. Gradually, some truths emerged, including that her previous identity was fake. >> So, your last name is Right. >> Mhm. >> Correct. Okay. Right. Mhm. >> Okay. Your date of birth is what? >> That that name's not coming back. So what's what's what's your real name here? >> My name is >> Okay. What's your last name? I'm going to tell you what. You keep telling me a fake name. I'm I'm going add another charge for on top of the for obstruction. Like I said, I'm I'm willing to cut you a break right here if you give me your real name, but if you give me your another fake name again, I'm I'm going to add obstruction to your uh your charge. Okay? So, it's however you want to play it. Like I said, I'm not trying to be rude to you. I I I got a job to do. You know what I'm saying? I know you're probably falling on hard times right now. I'll work I'll work through that for you. Okay? I'm going to cut you a break right now. Okay? So, you want to try this again? Give me your real name. >> I gave you my real name, sir. >> Okay. All right. >> The woman still chose to lie. Behind that brazen attitude, there was no sign of shame. Even after stealing the entire shopping cart, she would still have to face the full consequences of her actions. >> Missouri. >> I tried Missouri. >> Okay. Well, we're we're going to take your fingerprints. We're going to figure out who you are. It would it would be it would be much easier and would be a huge benefit if you if you're not telling us the right name. We we just need to know. But [music] like I said, we're going to take your fingerprints. We're going to find out who you are. So, we just need you. We would just would really appreciate it if you gave us a real name or if it's like a wrong name, broke, something just, you know, Okay. So, Officer Bond's going to get that for you. In the end, the woman was charged with retail theft. Even after being arrested, she stayed calm, defiant, and kept giving false information about her identity. No matter how confident one feels, dishonesty and theft inevitably lead to consequences. Next, the woman continued to lie, remaining naive and deceiving herself. >> You can have your number. >> Yeah. Okay. I told you. >> God, >> right? If you want to spend the night in jail, you tell me. >> Okay. Okay. Well, I had somebody come in here and stealing. >> On May 10th, 2022, officers responded to a report from Walmart about a woman accused of stealing from another Walmart before coming here. The suspect identified as Celesta had already been trespassed. When officers approached, she carried a look that was completely suspicious. >> Come here. >> Celestea. >> Yo, they're Celeste Aggera. >> Can I do this return? Come with me. >> Huh? >> Come with me. Let her do this return. >> What are you returning? >> She's not allowed to return them. I already told her. She never has. >> Hey, >> look. >> You also trespassed in the store, too. >> You cannot. You have to have the PIS receipt. You go out there and you scan them into there and then you come in here and try to return. >> I just return. It says, "Show this item that says >> because you uploaded your receipt that you stole out of the parking lot." >> Wait, I just bought this stuff. >> You did the receipt. >> Oh my god. >> Where's the receipt? >> That's a receipt. She said, "I can't um That's all what I bought." >> Mhm. >> I'm trying to return it. She's all like, "You stole this stuff." >> Yeah. I don't be in the store. >> Put your hands on your back. >> Really? >> Yep. >> Her arrest came from the trespass alone. She thought a scarf could hide her identity, but it only made her easier to spot. Yet, she still believed it was just about shoplifting and denied everything. Thank you. >> Check the cameras cuz I didn't steal none of this. >> Can you check footage and see when she came in? >> Yeah. >> Check real quick. >> Cuz I did not steal this. I don't appreciate being accused of this. >> If I If I If I didn't steal, you let me go or can you just write me a citation? >> Well, we'll discuss that. >> Yeah, cuz I didn't steal this. >> You with him? >> No. No. >> Yeah, it's fine. I'm not going to run him. >> No. No, I'm not with him. I just bumped him at the store. These are what, like 30 bucks a piece. >> 15.94 for these ones. But the underwear is like 15. >> Those are 15 bucks >> each one. Something like that. Or 12. Yeah. >> No, I'm not expensive. >> And that's not really expensive nowadays. That's not >> Do you want one or two copies? >> I need one copy. You have I need two copies. While officers were still checking the merchandise, a man walked up and casually admitted he had hooked up with the suspect before. What followed turned into an even stranger scene. >> Hello. >> How you doing? >> Are you with her? >> No, we used to hooked up every once in a while and I'd lost her number. >> Uh-huh. >> And then I saw her walking through here and like, "Hey, how you doing?" And then you guys rolled in. I was like, >> "Never mind." [laughter] >> And you you had just seen her when she was walking this way. Yeah, I was just we were just passing each other. I was walking out. >> Uhhuh. >> So I was like And then you guys showed up. I'm like, "No." >> Gotcha. What was your name? >> My name is Sam. >> Sam. >> How you doing? >> All right then. >> Is he going in tonight? >> What's up? >> Is she going? >> Probably. >> Probably. >> It's up to him. >> He's asking Can I have your number? >> Yeah. I know. >> Job party for her. >> What's your phone number? >> Okay, we're going to be up there at loss. >> She was then taken to loss prevention where officers pushed harder for the truth because up to this point, all she had done was lie. >> Want to spend the night in jail? You tell me. >> Okay. Well, I had somebody come in here and steal it. >> Okay, that's better. You understand that? >> Yes. win. >> Cuz if you had somebody come in here and steal it, I want to know who did it. I >> I didn't come in here. I didn't have them come in here. So, they choose to come in here and steal it. >> Okay. Well, let's win. >> About 10 minutes ago. 950. >> Okay. Male or female? >> Female. [music] >> Okay. Well, she look like you. Uh you know Mona, bigger chick. >> No, I don't know Mona. >> She's a fatter chick. She uh she's Smiley's mom. >> Who's Smiley? She just got I don't know her last name. It's Mona. I know her first name. She just got out of prison recently. >> It was more than 10 minutes ago because from the time we make contact with you coming in here. >> Yeah, it was more than 10 minutes ago. It was sometime tonight, but it was like it was like between 9 and 98. >> I think it's Mona. I don't know her last name. >> She threw out another name, claiming that the woman had stolen the items and asked her to return them. But she had no idea the officers knew exactly who that Mona was. >> Of Mona. Um, I've dealt with her. I arrested her and put her in prison. Um, it's not her mom either. >> Oh, I don't know. She says she's not his mom. >> But yeah, I put one in prison. At least I thought I did. >> She just got out. She just got out recently. >> She They must have gave her a court date because I know I put her in prison. She was on probation. She was dating some dude named Cherokee. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Yeah. And I put her in prison because she had 8 ounces of meth on her. >> Yeah. Exact same. >> Yeah. Mona. I got her. She confessed to it and everything. >> All right. Let's go. Yeah. That receipt. The cashier. Cashier's got your other one. >> You want to jail? >> Yeah. >> Really? >> Yeah. Because you conspired. So, sit down real quick. >> Really? You said >> Yeah, I did. But you know what? Thought you conspired with Mona. >> I didn't know that she I didn't know. I didn't know she she stole that. That's a part. Oh, I know. >> What's a hipster? Those are the the words, right? >> Yeah. I'm going to jail. Really? >> Yeah. And you're trespassing. West Cargo. Those are the men's jeans. >> Can you just write me a vacation? >> No. Woolly brush. What is that? >> I don't know. >> Come on. >> I didn't know. >> Thank you. Finally, the woman was charged with trespassing and shoplifting at Walmart. Trying to cover up wrongdoing only makes the consequences worse. Honesty from the start would have spared her from arrest in additional charges.
