Please not pick the guns, please. >> Okay. >> Everything's fine. >> They could be a family, a couple in a relationship, or simply accompllices in a shoplifting scheme. But all of them made the same wrong choice by taking merchandise without paying for it. Will their fate be the same? Find out in today's video when shoplifterss didn't know Walmart was watching their every move. We are This is Law. Don't forget to like and subscribe. Let's begin with a couple where one kept lying while the other kept dodging the truth. >> So tell me what happened yesterday with all that. >> Sir, seriously [ __ ] I do. >> No. >> On the 16th of July 2023, police received a report from a Ross store about a theft that had occurred days earlier. The suspects had allegedly returned in the exact same vehicle. When officers arrived at the scene, they quickly began verifying everything with the loss prevention employee. >> Wow. >> Uh short version is I was just walking in just, you know, and I was actually just by their car. Didn't they park right where you parked? >> Okay. I saw them running out, did not identify myself or anything, but I brought like a car. Um, and somebody get out of his way and shoot me. So, I did a picture. >> Yeah. Okay. >> All right. And do we have video of them? We looked at I literally just Okay. Yeah. >> Sounds good. That's her, right? >> I think so. It's 149. They may have already been in this door collecting stuff. >> Is that him right there? Guy comes from this side, walks across. >> Yeah, I think so. Yes. Yeah, that's >> At the same time, another team of officers blocked the vehicle linked to the theft in the parking lot and immediately took action before the suspects could flee for a second time. Hey, >> I'm Corporal Mask Kirk, Police Department. guy, come and chat with me real quick. >> Hey man, could you just have a seat on my bumper, please? >> Turn around. Put your hands behind your back for me. Hey man, you're just being detained right now. >> What is he being detained for? >> Both of you guys are being detained right now. >> Me? >> What did I do? >> Put your hands together. >> Hey man, put your hands together. Hey, fingers together. Palms together. I'll pick up your cigarette. I promise. Drop your cigarette. Palms together. >> Hey, I I will tell you here in a sec. Put your palms together, sir. Don't right now together. >> No, they aren't. Put your palms together. >> Put the [ __ ] things on, bro. >> Hey, put your fingers up, man. Your fingers. >> You still going? You trying to, bro? >> I'm not trying to, bro. >> I can't get my palms up, bro. >> I didn't. That's all you >> Brandon, stop it, >> Brandon. It's going to be real quick. We'll let you know what's going on, okay? >> And then we're going to be out of these puffs, right? >> We got to explain to you what's going on and why you're being detained. Okay. >> Why are you doing your life? >> Hey, man. Hey, right now you're being detained cuz your vehicle and you were involved in a theft yesterday at Ross here in the city of Kirkland. >> Okay. What is it? >> Okay. Do you have any uh weapons on you? >> No. >> Okay. Anything sharp that's going to poke me? >> No. >> Okay. Turn around. I've seen >> Clearly, the man did not seem shocked by the accusations at all, and he suddenly went silent for a moment, as if he was already thinking about his next excuse to make things more difficult. >> You're not free to leave, but you're not under arrest. I am detaining you >> for what? >> Okay, so yesterday. >> Yeah. >> A mail matching your description. >> Can you get my letter? Can I get my cigarette? >> Yeah. >> You messes the rest of my pony. Get >> the out of here, bro. >> Let me explain. Let me explain. >> Hey, I'm going to explain it all to you, but you got to let me explain to you. >> Can I get Can I get my light? >> Yeah. >> I like we don't have issues. >> Hey, >> I'm willing to work with you on this. >> Got a red light. >> Chill. Chill. Go up, bro. >> Hey, I will explain everything to you, but you got to chill for me. Okay, Brandon. Okay. Where's your light? >> Bro, give me my light. >> No, it >> don't work. Give me my other one. >> So, you're saying you had this vehicle yesterday? It wasn't in the city at all? Your car? >> No, yesterday. >> No, I was dropping my kids off at camp. >> Guess it was in the city yesterday. >> The car was? >> Yes, because uh my friend who's in the store right now um came here to get groceries. Was he was he with your friend yesterday or was it just your friend in his car? >> It was just my friend in her car. >> Your car? >> No, it was not. >> Whose car? >> Her car. >> Okay. >> So, you're you're saying that out of you, man. Anyways, hey, Brand. Hey. Hey. I'm tattoo artist, bro. I do tattoos. >> I appreciate that. I get bred for doing with this right here on your arm. I look like and I'm not high. Both of them denied having anything to do with the theft, but they had no idea the police already had photographic evidence. Just watch how they reacted when it was shown to them. >> Tell you that [clears throat] right now. >> Okay, let me show you the picture. Hey, and then you tell me. You tell me if I'm lying. Okay, I'll show you the picture yesterday. Okay. And then you tell me if I'm lying. All right. >> Let's see. >> How many blueing taho are there >> out there? Get the out of here, bro. >> Hang on. Hang on. >> You got a light? >> Hey, >> check this out. How many blue Taho have the same license plate sticker on them, bro? Right. So, >> that wasn't our car. >> That is your card. I'm looking at it, man. >> If it is, they got the wrong