Everybody y'all are racist. Just shut up. >> Be nice. >> Your mama need to be nice. I'm trying to CHECK Y'ALL ASS. Y'ALL are racist as these people came here and did what they did. I ain't steal. We're just asking him to leave. >> Okay. He's not doing something to do. I did nothing wrong. >> Okay. Well, that don't matter. You still got to leave. >> Say sit in my bag. >> That's fine. >> Okay. Okay. >> No, you're good. Watch out. He's trying to that way. >> Hey guys, he's trying to bring the car. >> You're not going to do that. >> You're going to stay here all night. >> Your mom going to stay You going to stay here all night, too? [clears throat] >> We'll be We'll be all right. >> The woman stubbornly held on to her claims, insisting she had done nothing wrong, prompting the officers to consider a more serious issue. I can have all lock you up. You want you want to go to jail? >> Come, ma'am. >> Come on. >> What? Uh, >> come on. >> It wasn't much, but that's what she had in her book bag. >> Where did you get Where'd you get her at? >> Right here. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> I have to No, because I already know SHE SHE'S BEEN HERE BEFORE. >> SO, I already know she what she was going to do. She put it in her book bag. I looked at her bag. >> What's in my book bag? >> All right. >> Not anymore. >> Not anymore. >> Before my book bag. What's in my book bag? >> Tammy, listen. They're giving you the chance just to walk out. >> I'm not cuz I ain't doing [ __ ] wrong. >> Or the next next is just going to jail. >> Okay. I go to jail. >> Okay. All right. Um do you guys you guys get the video footage? >> Mhm. >> Right now? >> Uh >> I would need it right now. Charger charger, especially especially if she's been arrested and then go for taking her to jail might be our only option. >> And he can't do that ain't got no proof of >> Yes, please. Yes, I do. >> Either you walk out or lock you up. >> You just asked him, "Do he have footage of you?" He said, >> "He does. He does." >> After some time, the woman finally agreed to leave, but the process was far from peaceful, forcing the officers to consider another option. Let me keep in my bag. I'm coming back. >> If you walk back in, you're going to go to jail. >> I'm going to walk back. I got four or five attempts and I ain't done. >> Nope. You just got this last. This is last time. You go back in, you're going to jail. No, bro. >> Ask me if they'll sign. Hey, will you sign for criminal trespass? >> No sign for it. >> You go back in, you're going >> You walk back in, you're going to jail. >> Watch. >> All right. I'm a [ __ ] bomb. >> You've been verbally warned not to go back in. >> You can't do that, bro. You ain't got no paperwork. >> Okay, >> here we go. And you're going to jail, arrested. You're under you're under arrest. I ain't doing a break my bag. You're going >> I gave [ __ ] to them. Look how they treat me. I didn't even come in here. >> Nope. >> I didn't hit the doors. >> Yes. >> You're in the door right now. >> I KNOW I DIDN'T, SIR. >> YEAH. I never done nothing to her. >> I didn't do anything to these people, man. >> I did. >> You're good. >> I left her. I left her and I did nothing. >> Go back in there. And you went back in there. >> I did not go in there. >> Got it. >> I did not do that. >> All right, Tammy. >> My name is not Tammy. I did nothing to these people. >> You're getting charged. You're getting charged with resisting, too. >> One adult. >> I never done that to nobody. >> You've been warned. >> No, I did not do that. >> You want to grab her backpack? >> Yeah. You can swing back this way. >> We gave you every chance. >> You want to grab her back? >> I left here. >> I was getting food. I never done that to nobody. >> And you know that man with you as you do. >> I never done that to nobody. >> That was silly. >> No, it wasn't. I left. >> You left and walk right back in. I told you not to. >> You nobody did it. >> Yes, I did. >> I never done nothing to nobody. >> That's fine. >> Here. Can you hold her? >> Bro, I never done nothing to nobody. >> That's fine. Hold her to do something now. Hope you ain't got no >> Have a good day, sir. >> I'm going to point real quick. The woman was charged with criminal trespass to property and two counts of resisting arrest. When a business asks you to leave, refusing to comply can turn a simple dispute into a criminal matter. Arguing with officers and continuing to resist can lead to additional charges. Next, this woman wasn't stealing, but she treated the store as if it were her own home. >> Quit biting me. >> Not trying to be a jerk, but it's their policy. That's what we have to do. I just need your shoes. >> That's all shoes, aren't they? It's just kick the shoes off. Okay. >> On the 9th of February, 2026, police received a report of an intoxicated and unstable woman who had entered the back room of a gas station. [music] Listen to the store employees account to better understand what happened. >> Yeah, she's still back there. She won't herself. >> Have you ever seen her before? >> I have no idea who she is. He called me while I was at home and asked me to get up here. >> Okay. Um, she came out with a pair of scissors at one point and gave it to me here. >> But I mean that's where we keep all our product at. She I mean she pushed our product out of the door. I mean she's just hanging out or something. I don't know what she's doing. She needs out though. >> Okay. >> Hello. >> See she's back here. >> That side room over there. Yeah. >> She didn't come out right here. >> That one right there. >> She will not come out. >> Okay. It's locked. You said >> I think so. From the inside, >> the room where the woman was hiding was confirmed to be the store's storage room, meaning she could face a trespassing charge. At this point, she appeared to be ignoring the officer's repeated request to come out. >> She's behind there. >> Hey, go ahead and move those water bottles to the police. >> Wait for another officer to come in here, too. >> Yeah, you might want to help. She's not She's not coming out. barricaded door. >> Hey, go and come out here and talk to me. >> Do we know who she is? >> I have no clue. >> Yeah. And >> I I wasn't even in here. I was called at home to get up here. >> And she didn't leave because he turned that door open. >> She's come out once. She's active just like really oblivious to I mean just coming out like she owned the place and going right back in. >> Yeah. How long are we talking about? >> How long she been here? About 30 minutes. >> Lights. I'd say like >> she's in her mid. How long has she been here? >> I have no idea. >> We have no idea. >> I left here about 5:00 and there was nobody in the back room. >> Yeah. So, >> hey, can you write here and talk to me real fast? >> Like, >> I'm starting people coming in here. >> So, just like did this like pull her hood up like I was expecting to know was >> she kind of like she's looking at you but she's not. It's going straight through. >> Yeah. >> Something's up with her. >> You're not going to hurt anything by that door. Go ahead. Okay. >> Yeah. >> That's all it is. >> She's pushing against. >> Yeah. But there's >> Hey, go and come out here and talk to us right now. >> Ma'am, I'm Officer Runan. What's your name? What is What is it? >> What's your name? >> Hey, Heather. >> You need to get up, Heather. Okay. Are you Is it Heather Piance here? Come out here and talk to me, Heather. It's Officer Arnold. I talked to you the other day. IGA. Can you move this water bottle for me, please? The door was confirmed to be unlocked, but the woman was lying against it, making it difficult to open, and she was clearly not unconscious as initially reported, suggesting