Hey, ma'am. Excuse me. You can't. >> Put the hand behind your back now. [screaming] >> I'm pregnant. My mother was carriage and I can't shoot this [ __ ] up. >> OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD. I'M in pain. Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. >> Get down. [music] >> I'm fine. Oh man. All right, that that taser felt good. >> Shoplifterss always posed as respectable customers, yet their actions betrayed them. Shady dealings went on quietly, but once police stepped in, everything came to an end. These are the moments from when cops had enough of these Walmart shoppers. Every moment was recorded, turning each case into a tense, gripping to story. We are This is Law. Don't forget to like and subscribe. Starting with these naive criminals. You talking? >> I'm sorry. How you doing? Hold up. What am I doing? >> Hold up. Hold up. Do you have your ID with you? >> I need it on my phone and stuff. >> You don't need it right now. >> Why am I being >> Because you're under arrest. >> From where? >> On October 29th, 2024, police received a report from Walmart about the presence of two suspects involved in organized retail theft to conduct fraudulent purchases. Upon arriving at the scene, the suspects attempted to leave, but were quickly intercepted. >> You talking? >> How you doing? Hold up. >> I do. >> Hold up. Hold up. Do you have your ID, will you? >> No, I don't. >> Okay, hold on. Here. What did I do wrong? >> Put your stuff up on this. Put your stuff up on this hood. >> What did I do wrong? >> Put your stuff up on the hood. She's got him on FaceTime. He's in a car. >> Put your stuff up on the hood. >> Hey, go over there. I think he's over there. >> That guy right there. Yep. That's him. He's good. >> That's him right there. >> Right there in the blue sweatshirt. >> Look up some. Hold on. Hold on. Open your door. Go. Go ahead. Go. He runs. Stay in your car and I'll stay behind him. Demetrius back. What's going on? Talk to me. >> I got the phone. >> According to reports, the suspects used a fake debit card to purchase $1,400 sovereign $77 worth of baby items. Yet, even after being arrested, they still pretended to be clueless about what had happened. >> Where do I have a war? >> I don't know. I just told you. I don't know where it is. >> Anything in your coat? You have any firearms on you? >> No. >> Okay. Come and have a seat in the back of the car. >> Okay. Car for a little bit. >> I need my phone and stuff. >> You don't need it right now. >> Why am I being >> Cuz you're under arrest. You have a warrant. >> A warning from where? >> I don't know. I'll explain everything to you. Give us a minute. explain everything now. >> No, cuz I don't know what the warrant is for. That's why I'll I'll explain everything to you. >> Excuse me. >> Sorry. Excuse me. Am I good to back out or? >> Yeah, you're good. >> Okay. I just want to like get in your way. >> That's Don't hit my car. You'll be good. >> All right. I'm good. >> Awesome. At this time, another officer arrived at the store to confirm everything with the employees. Let's see how they clarified what had happened. >> Guys, have a case today. Is there a theft today? >> Yes. >> Yeah. >> Okay. On both or just one? >> Uh, I have to I'd have to clear it for both. All I know is what happened. We We were going up to another register. That's when someone said that they already brought these up there. >> Okay. and that they had claimed that it was a cash card to cash it as cash >> that it would take it off of his debit card. >> And the debit card is what? >> It's nothing. >> There's no such thing as a card that does that. >> There's there's no such thing as >> we tried to say this was him and we thought we didn't have the right guy, but he >> he has a mask on. I've never seen him without his mask. >> Right. But this is not him. >> He's always wearing that. >> It's similar, but it's not him. It looks like him, but he's got a tattoo here. So, we ran him through Michigan. The original Demetrius Earl. It's him. Demetrius Sparrow. That is nice. >> And Ariana Cole. >> So, they both do have warrants. Um, so they're going for that. This is just a fake. Um, but we're >> regardless. >> The car over there has no plates on it at all. Comes back to her, though. We're in the vin. There's a Walmart bag in the back seat. We don't know what's in it. >> Uh, probably um like in infants electronics, like baby monitors, uh, electronic breast pump pumps. >> So, they got out the door with them. He did. >> Yes, he did. He b he purchased those at uh 504 at register 23. Told the cashier told the cashier that it's a cash card for 1608. Got $40 back in cash. Just no cash was given to him or to the cashier. >> This was just him doing this part though, right? >> That few seconds I saw at the register to get this time stamp was just him at the register. >> Okay. >> With that, the male suspect's wrongdoing was made clear. But what about the woman? It could be said she was one of the key pieces in the fraud scheme, >> but it's usually he pays for it, does the scam, she'll go to it'll go to another Walmart. She brings it in with the receipt and says, "I don't want this anymore. I want my refund." And we'll get that. >> So, I I'm I'm still not tracking cuz I'm still here. So, the debit card you use is fake. And how do you know that? I mean, >> he they never swipe it. They pretend to swipe it. >> Okay. >> They they can we don't charge you your card unless we hit credit. >> So, how did he get out the door with the stuff in a receipt? Because the ca he tells the cashier to cash him out as cash and then he gets a receipt. >> Yeah. Cashier fell for a scam. >> Yeah. It's a we call it a cash card scam. This card is is just as good as cash. >> Does he still have the card? >> As far as I know, we don't take it. >> Okay. >> They can they can >> And I'd have to look at video again to tell you which card he used. >> Say my phone over me this way. >> And when we were on the phone and she was walking up, she had more merchandise that I assume she was going to attempt. >> Yeah. It was almost the exact same stuff. Well, she walked out with nothing. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. When they came up to the door to the corner here, she ran out the door. The cat and the >> Did you see what the card looked like at all that he tried? >> I have to go back and look at it again. >> It's still up on the on the screen. >> Take a picture of it. >> So, with their fake credit card, they had both obtained merchandise and received cash refunds from other Walmart locations. And at that point, police were certain of all the crimes. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, two, >> I see your phone. >> Yeah, >> I need a >> good work. >> Your calculator. >> More ice cream. >> I got your ice cream. >> 10 logs out at all. It's 0052. >> One, two, three, four. Five. Six. Seven. >> 20. 40. 