car. >> Katie was driving yesterday. Remember? >> Chill. >> So, right now, you're being detained while I investigate this cuz the car was used to theft. >> Okay. >> All right. >> Can I get my light, babe? >> You got a light for him? Is >> this the lighter? >> Yeah, but it won't light. I need a jump start. >> Hey, why don't you go see if you can find him a lighter over there? She'll let you get a lighter. So, you saying you weren't in this car yesterday? >> No, I wasn't. >> Okay. You said you're dropping the kids off in >> Yeah, I dropped the kids off at this. >> Okay. Not your car. Car? >> Yeah. >> Hey, Kirby, why don't you stand with him real quick for me? Okay. Your car was involved in a theft here in the city of Kirkland. So, let's go with you saying, "Hey, it's not him or it's not Brandon. It's not you." So, who was it? >> My friend that's in the store probably. She took my car yesterday. >> She has She I can't >> 1 2 3. I'll take one more here, please. >> I don't want um I'm not going down for something that she did. >> Yeah, she did. And And I'll tell you what. Well, he he's giving me a bunch of lip. I'm going to show you the proof that it was your vehicle. Okay. And you can tell me if I'm lying. How's that sound? Hey, is that your car with the [ __ ] around sticker and the same license plate right here? >> So, >> yeah. So, right now, you guys are my theft suspects, right? Until I know otherwise. Well, she's in the store right now getting her medicine, but I don't want to be known that I told that it wasn't it was her, not me. >> Okay. She a big bigger gal. >> The man completely denied the vehicle while the woman blamed her friend instead, only raising more suspicion. Meanwhile, officers had already approached the friend she mentioned. >> Right now, you're detained because >> you had possession of the vehicle that's out there. That's your friend's car. Yesterday, >> I had possession of the car. Oh, you know, like I've been on my deathbed, right? Like >> I mean, death bed or not, you match the exact video footage of a theft that occurred at Ross yesterday in our city with that car and you talking to the loss prevention officer. I'm sure you remember it. So, I just want you to be honest and tell me what happened. >> Talking to the loss prevention officer. >> Yeah. On your way out. I don't think you realize he was lost prevention. >> So, tell me what happened yesterday with all that. >> Sir, seriously. >> Yeah. I honestly I'm very ashamed right now. I don't think I'm going to say, >> but can I please just at least get my prescriptions? Cuz if you're going to take me to jail, I at least Can I at least >> Yeah, well, we'll work through that, but talk to me about yesterday. >> I just said I'm ashamed of what happened. >> I know you're ashamed of what happened. So, what what happened to all the merchandise you stole from Ross yesterday? Is it Is it still in the car? This is a lot right now. >> I know it's a lot. >> This is a lot. So, it turned out the woman in red had been telling the truth the entire time. She was eventually cleared of any involvement while she also revealed more information about the man. >> I'm going to tell you something right now. Like I told him, he does not have a good background of police being nice. Okay. Racial profiling, racism. It's >> Well, but today he's already lied to me because he did commit a crime and he was the one who committed the crime in our city. So, he had this chance to be honest with me then about it. Right. So, >> yeah. But he doesn't need to go to jail either. He's He's out of He's on Suboxin. Okay. He's out of his meds. His appointment's tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. If we miss that, he's screwed. >> Well, we'll go chat and we'll see how honest he is with me >> because he is not going to be honest. >> I'm >> And just like the woman had warned earlier, even after both women admitted everything, the man still refused to face the truth. >> The gal who was also involved in this theft yesterday, right? >> And wasn't involved here. >> What do you think? She told me about the theft yesterday. >> Was involved in [ __ ] Okay. >> What the you guys talking about? Probably got the wrong card or something. >> Okay. If you're not going to be honest with me and giving this chance here, then today you're going to jail. >> Be honest with what you want me to do >> about the theft yesterday, man. >> You say I broke the law so you could take me to jail. No, >> I already know you broke the law. Brandon, >> say you got me theft. You got the wrong car. You leave me the alone. Leave me out of it. >> Let's pay him out searching. All right, Brandon, you're under arrest yesterday for theft. You >> okay? Cuz you committed theft yesterday here in our city. No. Step out. >> That's down here. >> You want me to head [ __ ] to see [ __ ] >> I do. >> No. >> Okay, babe. Give me my phone. >> I'll be calling you. >> Bail me the out. >> Whatever this [ __ ] is, >> babe. >> Yeah. Okay. >> Yeah. Okay. The woman was charged with theft, while Brandon was also arrested for participating in the Ross theft. Even when the evidence and confessions were already stacked against him, some people still believe denying reality would somehow save them, only making the consequences even worse in the end. Next, these women still naively begged for forgiveness even after getting caught. >> Is shoplifting a crime? >> Could you Can you please just I never I never got in trouble like >> items. No, cuz you know >> on the 29th of August 2023, officers approached two women sitting inside a vehicle after