Crimes that could cost him up to a year in jail. Here's a hard lesson. Power may open doors, but it can't erase guilt. Once you break the law, no title or connection can shield you from justice. Yeah, you ran away from me. The struggle didn't end there. Even after realizing her wrongdoing, the woman had no intention of making things easy. So you don't want to give me your information? If you don't, it's an extra charge. I have no problem doing that. >> [snorts] >> It's failure to identify to police officer. You don't have to answer any other questions. Came in with empty bags, backpacks, stuff like that. >> Oh, the watch? Oh, darn, she lied. Yeah, the wallets. On October 3rd, 2024, officers received a call about two women at a Burlington store acting suspiciously with empty backpacks and bags. When officers arrived, employees revealed they were regulars in the game of snatching free merchandise. Okay. Um, they've came in, this is our usual. They come in about 10:15, and they run around stuff carts, and then they attempt to walk out with them. Okay. Um, these ones came in very suspicious from the beginning. Came in with empty bags, backpacks, stuff like that. Um, but that's what we've noticed. They're they're literally just grabbing stuff. So, are they still in here right now doing it? Okay. So, they're like it's in progress, essentially. Okay, and I see that my guys just got here, too, so. Um, I will wait for them to come in, and then we'll head in there. So, this back end over here, through here. Okay. >> [laughter] >> Thank you. Yeah, yeah. Uh, what what are we doing? Are we waiting for them to actually steal? That's what I'm wondering. Like in the Target overtime days, you just wait for them so you have something to do? What's the word? This is what they look like. Now, she has this bag in the basket and the other bag. And as I'm going past the men's shoes now, you can kind of see her in the basket. >> She's putting items in there. You can kind of see her working in there. She's got watches, she's got shoes, they've got all kind of stuff in that basket. And this one, her backpack looks a little bigger than it was when she got here. >> [laughter] >> But they're both in the back corner of our store right now, so. Yeah, that's usually the ones that hang out by the men's shoes are usually the ones that hit the emergency door, so. And there are Is there four of them, or just those two? >> Two. Um, he said the two of the The other two people that came in at the same time as them Did they already leave? This gentleman and another guy that came in right behind them, they've walked out already. With items or without? Okay, just They just They came in, kind of looked around, and then they left. And then the them two those two stayed. And it's the red hair, blue hair girls? Yeah. It's like a copper It's like a copper color. And then hers, the part that's hanging out of her hat, you can see that it's like a bluish. The officers waited outside, and as soon as the women matching the description appeared, they were immediately intercepted by police. Here's Here's Here comes one of them. Hi, ma'am. Can we talk to you real quick? Can we talk to you real quick? Yes. Uh, so the store um Yeah, we put every We did We put everything back. >> Okay, they want you guys trespassed. Okay. So, we're going to If you don't Do you have any idea on you? >> No, I don't. I got warrants. Okay. How we doing? How we doing? So, Okay, so the store wants you guys trespassed. Okay. Do you have any ID on you? Uh, no, I'm from California. You're from California? Okay. My ID was in my purse when we got robbed. Two each like this. And then uh What's your Uh, okay. We're We're going to work through this. What What's your last name? Ma'am, what's your last Take these back off. Okay. Just relax. All right. Can I take this one off as well? Why am I being arrested, sir? So, we'll explain in just a second, okay? Okay, but why am I being arrested? But why am I being handcuffed? For theft, okay? For theft. Look, this is my first time being in this Burlington, sir. Okay, so for stealing. For stealing. They are saying that they saw you put stuff in your bags, and now you're walking out with said bags. So, that would be stealing. The woman in the hat claimed she had returned the items and accepted the situation, but the other refused. Police still uncovered stolen goods hidden in her bag. Is this your guys's product? You're saying that it's hers. And those are from the Those are from over here. Okay. The shoes is not Not your guys's? No. And then whatever those headphones aren't, either. The BT21? Let me ask the manager. Okay. He's