60. >> Press. Okay. tow your >> PayPal cards. That's what he got at Circle K. He was loading PayPal cards. >> Okay, let's stop. >> Have nothing to do with it. >> Let's stop and we'll just do I I like that option better. >> Just take it to the yard. >> Yeah. >> But there's more going on here. Ariana, >> what's going on? >> Like what? >> Like right now? I'm just curious. >> And it's not a credit card. >> Or does it say press cash? >> It is not a credit card. >> That's what I'm trying to tell y'all. >> What is it considered? >> It's a fake card. >> Well, we know that. Yeah. >> You've been using it forever. >> We know about all the gas station stuff. We We know you guys very well. Tiffen, Ftoria. >> All the police departments know about you guys. Yeah. >> They were arrested for theft. Complicity to theft and outstanding warrants from prior incidents and were taken to jail. Crime built on deception always collapse under investigation, proving that organized theft inevitably led to arrest and accountability. In the next case, the woman believes she could take items from multiple stores without paying. >> Sure. and restore all your traction and restore your secret. >> On November 30th, 2024, police responded to a report of a multi-store theft suspecting a woman with a history of similar behavior. Let's hear how the employee described what happened. >> She came originally to exchange something. She was looking at these shirts here in the front. I had already seen her like, "Hey, how are you?" And then she's like, "Oh, I'm just looking." I was like, "Okay." And I seen her looking for a shirt and I was like, "Oh, what do you need?" And she's like, "Oh, immediately." She's like, "But I can help myself." She's like, she's like, "I can do it by myself." And then I was like, "You're already making it so obvious for yourself." But I'm like, "Okay." So I was like, "Oh, okay." But no, I was like, "This is my job. Whatever." So I grabbed a stack from her and I'm like, "I'm going to check the size for you." And she's like, "Okay, well, I'm looking for a medium." And she walked away from me and I didn't have a medium. So I was like, "Oh, I have a large or small." Which she's like, and she was ignoring me the whole time like she was talking like I was like, "Hello." Like she's like, "I'm like a large. Do you want a large? You want a large?" And she just kept ignoring me. And she my other social sales associate that's here right now. She was like super nice and she's like, "Hi, how are you? How's your day? How's your" and I was like, "Oh." I was like, "Did I offend you? Do you feel okay?" And she's like completely ignoring me, whatever. So, I already knew what she was doing. So, she grabbed the shirt and then she had in her hand. I turned the corner to help another customer. I turned back around. The shirt is not in her hand and it's not in the pile. So, I know she walked away, but >> So, the employee already suspected that the woman wasn't there to shop. And by coincidence, during their conversation, they also spotted the suspect's presence. >> Oh, look, that's her right there. That's her right there. >> The suspect's uh walking. This is the southbound through the through the mall. Stand by for store location. Just one shirt. Sh shirt attraction. Latino yellow shirt blue jeans and blue paint. >> She called us. >> Yeah. >> Look. >> Let's go back here though. >> Okay. >> And wait, wait a minute. Um, just watch her. >> No. >> Are you with her? >> I just walked in the store. No, I just bought in a store. >> Believe it's called Attraction. What's the name of the store? >> Attraction. >> Attraction. >> The woman appeared calm, but in reality, she was breathing heavily from trying to evade the police. Failing to escape, she turned back to deny everything, even though the officers hadn't said anything yet. At this point, she continued moving around, clearly showing her fear. >> I want right here. >> I just walked right here. I just walked in here. >> Where are you going? >> I don't know. >> Yeah, I know you're not going anywhere. Stop moving around. You're not moving around. Stop. >> You understand me? >> Yes, I'm going >> for >> What are you doing? I'm not I'm not. >> Do you want to be put in hand? >> No. No. Okay. So, chill. >> Yes. >> I mean, there's no reason to take it to another level cuz we're going to get all this figured out, >> right? >> Is there anything in this bag? >> No. >> Okay. Give me those bags. >> That's my purse. >> Yeah, I know. That's why I'm telling you to give me those bags. >> Okay. >> Thank you. >> Appreciate it. Give me all this here. Give me all that. Put your hands on. Why are you NOT DOING NOTHING? THE suspect was promptly taken into custody for further investigation, and everything quickly became clear once the police located the items in the bag she was carrying. >> Jesus. 16 406 Northeast 15th Court being a black Honda or Honda Forte Kia Forte 24. >> Oh, I'll be talking about it. >> Wow. She was just about to report right there. >> She was just about to report. >> Did you see her? >> Yep. She's got a mask right there. >> Did you just come out and take a look at her? See if the person that we're with >> to me. I saw her bent over with her bag and she kind of scrambled and quickly was like, "Oh, they don't have a sides." And after >> you were suspecting after she left, she went back, checked the drawer, saw [music] sections missing, and then I went back. And we don't we don't ever leave our sections like that. When you walked in, we were just having a problem. >> And you all have uh video surveillance in here. >> Yes, we do. >> Yep, we do. >> 128 is still okay. >> Wow. I mean, it's still 97. >> The items just returned by the police were from Victoria's Secret and remained intact, while goods from other stores were still unaccounted for. But first, they needed to verify her identity. US. >> Um, let me You want to um get the girl from down there? >> Yeah. Show up. >> You got any identification on you? >> My mother's phone. >> Your phone's in here. My phone call. Can I call my sister and tell them that they they left me? They seen you. Yeah. 28. >> They were down by Macy's. >> Mhm. >> Yeah. I'll get that. Do you think your your ID's in your wallet in there? >> Yeah. >> Where you from? >> Um, think you got any more? No, I don't get three. >> Last time you were arrested. >> The suspect was charged with retail theft and possession of stolen property with potential felony enhancements due to prior convictions. Repeated theft, even small at first, escalates quickly when ignored. Being caught in the act leaves no room for excuses, and prior offenses only make the consequences harsher. Next, the scammer came face to face with the authorities and encountered strict law enforcement. >> You be straight with me for 5 seconds here. Is your name? >> Hello. >> Okay. >> Black one. >> Well, let's talk about what's >> It seems a little fishy, but I mean, I'm going to try to make some money. On June 10th, 2025, officers received a call from Enterprise Auto Rental regarding a reported fraud. Upon confirming the situation, they immediately responded to the scene and the woman, seemingly noticing their arrival, attempted to leave. Stay here. Stay here. Sit down. Sit down. Sit down. Did you come in that whiteboard? >> We already know you came in that whiteboard, right? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Do you have any ID on you? >> Let me see this ID that's in your hand. Okay. >> Thank you. >> What's going on? >> Is your name Can you be straight with me for 5 seconds here? Is your name? >> Okay. >> Well, let's talk about what's going on first. Okay. We don't have to. >> All right. >> The more cooperative you are, the better it is for everybody. >> Okay. Does that make sense? >> Please let me go to jail. >> Do me a favor. Um, >> where are you coming from? >> Chicago. >> From Chicago. >> Yeah. >> You want to take a seat or you stand? Okay, [laughter] >> let's go. Please, please. >> Although the woman made no admission, her fear spoke volumes, even reflecting her frustration upon realizing that the officers had documented everything. >> Is this yours? >> Is this yours? >> Yeah. >> What is your What's your name? >> What's your name? >> What's your name? >> Okay. And you're out of the city? Yeah. >> Okay. >> Please just let me know now if I'm going. >> Well, we like I said, let's talk first and then we'll go from there. Okay. Who are you? Who did you come here with? >> Um, I don't even know the guy's name. >> You don't even know the guy's name? >> No. >> What do you call him? >> Uh, Jack. >> What? >> Jack. >> You call him Jack? >> Yeah. >> How did you meet Jack? >> Oh, city. >> Okay. Um, >> okay. Come on, son. >> We'll be I'll be right back, folks. >> The officers questioned her about another individual as their investigation indicated that the woman had been working with an organization involved in fraudulent activities. Shortly after she fully confessed, >> let's hang out right here. Okay. So, how did you meet Jack? >> Um, it was like maybe a week ago and he was like, "Hey, you want to make some money?" And you know, I I I was >> Okay. And I >> What are you doing here today? >> I was trying to get a rental car. >> You were just trying to get a rental car? >> Yeah. >> Okay. For what purpose? >> Uh I don't know. I was um >> For who? >> It was for Jack. >> Was it for Jack? How did you get How did you contact Jack? >> He ran into me. He ran into you. >> Yeah. Like I'm I'm I'm from like out west, you know? >> Out west? >> Yeah. >> Where are you from >> originally? like the north of suburbs. I've been living out west probably like 10 years. >> 10 years. Why did Jack need a rental car? >> I don't know. Like I know maybe a week ago. I need money. >> Okay. Um please. >> Where did you get this? >> I gave it to me. >> He gave it to you? >> Yeah. the events leading up to this. Okay. So, how did where did you meet Jack? Like, where where did you meet him today? Where did he pick you up? >> Uh, we were I think we went to uh McDonald's. Yeah, >> McDonald's. >> Me and my wife at McDonald's. >> What? Like what city? >> Uh, like Austin area. >> So, he met you today and then he handed you these two things. >> Yeah. Like I I met him I met him two other times. I was uh was maybe a little over a week ago. >> Okay. >> Um like a week and a half ago and uh it seemed a little fishy, but I mean I was trying to make some money. You know what I mean? >> Did he say you were going to get money? Did you say you were going to get paid if you were to get a rental car? >> Yeah. >> You didn't say why you needed a rental car? >> No. >> It appeared that she described being led by others into deeper involvement, but it seemed this was not the first time she'd mishandled money. >> When's the last time you were in trouble, red police? Um, I mentioned about a year ago for what? >> Um, I was in the car with somebody who stole my car. >> Was a stolen car? >> Yeah. >> Where did that happen at? >> Chicago. >> Chicago. Okay. So, you've never met You don't even know his first name. >> I don't even He went by Jack. >> So, he's like, they're they're trying to >> So, he she she only knows him by Jack. They met like two weeks ago or a week ago, and she just got picked up at the McDonald's in Austin. At this point, [music] the officers also coordinated with the store employee who had fortunately detected the wrongdoing early on. >> So that name through a reservation like 30 minutes ago and the person who was actually them called me and said, "Hey, like something just got booked under my name and I didn't book a rental." >> Don. John. Okay. >> Yeah. And she said it happened to her yesterday in Virginia. >> Interesting. >> Yeah. And then she gave me her phone number. It didn't match what was on file. when she came in, I asked her to verify her date of birth, which she knew on from there, but the address >> and um what I asked her address and phone number, she couldn't she didn't even know what they were. So, I put under my fraud fighter, which we have up there, and Lincoln's hat is not in the right spot. So, >> okay. >> And I called my wrist like, "What do you want me to do?" They said, "Call the cops." So, perfect. Okay. >> Um I'll just grab you real quick if you don't mind. >> Yeah. Here's the first. >> So, this happened to this chick, I guess, yesterday at at a different enterprise in Virginia. I'm not sure if it's the same person or not, but she just said she I she didn't say anything about like cops being involved or like actually like a fraud charge going through. She said like she ordered a credit card in the mail and it never arrived so that credit card got stolen somehow. Um but she said she had a rental book in her name yesterday in Virginia and she noticed this one today so she can call me right away. I don't really know what happened. >> You have her phone number for Carol. Can I write this down on a uh sticky note for you? Yeah. >> I'm fresh out of freaking pages. [laughter] Just write it on. >> Yeah. >> By this time, the man named Jack, who was clear that the driver initially fled the scene, remained a mystery. Even when speaking with the employees, there was no trace of him that they could identify. >> When we were I didn't even see that there was a driver in there. Cuz when we pulled up, >> we literally pulled in front of that car. And I'm like, "Oh, there's nobody in there." And then he ended up driving and taking off. So, um, I don't think we need cameras for that. He didn't get out of the car, did he? Did no one else got out of the car? >> No, she was the only one. She got out of the back seat and then she came in. I was asking her some questions and she went back to the car for a few minutes and then came back inside. Um, but yeah, I never saw anyone else get out of the car. So, >> Okay. So, when she came in, she provided you with that ID. She [music] did she use that credit card? She tried to use it. >> Didn't even >> I already knew. So, like I just >> I mean, it's a pretty bad fake ID to be honest with you. Oh, all right, man. Uh, cool. I'll call you if I need anything else. >> I appreciate you guys. >> I I mean, hang on. >> Got 17 different clothing happening right here. Say that again. >> I don't know. Probably. [snorts] >> I don't know. >> I don't know. I don't know. Anything involving ID theft and everything else is in credit card theft, whatever you want to call it, is a felony in Illinois, right? So, I mean, we have to call the state's attorney's office. We tell the state's attorney with what we have and then ultimately they're going to be the ones that are going to charge you. You have nothing in your pockets? >> I have money in my bra. That's it. >> Okay. Money in your bra. >> You help me? >> Yeah, I can help you up. >> How much money is in your bra? >> 100 and some change. >> 100 and some change. There's no drugs. The woman was charged with multiple counts of ID fraud and credit card fraud. Cooperation with authorities and honesty are crucial. Trying to hide involvement or complicate the investigation only worsens the consequences. Before moving on to the next shoplifter, let's meet this drama queen. >> I said, "God got you." I said, "God got you. God got you. God got you. God got you." >> Oh my god, Nick. I'm losing my baby. I'm losing my baby. On September 19th, 2021, police were dispatched to the airport after receiving a report of a passenger accused of assaulting an employee at a Spirit Airlines gate. Upon arrival, the scene remained tense [music] as the chaos that had just unfolded still lingered in the air. >> Hello. >> Hi. >> What's going on? >> Yeah. Um, we need to take her. She hit me. She pushed me. She did everything. I'm gonna press charge. So I want to help her here. >> Okay, >> that's it. So she's holding Gordon. You understand her? >> Security bridge as well and everything. So >> absolutely. >> Ma'am, you have a driver license or an ID? >> Yes, I do. And I have my passport to get in. >> Go ahead and give me your driver's license. >> You can come over there. I think the unit coming over >> driver's license ready please don't come in the county because she she told you why listen to ID and driver's >> license don't judge that's the problem with cops I'm going to cut myself That's the problem. As a cops, we judge one side. So, don't judge one side. Listen to me and let me show you. >> But I'm not lying. I'm going to show you everything that you ask. I'm a cop. I'm a veteran. So, I'm going to show you my paperwork and I'm going to show you she's lying. Don't judge one side. Okay. >> The woman clearly wanted the police to listen to her, but her attitude toward them was entirely hostile. While the officers tried to understand what had happened, all she did was vent her anger. >> I miss my life. The goodness was his wife and I'm going to show you my car. >> Girl didn't like me. >> She had an attitude with me. You know what she told the guy? >> It's recording cuz I'm going to give you my phone so you can go outside and listen. He goes, "You know what? She's not getting a friend. It's okay. Leave her. She's not getting a fight. That's abuse of power. >> Two kids, officer. >> This is my kids. Okay. Show my new location back in level 21. >> I even give you my pen. Look, >> ma'am. Listen. Look no look. My husband who's a sher in the army. I'm a sher myself. He's also a sher in our Kansas. Um I just came from our Kansas. >> Um this is my kid. This is my kid. I'm going to give you the paperwork. I just want you to know how people, and I never see that in my life. I just want you to know how people abuse their power. >> She introduced her entire family and their professions as if she herself was the one abusing power. She did not make anything easy. >> Ma'am, you're not going to fly. >> Why? >> Because they're not going to allow it. >> Why? >> Because they said so. Doesn't matter. We have to go down. >> What? Our people. Ma'am, >> I paid for it. >> Driver's license and we need to go now. >> All right. But >> if you do not do this, I do not want to put you in handcuffs. >> All right. But I paid for it. >> Understood. We talk about that driver's license. Let's go. >> I just want to have I'm going to go, but I just have one. I'm going to go. I just have one question. >> So, you need to tell me that it's okay for someone to say, you know what? I don't want to hurt my life. Let's go. Come with me. Thank you. We can talk. We can talk. Thank you. Appreciate your appreciate your cooperation. All right. >> Uh well, if you just threaten her, I'm going to charge her. Okay. >> I said, "God got you." I said, "God got you. God got you. God got you. God got you." >> Keep coming. >> God got you, baby. Don't worry. >> At that point, it was still unclear who was truly at fault. But the moment she walked out past the security gate, the reaction of the other passengers said everything. >> We can't go through here. All right. Okay. Just go around. >> Follow me. Just follow me. Follow me. Follow me. Follow me. Follow me. Follow me. Follow me. >> Yeah. Make sure you put that on Facebook. Right. [cheering] Thank you. >> Let's go. Let's go. Go. Come here. Come Come with me. Come with me. >> Ma'am, come with me. Let's go. >> Stupid tomorrow. Tomorrow you're going to sound stupid cuz you're going to be like, "Oh, she was right." >> No, it's okay. It's okay. >> I'm an officer. Like, >> I made over 100K a year. I'm okay. I'm okay. >> There you go. >> I'm okay. >> One officer stayed behind with the airport staff to continue hearing their side of the story. And through those statements, the suspect's sense of entitlement became increasingly clear. >> U she was talking, so I was talking to her and everything like really nice. She'd be like, "Hey, can you change my seat?" And then she was talking like, >> "I'm military. I'm pregnant." And I'll be like, "Okay, yeah. Are you pregnant?" So, how many months? And she'd be like, "Eight months." And I'll be like, "Okay." But she apparently be in toxic care, you know, as well. She's male. Like, >> so I'll be like, you know, take a seat over here. Take a break. You're going to board last. Could give you some break while you >> where where was all this happening? Over here or >> over here in front? Actually, she was next to the podium and I have all these people. >> So then um she >> got off. >> Did she ever get on the aircraft? >> No. >> Did she ever get on of out of onto the >> No, but she went inside the jeep without being boarding because she was deny boarding. I told her that she didn't go on the plane because then she start um >> pregnant around 30 complaining of pain >> and also supervisor. She wants >> she was talking and then she started >> telling me things like this don't want to let me go and I be like >> you talking about this telling you that you go last because you need some break >> and then she still go. So I'd be like, "You know what? You're deny boarding. You don't go nowhere." >> This is all here. >> All here. Got it. >> She was in line ready to board with the wheelchips and everything. >> Her town number 23. >> My agent told her, "No, you >> I'm sorry." >> Of course, the statements alone were not enough. And the victims also provided video evidence showing the woman's earlier aggressive behavior. >> I cannot I I cannot see you. Did Did you um film it, ma'am? >> Yeah, I just sent it to her. >> Oh, you sent that to her. Okay. Can you check your phone where she that or her or whatever happened? >> I'm trying not to see it and over here. >> So, yeah, her and the mother. >> If you need a 24 hours for this, let me know and I'll break from here. And our AMR doesn't have a unit available at this time. I'll let you know if they have available. >> Was it after that she hit you or >> I'm trying to listen? >> No, I guess that >> I don't even talk to her or anything. I was waiting all the time 182 unit. YOU JUST HAVE >> YEAH, WE HAVE it right here. >> So, >> wait, is that you? >> Yeah, cuz she was trying to >> So, here's >> my mom. >> Oh, your mom. Okay. >> Yeah, the mom, >> you know, like that >> and then she hit her. >> Oh, that. Okay, there. Okay, got separate. >> Can you send that to me? >> Back with the woman, she appeared to believe she had the right to act that way as she continued boasting about her power at that moment. >> I make 120. I make 120 years ago. I'm not going to pick it up. >> Get your manager to tell me that I need to get there. >> From here, man. >> It's okay. Get your I make 100 20 >> I make 120,000 a year. Get your manager or an attorney that can tell me to go to your office because you just wrongfully got me out of the plane. I need you to come. >> I can sue you. So get your get your manager. He's in the office. Also get your manager to sit right here and tell me you don't want to come with me. You need to get over here. >> I'm giving you a lot of command. >> It's okay. You >> failure. Listen. It's a failure to comply. >> It's going to be charging with resisting. >> Do you understand what I'm saying? >> I'm pregnant and I can sue this. >> OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD. I'M IN PAIN. >> Oh my god. OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD. I'MING LICKING. I'm licking. I'm licking. I'm licking. Licking. I'm licking. Oh my god. I think I'm losing my baby. I'm losing my baby. I'ming losing my baby. >> Oh mying god. Oh my god. >> It was obvious that this was a tantrum she had just come up with on the spot, unfolding