Walk. >> Bro, I scared. >> Look, >> then get me out. Why'd you put ME IN HERE? >> BECAUSE YOU KEPT FIGHTING. >> That's why. >> SLAM ME ON THE GROUND. >> YEAH. >> ON September 5th, 2025, police received a call from Walmart about a woman who tried to leave the store with a cart full of unpaid items. When officers arrived, she dropped everything and ran, sparking a DANGEROUS CHASE. >> GET BACK HERE. I'MMA TASE YOU. Get back here. I'm going take you. Get back. >> What did I say? The lady sat right there and watched you. If >> you did, why are you running? >> Her panicked escape only added more charges. Yet, no one understood what she was so afraid of, especially when she insisted she did nothing wrong and even argued with the employees about it. >> That's dumb as to do anything, bro. >> People are so out of control. >> And then I asked you, can I scan it? She talk about no. I have all that in the car, bro. I probably missed it. You can't you can't steal anything once I stop you. What the man? >> That's ridiculous. >> You didn't steal anything? You wouldn't be going. Listen to me. You wouldn't be going to jail. But now you're definitely going to jail for obstruction. >> How many times I told you to stop and you kept running? >> Face the car. >> Take it. Take your hands off. Give me the phone. >> Give me the phone. While officers tried to control the situation, she refused to cooperate. Her continued defiance forced police to respond more decisively. >> Let go. >> I paid for everything in that car. >> The car. >> We know how I paid for everything in that on the receipt. >> It's on [screaming] the receipt. >> Stop. >> STOP. >> IT'S ON THE RECEIPT. THE LADY STOOD RIGHT THERE. [screaming] WATCHED ME OFFICER. >> LISTEN, let go. Let go of the bag. >> Jesus Christ. >> Like, I don't understand why I keep my Not getting in the car. [ __ ] I DIDN'T DO THAT. >> I PROMISE YOU. >> I PAID FOR EVERYTHING IN THAT CAR. >> 880 Fox. I'm 15 at Walmart. >> By this time, loss prevention had finished checking the merchandise, and they were certain she was in the wrong. Even so, they still couldn't hide their irritation over the suspect's behavior. >> Did she actually steal something? >> Oh, yeah. >> Okay. Just let me know what it was. >> Yeah. We're going to go and >> it wasn't worth running, >> but as soon as I told her, you can't pay for here talk about it. I put her cart to the door and she was >> Yeah, I saw I saw her running right away. >> So, um I'll go get a total. >> It's It was literally like five things. Yeah. >> Why are you running? >> Well, >> because she got other >> Yeah. >> But even with the truth laid out, she still insisted she did nothing wrong. With every move [snorts and music] the officers made, she showed just how unwilling she was to cooperate. What's your name? [snorts] >> What's your name? >> No, I'm not telling you my name. >> Listen to me. >> I don't give a WHAT YOU GOT TO SAY, BRO. >> OKAY. >> I scanned everything in that car. >> Listen to me. We're going to do this one or two ways, right? You need to be searched because I haven't searched you and you're in my car. >> I don't Then GET ME OUT. WHY'D YOU PUT ME IN HERE? >> BECAUSE YOU KEPT FIGHTING. >> That's why I SLAM YOU ON THE GROUND. >> YEAH. >> Talking about YEAH, I DID. >> YEAH, YOU DIDN'T. YEAH, THAT'S WHY I KICKED YOU. >> NO, you talking about >> All right. Um, she's getting obstruction. She ran away when we tried to stop her. They're trying to figure out the amount right now. She was trying to, but she resisted. >> Yeah. Step out for me. >> Stepping out. >> Oh my god, man. Like, I don't understand why you have to make this hard. >> I don't understand why you got to make this so hard because talking about I told you you're robbing me. >> Stop. >> Stop. Just stop. Do you have anything that you need to be worried [clears throat] about? >> No. I'll put my >> You have any pockets? >> No. No. >> Put my arms down, please. I'll put my >> But it didn't stop there. Officers searched her personal bag and discovered another possible reason behind her sudden escape. >> You want to get with them? What? >> Appreciate it. >> Just need her ID from from in there. She has one. >> Yeah, my she was running. Okay, I'll grab a bag for that. Got to move my batteries around a little bit. 275. >> In the end, she was charged with resisting an officer without violence, petty theft, and possession of marijuana. Her stubbornness only made a small problem worse. If she had cooperated instead of running and arguing, she could have avoided extra charges and humiliation. Next, the woman even tried to run with a bottomless pair of pants. >> She didn't do anything. >> She didn't do anything. >> I did it. Holy Jesus. >> Hell yeah. Come on. >> On July 4th, 2025, police were dispatched to the scene after receiving a report from Win Dixie about a woman who had stolen $300 worth of goods by hiding them in her pants. But she had no idea that everything was already caught on camera. When officers arrived, they quickly arrested her after she tried to escape. Put your hands behind your back. Come on, too. Didn't do that. >> Hey, stop. Stop. Do not move. >> She didn't do anything. >> She didn't do anything. >> I did it. She didn't do it. >> I didn't. She didn't do anything. >> She didn't do anything. >> I did it. >> Okay. >> I did it. She didn't do anything. It was me. >> It was me. She didn't do nothing. >> Are you hurt anywhere? >> She didn't do nothing. >> You're being detained. >> Stand up. You're being detained. >> Okay, I got you. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Let go of your fles. I got them. >> I got it. She got it. I'm good. You're just being a tank right now until we figure it out. Okay. >> My arms hurt. Can y'all stop walking? Can one of y'all hold me? Just one. No. >> That hurt. >> That chase was anything but safe. So the officers had to stay calm and carefully escort [music] the woman away. >> Are you hurt anywhere? >> Cuz we went down to the ground. Are you hurt anywhere? >> I copy on you. >> We're going to try not to drag you up. You got to do some work though. >> Get out. Try to get up from all >> Well, we're going to help you cuz you're handcuffed. We're going to make sure you don't fall this way. >> Are you Tanya? >> Is that you? >> Here. Help. Help her get up. >> Oh, she can't talk all the time. >> All right, let's get her in the car real quick. Antonio, >> she didn't do anything. >> Yeah, your crab legs are falling out. [laughter] >> All right, we'll get the We'll get the deputy to get out. He's got a bag coming. Those items [snorts] falling out of her pants after the chase instantly destroyed her claim of I did nothing. The store manager later confirmed it as well. >> Okay. Tell me what happened in that store. Yeah, we had the two, one with red hair, one with the black hair. They were walking down the aisle and they have crab legs and all of a sudden they disappeared in their purse. Me and the store managers approached them and asked for the receipt cuz you could see them through the purse and she just kept walking and said, "No, I'm leaving and just kept going." That's when I called right away. >> Okay. >> All right. Can you hang out for one second? >> Yeah, absolutely. No problem. >> I'm going to be right back with you. I appreciate you coming over. >> Yeah, absolutely. >> So, they've got two in custody, so I'll be right back. According to the manager, the woman even walked out despite multiple warnings. Worse, she involved the red-haired girl who was still a minor. >> Where's your mom at? >> She home. >> She home? Who? Who is this other lady to you? >> That's my auntie. >> That's your auntie? >> Excuse me? >> What? >> Can Can I get that phone and call my mom? >> Not right this second. We're going to figure it out here in a second, but we need to know what we have first. Okay. Yes, sir. >> Do you have a driver's license or ID card? >> You got nothing? How old did you say you were? >> 17. Hold on. >> She said she's 17 and this is what she gave me. >> On the other side, officers searched the woman and were hit with another surprise because she still had plenty of stolen items hidden on her. >> Do you have like leggings under your pants or is that it? the crabs. >> Holy Jesus. >> Hell yeah. Come on. >> Jesus. Keep the stuff that was separated that was being thousand. Was it just the two shrimp and the I don't even know what that is. Rips. >> Rips. >> Anything else? >> No. All right. Face the field for me again. Do one more check. >> The woman was charged with petty theft and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. This case proves one thing. No matter how confident a thief acts, the truth always comes out. Cameras don't lie, and dragging a minor into a crime only makes everything worse. In the next case, this woman believed that stealing wasn't a crime, just an accident. >> Put your hands behind your back now. >> Are you help me? >> I can't help you talking. On September 22nd, 2024, police received a call from Walmart about a 31-year-old woman named Mercedes who hid merchandise in her bags and backpack. When officers arrived, she tried to run, but they immediately stopped her at the door. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Give me please please. Please. Please. No. >> I need your help. I need your help. I need help. I need your help. I I'm paying everything. I have money. I have money. Listen. Listen. I I have to provide you. Please. >> Please. I need I need I need >> Stay still and stop resisting. Listen. >> I need your help. I need your help. Please. Please. I'm paying everything. I'm paying everything. I see it. >> I'm paying everything. I'm paying everything. I'm paying everything. I have the money. >> What she was begging for was already far too late. Worse yet, every action she took was considered resisting, only creating more trouble for herself. >> Help me. Please. Please listen to me. Listen me. Listen me. Listen me. >> Just stay still. Just stay still. Let him let him do what he got to do. >> Help me. >> You're making it worse. >> Help me. Okay. Help me. I'm taking with me. Okay. Okay. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Okay. Sorry. Baby, please. I don't know. Please. >> I need to walk. >> Okay. Wait. Baby. Stay. >> I have the I NEED YOU. STOP. [screaming] STOP MOVING. STOP. I need I need your help. I need your help. >> Okay. Calm down. CALM DOWN. AND [laughter] WE'RE GOING TO HELP YOU. >> We're going to help you. But calm down and listen to him. I need it. I need it. I need >> Stop fight. [screaming] Listen me. Listen me. I'm paying everything. Everything. Everything. I'm paying everything >> right now. I'm paying everything right now. Please. Please. Officer. Officer. Officer. I'm sorry. Say official. Officer. Listen. Officer. Please. OFFICIAL. >> OFFICIAL. OFFICIAL. OFFICIAL. PLEASE, please pay me. I'm paying. >> Clearly, her desperate pleas would not be granted. And once she calmed down a bit, the woman began offering reasons why she didn't want to face any trouble. >> Okay, listen me. I have the probation. Please, you're not like my problem. I'm paying everything. I'm promise. I have the money right now with me. Please official. >> Hey, he's not we're not going to keep >> official. I'm sorry. I'm sorry for [laughter] >> listen. Listen. You just got to calm down. Sit down for a sec. Okay. Yeah, >> I'm paying everything. >> Oh, careful. >> I'm paying everything. Okay. >> I have the money, please. >> Sit down for a second. >> I'm paying everything right now. I'm pay more. No, >> if you're not going to listen to me, I'm not going to listen to you. You You understand good English? [laughter] >> Okay. Yeah, I understand. >> You understand? You understand English? >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, you don't need a translator. >> Okay. No, no, no. English is good. >> Yeah. Only I I know. I don't need the co please. I I have I got the money. I got the money. >> Okay. You got the money. >> Okay, stop talking and listen to him. >> Okay, you keep on saying that. You don't want to go to jail. So, first things first, you shouldn't have came into Walmart and spend 2 hours. >> The staff had been watching her from the moment she walked in. Yet, she stubbornly tried to change the situation, unaware that the law isn't so easily bent. >> Probation, right? >> But you come into Walmart and you spend 2 hours walking around stealing. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. >> Well, you want me to help you? I can't help you. >> Yeah. Help me. Help me, please. Help me. Listen. >> Listen. I'm not forward. Listen. I'm sorry. It was offic Let him do his job. >> Officer, I'm sorry. >> Okay. I listen. Please. I told you going to jail. No. No. Let me turn off the thing. Stay with her bud. >> Okay. Sit down. [laughter] Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. No. No. No. No. No. >> I had the one problem. I know. >> You're not listening. Sit down. Sit down. >> Are you the power? Help me. >> I can't help [laughter] you talking. >> No one help me. Please. Hey, I tell you, I'll pay everything right now. Help me. >> Her non-stop begging kept interrupting the officers. And on top of the shoplifting, she was carrying something that made police even more suspicious. >> Listen to me. Stop. Stop. Stop. >> Right now, I'm not Right now, I'm going ask you a serious question. >> Great idea. >> What is that white stuff that's in there? >> What? >> What is it? >> Okay. What is it? Look, you got me, him, him, him, and the other guy here. >> I need to know how serious that is. What is Okay. What is that white stuff? >> Why? What? >> For your headache? >> Tylenol for your headache. >> No. >> Okay. Crystal matter. >> It's not. Is it fentanyl? >> A little bit. Maybe a little bit of fentanyl. Thank you. claiming it's crystal meth when I have a little bit of flat on turned off the fan. I guess the pipe walk you walk a little bit. You suck on your thumb a little bit. Then you kept on walking. I see no I'm sorry. Okay. >> Okay. >> I'm sorry for for everything. I'm hide there. Mommy, please help me. Help me. Help me. I'm paying everything right now. Help me. Help me. Please. Help me. Help me. >> Well, with everything you done, I can't help you. >> It's unclear how many times she pleaded, but she spared no one, directing her please at everyone present, forcing the officers to work hard to calm her down. >> I I need stuff sweaty. >> What? >> Screw down. >> What? >> Screw down there. only any day. Please speak with the official. >> Listen, listen. I'm tell I didn't want her to try to bite me. >> Here, lean back. >> I'm going to give you >> quench your thirst. >> Lift your head back. >> Yeah, >> it doesn't matter. Listen, >> I know >> you're rambling cuz you're high, but it doesn't matter. You're >> I have the one problem. I know. I know. I need help. >> So, >> okay. But I I don't like to go in the jail. Please, I'm paying everything right now. I had the money for pain. >> You should have paid for it the first time. >> What? >> Sorry, you made a mistake. Don't make a bad person. Just now you got to deal with the consequences. Deal with it. >> I know. I know. But I'm paying now. >> It doesn't work that way. >> Yeah. >> You got what you got me. Listen me. I know. I'm going to speak with you. Push through. You know, help me. Please help me. >> I am. We are going to help you actually. My father in the Mya >> Yeah, but I think she's going to slip. >> The woman was charged with resisting an officer without violence, possession of drug paraphernalia, and thirdderee grand theft. Panicking and pleading won't undo your actions, and trying to manipulate or resist only makes consequences worse. Honesty and taking responsibility are the only ways to prevent a bad situation from spiraling. Even more brazenly, this woman went from store to store taking items as if she were shopping. >> I already handed it back to them. >> Already what? >> Took it back in there to them. You didn't get it back to them. >> Okay. Cuz they didn't tell me you gave it back to them. >> I did. I went straight back in there and gave it back to them. >> On May 29th, [music] 2025, police received a report of a stealing at Aldi totaling $1,000. Security footage described the suspect as a woman wearing a red shirt. Upon arriving at the scene, officers approached a man standing outside, suspecting him of being an accomplice to the woman. >> You was just at Aldi's. >> I was. >> Okay. >> I wasn't in Aldi's. I was just standing outside. >> Okay. There's a couple females with you that was at Aldi's. >> There was a female with me that went I don't think she went into Aldi's, but uh I was I'm on the phone. I I wasn't paying attention, man. >> Okay. We're in a red sweater. >> Um Yeah, she's in a red sweater. Yeah. >> Yeah. Okay. Well, the Aldi's called us about uh stealing in Aldi's. I have no idea about that, bro. >> Okay. Do you have anything from Aldi's in your backpack? >> You have any groceries in there from Aldi's? >> I do not. You >> do not? Okay. Um, do you have an ID on you? >> I don't, but I'll give you my name and my social security number. >> Okay. Um, cuz they're going