that she was deliberately making things difficult. Heather, you coming out? Heather? Heather, we just want to talk to you. >> Heather, here's the deal. >> Either either you can start helping us move stuff and come out of here on your own, or we're going to have to start using force, and it's not going to be fun. Heather, do you hear me? Go ahead and stand up for me. Get on the ground, Heather. Give me your hands. Give me your hands. Your hands right here. Quit biting me, Heather. Give me your hands. Quit biting me. Heather, get up. >> All right, come on. Come on. Get up. Roll it over here on me. Make some room here. My cuffs fell out. I had them out and I put them back in. And I've got another set though. We'll find those in a minute. >> Although the woman remained still, her position made things difficult for the officers who still had to repeatedly question whether she was actually okay. >> Can you breathe? Are you okay? Heather, are you okay? You okay? We're doing this for doing this for your safety. Okay. It's for your safety. If we can get that other arm. He's grabbing this one with one. >> Trying to figure out which angles >> there. Yeah, there's just not very many good ones in here. Here go my keeps again. [screaming] Found him. >> Yeah. Get those out of here. >> All right, Heather. We're going to have to stand up. You understand what we're saying? One, two, three. >> There, Austin. There should be a set of keys that fell. Okay. >> Are you ready? >> Yeah, I'm good. >> Heather, it's okay. We just didn't want to have to fight you to get you out of there. That's why we were trying to get you to come out on your own. Would have made things a lot easier for everybody, don't you think? >> The woman was eventually taken to the police station and notably, there was no sign of remorse on her face. >> She'll have some questions and things for you. Are you I mean >> I I don't Yeah, he knows her history better than I do and she's not going to tell us a whole lot. I don't think so. >> We're not hiding in any room. Go sit over there in that chair for me. Okay, >> have a seat. >> Or you can go sit in the max. >> Over there. Okay. >> The quicker you cooperate, the quicker. >> Oh, we can talk. >> Oh, awesome. All right. >> What's that? No, you can't have shoes back here. >> You got to you got to take shoes off. It's It's not anything against you. It's just policy. They have to. >> Period. >> Heather, we're not bargaining. You don't get to call the shots just because you're keeping your shoes. Take your shoes off and then we'll go from there. Not trying to be a jerk, but it's their policy. That's what we have to do. I just need your shoes. >> That's all shoes. >> Shoes aren't naked. It's just kick the shoes off. Okay. >> I can get you g. [clears throat] >> Okay. Can we Can we do that? You You got to work with us if you want us to work with you. Okay. Heather was charged with criminal trespass and resisting an officer. Ignoring officers and refusing to leave can quickly turn a trespassing situation into additional charges. Cooperating with lawful instructions can prevent a tense encounter from escalating further. Next, this repeat shoplifter came back not to steal, but to get revenge and cause chaos. >> There's a witness that said I didn't say that. >> Did you trash their store? [music] >> I know. >> Who trashed who trashed the store? >> Me for the ground. >> Get the off. >> On the 24th of July 2025, police received a call reporting a familiar woman suspected of stealing at the store. But this time it wasn't theft. It was an alleged act of disruption. Her boyfriend joined in leading officers to arrest him as well. >> He just called in the pop. >> Hey, take your hands out of your pockets. >> Security's right here, brother. >> Stay right there. Security's right here, though. Brother, >> if there was really a problem, bro, would have grabbed me, bro. I'm literally just talking to him cuz he comes over dead [ __ ] to me every time. >> What are you doing? What am I? What did I >> right now? You're being detained. >> I didn't do anything. >> Well, that's what we're going to figure out, >> bro. What did I do to >> I want you to chill out. Well, apparently you destroyed the car. The car that wasn't me, bro. >> That was not me, man. You destroyed arresting the wrong person. That wasn't me. >> I got a video. I didn't destroy nothing. >> And you're threatening. >> No, I did not. I'm not saying I'm you, bro. Act right now. We're detaining you threatened to shoot. >> Nobody's threaten nobody. Actually, >> she's behind the white car. >> Bro, bro, did I say I'm a shooting, bro? >> Bro, you're right there, bro. Be real. He just said no. >> Calm down. >> Sit out and see. >> Calm down, >> brother. You're right there, right? >> We'll figure it out. All right. >> You just said I didn't say much, bro. >> Come on. >> What the >> I got to go sit in the car, >> bro. Literally just said I I got in trouble for this recently, so I know not to put my hands on nobody. >> Okay, that's good. >> That's the smartest thing to do. Who's the Who's the girl to you? >> He said I'm like, who said I'm a show, bro? >> Who's the girl to you? >> He He's lying. >> Who's the girl to you? >> I got your girlfriend. >> Sir, >> he completely tried to distract the officer from the questions. In fact, he had also been reported for damaging the store earlier, but at this point, he denied everything. >> I never ask, bro, ask security guard to ask. >> No, you tell me why. Why are they saying >> witness though, sir? >> Why are they saying that? >> There's I don't know, sir. He's mad. There's a witness that said I didn't say that. >> Did you trash this store? >> No. >> Who trashed the store? Who trashed the store? >> Sir, there's cameras for that, sir. >> Who trashed the store? Your woman? Your girl? >> I don't know. I walked in there trying to get her out, sir. I don't know what happened. Literally, >> why is sheet walk back in cuz I'm trying to leave, sir. >> Why is she all upset? cuz they they came and they do this to me every day, sir. Every time I come in the store, I buy [ __ ] sir. I never ever like took anything, but they come to me and they just I everybody just >> Well, then maybe if you have a problem coming to the store every time, then >> Well, they have a problem with you. >> I don't know why, sir. >> Then go to another store, >> sir. Security can vouch for you. So, I I didn't. >> Okay. >> I know. I go to jail for that, sir. >> All right. >> Stupid. >> All right. Watch your knee. >> Watch your knee for a second. >> I'm trans. >> She's uh over there walking away. Uh, okay. Have him uh stop the female who's walking out towards 19th toward the post office. >> According to the camera footage, the woman was actually the one who intentionally damaged the store's property, leaving the man to deal with the situation while she walked away. Let's see how she reacts when officers find her. >> Officer to leave. Okay, >> I can be on the phone. Hey, >> why don't you put the phone down? >> Hold on. I'm going to FaceTime you cuz now the police are here and they people. Oh, >> okay. >> Stay on the line. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Don't Don't fight. >> What the >> Put the phone out. >> Get the off of me right now. >> Do not fight us. >> Get the off of me, bro. Behind your back off of me, bro. >> Hey, listen. >> No. Like, get the off me, bro. >> Making us harder than anything. >> No, cuz you're not going to touch me. You can wait till I put my down. You can wait until I put my down to get the off me. You act like I'm going to run nowhere. >> Okay. Put your hands behind your back. >> I will. once you get the off me cuz I'm not about to leave all of my Somebody better come get my cuz I just paid $77 worth of Somebody better come get my stuff. >> Bro, get that off of me. