They said stop. I mean stop. >> And then you decided to throw all the stuff on the ground and then just leave, which is not how shoplifting works. >> Oh my god, my ankle. You broke your combo. Let's just >> quit playing with me. Oh my god. >> Stand and walk. >> Hey, can you start the wagon for a female? >> Go ahead and cover me. >> Where? I ain't got nothing this coming. We often save surprises for special days to celebrate. But for shoplifterss, those moments can be when they are caught red-handed. And clearly, their ending is far from a happy one. Here are the times when woman gets caught red-handed shoplifting at Walmart. Beginning with this woman, she was surprised by what she had gotten herself into. >> Why are you making me arrest? >> Listen, look at me. Look at me. Why we're arresting you is cuz you just stole >> No, you just called me aing piece of >> I'm sorry. I'm sorry. >> No, you're going to jail now. Please, I'm really >> No, that's how it works. >> On the 1st of November, 2025, officers responded to a Walmart after receiving a report of an ongoing shoplifting incident. A woman had been watched after she was seen concealing several items in her bags. This was what happened when the officers arrived at the scene. >> How you doing, Bash? >> Oh, he said he was here, but he must not be here yet. >> I haven't seen anyone yet. Sorry. >> Sorry it took so long to hear. >> So, it's this one right here. She just put back the dress right now and some of the jewelry, but she still got some other. >> It's a cheap jewelry. It's not that expensive. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> But she put some other in some of the white >> the white bags that she's running right now. >> I don't know what she's doing right now. Do you have an one? >> I got one. Oh, one there. >> Oh, there she is. >> That one right there. >> Yeah. >> Oh, yeah. We're going to talk with her in just a second right after one. Hello. >> Hello. >> So, she's been walking on apparel. She's just going around and around. She's selecting >> just >> I got six. So you will go now. We're not going to be able to wait. >> It's your fault if you want to go. We can go and ask her inside or we can wait for her to try to exit. >> Well, I mean it's it's >> What do you guys want? Do you guys want her to Do you want your stuff back or do you want to catch her for that? >> Well, I would like to trespass her and persecute, but if you tough her inside, we're not going to be able to do that. >> If we stop her inside, >> correct? because she might say, "Oh, I was going to pay for it." >> Yeah. >> But the thing is that if I ask you guys to wait, I don't know how long you're going to be able to wait till >> How long has she been in the store already? >> I think for like about an hour. >> Yeah, she's for like about an hour. Additionally, while monitoring her, Walmart employees noticed several unusual behaviors from the suspect, which made them even more suspicious of her. >> But her friend already left. >> Yeah, she was with a male. The male was on the phone the whole time and she was on the front end like this like she was falling asleep. So that's what I told the operator that probably she's under some influence. >> Yeah. >> But she was like she was fallen. Um, and then she'll start walking and selecting the merchandise. >> She going to exit all at the front. >> Yeah, she's coming to the front right now. Hopefully, she's gonna try to exit >> cuz she has been do the exactly same thing like three, four times. She walked to the back and then come back in and go apparel. >> So, let's She's going to check out right now. Is that where she just turned to or no? Oh, went back. Oh, >> she just turned into the funeral. >> This is the front towards us. Yeah, she just put the dress in one of those. >> Sh. Let's see if she selected once again cuz she just selected dress. The dress fell so she grabbed it and put it on one of the rides. >> I think she's walking to the dress. Yeah, she's walking to the dress. >> I think already got it. >> She like hit it or something. >> No, she concealed. Oh, yeah. The dress is right there. >> She concealed. >> She concealed the dress inside her jacket, but it fell. So she just grab it from the floor and put it on the front. >> Oh, >> at this point the surveillance ended when the suspects started heading outside. Everyone moved in to approach her by surprise. >> Yeah, she's going to accident. They said stop. That means stop. >> I don't have any more stuff on me. >> Better way. Police. Put your hands behind your back. >> It's all in there. I don't have anything on your left. I promise. It's all in the bag. >> I'm not. >> Relax your arms. >> Why are you arresting me? >> Relax your arms. Stealing. I put Yeah. It's in the bag. I >> relax your arms. Why are you waiting? Please don't arrest me. >> Listen, look at me. Look at me. Why we're arresting you is cuz you just stole. You don't get to drop the items. And that's how it works. >> I'm sorry. Please. >> No, you're not. You're sorry. You got caught. That's what it is. >> No. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Please don't arrest me. I'm begging you. >> Too too late. You're already arrested. >> I'm begging you. Please don't arrest me. >> No, you wouldn't. Cuz you didn't even want to stop. I was done using. >> She played innocent, pretending she had no idea what she had done, even after denying the theft herself. And of course, that act didn't fool the nononsense cop. >> You talking about yourself? >> William, you're the one stealing. And then and then when told you're stealing, you tried to run away. >> Have a seat. >> Whatever. >> Guess who's going to jail now? You. No, you just called me a [ __ ] piece of >> I'm sorry. I'm sorry. >> No, you're going to jail now. >> Please. I'm >> No, that's how it works. >> And you had more in your pockets. >> Those are mine. I got those from Target. Those I got from Target. >> You probably stole those from Target, too. >> No, I did not. I bought those. >> I bought those. I didn't >> No, I got >> Okay, stand up real quick so I can search. All right, go ahead and take a seat. >> What's your name? >> Maryanne. Is that one word? >> As pitiful as she tried to look, she clearly showed no real remorse. On top of that, officers discovered that she still had an active warrant in her name. >> Did my partner let you know you have a warrant as well with Redmond for assault for and theft? >> Yes, ma'am. >> I feel good about that. >> Yeah. I'm just letting you know. And that one's for I think like 5,000 or something like that. >> Are we doing new charges or we just >> No, I'm doing new charges, too. But we'll do a site for her new charges. She'll get booked on her warrant. So, we'll give her >> Yeah, we'll just give her a physical copy that can go in her belongings. >> Correct. I will go. >> Cool. You're never going to get out of jail for your misdemeanor warrant. >> I bet you'll be out like next week. So, uh, you're going to be booked on your warrant. We're writing a citation for your your shoplifting charge. So, that'll go in your property. So, you'll deal with that. I'm going to write your court date two weeks out, but you'll deal with that whenever you need to. >> You understand why we're going this route. So >> shoplifting, I'm not asking you to to talk about your crime at all. So, >> but you were shoplifting >> and then upon contact of your shoplifting for loss prevention cuz I tried to let them contact you and then you decided to throw all the stuff on the ground and then just leave, which is not how shoplifting works. You don't get to just throw the stuff back and not get caught and that's how it works. That's never how shoplifting works. You walked past all points of sale, tried to get contact by loss prevention officers, still disregarded their commands, then police contact you. And then when police contact you, I don't know if you didn't know it was me or what, but you're still trying to get away. So, I tried my best to give you about as many options as possible. And then on top of that, we're walking back here and you call me a piece of [ __ ] >> I'm sorry. >> At this point, with everything confirmed, the officers explained what the woman was now facing. But could she do anything to change what came next? So, this is your new citation for the