to want you barred from there. Where'd the female go? >> Anything at all? I don't >> Well, you know what I mean? They're private business. >> You're not standing outside. You mean on the phone, bro? >> Well, you know, you was with her. You're guilty by association, I guess, right? >> Oh, man. That sucks, man. I'm sorry. I didn't know she was doing that. >> Where Where'd she go? >> I I don't know. She said, "Follow me." And then she disappeared. I don't I came around the corner. Like I said, I'm on the phone and I wasn't paying attention. >> Yeah. >> So, >> what's your name, man? >> Uh Tommy. >> What's the girl's name? >> Uh I think her name is uh either Leah or Kim. She goes by a couple different names. >> Big difference. >> I know, but she goes by a couple different names. >> What do you call her? >> I call her Kim. >> You call her Kim? >> Yeah. >> The man calmly and cooperatively insisted on his innocence. While he was being questioned, the female suspect reappeared and was immediately called over by the officers. >> It's Mahan. >> How's it going? >> Good. >> Huh? >> Better. >> Yeah. Uh stuff from Aldi's. >> I already I ran out trying to catch the bus. I already handed it back to them. already. What? >> Took it back in there to them. You can get it back to them. >> Okay. Cuz they didn't tell me you gave it back to them. >> I did. I went straight back in there and gave it back to them. >> Okay. On the phone. >> I'm not saying you're not on the phone, but >> Yeah. >> Okay. You have any groceries in your bag there? >> No. >> What did you have? >> Um, it was like some honey buns, uh, some meat things, um, Oreos. Um, spoon. >> Yeah. >> Um, maybe that's it. >> Okay. Um, let me make sure that they got their stuff back or whatever. >> Yeah. I mean, >> and they they I believe they just want both you bar. Okay. >> Okay. Yeah. The bus ran. I didn't know they wasn't going to let us on there because he had what he had. You know what I mean? You know, >> I have an Irish beer on me. A knife. Following standard procedure, the woman was detained so police could continue processing the incident. Store employees also provided their input regarding her actions. >> All right, man. Drop your stuff. You have a warrant for arrest. >> She got one out of out of pickup, too. >> Okay. Jackson, >> there you have one. >> I didn't know you even had one. When that come out? >> No, I mean like Wonder W came out. I usually I'm usually up on that list. I don't know. Always on that list. >> Maybe come out today or something. >> Maybe anything illegal on you. Any kind of weapons or drugs, anything crazy like that. >> Are you wait here for a second? I'm going to go talk to him. >> Almost have a seat for me. Anything. Look at the bags up there. >> She give the stuff back or what? >> Yeah. >> Yes. What? You guess she give it back or? >> Yes, she gave it back. >> Okay. All right. She's arrested anyways, so she had a warrant. Um, you guys want both them trespass or one of them or both of them? >> Both them trespassed. Okay. Yeah, we'll do. So, it was uh Kimberly um aka also Meadows and then the mayo was Tommy. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> So, >> we we've got them both. They'll let me get um your information for the report. Okay. >> All right. She gave everything back barred from the old Aldi's. Um what she want to do with those belongings? We're going to take it with us. >> She won't want to leave with him. >> I would rather go with us anyway. >> Although the woman had certainly returned all items to Aldi, when police searched her bag, they discovered additional belongings, some of which appeared to come from multiple other stores. >> You ate all the Doritos. >> Some clothing. I if you want to dive into that or not. >> No. >> Some Gabes clothing. >> Gabes, you know, got the the tags on it. Got some shoes. Was that >> Tommy Hilfiger? Let's see here. Probably. Yeah, probably either that or like one of these stores here. Popping tags and some Mountain Dew. Probably get rid of that, too. Oh, yeah. It's all all good. Nice. Nice new stuff. >> You want to do a good deed and tell me where a lot of this stuff comes from? I'm sure you didn't buy it all. Now I can take it back to them. >> Uh-huh. >> I bought it half price off somebody. Oh, you did buy it >> off off of a person. >> Off another person. >> Yeah. >> Okay. It's just all got tags and stuff on it. You know what I mean? >> Cuz I don't have anything on Brown. People keep stealing everything. >> Yeah. Lots of sunglasses, too. >> Sunglasses. >> How much it cost for all this stuff? >> Cost me 125. Huh. Figured it'd be a little bit more than that. >> Half price. >> How much the bag cost or I guess bags? >> They're half price. >> That wasn't the question. >> I don't know. >> Police returned to TJ Maxx to clarify the situation and confirmed that the items had not been purchased as she had claimed. >> Weird question, but we have a female has a warrant. Got her arrested. Anyway, she had a whole bunch of Gabe stuff in TJ Maxx stuff. >> Oh, she did? >> Yeah. She's probably about like yay tall red hoodie and black shorts. >> I think I with you. >> Yeah. I don't know when she was in the store, but she claims that she got everything and everything was half off. I'm like that's that's flag on the field. That is >> Yeah, that that is incorrect. So >> Okay. >> But if you want we can gather the items cuz we haven't found a receipt for the stuff, return them to you or >> so I need to get like um a receipt showing how much. >> That would be great. Yeah. >> Um yeah, it sounds like the other officer has everything separated. So, I'll go grab that. Bring it in. Are you guys in the business of pursuing charges or just what? >> Um, so that I would have to >> I'm not giving you that bag of TJ Maxx stuff. That entire bag of stuff is stolen. I know it. You know it. Whether you bought it for 125 bucks or not, the entire thing is stole. The entire bag. And there's no >> That's the whole idea of paying out prices or something. >> What? >> Yeah. Well, you know what that's also called? Receiving stolen property. I'm not giving you that stuff. Oh [ __ ] >> Right. I'm not giving you that stuff. So, it's all going to go back to them. >> I'm not going to charge you for that, but it's going back to them. It's obviously stolen. That's a huge problem up here is people stealing. So, >> yeah. If if they can bring in the merchandise, I can do like a fake receipt. >> Okay. >> Sorry. All bad. >> No, no, you're good. We're just going We're me and uh Kim here. We're going to get this entire bag back. That the bag and everything. The bag and everything's brand new. I mean, she unders, you know, there used to be a tag. >> Well, oh, >> yeah. She didn't she didn't steal it, but she knows that the purpose of buying a half price is the fact that it is stolen. >> Yeah. Also, they said they don't have there already discount stores, so they don't do half price. >> In the end, the woman was charged with theft and possession of stolen property, the dangers of trying to profit from stolen goods, and lying about their origin. Others can learn that even seemingly minor thefts can quickly escalate, leading to arrest, legal consequences, and a loss of trust. Even worse, these thieves came prepared with a plan to deny any wrongdoing. >> Cuz we did not leave out the store with nothing. We had stuff in our hand, but we did not leave out with nothing. >> But if it's not on camera that I took anything, then what's going on? >> They trying to take us to jail. On March 14th, 2024, police received a call from a store reporting two teenage suspects committing theft. Everything captured on camera. Yet, when the officers arrived, these women brazenly pretended nothing was happening. >> Where? Don't reach for it. Oh, I'm sorry. got a lot going on. >> So, we going to what? We going to do nothing. >> But we didn't take nothing. >> You attempted to take stuff and then you went back into the store and fixed it. >> We didn't though. We had stuff in our hand. We never left out. This lady was on that officer. I thought he was on the phone with the asset protection guy. They said they even got you on camera. Okay. So, all the stuff that you'll be able to see to Okay. We didn't just show up here out of nowhere, if you know what I mean. >> So, just go in front of the door on the cameras and they'll deal with it. So, >> so we got we got to get charged today. >> There's a lot of questions we got to answer. Have you you know, have you been arrested before retail? >> Yes, we have. >> Okay. Have you been arrested before