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> No. >> No. >> No. What did you say? >> Not that serious. Like you're doing >> I don't know where the he is because what the are they taking me to jail for? You're not under. >> Why the are you talking are you detaining me for? >> You're on the ground. >> Get the off. [screaming] >> Relax. Relax. Relax. [screaming] Relax. Stop resisting. Stop resisting. [screaming] Stop resisting. All right. I can't [ __ ] breathe though. >> What the [ __ ] WHY THE [ __ ] YOU ON YOUR KNEE IN MY BACK? [screaming] >> To better understand what happened, the store manager who witnessed the entire incident provided a detailed account of the events. >> She's throwing uh merchandise off and stuff and then he comes in and then uh some customer started blurting. I think it was these these guys um saying something about why don't you have him arrested or something and that's when he started like pointing and shouting at her uh saying you're going to die too and like that was about >> so she made the comments about bringing somebody over here to you guys up because you guys were telling them to leave because they shoplift. >> Yes. >> Is that right? >> Yes. >> And she's the one who causes the disturbance by knocking stuff off your shelves. When I got to the doors when he wanted to go after me, reaching his back up at the pants like he had a gun. I'll kill you. And then with the the blonde older woman that was next to me. >> Okay. >> Yeah. You [ __ ] [ __ ] I'll kill you, too. >> He said that. >> Yeah. Or she said that. >> No, he said that. I I barely saw her. I I heard the noise and then we were kind of following behind them. >> He directed her threat to me and him to shoot. >> So, the guy back here is just he's a is a loudmouth and would have went to town if there wasn't any authority here. He would have started swinging on whoever got him. >> If I'm not being arrested, then why do you have the cust on? >> Cuz you're being detained and you wouldn't listen to us before and you start tensing up and you get into my face like you want to attack me. >> I wasn't in your face. >> There you were. >> Just know everything's being a visually recorded. Okay. >> Came to my bubble. >> Okay. >> Based on the store's account and the evidence provided, police reached their conclusion. >> Show the ID. Please, sir. I don't want to go to jail, sir. Please. Bro, >> this guy's telling me that you threatened to him and you were waiting for him outside. >> No, I was not. That's what he said. >> Girl, sir, >> that's what you That's what he said. You said >> no, I did not ask the security guard. >> I did. >> But then I then I talked to somebody else. >> The security guard, he knows I was not going to Sir, he seen me walk away calmly before, sir. They always [ __ ] with me. So I was so I don't have this. Okay. It doesn't mean >> I'm shoot. >> Is there audio on the on the on the footage? >> No, there's not. >> That never came out of my mouth. >> Right now you're you're under arrest for misdemeanor threats. >> How was that a threat though? Well, he said you did. Close the door. >> Close this door. >> What? >> Hey, >> he's the one who has his uh me on my back. I couldn't evening breathe. >> Okay. Can you just calm down? >> No. Like, I'm so apparent. >> Okay. Well, there's nothing that you can do. >> Are you her mom? >> I'm her cousin. >> Because Okay. Apparently, she was in there making threats to security, throwing items around the store. >> So, she's under arrest right now for uh misdemeanor threats and disorderly conduct >> because they'reing pricey. >> Where's um where's Gary? over there. >> So there there is like a particular people that come in here and they do this to her every day. So it probably was like a ticky thing like no, you shouldn't have acted the way that you acted. But it's annoying when someone just harassed for no reason. >> Yeah, I don't know. >> Okay, you don't do that. >> It's not going to help your situation. >> Annoying. >> I don't know the whole the story that happened over there. >> I guess he came in. She came in the store and he said, "You better purchase everything that you do." But there's like another older lady that did it. And I had to go back in and show my receipt with my [ __ ] list. Like they do it all the time. Their co-workers know they do it. They harass people. But it's like >> frustrating. Yeah. She should have handled the situation way differently. There's no reason for you to act like that. But >> it's it's irritating. >> After everything, police decided not to arrest either of them. Both were permanently banned from the store, but what stands out is their attitude throughout the incident. >> Okay, but now you just proved everything for no reason. So you weren't doing anything wrong. They know you weren't doing anything wrong, but now you're going to jail for the whole opposite reason of why. What? What? There was no reason for him. And you're going to get something on your record for no reason. >> The 22-year-old boyfriend was charged with a misdemeanor for harassment. But instead of being transported to jail, he was simply handed a court date, a formal trespass notice, and released [music] right at the scene. >> It's a criminal offense. You don't show up for this court hearing. A warrant's going to get issued for your arrest. And the next time I talk to you, I'm not going to have a choice, but we're just going to go straight. You have any questions, ma'am? >> No. >> I don't think she does. >> Should I get my phone? >> Okay. Well, let's go. >> Hey, you answer that? >> You're acting silly. Let's go. >> Like, I can sleep or what? That >> mean be quiet and let's go. >> Okay. You're asking a question. Do you >> The man was charged with misdemeanor harassment while the woman was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Even when you believe you are being treated unfairly, escalating the situation can create serious consequences. Staying calm and cooperating may keep a confrontation from turning into criminal charges. Next, these shoplifterss appear to have something more than just a simple theft in mind. >> You have a receipt. Let me see. >> I have it right here. >> Wait, I ain't getting that with you. >> Did I get your hands off of me? >> You're a known shoplifter. >> Oh. >> On the 17th of December 2021, police received a report from Target about a serious theft involving three suspected shoplifters. While officers waited outside for them, a store employee approached and revealed what was happening inside with the suspects. >> Hi. So, >> okay. So, we're just going to hang here. We do have three shoplifterss inside. Two black females, one black male. Um, she thinks they're getting ready to head up to the front. They're loading everything that they've selected into one cart. Probably getting ready to head up to the front. Um, she's just going to let me know when they pass all points of sale and when they're headed out, and she'll let me know which side they're going to. Right, Gabby? You'll let me know which side they're going through. >> Okay. Okay. All right. She thinks one of them might be coming out before the rest of them. So, she'll let me know about that. But they're still loading up right now. >> I'm pretty sure she did. She came in, grabbed a cart, and headed straight down. >> So, if all else fails, we can just identify them. Go from there. Y'all said that they did this yesterday as well. >> Yeah. And one of the women in here actually just left not too long ago. Um, but is it just you >> at the moment? >> At the moment it's just >> two more units coming. >> Two more