saying American Eagle, so I'm assuming no. But how about the shoes or the uh headphones? No, those aren't from here. >> Okay. That's just the first bag, so. Yeah. What bag was she putting it in? Uh, those the the duffel bag. >> So, both of the duffel bags. So, not this one. Ah, okay. Okay. Whose stuff is this? That's my coat. Oh, not not to that part yet? Oh, all right, my bad. And you said that So, the the only thing out of that bag is a coat? I promise you. Okay. Is there anything in her bags? No, but In the bags? Okay. Okay. But moments later, every lie unraveled as more and more items surfaced like hidden treasure. Only this treasure came from stealing, not any reward. Yeah, go and sit up for me. What are you going to do? We're going to take you in on those warrants. But she's got a felony warrant. Please, no. Yes, they're Jordans. They're brand new. They're They're mine. Uh, what other Is it just this bag? >> It's just that coat. The other stuff is not from I'll be honest, I'm not going to believe what you're saying right now. These two bags, not this one. These two? Yep, these two right here. Wait, those warrants confirmed? Yeah, they did. They con- They confirmed them. Give me a second. Oh, the watch? Oh, darn, she lied. Yeah, the wallets. Oh my god, it smells terrible in here. Do you guys mind getting them like a dollar amount? All right. Well, you lied, like I knew you did. Well, I lied about what? Cuz there's two wallets in there. There's a watch in there. Oh, that was Ah, but I didn't know. That's why I always check. Okay, but I wasn't That's confirmed. Good. Okay, they're confirmed. So, she is under arrest now, for sure. So, if you want to continue searching or taking your, you know, the bags, all that kind of stuff, huh? Okay. And the boots, the snakeskin boots? Did she say shoes in there? I think you had like five thefts shoplifting warrants. Four? Sorry. It's probably getting real rough to give you a break if you got five shoplifting I'm not trying to get you in a mess, I understand. I know you're not trying to, but I'm just being honest. And then one of them You got to stop stealing. You got it. You're doing a lot of you You got a good work ethic. You got this much going on. Okay. Just see Did anybody tell you you had that felony warrant out of state? Okay. That will not go away, ever. It's going to be there forever, so at some point, they'll probably get fed up and take you in. After arresting the women, police gathered more information from the employee. Everything seemed as if these two women had a magic power to make items vanish. They were kind of just grabbing shoes, and then they would start the conversations when we came over, like, "Oh, what size shoe does this nephew or that nephew wear?" And I'm like, "You're in women's shoes talking about what your nephew wears." Um, from there, the one with the white sweater and the black stretch pants, um, we saw her leave shoes, and then she kind of hung out in the girls' section. The other one began to run kind of back and forth. She was like grabbing stuff and bringing it to her, grabbing stuff. And they had the basket with a bunch of different stuff in it. >> Like a little basket that you carry around? Yeah, it No, it was a cart. And then um, they had came here, grabbed a couple of watches, went over here in our queuing, grabbed a couple of wallets, um, and then they were hanging out in the men's shoe section. So, I walked past them about three or four times, and I had noticed the things in the basket slowly disappearing. Like I walked by, you didn't go anywhere, but the watches are gone, the wallets are gone, these shoes are gone, and their bags were now stuffed in with it. Um, at that point, it was about five, 6 minutes before that when I called you guys cuz I noticed the suspicious behavior. Um, after that, they attempted to come up to the register. Um, they took two things out of the basket, a pair of shoes and a kid's jacket, and told my cashier, "Oh, my card's not working. I'm going to have to go to the ATM." before she even rang anything up and then walked out with the basket. In the end, the two women were charged with theft and possession of stolen property. The lesson is simple. Dishonesty and stealing always backfire. Respecting others' property and owning up to your actions keeps you out of trouble. And now, let's meet the women who worked a magic trick, turning an empty bag into a full one. You okay? Mhm. On August 6th, 2024, Orlando police responded to an urgent call from Walmart. A woman grabbed stuffed it with merchandise and walked past checkout without paying. But it was her strange behavior