retail? Everybody's still eating. Do y'all see that? Exactly. >> Well, I know. I know that the lost production agent wants her. >> She doesn't. So, I have to figure out what you want to figure out. Okay. >> To be thorough, the police met directly with the store employee to assess the incident and allow him to determine the store's response to the wrongdoing they had committed. >> Okay. This is something they initially pushed out. >> Uh, yeah. They concealed it in their bags. >> Okay. Uh, absolutely active. Most active. >> Perfect. Uh, anyone else with them that you know of? >> Just the two that I saw. >> Just the two. >> Um, could you uh make a receipt on this of how much? Like >> you want it combined otherwise I can try to figure out like unfortunately that one um I don't have I didn't have on camera. >> The one that orange she had consumed on camera. >> She consumed. Okay. She did not though. >> Uh she had stuff concealed in her bag too. I just unfortunately >> don't know which one. >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, we know though that she for surely >> Yes. >> stole. Okay. >> Okay. >> Yeah. Cuz like I know she was walking around with these. >> Okay. >> For a little bit. And then I think >> we said we're 100% that she concealed. >> Concealed cuz she had the Nike things. I think she had socks. >> We're just not sure what all cuz they brought the stuff back in. So, we found it all. So, I say we just do a spine tour together >> and for both of them as Yeah. Well, they push it out. So, >> right out. We're good. >> Um, so he's going to get a receipt and start working on that, but there's enough for her, too. Um, >> um, so I know he's going to get a receipt for that and work on it. I'd like to get photos just like we did for our last >> I won't we won't put anything away. I can take photos of the stuff. That's not a problem. >> Worry about dealing with uh >> I can assist here. >> Yeah. Worry about dealing with her. Get her 1080. I'll get photos of this and price-wise and then work on videos >> and we're not going to separate. >> We we can't I mean like we just know they concealed it both together because of the item. So >> I'd imagine >> do we have any prior with them? >> Yes. Or I don't know if we do but they do both have been arrested for >> so just do all county with it regardless. We'll set it up together for combined total >> from the employees account. The orange-haired woman had multiple clear actions on camera and also had items hidden in her bag. So, the police decided to take her into custody immediately afterward. >> This will work. >> I appreciate your cooperation, man. We'll get through this. >> We're as decent with you as you are with us. >> So, we're going to pull the squat up so you don't have to walk in the rain. >> I'm going to put you in a nice dry, heated squad, and we're just going to figure this out. Okay. So, I'm just going to follow everything that we're expected to do. >> She already same for everybody. Same for everything that put you in the spot and that's just going to go with us. >> Okay. >> I'll put in the front with us and it'll just stay with you. >> Okay. >> You good? >> Yep. So, Aaron just did a search. >> Yep. We'll just do another quickie at the squad. So, one quickie just for before we put you in the squad. Go ahead. >> Your feet for me. >> We just don't know yet. Same thing. >> Okay. Cuz we did not leave out the store with nothing. We had stuff in our hand, but we did not leave out with nothing. >> Don't look at the videos. We're kind of going by what we have. >> I cannot be doing this stuff. Like, no. Is that right? I do a side note. All right, >> we'll figure it out, man. Thanks for your cooperation. >> Note that the stolen cart had baby items, which made the officer suspect the woman was pregnant. A suspicion they didn't know she would use as an excuse to resist them. >> This is ridiculous. I'm getting picked up, too. So when I said what's going on >> I'm going to go to the district. >> Well, how much you know you guys? >> I didn't tell. >> Okay, there you go. That's your answer. You're going to go to county. >> State the jail. We don't know if you have any like This I'm pregnant too. So can you please not put this treat? I'm >> 15 weeks old. >> I didn't get anyone. Oh no. So can y'all explain to me again cuz I don't know why I'm keep being arrested or >> you put items in your purse. >> No. She know I didn't put nothing in my purse. >> What my phone right there too? >> How long does it cost? I have like be at work. The woman still forced an innocent looking expression even though the cameras had captured her and her accomplice fleeing the store. But when they saw the police, [music] both panicked, rushed back inside, and dumped the stolen items. With the truth exposed, she did [music] not escape a fate equal to her accompllices. >> Going to get you in a squad here and then probably go to jail. Okay. >> I'm going to jail too. Mhm. >> Why? >> For retail theft. >> Why am I going to jail? I didn't take nothing. >> For a retail theft, ma'am. We already executed it. >> Can I execute? Let me take just a little. >> No. Well, we Well, >> ma'am, can you tell me what's going on? >> When she when she know, she'll let you know. Her teeth come here. I'm going to get it. Not even tight yet. >> Both women were charged with retail theft with Amari also facing an additional count of bail jumping. Ashanti was fined $140 while Amari's case remains under trial. No matter how convincing your excuses may sound, the truth always surfaces and your past mistakes will eventually [music] catch up with you. Next, a theft turned into chaos due to a shocking reason. We find another [music] item sitting on the table. >> So that's stuff that you didn't scan. >> Yeah. I Okay. [screaming] >> On February 2nd, 2025, police responded to a call from Walmart after employees spotted on camera a woman deliberately missing multiple items at the selfch checkckout. By the time officers arrived, the suspect had already been escorted to the loss prevention office. Here's what happened next. What you got? >> So, um I was observing her. >> Okay. >> Um at register eight, I'm sorry, nine. >> Okay. >> I did not see her um scanning the shoes. >> So, that was my learn right there. >> Okay. And then after we went to the shopping cart, we find another item sitting on the table. >> So that's stuff that you didn't scan. >> Yeah, I know. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> She gave us the name of Jessica. >> And uh we already told her that, you know, more than $25. We want to put a pass and she already got it. So >> very good. >> And here's the training receipt for >> Just set it down. I'll grab it. Thank you. >> They were not paid for. All right. >> But despite the clear evidence on camera, the woman still insisted it was a mistake, claiming she had been in a hurry. >> Okay. All right. So, why did we skip scan stuff today? What happened? >> That it was an accident. I was in a hurry mostly and I thought the EDT would take the, you know, the shoes cuz I have the money and then I thought I scanned and you popped up with the round thing, you know. So, I thought it went on there but it didn't. >> Okay. Like if I even thought it didn't, I would I would have stopped so easily. Like I I >> um the rest of that stuff. What happened? So you told me about the shoes, but what happened with the rest of the stuff that's sitting over there? >> I I I thought I scanned the chips and [ __ ] like you can see me in the video going with the little arm thingy to scan it. >> Mhm. >> Like I didn't even know. If I would have known I would have I wouldn't freaking stop, you know? like she she came out and I stopped right away because I thought it didn't scan and like it's just been a rough week. Like >> but from her words, it was clear she might not be fully sober. At this point, she even tried to do things she wasn't [music] allowed to, forcing the officers to intervene immediately. >> We're not We're not as I don't know why you're What's in your pocket? Don't touch it. What's it? Don't touch it. What is that? >> Stand up for me. Nope. Don't touch it. Don't touch it. Do not touch it. Get your damn hands out of your pocket. >> Okay. Hey, >> stand up for me now. I'm sorry. Can I get it? >> No, you cannot actually. >> Okay. You want to get a resisting? What are you doing? >> It's >> okay. >> God, I'm Oh my god. Please don't. >> Ow. [screaming] Grab the bottom. Grab her. Grab her. [screaming] Grab her. >> Oh, you're hurting me. WHY DID YOU BREAK? >> OW. [screaming] WHY DID YOU