so naturally that it clearly was not her first time. Her behavior grew increasingly more irrational by the minute. Let me [laughter] give me give me a >> 1842. I didn't have a birth child. Normal love. You wanted to [ __ ] show mommy. Look at my son. You know why like her get away with because the [ __ ] like you because you got to let them get away with you [snorts] know what she said I don't like you I don't think you're pretty enough you shouldn't even get on this plane >> the officers did not act immediately at that moment but everything would soon come to an end when additional backup arrived bringing the final chapter of the chaos to a close >> the worst experience itself he goes he goes >> excuse me >> he goes you know what mental. >> He goes, >> "This is what the He goes. You want to know what they say? >> Oh, >> Victoria, can you >> shut the up and LET ME HEAR WHAT I SAID? You know what they said? You know what they said? >> Really? >> Victoria, calm down. I heard you now. You said it to me twice. I heard you. >> Leave me alone. >> You're under arrest. >> Here, it's okay. You want to know that you see the blade that you touch? Make sure you uh >> that break. >> Finally, she was charged with disorderly conduct and battery. Lying about authority, escalating emotions, and refusing to cooperate [music] only destroyed her own position and turned a manageable situation into criminal charges. Next, this employee ended up risking his entire future for the sake of his friendship. >> So, you are willing? Yes, basically >> to take a charge for a good friendship. >> On April 23rd, 2024, police received a call from Target regarding a theft that had occurred with the suspect [music] believed to be the store's own cashier. Upon arriving at the scene, the manager immediately laid out everything they had uncovered. >> On here, just kind of everything happened. So over the past since July 26th, so we have on camera for video evidence um just doing markdowns for his friends like uh video games marking on 50% unauthorized and um you know on three separate occasions that we have on video the same three friends, same card number. Um so we've been talking to men there about everything that happened. He admitted to it and then on the 14th of this month scanned himself a gift card and put cash payment in cash. >> Let me just stop you there one second. So this about a month ago there was some activity that happened here marking stuff down, >> seeing it on video, >> saying kids got it on video, all that stuff. You talked to him at that point about it. >> Uh were any charges? Did you press any charges at that time? >> No. So the the stuff that we talked to him about, we're talking all to him right now about everything that occurred. Um >> reason is cuz we didn't know it was a trend cuz usually like said you have a a one guess. It's random, right? So when we reviewed video and kind of kept tabs on them, he had it three separate occasions, same kids. Some of them wear the same clothes doing unauthorized markdowns pretty much like I said half off. So yeah, >> and these are and these are um customers coming in, friends of his, whatever it is, he's doing all >> he admitted that they were friends of his that he was pretty much hooking them up. >> Okay. >> And then also the 14th this month, uh most recently, he scanned himself a $100 Target Visa gift card on the register. When you put cash, you have to put cash in the register. If not, he'll pretty much just charge Target for it. So he pretty much charged Target for it and then put it in a bag and sealed his pocket and walked out. So >> when we uh were in the office with him, um we pretty much talked to he still had a mission statement. pretty much aditt it to everything that he's been marking down stuff for for his friends since beginning of this year and it's probably close to like two grand a loss. >> Thus, the suspect committed wrongdoing for the sake of his friends. Not only scamming gift cards, but also abusing his position to take other merchandise. >> Um, sorry, I'm just supporting a case. So, this is >> not mine. Um, this was Markdowns at the register. So friends of his that came through um for Legos, video game accessories, and for the most part everything was about 50% markdown uh for unauthorized price overrides. Um so there was three backto-back transactions on this occasion. So that's the first transaction. Second one here is for like a digital storage device. Uh the other one was for like a computer gaming accessory for video gaming accessory. >> Was he running the register? Yeah, he was maning the register. >> And who was the customer? >> Um, so on all of these occasions, it was three males. I'm not familiar with them. He said that >> were that people you knew? >> Uh, I knew two of them. >> Who was the third one? >> Third one um is a friend of theirs and I didn't know him personally very well, but yeah. >> So, what was the deal? Like you you were cutting them a break and then they were paying you off or >> No, I didn't do this thing and all of my >> Then why you're dead? >> Then why you did that? Well, >> I don't. >> If you thought the man had sacrificed his entire future for friendship, [music] think again. Police had already noticed suspicious demeanor behind the motive for his wrongdoing. >> So you are willing? Yes, basically >> to take a charge for a good friendship. >> No, I I understand that. It just like blows my mind that you're willing to do that. Go to jail >> for a friend. I mean, I want you as my friend, dude. So, out of all this, you kept $100 for yourself. You still have that gift card or you already use it? >> Um, my family has it. I don't know if they used it or not. You >> who you gave it to? >> Gave it to my father. >> Your father? >> I um I do have one on me though. >> Huh? >> I do have one on me. >> The friend? >> I believe there was two gift cards I stole. >> How much each? 500 >> $100 each. >> And the one that you gave [music] it to your dad, you just gave him as a gift or did you tell him? >> Um, my grandfather has a pancreas infection right now. >> Uh-huh. >> And so I kind of gave it to him as like, you know, some money to help pay for the hospital, but that's about it. In reality, the $100 he mentioned was nowhere near enough to cover the hospital bills he claimed. At that point, police proceeded to question him about the individuals he referred to as his friends. >> Okay. >> Uh, three guys. I don't know. >> Um, I I just know he's a friend of theirs. And so I know the other two, Gavin and Kyle. >> Okay. So, three three people, three individuals. Okay. >> You say what's his name? >> Um, two of them are Gavin and Kyle. The last guy is Phil. Um, don't call me Phil. Yes. Yes. Um, Phil did not go to my school though. >> But he is friends with Gavin. >> I went to Philip. >> And um, >> is that where you go, Dr. Phillips? >> That's right. >> And you're I heard you're 18. Okay. >> But um, >> yeah. Take your time. Take your time. >> Those markdowns are from Gavin and Kyle. Um, infill I guess coming into Target asking for a discount. >> Do you remember what types of items that you marked down? >> Uh, yes. Legos mainly. Um, video game accessories, um, some video games, like actual games. car. >> Although police already knew everything about the incident, they continued asking questions to see whether the man would admit to anything further. >> How many times How many times you discounted that you think you discounted Kevin and Galvin? >> I know Target is saying three, but it was those three or you think it was more than three? >> Five