theft recharge, right? This is different from the warrant that we're taking you in on from Redmond. Okay. So, this has your court date on it as well. I need you to listen for a second, Marian. This has your court date on it and has your case number. >> I don't care. >> Okay. Well, you're going to have another warrant if you don't kill anybody, so I don't care. >> So, we can't take any of the food. That's >> to go home. >> Yeah. >> And then this food is full. >> I'm never going to get out. >> Well, that's not our fault. You can't keep committing crimes and expect to just stay out free. >> No, I don't. I just want to go home. I would do anything. >> No, you you have active warrants and then shoplifting on top of that. And then I mean, I can get you with obstructing if I wanted. >> Go ahead. >> Okay, then you just stay in jail for longer. >> I'm not going to play this game. Absolutely. Can I have those? >> In the end, the woman was charged with shoplifting and taken into custody on an existing warrant for assault and theft. Every choice has consequences, and trying to deny or walk away from a crime does not erase what happened. An active warrant can make an already serious situation even worse. Next, what would happen to this entitled young [music] woman who thought her age put her above the law? >> No. Take me to jail. Swap those shoes out. >> No. No. Take me to jail right now. >> I'm not I'm not I'm not leaving with I'm not leaving with nothing. Y >> Congratulations. You got your wish and go to jail. >> Thank you. >> I'll [music] let the quickest way down. >> Child molester. Child molester. On the 6th of January 2026, officers were dispatched to the fitting room area at JC Penney in Northwoods Mall after receiving a report of a woman suspected of shoplifting and hiding inside. As soon as she stepped out, she was in for a surprise. >> Hello. Do you have any clothes on that you selected from J C Penney? >> The ones that's in here. >> Okay. [snorts] Is >> I need the red shirt. >> What red shirt? >> The one is underneath my sweatshirt. >> I don't have no red shirt under here. The Arizona one. >> What Arizona shirt? >> The one that you are wearing currently. >> First off, listen. I had the shirt on when I came in here. >> Okay. So, I have video of you selecting it. I don't want to argue with you about it. >> Let's go. >> We can charge you with retail stuff. That's fine. >> We can do that. We can go to jail for now. We can I want you to take me down there. Let's go. >> How long have you >> anything else in here that's yours? Wait. >> Wait. Nothing. No. Let's go. >> No. I said wait. >> We're going to go to the car. Stop touching me. >> We're not done. >> Stop touching me. what makeup and stuff she might have in her purse that it's ours. >> Her attitude showed that she had no intention of cooperating or being honest. She then arrogantly sat down in a chair and continued arguing claiming that she had every right to do what she was doing. >> Okay. Can Can we check just to make sure that there's nothing in your purse? >> You must be the one that be on kids and you must be the one that kids because I'm not going to keep doing this weird. Y'all know for a fact that I have permission to do everything I'm doing right now. Y'all keep want to try this weird me. Like I said, y'all did this yesterday. Y'all know for a fact y'all have meed up once again. Y'all want to keep doing this. Y'all want to keep I'm not talking to you. I'm talking to the police. And then you know you're going to lose your job. The man that owns this mall knows that he told you to leave me the alone. Like I said when y'all gave me that Burgly charge like you were there. Yeah. Berkeley actually. >> Whatever. Like I said y'all know for a fact I be have permission to do everything I'm doing. Like I said, I've been told you mother that there people around here kids and bringing them to certain places and doing certain things like y'all want to keep acting keep doing this little dumb ass not gonna keep doing with y'all. We keep doing the same thing over and over again. So, like I said, you know what? Like I said, I came in here with the shirt. I came in here with the shirt. But if you want to say I stole it, I I'll take it off right in front of you. Okay. >> As long as I get my shirt [ __ ] with you [ __ ] Who the [ __ ] Ain't no tags on this. This is mine. Been mine. been mine. Mine mine mine. >> She kept talking non-stop, making her excuses increasingly rambling and repetitive. Even when the employee brought up the other items, she was more than willing to keep escalating the situation. >> Where's my pop shoes? >> What pop shoes? >> There was one more pair of shoes. >> No, there were not. >> No, there was not. No, there was not. >> No, very last one. >> No, there was not. No, there was not. >> Do you have anything that was stuffed in your purse? Well, they're going to look at the video. So, we're trying to look at it right now. >> Okay. We're trying to cut you a break. >> I don't want a break. I want y'all to take me down to the police station right now. Why aren't y'all doing it? I stole this. Look, I'm taking this right now. Take me, please. I want you to >> Why do you want to go to jail? So, >> I want you to take me down there. >> Why? >> Take me. >> Look, take me. I'm dead serious. Take me. Take me. >> I am so serious. I'm taking all these shoes with me and I'm not leaving. So, take me down to police station. Take me down. Take me down. My shoes down there. I'm taking everything. >> Those are your shoes. >> Take me down there. Take me down. >> Those are these shoes down there. Look, I'm taking her shoes. Listen. Listen to what I'm saying. >> She's wearing these shoes. >> Listen to me when I'm telling you what I'm telling you. >> I'm taking all this with me. So, take me to jail. >> All right. Swap those shoes out. >> No. Take me to jail. >> Swap those shoes out. >> No. No. Take me to jail right now. >> I'm not I'm not I'm not leaving with I'm not leaving with nothing. Take me to jail. Take me to jail. Y'all already know how to go. Take me to jail. Take me down there right now. Put me back on the on the community, whatever y'all call it. Put me back on that right now cuz y'all know y'all doing this right now. Stop playing with me. We're not going to keep doing this weird. Take me to jail. I'm not I'm not I'm not up it. I'm not up in it. So take me to jail. Take me to jail. >> You want to just do your trespass and then if she walks out, then we'll just deal with her. >> Take me to jail. >> I mean, they're still in my shoes. >> Take notes. You're going to get fired. >> All right. So, you understand if you don't swap those shoes out, you are going to be arrested. No. >> Behind the woman's arrogance seemed to be embarrassment as she was repeatedly confronted about the suspected stolen items. That appeared to be why she kept demanding to be taken away. And moments later, that request was finally granted. >> If you don't swap those shoes out, you're going to be arrested. So, >> let's go. Do your best. Let's go. Okay. You're banned from >> I don't give a me. What the No, I'm not. >> You want to go ahead and walk out? in jail. I said that. What the you talking about? I'm not listening about. I didn't told you. Take me where you got to take me. I'm going to keep saying what the I want to say. >> You going to take those shoes off before we walk out those doors. >> All righty. You know what's going to happen. >> I don't give a told you take me to jail. I told them to take me to jail when I was at the hospital. Quit playing with me. I'm not playing with you. >> You know exactly what's going to happen as soon as you walk out that door. >> What's going to happen? >> All righty. Now you're under arrest for yourself. You want to do all this extra ass. You're doing that. You're doing that. You're doing it. What? You want to do something right? You know moving out here when I said I was doing >> What the yours? >> Congratulations. Got your wish and go. >> Thank you. Wherever the quickest way down. Child molester. Child molester. Child molester. Child molester. Child molester. Child molester. Child molester. >> You got your camera on? It's fine cuz your buddy yesterday didn't turn his gun where he's supposed to. >> Child molester. Child molester. What you look at what you look behind