suspecting them of being involved in a theft case. But even after being called out directly, both women acted as if the officers standing beside them didn't even exist. Come on. >> Seriously, I know what you just did. >> Let's go. Step out of the car. to be a whole country. Come on. >> Come on. Listen. You know better. We deal with you all the time. >> All right. >> Like I'm homeless. I never right. I get that. >> I don't want to get in trouble. >> But you're shoplifting. You just shoplifting. Come on. Stop it. >> Hop out for us. What's her name? >> You seen a cop car sitting right there? You didn't think they were watching you guys? >> Although they appeared calm on the outside, both women were clearly panicking inside because moments later, they admitted to the theft and showed absolutely no intention of taking responsibility for it. >> Let's go. >> Is shoplifting a crime? Could you Can you please just I never I never got in trouble like >> Can we just return the items? >> No, cuz you know would you return items if you didn't get caught? >> Hop out for me. Come on. Let's go. The quicker we get done this quicker you guys get out of here. >> All right. So now what? >> There's going to be a shop with me. >> So now what? >> Give me your stuff. >> You're going to come back with us. Come on. I was so cool with you. Why you doing this [ __ ] >> Put in the back of the car. >> Danielle, you got cops. >> Come on. >> Who's this guy? Yeah, for real, bro. We trying to help you guys out. You're doing this. >> Yeah, for >> Although the suspects had already been taken into custody, the real challenge still remained as the stolen merchandise was believed to be mixed in with other belongings scattered throughout the back of their vehicle. >> Just leave everything down. It's fine. Excuse me. >> What's up, man? everything. It's a mess and I don't know who to do. >> You got [ __ ] in there that you shouldn't have. >> I'm not worried about that. >> No. And I don't like I just don't want everybody touch you. >> Well, I seen her carrying this bag. >> Okay. Well, then >> I'm carrying this bag. >> Oh, hold the bag. >> Was in there. >> If you don't belong here, you need to go. >> Sorry. >> Hit the road, brother. Hit the road. >> Peace out. >> Maybe next time you win. >> I got two under. Can I just give him a kiss real quick? >> He's probably going to come back to the station. >> Yeah, you can give him a kiss. >> Over here though. Over here. Over here. You can slide over. >> Come on. >> You're going back to the police station. Yeah. Come on. She's got pipes in there and I'm going to put them in your car when we get >> I got bags in my car. >> Do you have those merchandise? Do you want to put them both in your car and I'll get back? >> It didn't stop there as officers also searched the bag the woman had been carrying where even more stolen items were still hidden inside. >> Have a cigarette. A cigarette food. This is just Is this from there? Be honest with me. Period. >> I thought they were underwear. >> Like a big breath. [ __ ] >> I know. Listen, if you were to get caught, these are probably the best two officers in our department to get so far by because they're most understanding. So you're hungry, you need twizzers when you're hungry, get something with protein in it, bro. Come on. The rest of that is the two women were charged with shoplifting and possession of stolen merchandise. Many thieves believed they could escape by hiding stolen items among piles of cluttered belongings. But in the end, the truth always came to light. Next, two girls, but two completely different fates. >> She threw the box right there. And then she goes back. Ameilia goes back and make sure that >> Please protect my girl. On the 17th of April 2025, officers received a report from Walmart after two suspects were caught shoplifting inside the store. But it quickly became clear these suspects were far from simple. Here's what unfolded when police arrived at the scene. Hey. Hi, I'm Officer Lucia Albuquerque Police Department. You guys are both detained, not free to leave in regards to the shoplifting, and then you're a runaway. Okay. How long have you been away from CFD? >> I'm on a runaway. >> Are you in CFD custody? >> Yes, ma'am. >> Okay. They have you as missing. That's why I'm saying okay. Who are you supposed to be with? >> I I'm I live in a housing program. >> Do you have a what? >> I have a housing program. I live like >> I'm sorry. >> I do a program through you. >> That's right. >> I'm not missing. My housing manager is outside right now. >> Okay. I don't know. I'm just telling you what when I ran you that's the information that popped up. Maybe they meant to take you out and they didn't. You know what I mean? >> So the cops just got her. >> Are you APD? Mhm. >> Yeah. I'm just waiting for my partner and I'll give it to my car. >> Who are you talking to? >> I fell the glue. That was it. [snorts] Do I need to get off the phone? I got to go, Josh. >> From the trembling, stuttered words of the woman who had been reported missing to the tearful regret of the other girl, both eventually admitted to what they had done. Soon after, officers made their decision. >> Am I still going to be able to talk to my swagger? [music] >> Okay. So, stand up. Face away from me. I'm going to place you in handcuffs. Okay. Face this way. >> I'm trying to get these up. That's why the rest of us is just the one that you have. Okay. >> Robert, >> who are you talking to? You don't want me to. >> Okay. >> Did you guys drive here? >> No. She's right outside. >> Okay. Is your