more than three. >> More than three. >> More than three. >> Uh do you have any idea? 5 10 15 >> not 15 maybe like between five and 10. >> Between five and 10. And then uh you had a mention to me earlier that uh besides uh Kevin and Galvin u you also discounted some other transactions for other friends. >> Yes. Like once or twice. >> Okay. Was the same thing. They came up to you and said, "Hey, Sebastian, we're good friends. Can you give me a discount?" Or you just immediately like, "I I got you." >> They came up to me as >> um who are this other uh >> friends from school. >> Just friends from school. um total between the transactions uh with Kevin and Galvin plus the other uh couple that you discounted. How much money you think you discounted? >> I said to them like 2,000 >> 2,000 really? >> But I I >> Right. No, fair enough. It is what it is. Thus, everything was sufficient to conclude the crime the suspect had committed, and police proceeded with their actions. >> All right, sir. Uh, has to turn around for me real quick. All right. Trans. Thank you. >> You guys, you guys need anything else from us? Um, are you guys going to look into the remaining amount or in this case just close on your end? >> Um, >> probably just close on our end cuz everything but um within uh like footage. >> Okay. >> Yeah, it's probably outside of the time frame link. So, make sure you bring >> Do we have a back door >> so we don't have to walk him? >> Yeah, I'll walk. I got >> Okay. You uh you want to hold them for a minute and I'll go grab >> not to walk in front of all your coworkers. >> Okay, I'll take my car right here. >> No. Yeah, they should we should exit by the side door where your car is. >> Might as well be on the other side. So, if you want to stay with him, I'll grab my car. >> In the end, he was charged with petty theft. A single wrong choice made for the sake [music] of friendship could cost an entire future, proving that misplaced loyalty often led to irreversible consequences. On the next case, let's meet the electric duo. >> Get to the ground. Get to the ground. Behind your back. Get down. >> On September 27th, 2023, police received a report about a couple shoplifting at a mall before fleeing to the parking lot. When officers found the woman hiding in the bushes, she feigned innocence with a shocking display of fake naivity upon facing them. What's going on? Nothing. 102 or something female. Scared. >> Scared of what? What's your name? What's your name? >> I don't have a name. >> You don't have a name? What's going on? Hey, excuse me. Stand by. >> Don't touch me. >> What's going on? >> Nothing. >> Did you see somebody? I'm not telling you what to do in >> Hey, what are these calls? >> Um, >> the woman tried to maintain a strained composure, persistently refusing to cooperate even though she knew the police were fully aware of the situation, which only escalated matters further. [screaming] >> I'm literally on my smell. Her decision to resist only made things harder for herself. Yet, the woman remained oblivious, [music] allowing the situation to spiral further. >> No, you're going to jail for resisting. >> I don't have an ID. >> What's your name? >> I'm not telling you. >> Okay. >> Almost there. >> Stay there. Stay there if you don't want to. >> There's a male. >> [screaming] >> Meanwhile, the other officers continued searching for the male suspect. Get his hand on the back. Give me other hand. >> Hey, let them know we got one detained. >> We got to make copy. Hey, I told you to stop, right, buddy? Apprehending the man took longer, but he admitted his involvement far more readily than the woman. Even taking full responsibility for the wrongdoing. >> I'm so sorry. >> Your vitals are okay. >> I got to do something. Shit's off right. >> Yeah. Yeah. I'm scared. Come here, man. I'm going to sit you. I'm going to sit you. Hey, you know how you avoid all these problems? >> Don't do it. I should listen to her. That's my fault. She told me not to. How? >> You just walked out [screaming] of the store. >> I DIDN'T I DROPPED THE STUFF. >> I WATCHED YOU ON CAMERA. >> I DROPPED the stuff. They were clearly nothing more than irrational excuses, venting anger at the officer's actions. Everything would have gone far more smoothly if she had simply done what the police instructed. >> Have the stuff, though. >> You didn't even say nicely like, "Oh, I'm sorry you got me." You just threw it on the ground and tried to walk away. You could have been like, "All right, I'm sorry, officer." Again, listen, you're underestal. >> Okay. Anything in your pockets? >> Okay. Well, it's it Listen, this is going to go either really smoothly and get you out of here as fast as we can, or you're going to be difficult and it's going to make it 10 times longer. So, can you just have a seat, please? Please. I'm asking nicely. I've said please probably like three times so far. >> It was clear that the officers continued to treat the suspect with as much respect as possible. Yet, that restraint seemed to make her believe she held the upper hand, leading her to act as if she had the right to be difficult. Have a seat, please. Please sit down. Don't square up with them. That's That's a battle you're not going to win. Have a seat, please. >> Have a seat. Have a seat. Sit down. >> Why are you going to make this difficult? >> You're caught. >> Stop playing the games. And if she's going to keep her hands behind her back, so be it. >> Move her down. >> She doesn't want to listen. >> Just Just stop. It's over. All right. Just stop. The woman acted as if this were some childish game of emotional defiance. Silence can sometimes signal cooperation, but not here. There was no shame, no remorse, and no acknowledgement of her actions whatsoever. >> Cooperate with us. If we take the handcuffs off you, you're not going to start flailing around or trying to hit us. Okay. This is trust me between me and you right now. Okay. Let's make this work. Turn around for me a little bit. the other hand around. Do you want to sit or you want to stand? Okay. Like I said, whatever happened out there happened out there. Let's try to turn that around and go in the right direction. Let me ask you, are you 18 years old? Yes. Okay. So, I give you a second. >> Water. >> I'm not I'm not going to ask you why you did what you did. Whatever you did, it happened. Okay? That's in the past. Whatever happened out there happened out there. Okay? So, let's reset while we're inside. Once the woman was in the best possible condition, police still failed to obtain any further statement from her. With no cooperation at all, they were forced to make decisions based solely on what they had already established. >> You'll probably just get the two charges for shoplifting depending on what the degree. How much was it? >> 480. >> So, this was just go grab something real quick. At that moment, another officer approached the second suspect from a distance, positioning each suspect on opposite sides, turning the entire corner of the store into a chaotic scene. >> I'm right here. I'm right here. THEY'RE GOING TO GIVE ME NOAH. I'm right here. >> Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. >> No, y'all got to give me my kid. Y'all can't do that. >> Listen. >> Listen. Please let go of me. Please let go of the phone. >> Let go. Let go. >> Like you guys are literally putting me in handcuffs for nothing. >> So you put your arm behind your back. >> Shortly after, both were escorted away. While their physical resistance had lessened, the tension in their voices remained, and they even continued dragging