HURT ME? I'm going to kill you guys. OW. WHY DID YOU HURT ME? Get off of me. Why would you hurt me? OW. WHY ARE YOU DOING THAT? >> I'm going to sue you GUYS FOR THIS. YOU MIND? You're going to break my heart. >> Ow. Your belly. >> You're going to break your stomach. >> Her resistance only made the situation more [music] complicated. She even went so far as to turn the blame back on the officers. >> You're going to break my arm. I wanted you to like me. [music] >> This is abuse. I'm going to be the cub. >> Yeah. I know you're going to be huge. [music] >> Got one. Oh, WHY YOU HURT ME OUT? I WAS YOUR knee tapping my face. >> Here, pin her down. Just get her down. I'm going to see you guys. >> I'm going to see you guys. [clears throat] I'm going to see you guys help. >> She me with it. >> No, you hurt me with whatever the you had. What do you mean? You guys were the ones who jumped on top of me and I'm going to see you guys. >> It's still in her hand. >> Well, I didn't see. Ain't nothing in my hand but you mother trying to kill me. >> That's me. >> Yeah. No, I'm bleeding because you guys hurt me with whatever you guys have. >> Open your hand. >> Open your hand. Damn. >> I'm bleeding IF YOU GUYS GET OFF of me. >> Open your hand. You're going to get chased. >> Call the loggers. >> OPEN YOUR HAND. >> WELL, GET OFF OF ME. >> Open your hand. Why did you guys hurt me? >> She dropped it. It's in between your legs. >> That's okay. I'm going to call the laws when I get to. You're going to go to jail. >> Stand up. >> Go to jail. See you guys. >> Whoa. Get off of me. People to stand up. You got to get off of it. >> Let's go. >> We're going up. >> See you guys. Get my back. >> We'll be back. We'll be back in. Let's go. >> The trouble didn't stop there. With no intention of cooperating, even getting her into the patrol car became a major challenge. >> Oh my god. >> Relax. >> I am. Let me >> shut this door. >> What are you guys doing? I am relaxed. What are you guys doing? >> I am relaxed. I am not struggling. Why won't you get off of me? Does it look like I'm struggling? >> Not now. You stopped. >> Okay. Well, cuz you guys won't get off. >> You're still pulling away. >> You guys are hurting me. You guys are choking me. And you want me to not struggle. Can you guys tell me I can breathe? Like >> you guys stop. I would participate now. Can we participate? Oh my god. [snorts] >> Oh my god. >> Yeah. We're going to need that ambulance here. >> Yeah. >> Relax your arm. >> Going to have to get off me. He has my arm. >> Can you not see me holding my entire arm? >> Oh my god. I'm trying to >> car. >> What the >> Look, I'm going to >> LOOK LOOK, I NEED THE JACK ON. Please check. >> You all right? >> I'm cut pretty bad. >> At this point, the officers [music] reviewed the situation and discovered the real reason behind her defiance. >> You all right? >> I'm cut pretty bad. >> Sliced me open. My hand was in her hand when she crushed it. >> There's broken pipe broken pipe all over the ground here, too. >> So, it was a use of force. She got she crushed the pipe in her hand. >> She's hurt. She's cut somewhere. I don't know where. >> She's like >> I also got cut really bad on my thumb, >> but it's really for her right now. >> Okay. >> Cuz she's got to go to jail. >> Thank you guys. >> Yeah, >> she can walk and everything fine. I just we had to use horse or horse on her. We had to get her She crushed the glass pipe in her hand. >> How the out her cuffs again. >> She's freaking out a little bit and yeah, I cut my >> She's out of cuffs again. Hold on. >> Yeah, we'll let us out a little bit. >> Hey, can we get another >> Just I'm leaving. I'm not opening until someone else is up here >> cuz I can't. Yeah, I do. I get it. I know. And she's out of her cuffs again. The woman was charged with tampering with evidence, obstructing official business, and aggravated possession of drugs. The lesson here is clear. Resisting law enforcement only escalates trouble and can lead to more severe consequences. Always comply with authorities and take responsibility for your actions. Now, let's meet the officer's spoiled daughter who tried to outsmart the TSA with Xanax. >> Grandfather, Chicago PD, and so is my father. my phone. I'm going to talk to my dad. >> My dad. >> On March 26th, 2025, airport police were dispatched after reports of an intoxicated passenger causing a disturbance at the departure area. Let's see how they handled a fellow officer's troublesome daughter. Well, Gina, the way you're acting right now, they're not going to let you fly cuz you seem like you're intoxicated on something, right? So, Have you had anything? Don't just be honest with us. >> I will I'm um I have shots in the airport. Um but I What time is your flight today? >> Gina. Gina, when's the last time you drank something or took something? Gina appeared out of control, speaking incoherently, which which led officers to suspect alcohol use. But her day's behavior suggested something more, possibly medication that left her heavily impaired. >> What time is her flight today? Cuz right now, if you went to the gate, they probably would not let you board. >> So, but do me a favor. Finish tying your shoe. We don't want you to trip. I'm what I'm telling you is that if they don't let me bored, it's going to be a huge problem. >> Well, that's the thing. They're trying to avoid. >> So, >> I know I I >> will do anything. >> Okay. Well, start tying your shoe. >> Okay. Go ahead and tie your shoes so you don't trip. >> Who you flying out with? First of all, >> I'm not flying with anybody. I'm flying with >> No. No. Who you What airline are you flying with? So, I'm going to Orlando. >> You're going to Orlando. >> And who are you flying to get to Orlando with? Like Delta. >> My sister. >> Which airline? Like Delta, American, United? >> Southwest. >> Southwest. We just want to make sure. >> So bad. >> Feel so bad about >> We just want to make sure you're okay. All right. All right. Once she does, ma'am, you're going to have to go onto the other side. security. Either get a cab. I'll see if I can get a CCS to help you or you can you can go sit on the other side. >> What's your name? >> My name is Officer Davidson. Ma'am, I'm sorry. >> Davidson. >> Yep. >> When officers advised she couldn't board the plane in this condition, Gina became defiant and emotionally unstable, forcing airport security to step in further. >> It's not alcohol. Because if she was that if like let's say if she was that intoxicated, you'd be able to smell it. >> You're not smelling anything. >> There's no smell. Your eyes are dilated. Uh and basic basic what they're saying, whatever she took, she took right before she got on this plane. I think it was probably like uh Xanax wavered. You're so stand up. Stand up, please. I want you to walk to that officer right there. You can't. Ma'am, excuse me. >> Okay. Sit down, please. Sit down. Sit down, please. >> Ma'am, sit down right here. >> Ma'am, just sit down right here. >> There you go. >> There you go. >> Whoa. Ma'am, listen. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. First stop. >> I got her. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. Want to be in handcuffs? >> Go ahead. No, you got yourself. >> All right. >> When asked to walk in a straight line, Gina couldn't keep her balance and resisted, forcing officers to restrain and handcuff her immediately. [ __ ] All right. Come on. You're under arrest. Come on. You're under arrest. Public intoxication. Stop resisting. Give me your hand. >> Please. No. Stop. >> Go ahead. Hit hit the latch. Hit the latch right there. >> Please want to fight white female 1095. >> Yes. Yes. >> I just want to talk to my dad. >> I want to talk to my dad. >> I swear to God, my dad willing you. You have no idea who's the I'm messing with. My dad willing you and I'm being stupid. My dad will literally you so worry about it. He will in the next week. I promise you. >> Even after being arrested, Gina kept screaming for help, demanding to speak with her father, a Chicago police officer. And in her panic, she warned that he would handle them, leaving officers exasperated. Miss Gina, >> no. >> Miss Gina, >> you're done with you. So, you're going to sit down >> and you're going to listen to this officer. >> Sit down. Put your feet up right now. >> No. No. >> Do you think we got an AP up upstairs? >> Help. Help. Go get an A. >> No woman like this is wrong with you. >> We're trying to be nice to you. >> No, you're not. >> Nice. I don't care right now. >> We're not going to go. [laughter] >> Somebody help. Once