you for. >> Child molester. Put my arm down. Put my arm down. >> She clearly knew what she was doing. Taking advantage of her young age and her rights as a citizen. She accused the officers instead. Even putting on an act to portray herself as the victim. >> What am I doing? Shut up. >> Oh my god. My ankle. You broke molester. Quit playing with me. Oh my god. >> Stand and walk. Wait, just >> can you start the wagon for a female? >> Oh my gosh, you're hurting my face. >> All right, I'm done with this. >> My jacket though, you goof. >> Just walk. >> No, I don't want to walk. My ankle hurt. Tie ble to the car. >> I can hear you say I'm going to break my child. Tie blaster. Don't push me. >> Get in the car. >> Don't push me, [ __ ] >> Get in the car. >> Don't push me. Okay. I just want you to know that. >> All right. We're going to swap those shoes out cuz they have long blondes. >> Don't be rough. >> I'm not trying to be relaxed. >> You need to do it right. >> Let me see the other foot. >> Anyways, you hear me? That black does not make you slim. Okay. >> You still want I just want you know that. I know you come to work every day in all black and makes you look bigger than what you are. >> Give me my shoes. >> Put your feet in there. >> Give me my shoes. >> You'll get your shoes. >> Shut up. The woman showed no shame and continued acting arrogantly, yelling and talking to the people around her as if nothing serious was happening. >> So you don't have to bend my leg. I'm trying to be acting nice. I'm being nice. I'm being nice to your baby. >> So I need you to turn back to your left. And if you'd like, >> I can lift it up. >> Yeah. I'll do that. >> I rather lift it up and you bend my Hey, fat. I just want you to know, like I said, that black does not make you slim. That black does not make you slim. You still as fat as you were yesterday and you still as fat the day you were born. You big. I just want you to know that. You hear me? I know you hear me. You want to act like you don't hear me. I'm just letting you know. You're fat as >> Are you doing that towards me? Yeah. You look like you do meth. Like I said, yeah, I know it's funny. Meth head and a fat. I'm not talking PhD. Like I said, I mean fat as fat. You're a big You look like you do meth with your mom. talking about them. You don't want to sit here and look and then you got on these bogus Tims. Where do you get those from? They look a mess. You're a what? You're what? You're a sticker shopper, man. I wish >> you're a sticker shopper. They clearly don't pay you anything. How the are you walking around with them bogus? They're bending. >> We'll come inside. >> All types of all types of >> And I told you my earphones. Don't >> I don't care. >> You have a pocket now. Any other pockets besides what search? >> No. You won't touch my breast. I thought you touch my kids. No. Teriana R. Brown, 26, was charged with retail theft and disorderly conduct after she was caught wearing and carrying merchandise she had taken from JC Penney. Being young does not put anyone above the law, and arrogance will not make the consequences disappear. When the evidence is clear, refusing to cooperate can only make the situation worse. Next, let's head to the airport to meet this woman. >> So, you you paid for your food with that card? >> My food with that card right there. >> Okay. Unfortunately, I I wasn't thinking straight. I'm sorry. And I am sorry. >> On the 26th of February, 2026, police approached a woman after suspecting she was involved in stealing another passenger's debit card at the airport and using it to buy a drink, but it seemed she had already prepared her denial. >> Hello there. You should know this contact's being audio and video recorded. Excuse me, ma'am. You should know you're being audio and video recorded. >> They got called out here because someone's missing a debit card. Okay. and they say that you took it. So, we're going to figure that out. You're not free to go. >> Okay. >> When's your uh flight? >> In the morning. >> Okay. Why would someone say that you're missing that they're missing a debit card and you have it? >> I don't have Can I put my stuff on? >> Yeah, it's fine. Is there any possible way? It's a mixup. >> No, I showed her my card. I showed her my purse. >> Okay. >> Um >> do you have any an ID I can look at? >> Right here. Um, only things I have in my purse is these things. I show my >> So, you were in a restaurant, correct? >> Yes, I was in a restaurant. >> What card did you pay with? >> My debit card right here. >> My IDs right here. But >> IDs from other states or >> Yeah, my old IDs. But cars. I don't have anything that even resembles her car. So, you you paid for your food with that card? >> I paid for my food with that card right there. >> Okay. Did you get a receipt for it or >> uh I didn't I didn't get a receipt. I paid online. It didn't send me Hold on. Where's my phone number? It didn't send me a receipt. I didn't select a receipt either. So, yeah, it didn't even send me no receipt or the the payment, but I did make a payment with that debit card. >> Okay. The woman then showed the officer her own card, but that was when they discovered she was hiding something. It was clear she was lying. >> So, her debit card was sitting on the table and >> she has a red card with her name on it with suspect's name on it. So, are we sure that the >> Well, she used the card to pay for her margarita and it's the last four of this lady's card. >> What are those last four? >> I'd have to ask her. >> Let's find out what those last four are. Okay. >> She's got a red debit card. >> She showed her a blue. >> She's got a red debit card with her name on it. >> Can you Yeah. If it match, it doesn't match with this credit card. She goes with this credit card number. This is my credit card. >> She show me. She show >> This is your credit card number down here. >> Yeah. The last The >> number here. >> That's the When they close the key one. >> Okay. So, this is your credit card. >> Yes. >> Did they talk to you over there? Yeah. And I showed her my debit card and everything. I was like, I haven't made my debit card. I don't know. There wasn't no table. >> And there's nothing you left in the bathroom or anything like that? >> I don't think I left anything in the bathroom. I came out. >> I mean, the card's not going to be in there. Nothing like that. >> I don't have the card. >> Okay. >> The suspect still had no idea that she had already been caught. At this point, the officers confronted her directly. Let's see how she reacted to it. >> So, what other card do you have that you put in your purse? >> Damn. I didn't. >> So, we have the receipt. >> Here's the thing. We don't like to be lied to. You don't have to talk to us if you don't want to. However, that was not the card that paid for the item cuz we have the receipt and the last four digits are on that >> receipt. And those last four digits are >> 2988. And the last four on the receipt are something else or anything. Okay. >> Okay. Having these right to mind you as you talk to >> she said that you it says wait to be seated >> and you just walked in and you sat at the back table. >> I didn't just walk in. >> One second. I'm sorry. >> Can I just finish? >> And you you sat at the back table and there was like a book like her son's um No, there was no little magazines like a book, you know, like a book fair thing for school. Uh-huh. And she said that her debit card was sitting on there last and she went to go place and her debit card was no longer there. And so she said that she saw you put the debit card in your purse. >> And so she and then she said that >> you paid for it. >> How does her second? I was in the second stall. You can go look in the second stall. I did not use >> How did her card number get on your receipt? >> I don't have no idea about that. I did not. I was talking to the lady about it was my birthday the other day. >> How do you say your first name? >> Ebony. >> Ebony. So, let's let's kind of start over. Okay. Kind of relax. Okay. You're in the middle of the international airport. We are surround like literally we're probably on 15 different cameras right now. Okay. And we have all the facts now to essentially to arrest you for theft. Okay. So, all we want to know is why and how it actually happened. So, we