units coming. Just one right now. >> Yeah. Yeah. I let him know there's three of them. >> So, >> she said they're coming up the back wall now. So, they're probably going to pop out soon, but she'll she'll let me know >> over there. Should we move should we move over to the entrance or should we just stay here at the exit? She said um the first girl might come out by herself. Um so if she does to just let her kind of keep moving and try to pull her off to the side. Um she's mostly concerned with the other with the other people. >> While they were talking, the male [clears throat] suspect pushed a cart filled with merchandise out of the store. His actions immediately seemed to indirectly confirm what the officers had been told. >> I got a receipt. You have a receipt? Let me see. >> Yeah, I have it right here. >> Traffic 41 got one running. Brown shoes, gray pants, blue t-shirt towards corn. [applause] >> Just ran across Abacorn over by the northeast. He risked everything to run across the road in an attempt to escape. Worse, he found his vehicle and drove off, seemingly ignoring anything that stood in his way. >> All right, where I'm at parking lot. >> Charlie, Quebec Romeo 7472 >> coming out near Bank of America. >> All right, it's going to be a uh Volvo sedan twodoor driven by a black male. While officers pursued the man, another officer spotted the other people involved. The arrests were immediately underway. >> Hey, >> you got ID on you? >> First name is Trayvon. >> Let's walk back up here. >> What? >> What? I ain't dead now with you. >> You got to get your hands off for me. >> You're a known shoplifter. >> Oh, give me your hand. >> I can walk with you. Don't give me >> Give me your hand. Don't drop. >> Don't drop my phone. >> Stop. >> Going to be a 2004 80 green in color. >> It's going to be very light. It's not going to be a dark green. It's going to be a very light green. Almost silver looking. And it does have some damage looks like on the >> I can't remember which side. It was either by the by the headlight. I believe it was on the passenger side, but I'm not sure. It could have been on the driver's side. >> 42 suspect hit target yesterday with the hand out. >> Traffic 41. I got one female detained. >> Looking back at the moment officers saw the man pushing the cart outside, it appeared the group may have planned to put the merchandise in his hands. That could explain why the woman who had nothing on her began to deny any involvement. Have a seat on the bench over there. >> Hey, why you got >> what? >> The property. The cart full of stuff. >> It's I have to guess it's but I'm watching. >> Do you have ID? >> He got away in the vehicle. Yeah, he ran across the corner, came back, jumped in the car. >> What's your last name? >> My cell phone 110. >> Take him to jail. Can you take him to jail? >> Okay. So, you you'll just sit in jail until you are identified. >> Okay. >> So, you'll be booked under Jane Doe. >> Okay. >> You still want to see it done? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> Traffic 41 to 41 alpha 2. >> Yeah. Spell that. >> You can't spell Simmons. >> How do you spell it? >> Simmons. How I spell it every week. >> Is it 1 M? Two M's. >> Two M. >> 20 M's. >> 20 M. Police then spent considerable time trying to obtain information from the woman and run her name through the system. They quickly discovered why she had been reluctant to provide it. >> Oh, look. Shoplifting. That was why she didn't want to give me information. >> I got her social and all that stuff here, too, if you need it. >> Oh, and by the way, you do have a state issue driver's license. Or at least you did at one point. >> You weren't social work. I'm out of ambigu. >> It should be attached to the warrant. >> Oh, it should be. I got it here. >> 800 74. >> 874. >> Yes. I'll call you when I get there. >> In the end, the suspects face charges related to shoplifting, with one female suspect also facing obstruction by hindering, while the male suspect fled the scene before officers could detain him. [music] Being part of a group does not automatically make someone guilty, but deliberate participation can still create criminal responsibility. And when the evidence is already building, running away can turn a difficult situation into an even bigger problem. Next, this woman even played hide-and-seek with police and a round of wrestling with the officers. >> That's why I went, please, >> just let me put the stuff back. >> Why are you doing this? >> Let me go. Let me go. On the 15th of September 2024, police began searching for a woman who had fled Walmart after being caught shoplifting. The game of hideand-seek was on, but officers quickly found her hiding in an unexpected place. >> Send it to my island, please. >> Just let me put the stuff back. >> Why are you doing this? >> My friend was making me do it. Running. >> Okay. Well, stop running. Okay. >> What all did you take? >> Just close. He wanted to close. Just closed >> here. Grab Gra. >> Just give it to him and go. >> All right. Here. I'm going to be at Walmart with 32. >> Are you late for this? >> Do you have an ID on you? >> No, I don't. >> What's your name? >> On the way to [snorts] the loss prevention office. Officers used the time to ask the woman for information, but she continued to avoid their questions. Things escalated when she later became increasingly out of control. You're uh what what all did you take? >> We're going to be going through your your uh purse right now. Okay. >> 455 >> arrest from an >> I already know. Look my Look my picture up. >> I have my ID. >> I have my ID. >> I don't know you. >> You got it. >> Even after being handcuffed, the woman finally admitted that she had an ID. She continued begging for mercy, even bringing up her family in an attempt to gain sympathy. You guys cannot do this. Please let me go. I have to go to my baby. Let me go to my baby. Please. Please. >> Please. I have to go to my baby. Please. Please. I'm begging you. >> Please. I'm fighting for my baby. >> Can I get another way? >> I called me. >> Please >> stop resisting. You're under arrest. >> Please. Please let me go. >> Please. How fast is you? Please. >> Please. >> Just stop pulling away. I'm going to put these handcuffs on you and then we'll talk about it. >> I'm trying to figure this. Please. I'm begging you. I'm going to stop. Please. >> About everything, >> sir. >> Stay on the ground. >> Can I sit up? I can't breathe. >> She showed no remorse and appeared to know exactly what she was doing, leaving the officers with little reason to trust her claims. You >> detain me for no reason. My ID's in there. >> I'll get all her info. Yeah, you're under arrest for retail theft. The very least and resisting. >> What do you mean? No. >> You arrest me for no reason. >> Oh, retail theft. >> Okay. >> And resisting. >> Can I stand up? >> I don't know. You got to cooperate. Okay. >> I'm sorry. >> You caused this. >> I have an 8-month-old >> and you come in here to steal with an 8month-old. >> Yeah. >> Maybe it is. >> Oh, 324. She's at Walmart, too. Neither of your promise. I promise you though. >> Hey Muel, I'm going to take out if they need me for a search. Otherwise, I'll go to33. You can listen to me. Thank you. Can I go to my car? Please, can I go to my car? >> Now, at this point, I mean, we already explained this to you. >> We're going to be going over here tonight. >> Please let me go to my car. >> Please, please let me go to my car. I got to go to my car. Are you listening to what I'm saying? At this point, officers tried to get more information about the family member she had mentioned to ensure the child's safety. But she continued using the situation to beg for sympathy without