afterward that raised even more suspicion. Here's what happened next. Can you walk over here, please? The suspect was taken into custody immediately, then questioned by police. She seemed cooperative at first, but kept showing unusual expressions throughout. What's your first name? Olivia. Last name? Connolly. How? Connolly. Connolly? Connolly. Connolly. Okay. Thank you. What do you mean? Can you give me Can you give me somebody else's phone number that can reach you? You don't have anybody? No? Okay. Okay, I need another person. While waiting for the store manager to tally up the stolen goods, officers began to suspect she might also be under the influence of something. You okay? Mhm. Just hang tight for me, okay? Um, do you still wish to talk if I ask you questions about this? Can I ask you questions? Okay. I need to say yes. Yeah. Can you tell me what this is? That was already in the bag. That's not mine. It's not yours? It was mine. A new twist came when officers discovered a strange substance in her bag. When questioned, Olivia denied it immediately. Meanwhile, the store manager reported she had stolen nearly $178 worth of merchandise. It was $178. What are you talking about? $178? $178 worth of merchandise that you tried to steal. That is a lie cuz literally it's pens, notebook, an outfit. Police then tested the strange substance found in her bag. The result came back positive for narcotics. In the end, Olivia was immediately transported to the Orange County jail and charged with drug possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, and retail theft over $100. Olivia's case is a clear warning. Over a few cheap items and dangerous curiosity, she destroyed her future with jail time, probation, and criminal charges. Next, let's see how a group of entitled teens thought their Sephora shoplifting spree went unnoticed. You don't know what's in the car. >> open the door if you want. I don't care. I'm being honest. There's nothing else. There's nothing else. All right. I didn't take anything else. All right, put your hands behind your back. On April 10th, 2025, a cosmetic store reported three 18-year-old girls stuffing products into their clothes and rushing out without paying. Officers quickly stopped their vehicle. Here's how it all went down. I was going to buy a concealer and then I was opening to try my shade, which is on my hand, and then she was like, "What are you going to take?" And I'm like, "No, I'm not going to take it." So then she started assuming that I was like going to steal the stuff from Sephora. So then I went up to one of the workers from there and I gave her the concealer and I was like, "Look, like so you can know I'm not taking anything." and I just left the store. Okay, cuz she's like saying that you guys took like necklaces and makeup No, we we didn't even get through like the actual pole. >> actually told her and she didn't say anything. She didn't say anything. She said she was like, "Sorry about my coworker's actions." and I was like, "No, you just need to make sure that they're not making it like seem like we're trying to steal anything." Yeah. >> So that's why I I gave her like the concealer bag and she took it back. You couldn't even go and ask her. I gave her the concealer and it was like the sprays, the sanitizer thing, and I just gave it back to her. So you never gave You never took anything. >> Oh, no. We went to other like We went to an Ulta, but we bought the stuff there and everything. They see me buy everything. One of them tried to argue she had only tested the makeup and returned it, insisting she hadn't stolen anything. But their upset, uncooperative attitude made it impossible for officers to just let it slide. Can you stop digging in your bag? She's looking for her phone. Okay, I don't want her digging in her bag. I don't know what's in the car. >> open the door if you want. I don't care. No, I'm just being honest. Like if you want to look All right, I'm not going to go searching through your car, but I don't >> a warning if you're going to look in my car, but I didn't say okay. First of all, you I'm not going to do the attitude. I'm not going to have her sitting here digging in her bag when I don't know what's in the car. Got it? Well, I'm telling you I'm telling you she's looking for her phone. >> I'm telling you I don't care what she's looking for. I don't want her digging in her bag when I don't know what's in the car. So lose the attitude. Thank you. I'm just like feel like I'm being targeted, but if you want >> Why are you being targeted? Because I asked her to stop digging through her bag? And I told you why she was