friend? >> No. >> Oh, she's your housing. Okay. Like I said, just when I ran your information, I was sure that you were missing. Maybe it's old. I don't know. We'll figure it out. Okay. Anything on you that I need to be aware of? Anything that could hurt? >> Okay. We're going to walk back to >> All right. I'll be right back. >> And then here to the right. Okay. When we get to my vehicle, I'm going to conduct what's just a pat down is just for weapons before you sit in my vehicle. Okay. >> What's your first name? >> I'm >> The other girl was identified as a 17-year-old reported missing. So, the guardian from the program she mentioned was called to the scene to handle the situation. >> Okay. >> She showed me the receipt. It's 27. I used to work loss prevention. So, um I kind of explained to her I understood like they they saw them. and they have them on video and stuff. >> Did the Did the juvenile call you? Is that how you guys got here or how did you end up? >> Yeah. Yeah. So, the juvenile called Well, actually, Amelia called you. Fair enough. >> Um and she was saying that um they were they were calling APD and uh >> so I don't know if you know Amelia's back. >> Yeah. >> Sorry. So, we just got her out. She just reported a few trial today. Okay. >> And um so I completely understand that what they were saying is they wanted to see TR, right? Right. Well, I actually haven't talked to them yet. I just didn't know. So, basically, when I ran the juveniles information, she was coming back as a a runaway. >> Okay. So, she's >> just so that way I can get her out. >> She's in our program. Um, I'm so partnership with CD and we are responsible for these kids. >> So, we are under interesting. Okay. Yeah. So, she's a >> Yeah, that's what I'm talking. >> This way. This way. This way. >> Thank you. >> You have a phone with you? >> No. >> No. Okay, >> that's fine. Just don't smoke in there. Okay. Do I have Do you have it on? >> I have to. Yeah. >> Yeah, of course. >> So, they're both in the same program, in the same facility. Okay. >> And so, how did they get here? >> So, they uh she went to pre-trial and they were uh >> they I dropped them off. >> But I had no I had no idea cuz our center Yeah. Cuz our center is down the street. So, I took her to pre-trial. Back inside the store, a loss prevention employee provided footage that would become nearly impossible evidence for them to deny, >> right? Um they were, you know, we had two females coming in with bags. I started watching them. I right away noticed Amelia um just from the vlog, stuff like that. Um they went and made their way to cosmetics. After cosmetics, Amelia selected some eyelashes and some glue. And then they walked out of cosmetics, went into Home Lines and they went into a corner and they started opening up the packaging. She gave the eyelashes to Amelia or to I'm sorry to Elise. She grabbed the eyelashes, concealed it and then Ameilia got the box and threw it and then um in that little corner she concealed the glue. So when we brought him in here, she said, "I didn't take anything. Um it was all my friend." When we did the pat down, they had the stuff that we observed them selecting. So, >> she was like looking around. Oh, it's her again. She threw the box right there and then she goes back. Ameilia goes back and make sure that she like stuffs it in the back. Um, so at that point when they go to the front, I have my partner take over camera and then that's when I I put the packaging already back at customer service. But I went back to the floor and grabbed it and it was empty. >> Okay. >> At this point, officers approached the woman who had initially acted remorseful. But the involvement of her accomplice only added even more charges against her. >> Talking to me about what happened today? >> I don't know. I don't think so. >> Okay. So, >> sorry. It's just cuz last time they told me. >> Okay. So, we won't then we'll we'll we'll take that as a no and then we um I won't ask any questions in regards to what's going on. Um I will be contacting your pre-trial officer just to see what our next steps are going to be in regards to you. You are going to be criminally trespassed from the property um per their request and then we also have the shoplifting portion of it as well. Okay. >> Watch your knees so I can close this. >> So, you are going to be placed under arrest in regards to the shoplifting and the contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Okay. No. Please, could they talk to my parole? Please don't do anything. No. >> So, in regards to your pre-trial officer, obviously, he's not here. I had to talk to the supervisor. Okay. The supervisor is not putting forth any type of additional criminal charges. He just has to put in a petition to the judge, and the judge will decide what happens. Okay. [laughter] >> Please. So, can we talk to him? Talk to him the free. >> We can definitely try to give him a call, but that's not going to change the outcome of today. Okay. >> Charges. The 17-year-old girl was trespassed from Walmart and released back to her guardian, while the other woman was charged with felony shoplifting, criminal trespassing, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Many offenders believe acting remorseful or shifting the blame will lessen the consequences, but in [music] the end, their own words and actions often become the very thing that makes the charges even worse. Next, these shoplifterss even used innocent family member to make the situation more difficult. >> YOU GUYS GOT ME JITTERY. I'M 4 MONTHS PREGNANT. NO, let me out of these handcuffs