showing any shame. >> The only reason I'm freaking out is because I have my baby somewhere. >> Where? >> I need to know where. >> If you don't tell me, this is on you. >> So, where's your baby at? >> Nicholson. >> Where? >> I don't know the address. It's on Nicholson. She's on Nicholson. >> Please, can you take me to her? >> Hold on. You need to get >> What car in the red Kia? >> No. >> What car are you in? >> It's a a white Ford. >> It's a red Kia. >> My sister right here. >> All right. You got to go in the car. Where's your baby at? >> Said I don't know the address. >> You got to know where your baby's at. >> I don't know the address. >> But the kid's not here though, right? >> No. No. >> Who's he with? >> In the end, the woman was charged with retail theft and resisting. Running away and physically fighting with officers will not erase the original offense. Instead, resisting can add another charge and make the situation more serious. Next, the woman tried to gain the officer's sympathy, but her attempt failed. [screaming] >> [laughter] >> On the 13th of April 2024, officers were dispatched to a Walmart after receiving a report of a woman suspected of shoplifting. She was taken to the loss prevention office where she was asked to take everything out of her pouch, one item at a time. >> Please, what I will do is ask her to take everything out of her pouch. cuz I got it from Walgreens. Those are mine. >> Okay. >> These are mine. Those ones are all theirs. >> You put the paper down. So, what I always You don't necessarily have to do a pat down because everything um ma'am, do you mind what I would do? Just lift your shirt up and spin around. Yep. Are you good with that? I'm good with it, too. You You can If you want, put your things back in here and just set that on the floor. >> Meanwhile, the loss prevention employee reviewed the surveillance footage to determine exactly what she had done earlier. So she also was burning. >> She actually tried to walk out with it. >> She did. Um I stopped turning right on side on the sidewalk. >> Okay. >> I'll show you that clip next. >> What's the total value of one of the items? >> Um 32.84. >> Okay. Dang it. and then I I know I know the answer. What you want to do? >> Uh prosecute. Trespass. I already did the trespass. So yeah, prosecute. >> Fair enough. So >> the guilt seemed difficult for the woman to deny and even having her Miranda rights read to her became another source of pressure causing her to break down in tears and regret her actions. >> You still have the right to stop answering at any time and speak with with a lawyer. Do you understand each of these rights I have explained to you? Having these rights in mind, do you wish to talk with me now? I guess I don't know. >> But do you understand each of these right that I explained to you >> for the most part? >> Would you like for me to read them again so you could fully understand? >> No, I'm still not going to fully understand. I don't comprehend it. >> Okay. You still want to talk to me? All right. So, explain to me uh what what was the whole process of of you inside the Walmart? [clears throat] already opened in the aisle. >> Already opened in the aisle. All I did was take one or two. I was going to triumph. I wanted to I was going outside to get my card. >> All right. >> I swear. >> Even if they were open, you know, you can't just put them in your pouch and leave. Correct. All right. And then on the on the cameras, we see you opening the packaging for the for the markers. >> No, those were already open. We have video. >> I promise. I promise. I swear you can zoom in. They those two were already open. >> All I did was take take the marker out. >> All right. So, all the >> all all those item all those items there when you you didn't intend to to pay for. You just walked out. >> Well, I was going to get my card. >> All right. So, >> I asked the lady up front to hold the real things that I had. So the person who was working, they held it for you? >> Yeah, it took forever. >> She still tried to downplay her responsibility, claiming that her actions were a misunderstanding, but that could not erase her wrongdoing as the officers had already made their decision. >> All right. So, so based on my investigation here, um, can you stand up? Do you mind standing up? >> No. Please, why? Please don't take me. I promise I gave them to her. You left. >> I wasn't leaving. I didn't even make it out the door yet. >> Jessica, stand up. >> I can't walk out. Please >> stand up. [laughter] >> Please. I won't get out. [screaming] Please >> turn around. Face the wall. [laughter] >> Please. I won't get out. [screaming] [laughter] >> I'M SORRY. >> [gasps] >> PLEASE, PLEASE, I don't have any response. Please, please, please. What am I? Why? I was being honest. >> She seemed to think that crying and begging would change something, but the officers before her were not going to give into her feudal attempts. >> I was Walmart don't they don't play. >> I know. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to. I'm not in the >> Walmart doesn't play around. They prosecute and when they want to press charges, >> we have to serve them the way they want. >> Please don't put me in jail. >> It's a $500 fine. [laughter] >> I don't have $500. I don't even have but 40 bucks. Please. >> I promise I'll pay the 40 and leave the marker. I have my kid here. My son is here. >> I'm raised here. Born and raised. I've lived here on harassment. Joanna's on a reckless like US1 something like that. Like way down almost. I have my kid here. I will come to court. I've did my time here already. >> You got them already. You got anything? already. >> In the end, the woman was charged with petite theft and transported to the Indian River County Jail. Under Florida statute, section 812.014. If convicted of first-degree petite theft, she could face up to 1 year in jail and $1,000 in fines. Even a small theft can still lead to criminal charges and real consequences. Taking something that does not belong to you is never worth the risk. >> Drop whatever you have. >> On the 12th of January 2023, Ohio police received a report from a shopping store about a man armed with a knife who was destroying property and even threatening customers. Clearly, this was a dangerous situation, so the officers quickly geared up and rushed to the store. OKAY, GET ON THE GROUND. [screaming] GET ON THE GROUND NOW. GET ON THE GROUND. >> Get on the ground. >> Drop whatever you have. >> 188. Got him a gun point. He's got a knife in his hand. >> Get on the ground. >> Are you happy? Are you happy? Get on the ground now. >> Are you happy that you told me and YOU GOT IT? IT WAS DIFFICULT. It took you three days, but you did it. Drop the knife. >> Shoot me. >> No, please drop it. >> Drop the knife now. >> Hey, >> drop it. >> My cousin's coming. >> We do not want to you let him in. >> I'll drop the knife. I ain't dropping this knife until you do that. You hear me? Because this was a public place, the officers had to be careful with every move they made. It might have looked like they were simply following behind him, but in reality, the officers had positioned themselves around him, preparing to approach him, using a carefully planned tactic. >> 188 [ __ ] we need to make an announcement in the store. somehow get a hold of him and tell them >> Josh get away. Josh, back up again, mother. >> Drop the knife now. Drop it. >> Drop it. >> Drop the knife. Drop it. >> Drop it. We will get you some water. [screaming] >> [ __ ] scared. [screaming] God. You got me. They can open the air. >> I gently sound of mind and body do reject medical care. Okay, you got me, dude. You got me. You got me. That's just my dude. What