family members into their excuses. >> Have a seat. >> Please have a seat. >> No, I need my child. Have a seat. >> You're resisting. >> I'm not resisting. How is this? I'm not fighting. >> I don't want to sit. >> Sit down. >> Sit down. >> Do I have to? >> Yes, you have to. >> Like, you guys got me in handcuffs for no reason right now. NO, I DIDN'T. >> YOU'RE JUST MAKING THIS LONGER THAN IT NEEDS TO BE. >> GET ME OUT these handcuffs, bro. >> Even after overusing the excuse of concern for her children, the woman immediately shifted to other justifications, portraying herself as the victim in the situation >> so that we can move forward with the process. >> I'm not going all the way in this car. I have very bad No, I can't. I'm going to end up in the hospital. I already feel like I'm about to have an anxiety attack. You guys are going to have to call an an ambulance, bro. Okay. >> Give me a kiss. >> You have the right to remain and not answer your question. >> Any statement you must make must be freely and voluntarily given. >> Sit down. Sit down. Come here. >> You're going to get multiple resisting charges in front of your kid. >> I need to sit. WHY ARE YOU making me SIT WRONG? CAN I SIT PROPERLY? >> WELL, NO. That's why he were here. That's exactly why you were here. >> Oh, we are. >> Yeah. >> So, you have knowledge of this. Clearly, you guys just pulled her out of a bathroom, so clearly she was stealing. >> Suspiciously, how did she know her relative had gone in with the stolen items when she hadn't even entered yet? All of this only further exposed her deceit. Back with the person inside the restroom, the officer had to remain cautious. >> I'm wearing my glass on right now. >> Don't worry about all that, okay? >> Listen, here's what's going to happen. What's going to end up happening he goes with DCF? You don't cooperate. >> DCF? >> Yeah. So, I would suggest that you cooperate. I am cooperating >> cuz we can we can make THIS A WHOLE LOT HARDER FOR YOU. >> I JUST WANT TO KNOW. >> WELL, I'M explaining to you. You don't have to worry about that. We got it under control. You were in the car while she was getting the moving boxes and all that. >> No, we were in the store together right there. >> So, she was getting moving boxes and what were you getting? >> We were together the whole time. >> What were you getting? >> I got my scrubs with her and we went over to get boxes. >> Scrubs? Why did you take the items into the bathroom? >> I originally wanted her to go pee and check my son. >> Okay. >> So, do you realize you cannot take items in in the bathroom? >> I didn't know that. >> I've done that before. I've gone to the bathroom with my purchase. Shortly after, the woman was also escorted to the police vehicle. She still appeared anxious, but it was clear that her worry was entirely of her own making. >> Who was going to come get my child? >> No. The host DCF going to come get my y'all just told me his grandma's I need to call his grandma to come get him. I'm not let him go to DCF, bro. No. Y'all brought me up. No. Y'all said y'all was going to LET ME GET HIS GRANDMA. I'M NOT GOING, BRO. OKAY. Can I sit? So, after you go to the hospital, we're going to cut you a break. We're going to release you with an NTA. Okay? As long as you provide all information. >> I don't understand why this just happened. I didn't tell you. >> Listen, >> I just want my nephew. >> If I don't release you on the NTA, I have to take you to county. So, it's all up to you. >> I know. I don't have anything. >> NTA is I release you tonight and you got to go to a court date. All right? And you tell them you have to listen. You argue that with the court. You argue that with the court. Okay? >> But those are the two options you got. >> I can release you at NTA or you I can take you to county. Whatever you want to do, that's up to you. >> I want to go home for my >> Okay. So, we're going to take you out to the hospital, get your information, release you. >> That's fine. >> Some remorse had begun to surface, but not for her actions, only for her perceived fate. A sentiment mirrored by the other suspect. I thought it wasn't the best thing for me to do. [laughter] >> Listen. Listen, bro. What the [ __ ] >> The good thing is the >> Adora. The good thing everything is it's a misdemeanor. Okay. Is this your first time? Is it >> Okay. The judge is going the judge is going to take that in consideration. Okay. Evade responsibility, make excuses, especially by involving children. Only escalate consequences remaining calm as deception and defiance can turn minor mistakes into serious legal trouble. Next, the lesbian couple ran, lied, and tried to disappear. What ending did it lead to? >> Oh, I'm going out. They're in front of >> Hi, how are you? >> Hold on, man. >> Put that down. >> On August 25th, 2023, police received a call from Target reporting two women involved in theft who tried to flee the scene. Upon arrival, officers swiftly confronted one suspect, sparking immediate chaos. Stop. Down here. Do it down there. >> Stop. >> I swear to God. Go down there. >> Stop. Do it down here. >> Stop. >> Come here. Here. >> Stop. >> Babe, I'm going out there in front of >> Babel. Babe, help. Babe, help me. Babe, help me. You're under. >> FOR WHAT? FOR WHAT? BABE, help me. Babe, help. Oh, I'm out with her in front of the Ford dealership. Stop. Put your hands behind your back. >> Okay. Okay. I can't breathe. Please. >> Turn around. >> Can I get up, please? Get up, please. Quick. >> You're making this way worse to yourself. >> Where are you coming from? >> Marshall. That's another >> That's not me. That's >> Yeah, that's right now. going to take you down there. >> The woman fabricated the existence of another person to shift the blame. But this raised a question. If she were innocent, why did she run when confronted by the police? >> Yeah, but when I told you to stop, just started running away from >> scared. Okay. >> Nothing. I I went to the marshals. She was looking for her. >> I don't want to say you know that you're not looking for car around here because I >> Yeah. Pull it pull it in the parking. I'll walk her over. You got any warrants? >> No. Not that you know us? >> No, I don't. >> Where you from? >> Bergen County. Where you live down here? >> Um, I'm living down here right now because I'm I'm homeless. >> So, I'm moving down in there with my fiance and my and my friend. >> What's your fiance's name? >> Her name is Catherine. >> Catherine W. >> Um, last name is Henderson. H E R S O N. She's right down there in the room. That's who I I heard her 105. I heard her calling for the woman outside of Target calling for her. And I told her to just stop and like just stop. But she kept going. But you were looking for me. You're looking for her. Okay. >> For real. >> Oh, you can't run regardless. >> I understand. I wasn't sure. I was >> At this point in the patrol car, she realized it was impossible to change the truth with the police. And that's when she confessed. >> If you're lying to us that there's a receipt on here, it's not going to do you any good either way. It It's over at this point. So, do you really have a receipt on here or do you not have a receipt on here? >> I have a receipt for for part of them and not all of them. I'll be honest with you. >> All right. All right. So, there is certain things that you paid for and certain things that you did. Yes, sir. All right. >> All right. Do you want Do you want to pull that up? You don't have to show us. I'm just going to be honest with you. >> It's up to you. We're going to go to the store and we're