now. >> My back. >> I have I have back problems. I disc. >> On the 22nd of August 2025, police were dispatched to a Walmart store after reports claimed that two women had been shoplifting inside the store. Even worse, they were allegedly not alone during the incident. To make things clearer, loss prevention officers began breaking down everything through the surveillance cameras. >> That's her right there. That's her right now. >> So, is it just her or is it both of them? >> That's um only her her friend. That's her friend. >> Okay. So, she's not still >> technically the she's part of >> she um they they have a drawers. >> She popped one of the drawers apart. Stacked them two. So, it looks like there's one, but it's actually two stacked on top of >> Yeah, they're together. They got a kid with them. That's a crazy. >> Do we know if they came in the car or do they have like a lookout? Do we know? >> She was the lookout. The friend was the lookout. >> Which way are they going? They're going the other way. >> She going to the bathroom. They're going to the restroom. >> Can I tell the kid that their mom whose mom's a loser? >> Child. >> That's what I said. >> The other one's [ __ ] bricks right now. >> I think they saw those two security guards walking. So, we're good on the on the black female. >> Yeah. All right. Let's go grab. >> She's in the bathroom. >> I identify as a woman. >> One of the women allegedly rushed into the restroom suspected of concealing merchandise to avoid detection. But the situation quickly turned chaotic once officers approached her. >> You step on out. All right. >> I'm sorry. >> Step on out. You're concealing items. You're under arrest. >> No, I'm not. >> Yes, ma'am. You are. >> I just saw these items in here. I was just looking like what was up. These are my items here. >> That's all right. You're underest. I'm not resisting. I'm not resisting. >> I'm not concealing items. [laughter] It's under paper. RAINA. >> I'm not concealing items, sir. Please. I NEED >> Stop resisting or you're going to get tased. >> Resisting. >> Give me your hand. Stoping. Put your hand behind your back. >> Put your hand behind your back, >> ma'am. Put Put away the taser at all. Give us your hand or you're going to GET >> Please come get Noah. They're arresting me. >> Come get Noah. I DON'T KNOW WHY they're arresting me, bro. Please come get Noah. [screaming] >> Come to the bathroom, bro. Stop. Stop, bro. >> Rocking off. >> Stop. >> Stand up. >> Stop. >> Stand up. >> Hey, stand up. >> Stand up. >> Stand up. >> Stand up. You're making things worse. >> Okay. Wait. Wait. >> You're going to get more charges. Just stand up. >> I'm going to pull my pants up. Please. >> Meanwhile, the other woman was stopped by another officer. And judging by what she had witnessed, she didn't seem willing to make things easy either. >> I'm right here. I'm right here. They're going to give me Noah. I'm right here. >> Hold on. Hold on. NO, Y'ALL GOT to give me my kid. Y'all can't do that. >> Listen. >> Listen. Y'all are going to give me my kid. I'm not put my hands on y'all. I'm not touching y'all. So, you can go get my kid. Okay. Then I'm going to go get here. We're here. >> You guys are doing stuff in the store, RIGHT? >> DOING WHAT? TRYING TO PAY FOR SOME [ __ ] >> OKAY. What >> you talking about? Don't come at me like that. Don't come at me like that. Detain. YOU WANT TO CHECK MY PURSE CUZ I DON'T GOT >> YOU WANT TO hang out? You want to relax or I can put you in handcuffs and deny you? >> No, you can't do nothing. No. Come here. >> Come here, daddy. >> Take a step to the side. >> Step to the side. I'm not. >> You going to give me my nephew. I'm going to tell you that right now. >> Step right here. Do not move again. If you move again, you're going to >> I'm pregnant. Put your hand behind you. >> Excuse me. >> Relax. >> Excuse me. >> Relax. >> I'm pregnant. You're putting your hands on me. Please let go of me. Relax. >> I will cooperate with you guys. Please let go of me. Please let go. >> Let go. Let go. >> Like you guys are literally putting me in handcuffs for nothing. >> So you put your mind on your back. >> You guys do realize you're putting me in handcuffs for nothing, right? >> Hey, little man. Come here. Come here. Bubble. Get my baby. >> Can she get my baby first? >> The baby's coming with us. >> No, I need her to get my baby. >> The >> I need her to get my baby though. You're not hurting my baby. >> Get my baby. >> I am Adori. I am. I got you. Trust me. >> You can put it right around my jacket is what you can >> relax. You don't make orders around here. All right. >> Okay. >> Y'all do realize you're putting me in handcuffs for no reason, right? Knowing that I'm pregnant and I didn't do nothing wrong. Like I literally have nothing on me, nothing in my purse, nothing. >> This is crazy. >> It was clear they were willing to escalate the situation, even with an innocent family member involved earlier. Even while stepping outside, she began asserting her rights as a citizen, seemingly as a way to reinforce her claim of innocence. >> So, >> we can't put you in there because the other person's in there. >> You cannot put me in there because I'm not going to jail for nothing. >> See, we never said you're going to jail yet. >> You need to take me out of handcuffs legally. You can. Okay, let me call my lawyer. Take my handcuffs off. >> Take a seat. >> Take my handcuffs off cuz you cannot do this. You cannot do this. >> Can you take a seat, please? >> No. No. I got to get home to my daughter. You're not working with me. I need to go home to