know that that's not the card that you used. We know that you know that. All we want is the story of of how and why it happened. >> Under pressure from the officers, the woman admitted what she had done and where she had hidden the card. Police immediately began searching for it. >> That one >> garbage can. >> The one that this guy is standing at right there. >> No, not that one. like far down by the guy in the red. >> Okay, it might have just been taken out. Okay, thanks. show. >> Yeah, I checked that was that recycle bag from the one you were describing. It saw it in there, but I they might have just taken it out. So, we'll we'll check that video anyway, but we do show. >> Uh yeah, you want me to grab her? >> Sure. >> I don't know which one she is. You know who the chicken is? >> There any way that they can get the people that just walked past back this way? check the video and see if they pick it up or when they But there was like there was only >> Yeah, cuz when I put it in there was it was a brand new bag when I put it in. There wasn't a lot of stuff in there. Only a few pieces of paper. I had just bought the headphones, opened them up and turned them on. >> Did you buy the headphones with your money? >> Yeah, with my money. >> That transaction. I can show you the transaction. >> How much were your headphones? >> They were $40. $4. So, how much was that drink? >> I went to Hudson and I got the um headphones. >> So, how can you spend 40 bucks on headphones? You decided to steal a drink? >> Just too easy or just sitting there or what? >> Unfortunately, I I wasn't thinking straight. I'm sorry. >> Do you believe the woman's excuse for her actions? It was clearly not convincing enough for the officers, so they took action shortly afterward. >> All right, you're under arrest for theft. Don't resist. Don't resist. I'm not resisting. I'm not resisting. Bend your arm. >> I'm not resisting, sir. I'm not. Okay, sir. Okay. You don't have to. Can I call my parents? >> I leave. >> You didn't leave us much of a choice. We don't have the card back. >> Well, >> you're going to be in the airport for another 12 hours, potentially stealing. >> No, no, no, no, no. I I promise you guys, I put You guys can look at the camera. It's right there. >> Even if Even if we can get it back, right? You're sitting in the middle of an international airport. I'm sorry. >> You have to get on a plane next to these people. Is that what [music] is that what you would want? >> No, it's not. >> Stop moving around. >> I'm sorry. I'm sorry. >> Okay, you can just sit back down. >> So, your bag is going to be too big to go with you to score. It's just a jail. It's down the road. When you get out, you'll be able to pick that stuff up, but you need to make an appointment to do that. >> Okay. >> Um, so what stuff do you want to have on you? Like a cell phone, a charger, >> a blanket. Is it okay if I can take my blanket in my purse? Probably not a blanket. Let's >> Oh, that's not that's not mine. That the pillow part. I don't know where that That's not mine. >> Is that your piece of mail right there? >> Yeah, that is my piece of mail. >> I just want my phone. >> So, let's do like this thing. Wal what? Wallet, phone right there. >> I can Well, how can I get my >> We'll give you a piece of paper that tells you exactly how to pick all that up. >> Afterward, the suspect was also warned about the trespass order and what she would have to do because of the foolish situation she had caused. You're going to have this in your jail property. Your bag and blanket are not going to be here at the airport. They're going to be stored offsite at this address. In order to get your property, you need to call this number up here and make an appointment. If you show up at the airport and you don't have airport business, and it's just to get your property, you'll be trespassing and you may end up going back to jail. >> So, I can't take my flight back to >> If you have a flight, you can. Absolutely. That's airport business. >> All right. I'm telling you how to get your property. >> Hold on. So, can can you repeat that again? The woman was arrested after admitting to using the stolen debit card. Officers later recovered the card from a nearby garbage bin. She was booked for thirdderee theft and first-degree criminal trespass. A moment of poor judgment can quickly lead to serious consequences. Even if the theft seemed minor, stealing from someone else and then lying to police only made the situation worse. A single dishonest decision turned into an arrest, criminal charges, and even the risk of missing her flight. Next, let's move on to a young woman who faced even worse [music] consequences because she chose to run. Sir, >> where coming? >> Where? I ain't got it. This >> coming. >> Get out of here. >> On the 5th of February 2024, officers were dispatched to a Kohl's department store after receiving a report about a woman who was concealing designer clothes and jewelry on her person inside a fitting room. Here's what happened when they arrived on scene. She's in the changing room right now. She's got jewelry and some clothing in there. She tries to sit on her purse. I got footage from her in the past store and stuff like that. >> Okay. You have an LP office? >> Yeah. I kind of right. >> Where's the room? >> So, why does she look right? I forget if you know your AIDS gray sweatpants, black hoodie with a white symbol on the back. Okay. Right. Right here for >> y'all never CTW. >> No, she it's been recent. Where you at? >> If you come in the store, we're going to be in the center by the fitting room. You want to go around? >> Yeah, you go if you want. >> The officers waited for the woman while she was using the fitting room. As soon as she stepped out, they approached her, but she immediately did something unexpected. >> Come here, >> sir. Go ahead and come, man. >> Where? I ain't got it. This >> coming. I got one running. Get out of >> Where are you at? We're right out front. She's in custody. >> Now, that was about the dumbest thing you could have done. >> Why we run? cuz I'm on my on my nose. >> Oh, this >> I'm with somebody and they had me stealing >> for socks. Going to jail for socks. >> Let's get her inside. They got a loss prevention area. We'll search her there. >> Yeah. After that, she was taken to the loss prevention office where the search continued. Yeah, I see it. All right. Hey, look at me. You're a female. I'm going to search you. I'm going to walk through what I'm doing as I'm doing it. Okay. >> Okay. >> How much stuff do you have on you? >> I do have some in my pants. >> Okay. Do me a favor. Face towards the camera or face away from me. All right. I'm going to pull back this way. Is it underneath here as well? >> Okay. Tracy won't >> he's where >> we're code for. Go ahead and send me his case number. Hey, she's got a buddy that was here with her last time. He's at the registry right now. Try to check out. >> Is he attempting to shoplift? >> No, not this time, but we have a case. >> Can you follow case number with us and everything? >> No. Yeah. Well, I got this mean got nothing. That's >> all right. I'm going to unzip your jacket. What are we wearing underneath it? >> Oh, I just got on my shirt in my >> Okay. Additionally, by running away, she faced an additional charge. But she did not seem worried because she believed she could not be charged for an unbelievable reason. Because you ran, you have an extra charge. >> Okay. >> You are going to go to Perry. >> Okay. Concealing stuff on you when you get inside of Perry is an extra charge. Did I miss anything? >> No, sir. >> Okay. process. >> Not me being a minor, but I got >> You're a minor. How old are you? >> My November 14th, 2002. >> How old are you? >> Hold on. >> You said 2002. You're 20. You're not a minor. Minor people under the age of 18. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> Should be a $300 bracelet somewhere as well. Where's the bracelet at? >> I left it. >> You left it? >> Did you take it out of the packaging? >> Uh, no. Yeah, I left it in the thing. >> Okay. These are $40 shirts. >> Yeah. Have a seat. Stand up for me. >> And one gold. >> Uh price by just is this. >> I'll get you a receipt and give it to I've got >> Oh, you already got it. >> Price. I'm just trying to think. Still still. >> After that, the walk of shame took place, but surprisingly, she did not seem embarrassed at all. Yeah, it's over five because of the necklace that's still missing. >> And we got to that though once we started adding up the shorts and stuff. >> Yeah, >> that's why I don't do so cold. I told you it was >> I know they sell caterpillar jackets. I didn't even know Caterpillar had a line of clothes. >> Yeah, it's crazy. Wow. >> All right. >> Thank you. Go ahead and have a seat for me. >> No, we got it. Thanks for coming out, though. The woman was charged with felony shoplifting, resisting, [music] and fleeing law enforcement after concealing merchandise and running from officers. Running from police will not make a theft charge disappear. It can only lead to even more serious consequences. Next, this man even went as far as threatening the officers. >> There's no world. >> Dude, what is your problem? >> Watch me. >> Watch you what? >> There's no Watch me. >> Watch what you going to do. >> Get away my partner. Get away threatening my partner. Get >> away. >> On the 31st of August 2024, police received a call from a public store after reports that a man had caused a disturbance by asking multiple people for money. But to get more details, they listened to the store employees accounting in. I saw your text. I turned my phone on for the first time in like a week. You can't stand when you want my food boy. >> Excuse me. >> Don't you see I'm eating? >> Excuse me. Excuse me. I'm going to tell you right now. Let's bring it down. The reason we're here is because the manager of Publix said they wanted you to trespass. Somebody bought you food, but they wanted you trespass. We come here, we speak to you nicely. We're not raising. >> Don't lie to me. I brought my food. Don't Don't lie to me. I am about to lose my patience which I don't guarantee you don't want me to do. So yes, I'm not lying to you. Publix wants you trespass and what and what you're going to start getting mad. You going to start raising your voice? >> You going to do that? I don't think so. >> Now we can either handle this quietly like men. >> I'm eating. >> I don't give a where they don't want you here. You didn't buy food. Somebody you food. >> Go tell me. Do you think I'm slow? >> The man showed no sign of cooperating, forcing the officers to draw their tasers. He noticed that and began to think twice about letting his temper get the better of him. >> This is how it's going to work. I either tase your ass and take you to jail or you get your happy ass up and walk away. >> I don't want to tase you. I'd rather punch you. But this is what we're going to do. Do you understand me? Say you again. Now we're going to handle this nice. I'm going to put the taser away. You slow. There's no in the world. There's no in the world. So, >> you're not throw nothing away. >> Get up. >> You ain't I'll you. >> To put an end to the situation, the officers had to take decisive action. But that was also when the chaos began. >> You want to do my partner? >> Get away. You threatened my partner. >> Get away. Get I >> put your hands behind your back. >> You're going to get food. Get away. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Stop resisting. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Oh, put your teeth up. Okay. Get away. My fingers my Get away. >> Get away from me. Put your hands behind your back. >> Put your hands back. >> His resistance escalated further as he even grabbed a taser and fired it at an officer, but he showed no remorse for what he had done. >> I can't I have to walk. You're just I was eating, man. Get away from me. I'm the good guy. Yo, get away from me, man. He's just trying to my legs. Trying to break my legs. You okay? >> You're just trying to break my legs. >> He's trying to me out. Okay. >> Yo, get off of me. What's your deal, man? I just buy food. Relax. Don't move. >> Do you have anything on you that's going to stick me, poke me, prick me? >> Stretch your legs. >> My legs. I did surgery, sir. >> The man was charged with battery on a police officer, resisting an officer without violence and trespass. [music] He pleaded guilty and received 6 months in county jail with credit for 83 days already served. The incident shows how refusing to follow a lawful order and resisting officers can quickly turn a minor situation into a dangerous confrontation. Cooperating and simply leaving when asked could have prevented the injuries and additional charges. Before the next theft case, let's continue with this trespassing incident where the suspect was a store employee. >> All right, you got to get out. You're going to get placed on >> now. Shut now. Not later. Now. >> Okay. Stand up. >> Okay. On the 6th of March 2023, police received a call from Walmart about a female employee who had just been fired, but refused to leave the store, [music] yelling, cursing, and disrupting business operations. Officers immediately arrived at the store and gathered more information from the manager. >> What's up, man? >> Good. >> Um, got an associate in here. She's being terminated. Okay. She's refusing to leave the building disrespectful. We just want her escorted out. >> Okay. >> I don't care. >> I just want her out of here. >> All right. Sounds good. >> She's in. >> Okay. [snorts] >> I was the other day. >> Easy. >> I didn't I didn't realize how many people spend the night in the parking lot. You know, that's right. >> Which, hey, I don't mind because in the future I might do that, like the van life stuff. But >> yeah, >> those people weren't van life. That was just living out of a car type of thing. >> My wife uh my wife dad does that for >> goes around the nation in his camper and he's always talking about like people kicking out of an area. >> Yeah, Walmart. >> Yeah, Walmart seems okay. And they there's people like pulling in the middle of the night. >> Yeah. >> What's going on here? Work works trucks, all kinds of stuff. [snorts] >> Not sure why um happening. Oh man, back here. >> At this point, the officers tried to remind her to leave. She seemed unwilling to accept it, but at least she showed some signs of moving away. >> Well, you got to come outside of the business. So, you got a manager here. Who's the manager? You're the manager. You guys want off the property? >> Okay. You understand that if you don't leave the property, you're going to be arrested for trespassing? >> Okay. Arrest me. >> Okay. >> Three. Uh, let me know how far you know three here. You mind sending somebody to the front cuz uh there's going to be another officer coming this way. Yeah, >> just to guide the other officer that's coming in. >> Okay. >> If No, if you can send somebody. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> Hello. >> Mhm. >> Why did they call me back? >> No, no, no. >> Did I get the manager, too? You got your manager coming? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> With each defiant step, it seemed like she was finally leaving, but she still had no intention of returning the vest. She stopped and continued lingering inside the store. Go. Go ahead. Go ahead. Do >> all right. You got to get out. You're going to get placed on. >> Okay. But like now, not later. Now. >> Sir. >> Thank you. >> You have your ID on you? >> Yes. >> Okay. Thank you. Listen, you got to get off the property. Off the property. >> I'm not going to stand right here. >> No, you have to get off the property. This entire property. >> Three from two. How far are you out? Victor two for Victor one. Are you calling for assistance? Do you need another car? >> Yeah. I thought there was an three over here. This is going to be an three situation. So, somebody can come by. >> I did. I'm just waiting for you. >> Okay. >> Okay. Is that your vest or is that Walmart's property? That vest you're wearing? >> Shut up. >> The vest you're wearing. >> It's mask. >> It's mask. It's mask. I You think you going to get it back? That's okay. >> She clearly loved her old job enough to have no intention of taking off the vest. By lingering inside the store, she had also violated the newly issued trespass warning and the officers informed her of that. >> Trespassing. >> Hey, am I under trespass? >> Stand up. >> Don't touch me. >> Okay. Stand up. Okay, both got to touch. >> I'm just putting your phone away. >> Move. Stop. >> Listen, if