going to find out. >> You're just going to scan and they're going to tell us what was taking all wasn't. That's >> it'll just speed things along if if you want to show us. But it's totally your decision. We're not going to go in your phone unless you give us consent. >> Okay. Well, I can show you what wasn't and what was if you want. >> No, that's all right. >> Okay. >> We'll hold off. We'll just take her over there. >> Just go all over there. >> At least you're being honest, though. >> Yeah, I appreciate it. >> I know. I know. I know. I got you. I got you. It's not the end of the world. >> All right. We'll just She doesn't have ID on her either. That's the only thing. >> I'm sure we'll find out. >> Yeah. Yeah. Looking back, her actions were executed with swift, deliberate calculation, suggesting this was likely not her first time. Police quickly raised the same suspicion. Have >> you ever been arrested for shoplifting? >> Um, a while ago, like 10 years ago. Um, I had I went and filled out paperwork for public defender yesterday. >> You went to what? I went to Neptune and filled out paperwork for a public defender yesterday for something for a charge I didn't get I didn't get arrested for. Um I'm waiting to see the judge for that. I had to I have court for that in December. Um yeah, but that's from I didn't get arrested for it. I saw the judge via Zoom last week and she said you have until Thursday to file paper for a public defender and then we go from there. And I went and did that yesterday. But I haven't been charged with anything like it yet. But like I said, I didn't even get arrested for anything. I haven't shoplifted in they said they had me on camera doing something, but I didn't actually get like like an officer didn't come and pick me up is what I'm trying to tell you. Since 2013. Meanwhile, by the store, an officer arrived in time to verify the report and locate the second suspect with the entire process clearly captured on surveillance cameras. >> Hello. >> Hey, how are you? >> Good. So, we got the one of the two. We got the one that had the black bag. >> So, she has merchandise in here. So, she wasn't being 100% truthful with us, but she said some of that is hers that she had a receipt, but doesn't have She said it's on her phone, but she doesn't have it with her. Is there a way you guys can tell? >> She's saying she bought a few things and stole the rest, so I know for sure what was taken. >> I mean, she never goes to register, but I'll be able to find that stuff. I can run it and find no transaction by her. >> Yeah. Yeah. She didn't even go to a register today. All right. Then she stole it off. Yeah. I mean, if she didn't even go to a register go to court and figure it out. >> Did this one steal anything? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Not sure who we were like physically watching today. >> Okay. >> Really? >> Yeah. She was the one we saw like this is going to be her. >> Let me I'm just going to put a quick description out on her. Is that Is that a female? Is that like a female? I believe >> female short hair. >> Yeah. >> They're the two that ride the bikes down the highway and they go into Asbury and then they come back. >> Oh, really? >> Yeah. >> Right now it looks like uh The other subject's going to be a short white female with short hair, white t-shirt, and a backpack. Possibly stole some undershirts. She sucks it all, brings the card around, backpacks off. Everything was in. >> Well, this is what we're watching in real time. >> Yeah. The items were then recovered and returned by police. Though they appeared simple, their combined value was far from small. >> You still need the total for the person with the backpack. >> Yeah, >> that's her total. >> And then I got you a case number, too. >> I got I got it for you. >> Okay. Thank you. Don't worry. Here you go. Thank you. >> I thought I had Thank you. The stuff that she didn't pay for was her her three lighters, >> a box knife, and like a >> That's like her stuff. >> That's her That's Yeah. So, she's clearly uh >> I don't think she used that knife to cut anything. >> No. Nope. Nope. Nope. I think it just at the bottom of this ready. Okay. Um, let's go for this. Um, That's just one as well. That's four. >> This is going to be what the other one took. >> Oh, way off. >> Yeah. >> One pairs were 26 bucks. So, it comes to like $144.95. >> Sounds. Shortly after, police approached a house based on the suspect description, hoping to locate the second woman. But when the door opened, the person inside was not who they were looking for. >> Yes. >> Hello. How are you? >> Good. >> Is Catherine around? >> Who's Catherine? >> Catherine? White girl with short hair? >> Not that I know of. >> Not that you know of? >> Not that I know. >> Is anyone else in there with you? >> No, not that I know of. I just got in here. I was next door. So, >> okay. Is this >> Take a quick look. We're just looking for cash. I can't give you permission to do that. >> Is this your place? >> No, it's not my place. >> Whose place is it? >> It's A1's. >> It's A1's. >> Who's A1? >> He's a good friend of mine. >> Okay. >> But I can't give you permission. >> Okay. >> You know where the girl with short hair. Does she stay here or stay? >> I don't know. >> All right. >> All right. >> Well, it be a shame. I just Here's the thing. There was a minor thing that happened. Uh, we're just trying to end it right now. Otherwise, we got to put a warrant out for her. She going to go right to the county jail. It's a little thing. If she's here, boom, boom, boom. Summoned on her way. But we don't find her today. She got warrant. She goes right to jail. So, you can >> All right. Okay. Okay. I just We just got to leave this a little bit. You can You can close her right there. >> It was clear something was being hidden in the woman's statement. Even her request for time to close the door was clearly meant to speak with someone inside. The truth came to light shortly after. >> What does she do? What does she do? >> I mean, if she's not like family, we can't really say, but I can tell you for sure that it's a it's a minor thing. Disorderly person's thing. Not the end of the world. I think she knows >> how to put that down. Thank you for coming out. We appreciate you down. Make sure you didn't do anything. >> Okay. >> Just a minor thing at Target. I think you know what it's about. Do you have any drugs or anything on you that's going to hurt me? Both me? >> Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. >> All right. Okay. >> You good, Case? >> Yep. So, we just want to answer a question. Where's the bag that you took that we saw on camera? Where? >> Back here. >> Where? Over here. >> Back in the by the Oh, over there by the dealership. >> By the dealership. If I drove you over there, could you show me where you threw it? >> I mean, kind of. I threw everything. Like, I threw it loose. >> Yeah. Okay. I didn't want to be caught with it. >> Just put your hands together like you're praying. >> You have any warrants, Catherine? Nope. >> You got any warrants? >> I don't know if I've never met you before. I've been arrested before or not. It's a shoplifting thing. It's not the end of the world. Get you out in a summon and go to court. All right. >> All right. I got your >> appreciate your cooperation. Good luck to you. All right. >> Both of them were charged with shoplifting. Meanwhile, the first woman was also charged with resisting arrest. Trying to outrun the truth only made the consequences worse. Panic, lies, and flight turned a simple theft into serious charges.