my kid. My kid is at home with a baby. >> Take a seat. >> Bro, kid. >> Take a seat. >> What are you talking about? Get the off of me, bro. >> You're doing all this for NO REASON. >> NO, BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE NOTHING. >> SO WHY THE DO YOU HAVE ME IN HANDCUFFS? >> ARE YOU GOING TO STEAL? We get everything done with and then you can go about your business, RIGHT? >> FOR WHAT? I DIDN'T TAKE NOTHING. >> Are you going to Are you going to go inside the car? >> No. Get me out of these handcuffs, bro. Cuz like I already feel like I need TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL. I DON'T FEEL WELL. YOU GUYS GOT ME JITTERY. I'MING 4 MONTHS PREGNANT. NO. Let me out of these handcuffs now. >> That's not going to happen. >> I have a daughter I need to get home to with a babysitter. >> Okay, good. Listen to me. Listen to me. >> This is This is This is not going to happen this way. Okay. >> You have me You know, you have me in handcuffs, right? And I didn't touch anything. The two juvenile girls were charged with theft for stealing Nike Tech clothing. Reckless decisions made in moments of panic could quickly escalate into serious crimes with lasting consequences. Running from responsibility only made the situation worse, turning a simple theft into violent charges. True accountability and self-control could have prevented everything from spiraling out of control. Next, these women even created a huge argument simply because of their ego. >> Our kids understand any of you guys. >> We came into the store and we just apology. We don't come over. We need to apologize. >> I don't come over here. >> On December 2nd, 2025, officers responded to a gas station store after receiving a call about a disturbance at the gas station. And upon arriving at the scene, they immediately faced an intense argument that was still unfolding. >> Oh, thank you. BACK, PLEASE. >> We came into the store with the candy that she got in her hand. The kids had the candy in their hand. ALL THE >> EVERYBODY, let's go outside to talk. OKAY. >> I APOLOGIZE. WE CAME TO THE STORE and our kids when we came in our kids understand any of you guys. >> We came into the store with this with our kids. Okay. Our kids had this when we came into the store. >> He said our kids stood right here, opened the candy and ate it. >> THEY'RE BUT THEY CAME IN with that. >> Okay. Okay. It's not that big of a deal. >> To him it is cuz he DON'T EVEN CALL THE POLICE WHEN HE DON'T EVEN HAVE THE CANDY in here. But he needs to apologize to our kids trying to say that they stole and that they opening at their 80s. >> WE SPENT CASH AND THEN HE SIT THERE AND TELL US THAT BECAUSE WE DIDN'T HAVE EV, WE SUPPOSED TO LEAVE. >> We got cash. >> We'll get it figured out. We'll get it figured out. Okay, it's not that big of a deal. Let's just blow. >> The situation did not calm down, forcing the officers to ask them to step outside the store, which only made the women openly display their disrespectful attitude. >> We'll talk to you guys outside. If they DON'T LEAVE THE STORE, THEY DON'T LEAVE THE STORE. >> Don't leave the store. I'm going to arrest you for trespassing. >> That's why we like talking to women, dudes. >> I don't give A OKAY, SHUT UP. >> I JUST WANT YOU to handle everything outside like like adults. >> And then we can figure everything out instead of yelling and screaming. >> Shut up. >> I know. And then we're going to get through everything. I just need him to be able to check that. That guy needs to be able to leave. You know what I mean? Hey, relax now. >> You relax because evidently you don't get where coming from real that has nothing to do with anything. YOU >> I DON'T DOUBT THAT. LISTEN, I don't doubt that. We got money. >> Take you to jail for disorderly conduct in about 30 seconds. You are. You're yelling and cussing. So, YOU'RE GOING TO I'm going to go to jail. You walking up on her. >> You're going to go to jail. Now, here's the deal. >> I want to know everything that happened. >> I'm feeling threatened. >> I'll relax. I want to know everything that happened here. >> You got you got to show respect. >> I want to know everything that happened, >> but I'm not going to yell and scream in the store, but don't walk up. So, start at the beginning. Y'all will feel threatened. >> The women claimed that the candy in question had been bought from another store and brought in. So, the officer immediately went to that store to verify it. >> Did they just buy some candy here from you? >> A little boy? >> Yeah. One little boy in a white t-shirt. Yeah, he bought this. He bought a bubble gum. The little boy bought a bubble gum and he bought this candy. >> Perfect. Thank you. How many of those were bought? Do you know >> what? >> One of those was bought and then a bubble gum. >> And then there was some little some other little kids with them, too. >> No. >> Okay. So, it was just that one. >> Perfect. Thank you, sir. >> All right. So, he said that they bought one of the bubble things and bubble gum. So, I just asked. So, I'm just going to double check and make sure his camera doesn't show something different and then we're going to move forward here and we'll get everybody out of here. >> You going to apologize? >> Well, I can't make him apologize to you. >> Shortly after, the officer updated the situation with the employee of the store involved, who also had his own account that explained why he had become suspicious. >> The neighbor over here >> sold him candy. >> Yeah. >> No, that's fine. That that doesn't matter to me. >> Okay. I had the candy