digging through her Okay, and I'm telling you I don't care because I don't know what's in the car. Did they tell you what's going on? I'm like really confused cuz we went to Sephora and I was getting stuff and I didn't even give me a little bag and then after like the a girl like I seen that she was like walking around behind me. So then I went up to her and I was like, "Here, like I'm not going to take this just to make sure it cuz I feel like you're thinking that I'm going to steal it." The two older girls seemed playing the victim, but their younger sister wasn't as convincing. Watch as the act quickly unraveled. I asked you guys if you're supposed to be in school. You look young. I mean, she's supposed to be at work. Um, I'm currently working, too. So you're not in school? No, we just graduated recently. Oh, that's good. Can I talk to you? Yeah. Can you step out with your purse? All right, I'll talk to you here. So you just saw video surveillance? So do you want to tell me what you took? Watch how this petite girl managed to stash away pounds of cosmetics for her so-called collection. Is there anything in your pocket that belongs to Ulta? Knives, weapons, drugs, anything? 122 123. I just got my vape. It's a shame. Rather than focusing on their studies [music] and building a future, the young girls chose a foolish act that left a lasting stain. With the evidence undeniable, it was time for police to teach them a harsh lesson from the law of life. All right, can you step out so I can talk to you? Yes. All right. So other than you putting that in your bra, what else did you take? All right, I'm going to search you, so put your hands right here. Just put your wallet on the floor down. Turn around. You don't have anything else. Correct? Okay. How did your friend get that? What? How did she get that when it was in your shirt? She got No, she got one. And you got the other one? Where'd you put the other one at? I'm going to be real with you. I'm being honest. >> Okay, and there's nothing else. >> There's nothing else. >> All right. I didn't take anything else. All right, put your hands behind your back. The watch is yours? Huh? The watch is yours? Okay, can you step out? Yeah. All right. Um, pockets? Yeah. Anything sharp in there? I just have this one. Okay, anything else? No, that's it. Okay. All right, put your hands this way. Or lean up against the car. All right. Search your feet. There's nothing sharp in your um pants and your pockets. All right. Wait, can I please see all the possible things? So you're with retail theft, um, they're called In the end, all three girls were officially charged with retail theft. Besides being permanently banned from the store, they must face a long-lasting criminal record. This case shows us that stealing a few beauty products might feel small, but it leaves a permanent record and a hard lesson you can't erase. Next, let's take a look at the sophistication of this shoplifting crew. Stealing. Put that by the bag. Get back down. Just hold that. What? Hands on your back. Oh, Lori. On May 27th, 2023 in Florida, police ambushed a shoplifting crew who stashed goods in their car before sneaking back for more. Watch how their bold scheme collapsed instantly. 10-12. Come on. Go over there. You go over there. I'm helping you out. You're helping me being accused of stealing. Put that by the bag. Get back down. Just hold that. What? Hands on your back. Hey, get him. Get him. Hey. Hands on your back. That is hers. Put that by her. This is hers. >> stage for the other one or not? That might be As soon as they approached, police immediately arrested two women and identified the bags as theirs. At the same time, they handcuffed a man, but it seemed they had the wrong guy. He has nothing to do with this, right? No. 54 on him. Done. Go. So, we're still missing one? Yeah, he's in the back of the car. Okay. Listen, the tattoo on the arm guy? Yeah, he's in the back of the car. >> Hey, ladies. What are you doing? I'm working camera right now. You got an ID on you? No. No? They're lying, too. What about that? Yeah. What's your first name? Wait, where's their ID? She don't have it. They don't have No, they're lying. Oh, lying. They're lying. I thought you said they they were lying. Yeah, they're lying. Each stolen bag was quickly seized. However, one male suspect was still missing, heightening the tension. A preliminary check showed each had taken several pairs of shoes, yet they kept evading and refusing to provide identification. Identify. If I don't positively identify you, right? Okay, just >> That means that I'm going to put you under John Doe. Hey, you got And