you resist, >> stop moving. Okay, >> you're going to be arrested for resisting. >> I don't. >> What's your name? >> I ain't got no >> Okay. Well, no name. Stop moving. >> Okay. >> Stop grabbing my arm so Okay. Okay. Well, that's not going to happen. Let me double lock. >> I don't want you touching. I don't like white people, right? He can touch the off. >> You want to double lock them for me? >> You want to double lock them for me? >> Yeah. >> Now watch what happens to you. >> Be ready. Get inside. Get inside. >> I don't give a damn. I'm coming back. Even after getting into the patrol car, she remained defiant, continuing to act arrogantly when the officer tried to ask for her name. >> How old are you? >> I ain't got no age. >> Seriously, is that what you're going to do? >> You going to act like you're five when I know you're not? Yo, bad ass from the bank they car. >> All right. One Victor three. Uh, Victor 2 has one female in custody. >> Okay. >> Why stand right here? Well, so I can hurry up and get >> Well, that's not how it works. I don't know who I'm I'm dealing with. So, that's only going to take it longer if you don't tell us her name. And then you going to get transferred out the county cuz you refused in the booking process. So, >> the woman was charged with resisting or obstructing a police officer, battery, and criminal trespass to a building. She pleaded guilty to resisting or obstructing and was sentenced to 102 days in jail and 24 months of probation. This incident shows that refusing to leave after being trespassed [music] can quickly turn a simple workplace dispute into criminal charges. I'm like, okay, well, we can do this transfers over the phone, you know, to verify you. um you have to come into the branch and do everything else, whatever. So, he hanged out. Okay. He calls again. He's been calling non-stop. So, I'm like, "All right." I said, "Listen, you have to come in." First of all, this the noise the um his voice does not sound like an 78y old. Sounds like a really young person. So, that was the first thing I caught. I'm like, "This that's voice does not match like this um age." Then they caught again. So, apparently they just went to another branch in Lake Worth. They were not able to get get the ID and he walked in. This guy pretending to be him. >> Do you have a picture of the person? >> Oh, the real one. Well, the real one I just contact I've been calling him. He doesn't answer. I called the branch that he usually visits and I was talking to the manager uh the banker and I'm like, "Hey, how does he look like?" So, she started describing to him and he's I'm like, "That's definitely not him. The ID is clearly fake and she's been calling the real customer. He's not answering either. And this guy went and told the people on May 4th, oh yeah, my wife is going to come in to do the changes to uh to update the phone number. The that the real Mr. Ortiz wife passed away. So we put two and two together and he called the branch right now saying, >> "Huh?" No, I didn't tell him nothing. He called the branch right now saying, "Oh, I'm heading to you guys so you can make the changes for me." I said, "Sure, I'll be here." So, the suspect attempted to withdraw money from what he claimed was his late wife's account. But when questioned about her condition, he repeatedly changed his statements, making the entire situation increasingly suspicious. >> Uh, where's your wife at? >> My wife's in Huntsville. >> She's in Huntsville. >> Yes. >> Gotcha. All right. Well, uh, >> she passed recently. >> Yeah, I know that. >> But she's in Huntsville >> in the in the Morgan. >> Gotcha. Listen, man. I'm not I'm not all right. I got sent in here by somebody else. I'm coming here to do this for him. That's it. >> Okay. I'm not trying to take anything from nobody. He sent me in there to do the stupid ass phone change and that was it. >> All right. >> Okay. I'm not trying to take nothing. I ain't trying to get nothing. But he wanted me to get the phone change for him. >> Gotcha. So, [clears throat] >> she saw me you uh came in here to collect a $20,000 cashier. like corn. >> You were trying to >> No. >> I'm not trying to do nothing. >> Did I come back? >> I'm [clears throat] just going right now. [snorts] [clears throat] >> All right. >> Shortly after, the bank employee gave a statement expressing suspicion that the man might be part of a fraud ring as she had also observed the presence of an accomplice. It was It was a thin skinny dude that pulled up and then >> It was a It was a black skinny guy. >> They didn't exit the vehicle though. >> I tried and then >> Gotcha. >> This is the most >> cuz I heard him screaming that way and that's when I noticed he split up. So >> 16 54. >> That's what I thought. So he's gonna be going to jail for yours. >> Hey, ma'am. >> The whole tag. >> Well, mine was just the side. Could I send that to myself? >> Um, yeah, sure. [laughter] >> Like, I guess, yeah. >> The suspect overheard the exchange between the bank staff and police and further reinforcing suspicions of an organized scam, and he struggled to explain who he had come with when questioned. >> I already don't even know his name, bro. >> No, >> but you meet him >> on the streets. with a Suburban. >> Suburban driver. >> I don't know. >> No, >> another another one. >> How much was it going to give you if you were successful with the money? >> Didn't need to answer that for you. >> All right. For the moment you read the tank, stand up for me. Put the sofa right in. Anything on you? No sudden move. Okay. >> Anything on you that's going to pull me? Cut me. >> There's no line in here. >> Yes. No. >> No. I got uh a stem in here and a and a strap. >> Additionally, the police suspected that he was attempting to scam money in order to purchase illegal substances as seen in similar cases. He denied it, but his lies began to fall apart due to the evidence uncovered by investigators. >> Any crack on you? Any fentanyl? >> No, I ain't in that, man. >> You know how many times I heard that? >> I'm telling you. >> Okay. Possessional personnel, I tell you. So, Not in the crack. Put's a crack in the pocket. What? Get the papers. Come on. That's it. Got nothing else. You real? >> Yeah. I'm I'm waiting on you. caught up. No, not yet. I'm in three still. 12:13. All right, come over to my car. In the end, he was charged with bank fraud, identity theft, use of fake identification, conspiracy to commit financial fraud, and possession of illegal substances. Attempts to manipulate trust through deception and inconsistent statements ultimately fall apart when verification processes and evidence expose the truth, showing that fraudulent schemes cannot survive once scrutiny is applied. He was trying to shop around. Yes. You were with him? Yes. And you called for a ride? Yes. Now I got to do about 2, three years. >> On February 9th, 2025, police responded to a Walmart in Florida after reports of an active theft. A man in a blue shirt was seen trying to push a full cart of goods out of the store before being stopped. And a woman, believed to be his accomplice, managed to leave the scene unnoticed. A pursuit was immediately launched and this is what happened when officers approached the suspects. >> Put your hands out the window. >> Hands out the window. Thank you. >> Back passenger window down. >> It's a Uber. >> All right. Back passenger. Just keep your hands up. >> Back passenger. >> Thank you guys. >> How's everybody doing? >> All right. >> What's your name, brother? >> My name Paul the third. >> Paul, step out of the car real quick. What's going on? We'll explain everything to you in a second. >> I grab your phone for you. I got you. >> Got anything on? >> No. >> What's going on, sir? >> I'm going to explain. Just slow down a second. >> Yeah. We're good, man. All right. You got a ground off? >> No. Any kind of ID or anything? Let me see some ID. You got a wallet or something in your pocket? Let me see some ID. >> This is my pleasure wallet. >> Is it? >> Yeah. >> No, then let me see it. >> Oh, all right. >> After some back and forth, police obtained his ID. As they briefly brought up the incident, the man immediately showed a defeated attitude as if he already knew exactly what was about to happen. >> You got warrants or something? Uh, I just got a whatchamacallit for being child support. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> If it come up, I don't know if it come. >> I don't know if it's local or not. It might not even extradite in this area. Where was it from? Like the area >> Daytona? >> Yeah. >> It might be specific to Valuchia County. >> Sometimes they're specific to counties only. >> You know, especially if it's something so minor like that. >> Yeah. >> So, listen, man. Yeah. The ride saw it. Anything you say? >> Yeah. What happened at Walmart? That's what people tell me. >> Um, I didn't steal nothing. >> I didn't say you stole nothing, but I asked you where you're coming from. You said, "But now, guess where?" Just tell me what happened. >> Okay. Tell me what happened. >> I was coming I was coming. I was in the store and uh I was shopping. Some lady uh tried to stop me or whatever like that. And I told her, I said, "Um, I was getting ready to go up here, whatchamacaller, but I don't know what she had going on. So, I just brought out I didn't steal nothing. I didn't take nothing. So, I didn't steal nothing. >> Of course, he denied the theft since the attempt had failed. But instead of admitting what happened, he shifted his story and tried to frame the situation in a different way. >> What happened? >> No, I I waited. I went I walked off. I walked off cuz I didn't want to I don't know what's going on. >> I just want I just want to clarify. What was it you were you were returning though, >> man? I left my return. I ain't even >> So, what what were you returning? >> No, I had a card, right? I was going to return The way it goes, I didn't I didn't take nothing. >> Man, I'm not asking. You already told us like nine times. You didn't take nothing. >> What were you returning? >> We're just trying We're just trying to get everything straight, man. We need to store. >> So, I just had a uh like a six-ack of shirts I try to uh return. >> And you just left them there? >> No, I had I had left everything in there. Everything I was going to get, I left cuz >> But where's the shirts you were returning? >> They still in the store. You just left your property there for >> good value. It's a return. >> So you walked in with the shirt? >> No. No. I'm saying I didn't I didn't leave out the store with nothing. >> No, I'm saying like you brought the shirt specifically to the store to exchange. >> Well, I was one of the strange >> brother man. >> No. Okay. All right. Doesn't make any sense cuz I'm mad upset I ain't doing nothing. You know what I'm saying? I didn't take the stuff. In other words, I guess I didn't take I didn't >> I'm not worried about you taking the stuff. I'm worried about what you were returning. And what can we make some sense of that? >> Okay. cuz you didn't walk in with the shirts. You were trying to return them. >> I just said return, but I won't return. I would take my stuff. >> Of course, with such a contradictory story, the officers could not believe him. At that point, they made their decision regarding the man. >> Good idea, sir. I got to detain you for that warrant for uh for pollution. >> Oh, man. >> So, we're just going to we're just going to go with that right now. >> Yeah. >> Just trying to move your watch a little bit so I'm trying to get your watch, bud. But we're going to do that real quick. >> That's it. >> Yeah, cuz I have to detain you for that. You >> guys together? >> I understand. I still got to get her name. >> Why? For what? >> Because right now I still got to figure out a ton of information from Walmart. >> Yeah, but that's about >> like because I don't want to be Yeah. >> Yeah, man. I don't want I don't want anything to happen to somebody anyway. All right. Lean up right here. I'm I want to finish searching. All right. Lift your foot up on it. >> I got you. >> Thank you, buddy. >> I ain't going nowhere, man. >> No, he's saying so you don't fall. >> Yeah. No, man. I don't know if you got poor balance or nothing. Just don't want >> So, I got to bring it back. >> No, we're we're going to see about that. I still haven't got it back yet. But >> coming back with a warrant. >> Yeah, but I was honest with you, sir. >> Hop in here real quick. >> I know it's not necessary that they're going to No, not yet. It's not going to be >> my wallet back there, sir. >> Yeah, I know it is. >> I can't get in. >> Shortly after dealing with the man, officers approached the woman. It appeared that during the wait, she had prepared herself, visibly anxious and unsettled as she tried to present her story to the police. >> I need you to tell me what's going on because you know that doesn't make it listen. You need to worry about me right now cuz I'm the one that's got to make sense of you. >> How am I supposed to believe you for something? I don't know, sir. >> Just tell me what the act together wasn't with him. I >> said he called you for a ride. Just say he called you for a ride. >> Yeah, he said come pick me up >> there. Come on now. >> I got to be able to make sense of that. >> And I'm turning around. I said I got to come back today. Come on up. >> Okay. >> He said together or something. >> No. All right. >> Hey, did we get her back up? Are you sure in that purse you don't have an ID? >> No, I don't. >> Tanya should clarify. >> No, you don't have to do that. Just like lean back on the car. You're good. >> I'm trying to clarify cuz the first time I rang your name, I didn't get anything. If there's anything that you missed, cuz I know you said 199. >> Okay, before I try this again, I'm giving you one chance. If there's anything you want to correct about this information right here, now's the time to tell me. cuz if I find out it's not true later, >> someone Oh, you spelled the name wrong. >> ET. >> I I put that in there. I understand. I didn't put the E on here. Other than that, there's nothing wrong. The woman's dishonesty was eventually uncovered and she began to tell the truth about what happened. However, it was clear she was still withholding certain details. Now you stepped to me like somebody earlier now up in the scout bag. >> I know I should have told you at first. >> Um they got me on a very important thing like getting up big time drug deal. I work that's like a common drug. >> Okay. And um >> and she need to be real with me right now. >> Yes sir. >> Cuz you know I got to make sense of the situation and you know that I have man's got a man inside us. >> Yes, sir. Yes, sir. >> He was trying to shuffle. >> Yes. >> You were with him? >> Yes. >> And you called for him? >> Yes. No, I didn't call for a ride. I thought of myself, but he called me and saying with all that. >> Yeah, I got a warrant. >> Okay. >> Can I make a couple of calls? Excuse me, sir. >> Please let me talk to the detective later. >> Where's your ID at? >> Shortly after, both suspects were transported to the police station in the same vehicle where they spoke to each other, expressing their regret over what had happened. >> I'm sorry, dude. I told you that don't just don't do that today. Now I got to do about two, three years. >> Oh, without no money to burn out. >> Now they going to charge me what? Grand theft. >> Why? >> Cuz I tucked over $500 worth of stuff just for >> that was over $500. They said it had to be over 700 five. >> They just told me >> you got I got quiet and told you I can't firefight. I decided just go to the all that stuff at the motel. >> Oh, I'mma send to go get it. Papa saying, "Oh, I'mma send to go get all our stuff." No damn well. I couldn't have left, you know. I I couldn't leave. I couldn't have live. I I couldn't leave it. >> The man faced shoplifting charges after the failed theft attempt. While the woman was also charged for providing false information and her involvement in the case. Attempting to deceive law enforcement and shifting responsibility only leads to stronger legal consequences instead of avoiding them. Come outside cuz I'mma her up. >> So you don't [music] know who she is. >> I don't know who that girl is. >> They just want to text me to jail. >> Yes, you're going to jail. Okay, you are under arrest. Okay, we're trying. >> I'm going to walk you. What the are you talking about? >> On November 10th, 2025, officers received a report from a Chipotle about a fight that had occurred inside. For more details, [music] listen to the statement