that to so many they playing with that and try to walk with the some candy of that too and I stop it okay please mine all put it back >> okay >> other whatever is your your ticket you buy two candy take two candy why I'm telling that that's the >> okay >> after that the reason for not a candy because one lady she was my neighbor that next time on that that plaza she tried to fight with my wife on kids one night I called for them and I leave this place because I can leave this environment the last year doesn't come by your store like openly She came in today with this association making it crowded. That's the >> That's nothing wrong with the candy because it's very simple. >> If he doesn't take it, that's fine. I just tell them, "Okay, this is your go ahead. It's fine." >> That's why I say that took mine as a bed. >> Got >> that is the point. >> Okay. You just want to leave. That's it. >> No, I want to trespass too. I need a paper to throw all of that >> all up from the counter and >> they threw it all there. Okay. You want them trespassed. The adults trespassed the two women or the three women and that's it >> and all kids. I don't like them coming. >> So in the end, the women were cleared and could have left. But the situation did not end there because they still chose to hold on to their arrogance. >> He just wants trespasses and WE JUST APOLOGY. WE APOLOGIZE. >> I don't come over here. So we going to trespass cuz he accused us of stealing >> and we didn't even steal. >> It's the disturbance and the candy and all. Anyway, WE WAS listen Are you going to give me your name for a trespass warning? Okay, then you need to leave the property now. >> We went over there. >> He wants you trespassed. Are you going to give me your name for the trespass warning or No. Then if you don't vacate the property, you're going to go to jail. >> It's supposed to serve and protect, right? >> If you don't leave the property, I appreciate your opinion. You're about to go to jail. >> You need to walk. That's fine. and I'll be a bad corporal. >> All right, I'll suck today. >> I suck. >> Continuing to follow their personal pride, some of the women returned to the store demanding an apology, which soon led them to face an outcome they never expected. >> Stop. Come here. >> Wait, why you going to arrest her? You better LEAVE ME ALONE CUZ I AIN'T do [ __ ] TO YOU. WHY YOU ARRESTING ME? WHY IS HE ARRESTING ME? Trespass after warning. >> I only got your information. I didn't trespass. >> You were told to stay off the property. >> You came back onto the property. >> 25 is pregnant. Chill. Chill. Chill. Chill. Not her. Stop. The baby. The baby. I don't know her. She's pregnant. >> What is SHE GOING TO DO? >> You were told to trespass after warning. >> All right. I'm on this. >> You're going to get more charges. >> Stop. That's that >> [ __ ] Stop. Come on. >> You suck. >> That's fine. >> You suck. You suck. >> You're going to catch all these new charges. >> You suck. >> Have a seat. >> You suck. >> Have a seat. >> That's fine. >> That's fine. Sit down. >> You suck. >> You can do it, dude. >> You can take my purse off my arm. 132 105 to arrest somebody. She just came over here with She didn't EVEN GET ON THE PROPERTY. SHE WENT BACK TO SHE WENT BACK ON THE PROPERTY. NO, >> she did not. SHE'S STILL ON THE RUN AND TOOK A PICTURE OF YOUR TAG. >> IT'S ON BODY talking about North Korea. >> No, she was not. >> The woman was charged with trespassing after warning and resisting arrest. Even when someone had the chance to walk away freely, refusing to let go of ego and continuing to argue only led to worse consequences. Sometimes the smartest choice was simply to leave and avoid turning a small conflict into a criminal charge. >> Get your receipt, heads out, goes right past. It's >> not to take I wasn't trying to take anything, honest, okay? My intention was not to steal anything. >> On the 12th of October 2025, police received a report from Walmart about a woman committing theft. But what made it shocking was that she was an onduty police officer still wearing her uniform. Shortly after, officers arrived at the scene to collect evidence through surveillance footage. >> The video cuz she's telling us something and I want to make sure that what she's trying to tell us doesn't match up. >> Watching her on the video. >> Yeah, she was in the front. >> Yeah, that that check those cell checks that are closed, but we have product there. So, we leave it all. She went through there. She had her phone out. Okay. Then she cuts around the corner, goes over to Clint at door two. Clint talks to her, she turns around, she goes to customer service. She reads the line at customer service for a minute or two. She rolls up, says a couple words to generally the team lead, comes out, heads back to door two, talks the plate again, circles back around, and then she cuts through up up through the chuck, turns around, gets in line, and selfch checkck five. Okay, she has selfch check five. She buys, she scans the tote, just the toe. Doesn't open anything. Scans the tote, just the tote. Gets her receipt, heads out, goes right past the the door host on one head and she's passed everything. She's passed the scanner. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> And that's when we stop her. Hey, what are you doing? >> So, cuz she's she's claiming that she was trying to find someone to watch her car cuz she didn't know where. But that doesn't explain why she would then try to push out the murder. >> Perhaps wearing a police uniform had made her feel a sense of security while committing the theft. But maybe it was exactly because she was an officer that she became anxious about what she was facing at that moment. >> Sure. So here's the situation, right? Obviously you know why we're over here. >> Yes, I do. >> Yep. Yep. What kind of animals do you have at home? >> I have dogs. >> Dogs? How many? >> Uh, eight. >> That's quite a few. What kind? >> Uh, Belgian Melanino and Yorkies. >> Okay, very good. Um, so why were the items inside of the tote? >> Like I said, I have two separate totes. I was going to do one for the candy and then one for my personal stuff. I was on my way home. >> Mhm. So why were the items inside of the tote? >> Just to make room. I wasn't Like I said, you can fit two totes side by side in the cart. >> There weren't two totes in the cart. >> No, I guess I grabbed I thought I had grabbed two, but I grabbed two lids. Okay. >> Okay. Um, and so you put the items in the tote? >> Yes, I did. >> The animal items, things like that. And those are your personal items? >> Yes, those are mine. >> Okay. All right. So, you put those in the tote to keep make room. >> Yes. >> Um, and when were you going to get the candy then? >> Um, I was going to get them probably around the same time. I was going around to make Candy usually melts. I didn't want to put it in my car right away. So, if I was just going to get it on my way out >> or come back in, >> okay, >> I guess. >> She tried to justify her actions by claiming she was simply making things more convenient for herself while shopping. But shortly after, the officers confronted her with other suspicious inconsistencies. >> Which one do you think makes sense? >> Well, like I said, I would normally put the totes side by side so they fit in there so I can lift the tote in there cuz one of them is usually the heaviest. It's the candy. >> So, you went to selfch checkout, right? >> Yes. What did you purchase at the selfch check? >> I just got the tote. I was >> Why not the items inside of the tote? >> Completely. >> You prefer the items inside. >> I did. I know. But >> then you tried to leave the store. >> Yes. >> And you got confronted by asset protection. >> Yeah. I was trying to go to talk to that lady to see if she could hold my card. >> Mhm. >> I was looking for my keys. Honest. Looking for my keys. >> I understand that. I understand that. Um I believe that you're looking for your keys, >> right? Yes. >> Well, here's the deal. that you did a crime today. >> I know it doesn't look good. >> No, it's illegal. It's not that it doesn't look good. It's it's shoplifting. >> That was not my intention. >> I'm not asking you what your intention was. >> I know. I know. I got >> I'm not saying when you got here you planned to steal stuff. >> No. >> She insisted that she had not come in to steal that day, but the store told a different story. They provided multiple surveillance clips from August 27 to September 30 documenting three separate incidents carried out in the same manner. The items were typically dog food, toys, and household products. At that point, the officers directly confronted her about her behavior. I'm saying something happened and along the way, all we paid for was a tote, and then we tried to leave the store. And you're saying to find a lady, but you went to customer service. You went to one of the greeters prior to going and purchasing the Atlified peace officer, correct? >> Yes. If I lost my keys, what are the keys for? >> My car, my unit. >> Yeah. So, if I lost my keys for my unit, I would leave my merchandise and go find it because it's kind of important. Especially, you said your weapons in there, correct? >> Yes. >> So, why go through selfch checkckout, purchase the tote, and then try to leave the store? We just need to be We just need to be on a roll. That's it. My playing games. It's not to take I wasn't trying to take anything honest. Okay. My intention was not to steal anything. >> Okay. That's not what was happening at all. >> At what point? >> No, none of it. No, none of it at all. Like I said, >> so you put all these items in the tote one by one. >> Yes. >> Asset protection watched you do that. They watched you close the lid on the tote after every time you put something in there. >> They've been they've been watching you. I watched the surveillance video. You look like a thief. I'm going to be honest with you. You look like a shoplifter on the video. I've watched a lot of shoplifterss on video. You look like a shoplifter. >> Okay, that's not good then. >> It's not. It's not. And it makes it hard for me to believe that you didn't remember things were in the tote when you went to leave the store. Especially when you grab the bag cuz you know what that looks like, right? What does that look like? >> Yeah. >> You grab one bag with a bunch of stuff in the tote you didn't buy. What does it look like? >> Yeah, it looks like I was trying to take some >> Yeah, it looks like you're going to try to make your purchase appear legitimate with a bag, right? You're going to put some stuff in there. And I don't know at what point your plan was to do that. I don't know. >> No, that No, that wasn't it. >> Yeah, >> I always get a bag and I use it for my Belgian to pick up poop. He's got the biggest >> Yeah. >> In the end, she was charged with multiple counts of shoplifting and fraud after evidence showed a clear pattern of repeated theft. Her actions showed that abusing trust and authority for personal gain only leads to greater consequences. No matter one's position, accountability cannot be avoided when patterns of dishonesty are exposed.