the? >> The man showed no sign of remorse. He immediately started cursing at the officers as if he were already used to being tased. >> Grab that other probe, Jason, and drop it in. I Jeremy refused medical care. >> Pop it out. >> Still got a >> It's illegal to pop it the out. Pop it the probe in his >> Okay. >> In his chest. >> Where's the the weapon at? You might not believe it, but he caused all of this simply because he was angry that the selfch checkckout machine rejected his $10 bill. Somehow he then started portraying himself as the victim. >> I'm your legal defender. >> 31. I believe I'm being charged with a crime. Yeah. >> Well, I'm being charged. I want the body. Honest to God, I want the body paint. I want the lightweight bodyb body paint. >> I know you guys know me, but seriously, I want the body paint. >> Nope. >> You going in the car? >> Don't touch my head. I'm serious. He appeared to have calmed down, so the officer began gathering information from him. >> And yeah, I need I don't know. >> And she's your cousin? >> Yeah, she's coming to help me out. I need to talk to her. >> Do you have my uh background? >> Yes. Wait a second. On the 24th of April 2025, police were dispatched to the scene to arrest 47year-old Daario Zarita, a revenue supervisor at Palm Tran, after he was linked to the theft of thousands of dollars in cash from secured vaults and ticket vending machines. In addition, his co-workers had provided several statements about the incident. >> Do you can you see him take the money? >> No, he's standing in the middle of the vault so that he's obscuring the camera view, but this has happened a few times. This this is an ongoing situation. >> Okay. >> He did see the police, so I'm sure he's aware of what's going on. Now, >> while speaking with the employee, the male suspect appeared in a white truck. But as far as >> I I've already speak with my attorney about >> he avoided giving a direct answer and chose to remain silent until he could speak with an attorney. Meanwhile, when officers spoke with the female employee, she provided an explanation about the money he had been carrying. >> So he didn't have an excuse for why the money was back there. >> Nope. He was like, I don't know. I was dropping off this person here and what TBM. >> Yeah. Ticket vending machines. >> Yeah. And he was like, we were doing money, but he had no He was like that. He made a call to an attorney, but it appeared to be someone he was only beginning to hire. >> I'm booked at the police department in LA Beach, man. Something happened on a job where I'm being booked um for theft and um not sure. I just [music] got booked. They're looking um I was pretty much doing change and I'm here with the police officer. She also brought new details and perspectives from her employees that could shed more light on the case. >> Tell me a little bit about what happened, why you're here. Dario, does he have a specific office that he works out of or a specific location or is it kind of all over the place? >> He is mainly stationed at the Palm Trend Connection Office, but the nature of [clears throat] the job is that you're moving through all the locations where there's cash there as well. >> Gotcha. >> From the employees initial suspicions to an explanation of his position, the director then provided a detailed account of the suspect's actions. as are our fiscals. So they they count the cash for all of those facilities. But once that function is done, >> they go back to the Palm Trand connection. Mr. Zarita seems to be doing is he comes in in the middle of the count where all the counting any cash handled should be done with two personnel. There should not be at any point in time where one individual is carrying cash. >> Now these will check the video and something funny is going on. >> Yeah. He's coming in with the bag >> and telling staff because he knows that he shouldn't be bringing the bag in there. Not just in the vault room, but he's putting the bag actually in the safe and he's saying these is the bag where we keep our TVM ticket vending machine keys to service them and he doesn't, you know, want to let it out of his side or whatever it is. That's his justification for bringing it with him into the vault room and putting it in the safe where it's safe. >> Okay. Staff observed and told me that they are seeing him put it in the safe. Open unzipped. >> The bag open. >> The bag. Open. Unzipped. >> And when you say bag, are you talking >> grocery bag or like a reusable >> small lunch bag? >> Okay. >> A palm train bag. >> Okay. >> When he comes in and he puts that bag in there, he closes the vault. >> Okay. >> So staffs, why are you closing the vault? You know, we're counting. We're going to be moving cash in and out. So, he puts the bag in there, closes the vault, and proceeds to help staff count cash. As staff is counting and bundling the cash, they'll put it to the side on the table. >> Okay. >> He will clear out some of the cash and put in the vault. >> Is there a certain number denomination that they bundle it into? >> I believe it's a,000 per. >> Okay. So, it's safe to assume that each bundle is a,000 singles. Okay. So, Bryce doesn't have individual keys to the safes. >> I don't believe so. Okay. >> Meanwhile, detectives counted the recovered cash and confirmed the amount collected at the scene. >> 600 600 700 >> 3600. >> So 1,800 plus another two. That's 2500. >> $2,500. >> Hello. >> Uh you said that she's waiting in the lobby. >> Yeah, she'll wait here to get it. >> Yeah, we're we're finishing up right now. We we just count as $2,500. >> Okay. Miss Johnson. >> Yes. Hi. >> You're Miss Johnson? Yes, I am. Um, I am just going to have you sign this. This is just showing that we have the it's 25,000 or 2500. I'm sorry. >> It was really weird. >> Okay. >> The denominations were very weird when we counted it. It was in bands of 600 and then there was one of 700. So, I don't know if that's normal for your counting. >> Check. Yeah. >> Yeah. You have a bag you want us to put it in or >> um >> think you're going to go right there right away. >> Wait. Um, because Yeah, I'm going straight to the office. >> I don't think we'll get lunch. >> No, I got you. >> I I apologize. No, don't apologize. >> This incident with everything else is like >> when I interviewed him, he said that the TVA or the little machine thing had >> I it could be it could have been a number that he randomly just told me, but he said it was $4,962. >> Okay. >> And then I had asked, "Well, how much do you think you took?" And he's like, "I don't know. Each band is typically in >> So he's saying this is from the TVM." >> He No, he said that that's from the vault. He said that they were in he brought the TVM into the vault to count it and then as he was putting it away, he took money out to bring it to West Palm >> because they needed change. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> But then when I asked him how much he thought it was, he's like each band should be about a,000. >> In the end, Daario Zarita was charged with grand theft. When someone in charge of handling company cash abuses that access, repeated suspicious behavior can eventually expose the pattern. His position gave him access to the money, but it also left behind records and evidence that investigators could follow. >> Have you ever had one? >> Have you ever had one? Can you ask if you ever had one? >> They were asking for that. >> You ever had one? >> Got to put them behind your back. >> On the 12th of July 2025, officers received a report from Target regarding a theft that had occurred at the store. The suspect was reportedly a woman who had taken merchandise worth $20.3. At that point, she was being detained in the loss prevention office while the investigation was underway. >> My body warn camera's on everyone. Hello. >> So, unfortunately, due to the dollar amount, we did have to contact the police department. So, >> how much was it? >> Um, the total is $22.30. Um this is a mix of like stationary items, electronics, some apparel and some like market like some food items. So you admitting um everything you tried to take which was $22 your signature on the first line and they say I'm going to be arrested. All right. What happened between the beginning and ending? So, uh, basically while I was walking through, I passed by and I observed um her concealing submersion that she seal like this thing and I started putting this inside a little bag. So, I read that here. I review footage. I saw her selecting it. Um, so I conceal it. And then she went over to Starbucks where she opened up a couple electronics items and symbols as well. Yeah. So then when she went to exit um I find security over here identified and brought her back here and then um saw the rest of the items. >> I'll go off to that guy. >> You good? >> With the accusations coming from the store, the woman could do little to defend herself. She simply sat there unable to refute the evidence and began shedding belated tears of regret. Hey, so I got the custo [laughter] time, but as far as for search, which I asked for, I got to wait till 7. [laughter] >> I'm going to get arrested. I'm going to go to jail. I'm so sorry. I don't want to go to jail. Tuesday got paid. Sorry. >> Hi, this is Park 280. The radio signal is pretty bad at Target. I can't talk to you in here. So, the the warrant out of Texas is uh descriptive [clears throat] one more time. I don't I don't I caught part of it, but I don't think it just to verify. And do you have a driver's license or ID? >> She said no. >> Have you ever had one? >> Have you ever had one? Can you ask her if she ever had one? They were asking for that. >> Also, uh, can you send FD? She's like, um, hyperventilating and stuff. [laughter] Make sure she's all right. >> Yeah, we're in the security office at Target. All right. Thank you. >> I'm so I'm so happy. >> Her crying caused the investigation to be delayed as her emotional state became increasingly unstable. Officers tried to calm her down and medical [music] personnel were eventually called to the scene. >> Try drinking some water, Ann. >> [laughter] >> I'm so sorry. I'm I'm so sorry. >> We have a young lady we have in custody for retail theft and she's uh hyper hyperventilating and stagnant. We just want to make sure she's all right. >> What's going on? >> How's it going? Okay. Slowly breathing down. Slow breathing down. Okay. >> I know you're sorry, but just calm down. Okay. We need you to stay calm >> right now. Does it hurt to breathe? >> No. Do you have asthma? >> No. >> No. Okay. >> I have shortness of breath. >> Whether deploying so many personnel and resources just to deal with this woman was the right thing to do remained a question. While the police also determined that the situation had only stemmed from a minor theft. >> Uh uh huh. I I'm standing next to Park. I said I heard the we got it. So I I figured I had to call you and let you know next time you you inquire and check with the paper call first. We got it. My bad. >> No man, it's a little simple retail theft. They they should have had this ho since like 5:30 and here we 7:30. 2 hours on a small retail theft. They ain't had nobody this whole time. That's wild. Then we waiting on the female search. I know Bland was here cuz I saw her get off on time. So I mean like no, you could have just came and knocked that little part of this out. You know what I'm saying? This could have been moved along. Exactly. Like even if you I mean 71 is a 7:00 car. Even if this was in like a six area, you know what I'm saying? Send a 7:00 car. So 5:30, you ain't had nobody that was a 6:00 or a 7:00 car come over here. And then she hyperventilating, doing a whole bunch of other stuff. So it's like here we we on the clock. You know what I'm saying? Could possibly be a medical issue now. 2 hours >> 6:00 I understand, but 7:00 she >> No. Yeah. Like 20. Uh I think Park said possibly out of Texas. She said she ain't never been there before. She uh seemed a little delayed, so I don't know. All right. Thanks for checking with the paper cut next time. All right. >> Yeah. Right. >> We got it. Smith already knew that was coming. >> Huh? >> I said Smith should already known that was coming. Miss me. >> At this point, when the woman had become calmer, the officers also informed her of their decision and proceeded [music] with the next steps. Never been to Texas before. >> Fair enough. Maybe just some remaining what happened to us to to >> the precinct. Are you taking her to the precinct? >> Yeah. We're going to go down to the uh department real quick, >> do some paperwork, fingerprint, and then uh you'll be out of there. >> Okay. They're just going to do some paperwork. You're not going to be held overnight. Just uh you're going to have to sit while they do some paperwork for a little bit and then you'll be you'll be released from there. Okay. >> You'll just be given a court date. Okay. Go ahead and stand out. stand for me. Please handles a just around. I got to put them behind your back. All right. You can walk with me, please. We'll head out. We'll get all your stuff. I'm so sorry. I'll never again go ahead and have a seat. pretty sure. Okay. All right. I'll get right over there. In the end, she was ultimately charged with retail theft and obstructing identification. A minor theft can quickly become more serious when a suspect's actions complicate the investigation. Staying calm and cooperating with officers is far better than creating additional problems. >> Get on the ground. Get on the ground. Get on the ground. Get your ass on the ground. Turn around. >> Turn around. >> Anybody else in there? >> On the 16th of August 2025, police received a report of an armed robbery at a T-Mobile store. The suspects were believed to have fled afterward. Here's what happened as captured by the store's surveillance cameras. >> Get on the ground. Get on the ground. Get on the ground. Get your ass on the ground. >> Hey, bro. I don't give a about these phones. Are they on you? I mean, if they on me, then just just chill. Just relax. >> That's all you got to do. I ain't coming to hurt you. >> Not coming to hurt you. >> How many people you got out there? >> It's me and my coworker. >> I said, "What's this code?" >> This paper right here. >> Yeah. Stay your down. Now, what else? What? Where the money at? >> Huh? Do you Do you want me to get up? >> Where is it at? It's in the the drawer out front. >> How much How much would normally be in there? >> 150. >> 150 right there. Man, >> where the keys at? >> The keys are You see that big like uh poster behind that desk on the left? >> Uh-huh. >> It's behind there on the right corner, you find the keys. >> Come on, don't try nothing. I'mma fire your up. >> I'm not dying on you. >> As soon as they arrived at the scene, the situation was already tense. Officers had to proceed carefully, step by step, to make sure no suspects were still inside. >> Just hold there, Brian. >> Coming out, Brian. >> Clearing here. One coming out. >> You guys are better. >> You're in first. >> Bathroom. >> Clear. >> Actually, a kind of a dummy phone that they can track remotely. So apparently the guy took a dummy phone that can be tracked. >> So >> after making sure no suspects were still inside and that the employee was safe, officers spoke with him to learn more about what had happened. >> I get here early every day and I just opened up the store. Um