taken to the security area, Gina kept crying, shouting, and demanding her phone, claiming she was being mistreated, just as officers discovered something shocking inside her bag. >> Different colors. [music] Wish you took a photo with that. >> How did she get back to the checkpoint? >> Yes, sir. >> Good point. Good point. Okay. >> See? >> Yeah. Xanax. Yep. There you go. >> It's a zany. So, she took a zany with alcohol. That's why she's so jacked up. >> Yep. >> I I need to talk to my father. >> This is so >> We're in Georgia, sir. >> My grandfather, Chicago PD, and so is my father. So, they know what's up. Just please let me speak to him. Officers found unprescribed Xanax in her bag, confirming TSA violation. Gina resisted, begged to call her cop father, and threatened officers. Her arrogance forcing police to restrain her inside the patrol car. >> No, >> I want to talk to my dad. Come on. I'm a young girl. Come on. >> I just got a seat belt. >> Yeah. Got it. You're slush all you want. PUSH ALL YOU WANT. MADAM, [screaming] YOU'RE ADDING WARRANT YOUR CHARGES. [laughter] >> What are you going to do? Go ahead, hit me. I don't care. I don't care. In the end, Gina was charged with obstructing law enforcement, public drunkenness, 13 counts of drug possession, and carrying medication not in its original packaging or with a legal prescription. Gina was a humiliating downfall for the cop's daughter, who thought her last name could shield her from the law. And now, let's see spoiled teen's $450 salon scam explodes in her face. >> Listen, if I pay for this, can I please HAIR SALON? >> I DON'T CARE WHO YOU ARE. >> I WILL beat you. >> On November 18th in Savannah, two young women got their nails and lashes, but when it came time to pay, they tried to run. One of them bolted out the back, leaving her friend behind. Here's how the police handled it. So try to get the car and then she go back. She has to go to the bathroom, right? And she go to the bathroom. Why she open the door? Even she should tell us. You can't her but her pen already gone. They were already run. And then she gave me the car. She run the back. I grab her bag and then she run back. I screaming my friend got her in the road and then she gave me the car. The car don't have money in there. So she said she got to pay for what she she want run away. for services that were done. So the services get have not yet been paid, right? Okay. So she's still here. Her friend is >> her friend ran away. >> Staff said the two women tried to skip out without paying. One used a card with no money. The other ran after pretending to use the restroom. They caught one and she acted smug and defiant. Your purse, right? Huh? >> Your ID's in your purse. >> My Can I please go get my phone from outside? The lady grabbed me when I was trying to go. They locked the door on some weird because me and her were supposed to pay to get >> I was trying to go outside was not trying to let me go outside in the back door and she tackled me. So I panic. I got scared and Junior didn't rush. So I ran away. Why did you tackle me trying to I never What's your first name? >> My name is Andy. >> Spell it for me. >> What's going on? >> All right. So apparently her and a friend came in for nails and lashes. They had done the rent of a bill of450, but she said they were supposed to pay together. I don't know what happened from that point. I'm still getting to the bottom of that. She's still here. Her friend took off. >> Andy grew angry, insisting she only went to her car for money, but tension rose fast. Luckily, another officer arrived just in time before the truth turned into a brawl. >> Well, actually, they chased her. >> They had to chase her and bring her back. >> Anyway, she wasn't talking to you. She was talking to me. >> I don't care. I don't care. I don't care. I don't care. >> I don't care who you are. >> Do it. DO IT. DO IT, BRO. Cuz I got 450. I [laughter] got 450, bro. >> Don't get my Don't GET MY OUTFIT TO >> I'M NOT SCARED. WHAT'S UP, BRO? >> HUH? OKAY. OKAY. >> You're talking with me. >> Me, not her. Okay. >> Ignore. >> Let her let her speak with them. Okay. >> Talk. You're talking to me right now. All right. [laughter] >> Officers quickly separated them for questioning. The staff and a regular customer exposed the suspect's true nature. While she kept arguing, she'd done nothing wrong. >> And when she walked, she looking right straight to the back door. >> To the back. Okay. So, y'all was able. >> So, one to the other one left. Y'all was able to get her keep her inside and then she gave you a card. >> She ran out the back door. The men chased her and brought her back to the car right now. Gave her the card. She gave She gave you a card. >> And she was back. Okay. I'm trying to make sure everything is >> She went out the back door. He chased her down and brought her back in the front door. >> They give me the first and >> she ran >> and I tried to run out to grab her back, but when I got her, she throw everything on. >> Showing your nails. She scratched her. >> Yeah. >> Show your nail. >> And my nail got thing kind of. >> Do you need the EMS or anybody to I have to >> staff described the scene as pure chaos. Andy ran out, fought back, broke an employees nail, and shouted she had money to pay yet never showed a dime. >> Can I listen? If I pay for this, can I please her salon? >> That's what I'm in the process of get >> She's speaking with her right now. Okay. >> This is weird. >> Okay. So, what happened? You You and your friend came in. >> So, me and my friend had came in for a set and lashes, right? >> Okay. So me and her already agreed before we came over here that she was going to pay for her half and I was half. We were supposed to put our money together to pay for the whole set >> which was the 450, right? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> So when when it was time like when I was getting my lashes done, she had left out to go smoke and I was trying to tell her to come out. So like she was like, "Oh, the dude in front of the door whatnot." And I had realized the dude was standing in front of the door. So I went to push the door and whatnot and the door was locked. It was so weird. So she was like just go out to the exit door or whatnot. So I tried to go out through the exit door that way to go to her so we can talk about how they was going to do this cuz we was never going to run away. That's stupid. The came and grabbed me and and trying to like hold me and I panicked cuz I wasn't expecting that from I I wasn't expecting that. So I panic and I took my jacket off cuz she was trying to like hold me. So I ran because she scared me and then they had caught me. >> Okay. >> And then the car when we jo the car she have money. But when I rent the car, the car say decline. It mean don't have no money. >> So it still hasn't been paid for. >> Yeah. >> And she went back. Oh my god. She gave me no fair. She acting so crazy. She keep running around walking around the middle. No, no, no. That's is a a private only inside people working. No customer. >> Faced with witnesses and undeniable evidence, Andy tried to pay, hoping to dodge the charges, but it was too late. She started cursing at other customers, forcing officers to deal with the wrath and the unruly young woman right away. >> Pop me. Pop me. >> We got to press me. >> We're not doing that. >> $2,000. >> We're not doing that. >> Let her go. You ain't got to press charges. I ain't going to press charges. ABOUT COPY THAT COPY THAT COPY that I'm about to put you in my car >> because you're not finished calling. >> You can call but you got to call out the car cuz put your enter. >> Can I get my phone? >> You can get your phone when you get in the car. >> Yes. >> Cuz if y'all going to keep arguing, >> we not doing that. >> That's right. Uh, so, uh, what about her payment? >> We're working on it. She's making a couple she's making a couple of calls. Like I said, we're >> In the end, Miracle escaped, leaving her friend Andy to cover the entire >> [music] >> $450 herself. Andy was charged with theft of services for refusing to pay the bill and disorderly conduct for causing chaos inside the salon. She was banned from the property and released with a court summons. Let this be a reminder. Quick lies and cheap tricks may save you once, but they always cost more in the end. Next, this woman lost her freedom all because she didn't want to be late for work. >> Um, but I can't at least document that in there. >> That's funny because at the front of my mess, which means >> Just turn around for