from this employee. >> What happened? >> I was in the store. They came in arguing. I thought they were going to go their separate directions. They did not. They kept continued fighting. So, I got involved and I was like, "Girl, it's not >> Who who was the primary aggressive, do you think?" Like, who was really >> They were both going at it. They were both aggressing each other. >> All right. >> And then the fight started. >> She just left from the back. She opened our back door. Okay. >> So, you probably heard. >> Okay. >> Hello. >> Hi, I'm Officer S with Brookton Police Department. Do you mind to tell me what's going on today? So that way we can let us off. >> I don't know who that white girl is, but she just swung on me. So I'mma beat her ass. >> Okay. So I was >> like I told them. >> Okay. So I wasn't here, right? So my name's Officer Sanger. Some people call me Milky. What's your name? When you're ready. Okay. >> All right. You can do. >> I don't want to talk. I see Ray right now. I want to fight. I don't care to talk. I want to fight. I did not touch that girl. She put her hands on me. I'm going to her up. I don't want to talk. I want to fight. Stop talking to me. >> It was clear that although officers approached her calmly, she chose to handle the situation through wrongful violence. At that moment, she revealed the story behind it >> because my friend pulled into a parking spot. So, she gets out the car talking. So, I'm like, "What the are you talking about? You this mad over parking spot?" So, I'm like, "Girl, what the you talking about? We in the place. We in their argument. She swing on me and she trying to run. So I grab that by her hair and I start tagging her ass. So when she come out, I'mma her up. >> Okay. So how did you get the the mark on your lip? Did she do that? She punched you in the face. >> That's what I just said. >> Okay. Sorry, I didn't completely understand the wording that you used. Okay. >> Who are you? >> All right. >> You guys together? Are you okay with her? >> Stop asking me questions. Stop talking to me. >> Oh my god. Y. [screaming] >> Okay. >> Where is she at? >> Are you friends? >> What's her name? >> No. No. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. >> Okay. Okay. >> I need you. No. No. No. You need to take a >> Because the woman had completely lost control of her mind, her statement was difficult to trust. So officers proceeded to gather testimonies from several other witnesses. >> I saw a cluster of three or four girls all had each other by the hair beating the [ __ ] out of each other. >> Okay. >> And first I saw a guy who was like backing up like this in the corner like didn't want nothing to do with it. And then I panned over, see the group of girls. At least one or two of them worked there. >> Okay. >> And the guy eventually went over and pulled one of the chicks off. And then everything from there was kind of like below the sighteline of the tables and I couldn't see. >> Okay, I appreciate it. Did you see a fight? >> I didn't see the fight, but I saw what happened originally. >> Okay, what happened originally? >> Um, sorry for my descriptive terms. The white girl comes >> walking up. I was already just sitting here eating. The white girl comes walking up in the back of the parking lot and the other girl that's yelling out front >> and she's already walking and she's the white girl is going >> what did the white do you know what the white girl was wearing? >> Um black hoodie and baggy sweatpants and there was a red >> black hoodie baggy sweatpants. >> Returning to the suspect, she had become calmer and officers attempted to explain what needed to be done to resolve the situation quickly for her. >> She got [snorts] upset, came in and swung at you. caused this and then she tried to run away so you stopped her. >> Yeah, that's what I said. >> Okay. Well, I need to confirm what you said. Okay. Cuz I don't want to make I don't want to have any information wrong. Are you waiting her here because you want to fight her? >> Yes. >> Okay. So, if that's the case, then I'm going to have to prevent you from doing that. Okay. Cuz we're not going to have a fight. We're not going to have a physical altercation where you're waiting to fight her. Okay. Now, if she needs to go to jail today for what she did, then I need you to work with me to tell you what's go tell me what's going on. Okay? If she's the one who caused the problem today, we want to do something about that. Okay. >> Okay. So, go find her then. >> Well, I can't find out what she looks like. I don't know. >> We're trying to help you to prevent you from getting in trouble. We're trying to see [snorts] you do this to you to make sure you're not at fault. If you don't want to work with us, that's an issue for you. We're trying to help. Do you want to work with us or not? Because if your solution to this is fighting her, that's not going to end well for anyone here. >> So, do you want to work with us or not? We're here to help you. >> We're just going to be stubborn. >> I already told y'all what I want. >> No, you didn't. >> So, you said I want to beat her ass. >> That's can't do that. >> Can't do that. We can't watch that. Then automatically you have to go to jail. Is that what you want to do? You want to go to jail? >> You see that right now? I get it. You're hot in the head. I get it. But can you take a breath? Meanwhile, another officer gathered statements from the store employees and obtained their decision regarding what had happened. >> Gray sweater. What else? >> Sweatpants. >> Uhhuh. >> And then she was about yay high. Like just a bit taller than me. >> Okay. >> And then she had blonde like yellowish hair. >> Okay. >> And then >> that's all I could describe. And then she had um that was really Oh, her keys. She had um >> she had this like towel character on her she on her like towel character on her keychain. >> She was like towel. Yeah, like a towel on her t-shirt. >> Okay. I'm trying to see if I can get video footage. They don't have access to it at the moment. >> Oh, really? >> Um >> um she But that girl supposedly they were in here when when they fall. >> If you come back here within a year to this property, you will be arrested. Okay. You're you go right now is is uh >> if she don't leave, >> she's going to end she's going to get arrested by somebody here tonight. >> Okay. So, she's got to leave. >> Car. >> Is that her car? >> This is Casey's car, but they came together. >> Okay. Can she drive? >> No. >> I She probably could, but I She's frantic. So, I don't know if I was just going to take them and go back to campus and then bring somebody to come get >> Okay. >> So, can I put her in that car for right now while >> if she's will if she has to leave, right? >> So, that's the biggest thing. She's got to leave. That's that's her car, but she's having a panic attack, so she can't drive right now. She's got her and then she's also willing to take >> Okay. So, do you think it would be better if I take them right now and then come back and get your phone? >> Yes, that would be the best idea. >> Thank you, Jade. >> Very helpful. >> What seemed like the end did not satisfy the suspects and chaos erupted once again. Fight. >> All right. All right. All right, guys. Guys, guys. No, no, no. We're not doing this. We're not. >> Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. >> Bro, I'm trying to walk, >> bro. >> Bro, call my auntie, bro. Is that her? Is that her >> I'm not talking. >> Okay. Y'all don't got to man. Y'all don't got to man. >> I'm relaxing. Call my auntie. >> 561. Not Jade. Can you please get your phone and call my auntie? >> They just want to text me to jail. >> Yes, you're going to jail. Okay, you are under arrest. Okay, we're trying. >> Going to walk. What the are you talking about? All y'all are me. I'm 125 [ __ ] pounds. >> This is not what we wanted to do tonight. >> Clearly, it is cuz we doing it. I beg you to leave, >> bro. I was going to walk to school. >> Sorry. You're okay. >> What are you talking about? I don't want to be in no car right now. I want to be by myself and cool the seat. She was charged with trespassing after warning and resisting without violence. Losing control of emotions and choosing violence over cooperation only turned a solvable situation into legal consequences.