I went to the back. We had a customer call in saying that they were coming in to get a iPhone. So I'm putting all our packages away, checking our uh safe to see if we have the iPhone and things like that. So, I t start the time delay and when I start, every time I start the time delay, I uh tell my wife to start a 10-minute timer. Then, a customer came in. So, I started working with the customer, she was talking about um her internet's not working, her friend's internet's not working, but she wants to get a new phone. So, I'm trying to just walk her through that. My my timer goes off. So, I go back to the safe because if we don't open it in 5 minutes, then we got to wait another 10 minutes to open it. So, I just go push the buttons and once I step in, he sent me to get on the ground. Where was he at? right behind the door. Most likely has happened is when we leave >> Uhhuh. >> my coworker went to Giant Eagle. We put a board in the back door. We just go over there. >> Oh. >> So that's why I didn't never see nobody. That lady come in by herself. I didn't see nobody else. Okay. >> So how our store is set up, if you go through the back door, it's a lot of back ways and things like that. And then if you come out to the door that goes to the sales floor, the first thing you're going to see to your right is the office. So like I'm straight ahead talking to a customer. He could have just like anybody else inside the store. I don't know if my my coworker came back or anything like that, but he is >> he doesn't know if somebody else should be inside the store. He doesn't know. >> Clearly, based on the employees statement, the suspects appeared to have planned the robbery in advance. The employee also identified exactly which items had been stolen. >> Well, you know, I don't know if he took the 14 m in our business. >> Oh, like on the phone. >> Yeah. So he took everything. He took it technically. Did he What did he take? You know, >> we don't know yet. >> He had two like or he dumped our our trash can and took everything like >> phones and all that or cash phones. He he took everything out the teal and so we only have 150 bucks in our teal and then he took like all the phones out the safe and then we just I just opened my time today. >> Were you inside for any of those? >> No, I was just at the >> like on break. >> Yeah. >> Oh, okay. got your idea. >> So yeah, what he wanted me to tell you is that one of those phones that you may have is not one of the phones that we actually sell. >> It's just a tracking device. >> How could they track it? >> Okay. So you said anything about >> Afterward, the employee walked officers through the entire incident once again, recounting everything that had happened. >> When you go over here, is she still here? >> Yes, she is. >> So when all of this is going out, she's just here the entire time. >> Well, that's what I'm thinking because when he has me come out and take this out, she's long gone. >> She was gone. >> Mhm. >> Do you think she heard what was happening? >> In front of TV. >> Oh, cuz he wasn't allowed. He said, "Get on the floor. get on the floor and I'm just like >> like kind of lost and then I get on the floor and other than that he's just like don't move. I'mma do this. He's like he was calm. He wasn't >> yelling. He wasn't screaming. He didn't put his hands on me or nothing like that. >> When you came in here where at exactly was he behind the door? >> Cuz I walked in. I was confused cuz why is this open when I'm just putting the code to be able to open it? So when we put in the code, the timer starts. When the timer is done, I put the code in again so it can open. He dumped the trash out and put the the stuff inside the trash can. >> Yes. >> Okay. >> And he he had something else to put it in and he had me carry it to the back door. >> What was it? >> It was like a box or something like that. But I know >> cardboard box, plastic box. >> I think I think it was one of these. >> Okay. >> So, he has you do all this here and then he walks you out. >> So, he put everything in it. He brought everything to like the end of this table here. And then like when he was actually leaving out, he had me carry everything to the back door where he left all >> you ground. Then he had me on the ground right here. >> As he was getting everything here, then as he was getting everything out of here, after I told him the cold, he just like stood over me. >> Okay. You remember what shoes you wear? >> Okay. >> I barely remember his shorts or >> Okay. In shorts. >> Yes. But I my check my uh district manager sent us a picture like just like from the >> Yeah. >> the cameras. >> Does it match the photo? Did you see the photo? >> Okay. >> Police then received a report from a nearby store that a suspect matching the description was hiding inside. Officers immediately moved in and took them into custody. >> HANDS UP. >> PUT YOUR HANDS UP RIGHT NOW. TURN AROUND. TURN AROUND. >> ANYBODY ELSE IN THERE? >> All right. Got cover. >> Don't move. >> Somebody else came radio. >> All right. Yeah, we're not playing that. >> Where's the gun at? Stop. Get on move. I got cash. >> Yeah. Right out to this car. I'm going ask you one more time. If you have a gun on you, you better tell me where it's at. >> Got no gun. I didn't even do nothing. I don't know what y'all got going on. >> Yeah. Well, hiding inside of a store like that and that don't make no sense, right? >> I mean, it's a barber gun. >> Yeah. No, not so much. This will go with us. We'll get it back. We're done. That's understandable. slide your feet in. What happened to the gun? >> As for the female suspect, she claimed she had not taken part in the robbery and had only driven the man. But officers were clearly not convinced by that excuse. >> Yeah. I mean, it's we can't cut brakes on this. >> You're not making easy, >> man. You're not making easy on yourself. >> How? >> By giving someone your car that rob someone at gunpoint. Someone got robbed at gunpoint. >> At gunpoint. >> Someone got robbed at gunpoint. I'm I'm gonna be completely honest with you. Someone got robbed at gunpoint and that's why we're here. We're not like it wasn't as simple as it wasn't like someone stole a cell phone. Someone got robbed at gunpoint. Someone's affected by this. They're not telling. There's no choice. We we have we absolutely have to tell them. There's it's not a disc. It's we have to anything else after >> because it was used in armed robbery. There is. >> And there's probably and there's most likely evidence of that armed robbery inside your vehicle. >> Yeah, we're just waiting for her to ride for a kid to get here. >> I'm going to be completely honest with you. I don't I don't have the answer for you. I'm not going to lie to you. I'm not going to trick you. >> You could be there for half hour or you could be there for 2 hours and go to our jail. I don't You're being detained for the question of what happened. So, >> okay. There's a family. Everything else after depends on you to be honest. >> I'm not senior lie to you or try to one way or another. >> I'm just asking me and my son who can go get him. >> I got I got kids who I can understand what the process you have to go through. That's why I'm trying to be completely open. >> Yeah, it has it has evidence in so >> I I was with you. I didn't I didn't take it. I don't know. >> Anthony was charged with aggravated robbery. Erica was charged with complicity to aggravated robbery and endangering children. Trying to distance yourself from a crime means little when your own story keeps changing. Once the evidence starts contradicting those explanations, every lie can make involvement harder to deny. What do you think about cases like this?