me. Put your hands behind your back. >> I can't. >> On May 17th, 2025, officers rushed to a Family Dollar after reports that a woman had fled the scene of a car accident. And what happened next was anything but ordinary. Okay. All right. Just so you know, they hit me. >> Okay. Uh, well, before, sorry, say that again. >> They hit me. I didn't hit anything. >> Well, let's start from the beginning. Um, kind of I think your mom just called you to let you know. Or did she not talk to We were just over at the house. I didn't know if your mom >> They hit my car. You can tell from the zero damage on his, the totally horrible damage on mine. >> Okay. Um, >> I stopped because I saw them coming and he just kept going. >> Okay. Um, well, again, we just came from your >> Can we go over here? >> Yeah. Yeah, absolutely. We just came from your residence over here. I was speaking to mom and dad. That's why I didn't know if they just called you or not. >> The moment she faced the officers, she denied causing the crash and claimed to be the victim. Her nervous, evasive behavior only made police suspicion grow stronger. >> This guy's so weird. Like, he just been standing there for an hour waiting here. >> I was looking at him because I was like, "Is that the guy?" But he wouldn't say anything to me. >> Okay. Yeah. I'm not >> looking at him. Yeah. I'm not sure who that is. If we can just stand here for me. >> So, >> does that not happen? >> No, I don't believe so. But okay. But the reason I'm here is regarding the >> All right. Well, let's go around this corner then. Right. Right around this side here. >> How about on this right around this corner? Is that okay? >> Or would you rather right here? It's up to you. Okay. Um, so I'm investigating a hit and run accident. Um, after hearing what another party came in, >> car damaged? >> Yes. Yes, there was some damage on the other vehicle >> really bad and the only reason I left was cuz I had to go to work cuz >> they hit me. I was only on break. >> That's what I was going to again. I just wanted to speak with you, kind of give you a chance to tell me what happened. >> The woman tried to defend herself, claiming she was the one who got hit and only left to get back to work to avoid responsibility, even suspecting a nearby man of being the one who reported her. So you were driving, you were on your break driving. >> I was just bringing my car here because I had to go somewhere after work. >> Okay. Okay. So, >> and literally on the way here, they just >> Okay. So, you >> I didn't see them coming and so I stopped. I definitely I was hitting the brakes and I had stopped and then they just kept going anyway. >> Okay. Where was this at? Was it uh >> and I stood there and I parked over and I waited and no one ever pulled over. No one ever came to me and I didn't want to call the police until after my shift. Do you remember where it happened? >> It was by the fufales. >> Fules. >> Okay. >> On that part of the right over here at 12 from where I park and then I was turning to go here. >> Okay. You were making a left on the Palaski from 122nd. Okay. Um yeah, the the main issue I or we have is that the fact that you ended up leaving following the accident. Um >> I was going to report after work. I just I can't afford to I couldn't afford to just leave work. >> Okay. Um so I understand that. So the reason you ended up leaving was because you wanted to just to get to work. Um but we do have to address that now because it is a crime to leave a scene of an accident. >> Even if they hit me. >> Yes. Regardless, doesn't matter. Um I'll I could document that in my report that you said that they hit you. Um he was saying vice versa. Um but I can at least document that in there. That's funny because the front of my car is messed up, which means I didn't like it's the side. If I was hit someone, it would have just been the complete front, but it was the side. Do you need a pick? >> Okay. Um, no, I actually saw your car over here. Took a picture of your car already. >> Sorry, what was that? >> My mom moved it for me. >> Okay. >> I was so shaken up, I couldn't move it, so it was just in the middle of the street for an hour. >> Okay. The suspect kept insisting she was hit during her lunch break, even claiming to have photos and her mother as a witness. But officers made it clear leaving the scene of an accident is a crime, no matter who's at fault. >> Well, after the accident, I didn't go far. That's why I don't get why they would think I was hitting and running. I was literally right there and I waited for 20 minutes looking around. No one ever came up to me. No one ever said like and I was looking for dented cars, anything. And there was nothing. >> We're going to address Are you about to get off work right now? >> At 3. >> At 3:00. >> 8 minutes. >> Okay. Um, I'm going to hang out here until you're off your shift and then we're going to have to go to the station and address the hit and run issue. Okay. Um, so if you want or is anyone else here that can kind of take over for you until shift ends or do you normally and do you normally stay after? >> I could go, but am I being arrested? >> Okay. Uh, yes. Yes, you are going to be arrested. >> I'm going to jail. >> Um, just we're going to bring you there, process you. You'll be issued a citation and a and a court date for this. So, I have to send the night in jail. >> No, no, no. We'll only be there about 45 minutes to an hour and then you'll be released. >> After several minutes of explanation, officers confirmed she had left the scene and informed her she'd be taken to the station. Instead of cooperating, the woman panicked and began desperately pleading. Finally, she was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and resisting arrest. This is a harsh reminder that no reason, not even being late for work, puts you above the law. report it and take responsibility instead of avoiding the consequences. Let's move on to the next case. >> All right. >> What is it going to be now? >> It's a three. >> All right. >> On June 6th, 2024, police received a report about a woman acting suspiciously at Target. According to security cameras, she had taken items from the toy aisle, moving with clear fear that someone was watching her. She then moved through other aisles, attempting to conceal her actions, but store staff caught her and recovered all the items. Yet, when the police approached, the woman had completely forgotten everything that had just happened. >> Target? >> No. >> No. Let's step over to my car. Okay. Where are you coming from? >> We were over at McDonald's. >> Yeah. McDonald's. >> Yeah. >> Okay. And you match the description of someone we're looking for. >> You sure you answered it? >> Yeah. >> Hello. He's saying it wasn't her. >> It wasn't you that was doing the Okay. >> I wasn't at a target. >> You weren't at a target at all. 11. Do you have a lost? >> Seem a little bit out of breath. >> Well, yeah. You guys like I'm a little like freaked out right now. >> Yeah. if you could and have him respond to Matt. Do you have your ID on you, ma'am? >> Yeah. >> So, here's the deal. Like my partner said, there was a theft at Target. Described a white female, green neon shorts, blonde hair. >> So, loss loss prevention. I know you g they gave it back. So, loss prevention is going to come over here and see if it's you or not. So, if it was you, this be this would be the time to explain to this officer the truth. Okay? cuz based on your demeanor, I believe it's you. >> I'm a little freaked out. >> Okay. >> At this point, when questioned about the incident, she didn't even respond. It was likely the moment she was coming up with a story to justify herself afterward. >> You know, they have video cameras and everything else too, right? >> 11. You know, you got a warrant out of Centrellia for theft. Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> That was like a misunderstanding. I went into Famous Footwear with a pair of boots that I had purchased and I called and asked if I could exchange them cuz I hadn't worn them yet and they said no. And so I made a mistake and took them in there and swapped them out for a different size. And they couldn't even I had to show them which ones I swapped out because they were brand new. I mean, I know I was wrong and I shouldn't have went about it that way. >> This famous footwear over here. >> No, it wasn't. >> Oh, okay. >> The police continued to try to get more information from the woman, but all they received was her silence. Unable to let the situation drag on, they decided to take action. >> This is regarding Target. Do you want to talk about that one? >> You don't want to talk about the target thing right now? >> What target thing? >> Just with the Legos. I just want to know what you do with them and stuff. >> I don't know what you're talking about. >> Well, what this is what waiting for them to show up where >> they identify you. Then we'll have to deal with that appropriately. >> You're detained. >> We're not We're being polite. Not putting in handcuffs. >> Do you live around here? >> I live in West Olympia. >> Okay. >> All right. Just place your hands behind your back for me. All right. Well, unfortunately they have video and the person who's their lost provision just positively identified you. >> And you are going to be trespassed from this location. Okay. From the target. If you ever come back here, if you try to commit another crime, it's going to be a burglary charge. All right. >> What is it going to be now? >> It's a theft three. All right. In the end, she was transported to the Nisquali Correction Center and booked on one count of theft. Her attempt to hide the theft and stay silent backfired, showing that trying to avoid responsibility or lie only makes the situation worse. And facing the truth is the wiser choice. Right now, meet an employee who betrayed the very person who once helped him right at the workplace. >> Yeah. Not $20, $80, more than that whenever you need to help. Literally gave you a raise. We love having you on the team. You turn around and stab us in the back. >> The footage captured an employee secretly siphoning cash from the Favrip register over a twoe period in July 2024. Starting with 20, 40, then $80. His greed growing alongside the amounts. Each time he opened the till, he created fake refund transactions, tossed the receipts, and stuffed the cash into his pocket. What he didn't expect was that every move was recorded by Eagle Eye Live, the store's new realtime anti-fraud system. Watch how the owner ends up exposing and shaming him. >> But yeah, you see the free leg, tell him it's selling pretty well, so he could stock us up even more. Free >> here Thursday. >> Thursday. Okay. Did you talk to Ted's? >> Yeah, he hasn't text me back. How can we get like a pickup since we didn't get our last one? >> You could do the camera footage. All right. Thanks for uh your help in there. I had a quick question for you. Uh kind of a one-on-one thing where how you feel like you're being treated here. >> Oh. Oh. Oh, shoot. Oh, shoot. I mean, I'm you know, it feels pretty good. You know, like I say, you know, everybody's cool with me and everything like that. Are we taking good care of you? >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You know, >> anything we could be doing differently for you that we could help you out. >> At this point, the suspect appeared completely at ease while chatting with the store owner, unaware that the most shocking moment of his life was about to unfold. >> We do our best. So, you know, we have the same day pay if you ever need money. And in the past, we helped you out as well, right? >> In the past. So, >> you know about that? >> Yes. You know, same day. >> When you tell me about that around the time when I started here, you know? Yeah. So you you know if you ever need money. So I want you to watch this thing for me real quick. I want to show you something and let me know what you think of it if you're not subscribed. So check this out. Kind of observe it and let me know. You can hold it. I want to make sure you get it. You can zoom in and out on it. I want to get your >> Let me know when you figure out what's going on. >> Yeah. What's going on there? >> Yeah, that was definitely my mistake there, you know, in that situation. >> What kind of mistake we're talking about? >> Oh man, it's basically with the little I think it was like seven bucks, 7, eight bucks. >> Oh, it's more than that. But what do you think is going on there? You could explain it to me cuz I don't understand why you would do something like that after, you know, we're more than willing to help you out, give you same day pay or early pay, even just gave you a raise, right? >> Yes. So, what is going on there? Explain it to me. >> When the owner showed him the footage of pocketing cash, the employee nervously called it a small mistake. But weeks of evidence proved it was anything but accidental. >> Now, what are you doing? Explain it to me. >> That day, I end up accidentally taking a little bit from the door, calling you and just asking you, you know, and seeing >> how are you accidentally taking it out? Yeah, cuz basically, you know, I accidentally I just wasn't thinking and using my mind that day, my guy. >> Okay, that one day. >> Yeah, that >> keep watching. There's more days then. How many days? It's been going for a minute. And it's not just $14. It's a lot more than that. We We captured all the footage every time you did it. >> So, what is accident? You're doing a refund? >> Yes. >> Is that an accident? And then you take out the money and put in your pocket. Is that an accident as well? >> No, it's not. The store owner who had helped his employee pay rent, cover bills, and even Uber rides couldn't believe the man he trusted had betrayed him like this. >> But you know, you got asked me always. We always hooked you up in the past. Why would you do that? We just gave you a raise. We always helped you out even before payday. >> You did. >> You always come to us. We make it right by you. Our policies make it right. >> So you is it accidental or not so accidental then? I mean, like I say, it just was a lot of things what I went through at home where just kind of >> Yeah, but over the weeks you've been stealing then, right? You admit to stealing. >> Yes, but I didn't I I I should have called you when I asked you literally cuz >> I know you should have, but that's past now. So, you're hitting the lottery and we don't even sell lottery, right? If you watch the previous video, you know what I'm talking about. They could have then you start 20. The last one you did more than 20, then 40, then 80. It's been going on for a minute, hasn't it? It It's in there. Each date is on there. I got the full weeks on weeks on In and Out. >> As questions pressed harder, the suspect grew restless, blaming stress, family issues, and rude customers. He admitted taking cash multiple times, claiming he'd repay it later, as if that could erase his crime. >> You think you're you're slick. You know, we have live security. No, I know. [laughter] I >> How dumb are you? >> It ain't that um thing. It just like I say, Ber, I just had a lot going on. >> Yeah. You know, you could come to me. That's no excuse to steal, huh? You're trying to get away with So, you see that big date? >> No, I'm not trying to get away with it. It just like I say, you know, I just had a lot of things going on cuz it's just me and my brother. >> Yeah. But, you know, you've always come to me. We've always helped you out in the past. What made you think we can not going to help? But this is literally death, isn't it? >> Yes. >> You recognize that? >> And I messed up, girl. Bad. I was really good, baby. I messed up, bad. I'm sorry. >> I'm sorry, baby. I never did. I >> I'm sorry to let you go cuz we literally gave you a raise. We love having you on the team. You turn around and stab us in the back. I I didn't want to betray me. >> The owner stayed firm, listing every favor and ounce of trust Dominic had betrayed. Overwhelmed with guilt, Dominic broke down in tears up, but it was far too late to undo the damage. >> Oh my goodness. I never I never wanted this to happen. >> You want a felony on your record? >> No. No. >> You admit to stealing or no? Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. I'd do anything in a way of you know >> you can't do anything. I wish you well. I mean no ill will for you but you can't be on the team. So obviously you're fired, >> right? You can hand over the keys. We can't have you here if you're stealing money out of the till. And you're trying to be a manager here, but you're the one stealing. If you could take your keys off. What keys is that? >> Amber. Is these the historic keys? >> Keys. >> Yeah. >> In the end, the employee was charged with theft. an employee embezzlement, facing up to 5 years in prison, thousands of dollars in fines, and in order to repay all stolen funds. Let this be a warning. Greed disguised as need will never justify betrayal. Once trust is broken, no apology or excuse can buy it back. What do you think about cases like this?