that's going to make it a lot or Jane Doe. Laysha? And then it's going to make it really hard for you to get out of there. What's in that bag? Yeah, it's fine. Uh male with a white shirt and blue and gray hat walking up the car by the Within minutes of the search, officers spotted two suspicious men, one trying to lock the car doors to hide the goods, but it was already too late. Come over here. Come over here. I got cuffs. He's got these tools here. He just locked the door. He just tried to lock the doors to the car, too. Nike. Adidas. Where do you want to sit at, right here? Dennis, where's your car at? My car is all the way by Old Navy. Well, I wanted to free you up. Hey, we're literally right here. We don't have enough people. We only have four people. So, I'll bring my car over. So, is that my car phone? Uh we'll we'll I'm going to leave my camera there. Just see if we can get anything. Two women were placed in the patrol car while the other stubbornly lied, facing the risk of being booked under a Jane Doe file. What is your social? I don't know why you need my social. To help me pull you up cuz I'm having a hard time, right? So, if I can pull you up and I don't have to pull you in as a Jane Doe, it makes it easier for you to get out. So, if that's what you want, that's fine. We can do it that way, but I'm trying to make this a little bit easier on you. I'm going to help you get that. This guy has ID. The officers assessed this was not just a petty theft, but a professional crew that repeatedly broke in, took loads of goods, then came back for more. The evidence was so abundant, it left them astonished. What does it mean when you guys say booster briefs? Uh organized and then they usually have the bags It usually means the car pulls up. Or they just go back and like back and forth? Yep. Dumps to y'all mouth, still. It's amazing. That's why I say citizens. Okay. You don't have a social, right? Do you have a social? No? >> No. >> Okay. Shoe. All Nike or Yep. The looks of it. Oh, Lori. The investigation later revealed that the two men had stolen a total of $4,077 worth of Nike and Adidas merchandise. In the end, the entire crew was officially charged with felony grand theft, facing two counts each. In addition, one suspect faced an extra charge of possession of an anti-shoplifting control device. What do you think about this case? Share your thoughts in the comments below. And now, watch how an entitled TikTok lawyer tries to outsmart the police. Illegal. Ma'am, this is not illegal. >> who's a police officer. I'm being sexually assaulted. I'm being sexually assaulted. Help me. Help me. On June 11th, 2025, officers on patrol observed a woman disregard a solid red light and drive erratically, leading to a traffic stop. The body cam footage shows how officers deal with the difficult know-it-all. What are you doing? Hi. What are you doing? >> What are you covering up? I'm not covering anything up. >> You literally just threw everything down onto the floorboard. I was grabbing my bag for my license. You were literally throwing I'm parking here because I work here. She tried covering something up on the floorboard. You did it. You know why I'm You know why I'm pulling you over? Sienna. Do you know why I'm pulling you over? Why? You're going to give me attitude right now, like you're annoyed because you went right through the red light in front of us at Orange and Wa- Okay. What is working here, driving through a red light on Orange and Washington? I'm late from break and I'm sorry. >> You're late from break? Yes. Okay. Here. >> Ma'am, do me a favor, put your car in park. Yeah, it's a I can't because I pulled over because I saw you behind me. >> Put your car in park. As officers approached, the woman appeared to hide something on the floorboard, excusing herself for being late to work. But moments later, the secret inside her car was exposed. There's a bottle in there. You want to talk to me? So, what do you do for work? What I do for work? >> Uh-huh. Sales vacation. Sales vacation? >> Vacation sales. Okay. So, there's an open bottle of tequila in the car. How many How many Ma'am, I'm not arguing with you. I'm I'm trying That's like three weeks Ma'am, ma'am, let's talk. How many drinks did you have today? None. Oh, okay. Why is there an open bottle of tequila in the car? There's not. Why did you blow by that red light? I didn't blow by red light. Officers found an open bottle of tequila in the car, but the woman insisted she hadn't been drinking, despite the strong smell of alcohol. Things would have been simple if she'd cooperated. Of course, she didn't. Ma'am, just take your phone out. Right now, you you're detained for a traffic stop, okay? Do me a favor >> I'm I'm already parked. >> Ma'am, do me a favor, step out the car for me. I'm going to bring my No, you're not, ma'am. Please step out of the car. Ma'am. You can't take my phone. >> don't resist. You're going to you're going to go to jail. I'm not resisting. I'm not resisting. >> You can't take my Stop. Stop. >> She's She's fighting. Stop. Stop. How many drinks did you have because you reek of alcohol? I have not had any drinks. Nothing? Nothing. Okay. The woman acted defiant, insisting she wasn't drunk and trying to pressure officers by claiming her brother was a cop. At least she reluctantly agreed to cooperate with the DUI test. So, if I do some exercises, are you willing to do some exercises? Is that legal? You don't have to do them. Okay, let's do it. Do you want to do them? If I take you out of these handcuffs, are you going to cooperate? >> Yes, sir. All right. I promise. >> If you if you act up, you will get a charge or additional charges. Do you understand that? Yes, I will not act up. And sales. Okay. How many drinks did you have today? None. Come over. Turn off your front lights. >> take them off? >> If you would like to take them off, you have that opportunity to take them off. >> It's okay. Why did you urinate yourself? I didn't urinate. Why what's that on the seat? I sat in juice. You know, you can't pull over somebody who's parked. Ma'am, I don't understand I don't know what you know, but I you committed a traffic violation at Orange and Washington. >> pull over somebody who's parked. Who said that? You can't. She insisted she was sober, yet during the test, she stumbled and lost control ending with the inevitable charge of driving under the influence. Sir. Can you keep your hands on to your side? >> was a raindrop on my head. You're moving your head. So, we're going to start this again. >> moving my head? >> I'm not asking you. >> No, I haven't. I'm telling you you're moving your head. And hands down to your side. And hold that position till I'm done explaining. Now, you're additionally getting charged with DUI, okay? So, you went inside my car? Yes, we did. >> Without permission? With probable cause. Get in the car. >> without permission. With with probable cause. I need my phone. You'll get that. >> anything on you? I need my phone. It's going to come with you. Get in the car. I need my phone. You're going to get another charge. Get in the car. Get in the car. Do it now. What's the other charge? You already have a resisting and I'll add another one. Even when faced with clear evidence, she kept pleading innocence leaning on her family of lawyers and cops to escape. But would borrowed power really save her? I'm telling you right now, I have a a brother who's a police officer and I have an uncle who's a lawyer. Okay. >> So, how am I arrested for a DUI? You're under arrest. >> You're about to you're about to face some real serious consequences. I'll tell you that right now. Okay. So, because I can't wait to put you guys behind bars. Let's go. I'm so excited for this. You're not going to ever be able to work for anything government-wise. You got to stand still. Can you do that? You have me off a curb. No, I'm actually on the Put it like off the There's only a centimeter away from the Widen your stance. Wider. Wider. What else do you want? Wider. It can't go wider. She can't, I promise you. >> Try. There you go. Is that good enough? I don't know if you fall over. You guys aren't listening to me. >> [laughter] >> She kept threatening officers and claiming innocence, yet couldn't even stand during the search, then smeared the police, earning herself an extra charge on top. Yeah, we're good. Someone get the I'm being resisted I'm being arrested unlawfully. >> HOLD HER LIKE THIS. RECORD this if you can. Record this if you can. >> right now. No, they're recording as well. I'm being sexually assaulted. Nobody said I'm being sexually assaulted. I'm searching your pockets. HELP ME. HELP ME. SHE SEXUALLY ASSAULTED ME. Can you put me on 19th and I will protect myself. This is not the right way to hold somebody. This is not the right way to hold her. Stop, ma'am. Stop resisting, ma'am. Oh, not the right way. Not the right way. Or you're going to get hurt. Stop resisting. In the end, the woman was charged with multiple offenses: running a red light, driving under the influence DUI, resisting arrest, driving without a valid license, and battery on an officer. This case shows that relying on family power only dragged the woman deeper into trouble. The law is fair and no one can escape its punishment.
